Hope: Looks like you got everything you asked for, honey.

Bo: That's what happens when you're a good boy all year, huh?

Zach: Except for when I drew on the wall with my crayons.

Hope: Oh, honey, I think Santa knew how sorry you were. Right, dad?

Bo: Uh-huh, and that you would never, ever do it again. Am I right?

Zach: I'm gonna go play with my truck.

Hope: Oh, but first, before you do that, mommy has got to give you a big hug and a big kiss. You know why? Because I love you so much. Merry Christmas, my love.

Bo: [Makes motor noises]

Hope: Go enjoy your truck.

*************************************************************

Bo: Wish I had known Chelsea when she was that age.

Hope: So do I.

Bo: I don't know if it would have made any difference. She'd probably still hate me.

Hope: She doesn't hate you.

Bo: What are you talk--

Hope: Bo...

Bo: She didn't even say thanks for her Christmas present. She opened it up, take one look at it, couple of sarcastic remarks about how -- how I'll never be her father, and then, bam, she's out of here. Merry Christmas.

Hope: Just keep telling yourself you did the right thing. Eventually she'll realize it. Just give it some time. It'll be okay.

[Doorbell rings]

Bo: Maybe that's Shawn.

Hope: Hopefully he has some good news about Claire. I've been praying for her.

Bo: Yeah, me too. Hey, Chelsea.

Chelsea: There's something I forgot to say to you before I left.

*************************************************************

Belle: Where's Lexie? When I saw that homemade star starting to shine just as Shawn was reading the Christmas story, I knew it had to be a sign. It's our Christmas miracle.

Philip: Honey, I would love to believe that, too, but right now...

Belle: Don't say that, okay? It was a message from God that they found a liver donor. I know it, and I'm gonna go tell Lexie right now.

Philip: Hey.

Mimi: Hi. You know, the star really was shining.

Philip: It wasn't shining. It was reflecting the overhead fluorescent lights.

Shawn D.: But if Belle honestly believes that it was a sign... maybe that is enough for it to come true.

*************************************************************

Santa: Hey. All right. Let's go, buddy. Keep going. Yay!

Lucas: Come on, Carrie. Where did you go?

[Clears throat]

Lucas: You.

Sami: Wait. Lucas, you just kissed me.

Lucas: Yeah, yeah, I know. I thought you were somebody else.

Sami: Who? Wait a second. You thought I was that slut you brought back with you from L.A., didn't you?

Lucas: Yes, I brought her back, and she's not a slut, okay?

*************************************************************

Austin: Carrie.

Carrie: Merry Christmas, Austin.

Austin: Merry Christmas to you. [Clears throat] I can't believe it's you.

Carrie: Neither can I. It's been a long time.

Austin: Too long.

Carrie: Yeah.

Austin: So, how's Mike? I mean, he, uh -- he come back with you?

*************************************************************

John: Why'd you make me pull over?

Roman: 'Cause we need to talk this thing through.

John: There's nothing to talk about. North's cabin's up the hill. That's obviously where his car was going, and Doc's with him.

Roman: John, I'm a Police Commander. I can't just bust into a house without a search warrant.

John: I'll do it myself.

Roman: And I can't condone anybody else doing it either.

Kate: Roman's right.

John: Marlena is up there with him.

Kate: Maybe, but we don't have any real proof that she's in danger, John..

John: [Sighs]

[Jazz music plays]

*************************************************************

Jennifer: Oh.

Maggie: Hey.

Jennifer: You know, tonight, surrounded by all of this love, even though I know it's not possible, I feel like Jack is somewhere nearby. I feel like he could walk in at any moment.

*************************************************************

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

*************************************************************

Jack: Come on. Take a deep breath and just do it.

Abby: I'm gonna go help Gram in the kitchen.

Maggie: Jen, you know Jack isn't here.

Jennifer: I know that, aunt Maggie. It's just that it's Christmas, and part of me is still that little girl that believes miracles come true, and that if I'm very, very good, Santa will bring me everything that I ask for.

[Doorbell rings] I'll get it.

Maggie: Jennifer!

Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh, my gosh. You're back.

*************************************************************

John: What do you mean you need proof? You heard Dr. Banks. North used to beat her when they were married.

Roman: Technically, John, all that is, is hearsay.

John: Roman, he's dangerous. She never would have gone away with him willingly with Claire being in the hospital. He abducted her. Now let's get in there.

Roman: No! Not so fast.

John: Roman, give me the keys, man, come on. Damn it, Roman. We were on the same page about this when we left the penthouse.

Roman: Yeah, we were, John. But then I realized we're putting a whole lot of carts before the horse here. Now, damn it, we got to wait for just cause before we act.

John: If we wait, your just cause is gonna be her dead body. Is that what you want?

Kate: John, Alex has been living with Marlena for weeks. If he wanted to hurt her, he had plenty of opportunity before this.

John: Yeah, and cats play with mice a long time before they kill them.

Roman: John, I don't want any evidence we gather to be thrown out because of illegal entry.

John: Man, I don't believe this. Just give me the keys.

Kate: Do you remember -- how many times have you burst in on them without cause and what happened? John, do you really want to drive her just deeper and deeper into Alex's arms?

John: [Sighs]

*************************************************************

Marlena: Oh!

Alex: I didn't mean to startle you. I'm sorry.

Marlena: No, I didn't hear you come back in.

Alex: I was just out getting some more wood.

Marlena: Oh. I love a nice toasty fire. What is that for?

Alex: What, this?

Marlena: Mm-hmm.

Alex: I'm going to warm up some milk the old-fashioned way, make us some hot chocolate, just like we used to.

Marlena: We used to do that?

Alex: Oh, boy, did we ever. It used to be your favorite thing to do this time of year. And I want everything to be perfect for us our first Christmas back together.

Marlena: It's already so special. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Alex: Oh, yes, it does. I have dreamt about this every year we have been apart.

Marlena: I understand.

Alex: And now -- and now that we're back together, I want it to be perfect, just the way I planned.

*************************************************************

Bo: I thought you said it all when you left. What'd you leave out?

Chelsea: Thank you... for the Christmas present.

Bo: You're welcome. You didn't seem too thrilled about it when I gave it to you.

Chelsea: I know that, and I'm sorry. It's just driving lessons weren't exactly at the top of my wish list, you know?

Bo: Yeah, kind of figured that.

Chelsea: And I just thought that you were being mean, trying to rub it in that I lost my license --

Bo: Whoa, no, hey, no. I wouldn't do that.

Hope: Chelsea, we care about you very much, honey.

Bo: You know, driving lessons are not cheap, and I just wanted to help you get your license back. It's my way of showing you that, um, I'll always be here for you.

Chelsea: I know. I kind of figured that out after I left. Anyway, that's why I came back -- to tell you thank you and... Merry Christmas...dad.

*************************************************************

Philip: You hang in there, baby girl. You hang in there. Hey. Did you find Lexie?

Belle: Nope. Time's running out, Philip.

Philip: Honey, you can't think that way. You have to try to stay strong just for her, okay? We have to try.

Mimi: Belle, do you want some tea or something? I can get some for all of us.

Philip: Yeah. I could use some, too. I want to try to talk to Lexie. I'm gonna go with you. I love you. You gonna be all right? Okay. Just take care of her, okay?

Shawn D.: Of course.

Philip: All right.

*************************************************************

Belle: We love you so much.

Shawn D.: I bought you a Christmas present.

Belle: Thanks.

Shawn D.: Here, open it.

Belle: Not now.

Shawn D.: Trust me. Please. It's similar to the one that's hanging on the crib now. I figured the two of you could have one, you know?

Belle: Thank you.

Shawn D.: Well, here, let's put it on.

Belle: Okay. I'm so scared.

Shawn D.: She's gonna be fine. She has to because she has to grow up and be as incredible as her mother.

Belle: I can't stand the thought of losing her.

Shawn D.: Neither can I. That's why we have to believe that she's gonna be fine.

Belle: You have been so good to her.

Shawn D.: I couldn't love her any more if she was my own.

Belle: I know.

Shawn D.: I think she could have been if things went a tad differently.

*************************************************************

Sami: Okay, fine, Lucas, she's not a slut.

Lucas: Yeah, that's right. She's not. In fact, she is somebody you know.

Sami: Wait a second. You brought someone from Salem to Los Angeles with you? What were you doing there, anyway? It's not like you just went for the Rolling Stones concert.

Lucas: That's none of your damn business.

*************************************************************

Carrie: No, Mike -- Mike isn't with me.

Austin: So, he's probably just really busy with all his work in Israel.

Carrie: Yeah, he is.

Austin: So, you guys haven't had any, you know, trouble over there, have you?

Carrie: What do you mean?

Austin: Well, you know, in the media, all we hear about is, like, all the suicide bombers and terrorists and everything.

Carrie: No, thank God. We've been pretty lucky with that. None of that's affected us.

Austin: Thank God.

Carrie: So, I hear you started your own business.

Austin: Yeah, wow, word travels fast -- Austin Reed and company. [Chuckles]

Carrie: How's it doing?

Austin: It's new. It's new, but it's going really good.

Carrie: That's wonderful.

[Cellphone rings] Is that you?

Austin: Hmm? Oh. Yeah, sorry. Wait, hold on. It's business. I'm sorry -- horrible timing.

Carrie: Take it.

Austin: Nicole, look, I already signed the papers for the takeover. Yes, yes, but I need you to take them down and have them filed. Listen, listen, listen. I can't talk right now. All right, so, we'll just go over the details in the morning, okay? All right. Yeah. And Merry Christmas to you, too. I'm sorry about that.

Carrie: It's okay.

Austin: It's a beautiful view, isn't it?

Carrie: Yeah, forgot how much I missed it.

Austin: What were we talking about?

Carrie: You were telling me about Austin Reed and company.

Austin: Right. Yeah. Well, you know, we're in the middle of our first big acquisition, so...

Carrie: That's exciting. I'd like to hear about that.

*************************************************************

Jennifer: I can't believe it. Come in.

Frankie: Great.

Jennifer: Please. What are you doing back? You're gonna miss your flight..

Frankie: My flight has been delayed for at least two hours. I mean, as you can see, there's a huge storm between here and D.C., so...

Maggie: Yeah, well, Santa's sled always wreaks havoc with air traffic.

Frankie: Yeah, maybe you're right. Anyway, then I remembered that I forgot to give you and Jack Jr. and Abby your Christmas presents.

Maggie: Oh, so it must be fate.

Frankie: Something like that. You okay?

Jennifer: Hmm? Yeah, yeah.

Frankie: You should have seen the look on your face when you opened the door.

Jennifer: Oh, I was just so surprised to see you.

Frankie: Yeah. More like shocked.

Maggie: Well, that's because she thought that it might be Jack.

Frankie: What?

*************************************************************

John: I don't care what you think might happen. I'm not leaving her up there with that psycho for another minute.

Roman: John, I'm not giving you the keys.

John: To hell with it.

Roman: Damn it, John!

*************************************************************

Alex: But no marshmallows. For some reason, you just didn't like marshmallows in your hot chocolate.

Marlena: Really?

Alex: Yeah. Don't know why. Oh! The milk! It's burning!

Marlena: Alex, be careful. Be careful.

Alex: Aah!

Marlena: Oh!

Alex: Aah.

Marlena: Are you all right?

Alex: Jeez! Oh, great. Now the fire is going out. I can't believe -- this whole night has become a complete disaster.

Marlena: Listen, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Alex: Yes, it does have to be perfect. The whole point of this night was to show you all the wonderful times we have to look forward to together, just like we used to have, but instead --

Marlena: It can still be wonderful.

Alex: Thank you for trying to make it all right, but it's not all right. I messed it up.

Marlena: We have more milk. We can make another fire. We can do it all over again if you like.

Alex: I know what I have to do now.

Marlena: Okay.

John: Oh, God, no. Doc, turn around!

Marlena: Aah!

Roman: Hey! Hey!

*************************************************************

Bo: You know what? Let's let this be the start of a great new year.

Chelsea: And a start to 10 new driving lessons.

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Chelsea: 10. And a written test and a driving test.

Bo: And once you pass those, a new driver's license.

Chelsea: Yeah, and then I get to start saving up for a new car.

Bo: Maybe I can help you out with that.

Chelsea: Really?

Hope: But first you need to take the lessons and pass the tests. Then we'll talk about a new car.

Chelsea: Oh, I'm gonna be the best student that driving school ever had.

Hope: I hope so.

Chelsea: I'm gonna get some egg nog, okay?

*************************************************************

[Knock on door]

Bo: Oh, I'll get it.

Hope: Who is it? Is it Shawn?

Bo: No, it's the last of your Christmas presents.

Hope: What are you talking about?

Bo: Perfect timing.

Hope: Bo, what is this?

Man: I think right over there would be a good spot.

Bo: Yeah, go ahead, set up.

Hope: Bo, what -- what is going on here?

Bo: I hired him to take a family portrait.

Hope: A family portrait?

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: Really?

Bo: Yeah, really. I got the idea when you were taking so many pictures of the Tiny Man with Santa.

Hope: Best present you ever could have given me.

Bo: In that case, can I take these others back?

Hope: Not on your life. I love my bracelet. Only, you know what? It's not gonna be a family portrait if Shawn's not here.

Bo: He'll be here. I left a message at the hospital for him to come home..

Hope: I love you.

Bo: Of course you do.

*************************************************************

Mimi: Is there any word?

Shawn D.: Nope. Nothing.

Mimi: Here you go.

Belle: Oh. Thanks. She's beautiful, isn't she?

Mimi: Yes, she is. Um, Shawn, I almost forgot. There was a note for you at the nurses' station.

Shawn D.: Thank you. It's my dad. He called. He and my mom send their love and prayers for Claire's recovery.

Belle: See? Everyone in Salem is praying for you.

Shawn D.: And also, I don't know, it says here he wants me to run home for something important, but he says it won't take long.

Belle: Then you should go -- both of you.

Shawn D.: I promised Philip --

Belle: Nothing is more important than family, Shawn. I want you to go. Please, I really want you to.

Shawn D.: Okay. All right. Well, we won't be long.

Mimi: Belle, can we bring you back anything?

Belle: A miracle.

Shawn D.: We'll see what we can do. Come on. Really hate leaving her right now. Wish my dad would have told me what was so important.

Mimi: You are such a wonderful, caring, terrific guy, and I'm so lucky to be with you.

Shawn D.: Well, that makes two of us.

*************************************************************

Sami: You know what, Lucas? I don't care why you were in L.A. You know, it just doesn't matter to me. I could tell you one thing about that girl you were with, though. She's a loser.

Lucas: Yeah? Well, I guess it takes one to know one, doesn't it?

Sami: She's a loser because she was with you. I, on the other hand, was with Austin.

Lucas: Hmm, nice. Well, I guess that makes him a loser, doesn't it?

Sami: Hardly. He owns his own business.

Lucas: True. Not for long, though.

Sami: He's also quite a romantic, the way that he whisked me off to L.A. with him.

Lucas: Really? I thought you were on a business trip, Sami. What happened with that, huh?

Sami: Well, it started off a business trip, but you just can't fight chemistry. By the time he invited me to the Rolling Stones concert with him, after he kissed me under the mistletoe, well, I realized that he has never been able to get over his feelings for me.

Lucas: Think so, huh? Think you still have a future with Austin?

Sami: Absolutely.

Lucas: Well, maybe I should get you a belated Christmas, early engagement present then.

Sami: What do you mean?

Lucas: Why don't you, uh, take a look out on the terrace for yourself.

Sami: Why?

Lucas: You want your gift or not?

Sami: Who is that woman talking to Austin? Is she your –- oh, my God. It can't be.

Lucas: Yeah, did I mention your gift was also a family reunion?

*************************************************************

Carrie: So, what's Austin Reed and company's first big acquisition gonna be?

Austin: Well, I'm not gonna bore you with business talk.

Carrie: You're not. Really, I'm interested.

Austin: You sure?

Carrie: Positive.

Austin: Okay, well, there's this company I found that it's got incredible --

*************************************************************

Sami: Carrie! Hi! What are you doing here? I can't believe you surprised us by coming home for Christmas.

Carrie: Well --

Sami: It is so amazing to see you. Wow. You look wonderful. Where's Mike? Where's Jeremy?

Carrie: He's in Israel.

Sami: So, tell me all about the wedding. How was it? You're not wearing a ring.

Carrie: No, actually --

Sami: You didn't get married?! What am I gonna have to do? I'm gonna have to call Mike and tell him --

Carrie: Actually, Mike and I aren't together anymore.

*************************************************************

Frankie: You thought it might have been Jack at the door?

Jennifer: No, no, not literally. It's just with it being Christmas and all, I just really felt his presence. But it's okay. I know he's not gonna come walking into the house. I know -- I know that he's gone. So, anyway...

Frankie: Yeah.

Jennifer: Hey, there they are!

Frankie: Merry Christmas!

Abby: I -- you left. I thought you were going to Washington. Did you change your mind?

Frankie: Uh, well, the weather did it for me, actually. My flight was postponed indefinitely.

Abby: That's terrific.

Frankie: Yeah.

Abby: Oh. I mean...

Jennifer: No, it's great. Honey, it's great. I'm so glad that you're here, too.

Frankie: How 'bout you? Huh, buddy, you glad I'm here?

[Laughter] Thanks. So, how was Santa? Was he good to you?

Abby: Yes.

Frankie: How's the tree? Let's check out the tree.

Abby: Come on.

Frankie: All right.

Maggie: Um, I think I'll go help Alice and Mickey in the kitchen.

Jennifer: Okay.

*************************************************************

Marlena: Aah! Aah! Aah! Help! Help! Help! Aah! Help! Aah! Aah!

John: Get off of her! Get off of her!

Alex: Let go of me!

Roman: Watch it. Back off!

Marlena: What are you doing? What are you doing?

John: Trying to save your life.

Marlena: Are you crazy?

John: He was attacking you.

Alex: What?!

Marlena: He wasn't attacking me. Okay. Let go of him. The fire had gone out. One of the embers had jumped out, caught fire on my clothes. I was trying -- he pushed me down. He was trying to put it out with his hands.

John: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, maybe he didn't hurt you this time, but it's only a matter of time until he does.

*************************************************************

Sami: What do you mean you aren't with Mike anymore? What happened? Everything sounded great when I was talking to you just recently when you were in Israel. Oh. You weren't in Israel, were you?

Carrie: No, I wasn’t.

Sami: That's why the connection was so good. But why did you lie to me? I mean, why did you say that everything was great with Mike?

Carrie: No, you assumed that. And as for what happened between me and Mike, I'm not gonna get into that here.

Sami: I'm your sister.

Carrie: I know.

Sami: Then why did you keep it from us?

Austin: Uh, you know what? You didn't tell me what hotel you're staying at.

Lucas: Uh, she's actually staying with me.

Carrie: Yeah, um, all the hotels were booked up for the holidays, and my dad doesn't have a house here anymore, so Lucas was kind enough to offer me his spare bedroom.

Austin: Well, that means that you're right down the hall from me.

Sami: You mean right down the hall from us, right, Austin?

*************************************************************

Hope: Belle and Philip must be beside themselves.

Shawn D.: To put it mildly.

Mimi: You know, we've been doing our best to help keep them strong and positive. It's just so hard.

Hope: They're very lucky to have friends like you. That poor baby. The hospital's got to find her a new liver, Bo.

Bo: We've been doing everything we can to help the hospital find a match.. Hey, I know you want to get back there. This shouldn't take too long. How you doing on the set up?

Man: I am just about ready for you.

Bo: Okay, great. This picture's gonna mean a lot to you know who.

Shawn D.: I know. I know.

Hope: Come on, sweetie.

Man: Let's get everybody over by the Christmas tree.

Hope: Come on, Zach. Take a picture with mommy and daddy.

Man: Now, why don't you pick the little guy up?

Bo: Oh, okay.

Hope: Hey, Chels, you're part of this family. Get over here with us. Come on.

Chelsea: Are you sure?

Bo: Chelsea, come on. Get over here.

Shawn D.: Mimi, you too. Come on.

Mimi: Oh, no, that wouldn't be right.

Shawn D.: Mom, can you help me out here?

Hope: I think it would be lovely. Come on, Mimi, join us.

Mimi: Thank you.

Man: Okay. Girlfriend next to boyfriend.

Hope: Yes.

Bo: Everybody ready?

Man: Everybody ready.

Bo: Look at the camera.

Man: Okay. One, two, three, smile.

[Camera shutter clicks]

Bo: Whoa! Hey!

Chelsea: Hit him.

Bo: Oh, my goodness. That's quite an arm you got there. Oh, watch out.

Hope: Wow, that's quite an arm. Let me get through here.

*************************************************************

Bo: Hey. Thanks for including Chelsea in the picture.

Hope: Hey, she's family.

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: I was a little surprised when Shawn asked Mimi to be in it.

Bo: Oh, me too.

Hope: I guess he's really over Belle.

Bo: I guess so. They make kind of a cute couple.

Hope: Looks like they're getting serious.

Bo: Mm-hmm. I know that you wanted him to end up with Belle, but --

Hope: No, I wanted for him to be happy, and it looks like he is.

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: And that makes me happy. Look at zach. It looks like he's very happy with his new big sister.

Bo: Yes, it does.

Hope: And it looks like she's happy with her father.

Bo: For the time being. When she got all angry with me 'cause I didn't intervene to save her license, and after I gave her that Christmas present, I didn't think there'd be any way for her to smile for that picture tonight.

Hope: Nobody has the ability to hurt us like our children do. When I think of what we've been through with Shawn this past year --

Bo: Well, I did the same thing to my folks growing up.

Hope: And just think, we get to do it all over again with Zach.

Bo: No. He'll be the exception to the rule.

Hope: Can I quote you on that in about 10, 12 years?

Bo: No, you cannot. No.

Hope: [Laughs]

Bo: Hey, there, Tiny Man. What's up?

Hope: Hi, sweetie.

Zach: I love you. This is the best Christmas ever!

Hope: Aw.

Bo: Ever.

Hope: Ever. I'm glad, sweetheart.

*************************************************************

Mimi: You didn't have to include me in your family photo. You know that.

Shawn D.: I didn't do it because I had to. I did it because I wanted to. I wanted you and my parents and everyone to see that I'm very serious about us having a future together. Plus, we can look back at this photo, and we can say, "oh, that was the Christmas it all started."

Mimi: Thank you. And hopefully, we'll also remember it as the day that things turned around for Claire.

Shawn D.: Yeah. Excuse me, nurse, has there been any word about a liver donor yet?

Glena: I'm afraid not.

Shawn D.: I hate this.

Mimi: So do I.

Shawn D.: I feel so damn helpless. And I can't even imagine what Belle and Philip are going through right now.

Mimi: Well, I don't think they have much choice. You know, your mom was right. I mean, it has to help knowing they've got friends here who care.

Shawn D.: Yeah, I hope so.

Mimi: I know so. Except, as much as they need us now... they're gonna need us even more --

Shawn D.: No, no, no. That's not gonna happen. It can’t.

Mimi: I know. I know. But if it does... I mean, I know that Claire is Belle and Philip's daughter, but she's also our Goddaughter, and she's kind of like the daughter that I can never have. And if we lose her, it's just... okay, that sounds really selfish. I know that what we're going through doesn't compare to what they're going through, so...

Shawn D.: No, it's okay. We're gonna be there for Belle and Philip. And we're gonna be there for each other. We'll get through this...

Mimi: Yeah.

Shawn D.: ...Together.

Mimi: Okay. We'll get through this together.

*************************************************************

Carrie: It's okay, Austin. Lucas has already told me that you and Sami and Nicole are sharing the apartment platonically as well as using it for Austin Reed and company's office.

Austin: Well, it's all temporary. I just signed a lease on a new place that'll be our company's official headquarters. It's where I'll be living... alone.

Carrie: Congratulations. Hope I get a chance to see it.

Austin: So do I. So, how long are you in town for?

Carrie: Not really sure. There's a lot of people that I want to catch up with.

Austin: I bet there are. You've been gone a long time.

Carrie: So have you.

Lucas: Actually, Carrie, we should get going. I'm sure Philip called the apartment if there's any news on Claire.

Carrie: Merry Christmas, Sami.

Sami: Merry Christmas, and welcome home, sis.

Austin: Hey, maybe we can get together, you know, while you're here.

Carrie: I'd like that.

Austin: Me too.

Lucas: Don't get distracted from your work. A start-up company can be very vulnerable.

Austin: Yeah, I'll keep that in mind.

Sami: Maybe we should get going, too.

Austin: Yeah. I want to check in on Philip again. You want to come and see how Belle's doing?

Sami: I think that she doesn't need any more distractions from her baby, but let her know that I'm praying for Claire.

Austin: Will do.

*************************************************************

Sami: Damn it.

Glena: Sami? Is that you?

Sami: Hi, Glena.

Glena: Sorry about your niece, but hopefully they'll find a donor.

Sami: Yeah.

Glena: Well, I gotta run. Happy Holidays.

Sami: With Carrie back in Salem and single -- Happy freakin' New Year.

*************************************************************

Jennifer: [Gasps]

Abby: Wow, look.

Jennifer: Look at this.

Frankie: It's Cosmo.

Jennifer: What do you say? Can you say, "thank you, Frankie"? Look at that.

Frankie: It's nice and soft.

Jennifer: He likes it. What's in there? Oh, my goodness.

Abby: Frankie, I love it. Thank you.

Frankie: Good, good. I'm glad. I'm glad.

Jennifer: You did not need to do this.

Frankie: Yes, I did.

Jennifer: [Gasps] Wow. Look at this.

Frankie: Is it all right?

Jennifer: Yes, it's wonderful. Thank you so much.

Frankie: You're welcome.

Jennifer: You really did not have to do this. This was so kind of you.

Frankie: It was my pleasure. It was the least I could do.

Jennifer: How did you know that I like Charles Dickens?

Jack: I love you all so much. But it has to be this way, so... Merry Christmas, Jennifer, Abigail, and Jack Jr. and... goodbye.

Marlena: What is the matter with you? Let go of him! Alex loves me. He would never hurt me.

Alex: Exactly.

John: Shut up.

Marlena: John, let him go. You all right?

Alex: I'm fine. I'm fine.

Roman: Doc, I'm gonna tell you something. We have evidence that Dr. North could be dangerous.

John: Is dangerous.

Marlena: This is absurd.

Alex: Oh, it's just more of his jealous paranoia.

Kate: No. It's not. It appears to be true.

Marlena: What do you mean?

John: We've got proof that I've been right about him all along. Man's a monster. I'm getting you away from him. I'm putting an end to this nightmare right now.

*************************************************************

Lucas: If you're meant to be with Austin, there's nothing Sami can do or say to stop it.

Carrie: But it sure won't stop her from trying.

*************************************************************

Nicole: He will start falling for me all over again.

Sami: You think that you and Austin are gonna be a couple?

*************************************************************

Chelsea: We're all alone in the house for once. It's a perfect opportunity.

*************************************************************

John: Only thing you can do is file charges against Dr. North -- charges that are gonna send him to prison and get him out of your life for good.
