Philip: Hey, look, pal, I'm paying you good money to find Shawn and Belle. You must have some idea where they went after they left the police station. [Knock on door] Hey, come in. No, it's just the maid. Start in the other room, will you?

Willow: I don't know. Depends on what you want me to do in there.

Philip: I got to go. Call me when you hear something, which better be soon. I thought I told you to disappear.

Willow: I knew you didn't mean it.

Philip: Get out, Willow. I don't have time for this now.

Willow: Okay, hotshot. Fine, I'll go. Too bad. Could have told you where Shawn and Belle are.

Lucas: So, it looks like will's basketball team, they might make the state tournament. You believe that? Come on. It's the state championship I'm talking about here. I think his game's really improved. I think that coach should give him more playing time. What do you think?

Sami: Yeah, you're right.

Lucas: You're not excited. Why aren't you excited? It's the tournament we're talking about.

Sami: I am. I am. I am really excited for Will, but I'm just thinking about something else.

Lucas: Something you want to talk about?

Sami: It's not important.

Lucas: Honey, if it's bothering you, it's important to me. Come on. Let's talk.

Sami: You'll think I'm crazy.

Lucas: Spit it out. Come on.

Sami: I just can't stop thinking about that TV shoot yesterday.

Lucas: You mean when you couldn't lift the beam? That's why you're stressed out right now?

Sami: It made me look really bad.

Lucas: It didn't make you look bad. Honey, you did it when it counted, all right -- when your adrenaline was pumping, when it was a life-and-death situation. Who cares about that TV show? It doesn't matter. Plus, you're pregnant. You shouldn't have been doing that in the first place.

Sami: So, you're not disappointed in me?

Lucas: Listen to me. I love you. I can never be disappointed in you. You saved my life. I'm walking around on two legs because of you, all right? So, don't worry about it.

Sami: Thanks, Lucas, but after that stupid episode of "Heroes Among Us" airs, you know, you're the only one who's gonna feel that way.

Lucas: Get out of town. Why would you say that? Come on.

Sami: Because everyone else will think it's a big crock -- all those awards and everyone being so proud of me. They're all gonna turn their backs on me.

Lucas: Who cares what other people think? You and I both know the truth. That's all that matters.

E.J.: It was at that point that Mr. Johnson completely lost control. The guy lunges at me, puts a knife to my throat. You can check. There was a lot of witnesses in that restaurant. You got plenty of people to back up the story.

Casarez: Then what happened?

E.J.: Okay, so, then, his wife comes in. She manages to calm him down a little bit. She pulls him off me, gets him out of there. Then, two minutes later, this guy comes slamming back through the door again. This time he's even crazier than he was before. He starts screaming, "I'm gonna kill you" and all this other nonsense. And then, the next thing you know, he starts charging at me, and that was when we went through the glass window.

Kate: E.J. [Gasps]

E.J.: Kate.

Kate: Oh, my God. Look at you.

E.J.: I guess you heard, eh? I got in a bit of a scuffle.

Kate: Yeah, I heard. One of our reporters told me about it, but he didn't tell me that Steve got the best of you.

E.J.: You haven't seen Steve, have you?

Kate: You know, you could have been killed going through that window.

E.J.: Yes, but it wasn't actually my idea, funnily enough. I was just explaining to the officer here that Steve Johnson just completely lost it. He went after me like a bull in a ring.

Kate: Ahh. Well, I assume he was arrested.

E.J.: Actually, we both were. But luckily for me, some of the patrons at Chez Rouge came forward and the charges against me were dropped.

Kate: Where's Steve now?

E.J.: In jail, I hope, and that's where he should stay. But I am flattered that you came down here to find out how I was doing.

Kate: Oh, well, I hate to burst your bubble, but actually, I'm here to see Roman.

E.J.: Really? Hmm.

Kate: Oh, on a matter that will remain private.

E.J.: Kate, I thought we were partners. I didn't think we had any secrets. I thought we were partners in everything.

Kate: Well... we haven't shared everything. And now that I know that you clearly cannot be trusted...

E.J.: I'm not sure if I like your attitude.

Kate: Hmm. Well, we're business partners, aren't we? And there's nothing I can do about that. I wouldn't push it. I think that would be a very big mistake.

Steve: I'm really sorry, baby. I just lost it.

Kayla: Yeah, I know. You've been losing it for weeks. But this time, you didn't get away with it. I want you to do something for me.

Steve: Anything, sweetness. What do you want me to do?

Kayla: Get help. I've been asking you for weeks, and I need you to do it. This has gone too far.

Steve: Baby, I had the MRI. It said there was nothing wrong with me.

Kayla: You know that's not what I'm talking about. We agreed that you needed psychiatric help. You said that you would talk to Marlena.

Steve: I'm gonna talk to Marlena as soon as I get a chance to --

Kayla: No more stalling. No more procrastinating. I want you to check yourself in to the psychiatric ward of University Hospital.

Steve: What?! Are you kidding me? There's no way. There's no way I'm gonna turn myself over to a bunch of cranial cowboys at the University Hospital. I'm not doing it.

Kayla: Well, you know what? You don't have a choice. You either get some help or you rot here in jail. Take your pick.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Philip: You know where Shawn and Belle are?

Willow: Yep, I sure do.

Philip: And I should take your word for this because?

Willow: Because you can't afFord not to, soldier. If you ever want to find your daughter, you have to check out every lead. And this one -- it's a beauty.

Philip: Okay. So, how is it that you have information that even my private detectives can't find?

Willow: I'm very resourceful.

Philip: Cut to the chase.

Willow: Okay, last night, when you kicked me out on my butt -- thanks a lot, by the way. Really appreciated it -- I spent the night in a safe house where Shawn and Belle were staying, met this guy named Merle.

Philip: Merle?

Willow: Yeah, he runs the place. Thought I was a runaway or whatever, so I played on his sympathies and got to talking, finally got the truth out of him.

Philip: Which is?

Willow: All yours for a price. You of all people should know nothing comes for free in this world.

Philip: You have the nerve to ask me for money after I caught you trying to rob me?

Willow: That was before I had anything to sell.

Philip: What about the 10 grand my father gave you?

Willow: I told you, it's gone.

Philip: Where?

Willow: None of your business.

Philip: All of this is my business. What'd you blow the money on so fast?

Willow: I didn't blow it. I paid for my brother's school.

Philip: Yeah, right. Where, Harvard? Yale?

Willow: Okay, so you don't believe me. You know what? I have a money wire right here. Paid for his Spring semester.

Philip: Hmm. Touching. Working girl puts brother through school. Have you sold the movie rights?

Willow: Shut up. He's a good kid. He's not like me. Anyway, I wanted to say that I'm sorry for going through your stuff and trying to rip you off. I was mad and desperate. Still doesn't make it right. It won't happen again.

Philip: You bet it won't. I don't need you, Willow. I can find Belle, Claire, and Shawn on my own.

Willow: God.

Philip: What's the matter with you?

Willow: I think I'm gonna be sick. Oh.

Lucas: Forget about this stuff. We got a little time before I got to go to work. Let's go to the bedroom and create some magic.

Sami: Lucas, I don't think that's a good idea.

Lucas: Why not?

Sami: 'Cause, honey, you're not dressed. You're not ready. You don't want to be late for your first day of work.

Lucas: It's good that I'm not dressed. Come on. Who cares if I'm late for work? E.J. can wait, all right? I can't. But obviously you can, right?

Sami: No, no, it's not you. It's not that.

Lucas: What, it's that whole TV thing? That's what's got you upset? Look, honey, let's -- do something fun today, all right? I'll slip you a little cash. You go buy yourself something nice, something satiny, something for daddy later.

Sami: [Laughing] Stop it.

Lucas: Come on -- a little retail therapy. It'll do you good.

Sami: Lucas, that won't help, but I know what will.

Lucas: What are you doing? Whoa, whoa. Who are you calling?

Sami: I am gonna call the producer -- Harry. I'm just gonna ask him to edit out that part of the show when I was struggling. Yeah, hi. I need the number for Extreme TV. It's a cable network. I'm gonna fix this before it blows up in my face.

Kate: Roman, I'd like you to meet Dr. Walter Brower. He's a professor of physics at M.I.T. Professor, Commander Roman Brady.

Walter: Pleased to meet you, Commander.

Roman: Yeah, me, too. Why are you here?

Kate: Well, the professor is actually my expert witness. He has something very interesting to tell you.

Roman: About?

Kate: About some video footage I have. I think you're going to find it illuminating.

Roman: Kate, what the hell is this?

Kate: See for yourself. Play the DVD.

Roman: What the...

Bruce: Good, Sami. Very convincing.

Roman: All right, this is the cabin where Sami saved Lucas. Why is there a DVD of this?

Kate: Well, actually, if you look a little closer, you'll see it's a re-enactment that we shot yesterday for a cable-TV show.

Roman: A what?

Kate: Roman, that line about the TV show, that's not important. What is important is the professor's assessment of what was going on there. And as you can see, Sami could not lift up that beam.

Walter: Nor, in my opinion, could she ever. I've studied that footage very carefully, and I am convinced that, that young woman, even with a massive surge of adrenaline, could not have moved such an enormous object by herself. It's quite simply impossible.

Kate: Now, I find that very interesting, don't you?

Steve: Well, if leaving here means I got to commit myself to the house that nutjob built, I'd rather just stay right where I am.

Kayla: You know what? It's not a nuthouse.

Steve: Okay, whatever it is, it's still a lockup, baby. At least in here they won't be grilling me about my lousy childhood while I'm weaving little pot holders.

Kayla: You know what? This is not funny.

Steve: I'm not laughing.

Kayla: You know what? I'm not buying your devil-may-care attitude anymore. I know that you are as worried about what's going on inside of you as I am. And you know what? As much as I had hoped that these episodes would just go away, they're not going away. In fact, whatever's going on inside of you is getting worse, to the point that it's out of control. You are out of control.

Steve: Wells only got what was coming to him.

Kayla: I don't care about him. What if the next time this happens, that person didn't have it coming to them? What if it's me?

Steve: Baby, I would never hurt you. Don't you know that?

Kayla: I don't know anything anymore. Your word -- it means nothing -- not on this subject.

Steve: So, what do you want from me? What do you expect me to do?

Kayla: I told you what I want. I want you to deal with this. I want you to admit that you have no power over it. I want you to think about me and Stephanie and our life together. Is it worth the price of our future for you to be so stubborn and pigheaded?

Steve: Look who's here.

Kayla: Benjy.

Steve: Hey. What are you doing here, Benjy?

Kayla: I read about what happened to you in the paper. I wanted to see if you were all right. Well, that's nice of you, Benjy. Maybe you could talk to this stubborn, bullheaded husband of mine.

Steve: She's worried about me. Kayla, would you give Benjy and me a couple minutes alone?

Kayla: Sure.

Steve: You're worried, huh? So am I.

Sami: You're absolutely positive? There couldn't have been some sort of mistake? No, no, no, there's no one else who can help me. Thank you. [Telephone beeps]

Lucas: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Take it easy. Whoa, what happened? He said no, he couldn't cut the footage?

Sami: I didn't talk to him.

Lucas: Probably too important to take your call, right?

Sami: No. No, the opposite. He's so unimportant that he doesn't even exist.

Lucas: What are you talking about?

Sami: I called the cable company. They've never heard of him. The network said they don't know the director either. And that show that I was supposed to be on, "Heroes Among Us," it was canceled.

Lucas: What do you mean canceled?

Sami: Lucas, it was a scam. I was set up again by your mother.

Walter: In addition, the woman trying to move the beam in the video appears to have no understanding whatsoever of how a fulcrum works -- a fulcrum being a support or point of support on which a lever turns in raising or moving an object.

Roman: I know what a fulcrum is, professor.

Walter: Pardon me, commander. I'm sure you do.

Kate: Go on, professor.

Walter: Yes, well, this young lady appears confused and totally off-balance. What's more, I should think it doubly impossible to accomplish such a feat after, according to her oft-told story, she trekked through miles of snow, marched up and down the highway, was unable to find help, and trekked all the way back to the cabin, surely in a state of exhaustion. Frankly, the very idea of it boggles the mind.

Kate: It certainly does. Thank you. Thank you, professor. And I don't want to keep you. I know you have a plane to catch.

Walter: Well, I hope I've been of help.

Kate: More than you know. Thank you again.

Walter: Yes. Commander, very nice to have met you.

Roman: Yeah, you have a safe flight, professor.

Walter: Thank you. Goodbye.

Kate: Bye.

Roman: [Chuckles] Oh, Katie. Katie. What the hell are you up to now?

Steve: You don't know what I'm talking about, how this all started with you? You're telling me you don't remember the night we had dinner, all of us together? And that same night, you ran me down at the hospital. I think you put something in my hand, Benjy. And then you know what you did? You kissed me on both of my cheeks, and you booked out of there as fast as you could go. You don't remember that, huh? That's where all this started with me. What was that thing you put in my hand? Do you remember what that was? You don't know anything? Benjy, don't do that. Don't lie to me. I can see you're scared. Somebody obviously put you up to this. Who was that? Look at me. I'm dying here. I need answers or I could lose Kayla -- everything. Now, if either one of us ever meant anything to you, you'll tell me what you know.

Lucas: My mom roped you into doing a phony TV show? Why would she do that, huh?

Sami: I don't know. She just gets her kicks out of humiliating me, I guess.

Lucas: I can't believe her. I can't believe she'd do this. She promised us.

Sami: I know. Well, she lied, obviously just to get me to go along with that shoot. Lucas, she is up to her old tricks, and who knows what she's gonna do next.

Kate: What I'm up to is righting a wrong. You can keep that disk as evidence.

Roman: Evidence of what?

Kate: Roman, Sami didn't lift that beam off Lucas' legs. The beam on that disk, it was half the weight of the original beam. I moved it. Sami couldn't budge it.

Roman: Kate, let me ask you -- where did you get this DVD?

Kate: A producer friend of mine. He heard about Sami's story. He wanted to do it for this cable show he has about heroic rescues and such.

Roman: Uh-huh. Well, go ahead. Go on. Talk to me.

Kate: So, I hooked them up. I hooked the two of them up. But I was there. I was there when they filmed it, okay? And I was just as horrified as everyone else was at how much Sami had embellished that story, like I originally said she had.

Roman: Kate, I always know when you're lying.

Kate: And I have always hated that about you. No wonder our marriage didn't work.

Roman: And now you are changing the subject.

Kate: Fine. Okay. Fine, fine, fine. There was no producer. There was no show. But that doesn't matter, okay? I hired a bunch of people and I set it up and I made it legit to fool Sami.

Roman: Why in the hell would you do something like that?

Kate: To expose her, Roman. To expose her lies. She didn't save Lucas' life, okay? And everyone should know that.

Roman: Oh, my God, Kate. How much did this cost you, this little production, this fake film crew, the equipment, the Ivy League show? I'm curious. How much did this cost you?

Kate: Oh, my God. What difference does it make? It doesn't make any difference. I don't care. It's worth every single penny if the truth comes out. Roman, the police department -- my God -- they awarded her a medal for being a Good Samaritan. She accepted it, okay? I think that constitutes fraud right there.

Roman: Whoa right there. I don't need you to tell me the law, okay?

Kate: [Sighs] She made a fool of you, Roman. She made a fool of you and the police department and everyone at that ceremony, including Lucas and Will. And I don't think she should get away with that. And I'm going to make sure she doesn't.

Steve: You'll tell me everything you know. Good. I'm listening. The thing you gave me was a tarot card -- devil card. You didn't know what it was for. Stefano gave the order. He told you to hook back up with me and Kayla. You'd give me the card at the proper time. Kid, I wish you'd have come to me. I would have helped you. I would have kept you safe. No one safe from Stefano. I should know that better than anyone.

Roman: Nothing's changed, has it, Kate? You still hate Sami as much as you always did.

Kate: God. Because Sami hasn't changed, all right? Now, I know you're disappointed by that. I know you wanted to believe that you could finally trust and believe in your daughter. But, Roman, after looking at that DVD, I mean, you got to have some questions. You have to wonder about what really happened that night.

Roman: Kate, what the hell are you driving at now?

Kate: Everyone knows that E.J. Wells was in the vicinity of that cabin the same night, all right? And everyone knows there was something going on between E.J. and Sami.

Roman: And that should be something that you are real familiar with.

Kate: Look, Sami didn't move that beam. Someone helped her.

Roman: E.J.?

Kate: Mm-hmm.

Roman: Kate, come on. Come on. That's a stretch, even for you.

Kate: [Sighs] You know what my theory is?

Roman: What?

Kate: They had a rendezvous. She was gonna help him get through the roadblock. And then he helped her save Lucas. And if that's true, she aided and she abetted a felon.

Roman: Now you are being absolutely ridiculous.

Kate: No, I don't think it's ridiculous. I think it's the only plausible excuse. And the reason she lied about the rescue of Lucas is because she knows she'd go to jail. Roman, just bring her down here. Bring her down here and question her, all right? Put her under the lights. Interrogate her. Maybe the truth will come out.

Roman: Kate, I have already talked to Sami about E.J. Hell, I talked to everybody. Sami had nothing to do with E.J. getting away.

Kate: You're her father, and you don't want to believe she could be lying. You want to believe it's the truth. But I'm telling you she's hiding something. And if that's all she's hiding, that'd be a big surprise.

E.J.: Well good? Excellent.

Lucas: She's totally happy about the baby.

Sami: Lucas, I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Lucas: Honey, I don't think she's out to sabotage you. [Telephone rings] Don't worry about it. Hello?

E.J.: Lucas, it's E.J.

Lucas: Hey, E.J. I was just on my way into the office.

E.J.: Don't bother. I need you to come down to the police station immediately. And do me a favor -- will you call my attorney, Mr. Mathison? Have him meet us here as soon as possible.

Lucas: Whoa. What's this all about? What happened?

E.J.: I'll fill you in on the details when you get down here, eh?

Lucas: All right, I guess I'll see you soon. I got to meet E.J. at the police station.

Sami: What? Why? Why is he there again?

Lucas: I don't know. I'm sure it's not good, though. I love you guys. Don't worry about my mom, all right? Everything's gonna be fine. I don't know what she's up to, but I'll find out, okay? Don't jump to any conclusions, either.

Steve: You were threatened. You're afraid something's gonna happen to you or your family. That's why you brought your wife along to dinner that night. You wanted me and Kayla to see what was at stake for you. What about what was at stake for me, for my family? You were hoping that the card was just meant to scare me, that it didn't mean anything? Benjy... the minute you gave it to me, you knew you were in over your head. You got to tell me where all of this is leading. You got to tell me what they're trying to do to me. You have no idea, just like you had no idea about the card, huh? You told me everything -- you swear. Everything? Let me tell you something -- if you're lying to me, I'm gonna tear you apart, you hear me?

Kayla: Come on. Haven't you caused enough damage? Stop. Please.

Willow: Sorry about that. That came on suddenly.

Philip: If you're sick, go see a doctor.

Willow: I'm not sick, charm boy. I'm pregnant.

Philip: Congratulations. I'm guessing it's not the first time?

Willow: Actually, it is. This pregnancy is very special to me. That's why I need the money.

Philip: How do I know this isn't just another one of your scams?

Willow: I can go to the drugstore right now and pick up a test if that's what you need.

Philip: Don't bother. Even if you are pregnant, why should I pay your bills? Why not go to whatever John knocked you up and hit him with a paternity suit?

Willow: It wasn't a trick. It's Shawn's. He's my baby's father.

Philip: Shawn is this kid's father? God, what a hypocrite. He goes on and on about being a great father, but he bails on the kid that he's having with you?

Willow: He doesn't know about the baby yet.

Philip: You haven't told him?

Willow: He left town before I could, not that he would care anyway. You want to hear something funny, though? I told his mom, thought that maybe she could make him care. I remembered how she got onto his case to be a good father to Claire, be responsible for his kid. Thought maybe she'd do the same for ours, but she just told me where to go, so that's my story. Now I'm all alone. I don't have a job or insurance or anyone to take care of us. I don't know what to do.

Philip: Spare me the crocodile tears and your sob story because I am really not interested.

Willow: God, you are one cold SOB.

Philip: Hey, wait a minute.

Willow: What?! What do you want?!

Philip: On second thought... maybe I am interested. You could be of some use after all.

Steve: I'm sorry, Benjy. I didn't mean what I said. This is all just starting to get to me.

Kayla: I love you, too, Benjy. What did he mean that he was sorry for his part in this and that he hopes that someday you'll forgive him?

Steve: He admitted to me that Stefano sent him here. The thing he gave me at the hospital was some kind of devil tarot card. Maybe that's what started all this.

Kayla: Oh, God.

Steve: Benjy did this, Kayla. He betrayed us.

E.J.: I need two copies of my statement, please -- one for myself, one for my attorney.

Casarez: That shouldn't be a problem.

E.J.: Excellent. Benjy! Ah-ah-ah-ah. Where are you off to in such a hurry, eh? Officer, could I get those copies of my statement now, please? My attorney is on his way.

Casarez: I'll be right back.

E.J.: So, did you talk to Steve? Hmm. Really? Are you sure about that? Interesting. He didn't ask you for any information? I find that very hard to believe. You better be telling me the truth, Benjy. If you know anything, you should tell me right now. You told him about the tarot card... that you were ordered to give it to him. Anything else? Well, I hope that you are not lying to me because I have my eye on you and your family. And if I find out that you're gonna betray me or my family, it'll be the last thing you ever do. Comprende?

Philip: Willow, I want to make you a deal. I'll take care of you, cover your expenses, medical or otherwise, during your pregnancy. I'll even give you a great place to stay.

Willow: In exchange for what?

Philip: You have to do as I say when the baby comes.

Willow: If you want me to give my baby away, that's not happening.

Philip: The baby's not going anywhere. He or she is too much of an asset.

Willow: What do you mean?

Philip: I haven't worked all the details out just yet, but call it quid pro quo. Shawn has my baby. I have his, at least for the time being.

Willow: What does this little plan of yours, whatever it is, leave me?

Philip: Very well taken care of. So, what do you say? We got a deal?

Willow: Yeah. I think it might work.

Philip: Only if you do what I say.

Willow: Understood.

Philip: Starting when we get back to Salem, I'm gonna take you to the hospital and make sure you really are pregnant. Then I'm gonna get an amnio done and make sure the kid's really Shawn's.

Willow: Anything else?

Philip: Yes. If I ever catch you trying to steal from me or my father, trying to pull a fast one behind our backs, I'll kick you out on the street so fast your head will spin. I don't give a damn about you or your brat, you got it?

Willow: Sure like to play rough, colonel.

Philip: I've been crossed and double-crossed so many times by people I've trusted, I'm not gonna make that same mistake again, even with some little whore like you. Hey.

Willow: Call me that again and the deal is off. I will not be treated like garbage.

Philip: Fine.

Willow: Apologize. 'Cause God knows, if you don't, you will never see your daughter again.

Philip: I'm sorry.

Willow: Thank you.

Philip: Now tell me what you know about Belle and Shawn.

E.J.: Now, not only do I intend to press criminal charges. I also wish to launch a civil suit against Mr. Johnson for assault and another one against his wife, Kayla, for negligence.

Lucas: I'm sorry, did you say negligence? Kayla? Come on.

E.J.: She's a doctor, Lucas. She had plenty of warning. She knew that he was unstable, and she didn't do anything.

Lucas: Yeah, but I don't know if we can hold her accountable for all that, you know?

E.J.: Lucas, let me give you a little word of advice, okay? If you want to continue working at Mythic, you would do well not to question me, okay? Okay, gentlemen, let's get to work, shall we?

Kayla: I can't help but feel that Benjy must be a victim of Stefano's, just like we are.

Steve: I wish there was something I could do to help him and his wife and his little kid.

Kayla: Listen, you need to help yourself right now.

Steve: What are they trying to do to me, Kayla?

Willow: So, this is what I know -- according to that guy Merle, Shawn, Claire, and Belle all got fake I.D.’s and booked a passage on a cruise ship. They're out in the middle of the ocean right now.

Philip: On what ship? Where are they heading?

Willow: That he wouldn't tell. I'm sorry.

Philip: That's okay. I'll find them. One way or another, I'll track them down.

Willow: I know you will. Maybe by then I'll be showing.

Philip: Yeah, we'll send him a picture, show him what he's missing, reel him right back in.

Sami: Yeah, I need to speak to Kate Roberts. When do you expect her in? Well, you're her secretary. You must have some idea. Wait, hold on. I have another call. Hello?

Roman: Yeah, Sami, it's your dad.

Sami: Daddy, hi. What's up?

Roman: I want you to come down to the station. We need to talk.

Sami: Why? What's it about?

Roman: I've just got a few more questions about the night that you saved Lucas' life.

Sami: Dad, this is about Kate, isn't it? Don't listen to her. She's just trying to stir up trouble.

Roman: And I am trying to prevent it, so get on down here, Sami. Get on down here right now.

Kayla: Steve, you need to get help. Check yourself in to the hospital. Let them put you under hypnosis. Let them help you look for some answers. You know, I, um... I know that you're a proud man and to just turn yourself over to somebody and face the unknown -- it's not gonna be easy. But I want you to know that I am gonna be with you every step of the way. I promise you that. I will do whatever it takes to help you get through this. I love you. Please. Do this for me. Do it for us.

Steve: Okay, baby. After the arraignment, I'll... I'll commit myself.

Kayla: Thank you.

E.J.: I think you'll find that we have a very strong case, especially once you depose all the witnesses at Chez Rouge.

Man: So it would seem.

E.J.: Good. It's about time I got some justice in this town, eh? I've been far too forgiving of everybody up until now. I'm not taking it anymore. From now on, anybody who crosses me is gonna get exactly what they deserve.

John: Got to tell you what E.J. said the night of the shooting.

E.J.: Do I hear the sound of a damsel in distress?

Kayla: That is what you're afraid of, isn't it -- that you might hurt me?

Sami: [Crying] You want to know my secrets, Kate? I'm gonna find out yours.

Marlena: I don't care about the arrangements. My husband is staying right here, and that's my final word.
