Episode #12187 ~ Eric tells Brady and Kristen his decision; Daniel gives Eric a clue about who poisoned him.

EJ: Let me help you with that.
Sami: Down, boy. We don't want to miss our engagement party. We have a party to get to. Aah! [Laughing] No! No! Come on, you have to get changed.
EJ: We have plenty of time.
Sami: I have to get changed. We don't want to be late for our own party. Whoa!
EJ: Well, it's our party. Who cares if we're a little bit late?
Marge: It didn't have to be like this. You left me no choice, Sami... none.
Cameron: Yeah, I had a question about your drug trials. The ones to determine if it's effective against brain tumors. Yes. You know, what I would like to know is if-- are you guys conducting any studies outside of the los Angeles area?
Chad: Hey.
Abigail: Hey.
Chad: What's, uh-- what's wrong?
Abigail: Nothing.
Chad: Huh. Don't give me that. Yeah.
Abigail: I'm just nervous about tonight. God, I must have tried on, like, 200 different outfits, but... does this dress look okay?
Chad: Well, you look amazing.
Abigail: Thank you.
Chad: But, um... that's not what you're upset about. It's JJ, isn't it?
Caroline: I heard you were back. I was hoping it was just a rumor.
Stefano: Ah, Caroline, how lovely to see you.
Caroline: Hmm. I wish I could say the same.
Stefano: You know, somebody must have broken these windows. It's terrible. Terrible!
Caroline: Oh, come on. What's a little broken glass? Compared to the things that you've done to people's lives, it's just a mere nothing.
Eric: This says the woman at the hotel in the lobby's name was Fay Taylor. Okay, Nicole's mother was Fay. Her sister's named Taylor. It just has to be a coincidence. It has to be.
Nicole: I know why Kristen had you robbed.
Marlena: You do?
Nicole: Well, I caught her staring at a flash drive, and she was talking to herself. And she tried to cover, but I made her nervous when I saw her with it.
Marlena: I can't crack the code. What are you saying?
Nicole: Well, maybe when you were looking through Kristen's purse looking for your flash drive, you got hers instead.
Marlena: And that's what the robber must have been trying to get.
Nicole: Exactly.
Marlena: Oh, my gosh. That means there's something on that drive she desperately does not want me to see. So... we have to find it.
Gail: By tomorrow, you will know all about what JJ did.
Chad: Well, somebody's got to set that kid straight.
Abigail: Well, I tried. And I did exactly the wrong thing.
Chad: And you're not gonna tell me about that either.
Abigail: Tomorrow. And then I have to find a way to make it all right.
Chad: Okay, how about we figure it out, whatever it is, together? Hmm?
Abigail: I like the sound of that.
Chad: Come here.
Cameron: Are you sure? So there's no one outside of the los Angeles area conducting these trials or participating in them? Really? Okay, well, thank you. I must have-- must have misunderstood. Oh, Gabi, hey.
Gabi: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. You were pretty into your conversation--sorry.
Cameron: It's-- it's about a patient. Yeah.
Gabi: Must be serious. You look pretty upset.
Cameron: [Sighs]
Kristen: Yeah. Well, I'll meet you as soon as I can get away. Hey.
Brady: Who was that?
Kristen: It was my marketing office. They want me to stop by and green-light a new ad campaign.
Brady: Oh.
Kristen: Hey, could I meet you after that, and maybe we can go to the party together?
Brady: How long you gonna be?
Kristen: Not very long at all. And after tonight, this little project is gonna be officially done. Yippee.
Brady: Good.
Joanna: Okay. Hey, do you want a box of juice? I do. Take out that... and... oops. Don't play with that, honey. Thank you. I know you found it, but it doesn't belong to us.
Sami: Oh, at the party tonight, everyone's gonna be asking me about the mysterious smile I have on my face.
EJ: You know, I don't think they're going to need to ask. [Chuckles]
Sami: Oh, it's so embarrassing!
EJ: Why? We're in love. I don't care who knows that. why don't we bury the hatchet for one night, all right? After all, your granddaughter is celebrating her engagement to my son.
Caroline: [Chuckles] You seem to think you're on top of the world again.
Stefano: Well, you know something? I don't think it. I know it.
Caroline: Don't kid yourself. With the revenge you've taken and violence that you've done, that scream you hear in the night will be the banshees coming for you.
Gabi: You didn't even hear me coming up behind you.
Cameron: You know what? It's a very, very confusing case, actually. Did you get my text that I sent you?
Gabi: Yes. That's why I'm here.
Cameron: Excellent. Now, look, I know we were all set to go for the Oktoberfest, but there is a party at Sonny's club, and it's actually an engagement party for, uh, Sami Brady and EJ DiMera. And I was wondering if you'd like to go with me.
Gabi: Well, the thing is I already committed to this thing on campus. It's an open-mic night. Um...
Cameron: Oh. That's fine.
Gabi: But you know what? I-I hate open-mic nights, so...
Cameron: Really? Okay.
Gabi: Yeah, really. And I-I just said I'd go 'cause I wanted to go out, and I'd much rather go to a party. We already have a babysitter, so...
Cameron: Awesome. So will you go with me?
Gabi: Yes. I just have to go home and change, so I'll meet you there.
Cameron: Great. Sounds good.
Gabi: Awesome.
Cameron: Awesome.
Gabi: Thank you for the invite.
Cameron: It's honestly my pleasure.
Gabi: Okay.
Cameron: [Sighs] I don't know what you're up to, Chad, but I don't like the sound of it one bit.
Chad: All right, look, I know you're upset and you don't love being around my family, and I know they're gonna be here in full force. So, if you want to bail, I totally understand.
Abigail: No, no, no, no, I don't. Really, really, I don't. I swear, I am through talking about me. I want to know about you now.
Chad: Yeah? Like what?
Abigail: Like what's it like living in that house?
Chad: It's okay. I mean, the entire family living under one roof is--how can I put it? Uh...
Stefano: Unadulterated bliss. [Chuckles]
Kristen: You said you were gonna be waiting here for me when I got here.
I did the best I could.
Kristen: Let me have it.
I-I don't have it.
Kristen: What are you talking about? You told me that you had it!
I did, but then a cop spotted me on the way over here. He started tailing me, so I threw the drive off the pier, you know, to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Kristen: Are you sure they didn't see you do that?
Yeah. No, nobody saw. Look, I know you don't want anyone to see you with me, so I'm gonna go.
Kristen: Wait a second. Wait a second. Was it in the river? You're sure it's in the river?
Totally. I swear. Look, I would never make problems for you or your family, never.
Kristen: All right, fine. Just get the hell out of here and pretend you never met me. Ugh! Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. It's just a little piece of plastic, and it's at the bottom of the river, right? Who's gonna find it there?
Marlena: Wow. Maybe we should just wait for daylight.
Nicole: Oh, come on, we could get lucky. And if we do, we could be saving Brady from a life with Kristen.
Marlena: Well, that's if your--your theory's right.
Nicole: Uh, do you have a better one?
Marlena: Uh, no, I don't. Really? Are you afraid to get dirty? Do you want to find this thing?
Eric: [Sighs]
Brady: Hey. Hey, you didn't happen to find--
Eric: Come in. That's what you were looking for.
Brady: Thank you.
Eric: Uh, you're welcome.
Brady: I keep my whole life in this thing.
Eric: Yeah, well... hey, you know, you were in a pretty good mood when you left here.
Brady: Why wouldn't I be in a good mood? I got my brother, who's agreed to marry me to the love of my life. I'm in a great mood.
Eric: Yeah--
Brady: But, listen, I'm not gonna say anything about it at the party tonight.
Eric: Good, because I still have to find a way to tell mom.
Brady: [Sighs] All right. You're coming tonight?
Eric: Absolutely.
Brady: All right, I'll see you there.
Eric: Hey, listen, Brady... you got a minute?
Brady: Yeah. What's up? Is it about Kristen and me?
Eric: No, actually... it's about Nicole. Hi. Are you Karen?
Stefano: Abigail, how good to see you. Mwah. You look lovely.
Abigail: Thank you.
Stefano: I cannot tell you how happy I am that I finally got this guy to live in the house that he's supposed to live in, you know? I mean, family is everything. Don't you agree?
Abigail: Yeah. Yeah. Uh, you know, I'm gonna get some water. My throat's feeling a little dry, but...
Stefano: All right.
Abigail: Enjoy the party.
Stefano: Ah, I will. [Sighs] Did I say something wrong?
Chad: No, don't worry about it.
Stefano: You know something? Every time I come in here, I like it more and more and more. You're doing a really wonderful job.
Chad: It's all Sonny's doing.
Stefano: Yeah, well, you know, are you making a profit?
Chad: Of course. We're already in the black.
Stefano: Uh-huh. Well, I'm very impressed.
Chad: Thank you. Um, excuse me. I'm gonna go check on Abigail and make sure she's okay. I'll catch you later, all right?
Stefano: All right, sure. Okey-doke. [Sighs]
Chad: I hope he didn't upset you with that family talk. He was just running his mouth.
Abigail: It's okay. I mean, the whole town knows that my family is basically a train wreck, so...
Chad: Well... at least we've seen my dad and talked to him. The worst is over.
Brady: What about Nicole?
Eric: Do you happen to remember how her mom spelled her name? Was it with an "e" or not?
Brady: No "E." F-a-y, no "E." Eric, what difference does it make?
Eric: I-I was gonna do something in her memory, and I just didn't want to misspell her name.
Brady: Oh, Nicole would appreciate that. She and Taylor were a wreck when Fay died. [Chuckles] Fay and Nicole were just starting to get close again at the time too.
Eric: Yeah, thanks. That's... 'that's good to know. Listen, I don't want you to be late for the party.
Brady: Okay. You'll be there?
Eric: Yeah.
Brady: All right. See you.
Eric: Fay Taylor... whoever you are, I think you really know what happened to me that night.
Nicole: Oh, come on. This is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Marlena: I know. This thing could be anywhere. [Sighs]
Nicole: Yeah, maybe Kristen's stud doubled back and picked it up himself. Hey... you're not giving up, are you?
Marlena: Oh, I don't have any choice. Tonight is Sami and EJ's engagement party.
Nicole: Well, I guess my invitation got lost in the mail. Anyway, uh, is Kristen gonna be there tonight?
Marlena: I'm afraid she will.
Nicole: You know, that thief really could have hurt you. How can you stand socializing with that bitch knowing she hired him?
Marlena: Well, that will not be easy. Part of me will be struggling to keep her from finding out that I'm onto her. The other part will be desperate not to put my hands around her throat and kill her.
Nicole: I do believe I underestimated you.
Marlena: [Chuckles]
Joanna: Mmm, nothing like mac and cheese, right? Mmm, mmm, mmm.
EJ: Harold, have you seen father?
Harold: No, sir. He said he'd see you at the party.
EJ: I see.
Harold: There are some martinis on the bar, sir.
Sami: Whoa. Huh.
EJ: Thank you, Harold.
Sami: That is a good idea. Thank you, Harold. Wow. I can't believe we're gonna be partying with Stefano at a party hosted by my mother.
EJ: Mm-hmm, and my sister.
Sami: Who hate each other.
EJ: Mm-hmm, at a club owned by my half brother.
Sami: And my son's boyfriend.
EJ: Ah, it's a family affair.
Sami: Yes, a family that makes the Manson family look like the Waltons.
EJ: [Laughs]
Sami: What happened to our portrait?
EJ: Oh, let me show you.
Sami: Show me what? He's selling it on eBay?
EJ: Uh-huh. Well, apparently he's giving the proceeds to charity.
Sami: [Sighs]
EJ: Since the only charity father knows is himself, we'll have to wait and see what that means.
Sami: Who's gonna buy a picture of two people they don't even know?
EJ: You would be surprised. Bottoms up.
Sami: [Chuckles]
EJ: Time to go.
Sami: [Groans] [Laughs] Okay, do I look enthusiastic? I'm ready.
EJ: One night, that's it. Then we have the rest of our lives to look forward to.
Sami: [Exhales sharply] Okay.
Marge: "Dear mom... and daddy... I don't know how to say this..." [Sobs] "All I know is... I can't go on... not without Joe... not after what they all did to him and to us. I know you'll take good care of Timmy. And someday when he's old enough, maybe you can tell him what really happened. And maybe he can forgive me... for what I had to do." [Crying] No... not like this.
Abigail: What are you looking at? Whoa. What's he doing here?
Chad: I'm not sure.
Cameron: Hey. I guess I'm early. Um, EJ invited me, in case you guys were wondering.
Abigail: You're Lexie's brother, and it's a family party.
Chad: Uh, we're glad you're here, yeah.
Abigail: Yeah.
Cameron: You know what? Before things really get going, Chad, do you have a couple minutes--
Gabi: Hey, guys.
Abigail: Gabi.
Cameron: Hey.
Abigail: Hi. It's so good to see you.
Gabi: Good to see you. I'm sorry I'm late.
Cameron: No, it's okay.
Chad: Wait a minute--you guys are here together?
Cameron: Yes, we are.
Gabi: Yeah, well, I love Arianna to death, but I needed a night out with, you know, grown-ups.
Chad: Okay.
Abigail: Well, I'm not sure I qualify.
Chad: Well, you two have a good time. Um, I'm gonna go downstairs and see if there's enough champagne. You want to help me count bottles?
Abigail: Yeah. Why not?
Chad: All right, let's go.
Eric: [Exhales deeply]
[Keys clacking]
Nicole: Hi.
Eric: Hi.
Nicole: So you're still working?
Eric: Uh, yeah, just, you know, catching up. How are you?
Nicole: I'm fine.
Eric: You seem a little worked up.
Nicole: Yeah, I mean, I guess I am. I-I've been interviewing people, you know, for a possible replacement, so...
Eric: How's that going?
Nicole: Yeah, there's some that are okay.
Eric: Just okay?
Nicole: Well, I have a few more interviews tomorrow. But I promise I will find you the perfect person, and I will do it quickly.
Eric: Are you in that much of a hurry to get out of here?
Nicole: I am. I just, uh-- I just came to pick up a few of these resumes, you know, and some of my personal things. And I will see you later. Oh.
Eric: Oh, here. That's your mother, isn't it?
Nicole: Yeah. It's a really-- it's a really great picture of her. I should get a frame for that. [Chuckles]
Eric: You really miss her, don't you?
Nicole: Every day. I think I told you that, um... we didn't always have the best relationship.
Eric: Yes.
Nicole: You know, when she came back to Salem, I was with EJ. Boy... [Chuckles] She really hated him. She finally became the... protective mother that I've always wanted. When I was finally able to really tell her that I loved her, she was taken away from me. I had a really hard time keeping it together. I did some... some stupid things... most of which I've already told you.
Eric: Most?
Nicole: There are things that I couldn't even tell you.
[Easy jazz music plays]
Caroline: Oh. Looking for someone?
Marlena: Oh, hello, there. I'm looking for, yes, your granddaughter-- the lady of the day. I guess she hasn't gotten here yet.
Caroline: Ah.
Marlena: Shall we? Yes.
Gabi: You know, I thought she was gonna love mashed bananas, but then every time I put the spoon up to her face, she does this. I'm sorry. I thought that that was funny.
Cameron: No, it--
Gabi: I feel silly. Sorry.
Cameron: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Gabi: Are you still thinking about that phone call you had about your patient?
Cameron: Yeah, yeah, that's pretty much it.
Chad: So I was thinking maybe tomorrow I could pick you up after your last class, and...
Abigail: And?
Chad: Uh, we could go for a drive or something-- you know, talk.
Abigail: Yeah, that sounds great.
Chad: Good. Oh, the party's gonna get bumpin'. My sister just showed up.
Abigail: Uh-oh.
Chad: Mm.
Kristen: Thanks, honey. Uh-oh. My co-host beat me here. There's gonna be hell to pay later.
Brady: I think we need a drink.
Kristen: Yes, we do.
Stefano: Well, well, well, well...
Kristen: Hello.
Stefano: There's my beautiful daughter.
Kristen: Mm, papa.
Brady: I'll be right back.
Kristen: Okay.
Stefano: Ah, it's been a long time since we had a family party like this, huh?
Kristen: I know. We should be having a party for you, though-- all the DiMeras living under one roof. You're back in charge, just like I knew you would be. You win all the marbles.
Stefano: I usually do.
Kristen: Yeah, well, guess what. It runs in the family. Come here.
Caroline: You've been antsy ever since you got here. What's going on?
Marlena: Nothing.
Caroline: Oh, baloney. You cohosting this party with that piece of work means something is cockeyed.
Marlena: Excuse me a second.
Sami: [Laughing]
[Applause]
Sami: How long do we have to stay here?
EJ: I told you we should have had another martini before we left the house.
Sami: [Laughs]
Eric: For what?
Nicole: I didn't expect to see that picture. It just... brought up some major memories for me.
Eric: Nicole... don't ever, ever apologize for feeling something. I'm glad that you and your mother were close at the end.
Nicole: Me too. Taylor and I--we worked stuff out too.
Eric: You stay in touch?
Nicole: I never told anyone this, but... if the baby I lost would have been a little girl, I wanted to... name her after my mother and my sister... Fay Taylor. [Chuckles] Classy, huh?
Kristen: Well, now, this is amazing--all the DiMeras under one roof, and the place has not imploded yet.
Chad: I took out extra insurance, just in case.
Kristen: Oh, smart guy.
EJ: That is a good idea.
Chad: Hmm.
EJ: Father's here. You never know what he has up his sleeve.
Kristen: Oh, don't be ridiculous. He's fine. Oh, well, I'm gonna go check on my guests. Excuse me.
EJ: Well, the place looks fantastic.
Chad: Why did you invite Cameron to this party?
EJ: [Laughs] Abigail's your date, isn't she? You two are spending some time with one another?
Chad: Yeah.
EJ: Okay. That's why I invited him. I wanted him to see how things are. Trust me, brother... I know what I'm doing.
Caroline: You two make a very handsome couple.
Gabi: Oh. Mrs. Brady, this is, um, only our first date.
Cameron: Yeah.
Caroline: Well, you see you do right by this girl, or you will hear from me.
Cameron: Yes, ma'am.
Caroline: Mm-hmm.
Gabi: I didn't know you two knew each other.
Caroline: Know him? I stuffed a $10 bill down his pants.
Gabi: [Laughs]
Caroline: Excuse me. I need a drink.
Gabi: Oh. You're never gonna live that down, are you?
Cameron: Believe me, I know. I know. Hey, hey, can I ask you to do a favor for me?
Sami: Mom, hey.
Marlena: Oh, honey.
Sami: I caught you, finally. I wanted to say thank you so much for all of this.
Marlena: Well, you also have to thank my co-host, because Kristen had a lot to do with it.
Sami: Yeah, yeah, I heard. You two are now besties?
Marlena: Yeah, shoot me.
Sami: Mom, thank you. I can't believe that you actually planned all this with her.
Marlena: And I can't believe that you're going to be her sister-in-law.
Sami: Mom... thank you for being here and for your support. It means the world to me.
Marlena: I just want you to be happy. You deserve that after all you've been through.
Sami: I love you so much.
Marlena: Oh, honey, I love you so.
Sami: I think I should probably go socialize.
Marlena: Lovely, darling. Oh! [Sighs] Ooh!
Nicole: Did I say something wrong?
Eric: Uh, no. I was just thinking about you and having to deal with the loss of a child.
Nicole: Yeah, I really went off the rails after that. But it was a lot easier than... dealing with the fact that I'd never have a little Danny Rafael or Fay Taylor in my life. Eric... what is wrong? I know something is.
Kristen: Is something wrong? You seem kind of upset.
Marlena: Oh, no. No, not at all.
Caroline: Roman called. He said that you were robbed. Why didn't you say something?
Kristen: Yes, why didn't you say something?
Marlena: Well, um, because the guy just wanted my purse, that's all.
Caroline: Well, roman said they didn't catch him.
Marlena: No, no, but I have my purse, and I'm just fine.
Caroline: Is anything missing?
Marlena: Uh, no, no, everything's there. My--my wallet and all my credit cards are there.
Kristen: I guess it's your lucky day, huh?
Marlena: Yes. It is my lucky day.
Kristen: All's well that ends well.
Marlena: Mm-hmm.
Kristen: Cheers.
Marlena: Yeah.
Chad: You know, it's kind of cold out here. You want my jacket?
Abigail: No, no, it's okay. Why don't we go back inside? You wanted to get back to the party anyway.
Chad: Well, I was--I was worried about you.
Abigail: I'm okay.
Chad: Seeing Cameron with Gabi?
Abigail: You know, Cameron has the right to date whoever he wants.
Chad: Mm-hmm. One of your best friends? To me that's kind of--
Abigail: What?
Chad: Grimy. I don't know.
Abigail: Hmm. You know, Melanie was one of my best friends too, and you asked her to marry you.
[Door opens]
Abigail: Stuff happens.
Chad: Uh-huh.
Gabi: There you are. I forgot--I wanted to tell you, I have so many pictures of Arianna I want to show you on my phone.
Abigail: Oh, great. Yeah, I'd love to see.
Gabi: Can we go inside, though? It's freezing out here.
Abigail: Sure.
Gabi: Let's go. Okay. They're so cute.
Cameron: Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Chad: I'm just going back inside.
Cameron: You know, why don't you stick around for a little bit? Let's talk.
Brady: Are you sure?
Kristen: Yes. Follow my lead. Come on.
EJ: Are William and Sonny on their way?
Sami: They are. Will wanted to put the baby to bed himself. He did not want the sitter to do it.
Kristen: That's so cute. Well, please, enjoy the rest of your party.
EJ: Are the two of you leaving?
Kristen: Yeah. Yeah. Duty calls. You know, what can we say? Marketing is trying very hard to come up with a new campaign by the end of the week, and I feel like I should be there.
Sami: Gee, well, we, uh, hate to see you go.
Brady: Yeah, we have to leave too, but as she said, duty calls.
Kristen: Yeah. But we couldn't leave without telling you we're so happy for you both.
EJ: Thank you. That's so sweet of you. I can tell that Brady's just overcome with well wishes.
Kristen: Oh. Well, you went through hell, and now it's behind you, and you never have to think about it again with that trial, huh? If you're seeing spots before your eyes, it's time
Eric: The thing is, I'm just curious about something.
Nicole: What?
[Telephone rings]
Eric: Excuse me. Hello? Yes. I'm terribly sorry. I'll be there right away. Yes. Okay, good-bye.
Nicole: What happened?
Eric: Uh, Jake McBride--he had a motorcycle accident, and his sister said he had a massive head injury.
Nicole: Oh, my God, he just graduated high school.
Eric: Yes, well, he's on life support right now, and they're just waiting for me to get there.
Nicole: Do you want me to go with you?
Eric: No, just stay here.
Nicole: Okay.
Eric: I'll see you later.
Nicole: Take care. What is he trying to get at? And why does he keep asking me about my mother?
Kristen: I mean it. I'm very sorry about this. But, uh, EJ, could you do me a favor and just tell Stefano that I'm leaving, please?
EJ: No, you can go and tell him yourself.
Kristen: Well, that's not very nice. Maybe I'll just let him find out after the fact, huh?
Sami: Well, that's always the best policy.
Kristen: Right. Who needs a lecture on how not to try to get out of family obligations, right?
Sami: Especially when you are, in fact, getting out of a family obligation-- not that I'm stopping you.
Brady: Okay. All right. Congratulations, you two.
Kristen: Yes, and enjoy the party that I threw for you.
Sami: Thank you.
Kristen: Jeez. Excuse me.
Brady: Hey.
Kristen: So I know the back way out of here, okay?
Brady: You don't have a marketing emergency.
Kristen: No, I know.
Brady: You took care of that before we left. What are you up to? What are you doing?
Kristen: I think this is a swell party. But if it comes down to me having some time alone with you or being at a swell party, I'm gonna take being alone with you every time.
Brady: Let's go.
Chad: What's so important that you have to talk to me about it right now?
Cameron: Listen, I'm onto you.
Chad: On to me how?
Cameron: Because you've been lying about the treatment you're supposedly getting. You're lying because you're lying about having a brain tumor. Your medical condition is all one big lie.
Kristen: You don't look very happy. What was that call about?
Brady: Ah... remember how you faked that work emergency to get out of the party?
Kristen: Yes.
Brady: I have a real one.
Kristen: Mm, how big?
Brady: Head of the west coast division is being indicted by the S.E.C.--No biggie.
Kristen: Oh. Well, there's nothing you can do about it till tomorrow, right?
Brady: That would be right.
Kristen: I used such a great excuse to get out of the party, and I'd hate for it to go to waste. You know, I've never felt so loved before. I needed to be alone with you because there's no better feeling in the whole world, Brady.
Brady: I love you.
Kristen: I love you.
Joanna: So, after I drop parker off at your mother's, I'll stop by the hospital. Yes, and I will bring the flash drive too. It's no trouble, Dr. Jonas.
[Utensil tapping glass]
EJ: Uh, if I could have your attention for just a moment... thank you. Thank you all for coming. Samantha and I just wanted to say a few quick words. First of all, a thank-you to my brother for holding this in his wonderful new venue.
Sami: Mm-hmm.
EJ: Isn't it fantastic? Secondly, I have heard a rumor there is some cake on the way, so please save some room. Most importantly, we would like to thank my sister, Kristen, and Samantha's mother, Marlena, for throwing this party to celebrate what has to be the happiest time of my life. To be here with my friends and my family... with this beautiful woman by my side... is truly a dream come true. I love you, Samantha. You and our children make life worth living.
Marge: My two boys... my world... I'm so sorry.
