Kate: What do you think she's gonna do? Break up the wedding? Pull some kind of stunt? That's ridiculous. This is Belle we're talking about.

Derrick: As soon as you finish your drink, we can get out of here and have some real fun. Got to check my messages.

Alex: Thank God Marlena's being rescued.

John: [Coughing]

Abe: The cabin -- it might be collapsing. Come on.

John: [Coughing]

Paramedics: What have we got?

Abe: The two of us are all right.

John: My wife was in the cabin when it blew.

Paramedics: All right, let's get her back to the rig.

John: It was arson. Find the evidence. I don't know if North wanted to kill me or Doc or both of us, but he's not getting away with it. [Coughing] Please, God, let her be okay.

Lexie: I can't make a definitive diagnosis until I've run some tests.

Sami: What? Is it serious?

Lexie: It could be. Let's go to the hospital. Who has a car?

Lexie: It doesn't matter. Come on.

Kate: That's not true because Belle is married to Philip now. They're a family. They have a daughter. They're very happy. Do you think she's staying up nights worrying about what's happening to you?

Kate: You're doing her the biggest favor that's ever been done to her. [ Exhales sharply] Mimi, you're in love with Shawn, right? He loves you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to him. What's the problem with that?

Mimi: The problem is I shouldn't have to lie to the man I'm about to marry. I shouldn't have to worry that he's in love with someone else.

Kate: Oh, my God. Mimi, you were on this roof. You were on this roof just a few days ago when Belle told Shawn that she's still in love with him, and what did he say to her? That he wants to be with you. Why are you so damn insecure?

Mimi: Oh, I don't know, Kate. Maybe because they've been in love with each other their whole lives. And if Shawn knew that he was Claire's real father, all of his dreams would come true and Belle's, too.

Lucas: Lexie, what's next?

Lexie: We have to run some blood work and do a few tests.

Austin: What do you think is wrong with her?

Lexie: I can't confirm a diagnosis until we get her to the O.R. I spoke with Dr. Saunders, and we're fairly certain that she has acute appendicitis.

Austin: That's pretty straightforward, right?

Lexie: The sooner we get her into surgery, the better chance we have of avoiding complications.

Austin: You're gonna be okay.

Lexie: Okay, let's go.

Austin: I think we should go someplace private and pray for her.

Lucas: Yeah, let's go.

Sami: [Sighs]

Abe: It's Marlena. She was trapped in Lois Banks' cabin. There was an explosion.

Lexie: Oh, my God.

Abe: John got her out, but --

John: She's got to make it. Just do whatever you have to do. Bring her back to us.

Patrick: Well, I hope you're in the mood for a warm bath.

Hope: Sounds like heaven.

Patrick: Okay, hold on. I'll get you in here. Okay, careful.

Hope: Okay. Oh. Oh, my gosh. Look at these flowers. Why did you do all this?

Derrick: She doesn't look underage or act it either. Aah.

Chelsea: Maybe I do.

Billie: No, don't you ever say that -- ever! Listen to me, Chelsea. You listen to me. Do you have any idea what could happen to a girl who isn't paying attention? You need to protect yourself. Do you know where you could have wound up tonight? A place a lot worse than jail.

Chelsea: Like there's any place worse than jail.

Billie: Oh, there is, Chelsea. Believe me. I've been there -- both places. And for someone who says she is afraid of going to jail, then you should have no problem prejudicing a jury against you. You don't know, Chelsea. Someone in that bar could end up sitting on your jury. Another photo of you drunk in a bar? I don't think anyone will ever be able to get you off. Good. You're upset. I hope you are scared enough to start behaving well.

Shawn D.: I thought we were done with this conversation. I am not gonna cancel my wedding to Mimi tomorrow. I will not do that to her.

Shawn D.: How can you tell me not to marry her? You married Philip. You made your choice. Now I am making mine. And I just want to make something very clear here. I do love Mimi. It might be different than what you and I had, but we are very happy together. My future is with her. We can't go back to the past. It's a waste of our lives, and we have so much love to give. Claire needs you. And Mimi and I cannot wait to be parents.

Belle: All right, will you just stop it? Will you just stop acting like you and Mimi are gonna go off and get married and live happily ever after?

Shawn D.: What are you talking about?

Belle: You're not going to. I will not let you. There is no way that I am gonna let you marry Mimi.

Lucas: If you're gonna talk bad about Carrie, you can leave.

Sami: Oh, give me a break!

Lucas: Go get a cup of coffee.

Sami: Carrie this, Carrie that. I swear to God, that's the story of my freakin' life.

Nurse 2: You mean the attempted murder, the amnesia?

Nurse 1: No, just tonight. She was hurt in a fire.

Nurse 2: Really?

Nurse 1: They're not sure she's gonna make it.

Nurse 2: Oh, I can't believe that. [Equipment beeping]

Alex: How's Marlena? Is she gonna recover?

John: It's interesting that you would show up here. How'd you know where Marlena was? I'll tell you how. You were there at the cabin. You planned the explosion. You set Doc up to die, didn't you?

Hope: Oh.

Patrick: Careful. All right.

Hope: Okay. I feel so silly being carried around, but thank you...for everything. I do -- I feel a lot better.

Patrick: Good. Well, uh, good night, I guess.

Hope: Good night.

Chelsea: I feel really, really weird. I think he might have drugged my drink or something.

Bo: Yes, little girl, he did. One of these little beauties, you lose your power to resist. God knows what he'd be doing to you right now if your mom and I hadn't shown up when we did. Your little buddy Derrick didn't want me looking at his PDA. He tried to destroy it, but I found the memory stick. I wonder what kind of photos he was taking of you.

Chelsea: I wasn't even doing anything besides having a drink... which I know I shouldn't have been drinking.

Bo: I wonder what he was so interested in.

Billie: Oh. Uh, maybe Chelsea should go to her room.

Bo: No, no, no. I want her to see this. Come here. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Chelsea: Oh, my God, what is he doing? I didn't know he was doing that. Why is he doing that?

Bo: This is just the beginning. Let's see what else he's got here. [Exhales sharply] Yeah. Other young girls just like you. Takes them home, sexually abuses them. You know what? You act like you're at war with me and your mom. And we're the only ones trying to help you.

Chelsea: I need to lie down.

Billie: Do you want me to help you?

Chelsea: No. Um, no. Thank you for, um... just thank you.

Bo: How could she be so stupid?

Billie: I don't even know how to defend her this time. This is way beyond acting out.

Bo: Even if she's upset because I'm supporting Hope in this trial --

Billie: Which is exactly why she shouldn't be doing this. It'll prejudice the jury against her even more. My God, Bo, if we hadn't gotten to her when we did -- kids disappear in this country every day!

Bo: Well, with this evidence, I can put that scumball away for a very long time.

Billie: No. You can’t.

John: Yeah, you set it up, North. You knew that Abraham and I would be coming up there looking for evidence, so you rigged the cabin to blow up as soon as we entered.

Alex: Wrong as usual, John.

John: I saw you through the window, damn it -- hanging around the cabin so you could enjoy watching Abraham and I do a slow burn. But what you didn't know until you looked in the window -- that Marlena was inside there. So, if she dies, it's because of the fire you set. Of course, that should make you a happy man, shouldn't it? The only thing that would make you happier is if I died right along with her.

Alex: I think a far more plausible explanation is that Lois [Clears throat] As we all knew to be insane, set a trap for me. She knew that as her executor, at some point in time I'd show up at her cabin to close it up. Oh, it was a death trap, all right, but it was set for me and maybe Marlena, too, but not you, John.

John: So, you're saying that Lois Banks knew all along she was about to die? You really expect us to believe that? Come on, Abraham. You were with me. I saw him through that window.

Abe: Yeah, I know you said that, but unfortunately, I didn't see him. Hopefully the arson squad will have something.

Alex: Yes, hopefully. Now, I would like to check on my wife's condition if you two are through with me.

John: Abraham, I swear to God, if she dies, I'm gonna take that man's life in my bare hands. And you heard me say it first.

Sami: What happened? I heard about my mom. There was a fire or something?

Abe: Don't get hysterical. Just calm down. Marlena's in serious condition, but they're working on her right now. Everything's gonna be all right.

Sami: It's John's fault, isn't it? Damn you. You promised to protect her, and yet, you never do. She always is in danger, and it's all your fault, John.

Nurse: Mr. Roberts, Dr. Carver asked me to update you.

Lucas: Is Carrie out of surgery already?

Nurse: She is. She's doing well. She's still unconscious, but she's stable.

Austin: That's great news.

Lucas: Yeah, it is. Can I see her?

Austin: I want to see her, too.

Nurse: Only one visitor at a time.

Lucas: She's living with me, so I should be there when she wakes up. Thanks.

Belle: All I know is that I love you. I've tried to stop. I -- I can't help it.

Shawn D.: I drove my bike through the window at St. Luke's. It's something my grandmother will probably never forgive me for, but it was all in a vain attempt to try and stop your marriage to Philip. No, please, just hear me out. You said it's a different kind of love that you have for Philip, and that is probably true. Sometimes I'm not even sure I know what love is. Is it something that happens to you or is it something that you make happen? But you said you loved Philip enough to marry him, and I love Mimi enough to marry her. And it's not a second best kind of love. It's different, but it's good. Mimi and I have a real chance to be happy here. We both want the same thing, starting with a child. And yeah, we have to adopt, but we're gonna love our kid just as much as you and Philip love Claire. And that is the bottom line here, is that you and Philip -- he's the father of your baby.

Mimi: [Sighs]

Shawn D.: Who's there?

Lucas: You're even beautiful after surgery. You really had me scared there. We've been spending so much time together, talking about your hopes and your dreams... our hopes and our dreams. Austin: [Thinking] I know Lucas is pushing you hard for a commitment, but you belong with me. I lost you once because I didn't fight hard enough for you. I'm not gonna let it happen again.

[Door opens]

Abe: Austin, you're just the person I'm looking for.

Austin: What's up?

Abe: It's Marlena. She's been in a fire. They're working on her right now. They're trying to save her life.

Austin: Well, um, yeah, how can I help?

Abe: Look, it's Sami. I mean, she's nearly hysterical. You just need to calm her down, reassure her. She trusts you.

Sami: Ever since the first day that my mom got involved with you, she has been in danger. Damn it, you weren't even supposed to be anywhere near her, and yet, she gets hurt, and you're right there. What did you do to her, John? Tell me what you did.

John: Listen, if you need to blame somebody, why don't you try blaming Alex North? He's the one who set up that cabin to blow in the first place. So, if your mother dies, her blood is gonna be on that man's hands.

Sami: If she dies? What are you saying? You think my mom is gonna die?

Hope: Patrick... I want you.

Hope: Patrick?

Patrick: [Clears throat] Yeah?

Hope: Thank you for being such a good friend.

Patrick: Sure. Why don't you get some sleep now? [Sighs] Stop dreaming.. Hope's a married woman. She belongs with her husband. [Sighs]

Billie: If you go public with that evidence, the media will jump all over it, and it'll practically guarantee that Chelsea will go to jail for vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crime. Do you really want to do that to your own daughter?

Bo: What about the other parents' daughters who get caught up in this guy's sick games? He has got to be stopped. You have been there, Billie. You know what could have happened to her if he got her back to his house.

Billie: And I also know what could happen to Chelsea if she goes to jail because I've been there, too, Bo. And that is not a situation I want Chelsea having to fight every day for however many years they sentence her to.

Bo: I'm a cop. You were, too. What about the oath that we took to uphold the law? We just throw that out the window every chance we get? What about seeing justice done?

Billie: I'm sorry, Bo, but you have got to stop thinking like a cop for a second, okay? Your job comes second to being a father. Now, Chelsea is in a lot of trouble. She's acting out, but she is not entirely to blame. You could have said no when she asked you for the keys to your car. I'm sorry. I know it hurts to hear me say that, but as much as you want Hope to forgive you and stand by you, Chelsea is begging you to do the same for her. So am I. Please don't throw your daughter's life away. You've already lost one child. If Chelsea goes to jail, you will lose her, too. Do you really want to do that to her... to me... to yourself?

Hope: What's going to happen to us, Bo?

Bo: Yeah, I want what's best for Chelsea, too, but right now I don't know what that is. I do know that I want this molester off the streets before he hurts any other young girls.

Billie: I won't let you do it, Bo. I will not let you do it to Chelsea. I don't know how, but I will figure out a way to get to this guy.

Bo: I know how I can take care of Chelsea. It's illegal, but...

Billie: What are you gonna do?

Bo: Well, we'll just delete these files that she's in so no one will know that she was ever involved. But I'll still have the files with the other girls, so I'll have the evidence to prosecute that creep.

[Chuckles] I love her, too.

Chelsea: [Thinking] Good work, mom. Nice start. Now just keep getting closer to dad, and maybe I won't have to serve any time at all.

Shawn D.: [Sighs] Nobody else is up here.

Belle: You know, if you marry Mimi tomorrow, we can't ever have the future we dreamed about.

Shawn D.: I know. But that's the way it has to be. It's the best thing for everybody, especially Claire.

Kate: My two-faced daughter-in-law is trying to ruin your life. We have to make sure she doesn't do anything to stop the wedding.

Mimi: What's the use? If Shawn knew he was Claire's real father, he'd obviously want to be with Belle. Don't I deserve a man who really loves me?

Kate: Do you love Shawn?

Mimi: So much it hurts.

Kate: Then don't say anything about the baby. And you'll be Mrs. Shawn Brady tomorrow and for the rest of your life.

Kate: Don't worry about anything. I'll take care of it. I'm going to take care of everything.

John: No way. You're the lousy bastard that set that explosion that almost killed her.
