Daniel: What?

Jennifer: I'm totally fine. Daniel, you are not gonna believe this! I'm fine!

Jennifer: All the massage that you did to my back, it worked. It popped back in.

Daniel: Really?

Jennifer: Yes! Yeah, so we can go to the spa, just like we planned.

Daniel: Okay, that sounds good, but are you sure now is the time to risk it, because...

Jennifer: Yes. Listen to me. And don't stop me. We are going to the spa. Do you hear me? We're gonna go to the spa, and we are gonna have the time of our lives, and you are not gonna cancel this trip.

Taylor: Okay, well, my mother had a secret, and it involved you.

Rafe: What're you talking--

Taylor: Something to do with you--she said something about it before she died. It's all jumbled up in my head right now, but--but--but she definitely wanted us to know something, something that you had done. And now her cam--

Sami: Hey. Taylor... what's going on? What are you doing here?

Taylor: You and Rafe have some explaining to do.

Jennifer: What about our room? Does it have a view?

Daniel: I'm not sure. Never actually been to this spa.

Jennifer: Okay, then it'll be a first for us... in every way.

Daniel: You know what, before we go--remember, your back just popped in. It could pop back out...

Jennifer: Uh-uh. It's not gonna do that.

Daniel: I mean, no, the trip's on, it's on. I just think we need to be you know, a little careful here. Okay, okay, here's-- you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna go put the passenger seat back as far as it will go. You can stretch your legs out. It's kind of a far trip. And I'll go get your suitcase.

Jennifer: Okay.

Daniel: Okay?

Jennifer: Okay.

Daniel: No lifting for you.

Jennifer: Okay.

Daniel: [Chuckles]

Daniel: All right. Sorry.

[Door slams shut]

Kate: Okay, I just spoke to Lucas. You're dating Daniel... after everything he did to your brother. Have you no shame?

EJ: She's gonna ruin my life? I mean, for heaven's sake, father, please. Taylor is the most compassionate, loving, caring--

Stefano: Oh, for goodness sake, would you please listen to yourself? She's already stuffed all this phony niceness down your throat, all right? This is not you, Elvis.

EJ: Oh. You've been talking to Nicky.

Stefano: Look, it doesn't make any difference who I've been talking to, all right? I'm right, and you know it. Who was the one that told you to get out of our business, huh? Taylor. And now you're telling me about--

Sami: Um, okay. Well, I'm not really sure what you and Rafe have been talking about, but--

Rafe: Well, Sami, Taylor thinks that this cameo belonged to her mother.

Sami: To Fay.

Sami: You think-- you think it's Fay's.

Taylor: She was wearing it when she fell down the stairs. And then afterwards, in all the confusion and everything, it was nowhere to be found. How do you two have it?

Sami: Well, I hit him with my purse, you know, to try to get away, and everything flew out, including this necklace. And you should've seen the way he was looking at it. I mean, he was staring at it. So you think that was your mother's...

Taylor: Okay, it's just what I said, all right? But somehow the two of you have it. What the hell is going on?

Chloe: Quinn, I don't understand this at all. You went to so much trouble to make a video just to trap me. Why? I mean, why me?

Jennifer: And you wanna talk about shame? Look in the mirror. Or better yet, why don't you just try being an adult for once, Kate? Do you know how many years I have spent trying to get past what you did to my family? But you know what? I did. I put it aside, okay? I was so tired of judging you.

Kate: Okay. Whatever happened between bill and Laura was a long time ago, and obviously that is dead and buried. What I'm talking about is now and the fact that you're dating a piece of scum like Daniel Jonas.

Jennifer: Don't you dare talk about him like that! He saved my life!

Kate: That was his job! Fixing hearts, that's what he does, but he also breaks them. I am trying to warn you here. He is an emotional vampire. He feeds on the vulnerabilities and the admiration of his female patients!

Jennifer: Get out of my house now!

Kate: Okay. All right. I'll be frank with you. I had him. It's not worth it.

Jennifer: You are disgusting! Do you know that you're disgusting? And I know what you did to Chloe and Daniel. I know that you poisoned her and you framed Daniel for it. You are not even human!

Kate: Okay, I'll tell you something, I'm not even gonna-- I've stopped. I've just stopped responding to those bizarre rumors. What I'm gonna tell you is that if you think this little fling is going to end happily, you're living in a fantasy world, because Daniel will not make you happy. He won't even try. He's gonna use you, and then he's gonna walk away. Do you know something? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe that's all you want is a little-- a little trip under the sheets. Daniel: Shut up!

Brady: [Sighs] Everything ready?

Mike: Yes, sir, Mr. Black. Are you sure this is what you wanna do?

Brady: Oh, yeah. I've never been so sure of anything in my life.

EJ: Okay, maybe, maybe, maybe you didn't hear me, father. This is not a negotiation, okay? Killing a man is off the table.

Stefano: And when he asks for his first blackmail payment, what then?

EJ: But, you see, that's it. He hasn't asked for any money.

Sami: I wear stuff like this all the time. In fact, I was wearing this yesterday.

Rafe: Yeah, you looked great in it.

Sami: Thank you, honey. So that's settled. And we're done here?

EJ: Fine. All right, look, I admit there are a few... problems with the living situation that just need to be worked out.

Stefano: Problems?

EJ: Father, come on.

Stefano: Hey. If you bring Taylor to live in here with Nicole, there's going to be blood in every room in this house.

EJ: Why can you only ever see one way of dealing with things?

[Phone ringing]

EJ: Hmm? One. Oh, for god's sake!

Stefano: What?

EJ: Those bloody Colombians. They still think I'm in charge of that shipment. I think there's some kind of-- great! Now I have to go and take care of this!

Stefano: Where do you go? We have not made a decision yet.

EJ: Yes, we have.

Stefano: [Chuckles] [Sighs]

Daniel: Jennifer, I will meet you in the kitchen. Don't worry about Kate. I will show her out.

Jennifer: Yeah, good luck with that.

Kate: So?

Daniel: Now, you shut up and you listen. You wanna spew your venom about me, you have at it, go for it. But don't you ever trash Jennifer like that. And you are never to come in this house again. Do you understand me?

Kate: Okay, so like I was going to say, I never had a chance to really tell you how happy it made me that Chloe not only ruined her life, but ruined your life as well.

Daniel: All right, Kate, not another word. Do not say one more word.

Kate: I will never, ever forgive the two of you for what you did to Lucas. And then Chloe went on to ruin Philip's life as well.

Daniel: You know what? Fine! Fine, you can hate anybody you want--me, Chloe... you wallow in it. Do it. I'm sure that's why you get up in the morning. But if you ever hurt anybody I care about--and that includes Jennifer--I will rip you into pieces. Now, are we clear?

Kate: Though, actually-- actually I think I was wrong, you see, because I thought you and Jennifer were total opposites, but you're not. You're exactly the same-- neither of you can face the truth.

Daniel: Get out.

Kate: She wants to believe that you are a decent human being, and you wanna believe that she can actually commit to someone after being with "jumping Jack" Deveraux. But the truth is, this is all going to end. It's going to end exactly the same way that it ended with Chloe.

Quinn: I'm waiting. Are you gonna do the job, or do I call Victor Kiriakis? [Sighs] You're boring me. And since I always come prepared, I've already put Victor in my phone. Time to say hello.

Chloe: No, please don't.

Quinn: Then it's settled. You're gonna meet the client, and you're gonna come through for me.

[Phone ringing]

Quinn: Ah, well, what do you know? It's your date. Show time.

Taylor: You know, may I see that cameo again?

Sami: Sure. Um, it's crazy that we have the same one. I mean, I got mine online at a jewelry shop I use all the time. Uh, it was wholesale.

Taylor: Well, it's amazing, because they are absolutely the same.

Sami: Huh.

Taylor: Thanks. Um, I'll call you, Sami, okay? Maybe we can have lunch?

Sami: I would love that. Absolutely. Great.

Taylor: Great.

Rafe: Later, Taylor.

Sami: [Sighs] I can't believe this. The creature, he did this. She didn't fall down those stairs. He obviously killed her. He killed Fay walker, and he stole her cameo.

Rafe: And if that's true, we have the answer to everything.

EJ: Guys, where are you?

Brady: Good evening.

EJ: [Clears throat] I'm on my way to somewhere, Brady, so as much as I'd love to stay and chat, I'm afraid I really just don't have time.

Brady: But you had time to worry about a drug shipment, didn't you? Ah, I sent the text. Oh, no, it's just you and me. Tonight's the night.

EJ: For what?

Brady: For you to pay the price.

Quinn: Don't do anything you'll regret, okay? He knows what you look like from the photo I showed him, so, um, he'll come in and address you as "Lola." At that point, you will smile that beautiful smile, okay?

Chloe: "Lola"?

Quinn: Mm-hmm. That's who you are from now on.

Chloe: Quinn, please. Don't you see? This is gonna ruin my life.

Quinn: Sure, I see. It's obvious.

Chloe: [Sighs]

Daniel: Wow, look at that. There's--look at that. We got a hot tub, massage-- anytime you wanna make an appointment--nature trails just past the golf course, and we got a pool, so...

Jennifer: You're still upset, huh? It was a pretty quiet ride up here. Kate pretty much rained on our parade, didn't she?

Daniel: Uh, yeah. Yeah, I guess she did, because she's this destructive, vindictive...person. And, uh, I don't know, it's just frustrating being around her. Right? I mean--well, anyways, it's nothing that a good long walk won't cure, right?

Jennifer: You know, I'm always asking you to be honest with me, but now it's my turn. I heard almost everything that you and Kate said... especially the part where she said that I would never be able to commit to anyone else again because of what Jack did to me-- listen--and I hope-- I hope that you give me the chance to prove that that is not true. No, let me finish. Look, I have no idea-- I don't know what's gonna happen between us. I have no idea, and you probably feel the same way.

Daniel: Yeah.

Jennifer: But I want to see where this goes. I'm serious about that. I care about you. I care about you so much.

Daniel: I know you do. And it's mutual. Look, I'm not trying to set any--any bar here myself. And I'm with you, let's just-- I mean, let's just see where it goes. Let's take a chance. And I know you're serious, or you wouldn't be here. And neither would I.

Jennifer: Yeah.

Daniel: You know?

Jennifer: Okay. So it's all good?

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, it is.

Jennifer: Then why are you so sad?

Sami: I don't get it. How is what the creature did to Fay walker the answer to everything?

Rafe: Well, I'm not sure yet. First we need to get our facts straight.

Sami: Okay. Okay, Taylor said that her mother was wearing the cameo that night that she fell down the stairs, so he had to have been there to steal it from her.

Rafe: Well, yeah, that's true, but we need more.

Sami: [Sighs] Okay. Well, I was with him when I found out that Fay had been rushed to the hospital, and he acted so weird about the whole thing. Like, he already knew, and he knew she was gonna die. And I'm the one who told him that the doctor said she might actually recover, and then he flipped out.

Rafe: All right, fine, but let's not forget the doctor said that she died of natural causes.

Sami: Well, obviously they're wrong. He must've done something to her, right? And he told me that he had to go on a stakeout that night and he was gonna be working all night long, so I went to the hospital to see Fay, and he was in her hospital room!

Rafe: Did he have an explanation?

Sami: No. He started yelling at me, like it was my fault for being there.

Rafe: So he was gonna kill her.

Sami: He totally was. He was hovering over her. I think he was gonna do something. And I don't know why he would've wanted to have killed her in the first place, but maybe she saw him push her down the stairs.

Rafe: So she could I.D. Him.

Sami: Oh, my god. I mean, why he would wanna kill Fay walker, I don't know, but I think he did! I think he killed her.

EJ: Wow, Brady, well, I'm thoroughly impressed. You managed to put a text message through to my private line. Impressive. Now, if you don't mind...

Both: [Snap fingers]

Brady: You know what? The minute I came back to Salem, I realized why Nicole lied to you, EJ. I got it. I understood. I mean, when you're dealing with scum, why not lie, right?

EJ: Come on. You're not seriously telling me that you brought me all the way down here just to talk about Nicky.

Brady: I wanna talk about Ari. I wanna talk about what you did to her.

EJ: What I did to her?

Brady: You remember a guy named troy Winston? You should. He was an employee of yours. He was the man that hit Ari with his car and killed her. Worked for you. In my eyes, that makes you responsible for her death.

EJ: Look, Brady... nobody was sorrier than me when Arianna died. I have done many things since then to honor her memory.

Brady: You didn't give a damn about her.

EJ: That's not true. I cared about her. And she cared about me. She was helping me when she died. Of course, you wouldn't know anything about that, would you, Brady? 'Cause you had nothing to do with her, because she didn't meet up to your standards. So now I have my memories of her to live with for the rest of my life, and you have yours.

Brady: You're gonna move on to Taylor now, huh? You're gonna screw up her life too? EJ, I'm not gonna let it happen.

EJ: You don't talk about Taylor in front of me. Do yourself a big favor, Brady. Put your bottle down and go home, 'cause we're done here. Ohh! God!

Brady: We're a long way from done, Elvis.

EJ: [Groaning] A foundation in your name and having you work with me-- I believe that is a path

Daniel: All right, I mean, since it's total honesty time, um, yeah, I'm not feeling all that great. But it's not because I'm sad. I'm just--it's that I'm angry.

Jennifer: I know. Because of all the things that Kate said about you.

Daniel: About me? Oh, hell no. [Chuckles] I mean, let's face it-- half of what she said is probably true. I mean, come on. What got me so angry is that she came over there today to hurt you because of something that I've done, and...

Jennifer: And you know what? She was right when she said that we are the same, 'cause I felt exactly the same way. You know, I can take Kate. I can take her poison any day of the week. But when she was saying all those awful things about you, all I was thinking is that I would do anything to find a way to stop her.

Daniel: Come here.

Rafe: I need to do something, something that could blow this whole thing wide open.

Sami: Okay, let's do it.

Sami: What?

Rafe: I have to do it alone.

Taylor: No. No, I actually never left. I was waiting in the stairwell, hoping that Rafe would leave.

Sami: Why would you do that?

Taylor: Because I know you're lying.

EJ: [Groaning]

Brady: Thank you, mike. I'll take it from here.

Mike: Mr. Black, are you sure?

Brady: Yeah. Go ahead. You can go.

EJ: [Groans]

[Breathing heavily]

Brady: [Sighs] How ya doing?

EJ: [Groans, coughs]

Daniel: So, you know, we-- what do we got? We got a hot tub, massage, uh... a nature trail, a pool. We could--or maybe we should stay away from anything physical, you know... like, uh, you know, tennis, golf, that kind of... till your back heals.

Jennifer: Yeah, that's good. That sounds good.

Daniel: Yeah. Uh, you know, we got a lot of time before dinner, you know. What do you think? Maybe we could just-- I don't know--just take a walk.

Jennifer: Actually, I wanna-- I wanna stay in this room... for a while.

Quinn: You two go way back, do you?

Kate: Uh, yes, we do. Not one minute of it good.

Quinn: Right. And with her in this new situation now, you can be sure that she'll never see your grandson again.

Stefano: Nicole was right. The only way this is gonna work... is to rip Taylor out of Elvis' life.

Sami: Oh, wow. Lying... I mean, obviously I'm no saint in that department, but this is sort of weird. I mean, we are still talking about my cameo, right?

Taylor: We are talking about my mother's cameo, yes. I know that piece, Sami. It has a scratch on the back. It happened years ago when I dropped it once.

Sami: Mine doesn't have a scratch. I didn't see a scratch.

Taylor: No? Well, I did. Not to mention the fact that my mother had a secret that she never got to tell. Apparently about Rafe. You think that maybe it was that she knew he was a thief and he was the one who stole her cameo?

Sami: Okay, look, Rafe has been under a lot of pressure--

Taylor: Okay, would you just cut the crap? He stole my mother's necklace, and you are covering for him with this "I bought it online" story!

Sami: I did buy it online. Rafe didn't steal it.

Taylor: Okay, fine. All right, well, just bring it out here, and let's look at it together. I will show you the scratch, and then we can figure out what we're gonna do about it, okay? Where is it? May I see it, please?

Sami: [Sighs]

Both: [Grunting, groaning]

Brady: [Breathing heavily] This is for what you did to me on Nicole's wedding day!

EJ: [Groaning, coughing]

Brady: This is for ruining Nicole's life the first time! Ah, you ruined her life a second time, didn't you?

Chloe: Rob. Um, well, this place isn't much to look at, but it makes some pretty decent drinks. I don't know if you'd like to buy me a drink?

Rob: No. You know what? I don't wanna wait. My hotel's right around the corner. Let's go.

Sami: Taylor, I... the cameo's not here.

Taylor: Well, where is it?

Sami: I'm not sure.

Taylor: Oh, my god. Can we please-- can we stop with the lies? Rafe took it, didn't he? God, will you talk to me? Rafe stole my mother's cameo, which she was wearing when she fell down the stairs. I wanna know what the hell is going on.

Rafe: You killed Fay walker. And I can prove it. So unless you wanna get the death penalty, you're gonna do exactly as I say. Guess what, bro? You and me, we're gonna be pals. We're gonna bring the DiMeras to their knees. [Scoffs]

Brady: Okay. All right. [Grunts] What do you think, hmm? One last shot ought to do it, huh? Huh? Yeah. It's too bad you're gonna be unconscious when the lights go out for good, EJ, and I don't like that. But you can't have everything, right? This one is for Ari. So you'd better get ready for your trip to hell, you old bean. You son of a bitch. Say goodbye.

Bo: What's wrong?

Rafe: You give me straight answers, or you get this.
