EJ: William. I have a job for you.

Will: Hello. Are you having me followed?

EJ: Uh, I was told you went on a cofferun. By the way, my assistant does not get coffee.

Will: Okay, what do you want me to do then?

EJ: I need you to keep an eye on Nicole.

Will: Oh, what kind of eye?

EJ: Well, I need to know exactly where she is, I need to know what she's doing, and I need to know whom she is doing it with, and, in particular, I need to know if she's making any plans to leave Salem.

Will: Sounds like a full-time job.

EJ: It is a full-time job.

Will: What about my school?

EJ: I think you'll have to take a leave of absence.

Marlena: I have an idea. Why don't you and your job take a leave of absence?

Billie: When do you think you're going to take Bo out of the medically-induced coma?

Daniel: You know, I don't know, Billie. I'm not sure, but his vitals are getting better every day, and the swelling around his brain seems to be decreasing.

Billie: Well, that's good.

Daniel: Yeah.

Billie: I just wish he would wake up and have Hope standing there. I just--I've left her so many messages.

Daniel: Well, I'm sure Hope's doing everything she can to get here. And luckily he has you.

Billie: [Scoffs] Yeah, you keep saying that, but I don't notice a difference.

Daniel: You don't? I do. I do. The nursing staff says that you're a pretty tough cookie when you need to be. You know, and I assured them you are a very nice, young lady.

Billie: Oh, are you flirting with me?

Daniel: Flirt? What? No. No. I wouldn't do that. Why would I do that?

Billie: Well, good. Because, as we've discussed, you're not the kind of guy I can take home to mama.

Daniel: Oh, you're not the kind of girl who needs her mama's approval.

Hope: We did it. We did it, darling.

John: And Stefano will never be the wiser.

Hope: Stefano's prize possession is our ticket out of here you and can buy a life and a place where no one shall ever find us.

John: I'm into that, Gina.

Lucas: You know, I should be mad right now.

Sami: But?

Lucas: But I'm not.

Sami: Because you know that I'm still in your head, just like you're still in mine.

Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, that's right.

Lucas: Hold on a second. Hold on., You gave me two children. And you'll always a part of my life, but right now my life and my fiancé are in Hong Kong.

Lucas: When are you in trouble? You know, whatever it is, you did it to yourself. Whatever it is, Sami, you got yourself into it. Now you got to get yourself out of it.

Abe: Sweetheart, let me have this. Are you okay?

Lexie: Oh. Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Just-- just a little dizzy. Whoo. I knew I should have eaten before drinking that cham--

Abe: Lex? Oh, Lex. Sweetheart. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Sweetie.

Sami: Wait a second. Don't walk away from me. Don't patronize me either. Look, you left for Hong Kong and left me to take care of the kids 24/7. Yes, it was easier when I had Rafe helping me, and, yes, I realize that it's not my fault that he's not here to help me now. But will is going through something big, and he does need you, and Allie needs her daddy, and I need you too. You're the only person who gets me.

Lucas: Yeah, I get that every time you have a relationship that falls apart, then you call me. You call min panic mode, and I'm supposed to drop everything, no matter what I'm doing in my life?

Sami: I didn't do that.

Lucas: You di--yes, you do do that. You've done that from the very beginning. I mean, Sami, if Rafe walked through that door right now and said he wanted to take you back, you'd do it. You'd be fine with that. I'd never he from you again.

Sami: I thought you were my friend.

Lucas: We are friends.

Sami: Then I need you now. I mean, I need an ally.

Lucas: Every man that helps you out you have a crazy tendency to fall in love with them. And I am not gonna do that again with you. I am not gonna do it, all right? That ship has sailed, so, you know what, if you want me to be your ally, fine, I'll be there for you, but we both have to agree that that's all it is.

Hope: What are you looking at?

John: That.

Hope: Who is she?

John: I don't know.

Hope: Well, if you do not know, why is it you cannot take your eyes off of her photo?

EJ: Do you allow your grandmother to resign your jobs for you?

Marlena: I just heard you order Will not to go to classes.

Will: Grandma, look, I can handle this.

Marlena: That was an order, wasn't it?

EJ: I don't say please or thank you to people who work for me. You still work for me, don't you, Will?

Will: Yes, I do.

Marlena: And his education is of primary importance.

EJ: We will schedule around your classes.

Will: Okay. Great, thanks.

EJ: Perfect. See? I do have William's best interests at heart. In fact, frankly, I'm beginning to think I'm the only person who does.

Marlena: I beg your pardon.

EJ: From my perspective, I think I'm the only person who's really allowing William to have the autonomy and the freedom that he needs to be himself.

Marlena: But we all know that your perspective is famously warped. Why don't you tell me what you mean?

EJ: Oh, Dr. Evans, I think you know exactly what I'm talking about, don't you?

Lexie: What happened?

Abe: You fainted. Just lie there. Lie still, okay? I'm gonna go get some help.

Lexie: No, I'll be fine.

Abe: Yeah, right, you were just taking a nap.

Lexie: Yeah, I haven't been sleeping well. I just felt a little dizzy, that's all.

Abe: Sweetheart, you were more than just dizzy. You were out cold., You were out cold. You have another headache.

Lexie: I'm better now. I'm better.

Abe: You know, if you were e of your patients, would you just let it go? I'm gonna take you to the hospital, and I don't want any backtalk.

Lexie: And leave Theo upstairs alone? No. No. No. I'm not going anywhere. Look, I'll be the laughing stock of the whole staff if I show up in an ambulance because of something like this. Just bring me some juice, okay? I'll be fine.

Abe: You wouldn't have to go in an ambulance. I'll drive you.

Lexie: No.

Abe: Look, Lexie, just tell them I'm a worrywart, huh? Just blame it on me. Sweetheart, listen. Listen, if you won't do it for yourself, then do it for Theo. I mean, what if you'd been here alone when you passed out?

Lexie: Okay, I'll tell you what. I'll get checked out when I go into work tomorrow, okay?

Abe: I have another idea. I'm gonna call Daniel Jonas, see if he'll make a house call.

Lexie: No, Abe, don't bother Daniel.

Abe: Save your energy for right now, I'm the doctor.

Daniel: So if I were to suggest that we reschedule our coffee non-date, would you be just interested?

Billie: I'm sorry that I had to cancel. Yes, I'm interested.

Daniel: That's great. I all right.

Billie: You know what we could do?

Daniel: Uh, you know what, hold that thought. No--really, hold that thought. Uh, Dr. Jonas.

Abe: Daniel, look, this is Abe Carver. I hate to bother you when you're of duty, but Lexie passed out.

Daniel: Is she okay?

Abe: She's conscious now. She says she's fine. Look, I'm wondering if you could come by and look her over.

Daniel: No, of course. Yeah, yeah, you--just keep her quiet until I get there.

Abe: I'll do my best.

Daniel: Yeah, good luck with that. I'll see you soon. I'm sorry about that.

Billie: Where do you have to go?

Daniel: Well, that was Abe Carver. Lexie passed out, and he wants me to go look at her.

Billie: Wow. Well, you better get going.

Daniel: Right, yeah, I should get--and I'll text you about the when and where on the non-date thing.

Billie: Great.

Daniel: Okay, see you later.

[Cell phone rings]

Billie: Agent Spencer? I'm glad you called.

Spencer: What have you got?

Billie: I don't want to talk about it over the phone, but what I have you're gonna want to see.

Marlena: All right, Mr. Mayor, what is it you think I know?

Will: Grandma, Grandma, I'm fine, okay? I'm okay with how he treats me, and if I'm not, I can handle it myself like an adult.

Marlena: Okay.

Will: Okay. Okay.

Marlena: Okay.

Will: Great, I'm gonna get some coffee. Do you want your regular?

Marlena: Please, my dear.

Will: Okay. Anything for you?

EJ: Nothing for me.

Will: Okay. And you're welcome.

Marlena: Okay.

EJ: Marlena, you may find this difficult to believe, but I care about William very much.

Marlena: What I find easy to believe is you care about yourself very much.

EJ: I think of him as being a little bit like a stepson. And I really only have his best interests at heart.

Marlena: But your best interest is different from the rest of the world's.

EJ: Let me put it to you this way. I want William to have the opportunity to be who he is without any fear of judgment.

Marlena: And who decides that? Do you or does he?

EJ: I think that you and I both know what we're talking about. Now if I was going to take advantage of that situation, I already would have done it. But I haven't and I won't.

Marlena: You know I hate the fact that Will's working for you. But he's a grown-up. He made his choice. And I have no choice but to give you the benefit of the doubt.

EJ: Thank you.

Marlena: You're welcome. He's my flesh and blood. Watch your step.

Abe: Sweetheart. Here you go. Orange juice okay?

Lexie: Yeah. That's great. Thanks.

Abe: Lex? Are you okay?

Lexie: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.

Daniel: Okay, here we go. You know the drill. Come on.

Lexie: Daniel, this is--

Lexie: Oh, goodness.

Daniel: Oh, goodness, yes. All right. Some deep breaths. Your heart sounds good.

Daniel: Anything besides the dizziness and blurred vision?

Lexie: Before I fainted, no.

Daniel: All right, look straight ahead.

Theo: What's wrong with mommy?

Billie: Spencer. Since when we you a jogger?

Spencer: Since never. Okay, what couldn't you talk about on the phone?

Billie: I'm sorry about the quality. I was working as quickly as I could.

Spencer: It's still easy to see what these are.

Billie: Our boy is dealing in illegal arms.

Spencer: So DiMera keeps stuff like this at his house.

Billie: Well, as soon as he finds out I'm an I.S.A. agent, he--he'll stop.

Spencer: Look at the date on these invoices..

Billie: I know. Right after the Basic Black corporate fund was drained, supposedly by John Black.

Spencer: I guess Stefano figured it wasn't too smart to put that money into CD’s. What about your mother? She suspect anything?

Billie: Oh, no, she's completely in the dark. She doesn't even know where Stefano is right now.

Spencer: Well, that's probably for the best.

Billie: I know. What about John and Hope? I have left hope so many I messages. She knows that Bo's in a coma, and, if she could get home, she'd be here.

Spencer: I haven't heard from John either. If DiMera's still in Alamainia--

Billie: John and Hope could be in real trouble.

Hope: Where did that come from?

John: I don't know. I just found it on the carpet.

Hope: Perhaps it belonged to the last person who had this room.

John: Perhaps, but this woman looks so familiar.

Hope: Before you saw that photo... you were very much... .. in the moment. I'm gonna go take a shower. There is room enough for two in there, darling.

John: Just a photograph. Doc?

Will: Scared him off, huh?

Marlena: Did my best.

Will: Grandma, you're not gonna do that again, are you?

Marlena: No. You made yourself pretty clear. I'm sorry if I embarrassed you.

Will: I don't know why people think they can just butt into my life. They forget that I've taken care of my mom and myself since I was a little kid.

Marlena: Tragically, that's true. Look, if it seems like I'm butting in, it's just because I'm...

Both: Concerned.

Will: I know.

Marlena: I know you know. I thought a lot about you since we talked.

Will: Yeah, me too.

Marlena: I think maybe I'm feeling a little overprotective.

Will: I don't need protecting.

Marlena: You're working for EJ DiMera. Please. Honey... are you working for him because he knows what you told me?

Will: Grandma, listen, I know you only want what's best for me.

Marlena: Mm-hmm.

Will: Right now, I think that is to, with all due respect, back off and just give me a little space.

Sami: So I came on too strong, huh?

Lucas: A little bit, yeah. You told me you love me and I was the only man for you?, Come on, that sounds like one of my old lines.

Sami: I'm desperate, okay? I'm sorry if I was a little bit over the top. I couldn't help myself. This is serious. Your mom is threatening to throw me in prison. You know she's not kidding about stuff like that.

Lucas: No, and it's time you actually did what she said you did.

Sami: This is no time for jokes. If I go to prison and you're not here, who gets custody of the kids? She does.

Lucas: Well, EJ won't let that happen, right? That's what you said. I mean, it is her stepson. Come on.

Sami: You're the one Kate will listen to.

Lucas: I told you, I talked to her already.

Sami: Come on, Lucas. Can't you just talk to your girlfriend and get her to come here?

Lucas: It's my fiancé. She's not my girlfriend.

Sami: Whatever. Okay, the point is have her come here. I'll be nice to her.

Lucas: Yeah, right.

Sami: You can spend time with her, get her used to Salem. Allie would love having you here, and Will really needs you. You don't want EJ being a father figure to him, right?

Lucas: No, I'm not gonna let that happen.

Sami: Please. It's so important for you to stay. The kids need you. I need you. I'm begging you.

Lucas: All right, I'll talk to her, all right. I'll to talk to Autumn about it.

Sami: Thank you.

Lucas: It's not a done deal. Not yet.

Sami: Okay.

EJ: Ah.

Sami: EJ, hi.

EJ: Did you know that your soon-to-be-ex-husband and my ex-wife are having a baby? Hey babe, thanks for goin' shopping.

Abe: Mommy's gonna be okay.

Lexie: Yeah, I'm okay, honey.

Theo: Then why is he here?:

Lexie: Well, I wasn't feeling well, and dad called him, but it's no big deal, okay?

Daniel: Want to come sit next to your mother while I finish the checkup?

Lexie: Yeah, come sit down.

Daniel: There you go. Come on over there.

Lexie: Good.

Daniel: All right. Okay, now I want you to look at the ceiling. There you go.

Abe: Well?

Daniel: I didn't find anything wrong.

Lexie: You see?

Daniel: But I would like you to clear your schedule and come in for a complete physical.

Lexie: Ugh! Daniel.

Daniel: I'll just run some tests to make sure you're okay. You're not gonna give me a hard time, are you? Are you gonna give me a hard time?

Theo: No. Right, Mommy?

Will: Okay, I've been around EJ for most of my life. And I understand that there are risks. But I made the decision that it's advantageous for me to take those risks.

Marlena: And I'm treating you like a 12-year-old.

Will: You said it.

Marlena: Yeah, well, I'm sorry.

Will: It's okay. I'm sorry. I'm rude. You know, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. I mean, I think we both know that you're the only person I can rely on. And I don't want that to change.

Marlena: I don't want that to anger her either.  You know, I did get a little bit concerned when you raced off the other night.

Will: Yeah, I got kind of trapped into going to a club with Gabi.

Marlena: Oh.

Will: But really I was frustrated and I felt a little claustrophobic, because I felt like people are lining up to tell me how to live my life. You know, Grandma Kate, Dad, EJ, Sonny.

Marlena: Me?

Will: Well, that's different, but what I'm trying to say is that when people are telling you how you should be comfortable with who you are, it makes it hard to be comfortable with who you are. Really hard.

Marlena: Well put. Wow.

Sami: If you're just saying things like that to upset me, don't worry. I'm already upset. Okay? You don't have to--

EJ: Samantha, listen, I'm not trying to upset you. Rafe and Nicole had a fling and now she's having a baby.

Sami: She can't have kids, right? That's the whole reason she stole Sydney.

EJ: Yeah, they're calling it a miracle conception.

Sami: They?

EJ: They. They. Rafe stood right in front of me and told me to my face.

Sami: Well, she's lying to him, right? I mean, she faked that pregnancy with you, and you always believe her when talks, right?

EJ: Samantha, I'm not just believing her. I took her to the hospital to get a paternity test.

Sami: She's really pregnant?

EJ: Yes, she's really pregnant, but that doesn't necessarily me that it's Rafe's.

Sami: It doesn't matter. The point is that it could be. This is--this is what we get, though, right?

EJ: What? Oh, come on, don't be ridiculous. I don't belie that for a second.

Sami: I do. I do.

EJ: Look, I'm--I'm sorry, okay? I shouldn't have blurted it out like that. It's okay. Co on.

Lucas: I'm sorry, I don’t mean to interrupt this tender moment.

Sami: You're not. You're not.

EJ: I just had to break some rather difficult news to Samantha, Lucas. Thank you.

Sami: No, it's fine. And I appreciate you telling me. Really.

EJ: You okay?

Sami: Mm-hmm.

EJ: I have an appointment I have to get to.

Sami: Thanks. Don't--okay, just don't start.

Lucas: At least tell me what he said.

Sami: It seems that Nicole is pregnant with Rafe's baby.

Lucas: With Rafe's baby? No.

Sami: Yes way. So I guess--yeah, it's really time, past time, for me to let go.

Lucas: Well, good. Good for you. To hell with him.

Sami: Based on how my day is going, I'm almost afraid to ask what-- what April said. Are you staying?

Lucas: Autumn is her name, and... yeah. Yeah, for now.

Sami: Thank you. Thank you.

Spencer: The best thing we can do for John and Hope is to get the goods on DiMera. That's why we brought you in-- to work your mother and see what you can find out.

Billie: Well, she's afraid that Stefano is after John's wife.

Spencer: So this is personal.

Billie: Yeah, it's always been personal.. Stefano left John and Marlena alone for a while, and maybe that was because he was happy with my mom. But now I don't know. Maybe Stefano got bored.

Spencer: Hmm. Maybe.

Billie: What about you? Any luck getting back into Alamainia?

Spencer: No, since Walsh was killed and the agency yanked me out of there, it's--well, I'm having a hard time getting a Visa approved.

Billie: In the meantime?

Spencer: John's all on his own.

Hope: Showers are quite boring when all you do is get clean.

John: Sorry about that.

Hope: What happened, darling?

John: Oh, I guess I got a little distracted.

Hope: I will bet... I know a way to get you to focus on something other than that photo.

John: Oh, the photo's not what's distracting me. It's this.

Hope: Our little nest egg. I bet Stefano must be going out of his mind wondering what happened to it. You are not having second thoughts, are you?

Lexie: Theo, you don't have to worry about me taking care of myself. I will, okay?

Abe: And I'm gonna call the hospital and have 'em clear mommy's schedule so she can do what Daniel says.

Lexie: And now it's time for you to go back up to bed.

Theo: Thirsty.

Lexie: Thirsty? Okay, daddy will get you a glass of water and then take you back up, okay, honey?

Abe: Right. Right, right. Come on, big man. Let's go. All right. Here we go.

Lexie: Look, I don't believe in prescribing unnecessary tests for patients, okay?

Daniel: Look, neither do I. Lex, come on. You know how scared I was when my hand started shaking. It seemed like the worst thing in the world. But you know what? I survived, and I wouldn't have done it without you. Come on. Come in for just a few tests.

Lexie: I know it-I--

Daniel: You promise.

Lexie: [Groans] Okay, fine. Fine. You win.

Daniel: I do.

Lexie: Of course.

Marlena: You know, Will, you're heading for your 20‘s.That's a very tough time for young people. You know, you're leaving home, and you're trying to become the person you want to be. It's hard for the people that love you also, because we're walking a very fine line. We're trying to give you support, trying to give you ace.

Will: The thing is, though, that do know who I am. And I figured out who I want to be. I'm just not ready to broadcast that to the world yet.

Marlena: [Chuckles]

Billie: I know that John and Hope are smart, and I know that they can take care of themselves, but what scares me is that neither one of them's been in touch.

Spencer: The agency has to be very careful trying to contact them. Alamainia's a pretty lawless place, and, well, no one wants John and Hope to go the way Agent Walsh did.

Billie: Well, what else can I do to help?

Spencer: Follow the money. Put pressure on Stefano. Make him have to come back to the States.

Billie: My mother would like that. You know, there's one thing that bothers me about these invoices.

Spencer: What?

Billie: It was too easy. Stefano would never leave : Evidence like that just around. He wouldn't. He would make sure he covered his bases before he left town.

Spencer: Someone's setting him up?

Billie: Well, that, or someone else is behind the arms deal. I mean, think about it. Stefano doesn't need to steal money to back an arms deal like this. He could finance it a million different ways.

Spencer: So you still think--

Billie: That EJ's behind all of it. Yup, I do.

Hope: Am I right? God, John. You are having second thoughts about running away together. This is everything. Everything we have dreamed of. You and me on a beach living it up with Stefano's money. After everything he has done to you, to me, how could you not want that?

John: All right, now listen to me. Listen. We're gonna have to be real careful here with this next step or--t or the other people that we love are really gonna get hurt.

Hope: Other people? What are you talking about?

John: I'm talking about your husband. I'm talking about Bo.

Marlena: All righty, I get it. This is your journey. You'd like to go it your own way.

Will: Yeah.

Marlena: But I'm always going to remind you that I love you and I support you. No matter what.

Will: Even if I'm a gay man?

Marlena: No matter what.

Will: Did you notice? I said I'm gay. See you.

Marlena: Yeah. I noticed.

Spencer: So you think the fact that Stefano has John and Hope cornered in Alamainia--

Billie: Has nothing to do with John looting the company's fund. It's EJ.

Spencer: You think the old man knew about it?

Billie: Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe EJ just stepped up. Wanted to knock Stefano off the throne.

Spencer: So EJ was perpetrating an international fraud while at the same time running for mayor of this town.

Billie: Well, it seems unlikely that he wanted to improve the lives of the good people of Salem, don't you think?

Spencer: In other words, the mayor thing was just a front.

Billie: Exactly. Look, EJ's got a posh accent and a law degree, but deep down he is no different than his father. And with Stefano off chasing John and Hope in Alamainia, that works just fine for EJ.

Spencer: Huh. We're gonna need more proof to convince the higher-ups.

Billie: I realize that. And I'm gonna get it.

Hope: John... you--you are the only man I ha ever loved. I do not even know anyone named-- what did you say his name was?

John: Bo...Brady.

Hope: Why are you doing this? Why are you saying all of this?

John: You remember anything about the last ten years? No. You don't remember anything, do you? And I'll tell you why. Because you we living another life in another town.

Hope: No.

John: Town called Salem.

Hope: No!

John: With a man named Bo Brady.

Hope: You do not know what you are talking about!

John: Damn it, Hope, please, you got to start to remember, because, if you don't, Stefano's gonna win.

Hope: What did you call, me? Hope? Who the hell is Hope?

Sami: Hey, did you call your fiancé?

Lucas: Autumn. Her name is Autumn. Again.

Sami: I'm sure it is. What did she say?: Is she okay with you staying? She was okay with it, right?

Lucas: Well, I mean, you know, she wasn't--she wasn't thrilled about it.

Sami: Well, how did you sell it to her? What did you say?

Lucas: I just told her that the mother of my children was going through a bad time right now an I had to be there for her, which is basically the truth.

Sami: Well, she came around, right?

Lucas: Well, she wasn't happy about it, but, you know, she misses me, of course I miss her, but she understands. She knows that's the way it has to be right now.

Sam I really appreciate you doing this, Lucas. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you--

Lucas: Stand on your own two feet, all right? Don't you be needing any man in your life.

Sami: Stop it. All right. You know what, after what I found out today, you're right. It feels pretty good.

Lucas: Want to get the rest of the boxes?

Sami: Yeah.

Lucas: Okay, come on.

Sami: Yeah, let's do it.

Lucas: Well, I don't believe it. What are you doing here?

EJ: Moving in.

Sami: You're... what?

EJ: Well, I own the building, so.

Sami: What about the fancy mansion that your dad owns?

EJ: You know, the fancy mansion has a bit of a reputation, so I thought it'd be better to--

Sami: [Laughs]

Lucas: Oh, change your reputation. Good luck with that. Don't you have a mayor's residence or something?

EJ: Oh, you've been out of town, you wouldn't know this. Well, Abe didn't wish to live here, and it had a tremendous amount of art in it, we turned it into a museum.

Sami: Of all the places in the entire city, you decided that you wanted to live in this apartment? That very apartment is gonna be the new mayor's residence?

EJ: It's across the hall from my children, Samantha. Anyway, I have to get going, but it's lovely to meet you, neighbor.

Abe: [Sighs]

Lexie: Mm. Theo's all settled in?

Abe: Yes, and your assistant will start clearing your schedule for tomorrow.

Lexie: You called her already?

Daniel: Oh, boy, here she goes. Okay, we might as well get this thing started. Um, I'll set everything up and don't have anything after 8:00 tonight. I want to do a fasting blood.

Lexie: I'm a doctor.

Daniel: I know you are, but also I need you to call me if you start to feel dizzy.

Lexie: I will. Here's your jacket.

Daniel: If she gives you any static, you call me.

Abe: Thank you.

Lexie: Get out of here.

Abe: Thank you, Daniel.
