Bo: We want to make sure we get all the evidence, and then we'll to clean up. Yeah, yeah. I appreciate your help. Talk to you in the morning. Hey, I spoke to the fire marshal.

Billie: Does he know how the fire started?

Bo: We'll have more information in the morning.

Hope: I could tell them right now it was arson.

Bo: What makes you so sure?

Hope: The lock on the front door -- it was jimmied. There was a burnt-down candle. When I was upstairs changing Ciara's diaper, I heard someone run out the front door.

Bo: Do you have any idea who it might have been?

Hope: No, but obviously it's someone who has some kind of grudge against us.

Billie: Do you think it could have been Chelsea?

Hope: Why would you think Chelsea's involved? Oh, God, Bo, what aren't you telling me?

Abby: Nick, that was fast.

Nick: I ran all the way. What's wrong?

Abby: Jed called me. He's this guy in my class. He left me a message.

Nick: About Chelsea?

Abby: Yeah, he said she's locked herself in the office.

Nick: It's better than her skipping town.

Abby: Nick, what's worse? Hopping on a bus or having a total meltdown?

Nick: All because of me. You'd better let me in.

Abby: Wait, hold on.

Nick: What?

Abby: Before you open that door, you'd better figure out something to say to her.

Fr. Kelly: Kate, how good to see you.

Kate: Yes, well, it's been a while, hasn't it? Probably a little too long.

Fr. Kelly: I had a feeling you'd be here tonight.

Kate: Yes, I'm doing a reading for the wedding mass, so I thought I could use practice.

Fr. Kelly: I believe God called you here for another reason.

Kate: [Sighs]

Fr. Kelly: I'll be back with the readings.

Kate: Thank you.

Kate: Hey, Philip.

Philip: Hey.

Kate: Who you praying for?

Philip: Claire. I lit a candle for my little girl.

Kate: Oh, sweetie.

Philip: There's been some information, Mom. I don't know whether to believe it or not, but she may not be dead. She may be lost out there... somewhere I can't reach, and it's -- it's killing me.

Shawn D.: Help! Somebody! My little girl -- she's sick, and she needs a doctor. Is anybody here?

Duck: Who the hell are you?

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Duck: Hands where I can see them.

Shawn D.: I'm not armed.

Duck: Did I ask you to turn around?

Shawn D.: No, sir.

Duck: Bar's closed. I'm tired of beach rats helping themselves to my booze while I'm off duty.

Shawn D.: I wasn't trying to steal your booze.

Duck: You're trespassing on private property, and I don't miss ever.

Shawn D.: Listen, I am not a drunk or a thief. My girlfriend and my sick little girl are down on the beach. We got washed ashore in the storm. She needs a doctor. She needs medical attention, or she could die.

Duck: Show me.

Shawn D.: Will you put the gun down?

Duck: Lead the way, son.

Hope: Is Chelsea involved in this?

Bo: Hope, at this point, you know as much as I do.

Hope: But you called earlier thinking she may stop by.

Billie: Did she?

Hope: Not that I'm aware of.

Billie: Then she wasn't here.

Hope: Somebody was in this house.

Billie: The lock was jimmied. Chelsea has a key, right?

Bo: No, I took it away when we had that little falling-out.

Billie: Well, then, she would have rung the bell, knocked on the door, or something.

Hope: Not if she didn't want anyone to know she was here.

Billie: She wasn't here.

Hope: I'm not saying she was.

Billie: That's what you're implying.

Hope: You're the one who brought her name up to begin with.

Billie: She is gone. She's out of town. She told Bo she was at the bus station. She's probably halfway to anywhere by now.

Hope: What would make Chelsea leave town?

Bo: She, um, and Nick had a little disagreement.

Hope: I don't even know she was talking to him again after that whole Dr. Shane Patton fiasco.

Billie: They've become close.

Hope: Close. More than just friends.

Billie: Something bad happened. Something really bad happened, and she left, okay? She ran away.

Hope: Well, what did Nick do to her?

Bo: You know how kids are. They have an argument, and suddenly they kiss and make up.

Hope: And then they just leave town, right? Come on, you guys. Give me more credit than that. You really want me to believe that Chelsea left town, possibly after she tried to burn down my house with me and the baby in it, all because she had a fight with her boyfriend? Bo. What --

Billie: It was me, okay? I'm the reason that Chelsea ran away. I had a one-night stand with Nick.

Abby: Nick, what are you waiting for?

Nick: You're right. What could I possibly say to her? "Chelsea, it was a one-time thing. Chelsea, your mom was drunk." I'm an idiot.

Abby: Yeah, and she'll agree with you and slam the door in your face. Let me go see what you're getting yourself into. [Knock on door] Chelsea, it's me -- baby. Can I come in?

Chelsea: [Voice breaking] Just you?

Abby: Yeah, it's just me.

Chelsea: [Sniffles] What do you want?

Abby: The whole town has been looking for you. You need to go home.

Chelsea: Home? Back to Billie's Bordello?

Abby: That's not fair to your mom.

Chelsea: Life isn't fair. My mom -- my mom... once a whore, always...

Abby: Chelsea, she loves you.

Chelsea: My mom? The de-virginator? Scratch that. I don't have a mom.

Abby: Don't say that.

Chelsea: Abby, I mean it. She is dead to me.

Abby: Okay, so what are you gonna do?

Chelsea: I don't know. I haven't figured it out yet, but probably get enough money to leave this stupid town and go someplace far away. Maybe --

Nick: You cannot run away. I won't let you.

Chelsea: You said you were alone!

Abby: I said it was just me. Nick was outside.

Chelsea: I don't believe this. I am surrounded by liars.

Abby: Chelsea, I was just trying to help.

Chelsea: You call this helping?!

Abby: I thought you and Nick would come to an understanding.

Chelsea: Yeah, I understand. I understand a little too well. I understand that I never want to see Nick Fallon's lying face again.

Hope: You slept with your daughter's boyfriend?

Bo: Take it easy, Hope.

Billie: No, let her go. I deserve it.

Hope: Yes, you do. I cannot believe -- are you that desperate?

Billie: Yeah, as a matter of fact, I was, 'cause I just got dumped by a guy that I thought cared about me, so I drank a bottle of wine. And poor Nick happened to show up before I had the good sense to pass out.

Hope: So she goes and has sex with him?

Billie: What, never happened to you, Hope? It happened once, and we both swore it would never happen again.

Hope: And since secrets have a way of getting out, what, Chelsea decides to pay you back by setting our house on fire with me and the baby inside?

Billie: For your information, she is Bo's daughter, too. And for the record, I have sacrificed everything for her, while you have made it quite clear that you don't want her anywhere near your happy home.

Bo: Hold on. Let's take it easy. Before we get too hysterical or jump to conclusions, let's talk to Chelsea, okay?

Hope: I'm sorry. I'm sorry for judging you. It's just really hard to believe that you would sleep with your daughter's --

Billie: I know, and I blame myself. I take full responsibility for what happened, but Chelsea is out there, in the cold, all alone, and she will not accept my help, so who's gonna help her?

Bo: Billie, I'll help her.

Hope: Of course I'll help her.

Chelsea: Get out of here.

Nick: You have every right to be mad at me.

Chelsea: Who the hell are you to be reading me my rights?!

Nick: Listen to me.

Chelsea: I don't want to.

Abby: Chelsea, just try and listen to Nick.

Chelsea: Why? So he can lie to me again, spin another fantasy? Been there, remember? Dr. Patton? You want to feed me more crap about how you accidentally slept with my mother?

Nick: Chelsea, I have been a very good friend to you.

Chelsea: Yeah, Nick, that's what makes this so hard. That's what sucks. You've been a great friend. In fact, you've been amazing. You made me believe in myself. You made think that great things can happen, even to people like me. You've been a freakin' superhero.

Nick: I wanted to be your hero. I still do.

Chelsea: Yeah, well, don't hold your breath. You're nothing to me but a liar, and that sure as hell doesn't spell "superhero" to me.

Nick: I'm a human being. I screwed up. I made mistakes.

Chelsea: Yeah, I'll say. Because of you, I have a porn running through my head of my boyfriend and my mom doing it.

Nick: Your boyfriend? Most of the time, you treated me like crap, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Yeah, well, I guess that just goes to show that you should always trust your first impressions, right?

Nick: I trusted mine, Chelsea, and I still think that you are the most amazing woman I have ever met.

Chelsea: Live with it and suffer, because we're done. I don't want anything from you.

Nick: What about this?

Chelsea: What is that?

Nick: This is my debit card.

Abby: What are you doing?

Nick: I am proving to Chelsea that no matter how much she thinks she hates me or how big of a creep she thinks I am, I'm still here for you. If you want to skip town, take it. It's yours. Everything I've got.

Kate: It may seem hard to believe, but I always had such a sense of peace when I was a little girl in a church -- sitting with my parents, holding their hands.

Philip: It's a judgment on me. Why should Claire suffer for it?

Kate: Sweetie, you don't know that she is. You have to have hope.

Philip: Well, it's a lot to hold on to.

Kate: Well, I believe, if she's still alive, that someone somewhere is going to see her, they're going to recognize her from the Amber alerts and from all the news reports.

Philip: I don't think the Pacific Islands get the latest news from Salem -- if they even made it to one of them.

Kate: Honey, you don't know. You don't know. Miracles happen right when you least expect it.

Philip: I can't sit around and wait for an angel to bring Claire back to me. I even thought about bugging Marlena's phone or Bo's, in case Shawn and Belle really are alive and try to phone home.

Kate: So what stopped you?

Philip: Victor. He said illegal surveillance is too risky. So here I am, down on my knees, sending up unanswered prayers. I got to face it, Mom. I failed Claire.

Claire: [Crying]

Duck: That's one sick little girl you got there.

Belle: Look, Mr. --

Duck: Name's Duck.

Belle: Okay, Duck, do you have any medical training?

Duck: I picked up some stuff in Nam. I know how to clean and bandage a wound. She needs a real doctor.

Gabby: Dad, what's going on?

Shawn D.: It's our baby.

Belle: She has blood poisoning. We don't have any way to treat her.

Gabby: It's all right. Oh, she's burning with fever. Dad, go find Doc Mulder.

Duck: I don't know where to look.

Gabby: He's usually at the beach checking his lobster traps this time of the day, okay? You got to hurry. Le bébé pourrait mourir.

Belle: Wait, I speak French. You just said that Claire might die?

Gabby: Claire? What a beautiful name.

Claire: [Crying]

Gabby: It's okay. Shh. Here, take her temperature.

Belle: It's okay. Here. Okay, baby.

Shawn D.: What's that for?

Gabby: I'm getting Claire some cold compresses so we can take her temperature down, okay? I hope you guys' boat is in good working condition 'cause the closest hospital is a good two hours away.

Gabby: So where do you guys come from? Mainlanders on vacation?

Shawn D.: Claire's temperature is 103 and rising.

Belle: Oh, my God.

Gabby: I'll go get some washcloths.

Belle: Shawn, this cannot happen. After everything that we have survived, we cannot lose her to some stupid infection.

Shawn D.: Belle, we are not gonna lose her. The doctor's gonna be here any minute.

Belle: And what if the doctor asks who we are and where we came from?

Shawn D.: I doubt he's gonna care.

Belle: That girl was awfully curious.

Shawn D.: If anybody asks, we tell them we're here on vacation.

Belle: Yeah, we don't have any luggage. We don't have any passports.

Shawn D.: Belle, the first thing is that we take care of Claire. Then if us being here raises suspicion, we leave, and we go someplace where nobody asks any questions.

Bo: Thanks, man.

Hope: What did he say?

Billie: Damn it. I thought she would have come back here, but she didn't.

Bo: I just talked to Roman. He agreed to put out an unofficial report to be on the lookout for Chelsea.

Billie: Come on, Bo. Roman wouldn't put a "be on the lookout" unless --

Bo: Unless there was a reason. I convinced him that she was a witness to a crime.

Billie: But that's not true.

Bo: He doesn't know that.

Billie: Bo, hasn't she been traumatized enough without having the cops finding her and roughing her up?

Bo: All right. Tell me what to do, and I'll get her done.

Billie: I would like you to find our daughter before the cops do.

Chelsea: Smooth, Fallon. You hand me your debit card, which is virtually useless unless I have your pin number.

Nick: I'll give you my pin number. I'll go with you.

Chelsea: Yeah, okay, and then on the way, you make a wrong turn, and surprise -- we're on Billie's front doorstep.

Nick: Do you really think that I would do that to you?

Chelsea: Sell me out? Sure, why not? You've been a big, fat sucker so far.

Nick: I'm not lying to you. You --

Chelsea: Can trust you?

Nick: All right. You can drive.

Chelsea: You're damn right I will, and then once I get the money that I need, that's it. It's over. Goodbye. You'll never see me again. [Beeping]

Bo: I'm gonna go check Chelsea's usual hangouts. [Cellphone rings]

Billie: Let me know when you find out something -- anything.

Bo: Of course I will. Talk to me.

Abby: Uncle Bo, it's Abby.

Bo: Abby, where are you?

Abby: We found Chelsea. She's at Max's garage.

Bo: Awesome. Make sure she doesn't go anywhere. I'm on my way. Max's garage.

Hope: Thank God she didn't leave town.

Billie: I'm going with you.

Bo: That's a bad idea.

Billie: Bo, I'm her mother.

Bo: Yeah, and you're the last person she wants to see. We can't chance her taking off again.

Billie: You're right. All right. You're right. Just please bring her home.

Bo: Of course I will.

Hope: Bo, I just want to talk to you for a second, okay? Bo, do you believe that Chelsea started the fire?

Bo: Do I think Chelsea's trying to risk our lives?

Hope: What do your instincts tell you?

Bo: If you were to ask me a couple hours ago, I would tag this as one of Elvis Jr.'s stunts.

Hope: And now?

Bo: This fire has an amateur's prints all over it -- clumsy way the lock was jimmied, no use of an accelerant. If someone was out for revenge or they wanted to kill us, they would have burned our house down to the ground. But if someone was acting in the heat of the moment --

Hope: Then Chelsea's a likely suspect.

Bo: Yeah, if I'm going by the book. But if I'm going as her father... damn it, Hope, I wish I had those instincts -- the ones that say, "stick by your kid because you know in your heart she wouldn't do something like this." I try, but...but they're just not there.

Hope: She hasn't given you many reasons to trust her.

Bo: She's tried -- tried hard these last few months -- but what happened today probably set her back big-time.

Hope: What will you do when you find her?

Bo: I'll hug her. Tell her that I love her and that I'm sorry I made her doubt that. Hopefully, that will give her the strength to tell us the truth and not hide it like she usually does. I'm out of here.

Hope: Good luck.

Hope: Billie --

Billie: I know what you're thinking -- there's nothing I can do to take it back. I am the worst mother in the world.

Gabby: So I hope that wasn't too long.

Belle: I'm sorry. What was your name again?

Gabby: Oh, Gabriella. Gabby for short.

Belle: Gabby, I think I should hold her, and you can put the cold compresses on her.

Gabby: Okay, mama knows what's best, huh? Come here. See. There you go.

Claire: [Crying]

Belle: I know.

Gabby: That's gonna make you feel better.

Claire: [Crying loudly]

Shawn D.: What can you tell us about this doctor?

Gabby: He's the island doctor. He's really big on potions and old remedies.

Shawn D.: Why would he set up practice here? It's in the middle of nowhere.

Gabby: A doctor who's lost his license doesn't usually end up with a practice on Park Avenue. He goes where half the people who live on Tinda Lao are shunned, outcasts.

Belle: And the other half?

Gabby: Running from the law. No one looks for them here. Too much trouble, too much money. So which are you guys, by the way?

Belle: Excuse me?

Gabby: Outcasts or fugitives?

Belle: Um, no, we were just vacationing on his boat and Claire got really sick and this huge storm hit and we were washed overboard. I just don't like to talk about it.

Gabby: It's okay. Look, um, why don't you come upstairs to my room, and we can get you changed into some dry clothes. I don't want you to get pneumonia or anything, okay?

Shawn D.: It's a good idea.

Gabby: Come on. Follow me.

Claire: [Crying]

Shawn D.: Come on. It's okay, sweetheart. See? It's okay. Everything's gonna be fine. We're with friends now. Friends. At least daddy hopes so.

Kate: You were such a good person. You are a brave man. You are an accomplished man. I see no reason why you should consider yourself a failure.

Philip: That's simple. I don't have the right stuff.

Kate: Ah, ah, well, that smacks of a father-son talk Kiriakis style.

Philip: Dad was right.

Kate: No, your dad always thinks he's right. There's a big difference there.

Philip: He tried to make a man out of me.

Kate: He tried to make a man out of a man who just did two tours of duty in the Mideast?

Philip: You don't get it. Victor told me if I wanted to get Claire back, I'd have to be ruthless -- no mercy, no prisoners. And that's what I did. I chased after Shawn and Belle like a hound from hell. I updated my progress to Victor every day, and he was so damn proud of me... until I came home without Claire and had to face him -- not one step closer to bringing his granddaughter home as when I started. He could barely disguise his contempt.

Kate: Look, I'm gonna tell you something. You need to face the truth of this situation, and the truth is you are never going to satisfy Victor because he wants you to be just like him. And you're not, and you're never going to be.

Abby: Nick, where's Chelsea?

Nick: She's in the office getting her stuff together.

Abby: And then what?

Nick: Then we're going to the ATM., I'm driving her to the bus station, and she's taking the midnight bus to Chicago.

Abby: Nick, this is insane. Chelsea doesn't know anyone in Chicago. She has no job skills.

Nick: She worked in a lab.

Abby: For, like, a day. Chelsea needs a therapist, not a one-way ticket to a homeless shelter. Now, go stop her.

Nick: Do you want to stop by your mom's place first, get some clothes? It must be really freezing in Chicago.

Chelsea: No, I'll get what I need when I'm there. Give me your keys. All right, well, I'm out of here.

Abby: You're not going anywhere.

Chelsea: Who's gonna stop me?

Abby: I am.

Chelsea: What are you gonna do, tie me up?

Abby: Well, I did earn a badge in girl scouts for knot tying, so you'd better watch out.

Chelsea: Ooh, tough girl.

Abby: So...what do I get for being your best friend -- not even a "see you later, Abs," or, "have a nice life"?

Chelsea: I'll send you a postcard from the windy city.

Abby: Chelsea, you can't leave.

Chelsea: Look, thank you for the memories, Abby, but they're just not enough to keep me here.

Bo: How about your dad? Can I keep you here?

Claire: [Crying]

Mulder: Heart and lungs sound good. Is she allergic to penicillin?

Belle: No.

Mulder: You want to hold her, mama?

Belle: Come here, baby. You've always been such a champ when it comes to getting shots. It's okay. It's gonna be over before you know it.

Shawn D.: It's all done. Not even a peep. It's okay.

Belle: Not even a peep.

Shawn D.: Doc, is she gonna be all right?

Mulder: The penicillin should knock out the infection.

Belle: And if it doesn't, where do we find you?

Gabby: Easy to find him. It's a shack. Third dune on the right. Office hours are whenever the surf's not up, right, doc?

Mulder: That will be 50 bucks for the house call.

Shawn D.: Okay, uh, the thing is that we lost everything in the storm.

Gabby: It's not a problem. We'll pay.

Duck: What do you mean "we," gabby? I'm not giving them any money.

Gabby: You can take it out of my tips, okay, Dad? Here you go. Thanks.

Belle: Thank you so much, doctor.

Gabby: Hey, we should go to the kitchen, get Claire some food. I have some milk and bananas. You want to try some sugarcane?

Belle: I bet you'd like sugarcane.

Shawn D.: Sir, I don't know how to thank you.

Duck: No one's called me "sir" since my last hitch, sonny boy. So if you can't learn my name, then why don't you not say anything at all, huh? It's Duck. You got it? So when are you leaving?

Shawn D.: Well, I wasn't planning on heading back to the mainland until after Claire's 100%.

Duck: Where are you gonna live?

Shawn D.: I was thinking that we could stay here.

Duck: You're broke. How's that gonna work?

Shawn D.: I'll work in the kitchen, repairs, whatever you need.

Duck: Sorry, kid, you got my help and my 50 bucks, and that's all you're getting.

Chelsea: Way to go, tricky Nick. I can just feel that trust. Your whole ploy to take me down to the bank and get my "getaway money" -- that was just to keep me here until my dad got here.

Abby: Nick didn't call your dad, Chelsea. I did.

Chelsea: You called him?

Bo: She's just trying to look after you.

Chelsea: I don't need any looking after. What I need is to get out of this stupid town and away from all the people that have just made my life one big funfest.

Bo: Okay. If you felt that way, why didn't you stop by the house tonight? We could have talked about it.

Chelsea: I did, but somebody forgot to leave the light on for me. I wrote you a note, and I slipped it under the door.

Bo: I've got the police inventory. The list of the evidence gathered at the scene -- there was no note.

Chelsea: What scene? What are you talking about?

Bo: The fire that could have killed Hope and your baby sister tonight.

Kate: Philip, you cannot live your life to please Victor.

Philip: I owe him, Mom.

Kate: Oh, I see. So against your nature, you're going to try to be just like him?

Philip: What's wrong with that?

Kate: Look, I've known Victor a long, long time, and despite the fact that you're never going to be able to satisfy what he expects of you, he does love you very much, and he loves you for the man that you are. And though he'll never admit it, he loves you because of the fine man that you have become.

Philip: Some fine man. Yeah, I'm the guy who lost his wife and daughter.

Kate: Yes, that's the way it is right now, but you're not going to get them back by acting like Victor. Philip, you have a conscience. You have a good and a loving heart. You always have. Nothing's gonna change that. You're not like Victor. You never will be. I know that. It's time that you remember that. And I think I know just the way for you to begin.

Philip: So what exactly are you proposing?

Kate: Well, I think you need to extend an olive branch to Bo and Hope. I don't know. You can tell them that you've had a change of heart -- that you no longer want to pursue this all-or-nothing custody battle for Claire. You want to work out an agreement.

Philip: No, that'd be like giving up, like they won. A Kiriakis never surrenders.

Kate: Enough of that. What about a Roberts? Is Victor your only family? Have you forgotten that you have a mother and you have brothers and sisters who love you and love Claire just as much as he does? Honey, come on. You've tried it. You've followed in his footsteps, and what did it get you? Nothing.

Philip: I can't argue with that.

Kate: Okay, then. Look, I'm having dinner tomorrow night with Lucas and Sami and Billie, and it would make me so happy if you'd join us. Oh, come on. Come on. You need to change tactics. So what do you say? Are you willing?

Shawn D.: Listen, Duck, it would just be for a day or two. Belle and I will do whatever we can to help out.

Duck: I don't need any help.

Gabby: Ha! Don't be so stubborn. Both of us could use someone like Shawn around here.

Belle: I just told Gabby how great you are with anything mechanical -- boats, cars.

Duck: If he's so good with boats, how come he couldn't keep his own from sinking?

Gabby: You know, we've got plenty of vacant rooms here.

Duck: Don't make yourself too much at home. You hear me, sonny boy?

Billie: [Sighs] Here it is. The mistake that cost me my relationship with my daughter.

Hope: For what it's worth, I don't think you're a bad mother.

Billie: Thanks, but I think the facts speak for themselves.

Hope: You're not a saint. None of us are. But you know what, Billie? You got to look at these facts. I mean, all of a sudden, you find out you have a teenage daughter that you never knew you had. You put your whole life on hold so you could focus on Chelsea and her needs, and you know what? That says an awful lot.

Billie: Thank you. But the funny thing is Chelsea and I were just starting to learn to trust each other, and now she'll never trust me again. And ironically, since I found out about the fire, I don't think I can trust her.

Abby: So how did the fire start?

Bo: It's still under investigation.

Nick: Did the whole house go up?

Bo: No, the fire was confined to part of the living room. It was put out before any structural damage was done.

Chelsea: What about the baby?

Bo: Hope got your baby sister out of the house in time.

Chelsea: Okay. So everybody's cool. Accidents happen. There's no reason for me to stick around.

Bo: It was no accident. It was arson.

Chelsea: Oh, my God. Who would do something like that? I mean, seriously, it's so sick and twist-- oh, my God. You think I did it.

Belle: I have never seen her fall asleep that fast.

Shawn D.: She's been through a lot.

Gabby: Sleep is good for her. I'm sure she'll feel much better in the morning.

Shawn D.: We'll be out of here by then.

Belle: Shawn.

Shawn D.: We don't want to overstay our welcome. You've already put yourselves out enough for us.

Gabby: It's called hospitality, okay? Look, just ignore my dad. He's a crusty, old warhorse, but trust me -- his bark is much worse than his bite. You two get some rest.

Belle: Okay, I know it's dangerous to stay in one place for too long.

Shawn D.: All the more reason why we should leave this island.

Belle: It has been so long since we have slept in a real bed or had a roof over our heads. Can we please just take Gabby up on her offer? I-I will scrub the floors, okay? I will do the laundry. I will do whatever it takes. I just want to have a place that you and Claire and I can call home, even if it's temporary.

Shawn D.: Okay. We'll find a way to make this work.

Philip: That's a nice offer, Mom, but maybe you should run it past Lucas and Sami first. It might be a little uncomfortable if I showed up. I've barely talked to Billie since I've been back.

Kate: Billie is your sister.

Philip: Like that makes a difference?

Kate: Yes, that makes all the difference. Family is where you're always taken in. Don't forget that.

Philip: Thanks, but no thanks. I'm gonna deal with this myself. I don't need anyone's help.

Kate: Oh, please. Would you stop being such a martyr?

Philip: Well, this is the place for it.

Kate: Oh, cut it out. Come on, you've been talking for months now about how you want a family for Claire, and here I am, handing it to you -- handing a family to you, gift-wrapped, and you're just too pigheaded to accept it. I believe that Claire is coming back to you, and when she does, you're going to need a family. You're gonna need help, and you're gonna need support. So come to dinner tomorrow. That's laying the foundation -- laying the foundation before it's too late. Look, tomorrow night, 7:00, Chez Rouge, okay? I want to see you there.

Hope: Can I make a suggestion?

Billie: Go ahead.

Hope: Why don't we just wait until Bo gets back? He already has to say is to have us jumping to conclusions about Chelsea and the fire --

Billie: We can't help it, and neither can you. The minute we found out about the fire, we both thought it was Chelsea.

Hope: Bad habit.

Billie: Tell me about it.

Hope: Billie, look, I really don't know what happened tonight, and it certainly doesn't take much to point fingers, especially now, knowing how hurt and upset Chelsea is. But, Billie... life really is too short to keep holding on to the anger and the hurt. You got to let it go, otherwise the bottle's gonna be the only thing left keeping you company. And you don't want that.

Billie: No, I don't.

Hope: Then start forgiving yourself, not punishing yourself. Let's both shake those old bad habits together. Come on.

Chelsea: I don't believe this. You find out I knew about Nick and mom's disgusting affair, and the first thing you think of is that I'd set your house on fire? Trying to kill another Brady child -- because that's what I do when I'm pissed, right? Well, congratulations, detective, you solved it! And in record time, too.

Bo: Would you stop it? Stop it. This has nothing to do with Nick or your mother, and it sure as hell has nothing to do with Zack. This has to do with a crime that was committed at my house tonight that could have taken everything from me. Now, I need to know exactly when you were there, where else you went, and who you were with -- not the version according to Chelsea, but the God's honest truth.

E.J.: I make it a rule not to do any kind of business with psychotic arsonists. I either avoid them or eliminate them. What's it gonna be with you, eh?

Duck: You're wasting your time, honey. They're a couple. Leave the guy alone, huh?

Nick: I would die for you, Chelsea. It's probably what you want me to do right now.

Chelsea: You're right.

Steve: I got a knife. I'm gonna use it.
