Sami: Hey, pumpkin, I know that Mia's your favorite babysitter, but I need you to be good for Missy, okay? Yeah, I think it really hurt her feelings that you ran away from her like that and didn't want to play with her. Yeah? You understand? Okay. If you're really good for Missy tonight, you and I, we're gonna go pick out a new car for you, okay?
Johnny: A pointy red nose one?
Sami: Yeah, a pointy red nose one. All right, you go have fun, okay? Great parenting, Sami. Bribery and blackmail and guilt all wrapped up in one. Okay, at least that's done. Now I have to figure out where one teenage boy could be hiding. [Dialing] Yeah, Nicole, just leaving you another message. It's Sami. Um, I talked to EJ and, yeah, so I know this has been a really tough day for you. You're not gonna believe what I'm about to do. Um, call me back. I have a question for you. Do you have any idea where I can find this guy Chad? Thanks. [Exhales]
Nicole: Maybe we're going about this the wrong way. You're a strong, handsome, young man with needs. And I am, mm, not without certain talents. So maybe if we put those two things together, we could come up with something beneficial for both of us.
Chad: S--say what?
Nicole: Do I have to draw you a picture?
Chad: Mrs. DiMera, are you trying to seduce me?
Nicole: Be honest. Wouldn't you like me to?
Arianna: Hi.
Roman: When I got your message, I was hoping you had heard from Rafe. But you don't look like you got good news.
Arianna: No. No. I haven't heard from Rafe. But I...
Roman: But what?
Arianna: Please don't get mad. Brady's going to look for him.
Roman: Why would I get mad? I don't think the fact that the police department can't declare Rafe a missing person yet should keep you from trying to find him.
Arianna: Well, that's good. Do you think that Brady could get someplace?
Roman: Well, I do know that Titan security detail has a lot of resources. So let me ask you this, is Brady doing this out of the goodness of his heart or are you two back together again?
Arianna: I know it's a mistake.
Roman: Arianna, we both know it's a hell of a lot more than just a mistake.
Sami: Hey, what are you doing here?
Brady: I, uh, look, I need to talk to you.
Sami: You know, I was just getting ready to go out.
Brady: Sami, it's about Rafe and it's really important.
Sami: I wish I had something else I could tell you, but he has not contacted me.
Carly: He's burning up again.
Omar: He's not better?
Carly: No. We have to get him antibiotics now.
Omar: Well, we're entering Salem harbor now.
Carly: Good.
Omar: So have you decided what you're going to do with your patient when we get there?
Carly: His fever is spiking again. We have to do something.
Omar: We?
Carly: Yeah, we. Omar, please, I know I have gotten you in way over your head, but--
Omar: Carly, as I said, for you, anything. But this man--this man with no name?
Carly: Can't just let him die.
Omar: We could leave him on the dock and pass him on to the next good Samaritan.
Carly: No.
Omar: Then we'll contact 911.
Carly: No.
Omar: Carly, we're in Salem now. There are other doctors.
Carly: When--when do we land--dock, you know?
Omar: Would it do any good to point out to you that you do not need baggage? That your husband's men, not known for giving up easily, are trying to kill you, and that one came very, very close?
Rafe: [Groans] Tr--trying to kill me.
Carly: He's in as much trouble as I am.
Omar: We'll get him help. But you have got to let him go.
Carly: No. There's only one thing to do, Omar, just one.
Bo: Hey, Lexie.
Lexie: Bo! Oh, Bo. Um, just give me a minute, okay?
Bo: [Clears throat] You forgot, didn't you?
Lexie: No, no, no. Of course, I didn't. I just, uh... yeah, I forgot.
Bo: You know, that kind of ticks me off.
Lexie: Ah.
Bo: You're practically running this place. Your father's in the hospital.
Lexie: Yeah, my brother is continuing the DiMera slash and burn approach to domestic life.
Bo: Mm-hmm. And you go and forget something as riveting as a Salem pd's volunteer program.
Lexie: You know what, right now--right now, that--that sounds fascinating. I mean, really, I would talk about folding laundry if it meant I didn't have to talk about my family.
Bo: [Laughs] I hear you.
Lexie: [Exhales] Are things still bad with you and Hope?
Bo: [Laughs] Things would have to get better to be bad.
Lexie: Oh.
Omar: Not abandoning this man as soon as possible.
Carly: Of course not.
Omar: You're always stubborn as a mule.
Carly: Once we get him the help he needs, I'll--I will go get help.
Omar: And this help you're planning on getting, is this why we came to Salem?
Carly: Exactly. Here in Salem, I've got a friend.
Bo: You know, uh, the problems that we've had before, it was always something or someone coming at us trying to pull us apart.
Lexie: And this time?
Bo: Well, Ciara's kidnapping brought up something else. There's...something happening between the two of us.
Lexie: Do you have any idea what it is?
Bo: As far as I can figure, Hope is pretty much wrong about everything and I'm right.
Lexie: [Laughs] Bo, you know, I mean, really, that--that would actually be funny if I wasn't sure you meant it.
Bo: Yeah.
Nicole: Mm. Mm. Mm. Okay. Chad, stop. Chad, don't.
Chad: You don't really mean that, do you?
Nicole: Yes, I do. Stop. Somebody help me, please! Get off!
Officer: Hey, what's going on here?
Nicole: He was attacking me and he wouldn't stop.
Officer: You better learn what "no" means. You want to press charges?
Nicole: Yes. Yes, I do.
Nicole: So what do you say? You want to have a little fun?
Sami: Okay, so I didn't ask you to try to find Rafe. Someone else obviously did. Why don't I just guess? Arianna?
Brady: [Laughs] She didn't ask. I offered.
Sami: Because...
Brady: Because I--I don't know--I, you know, I offered. I was passing the time.
Sami: Oh, come on, Brady. You're back together with her, aren't you?
Brady: No. No.
Sami: I know you better than that.
Brady: Sami, I'm--no. We're not--we are not--okay, we're back together.
Sami: [Laughs] Good.
Brady: But listen--listen, this is important, you can't tell anyone. No one.
Roman: So all these little talks we had about you seeing Brady, where I used words like "stupid" and "dangerous," they really didn't have much of an effect, did they?
Arianna: I tried to break it off with him.
Roman: Oh, but you were powerless in the face of such love.
Arianna: Well, I'm so glad you think this is funny.
Roman: You know, I really don't think it's funny. But I'll tell you this, I'm not that old that I don't remember doing things that were stupid and dangerous.
Arianna: Back when the earth was cooling?
Roman: Oh, that's very cute. I like that, wise guy. But what I don't remember here is telling my superior officer about it. So what a minute, what happened to you trying to shine me on? Why the hell would you tell me this?
Arianna: Well, I didn't want to.
Roman: Wait a minute. Whoa. Wait a minute. You're not telling me that Brady knows you're on the job. Don't tell me that you were moved to share.
Arianna: No, he doesn't know what I'm doing.
Roman: Well, then what are you not telling me here?
Arianna: It's his grandfather.
Roman: Victor.
Arianna: Yes.
Roman: Son of a bi--Victor knows you're working for me?
Arianna: No, no, no. He doesn't. He thinks I'm really a drug dealer.
Roman: Okay.
Arianna: And if I don't stay away from Brady, he's gonna tell him that I'm dealing. So I called you because... I don't know what to do.
Roman: Very simple answer. Nothing.
Nicole: You know, I'm sure Mia was very sweet. But it's different being with a woman.
Chad: Mrs. DiMera...
Nicole: Nicole. Let's not be too formal, Chad, okay?
Chad: Yeah. I know what you're trying to do.
Nicole: I know you do. I can't fool you.
Chad: You're trying to get me to--
Nicole: Relax. Just relax, Chad, and let me do what I do so well.
Chad: No, okay? I won't.
Nicole: Okay. [Clears throat] Maybe that's for the best. I am scared that you might be too much man for me.
Chad: Wait a minute, what'd you say?
Nicole: All right, Chad, I think we're doing way too much talking.
Chad: "Too much man for me." I, uh, I know that line. Oh, my god. You're that girl in the movie. You said it to the guy with the tool belt. Oh, my god, you're a porn star. My daughter's being raised by a porn star.
Roman: This Victor thing, it really doesn't bother me at all.
Arianna: Well, I'm delighted to hear that.
Roman: Look at it this way. If Victor Kiriakis is really buying that you're a bona fide drug dealer, that is a good thing. Makes you credible.
Arianna: Okay. What about the part where he could actually tell Brady that?
Roman: Same thing. If he sees the idea upsets you, thinks you're on the up and up, come on, you got to know what I'm talking about here.
Arianna: Yeah, I do. The fact that I'm actually upset about this, I mean, that's not bothering you at all?
Roman: Where's my slice of cheddar?
Arianna: We're out of cheddar. You know what, I'm out too. Go find yourself a new stooge. I quit.
Sami: Well, doesn't that just sound fantastic. Congratulations, Brady.
Brady: What?
Sami: Are you kidding me? I mean, I'm certainly no expert, but I would guess that a strong, solid, positive relationship does not start with having to keep the whole thing a secret.
Brady: Well, I know, but there's a good reason for it. I don't know what it is. But it's a good reason.
Sami: Doesn't that have "Hernandez" written all over it?
Brady: Sami, it's not like I can make her tell me what the problem is.
Sami: You're right. So you're just gonna pretend like it doesn't bother you. Pretend like she can just keep those secrets. And everything will work out fine. And then all of the sudden she's just gonna disappear and then you and I will have a lot in common.
Brady: That--that's actually why I came over here. I want your opinion on something. Do you think that what she's hiding has anything to do with what Rafe was hiding?
Sami: No.
Brady: Yeah, I-I didn't either.
Sami: I just know that if she knew where Rafe was, she would tell us.
Brady: Exactly. That's what I thought. And she has no idea where Rafe is.
Sami: And that's what really scares me.
Brady: Why?
Sami: Well, I mean, he broke up with me. It makes sense that he hasn't called me. But Arianna's really worried about him. She's left messages for him. He would find a way to let her know that he was okay. Just makes me think that he is in a really, really bad place.
Carly: Here, this is what needs to happen, okay? I'm gonna get off at the dock and then you go out and you-- you drop anchor.
Omar: Carly, I signed on to help you, not run a floating hospital.
Carly: I'm gonna need a flashlight so I can signal you when I need to come back.
Omar: No, I'm not doing it.
Carly: Omar, we both know I'm gonna get my way so let's not argue. It's a waste of time.
Omar: Just my luck to owe my life to a crazy woman. So...are you gonna fill me in on where you're going?
Carly: Back to my old hunting ground. Salem University hospital.
Bo: Okay, so you have two paid positions for volunteers.
Lexie: Mm-hmm. Since we made the move, the program's much more efficient.
Bo: Well, that's a great idea, but the PD's budget is-- and this is the technical term-- busted.
Lexie: Yeah, well, just like everyone else, huh?
Bo: Yeah. We can't pay for enough cops, much less a director of volunteers.
Lexie: So why don't you do like we did, get someone to underwrite the program.
Bo: Oh, yeah, like who?
Lexie: What about Hope?
Bo: [Laughs]
Lexie: It'd be a good chance to get her involved with the force again.
Bo: [Clears throat]
Nicole: [Laughs] I look--I look like a lot of people in the entertainment industry. I mean, one of my friends thinks I look like a-a--one of those real housewives from Orange County.
Chad: No, you know what, you not only look like her, but you talk like her and you said the same stupid line.
Nicole: You're--you're wrong.
Chad: No. No, no. The person who wants to take my kid is the star of Locker Room Lolita.
Nicole: Okay, fine, you know what, it--that--that was in the past. I-I made mistakes and God only knows that I've paid for them.
Chad: How can you say it's in the past when you're throwing yourself on me right now to get what you want?
Nicole: Well, maybe some day you'll know what desperate is.
Chad: You know, and that's a--it's a real nice word for what you are. So, lady, thanks, but no thanks. As much fun as it would be to brag to all my friends that I bagged some hot, old nymphomaniac, I'm not doing anything to screw up getting my kid back.
Lexie: Whoo! I can see how much you just love that idea.
Bo: Yeah, I won't be asking Hope for money.
Lexie: This is the thing, Bo, it wouldn't be you asking for her money. It would be the police department.
Bo: [Laughs] Yeah, well, she's not making that distinction these days. And, uh, money is one of several hot button issues right now.
Lexie: Money's never been an issue before, has it?
Bo: No, but the kidnapping kind of brought that to the fore.
Lexie: Oh. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Hit a nerve, didn't I?
Bo: [Laughs] Don't worry about it, that's pretty easy to do these days, um, ever since she took Ciara.
Lexie: Wait, what?
Bo: Oh, you hadn't heard.
Lexie: No, I thought they went on vacation.
Bo: Yeah. [Laughs] A vacation from me. And when they got back, Ciara... had to move out with her mother.
Lexie: Oh, Bo, I'm so sorry.
Bo: Yeah.
Lexie: You know, I mean, this--this whole kidnapping-- I mean, traumatic events like this... it'll--it'll take some time. But she'll get over it.
Bo: Well, that's the thing. The kidnapping isn't the problem. Apparently, it just dug up issues that had been there. And as I'm told, these issues have been there for quite some time.
Omar: It's time.
Carly: Just keep wiping him down with cold water. We have to get his temperature down.
Omar: Okay. Here. Keep the hood up and try to be careful.
Carly: Really isn't my color, Omar.
Omar: Carly, I am very worried about you right now. Could we dispense with the humor, please?
Carly: Yeah, sorry. I just get that way when I'm nervous. I'm really, really grateful for everything you're doing for me.
Omar: Listen to me, if you can't get back to the boat-- if you have to run, do not worry about him. I will look after him. Just take care of yourself.
Carly: Thanks. There's nothing to worry about. I'm gonna be fine. Nothing ever happens in Salem.
Chad: All right, well, I'll tell you one thing, miss "Misty Circle," she isn't going to have some washed-up porn star for a mother.
Nicole: Oh, and I suppose you're doing all of this out of concern for her well-being.
Chad: What is that supposed to mean?
Nicole: You're doing this to get back at Mia and you don't even know what you're getting yourself into. [Exhales] But you do know, I hope, when you get a baby, that you can't just shove her in your gym locker, okay? You have to be responsible for her 24-7.
Chad: Yeah, I know that.
Nicole: No, you don't know. You don't have a clue. You--listen to me. The last nine months of my life have been the hardest I have ever been through.
Chad: I'm not interested in your sob story.
Nicole: It's not a sob story. It's a joy. An unmitigated joy. All right, Chad, here's the deal, if you--if you want a baby--and I mean really want her, every second is precious. But if you don't--and you don't--we both know you don't-- it can be a burden. You can go from 17 to middle-aged in two days. And I'm guessing, Chad, that you're not really a giving person. And just wait until you have to give all the time--always. And wait until you can't go party all night long and your boys are out chasing tail while you're chasing diapers.
Chad: Oh, you pay people to do that.
Nicole: Oh, my God. No. No!
Chad: Look, I'd do anything to keep my daughter away from a psycho like you. Anything.
Nicole: I have led a horrible life.
Chad: And you got it on film.
Nicole: And you know what? It has made me a good mother. I am strong and I am determined to give her everything she needs.
Chad: Okay, that's not your call.
Nicole: And this isn't about money or--or--or the best schools or any of that crap. This is about love. And because of me, I have given her all the love she needs now and forever. And you want to take that away from her?
Chad: It's not your call, okay? And it's not Mia's call. I'm the father and I'm part of the picture whether you like it or not!
Nicole: Okay, you know what, wait, wait, just wait! Let's just get on a practical level here, okay? EJ is reeling right now. He is not himself. But he is a DiMera and he loves that little girl. And I don't think you want to become his enemy.
Chad: You know what, uh, this might work on Mia, but not me. Okay, maybe--maybe you should meet my family, all right? My parents have power. And guess what, it's all legal. And wait till I tell the attorneys who happen to be my parents and the kid's grandparents--
Nicole: She is not "the kid."
Chad: That you came on to me like some whore in your movie.
Nicole: Her name is Sydney.
Chad: Yeah, for now. But we'll show the judge some classic porn. I'll see you in court.
Brady: "Thinking of you."
[Cell phone rings]
Roman: Wow. Guy's a regular lord Byron. That the best he can do? "Thinking of you."
Arianna: You know what, this is on the house so you can leave now.
Roman: Okay, I thank you for that. But you know what? One last thing here. Just to state the obvious... you can't quit.
Arianna: Watch me.
Roman: First of all, quitting is going to do nothing to defang Victor. Even if you quit, he can still tell Brady you're dealing.
Arianna: Okay, and I can tell Brady what's--
Roman: You can tell him what? You can tell him about our arrangement? Arianna, listen to me very closely, okay? Do you think the department is gonna risk all this work-- not to mention future undercover operations--just sit back, watch you tell Brady the truth? No. Uh-uh. Doesn't work that way. We'll make it look like it's not the truth. We'll make it look like Victor is right.
Arianna: I'm so sick of being threatened.
Roman: Well, I'm sorry about that. But here's the thing... you made the deal. You got where you wanted. We're still waiting for your end of the bargain.
Arianna: You're right. They'll send me back to prison if I quit.
Roman: There you go.
Sami: But based on what you said, he may not even be working tonight. So don't get your hopes up. No. No, no, no. You stay there, take care of Mia, and I will work this out. Don't you worry. Oh. I think that he's here. I'll call you later. Uh, I'd like a small decaf cappuccino, please.
Chad: For here or to go?
Sami: For here. You're Chad, right?
Chad: Yeah. Why?
Sami: I know Sydney and I'd like to talk to you about her.
Bo: And I thought we were talking about how I handled things with the kidnapping. Then all of the sudden, Patrick Lockhart's name comes up and, you know, how I gave Chelsea the keys to the car when--when Zack...
Lexie: Bo, I'm so sorry.
Bo: [Breathes deeply]
Lexie: What? What are you thinking?
Bo: Well, you know when, um, Will Smith was killing the bugs that were aliens?
Lexie: Oh, my goodness, I just love talking to men about serious things.
Bo: Hey, no. They had this device that would erase people's memories. You know, Hope and I could use that thing right now. You know? So she can forget, move on. But it's not gonna happen.
Lexie: Have you forgotten?
Bo: I would if she would stop dredging things up.
Lexie: Well, uh, maybe she keeps bringing things up because she doesn't think they've really been resolved.
Bo: Well, that's just the thing, Lexie. Nothing can be resolved. Everything we've been thr-- nothing can change. You know what I think?
Lexie: What?
Bo: That she doesn't want things to work out with us. She's just using this as an excuse to get out.
Lexie: Bo, I mean, I mean, if--if you really think that, you must be mad as hell.
Bo: No. Uh-uh. She's the one who's mad, not me.
Lexie: Liar.
Bo: Yeah. I don't think I've ever been this mad.
Carly: Okay, Manning, you know what you have to do.
Roman: Arianna... listen to me very closely, okay? I really like you and I want you to be careful. But I need you to do this job. You knew the terms of the deal from the very beginning.
Arianna: I did. I just didn't know I was going to meet Brady. I just don't, um...
Roman: You don't what?
Arianna: I don't want Brady to ever know that I was in prison. He says that he's this really forgiving person. He keeps telling me that he was in rehab like that's the worst thing in the world. Wait till he founds out what I've done.
Roman: Okay, wait a minute. Wait a minute now. Okay, two things. First of all, I think you will be able to keep it from him.
Arianna: If I do what you want.
Roman: And the second thing is when the time is right, you might want to tell him.
Arianna: Are you serious? Yeah, that's every little girl's dream. Oh, sweetheart, honey, I got something to tell you about the time that I was in prison.
Roman: I think you are selling this guy way too short if you think that would be a deal breaker.
Arianna: I don't want him to find out.
Roman: Well, all right, that is totally up to you.
Arianna: And what if you are right? What if I do tell him and he can get past it? I guess look how he stood by Nicole all this time, right?
Nicole: Hey.
Brady: Nicole.
Nicole: Are you busy?
Brady: No. No. But...
Nicole: You're the only one I can turn to.
Brady: What happened? Where--where's--where's Sydney?
Nicole: Oh, Brady, I need you. I need you so much.
Chad: Here. I got, uh, someone to cover for me.
Sami: Thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me.
Chad: So you mind telling me who you are?
Sami: My name is Sami. And, um, and like I said, I know Sydney. I've seen her with Nicole and she is a really happy baby.
Chad: What, did she pay you to say that?
Sami: No.
Chad: You're wasting your time, okay? There's nothing you can say that she hasn't already tried on me.
Sami: I wouldn't be too sure of that. See, I have lived through what you are signing up for... and I'm telling you you might want to rethink this whole thing.
Lexie: I didn't realize things were still bad between you and Hope.
Bo: You know, um, when they took Ciara... I made one of those deals with God. Just bring my daughter back and I won't ever ask for anything else.
Lexie: Oh, Bo.
Bo: I didn't know that, um, very soon I would lose everything.
Lexie: Come on, now, don't throw in the towel just yet.
Bo: Tell that to Hope. She's the one who won't live under the same roof as me.
Lexie: Yeah, for the moment. Come on. How long have you know me and Abe? How many times has it been over between the two of us? I mean done with. Dead.
Bo: You guys are different.
Lexie: In what way?
Bo: One of you isn't Hope.
Sami: Look, Chad, there is nothing that anyone can tell you that will prepare you for what it's really like to be a kid with a kid.
Chad: But you got to keep your kid, right? I mean, no one tried to take her from you.
Sami: You're right. I got to keep him. I had a son and he's... someone I love more than anything in the world. But... but look... I didn't keep him because I wanted to be a good mom or because I thought it was the right thing. I kept him... because I was trying to hold on to a man.
Chad: Oh, the father.
Sami: Uh, look, the details aren't important right now. What is important is that I know better than anyone that there are the reasons that you tell people and then there are the real reasons. I mean, come on, maybe there's a little payback for not being told about the baby in the first place. Maybe there's a pride thing. Chad, I'm not trying to judge you. I'm not coming down on you. I'm just trying to get you to see that if those are the reasons--if they're even partly the reasons, the person who's going to end up paying is Sydney.
Chad: So you think your son paid because you didn't put him up for adoption.
Sami: I love my son. From the moment I held him in my arms, I loved him. And I thought he was perfect and innocent and beautiful. Look, the novelty wears off pretty quick.
Chad: The--the novelty. I--what?
Sami: Yeah, well, they cry. Among other things. They--they cry and cry and cry. And it is hard. And you are pacing the floor trying to help them go to sleep. Begging them. Pleading with them. Doing anything you can. And then you end up cursing them because they're stopping you from sleeping. I was selfish. I just--I wanted to be able to live my own life. And I was putting myself first instead of--instead of my son. And it's hard. [Laughs] And they know it. They can sense it.
Chad: So now...now what? You know, h--how has that affected him now? Your not putting him first?
Sami: He's insecure. He's not as confident as he should be. And I know it's my fault. I know it's because I wasn't there for him 100% the way a parent should be. Come on, Chad, didn't you get sent to boarding school because you were smoking dope?
Chad: [Laughs] Like that's, uh, that's not gonna happen again, all right?
Sami: Okay. Okay, I believe you. But what if you make other mistakes? Mistakes that hurt Sydney? [Laughs] What if you don't? What if it's just that you want to go to college, or you want to travel, or you want to join the Peace Corps, or--or whatever it is? What's gonna happen to her when you want to do those things?
Chad: But I won't, okay? Because I'm--I'm a father now.
Sami: Okay. Okay, so that means you're going to take her with you to college, on dates, on your honeymoon?
Chad: Yes, absolutely. Yeah, I will.
Sami: Okay. But just know that that means that she is stopping you from having the life that you want. From you fulfilling your dreams. And it's not even about you. It's about her. She's gonna know that she did that. And she's gonna know that you resent her for it. She'll sense it. Chad, I love my son more than anything. And I can't go back and change the past. But you...you can do what's right for your daughter.
Bo: I'm sure you've enjoyed our little chat, me being so upbeat and all.
Lexie: Yeah, lighten up. You're kind of a bummer.
Bo: Yeah.
Lexie: Yeah. Listen, it is not over between you and Hope.
Bo: Right.
[Cell phone ringing]
Lexie: Ugh. I've got to go.
Bo: Okay. Thanks for listening.
Lexie: You hang in there, okay?
Bo: Yeah, what choice do I have, you know, these last couple of months?
Lexie: Yeah. Tell me about it.
Bo: Yeah.
Lexie: Yeah.
Bo: All right. Later.
Lexie: Okay.
Bo: Well...what's next?
Carly: Nice to see nothing's changed.
Maxine: Bo, excuse me. Did you ever get that information you wanted on the GSW from last night?
Bo: Uh, no. You have something for me?
Maxine: Yeah.
Sami: I know I've given you a lot to think about.
Chad: Look, I'm--I'm not just some jerk, okay? I just don't want anything bad to happen to my-- to Sydney.
Sami: Okay. Well, then do the right thing. Do what's best for her. I think in this case, that's leaving her with her adopted mother.
Chad: Maybe, uh, maybe you're right. You know, maybe I'm looking at this whole thing the wrong way. [Laughs] You know, you're the first person who makes any sense about this.
Sami: [Laughs]
Brady: Nicole, what--what the hell is going on?
Nicole: When you came back to Salem and you came to see me, I was all about EJ, but I was so wrong.
Brady: What--what do you mean, "wrong"?
Nicole: I should've--I should've welcomed you with open arms because all along, you-- you were the one by my side-- the one who really loved me.
Brady: Nicole, what are you talking about?
Nicole: I want to go away, Brady. The two of us forever.
Arianna: What can I get you?
Victor: How about some cocaine?
Nicole: And we can start a wonderful life together.
Chad: I will never make the same mistakes you did when I'm raising my kid.
