Episode #12376 ~ Jennifer is surprised by Eve's reaction; Hope takes Aiden's breath away; Brady & Theresa party in Las Vegas.

Provided By Suzanne

Hope: Okay, let me see. Okay, looks good right there. Don't move it.

Aiden: Yeah? Okay. Yeah, it's one of my favorite pieces.

Hope: Wow. The gala's finally happening. Can you believe it?

Aiden: Mm-hmm. St. Luke's is gonna make a lot of money tonight.

Hope: Oh, from your mouth to God's ears.

Victor: Ah, hope...

Hope: Hey, Victor.

Victor: Here, take this.

Hope: Oh, wow. Thank you.

Victor: That's for the silent auction. Brady was supposed to deliver it, but as usual, I have to do everything myself.

Hope: Why? Where's Brady?

Victor: Are you kidding? With that boy, who the hell knows?

Brady: All right. All right, all right. What is that? What is that?

Theresa: Double zero.

Brady: Double zero. That's terrible for me. [Laughs] That's bad. Hold on. Wait, wait, wait. Isn't that the second-- second double zero, like, in four minutes? This table's rigged, everybody. It's rigged! Do not come to this table!

Theresa: Brady, maybe we should just go somewhere else.

Brady: Go somewhere-- no way. I don't care if the table's rigged. We're gonna beat it. I got enough to beat it. There you go. Give me--give me something. Get me more chips. All right, all right. I love Vegas! I love it so much. All right.

Bev: Hey.

JJ: I'm working, Bev.

Bev: You can take a break, right? For a few?

JJ: What do you want?

Bev: JJ, I know how you feel about me, okay? I've done things... mistakes. But I did all that because, well, you know how I feel about you, and that's never changed. I guess what I'm asking is, do I still have a chance... I mean, now that you and Paige are going nowhere?

Daniel: Hey, there's the, uh--there's the graduate.

Paige: Oh, hi. Glad I found you. I wanted to thank you for your card. What you wrote was really great.

Daniel: Well, I meant every word of it. You have a very bright future coming your way. You know, I just found out that I-I know your mother. She was one of my patients until today. You must be really excited. She's back in town. You get to be together.

Paige: It--yeah, it's, uh-- it's great to have her here... sometimes, anyway.

Jennifer: All of the proceeds and royalties from jack's book we will split 50/50.

Ever: Well, Jenn, that's mighty big of you to step up like that, but, uh... I don't think that's gonna be quite enough.

Jennifer: What? Wait. That's what was in the annulment papers. You talked jack into splitting half... I mean, for Pete's sake, you can't possibly want more.

Ben: It's my fault-- going off on EJ DiMera like that. You said to me flat out, EJ didn't mean a thing to you. There's no reason for me to warn you about him. But I wasn't listening.

Abigail: It's nothing you said. I was just thinking about something else. I'm sorry.

Ben: About where you went when you disappeared a while ago? Right? I know.

EJ: I need to know that I can count on your discretion.

Abigail: You know where I went?

EJ: What in God's name did you do?

Sami: What did I do? Now, let me see... well, EJ, I did to you exactly what you did to Abigail. You son of a bitch. You thought you were gonna get away with it, didn't you?

EJ: Get away with what? What are you... what are you talking about, Samantha? This is not some sort of game, okay? Can you just please focus and tell me--

Sami: You had sex with Abigail Deveraux, EJ, right under my nose, laughing the whole time, I'm sure. "Oh, that dumb Sami. Sami's so stupid. She's so blind. She won't know what I'm doing." Well, guess what. This is what payback feels like, EJ, and it's gonna get worse.

Paige: Uh... don't get me wrong. It's just sometimes... you know, mothers and daughters.

Daniel: Ah, right, got it. Got it, yeah.

Paige: Uh, what did you mean when you said my mom was your patient until today? I really pushed for her to go to you. You're the best.

Daniel: Well, thank you, but your mother thought there might be a conflict with me, so she changed surgeons. Not a big deal.

Paige: Is it because... JJ told me--

Daniel: You know, you, uh-- you're out of school, right? Weather's nice, warm. So why don't you tell me what's going on with you and JJ? You guys having a fun summer, I'll bet, huh?

Paige: Actually, that's kind of overstating it.

JJ: Who the hell said Paige and I are going nowhere?

Bev: Come on, JJ, don't get mad. I'm just saying. I was there when your mom and Paige's mom went at it-- you know, after graduation? And Marybeth said it was really bad too.

JJ: Just an argument. It's no biggie.

Bev: Does Paige think so?

JJ: What do you mean, Bev?

Bev: Well, it's kind of obvious, isn't it? I mean, pretty soon Paige is going to have to choose-- her mom or you.

Eve: Well, you are certainly consistent,

Jennifer: Excuse me?

Eve: I'll give you that much.

Jennifer: What?

Eve: You know, you always think the worst of me and never fail to say so.

Jennifer: Eve, you just said--

Eve: I don't want more than my fair share. Clear? That's all I've ever asked for.

Jennifer: And that's what I just said you would get.

Eve: Well, maybe in your little world, you might think that's true, but you're wrong.

Jennifer: You're not making any sense. I just told you you could have half the royalties. I can't make it any plainer to you. And when the movie rights are added--

Eve: Ah-ah. Right there.

Jennifer: What?

Eve: The movie rights. See, I had big issues with the way you're negotiating them-- I mean, big issues.

EJ: All right, just, um... just please let me just explain.

Sami: Oh, good. Actually, EJ, the truth is, I was really interested in hearing an explanation, but I don't want you to leave out any juicy details. Don't spare me any of it-- how young she was, how gorgeous she is, those thighs. I mean, if you're gonna cut me, you want to jam that knife all the way in.

EJ: Look, Samantha--

Sami: And I just actually was thinking this whole time-- and it's just you and me now talking, right-- that it was Chad, right? Chad had told you how good she is in the sack? All that inexperience? Ugh, and then he goes to Boston, and you're like, "oh, I can't stop thinking about her."

EJ: Would you please just stop? It only happened once, okay? It just happened.

Sami: And there it is-- the confession. [Chuckles] Perfect timing. "So, darling, it only happened the one time. It was a momentary indiscretion." Don't pile lies on top of lies, because that is not gonna help you.

EJ: Samantha, look, I love you.

Sami: Don't lie to me.

EJ: You have to believe that.

Sami: I don't have to believe that, because if you loved me...

EJ: You know that is true.

Sami: You wouldn't have betrayed me. You wouldn't have treated me like dirt while you went and had your fun.

EJ: You kicked me out of your bed.

Sami: [Scoffs] So it's my fault. Want a fiber that's clearly healthy?

Ben: You went to see Sami, right? I mean, the last thing you said to me when you left was that you really felt sorry for her.

Abigail: Yeah. Uh, yeah.

Ben: How's she doing?

Abigail: She's keeping busy. Uh... she had a board meeting today, had to take over for EJ.

Ben: Oh... that must be so hard for her-- just married, having to look out for her husband while he's in jail?

Abigail: Right. Yeah, I'm--I'm sure. But... I think that Sami's taking her job very seriously.

EJ: No, no, no. Of course I'm not saying it's your fault, obviously.

Sami: Good... because, yes, I asked you to sleep in another bedroom, but I stayed in that house... because I loved you, because I... honored you. [Scoffs] I was desperate. I mean, I was really desperate to figure out how to fix our problems, but, of course, it was just the one problem-- you lying to me about Kristen. But clearly you were desperate for something else.

EJ: Samantha, I love you.

Sami: Is that what you whispered to Abigail in the cabin?

EJ: I don't think I could ever explain to you exactly what happened in that cabin.

Sami: Okay, good. To hell with the cabin, anyway. I mean, I'm sick of talking about it. Let's talk about something else. Ooh, I know. Ha ha. Let's talk about the shower... your private shower in the company locker rooms. You remember, don't you? I can see it on your face that you do-- how I came home early, surprised you, and I was there in that room with you while you did her.

Victor: You know what, Brady? Don't bother to call me back. I'm not interested in hearing any more lies. [Sighs] I swear, you tell him to do one thing, one lousy thing.

Aiden: You know, I'm wondering if I'm the reason why he didn't want to show up today.

Victor: Who the hell are you?

Aiden: I'm Aiden Jennings, Mr. Kiriakis. And thank you for your help.

Victor: JJ's lawyer from a while back, right?

Aiden: That's right. That's right. I also ran into your grandson Brady recently, and, well, I... think we got off on the wrong foot.

Victor: Why?

Aiden: Well, I think we both misunderstood the...

Hope: Brady, uh... was a little under the weather when they met.

Victor: Oh, good God. Enough with the euphemisms. He was drunk.

Brady: [Groaning] [Groans] Oh, God. What--what does ever-- everyone's sad. I got the six, right?

Theresa: Ah, that's a four.

Brady: Four's a snore! Four is a snore. I want sex. I mean six. What did I say? It sounded like a said "sex."

Theresa: Brady, in the last 20 minutes, you've kind of blown through more than I make in a year.

Brady: Baby, you need a raise. That's what you need. Listen, hey, we're going big. We're going big. [Sniffs]

Theresa: [Distorted] Brady? Are you okay?

Brady: Never mind. Yeah. [Sniffs] Yeah. [Scoffs] Feeling good. Ready to rock and--

Theresa: Brady! Brady, Brady, come on, come on. Can somebody come-- can somebody--security? Brady. Brady.

JJ: You want things to blow up for me and Paige. We're fine.

Bev: Come on, JJ, I like you, bad-boy past and all. But Paige's mom is not gonna want her daughter hanging with you. You saw how tough she can be. I mean, if you think for one second--

JJ: Tell it to someone else, Bev. Seriously, I'm going home.

Paige: JJ's got a lot to do. He's still on probation and community service and, you know, stuff.

Daniel: Right, right, right.

Paige: But he was totally blown away by that guitar you gave him for graduation.

Daniel: Yeah? Cool. That's great. That's good.

Paige: He keeps trying to write this "absolutely perfect" thank-you note. Then he wads it up and starts all over. He was so psyched.

Daniel: Well, that's good. I miss him. I do. And I understand why he doesn't want to contact me. That's cool. I get...

Paige: No, no. It's not about you and his mom. It's something else.

Daniel: Okay, I'm just gonna put this out there, Paige, but ever since you got here, it's like something's wrong and you're afraid to talk about it. Can I... can I help you?

Jennifer: I see. So you have issues with the way I'm handling the movie rights.

Eve: Mm-hmm. You've left too much money on the table.

Jennifer: Mm, well, that's really interesting, 'cause I'm not negotiating anything. That is up to the professionals to do that.

Eve: Who are all in bed with one another.

Jennifer: Oh, that is nonsense. Jack's agents--they just want to make sure that his story is told the way he would want it to be told, not some cheap, guns-blazing Hollywood version. The key here is the book's integrity, eve.

Eve: [Laughs] Oh, please. In Hollywood, they have to Google "integrity" just to find out what it means. The key here is money, honey.

Jennifer: Unbelievable. You--you just don't have any idea what is going on.

Eve: What are you talking about? All you've been talking about is that jack would want this for the veterans. It's all about the veterans.

Jennifer: That is exactly what this is about.

Eve: Well, if you lowball jack's book, you're short-changing the veterans.

Jennifer: You don't give a damn about the veterans!

Eve: I give a damn about me, my daughter, and my payday, and I'm not gonna let you blow it!

Victor: You know, I don't know how long he thinks we're gonna put up with this. Even Maggie's losing patience.

[Cell phone rings]

Victor: He's ruining his-- good God. Hong Kong again. I swear these people never sleep.

Aiden: Mr. Kiriakis is a real dynamo.

Hope: Yes, he is.

Aiden: Yeah.

Hope: Okay. Let's go over the checklist one more time.

Aiden: All right. You know what, hope? We really made this gala--

Hope: [Shouts] Don't say anything.

Aiden: Well--what?

Hope: You'll jinx it. Don't say anything.

Louis: We've got a huge problem, an emergency.

Paige: Dr. Jonas, there are some problems, but I can't really talk about them now.

Daniel: Okay.

Paige: I'm sure JJ will get in touch with you soon, though.

Daniel: Okay, okay. And by the way, you can call me Daniel. It's cool.

Paige: Oh... that may take some getting used to, but okay.

Daniel: Well, get used to it, all right?

Paige: Ugh. You sound like my mom. She's always telling people to call her by her first name.

Daniel: Yeah, yeah. I sort of ran into that once or twice already and calling her something else. Shouldn't have done that.

Paige: [Laughs]

Daniel: Yeah.

Paige: She really likes you. When she went and met you in person for her consultation, she was totally impressed.

Daniel: Well, I like her. She's, um... she's outgoing, yeah.

Paige: One way to put it.

[Both laugh]

Daniel: Yeah, right?

Paige: Anyway, I'm glad she's making some friends.

Eve: You listen up, Jenn. You sign away this book for anything less than a million, I'm gonna come after you, and then you're gonna have to fork out a lot more royalties to make up the difference.

Jennifer: What?

Eve: You know what? I can't even help it if your living in this little town has made you think small.

Jennifer: You are beyond greedy. You are insane.

Eve: Oh, no, no, no. I'm not. I'm just not miss goody-goody two-shoes.

Jennifer: I just figured it out--this isn't even about the book anymore. This is about me.

Eve: What?

Jennifer: I brought you over here to make this deal with you and to give you everything that you asked for.

Eve: Oh, why--because you're just so gosh-darn sweet?

Jennifer: It's just never going to be enough, is it? It's not, 'cause you're gonna keep pushing because you want to stick it to me. This is all about some boy who didn't ask you to prom and asked me and some party that you didn't get invited to 25 years ago? You are sick. You are twisted that you would even bring that into this.

Eve: And you know what you are? You are a controlling, uptight egomaniac!

Jennifer: We are finished! I brought you here for a terrific deal. Now get out of my house!

Ben: I'd love for you to stay so we can talk, but wouldn't you know, they expect me to work here.

Abigail: That's okay. We can talk later.

Ben: Abigail... there's some stuff I want you to know.

Abigail: Wow. So serious.

Ben: I just, um... I want to be honest with you, about me. You've been completely honest with me about yourself, so... I feel like I should be open with you.

Abigail: Okay. Um... well, next time.

Ben: Yeah.

Abigail: Okay.

Sami: So tell me-- what was that like? I mean, sure, you and I have done the in-the-shower routine a few times ourselves, but, uh, never with the woman that you had promised to marry on the other side of the curtain. I mean, wow. That is brave. And, what, you guys are, like, soapy and slip-sliding around, and there's Abigail, promising God she's "arriving" sometime soon, and then what? Whoops. We have a visitor. [British accent] "Lovey, I think that's my fiancée out there. Just give me a moment to pop out and send her on her merry way. I'll tell her I love her. I'll be right back."

EJ: Please, would you just--

Sami: What? What? I mean, what can you even say after how weird you were that day, how distracted you were with me? You think I didn't notice that? You think I didn't go down to security and look at the tapes myself? I mean, God, Abigail had to leave in a different outfit just so she could get out of the building.

EJ: Please, I am so sorry, and I am not proud at all.

Sami: You're not proud of it? That's so surprising, 'cause, wow, EJ, you really got yourself a hot, young chick there. You should have put it on the internet.

EJ: What are you talking about?

Sami: I hope you told your father. I'm sure he gave you a pat on the back, a good solid "attaboy."

EJ: Let's just keep my father out of it, shall we? Please. Okay? This is between you and me. This is about us. We need to work together to fix this for our children, for our family, Samantha. You see that... don't you, Samantha? Tell me--tell me that you understand that. Tell me see that.

Sami: [Laughing]

Louis: Okay, so I found this message on my desk, and I came right over. It seems that the sisters from St. Augustine's never received their tickets. Now, they sold two tables to extremely wealthy parishioners who believe very strongly in... what? What?

Aiden: Check the time on that message, father.

Hope: The sisters got their tickets hours ago.

Louis: Oh... [Laughs] Okay. Whoa. Thank heavens. Excellent. Excellent. You guys are really on top of things.

Victor: Yes, they are. That ballroom looks terrific, but with hope, I'm not surprised.

Hope: Oh.

Victor: You I don't know, but you seem to have your stuff together too.

Aiden: Oh, thanks.

Victor: Good luck.

Hope: Bye, Victor.

Louis: Nice to see you, Mr. Kiriakis. Well, you know, actually I've got a few things to do myself. I've got to contact Marlena about Patti Stanger being our emcee.

Hope: All taken care of, father. Probably on her way as we speak.

Aiden: Yeah.

Hope: Right?

Louis: Well, wonderful. Wonderful. Okay. Now, tell me honestly-- aren't you two glad that I forced you to work together on this project, hmm?

Theresa: No, no, no, Brady, come on, just sit up. There's no more games, okay? I think it's time to go back to the airport. We'll get you back to Salem, all right? You think you can stand?

Ma'am, I can tell you-- no airline's gonna let him board in this condition.

Theresa: Well, we came by private jet, so we'll leave when we want, and we'll go wherever we want. Now, be a good boy and go catch us a limo.

Brady: [Moans]

Theresa: Come on, Brady. Just stand up.

Brady: No, I'm good. Hey, there he is. Excuse me. Sorry.

Theresa: I'm so sorry.

Brady: Did you miss me? [Laughs] How's it going? Let's go... play 'em all. Play 'em all. My luck's got to change sometime soon.

Theresa: Okay, come on, Brady. Now just stick with me, and your luck will definitely change, okay? Come on. I'm sorry. Come on.

Eve: Well, you just tell your attorney that there'll be some added charges because you have caused me traumatic emotional pain, and I think that's worth at least another 10%, don't you think?

Jennifer: No, half. Make it 50%. Get out of my house!

Eve: I'm going. [Sighs]

[Door opens, closes]

Jennifer: [Grunts angrily]

JJ: Mom?

Jennifer: That woman is so unbelievable.

JJ: What happened?

Jennifer: Nothing. I'm gonna be fine.

JJ: Let me-- hey, just--you can sit down, and I can get you--

Jennifer: No, I'm not gonna sit down. I need to go to the park and walk or do something.

JJ: [Sighs] Mom, wait.

Sami: [Laughing] Okay, sorry. You just caught me off guard. I mean, I know you have an ego, but, like, man alive. EJ, you think we can work through this? How are we gonna do that?

EJ: Well, we--

Sami: More importantly, why? Why would I do that? Because I'd be such an idiot to throw away this wonderful life that I have with you? I'd be stupid to toss away a long and faithful future with you?

EJ: Look, I know you're really angry with me at the moment, but if you just calm down and get a little bit of perspective on the situation, Samantha, you're gonna see that it's...

Sami: Oh, oh. Oh, I see that there's some confusion that I should probably, I don't know, clear up here. I've known about this... for weeks, EJ. I have known for weeks and weeks and weeks. So, no, I don't think I'm going to calm down about it. And you know what? To hell with perspective. I decided that, starting on our wedding day, I was going to dedicate myself to making your life... a living hell. And now guess what. I'm the co-CEO of DiMera enterprises. I have the power.

EJ: Oh, my God.

Sami: I have power over everything you care about, which obviously doesn't include me, but I'll survive. And in six month's time, I'll move on, and you'll be in prison for tax evasion.

EJ: You did that?

Sami: I was just getting warmed up, EJ. I can't wait for the next installment. More to come.

EJ: No, Samantha, wait. Wait, wait. Just wait, wait.

Sami: Oh, yeah, no. Don't worry. Don't worry. I will definitely give Abigail all of your love.

EJ: Hey, please.

Aiden: Wow. As of now... we are finished. There's nothing left to do.

Hope: Nothing left to do? Are you kidding me? Seriously? I still need to go home and get Ciara ready, get myself ready, find the right dress, shoes, hair, makeup, jewelry, of course. Yeah, sure, there's nothing left to do.

Aiden: I just have to throw on my tux.

Hope: Well, aren't you lucky?

Aiden: Mm-hmm.

Hope: Aiden?

Aiden: Yeah?

Hope: Just so we're clear, uh, I really don't care what father Louis said. Once this is over, I am not going to miss working with you.

Aiden: Well, you took the words right out of my mouth. So let's see who can get dressed and back here first.

Hope: Ah! You just have a tux. I still have to find a dress.

Daniel: Hey, come on in.

Victor: I was on my way home to change, and all of a sudden, I remembered Maggie wanted me to pick up a-a check from you?

Daniel: Ah, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not gonna be able to make the event tonight, but I still wanted to show my support. So can you give this to hope?

Victor: Sure.

Daniel: Thanks.

Victor: You haven't by any chance heard from Brady lately, have you?

Daniel: Nope, and I don't imagine I will. Last time we talked, it, uh, was not good.

Victor: Right.

Daniel: Yeah, I'm kind of worried about him.

Victor: Yeah, so am I. You know who else I'm worried about?

Daniel: Hmm?

Victor: You.

Daniel: [Sighs]

Jennifer: JJ, I gave that woman everything that she wanted, but you know what? She's not gonna be satisfied, not if she still has a chance to get back at me.

JJ: Well, Mom, maybe you could sit down and do some of your yoga stuff...

Jennifer: No, she is so impossible. She is gonna ruin the movie deal, and it's all out of spite. That's why she's doing this.

JJ: But she can't do it because you have the rights to that stuff.

Jennifer: It's just so infuriating. You know why? Because she doesn't care about your dad's book. She doesn't care about what he's trying to say. All she cares about is money and trying to stick it to me, and that's what she's doing.

JJ: Well, then we'll fight her.

Jennifer: Yes, we are going to fight her. No, I'm going to fight her. You are not going to fight her. This is not your battle.

JJ: Uh, mom, it is, and I am in this all the way.

Eve: Oh, that woman is insane if she thinks I'm gonna sit still for that. I mean, the second she decides, you know, we'll split everything 50/50, it's like bingo--she's ready to sell away the movie rights for a song, Paigey.

Paige: Mom, I understand that you're really upset, but maybe you should try to see it from her point of view. Maybe she really is trying to make sure--

Eve: No, no, no. She is out to cut back on my earnings, what is mine, and that's what is happening, baby girl. I'm telling you that. But my attorney is going to eat her for lunch.

Paige: [Sighs] I don't really think that...

Eve: You know what? W-wait. That we can talk about later. Right now... it's time we talk about JJ Deveraux.

Paige: [Sighs]

Eve: Okay? You know he has been a big concern of mine from the beginning. Right? We're a team. Always have been and always will be, right?

Paige: Sure, yeah.

Eve: Then I just don't understand why you are testing me by getting involved with a boy like that, sweetheart.

Paige: I'm not testing you. He's--

Eve: He's a drug user.

Paige: Not anymore. He has...

Eve: He destroyed the town square, sweetheart. He's on probation. You know, he's lucky he's not in Statesville prison.

Paige: Mom, that stuff was a long time ago. How many times do I have to tell you? He--he doesn't use drugs anymore and that he's changed. And he's been honest with me about everything.

Eve: Everything?

Paige: Yeah.

Eve: Including trying to get your aunt Theresa thrown in jail?

Sami: Hi, Abby. about me?

Victor: Oh, don't play dumb with me. You and Jennifer.

Daniel: Okay, look--

Victor: Just shut up and listen. I've seen you miserable. I've seen you happy. Now, be honest-- which one are you right now, and why is that?

Daniel: It's complicated.

Victor: Happiness is not complicated, Daniel. I know, I know. I'm not supposed to tell you what to do. I'm supposed to be like Maggie-- listen and sympathize and gently point you in the right direction. Yeah, like that's going to happen.

Daniel: Did Maggie tell you what went wrong?

Victor: Of course she did. She's female. She understands feelings and all that malarkey.

Daniel: [Laughs]

Victor: A woman tells me she doesn't have a very high regard of me, I take it as a matter of course.

Daniel: Okay, Victor, Victor...

Victor: Daniel, get over yourself. Give Jennifer a break. So she's wrong about you. So what?

Daniel: Okay, may--maybe she's right. Maybe I'm not good enough for her or for--

Victor: Oh, of course you are. I've been running around looking for my coke-sniffing, drunken grandson. You remember? Compared to him, you're a saint. I'll see you.

Daniel: Well, always a pleasure, Victor.

Victor: Daniel, I'm old. You're gonna get there soon enough yourself. No need to be miserable in the meantime. It's all out there just waiting for you to grab. Happiness is staring you right in the face.

Paige: What do you mean he tried to get her thrown in jail?

Eve: Well, Theresa was vague, but, sweetheart, I am sure she was not making it up.

Paige: No. JJ would have told me about something like that.

Eve: Unless he knew it would force you to take a good, long, hard look at the boy he really is. Me--I've... I've already made up my mind, sweetheart. But if we're still a team and I've opened your eyes about that boy, then you're gonna realize that I have done you a very big favor.

Jennifer: Sweetheart, if you get involved, you know that your relationship with Paige--

JJ: No, mom. No, I get it, but Paige is not like her mom. She's not gonna get caught up in all this crazy stuff. But I mean it--you are not going through this alone.

Jennifer: [Sighs] Well, we'll see, all right? I just--I'm sorry. I feel better now. I just needed to vent. Let's go home. Come on.

JJ: Okay. All right. Well, you know, actually, you--you go on ahead. I'm gonna call Paige and see what's going on.

Jennifer: All right. I'll see you there.

Both: Okay.

[Line trilling]

[Cell phone ringing]

Paige: [Sighs] Hello?

JJ: Hey. Uh... something's come up.

Paige: Yeah, you might say that, JJ. What did you do to Theresa?

JJ: What?

Paige: Did you set her up, try to send her to jail?

JJ: Whoa, whoa. No, hey, hey-- it is not that simple, okay?

Paige: So you did? My--my mother wasn't just making that up?

JJ: Well, it's... it's not like I was trying to hide something from you. It's--

Paige: No, no, no. You just didn't bother to tell me because it might make you look bad.

JJ: Paige, come on, that is not the reason why. It's just--I've tried really hard to be honest with you about this.

Paige: Well, I guess you didn't try hard enough, JJ.

JJ: Hey, let's meet up, okay, face-to-face, so we can talk about this. Paige? Hello?

Abigail: Hi, Sami. I didn't expect to see you.

Sami: Yet here I am. Well, you know, with everything going on, we haven't seen each other since the wedding, and it's so nice to see a friendly face, so here I am.

Abigail: Right. Uh, is EJ still...

Sami: Yeah. Locked up like a common criminal.

Abigail: Uh, can I get you something to drink maybe?

Sami: You know what I'd really like? I just thought something positive, something that would take my mind off of everything that's going on, you know? You want to look at some wedding photos? Come on, it'll be fun.

Abigail: [Sighs]

Daniel: Jenn.

[Cell phone ringing]

Daniel: Hey, Chloe. W-whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down. Slow down. Okay, well, is your mom okay? What kind of surgery? Yeah, well, that's a relief. No, no, I'll tell you what-- no, if I leave right now, I can get there before your plane takes off, and I'll pack Parker's things right away. Yep. Okay. Yes, I'll be--yes. Hold on. I'll be there. Bye.

[Door opens]

[Over intercom] Folks, there's a little turbulence up ahead here. Could get bumpy before we start our descent into Salem. Please make sure you're strapped in.

Theresa: Got to keep you safe, baby.

Eve: You know, Paige, I was thinking that-- [Sighs] Paige?

[Banging on door]

Eve: Hey! Hold your horses. Hey, I'm coming. Paige isn't here.

JJ: Oh, no, oh, no, you're the one I came for.

EJ: Idiot. Idiot! You idiot! How could you not see this coming? She looked into your eyes... and she purrs that she'd be your wife! That she loves you! [Screams] [Crying]

Sami: Oh, look at that one. Aw, poor EJ. He had no idea what was gonna happen to him.

Abigail: Uh, Sami, you know, um... normally with tax-evasion charges, a person just has to pay a large fine, and then everything's okay.

Sami: Is that what you think--everything will be okay for EJ?

Abigail: Well, yeah. I--

Jennifer: Hi, honey. Sami, hi.

Sami: Hi, Jennifer.

Abigail: Hi, mom.

Jennifer: Hey, what are you guys doing?

Abigail: We are looking at Sami's wedding photos.

Jennifer: Oh...

Sami: You want to see?

Jennifer: Yes.

Sami: How about this one? Look at your beautiful daughter.

Abigail: Oh, you don't have to...

Jennifer: My goodness, honey, you really do look so beautiful in that dress.

Abigail: Thank you.

Sami: I mean, if that isn't the picture of a heartbreaker, then I don't know what is.

Jennifer: You are such a cutie.

Sami: Oh... I wish your dad were here to see what kind of woman you have turned out to be. Look at this one.
