Bo: Thanks for helping.
Billie: Most everybody don’t believe that you beat up Lockhart.
Bo: Hope does.
Billie: Hey, she's confused. When I talked to her, she was angry that Chelsea took that picture of us.
Bo: Ah, well, Hope has lost all confidence in me thanks to our lovely little daughter.
Roman: I am not defending Chelsea, but it would probably be a good idea if you two kept your clothes on at all times when you're together. Just a suggestion.
Bo: Thanks for that, bro.
Billie: Yeah.
Roman: I don't think you did anything, but to most folks, a picture is worth a thousand words. That's all I got to say.
Bo: Well, Hope won't let me say anything. She won't talk to me at all.
Roman: I'll get your personal effects up from booking. Then you can go. Just don't go too far.
Bo: Oh, yeah. All right.
Billie: Hey. Hope's gonna come around, okay?
Bo: Well, she wasn't at the arraignment.
Billie: That's because Patrick is working her. He's making her feel guilty. It scares me how wrong I was about that guy.
Bo: I wish Hope would wise up, too.
Billie: She let you move back in. You guys are working on your relationship, and once she realizes that Patrick is lying about you beating him up --
Bo: I've made threats against his life. He'll use that to build a case against me.
Billie: Nobody saw anything. It's your word against his. And Hope is way too smart --
Bo: Like Roman said, a picture's worth a thousand words.
Patrick: [Exhales sharply]
Bonnie: Baby, I could have helped you get dressed.
Patrick: I can dress myself.
Bonnie: Are they being stingy with your pain meds? You're awfully grumpy..
Patrick: You know what would cheer me up? If I could find out who took the money from me. Have you had any leads yet?
Bonnie: No, I asked around. Nobody fessed up. You know, whoever took your money probably already spent the 3 g's anyway.
Patrick: Oh, how did you know I had 3 grand?
Bonnie: You told me.
Patrick: No, I told the nurses I accused right before you came in the room.
Bonnie: Then I guess one of them told me. You know, you can't go around accusing whole groups of people. It's just rude.
Patrick: Yeah, right, Mom. That's fine and dandy. Just give it back, okay?
Bonnie: What, me? Your money? I didn't take your dough.
Patrick: It's a little bit of a coincidence, don't you think? I've had money taken from me twice -- once at home and once here. And both times, you were there.
Bonnie: That's it. I come in here to help you, and you call me a thief. I've had it with you.
Hope: Hi. Oh, sorry. If this is a bad time, I'll come back.
Patrick: Actually, it's not. My mother was just leaving.
Bonnie: Yes, to get your release papers. I'll be back as soon as they're ready.
Hope: I didn't know you were being released today.
Patrick: Well, I raised hell so they'd release me early. I figured I'd spend some time with the people I care about -- you. So, what do you say? Do you want to grab lunch?
Hope: I came to ask for a favor. Please drop the charges against Bo.
Mimi: Mom! Mom.
Bonnie: Mimi, they're releasing Patrick today. Isn't that great?
Mimi: Yeah, but actually, I came here to see you. I need some money.
Bonnie: Money! That's all my kids ever think about. Where did I go wrong?
Mimi: Max thinks he's found Philip in a V.A. Hospital in Atlanta. I need to fly down there and bring him home. I need the airfare.
Bonnie: What, from me?
Mimi: I'll pay you back.
Bonnie: Oh, honey, I'm sorry. I don't have two nickels to rub together.
Mimi: Well, you can keep your nickels. Give me some of the cash that you stole from Patrick.
Lucas: Incoming. Get the cheese.
Sami: Aah!
Lucas: You love the cheese. You've never gonna grow if you don't eat your cheese.
Sami: Stop it. This is my favorite scene.
Lucas: You just keep eating. Forget about this movie.
Sami: Oh, stop. No, this is the best part.
Lucas: You could have written this yourself, you've seen it so many times.
Sami: Don't turn it off now! I wanted to see the ending.
Lucas: It's a movie. Julia Roberts has got twins in real life, and Richard Gere's Buddhist or something.
Sami: You promised we were gonna watch a movie.
Lucas: I didn't think you'd take me seriously. I never wanted to watch that stupid movie. I'd rather do something like this. [Whispering]
Sami: Lucas! You are a bad boy.
Lucas: Very bad. You have no idea. It's just the way you like me, isn't it?
Sami: Yeah, maybe.
E.J.: Kate, we've got the drivers. We've got the race cars. Let's get the season running. We'll put the drivers on the show.
Kate: I think you should be on the show. With all that passion, and you're totally irresistible, I think you would make the perfect representative for the division.
E.J.: Well, thank you for the vote of confidence, darling, but unfortunately, my reputation is a tad tarnished.
Kate: What? Roman and Abe declared publicly that you were innocent.
E.J.: Not exactly. They said they didn't have enough evidence to make the charges stick. Not even my feeding the homeless at Thanksgiving has completely rehabilitated my image. Now, what we need is -- we need a woman.
Kate: So, you're saying a female driver.
E.J.: Not a driver necessarily. We need the type of girl who can go out there and grab the boys by their --
Kate: All right, I'll do it.
E.J.: No, please. I couldn't possible spare you. Kate, I need you where I can see you -- behind the scenes, working your magic. The person we need for this position is somebody -- somebody who's more a talking head, who doesn't have a lot between their ears.
Kate: So, who do you have in mind?
E.J.: Samantha. Sami Brady.
Kate: I know who you're talking about. You know, I do find it very difficult to say no to you, but if you are serious about bringing Samantha Brady into this company, it will be over my dead body.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Kate: Sami Brady as Mythic's spokesperson. And you were worried about your tarnished reputation. [Chuckles]
E.J.: She's already on the payroll, Kate.
Kate: What do you mean?
E.J.: I mean she worked for Austin Reed and Company.
Kate: [Scoffs] So when we bought out Austin, we got Sami?
E.J.: Exactly. She was transferred to us as soon as we incorporated with Austin.
Kate: Oh, I see. So she's been dining out on Mythic money now for who knows how long without doing a damn thing. I feel ill about the whole thing -- ill.
E.J.: Think of this as an investment -- one that Mythic is now going to collect. Kate, you're a damn smart business woman. Stop thinking about this as giving Sami money. We are using Samantha Gene Brady to move Mythic products to the pizza-eating, beer-drinking, race-car loving public, and you know as well as I do she's damn perfect.
Kate: Okay, here's harsh reality for you. I am co-owner of this company, and I am saying no. Do you have that? No.
Lucas: I want you bad, crazy.
Sami: Me too.
Lucas: I haven't been able to think about anything but you.
Sami: And sex.
Lucas: With you. Days... do you know how many hours that is?
Sami: Well, 24 hours in the day.
Lucas: Mm-hmm, and 60 minutes in an hour. That's awesome.
Sami: [Laughs]
Lucas: Wait a minute. You, uh... you said you wanted to wait.
Sami: Yeah, for the right moment.
Lucas: Wouldn't you say this is the right moment? I'd say it's time. Come on.
Sami: I wasn't doing it to torture you or to torture myself, either.
Lucas: Then you did it to...
Sami: 'Cause I wanted to make sure we were building on real feelings that we have for each other. Lucas, I don't want to mess this up.
Lucas: Honey, nothing could do that. Nothing can mess this up.
Sami: You promise?
Lucas: I do promise.
Sami: Good, 'cause I swear, if I had to wait one more second, I'm gonna scream.
[Inhales deeply]
Lucas: No, no, no.
Abby: So, where will you be if I need to reach you?
Max: Just call the cell. I'll have it on while I'm gone. And thanks for looking after the business, by the way.
Abby: You sure changed your mind pretty quick. I mean, first you say you can't just fly off to Atlanta because you don't even know for sure if Philip's still there --
Max: So I changed my mind, Abby. If there's any chance at all, it's worth taking.
Abby: You're not fooling me, Max. Philip isn't the only reason you're going to Atlanta. You like Mimi. Admit it.
Bonnie: One of the nurses took Patrick's money.
Mimi: Not buying it, Mom. Who are you in to, and for how much? What is it? Internet gambling? Do you owe a loan shark?
Bonnie: I can't believe you think this badly about your mother.
Mimi: I got over feeling bad about it a long time ago. I'm just trying not to follow in your footsteps.
Bonnie: Nice mouth. I've got patients waiting.
Mimi: They can wait longer. If you don't give me some of the cash you took from Patrick, I will tell him what I know.
Bonnie: You don't know anything, miss high and mighty.
Mimi: Patrick already suspects you. If I told him that I saw you with a big wad of cash right after his went missing, he'll believe me.
Bonnie: You know Patrick gets violent when he doesn't get his way.
Mimi: So protect yourself and give me the plane fare.
Bonnie: Okay, fine.
Patrick: I can't believe you're asking me to save Bo's butt. The guy's a liar. You know this. Look at what he's done to me. He's gone against a restraining order. He's been suspended by the police force.
Hope: I know all this.
Patrick: So how can you ask me to drop the charges?
Hope: Your injuries seemed much worse than they turned out to be, which is a good thing.
Patrick: What does that have to do with anything?
Hope: Whatever happened, you're better now.
Patrick: You know damn well what happened. Bo beat me within an inch of my life.
Hope: Bo says he didn't do it.
Patrick: Well, I'm sure he's the first perp to lie about doing a crime.
Hope: All I know is I've known Bo since I was a teenager. The man you're describing viciously beating you with a belt -- it's not Bo. Sure, he'll throw a punch at somebody if he gets really angry, but the beating you got -- it's just not something that Bo would do.
Patrick: So you're saying I'm lying. This guy you know so well, this guy who jumped into bed with Billie and was caught on camera by their daughter -- this is the guy you have so much faith in?
Hope: That has nothing to do with the favor I'm asking.
Patrick: It has everything to do with it. Just because you can't face your husband, don't ask me to help you lie to yourself.
Hope: Patrick, please.
Patrick: No, I will do anything for you except this. I won't drop the charges.
Bo: Hope's got no reason to believe in me.
Billie: I tried to explain it to her.
Bo: What's to explain? We had half our clothes off.
Billie: Hey, it's my fault. I'm the one that went to your room.
Bo: Because you were upset about Steve.
Billie: But I don't always have to go running to you, Bo.
Bo: And I was upset because my wife is pregnant with another guy and she goes running off with him again.
Billie: That's what I tried to tell her. We were just comforting each other.
Bo: That's not how it started out.
Billie: Well, that's how it ended up. Isn't that what's important?
Bo: I think, for Hope, it's more like, "why does it keep happening?" Why can't I keep it in my pants around you? She's lost all faith in me.
Billie: I'm sorry.
Bo: No, it's not your fault. It's mine. It's me and only me..
Billie: Okay. You feel guilty. So do I. We went a little bit too far, but we didn't cross the line.
Bo: We were on our way to being naked.
Billie: No, we weren’t. No, it's not like you went down to a bar and picked up some stranger. It was me. We have history.
Bo: That makes it worse.
Billie: No, I think it makes it understandable.
Bo: Hope's never gonna understand something like that.
Billie: Well, Hope has to understand...that you and I have a history. There was a time where we meant everything to each other.
Bo: Yeah, well, it's not that way anymore.
Billie: I know that. But if you have problems with Hope, you come to me. If I have problems with whoever, I come to you. It's what we do, you know? It's natural.
Bo: A habit we got to break.
Billie: I know. But Hope has to break the habit of pretending that we never loved each other. We share a child, just like she and Patrick are gonna share a child.
Bo: Thanks for that reminder.
Billie: Listen, if she wants you to be a man about her having Patrick's baby, don't you think you and I deserve the same amount of respect?
Bo: I'll never respect that bastard. I want to kill him.
Billie: Don't say that.
Bo: If I'm gonna do the time for the crime, I want to at least have the satisfaction of bashing his face in.
Hope: Patrick, I understand how angry you must be, but --
Patrick: No, you don't know what it's like for me. Everyone in town is wondering, "what's up with Lockhart? Why didn't he fight back?"
Hope: I'm sorry. I don't know what to say.
Patrick: Listen, Hope, I feel like crap about this, and you want me to let Bo off the hook?
Hope: I have a reason.
Patrick: I have a reason, too. If he doesn't go to jail, next time maybe he'll just kill me.
Hope: Would you just please listen to what I have to say?
Patrick: Fine. Go ahead.
Hope: The Brady family needs Bo. They're a very tight family. They depend on Bo.
Patrick: Well, maybe now they're just gonna have to depend on brother Roman, huh?
Hope: My son's grandparents, Caroline and Shawn, they've been through an awful lot. You know that. The shock of their son going to prison -- I don't know if they could take that. It's Bo they've always counted on to be there. They need him.
Patrick: And what about you, Hope? Do you need him, too?
Mimi: Man, you sure have a lot of cash in those pockets today, huh, Mom?
Bonnie: I don't trust banks. This ought to get you to Atlanta.
Mimi: On a bus. We're flying. Thanks for your generosity, Mom.
Bonnie: I just don't see why poor Patrick should get himself all upset thinking his mother took his money -- not that I'd ever do that.
Mimi: Did I just hear you say "poor Patrick"? My big brother happens to be thick as thieves with E.J. Wells. They've got some kind of scam going, and they're paying Shawn to take messages back and forth like a freaking secret agent.
Bonnie: Shawn? Really?
Mimi: My guess is that Patrick got roughed up by E.J. for doing something stupid, and now he's blamed Bo to score points with Hope.
Bonnie: Patrick's in with E.J. Wells.
Mimi: It's not a good thing, Mom, and you'd better find out what he's up to before he ends up six feet under.
Bonnie: [Chuckles]
Abby: Did you ask Mimi about that "love ya" she threw in when you guys were on the phone?
Max: Women say "love ya" all the time. They write it, they say it, they blow you kisses. It's a girly way of saying "see ya."
Abby: Well, I don't say it.
Max: Do you have a problem with Mimi? She likes you.
Abby: I just think it would be awfully easy for her to take advantage of you. You did give her a job after she cried on your shoulder.
Max: She's a good bookkeeper. I gave you a job, too.
Abby: Max, you're not just my boss. You're my friend, and Mimi could just be using you to bring Philip back to Salem.
Max: And what would she get out of that?
Abby: She'd get Shawn back.
Max: Ha.
Abby: Well, Philip would go for Belle again, and then Shawn would be available.
Max: Very doubtful.
Abby: All right, well, I just don't want to see you get hurt. That's all..
E.J.: I know that you and Samantha have clashed in the past, but this is business.
Kate: Really? This is business? And the fact that you have tried and failed to get Samantha into bed has nothing to do with the fact that you're now trying to bring her into the company? Oh... the answer is still no.
E.J.: Kate, as majority stockholder in this company, I outrank you. If Samantha wants this job, it's hers.
Lucas: Let's take this action into the bedroom.
Sami: I put black satin sheets on the bed this morning.
Lucas: Ooh, nice. My favorite. You get me so hot.
Sami: Me too. [Telephone rings]
Lucas: No, no, no.
Sami: It could be Will.
Lucas: We're having a moment. Will's fine.
Sami: What if he hurt himself in ski camp or something? He might have. He could have. Hello?
E.J.: It's E.J.
Sami: E.J.?
E.J.: Bad timing?
Sami: Really bad.
E.J.: Well, I'm sorry, but I need you in my office immediately.
Sami: Um, what are you talking about? Now?
Lucas: You better hang up that phone right now.
E.J.: You work for me, remember? Mythic inherited your contract when we took over Austin Reed and Company.
Sami: My contract? What are you talking about? He says I still work for him.
Lucas: You don't work for him. Give me the phone. Give it to me. I'll handle it.
Sami: No, it's okay, Lucas.
E.J.: You've been cashing your checks, my dear.
Sami: I thought it was severance pay.
E.J.: [Chuckles] That's funny. Hurry up over, will you?
Sami: I can't believe this. He wants me to go over there.
Lucas: What, now? No way?
Sami: I have to. I don't want to leave you like this, but I have to go find out what he wants.
Lucas: Wait a minute. I know exactly what he wants, and he's not getting it. Not a little.
Sami: [Laughs]
Kate: Lucas is never going to let her do it.
E.J.: He may not like it, but I'll tell you -- he can't stop it. Samantha, Kate, is an independent woman. She thinks for herself.
Kate: Well, you are right about one thing. She is out for herself.
E.J.: Well, maybe she takes after you.
Kate: Ah. She's going to turn you down.
E.J.: We shall see.
Sami: No, wait. I have to go. I've been cashing those checks, Lucas. I mean, I don't deserve that much severance pay. You know Austin wouldn't want me to have any of it.
Lucas: Forget about the paychecks.
Sami: I can’t. What if E.J. wants the money back? I chipped in to help pay for Will's ski camp, and I want there to be presents from me under the tree for him.
Lucas: Forget about it, all right? I make enough money for the three of us. Call him back and tell him you quit.
Roman: All right. Here's your stuff.
Bo: Thanks, man. So what's next in the Wells investigation?
Roman: Bo, you don't work here.
Bo: Roman.
Roman: Bo, John is in Italy, looking for the DiMeras. Abe is leaning on the state department to get a warrant to seize E.J. Wells' bank accounts in Europe. You're going home, and you are gonna stay out of trouble this time.
Patrick: Be straight with me. Are you and Bo getting back together? Is that why you want him out of jail?
Hope: Patrick, I don't play games with people's emotions. That's not who I am.
Patrick: Okay, I know. But what bothers me is that you don't really know who I am. We made a baby together, and instead of giving me a chance to show you how happy we could be as a family, you're giving Bo another shot.
Hope: I've invested so many years in my marriage to Bo. We've had children together. [Sighs] We've had children. We still have a son who needs us.
Patrick: Hope, look... do you know how much I love you? If you would just open your heart to me, even a little bit, I know I could make you happy. I would never hurt you the way Bo has.
Hope: If you really mean that, then please drop the charges against Bo.
Patrick: Okay. I'll do it.
Hope: Thank you. Thank you.
Patrick: On one condition.
Sami: E.J. lives in this building, Lucas. If I don't talk to him now, he's gonna come knock on my door.
Lucas: I'll face him.
Sami: I don't want to avoid this problem. I don't want to play games anymore. I just want to go talk to E.J., tell him straight to his face that I don't want to have anything to do with him or his company.
Lucas: That's a good idea.
Sami: I'm glad you think so. So I think it's your job to keep the bed warm while I'm gone.
Lucas: No, wait a minute. I can't do that... 'cause I'm going with you.
[Knock on door]
E.J.: Yes?
Bonnie: Bonnie Lockhart. I'm Patrick's mother. I'm sorry to bust in on you like this, but there was no one at the reception desk, and, well, I really need to talk to you, Mr. Wells.
E.J.: E.J. Please, have a seat.
Bonnie: Thank you. You can call me Bonnie.
E.J.: What can I do for you?
Bonnie: Well, my daughter was just telling me a little something about you. We were talking outside my son's hospital room.
E.J.: Yes?
Bonnie: Well, you are aware my son was severely beaten.
E.J.: So I heard. Please, wish him a speedy recovery from me, although you may have to remind him of who I am, Mrs. Lockhart. Your son and I are not well-acquainted.
Bonnie: Really? Huh. See, my daughter told me that you and Patrick were sending messages through Bo Brady's son, Shawn. Did she get that wrong?
E.J.: [Chuckles] Why, Bonnie, I don't think you stopped down here on a whim, did you?
Bonnie: She also told me that Shawn was -- how'd she put it? -- Getting rich making like a human carrier pigeon. Now, I worry about my children, Mr. Wells. You have no idea what it's like to be a mother. I'm thinking that maybe I should call the cops about this, 'cause I don't want my son Patrick getting into any more trouble.
Hope: You're putting a condition on Bo's freedom?
Patrick: It's an exchange. If I drop the charges so all the Brady’s can sleep better at night, I think I deserve a little more than a thank-you.
Hope: What do you want in return?
Patrick: I want you to go away with me like you promised -- away from Salem, a little time alone, away from your in-laws. I don't stand a chance with all of them running me into the ground.
Hope: Patrick, we've discussed this.
Patrick: Well, that was before your husband tried to beat the life out of me.
Hope: I cannot go away with you right now.
Patrick: I'm not asking you to elope. I'm asking you for a weekend. Somewhere nearby, so if you need to see your doctor, you can. I just want to take care of you, Hope, and our baby.
Hope: Patrick...
Patrick: All you have to do is say yes. If you say yes, I will go right down to the police station, and I will drop the charges.
Hope: Your conditions will have to be on my terms. Single rooms.
Patrick: Okay. It's been your terms all the way down the line. I'll respect your wishes, but I expect the same from you. Otherwise, what's the point of even doing this? Look, the D.A. has more than enough evidence to throw Bo away for a very long time. So it's up to you, Hope. What's it gonna be?
Bo: So I'm supposed to just do nothing?
Roman: Yep.
Bo: Right. So I got nothing to lose.
Roman: [Chuckles] Billie, will you talk some sense into this guy? Bo, listen to me. Think for a change, will you? You're out on bail. Keeping your nose clean would be the smartest thing you can do right now.
Bo: Just let me work behind the scenes. I want to nail this bastard.
Roman: You know what? It's like you want to go to prison. Little brother, I give up.
Billie: Hey, be smart about this, huh? Don't put any more energy into getting Patrick.
Bo: I'm supposed to just live with it?
Billie: Yeah, because if you don't, I'm afraid somebody's gonna end up dead.
Sami: Try to understand. I want to fight my own battles.
Lucas: I want to protect you.
Sami: I'll be fine.
Lucas: Look, any guy would love to get a shot at you.
Sami: That's very sweet, but...
Lucas: No, it's the truth. And E.J.'s already said he wants more than a neighborly relationship with you.
Sami: Well, I don't care what E.J. wants. I want you and only you.
Lucas: But you were hot for him.
Sami: Well, yeah, but I was hot for Brad Pitt, too, and I got over it.
Lucas: When was that? You were hot for Brad Pitt?
Sami: [Laughs] Before the whole Angelina fiasco. It doesn't matter, Lucas, because what I really want is to come home to you every night. I mean, if we make it that far.
Lucas: We will. We just got to stay on course, all right? Keep doing what we're doing.
Sami: Oh, yeah? You mean keep doing things like this?
Lucas: Uh-huh.
Sami: Lucas, I want you more than I have ever wanted any man, including you. I mean, before, you know -- before, when I made all those...
Lucas: Mistakes. Yeah, we both made mistakes. Don't worry about it. It's over.
Sami: It is over. Trust me. Lucas, I'm not gonna do anything to screw this up.
Lucas: E.J. would do anything to make you his.
Sami: E.J. is out of luck.
Lucas: Now, that's what I like to hear. Come on, let's go to bed. Come on.
Sami: Wait, no. We can't! Hold that thought, okay? Let me just hurry up, get dressed, I'll go over and talk to E.J., and I'll be back. And we can pick up right where we left off.
Lucas: All right. Well, hurry up, though, okay? Please?
Sami: [Laughing] Okay!
Lucas: I'm dying. [Sighs] Man.
E.J.: Single mother?
Bonnie: Oh, yeah. Ever since my husband left me... though he was never much in the bread-winning department...or any other department. So it was just me, raising my three kids, all by my lonesome. You know, single mothers really get a raw deal. We are the salt of the earth, yet, sometimes, we can't even afford to buy groceries.
E.J.: That must be rough.
Bonnie: Oh, yeah.
E.J.: [Clears throat] Maybe, uh... maybe I can help you.
Bonnie: Well, that's very generous of you, Mr. Wells.
E.J.: Please, call me E.J. I'd like us to be friends, Bonnie.
Bonnie: You've got a friend for life...
E.J.: Good.
Bonnie: ...Right here.
E.J.: Wonderful. I hope this makes you feel better about your son.
Bonnie: Oh, sure.
E.J.: And there's no need to go to the police.
Bonnie: No, I know when to keep my mouth shut.
E.J.: I'm very glad you came by.
Bonnie: Me too. Say, you know, if you ever need anything, or if there's anything I can do for you...
E.J.: I'll just whistle.
Bonnie: That's right, baby. You whistle. Bye. [Door closes]
E.J.: Damn you, Patrick. You're more trouble than you're worth, my boy.
Roman: Still here, huh?
Bo: Yep, been here a whole 10 minutes. Haven't killed anybody yet.
Roman: Bo, do me a favor. Keep a low profile. Go home, rent a movie, lay low.
Bo: Bake some brownies.
Roman: That's a good idea. I'll bring the milk.
Bo: Nice.
Roman: Come on, Bo. You do know this whole thing can get resolved.
Bo: This prison thing?
Roman: Yeah, take a page out of mom's book. Have a little faith.
Bo: I keep telling Hope that, but it doesn't seem to work out that way.
Lucas: No, you can't wear that. You got to take that off. E.J. can't see you like that. It's not funny.
Sami: Come on, Lucas. I'm just showing him what he's not getting.
Lucas: Because it's mine, right?
Sami: That's right. [Cellphone rings]
Lucas: Hold on. Wait a minute. Hey, Victor. Uh, I'm actually kind of tied up right now. No, no, no. No, not a problem. I'll be right there. Stop it. I got to go. I'm supposed to be on my vacation, and he snaps his fingers, and I got to go to the mansion right now.
Sami: Well, that's how you're gonna keep buying us satin sheets, right?
Lucas: That's a good point. Yeah. All right, so, we'll hurry with these meetings, and then we'll continue this.
Sami: We'll come back and finish...what we...started.
Lucas: Uh-huh.
Sami: [Sighs]
Lucas: Remember, no matter what he offers you, you're quitting, right?
Sami: That's right.
Hope: Bo, Patrick has something to say that you're gonna want to hear.
Bo: I'll bet.
Patrick: I've decided not to press charges against you.
Hope: He's already spoken to the D.A. It's over. Please, let it be over.
Max: Oh, you're a genius.
Mimi: I know, but you keep them, 'cause I don't trust me.
Max: I thought we were hitchhiking to Atlanta. Where did you get the money for these?
Mimi: Um, my brother loaned it to me. He's not the worst brother in the world. He does something nice for me about once every five years.
Max: Okay, I'm packed. I'm all set to go. Are you sure you can handle the business stuff while we're gone?
Abby: Yeah, no problem. I already caught a bookkeeping error. Anyways, I just hope that you know what you're getting into.
Mimi: I don't make bookkeeping errors. What is she --
Max: That's just Abby. She's trying to impress me. Let's go. Come on.
Mimi: Okay.
Bonnie: You have no idea what it took to get that much.
Lauren: Nice work. Keep it coming.
Bonnie: Keep it coming? No, honey. It's done. I'm done. I shook all the money trees in Salem, sweetheart. That's your last installment.
Lauren: It better not be. I'm gonna be going through hell bringing little baby Kiriakis into the world.
Bonnie: You're getting a fee plus the money I gave you. You should be set for life.
Lauren: A life in a trailer. But the baby I'm carrying ain't no trailer trash, now, is it?
Bonnie: Please, Lauren. Please, it's my grandchild.
Lauren: I didn't get into the surrogate business to help people. I'm in it for the cash -- lots and lots of cash -- so until this kid pops out, you'd better keep me well-supplied, or you'll never see me or your little gold mine again.
[Door opens]
Sami: E.J.
E.J.: Wow. Um...well, if you looked any hotter, I'd have to turn on the air-conditioning.
Sami: Give me a break, E.J. It's December.
E.J.: And that is the power that you have over me, Samantha. Please.
Sami: Well, I didn't feel very powerful. You summoned me here like a servant.
E.J.: Samantha, I consider you to be an integral part of my team.
Sami: About that... you're gonna have to find another girl for your team, E.J. I don't know what the deal was between Mythic and Austin Reed and Company, but I had no idea that I was a part of it. I'll give the money back, but I quit. I'm out...effective immediately.
E.J.: Damn. You ruined my plan, Samantha. Here I am, wanting to make you a full partner with Kate and I at Mythic, and -- well, not to worry.
Roman: All right. That's great news. I will check with the D.A., make sure it's official. I'll also call mom and dad. It'll make their day. Hell, it'll make their year.
Patrick: I'm doing this for Hope's sake and the baby. Why don't we put the past behind us?
Bo: Let's not. I don't take handouts from dirt like you.
Sami: It just comes down to whether or not you can trust me. Can you?
Victor: Why are the police here?
Belle: Claire's gone. She's missing. Someone took her.
Bo: What kind of deal did you make with him to drop the charges? What did you promise him?
Patrick: If you ever cross me again, I’ll make sure you and your daughter regret it.
