Kate: Thank you. I had to have my caffeine fix if you really expect me to stay awake while Madison and Brady drone on and on.

Ian: That's all right. We have time. We have lots of time before we have to meet with the happy couple.

Kate: So, tell me, does it bother you to see them together?

Ian: No. Not at all. I want Madison to be happy even if it's not with me.

Kate: Mm-hmm, so you keep saying. But I don't remember you ever being so magnanimous.

Ian: Yes, but what you are forgetting is since I've reunited with you and I'm madly in love, haven't you noticed, you bring out the kinder, gentler Ian?

Brady: [Sighs] Hi.

Madison: Hi.

Brady: I didn't know you were here already.

Madison: Oh, I just wanted to come by early, you know, before Kate and Ian got here to make sure that you're really okay with this meeting with Serge today.

Brady: Yeah. No, why wouldn't I be?

Madison: Brady, your father just died. I-I think anyone would understand if you weren't completely ready to dive right back into work.

Brady: Mm-hmm. Um... Madison, listen, um, about my dad. There's something I gotta tell you.

[Knock on door]

Nicole: Oh, EJ, please leave. J--

EJ: Hey, Nicole, just... I come bearing gifts. [High-pitched] Hello. I'm a chocolate bacon cupcake. Please let me in.

Nicole: Okay, that just bought you five minutes.

EJ: [Chuckles]

Nicole: What do you want? Oh. What do you want?

EJ: Uh, look... I thought that we should have a conversation about this baby now that...Rafe is gone.

Nicole: I don't know how Rafe's death actually changes anything.

EJ: First of all, let's just establish that we both know that this is my baby, not Rafe's.

Nicole: For the hundredth time, this is not your child and if--if this is what you've come over to talk about then time's up, that's it.

EJ: Okay, okay, okay, all right, let's just--let's say it is Rafe's. Okay? Hypothetically. The fact of the matter is, Nicole, he is no longer able to help you raise that child. So I thought that it would be a--

Nicole: You thought that you could just step in and take over, right? Am I never going to get this through your head? You know what, maybe I should write it down for you, EJ. I want absolutely nothing to do with you! You see that? Nothing.

Rafe: Hey. Marlena says you have a new plan you guys wanna discuss.

John: Yeah. Donovan's setting up the arrangements, we don't have a lot of time. Where's Carrie?

Rafe: Upstairs taking a nap.

Hope: Marlena can fill her in on everything later.

Rafe: Okay, so what's the plan?

Bo: The ISA learned that an international arms dealer by the name of Vladimir Nevsky just happened to be in town.

Rafe: Huh. Oh, gee, I wonder who he's here to visit.

Bo: We've also learned that Stefano is using the money that was stolen from John's company to pay for illegal arms.

Rafe: So Stefano's setting up a deal with Nevsky? Do we know where and when so we can bust him?

John: No. Can't afford to nose around for the information. Not enough time; too risky.

Bo: If either of them know that we're following them, investigating them, they'll back off and we'll lose our opportunity to nail Stefano.

Rafe: Right. So what's the plan?

Bo: The four of us go undercover. We meet with Nevsky, outbid Stefano.

Hope: The minute Stefano hears someone is trying to horn in on his deal, he'll contact Nevsky.

Rafe: Then he falls right into our trap.

John: We bust him in the act. Put him in prison for illegal arms deals and we live happily ever after.

Will: This isn't actually how I wanted to tell you guys, but... well, you should know that--that it's the truth that I'm gay. Hello? You wanna...like, say something? Like, you can say "I accept it," "I hate it," or whatever. Can you...just say... something, though?

Sami: I don't understand. Why would you say that you're gay?

Will: Because it's true. Because I am.

Sami: What? I mean--you're not. You're not. I'm your mother. I would know if you were, and you're not.

Will: Yeah. Actually, most of the guys I talked to about coming out said th--their mother always knew, but, um, I didn't expect you to really. Because, you know, the only person you're interested in is yourself.

Sami: No, no, no. No, you--you don't get to turn this around like--like--like it's my fault that you have some crazy idea in your head that you're gay.

Lucas: Wait, whoa, whoa, we need to listen to what Will has to say, Sami.

Sami: Why? He's obviously--he's going through something, some sort of confusion about what happened with Gabi and everything he's been through the last couple of months. That's why he's doing this. He's confused.

Lucas: He's not confused, okay? He knows exactly what he's saying. He's trying to tell us the truth about himself. Come on.

Hope: I hate that most of Salem thinks we died in that explosion. But this ruse is already starting to pay off. I mean, Stefano never would have risked having Nevsky come to Salem if he knew we were alive, watching his every move.

John: I can't believe I'm even gonna say this, but I'm feeling pretty confident that if we can catch him red-handed, we have got ourselves an airtight case.

Bo: Yeah, but if we're gonna pull this off, we gotta move fast, before Nevsky and Stefano have a chance to make this transaction.

John: Well, Donovan's pulling money together and trying to set the meeting up right now.

[Phone rings]

Bo: Speak of the devil.

John: All right.

Bo: Hey, Shane. What's the good news? You gotta be kidding me. Hold on. Nevsky's refusing to meet with us.

EJ: Just think about what's best for this baby. Nicole, a child needs a father.

Nicole: I am always thinking about what is best for this baby, and I had a lousy father. He was pathological and he was sick and I would rather be alone, so thank you very much.

EJ: You know I'm a good father, Nikki.

Nicole: Doesn't matter, it's not your kid.

EJ: You know we're getting very close to the time when we are going to be able to have some sort of paternity test. This whole charade of yours is going to be over.

Nicole: It's not a charade. And you know what, I can't wait to have a paternity test so I can get you off my back!

EJ: I love you sometimes.

Nicole: No, no... no, you don't. I offered you a chance to have a future with me, to start fresh somewhere else and you turned me down, so I don't wanna hear how much you love me because you clearly do not!

Will: Um, thanks, Dad. Yeah, you're right. I--I wanted to tell you guys for a...a while, but I'm just, you know, I was afraid, and I didn't know how.

Lucas: I get that. Um...are you sure about this?

Will: Yeah.

Lucas: Well, how long have you known?

Will: I guess deep down I've always known. It just took me a long time to accept it. You know I--I was struggling... for a while, and I guess in some ways I still am, but... but, uh, you know, I do know that I am gay.

Lucas: Well, um, are--are dads supposed to know too? Because I--I gotta be honest, I didn't see this coming. Um, I'm kind of in shock myself.

Will: No, it's okay. Um, I mean, you were in China, so...you weren't even here. Mom was here. Just mentally checked out for my whole life.

Lucas: All right, you know what, just give her a break, okay? Let's just all set aside our issues and just talk about this, all three of us as a family. We can do that.

Will: Okay. Hey. Anything you wanna say? You're just kinda quiet so, um...that's not like you.

Sami: Uh, I just--I just can't do this right now. I-I-I-I can't--I can't talk.

Lucas: Sami, wait a minute. Where are you going? Sami, come on, get back here.

EJ: What you did, Nicole, was issue me with an ultimatum.

Nicole: Because you were blathering about how much you wanted to be with me. So I challenged you to put your money where your mouth is and guess what? You proved, once again, that your promises mean nothing. Just, I need you to leave. Please, just...just leave. If you love me as much as you say you do, you will...stop doing this to me, please, and just... just let me go. Let me find someone who loves me and won't hurt me the way that you have. After everything that you've done to me, don't you think I deserve that?

Madison: What about your dad?

Kate: Well, excuse us. Henderson let us in.

Ian: Oh, well, I see it's business as usual. Madison's hard at work and Brady, you're flexing your muscles. Are you going to a birthday party? I assume you're not going to the meeting.

Brady: You assume incorrectly. After I'm done "flexing," I'm gonna go to the meeting.

Kate: You don't think it's a bit soon?

Brady: No, no, no, my dad wanted Basic Black to be a success. That was his last wish so that's what I'm gonna do.

Ian: I was very sorry to hear about your loss.

Kate: He was a good man.

Brady: Thank you. I know.

Kate: Okay. Well, I am glad that you are attending, though. Serge's magazine is going to give the Mad World/Basic Black joint venture a wonderfully fabulous launch.

Madison: I really think it's genius, I mean, cosmetics and accessories sold together? One stop, new look.

Kate: Brady, I have to say, what is that putrid slime you're drinking?

Madison: It's disgusting, isn't it?

Brady: It is not disgu--it happens to be full of vitamins, it's got antioxidants in it, protein, good stuff. I have one every day. I'll make you one, Kate. I can mix you one up right now.

Kate: No. Seriously it's all right, I had coffee. Madison, do you have those printouts for the meeting?

Madison: You know what, in my haste to get over here this morning, I left them back at my hotel.

Kate: Okay. Then let's go get them. I'll drive with you and we'll discuss strategy.

Brady: I'm gonna get a shower. I will meet you all at the pub.

Ian: Well, I have a prior engagement, but I wish you all luck and look forward to seeing you all for the celebration.

Rafe: There any other contacts that we have to set up a meeting with this Nevsky guy?

John: Yeah, I may have someone. May put a good word in for us with Nevsky, after all, he owes me one. I saved his life once.

Hope: Can you get in touch with him fast?

John: It's worth a shot.

Bo: Only problem is you'll be revealing to him that you're still alive.

Rafe: Yeah, it's kinda risky.

John: Well, I think I can convince him to keep his big mouth shut.

Bo: You think?

Hope: Guys, guys. It's a risk we have to take. This is our one shot to get DiMera. We can't afford to pass it up.

EJ: You're right. I have made some mistakes. I hurt you very deeply, Nicole. Nobody's ever going to love you as much as I do.

Nicole: [Sighs] God help me, if that is true, I am really doomed.

EJ: Come on, we share a child together. We can be a family.

Nicole: I am so sick and tired of arguing with you, EJ. I'm really sick and tired. I need you to leave. Take these with you. Because I never, ever want anything to do with you again.

EJ: Not going to get rid of me... that easily. We share a child. There's nothing you can do about that. So we're going to be connected. Whether you like it or not.

Ian: Get a load of these antioxidants, Loverboy.

Brady: Yeah. Yeah. It's only gonna be a couple days. Well, I'm not--I'm not quite sure about that, but just--just hold my calls until then and I'll--I'll be in touch when I know more, okay? All right, thanks. [Sighs]

Bo: Hey, that's good news. No, no, no. Don't you worry. We're on it. Bye, man. Hey, John, your man came through for us. Shane is sending a van. We're meeting with Nevsky in an hour.

John: All right, perfect. Perfect. Let's go upstairs and fill the ladies in on what's happening.

Bo: You know, not all of us need to go.

Hope: What? No, no, no. Wait, don't. Don't do that, okay? Don't insult me by asking me to stay here while-- you're the one who's still recuperating. I want to bring DiMera down as much as you do.

Bo: Mmm. Okay. This Nevsky, he--he doesn't know what he's up against.

Sami: Oh, God. Look, I just don't wanna talk to you, okay?

EJ: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what did I do now?

Sami: Are you kidding me? You blackmailed my son.

EJ: Okay. I'm sorry.

Sami: You're apologizing?

EJ: Look, Samantha, if it makes any difference, I've really come to care a lot about William.

Sami: Yeah, well, you had no right to do something like that to him. Especially after everything that he has been going through. When he saw us together and everything he has been dealing with for the last couple of months, you know what? He has plenty to go through without dealing with that, okay?

EJ: What exactly is he going through?

Sami: Just, you know, just issues. Issues that he is dealing with.

EJ: What are you--are you talking about his sexuality? I mean, did he come out to you?

Sami: He told you?

EJ: No, of course he didn't tell me, Samantha. But I didn't even know that he'd admitted it to himself, but it's very clear the boy's been wrestling with some things for quite some time.

Sami: Really? 'Cause it was news to me.

EJ: How could it be news to you, Samantha? You're his mother.

Sami: You're right. You're right, I am his mother, and I had no idea. What is wrong with me?

Lucas: You okay?

Will: Oh, yeah. I don't even know why I'm surprised. I told mom I'm gay and she walks out on me.

Lucas: Oh, come on, Will.

Will: No, I get it, I get how she feels. Message received loud and clear.

Lucas: She's just in shock. All right, she just doesn't know how to handle it.

Will: I knew I shouldn't have told her, I knew. I knew she wouldn't understand.

Lucas: You know what, don't do that, don't jump to conclusions like that. Just let her digest the news for a bit.

Will: I know how she feels. She didn't--she didn't need to digest it. She was disgusted with me. She obviously didn't want to be in the same room with me. Anyway, what about you? What do you think?

Lucas: Well, uh, you know what I think. I-I said it before, it's just kind of a shock, that's all.

Will: Are you disappointed?

Lucas: You know what, to tell you the truth, yeah I am. I am disappointed.

Brady: Nikki Walker.

Nicole: Oh, hi.

Brady: Hey, how you doing? How's your, uh, bambino doing in there?

Nicole: Oh, we're, uh, we're okay. You know, except for the little run-in we had with EJ earlier, but...

Brady: Is that guy bugging you again? If he's bugging you again I can just give him a boom. I can break his face if you want me to.

Nicole: Oh, my gosh, no, no, please don't do that.

Brady: You know I can, you know I can, you know I can.

Nicole: Brady, uh, are you--are you okay?

Brady: I'm good. Why?

Nicole: Have you been drinking or...

Brady: Ooh. No, actually. No.

Nicole: I mean, 'cause, you know, no judgment from me. I've been depressingly sober since I found out about the baby, you know, so it's--I mean, it's--

Brady: Right, all I got going on--here's what I'm doing today. I got a meeting with some blowhard fashion editor in there, okay? But I'm thinking about having a couple of pops afterwards because that's the only way I'm gonna get through this day, all right? There he is. They're all in there. My party. Gotta go. I'll see you later, okay?

Nicole: Whoa, Brady, wait, wait, wait--

Brady: You look good, though, by the way.

Nicole: Thank you, but I--I don't think you're in any shape for a meeting, you know?

Brady: I'm in fine shape and I'm fine. What's wrong with you?

Will: Sorry to disappoint you, and, um...I guess I'll go.

Lucas: No, wait a minute. Don't go. Wait a minute. Just hear me out for a second, okay? I'm not disappointed in you, I'm disappointed for you.

Will: [Bemused chuckle]

Lucas: But that--there's a difference there. There is. I mean I see what's going on in the world and it's not--it's not gonna be easy for you to be gay. And--and it's not your choice to be gay, right?

Will: No. Of course not. I never wanted to be gay. I've been trying so hard to be straight. You know I've--I've been... I've been praying...every night to try to make these feelings go away.

Lucas: I'm sorry about that. I'm really sorry that you had to go through that alone. I mean, I had no idea what you were going through.

Will: No, it's not your fault. It just--it took me a long time to come to terms with it. And now that I have, I feel that there's nothing wrong with being gay...because it's just who I am.

Lucas: Well I--I'm glad. I'm glad that you feel that way.

Will: But?

Lucas: But I am you dad. And I worry about you, you know? I mean, I'm not stupid. I watch the news and I read and I hear about hate crimes all the time.

Will: I know, well I-I-if something happens, I can handle that.

Lucas: And I want you to be happy, you know? I want you to find someone you can share your life with.

Will: I can probably still do that eventually.

Lucas: No, I know, I know that. It's just...

Will: I know, it's just... right now I'm trying to focus on the people that I already love and, uh, after mom's reaction, not sure how many of those I'm gonna have left.

Sami: I feel like I'm the world's worst mother right now. I mean, I had no idea that my son was in that much pain. I thought--I knew he was angry about everything that had happened, but I had no idea that he was...struggling with his sexuality. I mean that--it never even crossed my mind.

EJ: I'm sorry if I made you feel bad.

Sami: I feel like an idiot.

EJ: Look, Samantha, you have to remember that you've been dealing with a lot lately and frankly, you've been keeping your own secrets. About Madison, about Kate, about Rafe, his asking for a divorce.

Sami: Is this supposed to be making me feel better? I realize that I have been going through a lot, but that doesn't matter in comparison to my son. My son is supposed to be the most important thing.

EJ: Your son is very good at keeping secrets. Because he takes after his mother.

Sami: EJ, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. I mean I have been the worst mother to him. I mean I think it's my fault that he's gay.

Vladimir: I understand you wish to speak with me.

John: That's correct, Mr. Nevsky. I'm Green. These are my associates, Mr. O'Toole, his wife, Charity, Mr. Garcia.

Vladimir: What brings you three and, uh, the lovely charity here to me?

John: Well, we hear that you have something to sell. Something that is of great interest to us.

Vladimir: Ah. And I'm sure you must have also heard that I already have a buyer for what you want.

John: Well, I wouldn't waste your time if I didn't think I was offering something much more substantial than the competition.

Nicole: Okay.

Brady: Come on. What?

Nicole: Why don't you just wait right here for a second, okay? I'm gonna go inside and I'm just gonna go get Madison. Be right back.

Brady: Why? I'm supposed to--I'm supposed to be in there.

Nicole: Just st--I have a fun idea, so just humor me for a second. Stay there.

Brady: Wow, this is fun. Fun.

Kate: So what we did is we came up with three distinctive looks. We've coordinated the makeup styles and the accessories and I think it's gonna be fabulous.

Nicole: Excuse me, everyone. Hi, I'm sorry to interrupt, but, Madison, can I, uh, speak to you for just a minute, please?

Madison: Oh, Nicole, we're just in the middle of a meeting here.

Nicole: I can see that. It's really important--

Brady: Everybody, hey! Sorry I'm late. Very sorry.

Nicole: Brady, I thought you were gonna wait.

Kate: Nicole, as Madison said, we are in the middle of a meeting.

Madison: So I'll catch up with you later, Nicole.

Brady: See ya.

Nicole: Okay...

Brady: Serge, Serge, how are ya? How you doing, man?

Serge: Hello, Brady.

Brady: Hello. Listen, you are gonna love this product line so much. I swear to God, you are gonna love it. It's gonna blow your ever-lovin' mind.

Serge: Hmm?

Brady: Right?

Lucas: Sit down. You, um, would you mind if I ask you something?

Will: Sure.

Lucas: Well, it's kind of awkward, I don't really know how to put this, but, um... what about Mia and Gabi? Did you have feelings for them, or were you just kind of pretending?

Will: Well I--I definitely thought I had feelings for them. Um, and I was happy, you know, for a while because I thought that if I had feelings for them it would mean I wasn't gay.

Lucas: Right.

Will: Uh, and I just, you know, I didn't want to be, I wanted to be like everybody else.

Lucas: So what changed things for you?

Will: Well, um, Mia cheated on me with Chad. And that was my fault, but, uh, I think with Gabi, I convinced myself that if I tried hard enough or whatever, I could make it work. But the longer I was with her, the more I realized that that was stupid.

Lucas: And that's when you ended things?

Will: No, I didn't have the courage to do that. Gabi realized something was wrong and she actually had to end things with me.

Lucas: Oh. Oh, I see. What about Sonny?

Will: Sonny's been incredibly supportive. And he really helped me and... uh, I don't know where I'd be without him.

Lucas: Well, I think it's great that--that you have a good friend like that, but it just kind of leaves me wondering, you know?

Will: Mm-hmm, wondering what?

Lucas: Well, are you together? Are you and Sonny a couple now? I mean, how does that work?

EJ: Oh, Samantha, come on, don't be absurd. People are born gay. you can't control whether they're attracted to a man or a woman.

Sami: Are you sure about that? Because he has been resentful of me for a long time. He always says that he can't count on me. maybe I did something. Maybe he feels like women can't be trusted.

EJ: You know that's not the case. Darling, um, if poor mothering made children gay, then all off Kate's children would be running around waving rainbow flags at pride festivals. Right?

Sami: You're right.

EJ: Okay.

Sami: [Chuckles] I'm just trying to make sense of this. I just don't understand.

EJ: I can appreciate that it's a big adjustment, but William being gay is hardly the end of the world. I mean, unless you're...uncomfortable with his sexuality.

Brady: To sum up my plan, it's basically two words, serge, okay? I'm talkin' about sales. Hmm?

Serge: Wait, that's only one word. What's the other?

Brady: [Imitates accent] Why do the French always quibble over details? Listen, listen, listen. I'm summing it up for you here. It's really simple. Pricing. We're going with pricing. All right?

Serge: I thought it was sales.

Madison: You know, I think what Brady--what Brady means to say is that we're gonna improve sales because we're undercutting the competition because they get two things for the price of one. They get cosmetics. They get accessories--

Brady: Yeah, not to interrupt you, but, um, honey, that's actual not what I was talking about, that has nothing to do with what I was talking about. Don't confuse the guy.

Serge: I'm afraid you've lost me. Uh, let's start over the whole--

Brady: We should start over.

Kate: Oh!

Brady: Whoa, whoa, sorry. Hey, oh! It's--it's a party now. It's a party. He can handle a little water. He's a big boy.

Serge: I can, but this jacket can't.

Brady: Yes, it can. Hey, I'm gonna buy you 18 of those jackets after the profits from this deal come through. Anyway, don't worry about it.

Serge: You don't need to buy another one. This is a one-of-a-kind jacket made specially for me by the designer--

Brady: [Imitates accent] Designer. Okay, we'll ask the designer to get you another one.

Madison: Could you please take Brady outside for me?

Nicole: Okay, I would be happy to.

Madison: So good.

Brady: I'm sorry, I apologize.

Nicole: Hey, Brady, Brady.

Brady: I apologized to him.

Nicole: Let's go do that thing I was telling you I wanted to do.

Brady: I'm sorry. It's gonna come out.

Nicole: Just relax.

Madison: I am so sorry that, that happened. I mean, Brady was just--I think he was a little nervous about the meeting.

Serge: I am not. Here's the bottom line. You and Kate are great. But Brady is clearly a liability. With him onboard, I can't support this project.

Will: Dad, um, Sonny and I are just friends.

Lucas: Yeah

Will: Just 'cause two guys are gay doesn't make them couple.

Lucas: Right, right. No, you're right. I realize that. It's just, you know, when I saw you guys at the coffee house together, I just assumed that maybe...w,

Will: That was the day when you said you didn't want people to get the wrong impression about me.

Lucas: Yeah, yeah, I did--I did say that, didn't I?

Will: That's okay. I mean...at the time it hurt because it made me think that.. you would think less of me if you knew I was gay.

Lucas: Right, uh, I'm sorry about that. I didn't--I didn't mean that the way it should. And I hate to admit it, but, um...when I saw you guys at the coffeehouse together, I kinda had a feeling you might be gay. Maybe I was just saying that to make myself feel better, to reassure myself.

Will: That it wasn't true. That I wasn't, because deep down you really hoped I wasn't, didn't you?

Sami: I am not homophobic, if that is what you are trying to say. I love my son. It doesn't matter what his sexuality is.

EJ: Okay. So then why are you having such a hard time and why did you walk out on him?

Sami: Because I was shocked. Okay, I should have known. You're right, I should have known, and I can't believe I didn't know and then I just couldn't--I couldn't stand there and face the fact that I was failing him again.

EJ: So your--your solution to this is to abandon him when he feels most vulnerable.

Sami: I didn't know what I was doing. All I heard was him...and what he was saying, and I heard his voice echoing in my head that... that I didn't know him at all. And that...I didn't understand and that I wouldn't be able to handle it, and he's right. Do you realize what I have learned about my son today? That I found out that he shot you in the back. I found out that Lucas covered for him and they both knew about it the whole time. I found out that you even knew and that you were blackmailing him all these months. Do you realize how much I have had to take in about my son this morning?

EJ: Look, Samantha. I can appreciate you don't feel very connected to your son at the moment. But you are missing my point.

Sami: How so?

EJ: This is not about you. This is about William, and right now he needs you.

Vladimir: I have been in this business a long time. Why haven't I heard of any one of you before?

Bo: We like to keep a low profile.

Vladimir: Hmm. Well, if you and your lovely wife are part of this large purchase, you won't be a low profile for long.

John: Does that mean that you're interested?

Vladimir: I'm willing to hear what you have to offer. But I warn you, I don't like games, and if I feel like you're playing a game, this won't end well for any of you. Not even for lovely charity.

Brady: I've gotta go back in the meeting; I've gotta go back in there.

Nicole: No, no, no, you're--

Brady: Was on a roll until the whole water thing.

Nicole: I total I understand that.

Brady: Fine.

Madison: Brady, what is going on? Are you drunk?

Brady: Why does everybody keep asking me that stupid question?

Nicole: I mean, he said he hasn't been drinking. I don't smell alcohol on his breath, I...

Madison: Then what's going on? Are you high on something?

Brady: Excuse me, excuse me. I've been clean for years. So stop with the accusations, all right?

Madison: Listen, I know that you've been really upset about your father. You're going through a tough time right now, but that was not acceptable. I mean, you just made an ass out of yourself; out of all of us.

Brady: Madison, hey. I'm fine. Don't worry about me.

Ian: Well.

Madison: What are you talking about?

Ian: How did the meeting go?

Madison: Oh, it's, um, Brady's not feeling well. Something's going on with him. Kate's inside. She's still finishing up. She's gonna close the deal. So why don't you and I--we'll go for a walk. I'm gonna fill you in.

Ian: What about Brady?

Brady: Brady's fine. Brady's fine.

Nicole: I'll take Brady home and make sure he's okay.

Madison: Okay. Ian.

Ian: Hope you feel better, old boy.

Madison: Come on.

Lucas: When I found out that you were my son, it was--it was the best day of my life. Really, it was the best thing that's every happened to me, but I mean, I gotta be honest with you... I didn't say to myself, "Gee, I hope my son grows up to be gay." I didn't say that. It's just--it's just not the kind of life I expected for you.

Will: Honestly, I had not expected it either, but it's just the hand I've been dealt. You and I have to learn that I can be happy playing it. That my life can be just as full and just as crappy as any straight person's.

Lucas: Exactly, that's exactly what I want for you.

Will: Okay. Thanks. You know, it's taken me way too long, but I can finally say that I'm okay with me being gay. Can you?

EJ: William is going through a lot, Samantha, and he really needs his mother right now. The question is, are you up to the job?

Sami: You have forgotten that Will hates me.

EJ: He doesn't hate you. If he hated you, he wouldn't have told you about this in the first place.

Sami: He told me because was mad. He was just trying to spite me.

EJ: Look, even if that's the case--

Sami: So what if I did have a chance and I blew it? What if I just blew it by walking out on him the way I did?

EJ: You need to find out. Go to William, Samantha, and listen to him. Listen, sweetheart.

Vladimir: Your offer is very generous. But my original buyer may be upset if I back out of our deal.

John: Well I believe that there's enough in here to compensate you for any trouble.

Vladimir: I was never one to pass up a good bargain.

John: Ah.

[Phone rings]

John: So do we have a deal?

Vladimir: I believe so.

Vladimir: [Speaks Russian]

John: Whoa. Hey, what the hell's this?

Vladimir: I am sorry, my friend, but your little game is over. I know who you all are and I know exactly what you're doing here.
