Shawn D.: It's either that or we start fighting again, and I'm not in the mood. Come on, Belle, it's late. Give me the keys.
Belle: No.
Shawn D.: Give me the keys.
Belle: No, if you don't have yours, then you're just gonna have to listen, aren't you?
Shawn D.: I have done enough listening for one night.
Belle: Shawn, I swear to you, I didn't do anything wrong that night. At least I didn't mean to.
Shawn D.: You didn't mean to? Is that supposed to make it okay that you may have destroyed my career before it's even started?
Bo: You suddenly got very quiet.
Billie: You just accused my brother of lying to you.
Bo: Rather difficult to not come to that conclusion.
Billie: Did Lucas have plenty of reasons to want E.J. dead? Sure. But he's not alone in that.
Bo: You're right. He's not. There were at least four guns pointed at Junior that night.
Billie: And you think my brother was one of them.
Bo: You tell me.
Billie: What did Lucas say?
Bo: I'm more interested in what you have to say. You saw him right after the shooting.
Billie: I thought he should know.
Bo: And did he?
Billie: He heard about it on the radio.
Bo: Stop the music. I'm a little tired of this dance. Did Lucas stay at his apartment that entire night, or did he take a little trip over to the church?
Sami: Lucas, wait. What is going on?
Lucas: I told you, I have to pick up a package.
Sami: Of investment papers.
Lucas: Yes, investment material. It's time-sensitive stuff. I told you that.
Sami: And what exactly are you gonna do with that information tonight?
Lucas: I'm gonna go through it so I can make a move on it first thing in the morning.
Sami: So you're choosing that investment...over me?
Lucas: Don't do that. You're not fighting fair when you do that.
Sami: I don't want to fight at all, Lucas.
Lucas: Honey, just wait, okay? As soon as I have the package, I'll feel much better, and then I'll come right home, all right?
Sami: Why can't you just make them deliver it?
Lucas: Because I don't trust them, okay? They tried and something happened. I don't know what, but I don't want to take any chances with this, okay? As soon as I have it, I won't be distracted. I can focus all my attention on you because you are the one I love. I'll be back, okay? Real quick. Hey, it's me. I'm on my way. I'm gonna pick up the package right now. Yeah, I'll call you as soon as I have it. Just do me a favor and stay put till I get there. He just left.
E.J.: Yes, I was put on hold. I have a package for pickup. I'd like to have it delivered, please. Sure. Horton, Lucas. Yeah. Uh, 76527890987688. No, I'm gonna be here all day. That's wonderful. Thank you. [Baby crying] Oh, don't cry, sweetheart. Daddy's coming. Step daddy. Are ya havin' any fun?
Belle: I was trying to help you.
Shawn D.: I didn't ask for your help. And I sure as hell didn't ask for Philip's, either. I can't believe that you let him use you like that.
Belle: He didn't use me. What are you talking about?
Shawn D.: He knew that this would mess everything up for me with the department.
Belle: How? How would he know that? I'm sure Philip did not intend to hurt you.
Shawn D.: How sure, Belle? He knew that if I brought that gun in that I'd get the credit. And then when they found out it was a setup, I would look like an idiot.
Belle: They don't have to find out if you don't tell them.
Shawn D.: All because you went behind my back again and went along with another one of Philip's suggestions.
Belle: He wanted to help you. I wanted to help you.
Shawn D.: When has Philip done anything lately to make you think that he really wants to help me, huh? He does not want to see us happy. He wants to see us break up. I thought you understood that.
Belle: You're right.
Shawn D.: Now, can I have the keys? Thank you.
Belle: Shawn, I swear --
Shawn D.: You know, I am just really tired right now, and if you don't mind, I'd just like to go to bed. [Knock on door]
Hope: Hey, kids. Shawn? Belle? [Knocking continues] Shawn? Hi. Oh, I'm sorry. Am I intruding?
Bo: Have a seat. Make yourself comfortable.
Lucas: I am asking you for a favor. Have I ever asked you for anything in my whole life? Just tell him I wasn't there.
Billie: You are asking me to lie to Bo. Bo -- who is not only a friend of mine, he's a cop, Lucas.
Bo: Black, right?
Billie: So, like I told you, after I heard about E.J.'s shooting on the radio, I went straight to Lucas' apartment and he was there with the twins.
Bo: Yeah, that's what he keeps telling me, that he was with them the entire night.
Billie: And you don't think he was.
Bo: I've already caught him in a couple of lies.
Billie: What lie?
Bo: We'll get to that later. I kind of figured he'd confide in his big sister, the one person he could trust.
Billie: Well, if he trusts me, it's because he knows I can keep my mouth shut. Kind of like you trust me 'cause you know that I can keep my mouth shut. Remember?
Bo: Yeah. And I'm sure you remember that people like yourself in the security business need to keep their relationships friendly with those of us who are in law enforcement so you can get your job done.
Billie: Are you threatening me, Bo?
Bo: I'm just saying that you can count on me when the chips are down. Are you saying that I can't count on you?
Billie: I'll do anything I can to help.
Bo: That's all I'm asking. So, if you tell me that Lucas was home the entire night with the kids, I'll believe you. Just asking for the truth.
Billie: [Sighs] Okay, you're right. Lucas did go out for a while... and he went to the church.
E.J.: Allie, shh, shh, shh. There you are. There we go. Good girl. Good girl. Come on. Back to sleep. Come on, let's be quiet. There we go. You know, I wish I could raise you and your brother in Tuscany. That would make me very happy. You like that? Does that make you go to sleep? Yes? Shh. Shh. Alice Caroline DiMera. Isn't that much nicer than Alice Caroline Horton? We don't like Horton, do we? No, we don't. No, we don't. There we go. God, you have so much of your mother in you. You're beautiful. You have her eyes. And you got all her temper.
Sami: Hey. [Knock on door] E.J., why'd you lock the door?
E.J.: We're coming. [Grunts]
Sami: E.J., what's the deal? What's going on?
E.J.: We're coming, darling. Just hold on.
Sami: What do you mean we? E.J.
E.J.: Just one second, my dear.
Sami: E.J., What is going on?
E.J.: It's open.
Sami: E.J., what are you talking about?
E.J.: Be quiet, darling, please. Just be quiet.
Sami: Allie?
E.J.: She's asleep.
Sami: What are you doing with her?
E.J.: She was fussing, so, you know, I wanted to see what was going on.
Sami: That is not the point.
E.J.: Well, what is the point?
Sami: How did you get her out of her crib from your wheelchair?
Shawn D.: Mom, come on in.
Hope: Uh, thanks, honey.
Shawn D.: What are you doing here?
Hope: Your dad had some business downstairs, so I thought I'd pop up and say hi. But I'm getting the feeling that possibly this might be a bad time?
Belle: No, of course not. We're always happy to see you.
Hope: Thank you.
Belle: Why don't you two talk? Claire's staying at my mom's, so I'm gonna check in. I'll be back.
Hope: Okay.
Shawn D.: So, I saw Steve and Kayla's car getting towed. Did they have car problems?
Hope: Yeah, actually, I had to give them a ride home. So, um...how was the reunion?
Shawn D.: Awful.
Hope: "Awful"? Why?
Shawn D.: Philip showed. Is that awful enough?
Hope: Well, you shouldn't have been surprised. You all graduated together, honey.
Shawn D.: Yeah, but he knew we were gonna be there. He could have stayed away given the circumstances. Mom, let's just drop it, all right?
Hope: Would you like to talk about it?
Shawn D.: No. Please. I'm really wiped out right now, and if you don't mind, I'd just like to climb into bed.
Hope: Just please. What did Philip do that's got you so worked up?
Shawn D.: You got three seconds to tell me the truth or I walk. 3...2...1.
Belle: No, okay, okay. Shawn, Philip and I planted that gun that you found behind the pub.
Shawn D.: What?
Belle: I felt horrible about that letter that I wrote to the academy, and I was just trying to make up for it.
Shawn D.: Wait a minute. So you and Philip planted that gun? So that means that the gun was -- wait -- how the hell did you get your hands on it?
Belle: Philip had it.
Shawn D.: Oh, that son of -- you know what? I cannot believe you, Belle.
Belle: I was just trying to help you.
Shawn D.: By lying to me?
Belle: If you found that gun, you would be the hero. You'd be a shoo-in for the academy.
Shawn D.: Oh, and whose bright idea was this? I'm guessing that it was Philip's.
Belle: He just wanted to help you. I wanted to help you.
Shawn D.: And what did he get in return?
Belle: He wanted some time alone with me.
Shawn D.: Oh, I bet he did. I am gonna --
Belle: Shawn, no. Nothing happened, I swear. We just talked.
Shawn D.: Oh, and why should I believe you, Belle, huh? Everything else you lied about. So that means the thugs in the alley, the gun -- everything was a total setup.
Belle: If I had known you would have gotten this upset about it, I never would have done it.
Shawn D.: What do you expect, Belle? You just think I'm a total loser, don't you? Is that what this is about?
Hope: Shawn?
Billie: Okay, like I said, the minute I heard about the shooting on the radio, I went straight to Lucas' apartment and he was there with the twins.
Bo: And that's when he told you he had been to the wedding.
Billie: Yes, and he didn't try and hide it.
Bo: What about the twins?
Billie: Uh, they were there with a babysitter or registered nurse, and, no, I didn't get her name.
Bo: Well, I wish he was as up-front with me as he was with you. And I wish I didn't have to twist your damn arm.
Billie: That's because he thought you would jump to conclusions. And as for me, gee, Bo, tell me you've never done anything to protect your brother.
Bo: Point taken.
Billie: Thank you. Now, come on. Lucas has been through hell. Can't we give him a break?
Bo: Definitely, except if he shot Junior.
Billie: He didn't.
Bo: He told you that.
Billie: Yes, and I believe him.
Bo: He told you that he didn't put a bullet in the man who stole his wife from him?
Billie: Bo, he told me that he went to the church. He watched the ceremony. And he swore to me that he did not shoot E.J.
Bo: What did he do afterwards?
Billie: He went back to the apartment. He paid the nurse, then he worried about Sami.
Bo: What did he do with the gun?
Sami: I don't want you to explain it to me again. I'm just trying to tell you that you took a really big risk with my daughter.
E.J.: Samantha, look, I was very careful. The last thing I would let happen is any harm come to your daughter.
Sami: You could have dropped her whether you meant to or not.
E.J.: Look, she was crying. I thought something was wrong.
Sami: Wait a second. You said before she was just fussing.
E.J.: She was upset, okay? The moment that I picked this girl up and held her in my arms, she was happy. She was quiet. She went right back to sleep. It was a really wonderful feeling to be able to comfort such a small baby in that way.
Sami: I should get them home and fed and changed and everything.
E.J.: Wait a second. Why don't you do that here? Let me help you. All right, don't -- before you even begin, just let me try to help you. Please? Stay awhile. What's the rush?
Sami: You said that you were going to give me breathing room, E.J.
E.J.: Samantha, I really, um -- I don't see why I have to live up to all of my promises when all that you do is lie to me.
Hope: Shawn, what? What did Philip do at the reunion? Honey, if you don't –
Belle: Okay, hang on, sweetie. Daddy's right here. Guess who misses her daddy.
Shawn D.: Hey, beautiful. I hope you're being good for grandma. Yeah? Okay.
Hope: So, uh...how was the reunion?
Belle: Oh, you know how they are. We saw a lot of old friends and had a really good time catching up.
Hope: Cool. Did anything happen with Philip?
Belle: Same thing that always happens when Shawn and Philip are in the same room together, which is why I'm making sure that I'm never anywhere near Philip if I can help it.
Hope: You still didn't answer my question. Did something happen with Philip?
Belle: No, nothing happened, except that Chloe told Shawn that I saw Philip the other night.
Hope: What other night?
Belle: We just talked. That's it. We just talked, okay?
Hope: No, it really isn't okay, because you made me a promise never to see Philip again.
Shawn D.: Well, I don't know about you two, but I've had a long day. We can catch up tomorrow. You don't mind, do you, Mom?
Hope: No, of course not. I'll, um, I'll say good night, then. I'll see you later, honey. Sleep well, Belle.
Shawn D.: Tell dad I said hi.
Hope: I will.
Shawn D.: So, what'd you tell her?
Belle: I told her that we didn't exactly have the night of our lives.
Shawn D.: Good for you. You didn't lie for a change.
Billie: You've been playing me this whole time, haven't you? How do you know that Lucas had a gun?
Bo: Talked to a gun dealer in Cincinnati, said Lucas bought two guns.
Billie: Two?
Bo: One found its way into Kate's hands. That one is now logged, tagged, and locked up in the evidence room.
Billie: And the other?
Bo: It's out there somewhere. And I need it. Do you have any leads for me?
Billie: I swear to you, Bo, I don't know anything about a gun.
Bo: How did Lucas react when you told him you'd be talking to me?
Billie: He's at the top of your list right now, isn't he? You've got a detail on him right now as we speak.
Bo: Did he ask you to lie for him?
Billie: Even if he did, don't you think that I would have told him that I couldn't?
Bo: You did a good job of avoiding my question.
Billie: He's my brother, Bo. He's been given a raw deal by those stupid DiMeras.
Bo: So your brother's in trouble and you want to protect him.
Billie: Of course I do.
Bo: But now you figure, in the long run, it'd be best to tell the truth.
Billie: Why do I feel so guilty for what I've just done?
Bo: Would you feel less guilty if you'd lied?
Billie: All I ask is that you try and cut him a break, okay?
Bo: If I can, I will.
Billie: Please.
Hope: Hey, Brady.
Bo: Hey. Lucas was at the wedding.
Hope: Billie confirmed it?
Bo: Yeah.
Hope: What do we do now?
Bo: The usual step by step.
Hope: Wasn't Lucas alone with the twins?
Bo: No. He hired a nurse.
Hope: And we're gonna find that nurse, aren't we?
Bo: Yes, we are. Let's go.
Sami: I'm not lying to you, E.J. I don't know what you're thinking.
E.J.: What I'm thinking, Samantha, is you're using your ex-husband as an excuse to spend time with your husband.
Sami: No, I'm not.
E.J.: Really? Well, I just heard Lucas leave. He's not coming back for a while, and even if he was sitting across the hall, I don't see why he would be annoyed that we're spending time together, Samantha. You're my wife.
Sami: You know why.
E.J.: All right, look, you -- you tell me that you have these feelings for me.
Sami: I do.
E.J.: Okay, then why have you been acting this way since we came back from the hospital?
Sami: What way? What are you talking about?
E.J.: Samantha, you're doing everything you can to avoid me, and then when we spend time together, you're pushing me away. You're certainly not acting like a woman that has any feelings for me. Look, do you think I can't feel your reluctance to be near me?
Sami: I've been telling you the truth, everything I said from the hospital till now, but, E.J., it is still...difficult for me.
E.J.: That's my problem. It's too difficult.
Sami: I'm not just talking about you. I know how hard this must be for you, but you're not alone.
E.J.: I certainly feel alone.
Sami: I don't mean it like that. I mean, you're not the only one with difficulties. It's hard for me. It's hard for Lucas. Imagine how he must feel seeing me wearing your ring, knowing that he and I can never be together.
E.J.: Okay. And what about when we're alone? What's your excuse then?
Sami: It's not an excuse. I'm just...having trouble being free with my feelings, especially because Lucas isn't accepting this.
E.J.: Samantha, he's not going to accept this because you keep dangling this hope in front of him that one day you and him are going to get back together.
Sami: I have to get along with him. We have children together -- Will and Allie -- to think about. Look, we spent years hating each other, and I am not gonna go through that again. Do you understand? I don't want to argue with you about Lucas.
E.J.: Look, I don't want to argue about Lucas, either, okay? Samantha, would you just... would you grant me one small request, okay? That when Lucas isn't around, when we're alone like today, like right now, is it too much to ask that you could show me a little bit of affection? I mean, it's not like it can go anywhere. There's not a lot that I can do in return, but it would mean a lot to me if I could just touch you, if I could just hold you, and I don't understand why somebody who says that they have these feelings for me doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near me.
Lucas: Mom, I got to get home.
Kate: Yeah, listen, what do you mean that it wasn't there? How can that be?
Lucas: I don't know. Somebody sent it out, all right? They put it back on the truck so it could be delivered.
Kate: Who authorized that?
Lucas: I have no idea. You told me to come here and tell you everything I know. That's it. Now, I have to go.
Kate: Lucas, this wasn't a mistake, all right? Someone wanted that package back on the truck. And I think that someone pretended they were you and called in.
Lucas: I'm the only one who has the tracking number.
Kate: Maybe it was the police.
Lucas: They would have gone to the warehouse, Mom. They would have seized it.
Kate: Well, did you tell them to bring the truck back, to call the driver, that you need the package at the office?
Lucas: Yes, I did. They're gonna try, but they don't guarantee that. They can't get ahold of the driver.
Kate: Well, I think you need to get back to the apartment. You need to be there in case it hasn't been delivered yet.
Lucas: That's what I've been trying to tell you. Thank you.
Kate: Lucas...if the police get ahold of this gun...
Lucas: Don't worry about it, okay? Sami's there. She's there with the kids, and she'll sign for it.
Kate: Oh, yeah, that's great. She'll sign for it, and she'll open it.
Lucas: She will not. We trust each other. We respect each other's privacy.
Kate: Really? Well, it's heartwarming to know that marrying Sami, even for a brief time, has changed her so much that she wouldn't be just a little bit curious about a package you sent to yourself?
Lucas: All right, fine. Fine, you're right. Good point.
Kate: Yeah, you need to get back there, you need to get the package, get the gun, and get rid of it the way you should have on the night of the wedding.
Lucas: Just stop hassling me.
Sami: E.J., I know how frustrated you are. I feel the same way.
E.J.: Do you?
Sami: I wish we could spend more time together.
E.J.: Well, I don't see what's stopping us.
Sami: You don't?
E.J.: No.
Sami: I'm pretty busy these days. I've got two infants to take care of, two families I'm juggling, and I'm just asking you to be a little understanding. Please.
E.J.: You're right. I'm sorry. I know you're under a lot of stress.
Sami: To say the least. And stress is not exactly conducive to romance. So, just trust me 'cause things are gonna change, okay?
E.J.: You know that I would do anything for you.
Sami: Well, that sounds like a pretty good start to this marriage to me.
E.J.: You know that I love you, right?
Sami: I know. [Chuckles] I've got to go.
E.J.: Well, stay. You know what I did? I arranged that physiotherapy appointment that you were on me about. Stay with me. I could use all the encouragement I can get.
Sami: Well, let me get the twins and get them settled and fed and changed and everything and I'll try to come back. How about that?
E.J.: What, are you gonna try to come back?
Sami: I'll come back.
E.J.: You will? Good. See how happy you made me?
Sami: Yes, I see, and I am very glad. All right, let me go get them.
Bo: No, that's great. Just don't let him out of your sight. Okay. Well, we got to find out why they're so upset. If you find out anything, give me a call.
Hope: Catch me up.
Bo: Lucas went down to the Airmove Express office on Cumberland.
Hope: What was he sending?
Bo: Nothing. He apparently was picking up something.
Hope: Do you know what?
Bo: No, he came out empty-handed, all upset, jumped in his car, and went over to Chez Rouge to meet Kate.
Hope: Kate? If he's relying on his mother, he's desperate.
Bo: Yeah, well, we're watching him. If any kind of package shows up, we'll grab it.
Kate: What are you still doing here?
Lucas: Listen to me -- I think I'm being followed.
Kate: What?
Lucas: I think I'm being followed.
Kate: You think or you're sure?
Lucas: Mom, I'm pretty sure.
Kate: Why?
Lucas: 'Cause I was just headed out to my car and I heard something behind me. He's been following me.
Kate: Look, that's probably paranoia.
Lucas: No, it's not paranoia. I have a very bad feeling about this.
Kate: [Sighs] So, what, do you think it's the police?
Lucas: Yes, I do. Who else could it be?
Kate: You think the police are following you?
Lucas: Yes. They probably think I'm gonna lead them to a gun that is missing.
Kate: Honey, you told me yourself that if they knew about the package, they would have picked it up.
Lucas: They know about the gun, Mom. They don't know what the deal is with the package.
Kate: Honey, look, you have an alibi, don't you? You were with the twins. No one else knows that you were at the church, except for me. Right?
Lucas: Right. Right, right. What?
Kate: Does someone else know?
Lucas: Stop it, all right? I didn't come back here for this. I came back for your help.
Kate: My help. What the hell can I do?
Lucas: Do me a favor and put your purse on your lap or something and go through it. Take out some lipstick and pass me your keys.
Kate: What, under the table?
Lucas: Just pass me your keys, please. I'll act like I'm going to the bathroom and I'll head out. I'll drive off in your car. If somebody's following me, once they realize it, it'll be too late.
Kate: Lucas, that is a ridiculously lame plan.
Lucas: Is it, Mom? You got a better one?
Belle: Shawn.
Shawn D.: What?
Belle: Anything interesting?
Shawn D.: Beautiful crescent moon. Did I get the right answer, Belle?
Belle: How about coming to bed?
Shawn D.: How about it?
Belle: Well, are you so we can talk?
Shawn D.: No, not tonight.
Belle: It's all gonna be fine.
Shawn D.: What is?
Belle: The gun. It'll be fine. You'll tell your dad and he'll fix it.
Shawn D.: Are you crazy? This cannot be fixed. You and Philip did a lot more than just make me look brainless. Now I'm a criminal.
Belle: What? Why?
Shawn D.: When somebody conceals or withholds information on somebody who has committed a crime, that is also a crime, Belle. Just like the crime that you and Philip committed, for instance.
Belle: I feel so stupid. I'm sorry.
Shawn D.: That gun is a major piece in an ongoing investigation, and if I don't come forward and tell them what I know, then I'm legally guilty, too.
Lucas: You got mine and I got yours. Good. All right. Just stay here, okay?
Kate: For how long?
Lucas: Until I can get out of here. [Clears throat] Well, it's hot in here. I think I'm gonna use the restroom. Mom, I'll be right back.
Kate: Okay, sweetie. I'll be here.
Bo: Emily?
Emily: Yes.
Bo: Hi, I'm Bo Brady. This is Hope, Salem P.D. We got your name from the visiting nurses group you work with. I want to ask you about a job you did on November 9th with Lucas Roberts.
Hope: Or Horton. He could have used Horton.
Bo: He's got new twins.
Emily: Oh, he seemed to have some kind of family emergency.
Bo: Right. How long were you there that night?
Emily: Maybe an hour.
Bo: How did he seem that evening, especially when he came back?
Emily: Well, he seemed a little bit anxious, but with a family emergency, that's not surprising.
Bo: Right. Do you know if he had a gun?
Emily: No.
Hope: Do you remember anything else about that night or Mr. Roberts?
Emily: He seemed like a very nice man.
Bo: Yeah, yeah, he is. Thank you for the information. If we need anything else, we'll find you, okay?
Emily: Sure.
Hope: Sounds like everything Billie said was pretty accurate.
Bo: Yeah, sounds like it. [Cellphone rings] Hold on. Brady. All right, stay with him. Call me when you have anything.
Hope: What's going on?
Bo: Lucas went out the back door of Chez Rouge, took off in Kate's car.
Hope: He knows we're tailing him.
Bo: But he doesn't know that we're still with him. Kate's involved in this up to her nose.
Hope: Is she still at Chez Rouge?
Bo: That's our next stop. We got to put the screws to her.
Belle: Are you saying you're gonna have me arrested? Is that how you're gonna punish me?
Shawn D.: It's about doing the right thing.
Belle: Shawn, nobody needs to know how you happened to stumble upon that gun deal.
Shawn D.: So you want me to cover it up for you, or is it Philip that you want to protect?
Belle: This has nothing to do with Philip.
Shawn D.: Everything does. Every time I try to do something in my life and move forward, he's always there trying to push me back down and you're helping him. Whether you mean to or not, that is what is happening. Now, I'm not gonna do it. Not anymore. Look, it's got to end, Belle. We have talked about you and Philip. You cannot see him again -- you or Claire. There's not enough room in our marriage for Philip. No, Belle. You keep telling me that he is out of your life and that you realized he's not good for our marriage, and then you turn around and you do something like this? You've got to choose once and for all. You can't have us both. It's either Philip or it's me.
E.J.: You wouldn't believe it. Bloody thing's brand new and it doesn't even want to work.
Sami: Well, take it back.
Sami: Hey. What are you doing? E.J., you bastard. You have been spying on us.
E.J.: Hey, package for Horton?
Delivery Person: Lucas Horton?
E.J.: Yeah, that's me. I'm just looking in on my neighbor. Guy's in a wheelchair. You got to do what you can, right?
Delivery Person: Sign there.
E.J.: There we go. Thank you very much.
Delivery Person: You have a nice day, Mr. Horton.
E.J.: Wonderful, and you have a nice day, too. Ooh!
Belle: Okay, I know it was wrong of Philip and me to set it up so you'd find that gun, but --
Shawn D.: There's not "buts" about it.
Belle: Oh, okay. So that's it. You're just gonna lay down the law.
Shawn D.: I thought we already agreed that there's no room for Philip in our life. And then, suddenly, here he is, messing around with my career with you by his side.
Belle: We were trying to help you.
Shawn D.: Maybe you were, but I guarantee you that Philip wasn't. I want it over, Belle... once and for all. I'm going to bed.
Belle: Shawn?
Shawn D.: Belle, no, I'm tired of talking.
Belle: Shawn.
Shawn D.: What?
Belle: Do you...
Shawn D.: Do I what?
Belle: Do you want to be alone, or do you want me in your bed?
Shawn D.: Of course I do, but I'm just not sure that, that's where you want to be.
Belle: Shawn.
Shawn D.: Good night, Belle.
Kate: Lucas, it's me. Where are you? Did you get it? Are things better now? Call me as soon as you get this message. I'm still at Chez Rouge.
Bo: Problems?
Kate: No.
Hope: You seem upset.
Kate: No. No, I'm not upset. I'm just, uh...
Bo: Just what?
Kate: I'm just busy. I have been working really hard on this very big deal -- business deal -- after months of very delicate negotiations.
Hope: That's great. So, what's the deal?
Kate: Well, I'll tell you all about it after it's signed, sealed, and delivered, but actually, folks, I don't have time to chat right now.
Bo: That's okay. I really didn't want to chat about business.
Kate: Then what do you want, Bo?
Bo: Well, truth is, I'm a little confused. I was hoping you could clear something up for me.
Kate: [Sighs] Clear what up?
Bo: Why wouldn't you want to keep your son out of prison for the next 99 years or so, give or take?
Sami: Lucas.
Lucas: Where is it?
Sami: Where's what?
Lucas: What do you mean "where's what?" Where's my package? I went all the way over to the courier's office and Airmove Express said they delivered it here.
Sami: Lucas, nobody came here. Nobody delivered anything.
Lucas: That can't be. They said they delivered it. They said that somebody signed for it, so where the hell is my package, damn it?!
E.J.: They say big things come in small packages. And, Lucas, you're gonna have to forgive me, but I can't help but wonder exactly how big this little beauty is.
Kate: You know, there was a time that you were a lot more forgiving of my faults. Maybe you need to remember just how sweet that was.
Philip: You seem convinced we have this connection. Now's your chance to prove it.
Sami: What is inside that package we're looking for? I want to know right now.
