Sami: [Sighs] Can't I please have things work out this time? All I want is to be with Lucas and Will and for us to be a happy family. Oh, God, please, don't let tony DiMera ruin my happiness.

Lucas: Hey, what's wrong?

Sami: Lucas, Lucas.

Lucas: What?

Sami: You aren't supposed to see the wedding dress before the wedding.

Lucas: I've seen it before, though, honey.

Sami: That doesn't count. This time, it counts 'cause we're really getting married.

Lucas: All right, I won't look at the dress. How about I just look at your lips instead? Mmm. I got to go or else I'll be walking down the aisle in my underwear.

Sami: I don't mind.

Lucas: Come on, come on. I want you to see me in my tux. I'm gonna look great. And then, when we get on our honeymoon, you can rip it off.

Sami: Promise?

Lucas: Oh, yeah. Things are finally going our way. We're getting married.. Tony DiMera's in custody.

Sami: Yeah, well, Lucas, you got to go, right? You don't want to be late for your fitting.

Lucas: No, I won’t. You know when things are really gonna be great?

Sami: When we give will a little brother or sister?

Lucas: Well, yeah, that, too. But when Stan is captured. Now that DiMera's in custody, there's no way he can cover up for him.

Man: Shall we begin?

Sami: You mean my...

Man: [Echoing] Transformation... transformation. Take a good look, Miss Brady. When I'm finished, even you won't be able to recognize yourself. [ Echoing] Transformation... transformation.

Lucas: Love you.

Sami: I love you, too. Oh, God!

[Sobbing]

Roman: Hey, sweetheart. Sami, what's wrong?

Billie: Hey.

Chelsea: [Sighs] Don't worry, Billie. There's no guys under my covers.

Billie: There better not be.

Chelsea: Trust me. After the scene you made last night, no guy will ever look at me again.

Billie: Oh, yeah. You're probably right.

Chelsea: You know, when word gets out about you barging in on me and Max Brady, one of the hottest guys in the world, I'm gonna be totally humiliated.

Billie: Chelsea, I promised your mother that I would look after you, and that's all I was trying to do.

Chelsea: Don't you talk about my mother. Don't you ever say her name. My mother was cool, and she would have had no problem with me getting together with Max.

Billie: No mother wants her daughter --

Chelsea: My mother wanted me to be happy. And I almost was last night for the first time since she and dad died. But thanks to you, you ruined it. Just get out and stay out of my life.

Billie: Ohhh.

Patrick: Well, I don't have to ask how you are this morning. Another run-in with Chelsea?

Billie: I'll survive.

Patrick: Billie, what if she's really Georgia?

Billie: Don't say that. Come on. It would be too much of a coincidence -- the two of us living under the same roof? Don't be ridiculous.

Patrick: Maybe, but Tony did say that we'd recognize the name of whatever Georgia goes by here in Salem. Who else fits?

Billie: About 100 other girls. How about some of the girls that Abby goes to school with and the girls that are a lot more --

Patrick: Yeah, a lot more like what?

Billie: Never mind.

Patrick: A lot more how you dreamed your daughter would be, which is nothing like Chelsea, right?

Caroline: Kate.

Kate: Hey. You're back at work already?

Caroline: I couldn't wait. Booth or counter?

Kate: Um, actually, I think I'll join John.

Caroline: Are you sure? I know you and John were engaged when Roman and Marlena were held prisoner.

Kate: We thought they were dead. And, yes, I'm sure.

Caroline: You have company, John.

Kate: Hi. Oh, don't get up. It's okay.

John: Please, sit.

Kate: Thanks. Um, if there's coffee in that pot, I'd like a cup. Thanks. That's a lovely welcome. I think she hates me.

John: No, Caroline doesn't hate anyone. She just wants her son to be happy.

Kate: Yeah, well, I know how that feels. That's all I want for Lucas, and no one understands that, especially Roman.

John: Don't worry about it. Sami's gonna screw up again. It's just a matter of time until Lucas wises up.

Kate: You're right. You're always right. Not that, that helps with Roman, though, especially since he's pining away after Marlena. [Sighs] How is she?

John: Wish I knew. All I did was fly them up to the cabin and leave her there with Dr. North.

Kate: Well, if it helps her get her memory back --

John: And what if all she remembers is being in love with Roman? Where does that leave you and me?

Marlena: Mmm. [Gasps] Oh! Oh. How long you been sitting, watching me like that?

Alex: Like what?

Marlena: Like I'm some sort of exhibit at the zoo.

Alex: Oh, no. I prefer to think of it like watching sleeping beauty. Are you hungry? I've made you some breakfast -- biscuits and jelly, pot of hot tea.

Marlena: Wow. That's mighty nice after the way I behaved last night.

Alex: Oh, last night's last night. This is a brand-new day, and I hope you're feeling much better after your good night's sleep.

Marlena: I'm feeling embarrassed. I can't believe I burst into tears and ran out of the room.

Alex: Well, you were obviously quite upset by whatever it was you remembered last night. Care to talk about it?

Marlena: [Gasps] I'm afraid that if I tell you, you'll just laugh.

Alex: I promise I won’t.

Marlena: I remembered... being in love with you.

Nicole: Oh! Oh, Lucas! Come on!

Lucas: What's this? What, you're not too happy 'cause you got kicked out of your house, and Victor found out about your affair with your step-grandson, Brady? Is that it, Nicole?

Nicole: Just give me that.

Lucas: Let's see what we got here. Oh, you're loaded -- 2 bucks. That's not even enough for a latte at the java café.

Nicole: Thank you.

Lucas: You're welcome. And your tissue. Boy, look at you. Once paid $5 million to marry me. Now you're broke, back where you started. That's got to hurt, Nicole.

Nicole: I suppose you think your life is perfect, Lucas.

Lucas: Actually, right now, it is pretty perfect. I have everything I want. I have a great kid and a great future. I'm gonna marry the woman I love.

Nicole: You're such an idiot. You have no idea that you're sleeping with your archenemy.

Lucas: Can't we just agree to hate each other and move on?

Nicole: Hey, wait a minute. You don't have any idea what I'm talking about, do you?

Lucas: No, Nicole. What are you talking about?

Nicole: What's it worth to you to find out?

Roman: Sami, what is it? I thought things were finally turning around for you.

Sami: They are, dad. It's just so many of my weddings have ended in disaster, you know? I'm just nervous. What if something happens to ruin this one?

Roman: Nothing is gonna happen to ruin your big day. You hear that? Absolutely nothing. I am gonna walk my beautiful daughter down the aisle. You and Lucas are gonna exchange vows. Will's gonna be so damn proud, his buttons are gonna pop 'cause his parents finally got it right. And more importantly, I will finally have you off my hands for good.

Sami: Dad!

Roman: You know damn well I'm kidding you. You are a handful, but you know how deep my love goes. And I would hate to see you disappointed again. So if there's something standing in the way of your happiness --

Sami: No, dad, nothing.

Roman: You sure about that? I noticed you got a little edgy when you saw Tony DiMera in captivity.

Sami: Well, dad, he's tried to kill practically everyone that I love. And the last time I saw him, Lucas and the guys and I were about to be executed on Tony's orders. He's not exactly my favorite person.

Roman: Well, you know what? That I understand. But it was just -- it was the way he looked at you, back and forth. It was kind of like maybe he knew something that the rest of us didn’t.

Sami: Well, he hates me. And now that he's been caught, he's probably gonna make up all sorts of lies about me. Has he said anything yet? I mean, has he been questioned?

Roman: Oh, yeah, yeah. He's been questioned. The police and the I.S.A. have been grilling him around-the-clock.

Sami: And?

Roman: And nothing. He just sits there with that smug look on his face. Now, let me ask you something. Why are you so worried about it? Sami, talk to me. Please don't tell me that Tony's got something on you.

Lucas: What do you think you know about Sami, huh?

Nicole: I know something that would turn you and Sami's family and this whole freaking town -- hell, the whole world -- against her if they knew.

Sami: Lucas is not gonna find out that I was Stan.

Nicole: Sami... you wouldn't want him or your parents or your son to find out you were the infamous Stan. There is a bounty out on you, Sami.

Nicole: You see, Lucas, I have this theory that deep down, people are born the way they are, and they stay the way they are. Sami's gonna deep fry your heart, cut it up in little pieces, and then put it in the chowder at the Brady Pub.

Lucas: That's nice. You sound like my mom.

Nicole: Yeah. I hate to agree with Kate on anything, but this time, she is so right.

Kate: I think you could give Roman lessons in being an understanding husband. You've really been magnificent with Marlena. She's lucky.

John: She used to say so. But depending on what Dr. North gets her to remember, my marriage to marlena may be over.

Kate: That's not gonna happen.

John: I've been doing a lot of reading on the internet about amnesia. And combined with my own experience, the person that comes back isn't always the same. It's quite possible that when Marlena regains her memories, she could be a completely different woman -- a woman with a completely different set of emotions.

Marlena: I remember kissing you, and it was very vivid and very real.

Alex: The kiss?

Marlena: No, it was more than that. It was... it was all so intense. I was in love with you. I-I know you said that, that's transference, that these are feelings I had for some other man, some other time. I mean, you're my psychiatrist. I...I don't really know you, do I?

Alex: This transference, the projecting of your memories onto me, it's all quite common in situations like this. The state of amnesia leaves a person feeling very vulnerable. You have a need to feel safe. I provide that. Go with it.

Marlena: Go with it?

Alex: Yes. Don't fight these memories.

Marlena: Oh, I see what you mean. Yes, these feelings that I think are for you are really feelings that I had for Roman or for John. Do you think that means something?

Alex: Hmm? What?

Marlena: Well... who I remember being in love with first.

Alex: Maybe. There's also a third possibility.

Marlena: What do you mean?

Alex: You might be remembering being in love with another man.

Billie: It's not like I wouldn't want Chelsea to be my daughter, but she had her own parents. Mickey Horton was handling Mr. and Mrs. Benson's estate. I mean, he was in charge of looking over Chelsea's birth records for inheritance purposes. She wasn't adopted.

Patrick: Okay. Maybe you're right. I'm sorry if I upset you, but remember, Tony said you got a big clue, and it wasn't from him.

Billie: Yeah.

Patrick: Well, there's something I keep remembering that happened right after the accident that killed Chelsea's parents. When she needed a blood transfusion, you were the match.

Billie: So?

Patrick: Chelsea's blood has a rare marker, the same as yours. Maybe it wasn't a coincidence we all thought it was at the time.

Billie: Well, obviously, you're not gonna get off my back until I find out the truth.

Patrick: Whoa. Where are you going?

Billie: To find the one person who knows for sure. Cheryl Hickey.

Chelsea: You know, morning's my favorite time to swim, too.

Patrick: I'm almost done cleaning it.

Chelsea: Okay. Um, I'll just get some sun then. Thank God Billie's out of the house, right? Is it just me, or does she make things tense?

Patrick: You know, you're not being fair to Billie. She's a kind, loving person.

Chelsea: Excuse me? Don't tell me you're hot for the wicked witch.

Guard: Toughest nut I've ever tried to crack. Won't give an inch.

Billie: Well, I may have a different way to break him down.

Guard: He's all yours. Have fun.

Billie: Thanks.

[Exhales sharply]

Tony: Well, you certainly took your time. I've been sitting here bored, waiting for you. What game shall we play?

Roman: Sami, you're not answering me. You're making me nervous as hell. Does Tony have something on you or not?

Sami: Dad, I already told you that he tried to make me come over to his side. You know, he -- he told me that you and mom were alive and that he would get you two back together if I helped him.

Roman: What did he want you to do for him?

Sami: I don't know. I turned him down. But now that he's caught, he's probably gonna blame that on me for not helping him. And it just scares me, dad.

Roman: Sweetheart, I will protect you. I promise you. But you got to tell me the truth.

Sami: I am, dad. I swear. It's just -- you have to know how hard that decision was for me. I have always wanted you and mom to get back together. But -- but maybe when she gets her memory back, she'll remember how much she loves you, dad, and then, you know, maybe we could have a double wedding. Wouldn't that be amazing?

Roman: That would be science fiction, is what it would be. Your mom is married to John.

Sami: I know. But you left Kate. Maybe mom could divorce John, and then you're in. And then I could have my whole family back together.

Roman: Will you stop daydreaming about that, all right? Concentrate on being good to Lucas and being good in general.

Sami: I'll try, dad. I love you.

Roman: I love you, too. See you later... my beautiful daughter.

Sami: Get out of here. [Sighs] I just can't lose him again. I swear, if someone tries to come between me and Lucas... I'll just have to kill them, that's all.

Lucas: You know what? I'm not gonna let you or my mom hurt Sami ever again. I think about it sometimes. I think about how miserable I was when I was married to you and how happy I'm gonna be when I marry Sami. Kind of makes me laugh.

Nicole: Yeah, well, the joke's gonna be on you, Lucas. You just don't know it yet. Man, I need a drink.

John: I hope this isolation therapy of Dr. North's does the trick.

Kate: I know. Unfortunately, I think Roman feels the same way. You know something, John? I don't think Roman ever really got over loving Marlena.

Marlena: Oh, those flowers.

Alex: Yes?

Marlena: Oh, they're beautiful. They're familiar somehow. I think they're my favorites.

Alex: Are they bringing on some memory?

Marlena: No, nothing specific -- just that I like the way they make me feel and I want to have their scent around me forever.

Alex: That's good, very good. Just let those sense memories wash over you.

Marlena: I don't want to lose you. Oh. Oh. I-I'm sorry. I don't know why I said that. I'm just confused. I'm married to one man, I was pregnant with my ex-husband's child, and I can't stop thinking about you.

Alex: You just -- you need to clear your mind of all that.

Marlena: I wish I could.

Alex: Then will you trust me now?

Marlena: I do trust you.

Alex: Good. Because the best way to free your mind is to first of all free your body. You can start by taking off your clothes.

Marlena: What?

Alex: Your clothes... all of them.

Kate: You know, I can't help but think that I might have lost Roman a long time ago... before Marlena got pregnant. I wonder if I really ever had his love or if I was what he settled for because he couldn't have his precious Doc.

John: Don't you ever sell yourself short. You're a hell of a woman, Kate..

Kate: [Sighs] I guess I, uh... I guess I should just concentrate on getting my family back, right? I miss Lucas and Will and Rex.

John: So, what can I do to help?

Kate: I really wish you could. Thanks for offering. I'll think of something. But you know something? I think everything's going to work out just the way it's supposed to. If you need to talk...

John: Works both ways.

Roman: Hello, Kate.

Kate: "What's she doing in my ma's pub?" He thinks angrily. Well, it's a public place, and I like the omelets, so I'm sorry if you're going to have to run into me occasionally.

Roman: You know what, Kate? Doesn't make any difference to me. It's just these days, I prefer to eat alone.

Nicole: Mmm. Hello, there, Caroline. What are you doing here? Or do you and Victor meet later in the day for a little afternoon delight?

Caroline: I'm not gonna dignify that with an answer.

Nicole: Here you go.

Caroline: That's the last drink on the house you'll get here. Might as well tear up this card. It's been cut off. Victor's not paying your way anymore, hmm? Good for him. And you're not getting any free food out of the Brady family either.

Kate: Caroline, you can put Nicole's food on my card.

Caroline: Really?

Kate: Yeah. It's just a thing with me. I hate to see a woman kicked when she's down. I've been there myself.

Nicole: You know, Kate, when you were down and out, it was because I replaced you in Victor's bed. What's the real reason you're buying me breakfast?

Kate: I could use your services.

Nicole: Why do I have the feeling I'm gonna regret this?

Tony: Why would I do that?

Billie: Because... I remember the old Tony. And I'm not leaving here until I get it.

Tony: [Chuckles]

Nicole: All right, Kate. What's your offer?

Kate: I'm offering you the chance to put Sami Brady's head on a platter.

Nicole: No. Sorry, no deal.

Caroline: Enjoy it.

Roman: Thank you, ma.

John: You're still freezing Kate out, huh?

Roman: John, you know what? I'm not looking for advice right now.

John: The main reason that you're bailing on your marriage to Kate is because you want my wife back.

Roman: That's not true, John, but you're right. She was my wife till you took her away.

John: We love each other, Roman.

Roman: John... I know you love her, but in her state of mind right now, who in the hell knows what's going on in Doc's heart? All I know is that you okayed this doctor's plan to take her up to this romantic cabin in the woods for isolation therapy, isolated from everybody who cares for her. Now, didn't make a lot of sense unless you're just so damn desperate to get her away from me.

John: I was just following Dr. North's recommendation. And as her husband, it's my decision.

Roman: You're right. It is your decision. But if she gets hurt up there or comes back worse than she was, then that's also your responsibility.

Marlena: You want me to undress? I don't feel comfortable being examined..

Alex: I'm sorry. I didn't mean that the way it sounded. What I meant was I think you should take a nice, long, hot bath. I've found that they tend to clear the mind.

Marlena: A bath sounds very nice.

Alex: Good. Right this way. Help yourself to whatever -- bubble bath, plenty of towels. The most important thing -- get in the tub and relax.

Marlena: Thank you. Thank you.

Alex: This is going even better than I thought.

John: Dr. North happens to be the number-one specialist in the country in memory retrieval. I'm paying him a freaking fortune, Roman, but the fact is, I would give him every penny that I own if Marlena would come back as her old self. Now, what part of that do you have a problem with?

Roman: John, believe me, I hope this experimental therapy works, all right? But even specialists can have ulterior motives. You don't know Dr. North. None of us do. But yet you send Doc up there like he's the most trustworthy person in the world. What if he's not?

Nicole: Why me, hmm? I don't know anything about Sami.

Kate: Were you so drunk, you don't remember our last conversation?

Nicole: Oh! Oh!

Kate: Look, Nicole, we both know that you have major dirt on Sami. So why don't you just tell me what it is, and I'll owe you a major favor? And frankly, you look like a woman who could use any favor she could get right now.

Lucas: Hey. Damn!

Sami: Lucas, what is it? What's wrong?

Lucas: Just spoke to my sister. She gave me the latest Intel on Tony's interrogation.

Sami: She did?

Lucas: Yeah, she did. She's got I.S.A. clearance. You know that?

Sami: Right. Yeah, of course. What did Tony say?

Patrick: Okay, miss know-it-all. Why would being with Billie ruin my life?

Chelsea: Oh, come on, Patrick. She's so wrong for you, it's funny. I mean, first of all, she's way too old for you.

Patrick: Well, Billie and I are about the same age.

Chelsea: Look, I didn't really want to get into all of this, but Billie's I.S.A. I mean, she took an oath to enforce the law. Doesn't that make you the teeniest bit nervous?

Patrick: Why should it?

Chelsea: You and I have a lot in common, Patrick. Neither of us play by the rules. We both take risks. There may be times when we bend the law a little bit, but it's only if it's worth it, right? So, I just don't understand why you'd want to be with a rulebook type when you could be having fun with someone who's made just for you.

Billie: Game time is over. You said that Georgia's in Salem and that she goes by another name but it's one that would be familiar to us. Who is she? Who is Georgia? I have waited 18 years to be with my daughter. Don't be a bastard, Tony. Tell me who she is.

Sami: DiMera is such a slime ball, he'd say anything.

Lucas: No, he won’t. That's the problem, Sami. He won't talk at all. It's just a matter of time. It's a matter of time before he changes his mind and gives up Stan's identity. He's got to.

Sami: Lucas, honey, just listen to me. Can't we please just forget about Tony DiMera? Hasn't he ruined our lives enough already? Let's just focus on us, on Will, on -- on getting married. Don't we deserve just to be happy?

Lucas: Yes, we do.

Kate: If you take this money, you have to come through because I don't want to see Lucas with Sami again.

Nicole: Unfortunately... I'm sworn to secrecy.

Kate: What the hell are you talking about?

Nicole: Oh, relax. Somebody else knows the truth about Sami.

Kate: Who?

Nicole: [Laughs] I can't do all the work.

Kate: Nicole, I just gave you $500.

Nicole: Fine. I'll give you a little hint. Think dastardly, evil bastard.. Anything coming to mind?

Kate: Oh, my God.

Nicole: It will if you think about it long enough. The worst person Sami could have gotten mixed up with, who got her to do something that everyone in Salem will hate her for.

Kate: There's only one person who fits that description, and that's Tony DiMera. Oh, my God. Tony DiMera.

Tony: No more dramatics. I'll tell you, but I'm not sure you want to hear it. You asked for it. Your daughter's name is Chelsea Benson.

Chelsea: Isn't it obvious, Patrick? I'm younger. I'm hotter. You should be with me.

John: What do you think --

Caroline: Boys, boys! I know you're not boys. That's just a habit of mine. I think of both of you as my sons. I always will. But whatever happens with Marlena will happen, and there is no use the two of you fighting. You finished your breakfast?

Roman: Yeah, ma, yeah. Take it away. Thank you.

Caroline: I'll clear the plate.

Roman: You know what, John? Ma is absolutely right.

John: Usually is.

Roman: It just... I'm on edge, man. I'm on edge. I have been ever since I broke up with Kate.

John: Maybe that was a mistake.

Roman: Well... I guess that is my problem.

John: Right. As far as Dr. North goes, I got to trust him and so do you. What choice do we have?

Marlena: I feel much better.

Alex: Did you remember something?

Marlena: I remember... doing this.

Chelsea: If I were you, I would be more focused on my own husband. For all you know, Bo could be cheating on you right now. Do you even know where he is?

Bo: If it turns out Chelsea's our daughter and he touches her again, he's a dead man.
