Episode #12002 ~ EJ Comforts Sami After Her Argument With Rafe; Abigail Refuses to Forgive Chad

EJ: (Imitates roaring engine) So, how did you enjoy your first monster truck show?
Johnny: It was way cool. I wish Mommy could've come too.
EJ: I bet she wishes she could've been there, but she had a big wedding to organize.
Rafe: Will took her to get an abortion. And had my sister not protested, there wouldn't even be a baby right now.
Sami: Oh, you have no idea if that's how that happened.
Rafe: Oh, face it, Will wanted the baby gone.
Sami: What? She is the one who was searching for abortion clinics on her computer. She looked up that information, and whatever happened, she clearly dragged Will along with her.
Rafe: Oh, dra--really? So Will's the victim in this?
Sami: I didn't say that. There is a lot we don't know, but what we do know is Gabi was calling the shots.
Rafe: And you know what else we know? That my sister would never have even thought about terminating her pregnancy had Will not said he wanted nothing to do with the baby.
Sami: [Scoffs]
Marlena: John, please call me back right away. We've got to talk about this... Kristen business, this whole awful mess. Please call me.
Abigail: How could you?
Cameron: How could I what? What are you talking about?
Abigail: What am I talking about? I'm talking about the truth, Cameron, about Nick and Gabi. It all came out at the wedding. Oh, please, don't look so shocked. You've known this whole time that Nick isn't the father of Gabi's baby.
Cameron: [Sighs]
Will: I thought I was doing the right thing... that somehow this was gonna be the best thing for the baby.
Lucas: I know. I understand that. I do, but as soon as that baby was a reality, you would've felt differently, but I understand what you're saying.
Will: You know, I've been having nightmares... where I... I see my son... and I can't touch him. I can't have anything to do with him. I can't be--I can't be close to him.
Lucas: I know, I know. Listen to me for a second, okay? This is a good thing that happened. It's a good thing that this came out. It was gonna happen eventually, and now you don't have to go along with this--this stupid agreement. You would know, man. You would know immediately, in your heart of hearts, as soon as you became a father... there is no way in hell you could ever turn your back on your own kid.
Will: Yeah. You're right. I-I couldn't.
Lucas: So it's a good thing that it happened now. You can be there right from the beginning... I mean, the moment that baby is born.
Chad: Hey.
Sonny: I can't believe you're showing up here after what you did.
Chad: Sonny, I am sorry, okay? I didn't know it was gonna turn out like this, I swear. You have to believe me, okay?
Sonny: Yeah, well, I don't.
Chad: Look, I had no idea that Will was the father of Gabi's baby, okay? I just knew it couldn't have been Nick's. If I would've known that Will was the father, I would've kept my mouth shut. I never would've done what I did.
Sonny: But you did! You stood in that church, and you ruined people's lives... DiMera. You think your lame apologies mean anything to me or to anybody else? The truth is out, and there's no going back.
Sami: All of a sudden, Gabi has nothing to say. You don't know what was going on inside my son's mind.
Rafe: Oh, okay, so I am supposed to feel sorry for Will.
Gabi: [Crying] Please, stop. Both of you, please, stop.
Rafe: How many chances did Will have to tell you the truth about the baby?
Sami: Oh, that is not what this is about.
Rafe: Oh, no? Well, then, what the hell is this about? Will is the one that took her to the abortion clinic. We found him there. Why didn't he tell us what was going on then? Why didn't he tell us the truth?
Sami: I don't know!
Rafe: Well, I do know...
Sami: Of course you do.
Rafe: Because he didn't want the baby then, and he doesn't want it now.
Sami: You're wrong. Will kept it a secret because of your sister.
Rafe: Gabi didn't do a damn thing.
Sami: She lied. She lied about everything. I treated you like a daughter. I did nothing but help you and comfort you and support you. I planned your entire wedding, and this is the thanks I get? You lie to me, and you try to take my son's child from him?
Rafe: Sami, Sami, this is not even about you.
Sami: Oh, the hell it isn't! It is about me. That is my grandchild... so it is about me...
Rafe: Mm-hmm.
Sami: And it is about my son.
Rafe: Oh, you mean the son who didn't want to have anything to do with the baby?
Sami: You don't know that.
Rafe: Oh, really? Do we not know that? I mean, if he'd have given a damn, do you think that we would be here right now? No, he would've taken responsibility for it in the beginning, but he didn't.
Sami: He probably couldn't, okay? He probably couldn't, because she probably didn't give him a choice!
Rafe: Mm-hmm.
Gabi: No, no, no, no, no. That's not true. Look, the night I found out I was pregnant, the first thing I did was tell Will. I went out, and I looked for him right after I got out of the hospital.
Sami: Well, I'm not sure why we should believe you. You lied to a priest. You told Eric that Nick was the father.
Gabi: Ask him! Ask Will, okay? I told him that I was pregnant, and I told him that you knew, but that you assumed that it was Nick's baby.
Rafe: Okay. And what did Will say?
Gabi: He said that we shouldn't tell anybody about the baby until we figure things out.
Will: What kind of role model can I be, really? I mean, I look at my own family, and...
Lucas: And what? What, you didn't get enough love when you were little? Your mom and I didn't do our damndest to make sure you could find your way in life? We didn't do that?
Will: I'm just thinking about all the custody battles with me in the middle. I'm thinking about being shipped off to live in Switzerland with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Austin.
Lucas: You know exactly why we had to do that.
Will: Yeah, because Mom didn't want me around anymore.
Lucas: That's rude. Your mother never wanted to do that. Your mother had to sacrifice for you. She had to do that for you at the time.
Will: Now I'm gonna hear about all the sacrifices that you made for me. Thanks, okay.
Lucas: Yeah, you know what? Maybe you do need to hear about all the sacrifices that we made for you, and stop feeling sorry for yourself. We don't do that in this family. We stick together. We have never, ever turned our back on you, not once. I mean, really, what more do we have to do? What more do I have to do to prove how much I love you? Man, I went to prison for you!
Chad: The last thing I wanted to do was to hurt you or Will.
Sonny: Will managed to do that all on his own.
Chad: All right, look... I heard Gabi admit to Cameron that Nick wasn't the baby's father, okay? That's--that's it.
Sonny: What'd she say?
Chad: Nothing. She just wanted to make sure that Cameron wouldn't tell anyone, and as her doctor, I mean, he really couldn't.
Sonny: So she never said that Will was the father?
Chad: No. There's no way that I could've known that Will got Gabi pregnant.
EJ: What did you just say?
[Door closes]
Sami: So Will asked you to keep quiet about your pregnancy. Did he ask you to get an abortion, Gabi? Did he?
Gabi: No.
Sami: Okay.
Gabi: But I thought I should maybe because he didn't want the baby.
Sami: He said that to you, because I don't think my son would say those words.
Gabi: I mean, he didn't have to tell me. All right, when I went to go tell him I was pregnant, he had just gotten together with Sonny, okay? And they were happy, and he thought that maybe this baby would destroy any chance he had with Sonny, and you know what? Honestly, I was in no position to raise this baby all on my own. So, yes, I thought that that was the best option for me at the moment.
Rafe: And Will agreed?
Sami: [Scoffs]
Gabi: Will--I needed the rest of the money for it, and so Will asked Sonny and... and--and his dad.
Sami: Sonny and Lucas knew?
Gabi: No, no. When he asked for the money, he said it was for something else.
Rafe: Well, I think it's pretty clear that Will wanted this baby out of the way so he could be with Sonny.
Marlena: Wait a minute. Chad interrupted the ceremony?
Abigail: Yes! He stood up in the middle of the ceremony and said that Gabi's been lying about who the baby's father was. It was awful, and he knew about it the whole time, Dr. Evans.
Marlena: But wait a minute. How did Chad know about it?
Abigail: Because he overheard Cameron and Gabi talking about it.
Cameron: Wait. No, no, no. Let's get this clear, Abigail. What Chad heard was a private conversation.
Abigail: So? That doesn't change the fact that you knew, Cameron.
Cameron: But what I knew was protected by doctor-patient confidentiality.
Abigail: Oh, please.
Marlena: No, no. Cameron's right. If somebody crossed a line here, it was Chad. Whatever he knew or thought he knew, it was no way to handle it, and he had no right to speak out at the event. It was cruel.
Cameron: And not to mention it was illegal.
Marlena: You know, John and I counseled Gabi and Nick for their Pre-Cana. We felt they were very much in love.
Abigail: Well, I'm not surprised they didn't tell you.
Marlena: Really? Why?
Abigail: [Sighs]
Marlena: Really? Why?
Abigail: Oh, you're gonna find out sooner or later. The whole town practically knows already.
Marlena: Knows what?
Abigail: The baby's father is your grandson. It's Will.
Will: I'm sorry. I-I know that you have made so many sacrifices for me, and I'm not being grateful.
Lucas: You know what? No one's expecting you to be grateful, okay? I mean, we were your parents, and that's what parents do. They sacrifice for their children. And I know you had it rough growing up, man. I know that. I did my best, though.
Will: No, you just-- you did just fine.
Lucas: I did just fine? Really? I must've done something wrong. I mean, why didn't you tell me about this?
Will: Well, there's-- I thought that-- ah, it's stupid, but I thought if you knew everything, then maybe you would kind of hold on to the idea that I was straight.
Lucas: What? No, no, not at all.
Will: You sure?
Lucas: No, man, I'm positive. Look, I've been going to PFLAG meetings, okay? I'm trying. I really am, and I know that this isn't your choice. I know that people are either born gay, or they're born straight, but that doesn't mean that, you know, when two people hook up, you know, they can't make a baby if circumstances present themselves. But it's gonna be a hard road for you. Yeah, no kidding, man. It's not gonna be easy, but we'll be there for you. Your family's there for you 100% all the way. I mean, you do know that, don't you?
Will: I do. I do... more than you know, Dad. Thank you.
Lucas: I love you.
Will: I love you too. [Sighs] Well, I'm sorry, but there's somebody that I need to see.
Lucas: Yeah, go. Go. I understand.
Will: Okay.
Lucas: It's gonna be all right. You score little Victories every day.
EJ: Sonny, would you do me a small favor and make Johnny a hot chocolate?
Sonny: Yeah, or, uh, Johnny can make it.
Johnny: Yeah!
Sonny: You want me to show you how? Come over here.
EJ: William is the father of Gabi Hernandez's baby. Would you care to explain that to me?
Chad: It's crazy, right?
EJ: You came across this information how exactly?
Chad: Well, I, uh-- I overheard Gabi admit to Cameron that, um, Nick wasn't the father... so I called her out on it in front of the whole congregation.
EJ: What? You interrupted their wedding?
Chad: Yeah!
EJ: What is this exactly? Is this payback for what she did to you and Melanie?
Chad: Well, you should've seen the look on her face when I stood up and told everyone the truth about her.
EJ: What exactly did you say?
Chad: I just told everyone the truth--that Nick wasn't the father of the baby.
EJ: [Sighs] So wait a second. So it came out later that William was the father.
Chad: Yeah. Yeah.
EJ: You realize Samantha must be devastated.
Chad: Well, she was pretty shocked, and, well, Rafe--he went totally ballistic, so...
EJ: Yeah, I'm sure.
Chad: Look, I just--luckily, everyone realized that I was telling the truth, you know? That it was Gabi who was the lying bitch.
EJ: Look at you. You are very proud of yourself, aren't you?
Chad: Look, I just--I still feel bad for Will and Sonny and Abigail. She invited me to the wedding to be her date--I mean, come on, after what I did to her?
EJ: Really? She's not upset, is she? I mean, I can't imagine why. You only made a scene at her good friend's wedding and then probably ruined the lives of several of her friends.
Chad: I got to go. I got to find her.
EJ: [Sighs]
[Door opens, closes]
Marlena: No, there's got to be a mistake. Will cannot be the baby's father.
Abigail: It's not a mistake, Dr. Evans. Will said it himself at the church in front of everyone. I'm sorry. I know this is upsetting for you to find out this way.
Marlena: I've got to go. Excuse me. Excuse me.
Abigail: [Sighs] I'm sorry for going off on you earlier.
Cameron: Um, listen--
Abigail: No, you listen, Cameron. None of this is your fault, and I shouldn't have blamed you. You didn't do anything wrong, okay?
Cameron: [Sighs] I need to step out for a few minutes. Page me if you need me.
Nurse: Got it.
Johnny: Will!
Will: Hey. What is up? Are you--that looks good. Are you headed home?
EJ: Hey, William.
Will: Hi.
EJ: Well, I hear you had a really bad day. [Chuckles]
Will: It could be worse.
EJ: Look, William, if there's anything that I can do for you, and I mean that--anything-- you let me know, all right?
Will: I will. Thank you.
EJ: Come on, sailor. Let's get going. Come here. Listen to me. It doesn't seem like it now, but these things will work themselves out... all right?
Will: Yeah.
EJ: Okay.
Sami: For the last time, Rafe, stop pinning this on Will.
Rafe: Your son wanted her to get rid of the baby.
Sami: The hell he did! Gabi played him to get what she wanted.
Rafe: Oh, she played--really? Do you really think that your son is that weak, that he is so easily manipulated? You know, the bottom line is, all he had to do was tell the truth, and that baby would be in his life. He didn't, though, did he?
Sami: No, and neither did Gabi. She was prepared to pass that child off as Nick's forever.
Gabi: It was Nick's idea.
Sami: What?
Gabi: Look, when you told him that I was pregnant, that's why he was upset, because he already knew that it wasn't his. It was too soon. And I explained to him that what happened between me and Will was nothing. It didn't mean anything, and I know it sounds weird, but he understands. He loves me so much that he is willing to accept this baby as his own.
Sami: Yeah, after he steals it from my son.
Gabi: No, we would never even consider that if we didn't think that Will was on board.
Rafe: So Will agreed to lie, to say that he wasn't the father of the baby, yes? Yeah, well, that worked out well, didn't it? See, that way Will could still have Sonny and get rid of her and the baby.
Sami: I swear to God, you have got to stop twisting this to make Will a bad guy, and you, I swear to God, you had better keep in mind that you are not keeping that child from me.
Rafe: That's enough. Enough, Sami. Enough.
Sami: Oh, yeah, it is enough.
Rafe: Yeah, it is.
Sami: And that little bitch had better not try to pull anything, or she will answer to me.
Eric: What is going on in here? Sami!
Rafe: She's leaving, that's what.
Gabi: [Crying] Rafe. [Sobbing]
Rafe: [Smooches]
Gabi: [Sighs]
Rafe: Okay, huh? You sure? What about the baby?
Gabi: I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just... Father Eric... I am so sorry for lying to you. I mean, the way all of this played out--I mean, I just wish it hadn't come out this way, in this awful, awful way.
Nick: It's my fault.
Gabi: [Whimpers] [Sobbing]
Chad: Oh, hey! Whoa, whoa, Abigail.
Abigail: No, I have nothing to say to you, Chad.
Chad: Look, I know what I did to you was wrong. I know you're mad at me, but, please, just don't think that I used you.
Abigail: Chad, I am not stupid, okay? I know exactly what you were thinking. You only came to the wedding with me so you could hurt everyone I care about.
Chad: Look, I know what I did to you was horrible, okay? But this wasn't planned, I swear.
Abigail: Well, if it wasn't planned, then why didn't you just use some restraint? God.
Chad: Just wait, wait, Abig--
Abigail: No, stop! Let go of me!
Cameron: Chad, Chad! You heard her. Let her go.
Sonny: What?
Will: I just want a chance to explain things.
Sonny: "Things"? You mean your lies? Is that what you want to do? And how exactly are you gonna do that, Will... with more lies?
Will: I think that if you-- if you really listen to me, I can explain, and you can understand.
Sonny: You know what? Why don't you explain it to someone who can actually help you?
Will: I guess you heard the news.
Marlena: I heard the news. You okay?
Will: Not really.
[Cell phone ringing]
Will: Sorry. It's Mom.
Marlena: Oh, take it. She won't stop.
[Ringing continues]
Will: I'm sorry. [Sighs] Hey, Mom.
Sami: Oh, thank God. Listen, I just have to check out, uh, Sydney and the kids and the sitter, make sure it's all right, and then I'm gonna come find you, and we can talk. Where are you?
Will: You know, tonight's not really a great time.
Sami: No, of course it's not great, Will, but don't you think this is sort of urgent?
Will: Not tonight, Mom. Please?
Sami: Are you with Sonny?
Will: No, I-I-I'm with Grandma Marlena, and I'm a little... just wiped out, so... can we talk tomorrow?
Sami: Okay. Yeah. Yes, of course we can. Will, I, um... I love you.
Will: I love you too.
[Keys jingling]
Sami: [Sniffles] EJ.
Gabi: Nick... look, I am not gonna let you blame yourself, okay? Because we were doing what was the best thing for the baby.
Rafe: But it wasn't the best thing... nor was it the right thing. I need you both to understand that.
Gabi: I don't get it, Rafe. I mean, you of all people, I think, would never judge us for what we did.
Rafe: No, no, no. Hey, hey. This isn't about judging you.
Gabi: No, but you just said that what Nick and I did wasn't the best thing or the right thing, but-- but then you explained to me when you were claiming to be the father of Nicole's baby that you were doing that for the baby, to give it a decent life. And so now you're telling me--
Rafe: Right, right, right. So you thought that the lie that you and Nick were telling was justified because of what I did? 'Cause of the example that I set? Okay. For the record... I did set out to do the right thing. And I thought pretending to be the father of Nicole's baby was going to protect that baby. But I know now... that a lie like that, even with the best intentions... to pretend to be a father or... with someone else's child, it's just not right.
Gabi: [Sniffles]
Rafe: I'm sorry.
Gabi: [Crying] I need you so much, Rafe. [Sobbing]
Rafe: Hey. I'm always here, of course. All right?
Gabi: Uh-huh.
Eric: Why don't we give Nick and Gabi a minute to be alone together?
Rafe: Okay. I'll be in the rectory. Don't leave without telling me.
Gabi: Okay, okay. [Sniffles] Okay.
Rafe: Okay.
Gabi: [Sniffles] [Sobbing] Nick... everything is ruined. I'm sorry.
Nick: Listen to me.
Gabi: [Crying]
Nick: Do you still love me as much as I love you?
Gabi: Of course. Of course, I love you.
Nick: Then nothing's changed. Nothing's ruined. There's no way Chad can hurt us.
Gabi: [Crying]
Chad: This isn't any of your concern, Cameron.
Cameron: Listen, if you don't take your hands off Abigail now, it'll be your concern.
Chad: I wasn't gonna hurt you.
Cameron: Well, haven't you done that already? Hmm? And just so you know, if you ever eavesdrop on another private conversation between me and one of my patients again... you'll regret it.
Chad: You don't know the whole story.
Cameron: And I don't want to.
Chad: Look, Gabi's secret needed to be exposed.
Abigail: Oh, my God, Chad! Unbelievable. You don't regret what you did at all, do you?
Chad: The only thing that I regret right now is that I hurt you and Will. I'm sorry.
Abigail: Oh, my God! He is unbelievable. He's such a jerk.
Cameron: Yeah...
Abigail: [Sighs]
Cameron: He is.
Abigail: Is your shift over?
Cameron: No, um... actually, I'm still on duty, but... I needed to find you.
Will: Bottom line is, though, that I lied to you. And I just lied to everybody.
Marlena: I love you so much. And I have so much faith in you and your kindness and your strength.
Will: Do you have any idea what I should do now?
Marlena: Well, as I said, I have a lot of faith in you-- faith that you will sort this out. And whatever you do, you're not alone. You'll have your mother and your father and me... to be there the whole time, seeing you through this.
Will: Yeah, but what about Sonny, though? Nobody can help me with Sonny.
Marlena: Listen to me. Talk to him. Tell him how you really feel. And don't try to force anything. You know relationships are complicated. Well, even the best ones aren't always smooth. I love you. You need to be kind to yourself.
Will: Thank you. I literally love you so much, like--
Marlena: I know. I've got some work to do.
Will: Okay. [Sighs] Okay, okay. [Sniffles]
EJ: So I saw Will earlier.
Sami: You did? How did he seem? I mean, I-I called him, but he, um--he didn't want to talk, well, at least not to me. So what did he say?
EJ: Nothing, really. But he seems to be hanging in there. I just told him that, uh, if he needed any help, he shouldn't hesitate to ask--anything at all.
Sami: Thank you.
EJ: You know the same goes for you, right?
Sami: I do know that. But you have no idea how much it means to me to hear you say that.
EJ: Come here.
Abigail: If you're mad at me for losing it on you before, I understand. And, um... I really am sorry.
Cameron: It's not that. I'm not mad at you.
Abigail: Oh, okay.
Cameron: Actually, I just wanted to say I think it's great. The way you're so fiercely protective of your friends, it's--it's admirable.
Abigail: Well, thank you. But, you know, you really didn't need to track me all the way across town just to tell me that. And if Emily saw us together, I wouldn't want her to get the wrong idea.
Cameron: Emily and I-- we're... forget about it. I got to get back to the hospital.
Abigail: Okay.
Cameron: Hey. Even if you came by just to yell at me... it was nice seeing you.
Gabi: I guess we should take these off. [Sighs]
Nick: Just for now. I still want to marry you, Gabi. More than anything, I want that.
Gabi: You do?
Nick: And I want to raise this baby with you.
Gabi: [Crying]
Nick: And I want to have more kids of our own. I want to build a family.
Gabi: How? I mean, Rafe and Sami are so upset with me. I mean, I don't even know what Will's thinking.
Nick: I don't want you to think about any of that, okay?
Gabi: How can I not think about it, okay? Everything that we were counting on, it's all over now that the truth is out.
Nick: Gabi, stop, stop. Look at me.
Gabi: [Cries]
Nick: The only thing that matters is that I love you. I love you. And you love me. And I promise you that there's no way anybody is gonna stop us from being together. And no one can stop our love.
Rafe: Oh. Okay. So Gabi and Nick are fiercely committed to each other? So what?
Eric: They love each other, Rafe.
Rafe: Okay. What about all the lies, hmm? And how about the fact that Gabi's about to give birth to-- [Sighs] a child that's not even Nick's. I mean, do--
Eric: Rafe, let me--
Rafe: You remember that, right? Okay, I know. I didn't set a good example with the whole Nicole thing, which you obviously know about.
Eric: That you pretended to be the father of Nicole's baby in order to protect them both from EJ. No, that wasn't a good example for them to both see.
Rafe: No. No, it wasn't. But I will say this, once the truth did finally come out, things started to work out for everyone.
Eric: Meaning that Nicole found her way again... and you found your way back to Sami.
Rafe: [Scoffs]
Eric: Did I say something wrong?
Rafe: No, no, no, no, no. No, that was true.
Eric: "Was"?
Rafe: Yeah, till I saw Sami's true colors today.
Sami: I mean, the whole thing has blown up. It's a disaster. And the fallout is gonna affect the rest of Will's life. And he was just finally happy with Sonny. I-I don't want him to lose that.
EJ: Samantha, they're going to be fine. They will get through this.
Sami: Really? EJ, when did you become such a Pollyanna?
EJ: Well, look at the two of us, okay? I think it's fair to say we've put each other through hell and back. And yet, we've always managed to work through our differences.
Sami: [Sighs]
EJ: Okay, why don't you sit down and tell me what else is bothering you?
Sami: It's Rafe.
EJ: Okay, what about Rafe?
Sami: Well, he's determined to blame this entire thing on Will. Like, in his mind, Gabi wasn't even there when the child was conceived. He must imagine that she was at the mall buying bubble gum.
EJ: Okay, look, Samantha, I know William. He's a pretty decent chap, right? He has a big heart, and he has a conscience.
Sami: That's exactly what I said, and Rafe wouldn't hear it.
EJ: Well, I'm sorry.
Sami: I don't know. It's just ridiculous. I mean, I feel sure that Nick and Gabi pressured Will into this situation, and now... now the whole thing is just a big mess.
EJ: Well, look, it's not going to be a big mess. Hey, Samantha, look at me. We are going to be there for William. We are on his side, okay? We're gonna fight for him, and he's not doing this alone.
Will: [Sighs] [Clears throat] I am going to, uh... go by your place later tonight and, uh, get my stuff... 'cause I figure that you don't want me there tonight. One more thing, though... can you just look at me for a second?
Sonny: [Clears throat]
Will: I don't know how this is gonna play out. But I don't want to lose you over this.
Rafe: I thought that there was a chance that Sami and I could, uh... start over... reconcile, if you will. But after today, the way that she attacked my sister--
Eric: Well, everyone was extremely upset.
Rafe: No, you're right. They were, yeah. Of course, they were upset, but, uh... I tell you, I saw a side of Sami today that... it made me want to run in the other direction, okay? Fast. The way she defended Will after what he did? No. No, there is no way that Sami and I can ever get back together.
Sami: You have no idea how much it means to me... to hear you say that, to know that you are on my side, my son's side. I am so glad you're here.
EJ: I'll always be here.
Sami: I know. [Breathes deeply] I know. [Sighs]
Will: You don't have to say anything. I just want you to know... despite everything that's happened... I love you.
Sonny: I love you too, Will.
Gabi: How can we be together the same way? I mean, Will and his mom? You know, Sami flat out told me that she's gonna be a very big part of this baby's life. [Sighs]
Nick: Have faith in me, Gabi. We are gonna be together. And we can still have everything exactly... the way we want it.
