Brady: I want to hear how I could have heard Chloe’s voice if it wasn't really her, and don't tell me it was my imagination.

Nicole: All right. I've been thinking a lot about this, okay? And I think you probably did hear Chloe’s voice.

Brady: Probably? Nicole, what the hell? You were with her. You had to be.

Nicole: I wasn't with her, Brady. Please. Think about who placed the call.

Brady: Tony DiMera.

Nicole: Exactly. He's playing you like a fiddle. Brady, how can you be so gullible? You think you heard Chloe’s voice because he wanted you to think that. It's obviously just another DiMera trick. Look, he was trying to distract you so he could escape, which he did.

Brady: Nicole, it was not just another DiMera trick. That is impossible!

Nicole: No, it's not! It's a very plausible explanation, and you know it. You just don't want to admit it, even to yourself, because you don't want it to be true.

[Indistinct conversations]

Sami: All right, Tony. Tell me what the hell you want from me, other than to torture me with your threats.

Tony: What? You don't think you deserve it? Huh? After you broke your word and reneged on our deal?

Sami: Oh, you want to talk about that deal? Tony, you swore that you wouldn't do anything to hurt Lucas or the other guys, and then you did a complete 180.

Tony: We tried to make you see, Samantha. We couldn't afford to leave any incriminating evidence behind. Could you imagine if people found out that you're involved in taking a U.S. Marine hostage? Goodness, you'd be the most hated woman in America.

Sami: I had nothing to do with taking Philip hostage. That was all you.

Tony: True, true. But who's gonna believe you?

Sami: Okay, why don't we just declare a truce. You know, you stop messing with me, and I will stop messing with you. We can just forget this ever happened and move on with our lives.

Tony: Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?

Sami: Look, I realize that I made a huge mistake, but I am going to learn from it this time.

Tony: [Chuckles] Oh, I promise you're going to learn from it. I'm gonna make sure that you do.

Sami: Damn you, Tony. What the hell are you gonna do to me?

Tony: Well, I may not go after you directly. Maybe I'll just go after those that you love -- like your mother and your father -- even Lucas.

Hope: I feel terrible for Philip. [Sighs] He's been through months of hell, and I'm sure he's counting every minute until he can be with his wife again. Belle loves Shawn. They deserve to be happy, Bo.

Bo: I'm not saying who deserves what. All I'm saying is that Shawn should be prepared to live his life without Belle.

Hope: Why do you say that?

Bo: She's married to Philip. You -- it'd be wrong of Shawn to break it up.

Shawn D.: I have to find Belle. She should not be alone right now.

Kate: You stay away from her! How dare you go anywhere near her right now!

Roman: Kate. Kate. Kate, listen to me. Take it easy, all right? Look, I know you're hurting. We all are. But I'm here, and I'm gonna get you through this, okay?

Kate: I am never gonna get through this. That's my baby. Philip is my baby. He was my boy. He didn't deserve this, Roman.

Belle: Yes, this is she. How is Philip? How's he doing? Oh, my God. No. [ Sobbing] It can't be true.

Kate: Why did this happen to him? Why did this happen to my son?

Marlena: When we got the news about Philip being wounded, I never dreamed it would end like this.

John: Neither did I. I'm in shock.

Marlena: Belle is, also.

Shawn D.: Why aren't you two with her?

John: We drove Belle home to the loft. She asked to be alone.

Marlena: We didn't want to leave her, but we had to respect her wishes. And so do you, Shawn.

John: In other words, you go after my daughter, I'm gonna stop you.

Rex: Lucas, have you seen Mimi?

Lucas: No, I haven’t. Why?

Rex: We're having a great time making plans for our future, and then all of a sudden, she just blurts out that she can't marry me.

Lucas: She what? Why?

Rex: That's what I'd like to know, but I can't find her anywhere. And when she took off, she was really upset.

Lucas: She couldn't have found out about Philip already, could she?

Rex: There's news about Philip?

Lucas: You didn't hear?

Rex: What is it? What's going on?

Lucas: It's bad, Rex. It's really bad. It's worse than you could ever imagine.

Belle: Mimi? What are you doing here?

Mimi: [Sniffles] I had to get away from Rex. What's wrong? What happened?

Belle: It's Philip.

Mimi: [Gasps] Oh, my God.

Belle: No, he's not dead. He survived the surgery...

Mimi: Oh, thank God.

Belle: ...But they [Sobbing] Had to cut off his leg, Mimi.

Mimi: Oh, my God!

Belle: [Sobbing] He lost his leg. They amputated it.

Belle: The doctor said to save his life, they had to do it. They had to amputate his leg. The damage from the land mine was too severe.

Mimi: Oh, my God. Poor Philip. I can't believe it.

Belle: I can't believe it either. I can't even think about it -- what he must be going through. It's just horrible.

Mimi: Does he know what happened? I mean, have they told him yet?

Belle: I don't know. I don't think so. He's still in recovery -- unconscious.

Mimi: Why are you here? Why aren't you with your mom or dad or Shawn?

Belle: I just need to be alone, okay?

Belle: No, I want you to stay. Help me pack.

Mimi: Pack?

Belle: Philip needs me. I'm going to be by my husband's side.

Rex: This can't be happening. They did not amputate Philip’s leg.

Lucas: It's from the knee down. It was his left leg.

Rex: My God.

Lucas: John found out. Philip's lucky to be alive.

John: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just call me when it's ready.

Kate: What happened?

Marlena: Is there a problem with the plane?

John: After my jet picked up the boys and Sami from the war zone, it needs maintenance. Won't be operational for a couple days.

Marlena: Belle needs to get to Philip tonight.

John: I know, I know, and I'll get her there one way or another. I got a couple more calls to make.

Marlena: Thank you, honey.

Shawn D.: Marlena, maybe Belle shouldn't go. Seeing Philip like this is only gonna make her more upset.

Kate: Oh, well, you would really like that, wouldn't you? To leave Philip all alone and suffering while you stay here, and you take care of his wife, right?

Marlena: Kate, take it easy. Take it easy. It won't change anything. Let's go sit down. I'll get you some water, okay?

Roman: Yeah, go ahead with Marlena, sweetheart. I'll be right here. Shawn...listen to me, all right? You need to put your feelings aside. Let Kate and Belle do what they have to do.

Shawn D.: I'm not letting Belle go through this alone.

Roman: I'm sorry, but you don't have a choice.

Rex: I knew it was a bad idea for Philip to rejoin his unit. But neither of us could talk him out of it. He was determined to serve out his tour of duty.

Lucas: I'll tell you whose fault this is. It's that little punk Stan. Working for Tony DiMera. He probably led Philip to Tony’s trap the same way he did us.

Rex: Yeah, but if Philip had never been captured, he never would have ended up in that area.

Lucas: Or wind up in an abandoned minefield.

Sami: You stay the hell away from my family, Tony. Do you hear me?

Tony: I'll do as I damn well please, just like you did when you betrayed me. Or like you always do when the mood strikes you. Well, Samantha, or should I say Stan, you have to learn that there are serious consequences to your actions. And this time you're not gonna be able to talk yourself out of it or blame somebody else. No, this time, you're gonna go down.

Brady: Oh, this ought to be good. Explain to me how Tony set it up to make me think I heard Chloe’s voice.

Nicole: Okay, uh, this is how it happened -- the phone rang, I answered it, and there was a long delay.

Brady: Uh, no. I believe the phone rang, and Chloe picked up immediately.

Nicole: Maybe on your end.

Brady: What do you mean "my end"?

Nicole: Don't you get it? Chloe doesn't have a phone. She's dead. Tony dialed my number, and he must have a tape or something with Chloe answering and saying hello.

Brady: No, she said more than that. She was like, "hello? Hello? Is anybody there?"

Nicole: Oh, whatever. I'm sure Tony is able to put four words together. But on my end, I answered to total silence. I kept saying, "hello? Hello?" And there was no answer, and then finally, I heard you say, "Chloe, if you're there, talk to me." And I couldn't figure out what you were talking about, but now I know. Tony used me to set this whole thing up. It is so obvious.

Chloe: [Thinking] Wow, she's not giving up.

Brady: Think about it. Tony couldn't have known that I would be captured in that bunker. He couldn't have known that I would be holding him at gunpoint while he was trying to escape.

Nicole: How the hell should I know, Brady? I mean, Tony’s a criminal mastermind. He probably has voice samples of everyone in Salem that he can access electronically.

Brady: That is the most unbelievable, ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Nicole: Oh, really? Okay. Well, it makes more sense than you saying Chloe’s alive and that everyone's conspiring to keep her away from you, including Chloe.

Hope: Shawn loving Belle is not wrong. It's just a fact. Bo, they love each other. They have forever.

Bo: Belle and Philip took vows.

Hope: I know that, but it was a terrible mistake. Belle is not in love with Philip. So what are you saying? Wait, wait, wait, wait. Are you saying that she should stay married to him and live a lie?

Bo: She married the guy. She must have strong feelings for him.

Hope: Belle married Philip because she thought Shawn had deserted her.

Bo: He did desert her.

Hope: Wait. For God sake, Bo, Jan kidnapped our son and then held him prisoner.

Bo: No, wait. He deserted Belle before Jan got involved. He turned his back on Belle when she lied about her mom's alibi. He decided to walk away from their relationship instead of working things out. That is when Belle turned to Philip.

Hope: But Shawn and Belle never, ever stopped loving each other. That's the point.

Bo: Well, Hope, a lot of people love each other and the circumstances make it impossible for them to be together. Roman and Marlena, for instance. Ma and Victor.

Hope: You and Billie.

Mimi: How soon are you leaving?

Belle: [Sniffles] As soon as I can. My dad is getting the plane refueled and, um, making all the arrangements. I have to get to Germany and be there for Philip. All I can do is think about him lying there so horribly wounded and that it's all my fault.

Mimi: No, it isn't! Belle...Philip volunteered for a dangerous mission and got captured by Tony. If he hadn't volunteered, then he never would have been vulnerable.

Belle: He volunteered so that he could get home to me. And the minute he would have gotten home, I was gonna break his heart and tell him I didn't love him, that I wanted a divorce so I can be with Shawn. [Sniffles] I can't do that now. I can’t.

Mimi: [Exhales sharply] So what does that mean for you and Shawn?

Belle: I don't know. I just don't know.

Shawn D.: Uncle Roman, I am not just thinking of myself here, okay? Philip wrote me a letter specifically asking me to take care of Belle when she found out about his injury.

Roman: Shawn, Philip asked you to look after her as a friend. And from what I understand, he didn't have a clue as to what was really going on.

Shawn D.: No, he didn’t.

Roman: Okay. And it seems to me that Belle feels bad enough as it is, so I think it's probably a damn good idea if you just back off for the time being.

Shawn D.: I can't back off and just let her go through this alone. She feels guilty. She blames herself for what happened to Philip over there.

Roman: What happened to Philip isn't anybody's fault.

Shawn D.: I know that. I tried explaining that to her. She just won't hear it.

Roman: You know what? I am guessing that you're starting to worry now that she might decide to stay with Philip.

Shawn D.: As much as I don't want to talk about something like that right now, yeah, I think that is a possibility, and obviously, you think so, too.

Roman: Right now, I think all Belle really knows is she has to be there for Philip.

Shawn D.: So you're saying that...that I should give up on Belle -- the same way you gave up on Marlena. Well, I am sorry, but I cannot do that because I know I will regret that for the rest of my life. The same way I think you regret giving up on Marlena.

Roman: Shawn...listen to me very closely -- it is not a question of what I wanted then, now, or any time. Doc is with John. I am with Kate. Everybody has to respect that, just like you're gonna have to respect Belle's decision if she decides to stay with Philip. Now... you are my nephew, and I love you very, very much, and I know this is tough, but I'm here for you if you need me, okay? But right now, my wife needs me. So you hang in there.

Shawn D.: [Sighs]

John: All right, I talked to my contact in the Marines. They can get Belle on a military transport for Germany tonight. But the problem is, there's only three seats.

Roman: Well, of course Kate has to go because she's Philip’s mother.

Kate: Marlena, you should go. You should go, too, to be with Belle.

Marlena: No. No. I think John should go to be with Belle.

Lucas: Any luck finding Mimi?

Rex: No. She must have left. I'm gonna go find her. I got to fill her in about Philip and also find out what happened, why she just ran out on me like that.

Shawn D.: What do you mean she just ran out on you?

Rex: I'll explain it later. I gotta go.

Shawn D.: I'll go with you. I'm not doing much here.

Lucas: I'd help, but I gotta find Sami. I wonder if she's heard the news about Philip.

Sami: Tony, why are you doing this? I only did what you told me to.

Tony: Well, of course, Sami. It's not my fault. The devil made me do it. Isn't that right?

Sami: Yes, as a matter of fact, because you are the devil. You used me.

Tony: Yes, and you enjoyed every minute of it. Oh, we were such a great team. Of course you had to go off and find your conscience. Now you're gonna have to pay.

Sami: What are you planning, Tony? Just tell me what you're going to do to me.

Tony: All you need to know is that one day when you least expect it, the world as you've known it will come to a crashing end.

Sami: No, please just don't --

Lucas: Sami?

Sami: Lucas.

Tony: Oh, goody.

Lucas: Who you talking to? What are you doing back here?

Tony: Samantha...why don't you just tell him?

[Playing theme music]

Brady: Nicole, I never said there was a conspiracy to keep Chloe away from me.

Nicole: No, but you certainly implied it, and you flat-out accused me of lying. You said I had to know where Chloe was, and I've known for a long time.

Brady: Well, I'm sure you must have.

Nicole: Think about it, Brady. If that was true and I was lying, why on earth would Chloe have handed me the phone?

Brady: Well, maybe she was in shock, you know, to hear my voice.

Nicole: [Scoffs] Too shocked to talk to you? [Chuckles] I don't think so, Brady. And even if I was sitting next to her when you called, why wouldn't I tell you?

Brady: Because you're in love with me, Nicole, and you know that... [Sighs] You know that if Chloe were alive, that I would be with her.

Nicole: Nice. Well, that would mean she still loves you.

Brady: Of course.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. So when you called her, I just yanked the phone from her hand, and she just stood there like a deaf-mute while I told you she was dead. Yeah, come on, Brady. Get real! She would have been screaming, "Brady, it's Chloe. I'm being held captive by evil Nicole. She doesn't want us to be together."

Brady: Stop it!

Nicole: And that is another thing I want to talk about, Brady. If Chloe jumped out of those bushes right now, you would dump me, wouldn't you?

Brady: It sounds so awful when you say it like that.

Nicole: But it's the truth.

Brady: Nicole, you knew that Chloe was and will always be the love of my life, okay?

Nicole: Oh, so I was the whore it was all right for you to be with until the Madonna returned.

Brady: It wasn't like that.

Nicole: Oh, really?

Brady: Nicole, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry I hurt you. I never meant to hurt you.

Nicole: I'm sorry, too, Brady. Because you're throwing something wonderful away for nothing. Chloe is not alive.

Brady: I'm just having a difficult time believing that this was a DiMera plot, you know? I feel it in my heart, okay? Chloe is alive.

Nicole: Then where is she, Brady? If Chloe was alive, then why did she come and find me? Why isn't she here with you right this minute?

Chloe: [Thinking] Maybe I should be.

Bo: Why do you say things like -- Hope, you know I didn't want to stay with Billie as soon as I knew you were alive. Billie knew that, too. That's why she ended up leaving Salem.

Hope: You were the great love of her life.

Bo: Yeah, just like ma was the great love of Victor's life. And he had the grace and decency to let her stay with the man she was married to, even though it meant leaving the relationship that would give him true happiness.

Hope: So what you're saying is you think Shawn should do the same -- just step aside and let Belle stay with Philip, even though Belle is in love with Shawn.

Bo: I don't want our son to be unhappy any more than you do. But Belle made a commitment, and that's the way it is for them.

Hope: Don't you want to see our son happy? Don't you want to see him fight for the woman he loves? I do.

Bo: No matter who gets hurt?

Sami: Good night, Will. Sleep tight.

[Cell phone beeps]

Tony: [Chuckles] You know, I think I've got Samantha shaking in her boots.

Bart: Mmm. It sounds that way, boss, but be careful. Sami's like a rattlesnake. When she's cornered, she strikes.

Sami: I was just saying good night to Will, and I wanted some privacy, which is why I was back there, but I'm just glad that we're all home, you know, and that we're all safe.

Lucas: I wish that were true. We just got some pretty bad news about Philip.

Kate: Are you sure?

Marlena: Yes, I am. I think John should go. He knows how to cut through red tape. He can get Philip home a whole lot sooner. And, John, you understand the military. You can use your I.S.A. contacts to get things done. I will be there as soon as the plane is fixed.

Roman: And, uh, you know, look, I'd go too, but I think I need to get started on that search for ma and Victor. I'm not gonna give up till I find them and bring Tony DiMera back here for the punishment he deserves.

Marlena: All righty, then. It's settled. John, you'll go with Belle and Kate.

Kate: Well, I should... I should pack.

Roman: Well, I'll drive you.

Kate: Um, that's all right. I think I just need to be alone a little bit, like Belle. You don't mind, do you?

Roman: No. No, I don't mind at all. I understand. You just give Philip my love, okay? And you tell him how proud we all are of him.

Kate: I will.

Roman: Bye.

Rex: Shawn, thanks for helping me look for Mimi. I know you've got a lot on your mind, so...

Shawn D.: Yeah, well, I just wish that we could have found her.

Rex: Yeah, well, I'll just wait here for her. She has to show up eventually, right?

Shawn D.: Yeah, of course she will.

Rex: I don't get it, though. I don't see why she just took off on me like that and turned her cell phone off. Okay, bad idea, Shawn.

Shawn D.: I have to see her. Don't try and stop me.

Rex: As if I could. I'll see you later.

Belle: You shouldn't be here.

Shawn D.: But I am. I'm not letting you go.

Hope: Look, all I know is that Shawn and Belle are miserable. All right, answer this for me, fancy pants -- what happens when Philip finally realizes that Belle is not in love with him and is still in love with Shawn? Then what?

Bo: He'll be devastated, especially after the hell he's been through.

Hope: I know. I feel for Philip. I really do. And I hope to God that he's okay. But the fact remains, if it weren't for them being separated by Jan, Belle and Shawn would still be together.

Bo: We can't change what happened. Belle has made a commitment. And you're encouraging our son to break up that marriage.

Hope: No, that is not what I'm encouraging. I'm encouraging them to be happy. Belle made a mistake -- a terrible mistake. In the long run, I honestly do believe that Philip would be a lot happier, too. He'll find someone who loves him the way he deserves --

Bo: You're rationalizing.

Hope: No, I'm not.

Bo: Yes, you are. You're saying this, and at the same time, you're vilifying Billie. You say that she's trying to break up our marriage, right?

Hope: This is not the same thing.

Bo: [Stammering] Yes, it is. You just said that I'm the true love of her life, right? So under your rules, even though I'm married, I'm still fair game.

Hope: Absolutely not. And I'll explain why. Belle is not in love with her husband. She's in love with Shawn, as you are in love with your wife, madly -- and not Billie. That is safe to say, isn't it?

Nicole: You can't answer me, can you? You can't understand if Chloe is alive, why she hasn't come to you.

Brady: No, no, I can’t. But there's got to be a reason.

Nicole: You know what? Maybe I've got her locked up in a dungeon somewhere hidden away. Is that what you think? Well, that couldn't be it either, because otherwise, how would she have answered the phone? Well, I've got another scenario for you, Brady, okay? How's this -- Tony DiMera planted that phone call to Chloe, putting me in the middle to break the two of us up.

Brady: Really? And why the hell would he do that?

Nicole: Because he hates us both. He wants to make me look like a liar and you paranoid.

Brady: Would you stop it? That is absurd, Nicole.

Nicole: Is it, Brady? Because look at us -- that's what the DiMeras have done to this town. They've made everybody paranoid and suspicious and that everyone else has some nefarious agenda. That we're all capable of pretty much anything as long as we get what we want.

Brady: I really don't believe that.

Nicole: All right, Brady. [Sighs] Fine. If what you think is the truth, that I am lying, that Chloe is alive, then tell me this -- how did I get Chloe’s mother, Nancy, a woman who hates me, to tell you Chloe died in her arms? How did I get Nancy to come all the way back from Europe with an urn full of her daughter's ashes? Oh, I don't know. Maybe -- maybe the urn was empty, and that the memorial service at St. Luke's, well, that was all a sham, too, right? Brady, look, I know you want to believe that Chloe’s coming back to you, but she isn’t. And you're gonna drive both of us crazy if you don't let her go and move on. And if you persist in having this fantasy, then we're really not gonna have a future together. Let me just say one more thing. I truly love you, Brady. And I know I can make you happy, but if this isn't what you want, [Voice breaking] Then I hope you and Chloe’s ghost live happily ever after.

Brady: [Sighs]

Chloe: [Thinking] Oh, Brady. I can't bear to see you like this, but do I have the courage to walk up to you right now and tell you I'm alive?

Nicole: Either I just hit a home run or I struck out. Oh, I know leaving Brady out there with Chloe could be a big risk, but I don't have a choice.

[Cell phone rings] Hello?

Tony: Good evening, Nicole.

Nicole: Who's this?

Tony: Who do you think?

Nicole: Oh, my -- it can't be.

Tony: [Chuckles] But it can.

Nicole: But you -- you -- you're the most wanted man on the planet. You know, the whole free world's looking for you.

Tony: Yes, I know. I'm very flattered, but, really, I don't have time for chitchat, huh? Why I called was to simply tell you I know what you did.

Nicole: I-I don't really know what you're talking about.

Tony: That you deliberately and maliciously botched Chloe Lane's reconstructive surgery and any hope for her to have any kind of happiness.

Nicole: What? That's a lie. I didn't do anything to Chloe. She's dead. That is absurd.

Tony: Oh, cut the crap! I know you're guilty. But the question is, I wonder how Brady would feel, how he would react, if he found out that not only is Chloe alive and maimed for life and refuses to see him, all because of you.

Bo: There you go again. No, I do not love Billie.

Hope: I know. But you did at one time.

Bo: Yeah, but that ended the day you came back into my life. Our love was destined from the very beginning. Nothing's gonna change that.

Hope: Just like Shawn and Belle.

Bo: Oh! I don't want to argue about this. You know, let's let the three adults work this out, and that way, you and I don't have to take sides.

Hope: Shawn is our son. We should both want the best for him.

Bo: Well, problem is, you think the best for him is to be with Belle no matter what, and I think he should honor Belle and Philip’s vows to each other.

Hope: And you know what?

Bo: What?

Hope: Ultimately, it's Belle's choice.

Bo: Right. It is. So you and I can stay out of it. Important thing right now is that we're together, and we're always gonna be together.

Hope: Finally.

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: Something we agree on.

Bo: Right. I love you, Fancy Face. More than anything, more than anyone. Don't you ever doubt that.

Hope: I love you, too.

Bo: Good.

Rex: Mimi, would you please call me. This is the third message I've left for you, and I'm starting to get wo-- Mimi, what happened to you?

Mimi: I was at Belle’s. Shawn told me you were looking for me.

Rex: Yeah, I've been looking for you. What happened? Why'd you take off on me like that? And why did you say we can't get married? What the heck is going on with you?

John: I'm sorry my jet won't be ready, baby, but I know you wanted to leave tonight. A military transport will get us there.

Belle: Thanks for arranging it, and thank you for coming. Just do me a favor, all right?

John: Sure, what's that?

Belle: Sit between Kate and me.

John: You know, I don't think you're gonna have a problem with Kate. Just the mere fact that you want to be there for Philip, that means a lot to her.

Belle: I want to be with him more than anything. I just don't know how I'm gonna handle it.

John: Well, you'll just do what you have to do. You'll be strong for him.

Belle: I'll try. [Voice breaking] It's just gonna be really hard seeing him like that.

John: Well, try not to worry about it right now. Just get your things together, and I'll be over, and I'll see you soon.

Belle: Okay, I'll be ready.

John: I love you, Izzy.

Marlena: I'm gonna miss you both so much.

John: I'm gonna miss you, too. I'm gonna see you in a couple days. I'll call you as soon as I get there.

Marlena: Yeah, you promise?

John: Promise. Roman...let me know if you get any leads on Tony. Would you do that?

Roman: Absolutely, John. You bet I will. Do me a favor, okay? Take good care of Kate. I know this is gonna be hell for her.

John: Of course I will. And I know I can trust you to take care of my wife.

Roman: You can trust me to do exactly that.

Shawn D.: I had to see you one last time before you leave.

Belle: Um, my dad's gonna be here soon. I think you better go.

Shawn D.: I know you're hurting. I just want to help you. I don't know when I'm gonna see you again, so, please, just let me hold you. And then I'll go. I'll leave you alone, I promise.

Belle: [Sobbing]

Brady: Oh, Chloe. I'd give anything to have you come back to me. I know that's impossible. Everything Nicole said makes perfect sense. If you were alive, you'd be here with me right now. [Sighs] That's one heck of a miracle. And I know miracles like that just don't happen.

Chloe: [Thinking] Oh, Brady. Maybe it's time to show you they do.

Nicole: You can't prove I did anything to Chloe. You can't come forward without putting yourself at risk. I told you, everyone is looking for you.

Tony: Yes, I know. I've very popular. But my friend Stan can do both.

Nicole: Your friend Stan?

Tony: Yes. Stan works for me.

Nicole: Oh, damn it! That's how he knew about Chloe’s surgery. Where is the little bastard?

Tony: Well, if you look closely, I think he's at the same party you're at.

Nicole: What? No, he's not. I haven't seen him all night.

Tony: Well, that's because you don't recognize him. He's not in his disguise.

Nicole: Disguise? Oh, that's how he knew so much about me. Who is he?

Tony: [Chuckles] You know, you're a clever girl. I'm sure you're gonna be able to work that one out.

[Cell phone beeps]

[Clears throat]

Bart: Read 'em and weep, boss. Two Queens and a shaky King.

Tony: A most dangerous hand, especially when they find out what they have on each other.

Nicole: He's the wrong type. He's got brown eyes. He's too tall. [Thinking] Sami's the only one in this room capable of being that mean and rotten. But Stan was a man.

Sami: I don't believe it. Philip lost his leg? Lucas, that's horrible.

Lucas: Yeah, I know. My brother's life is gonna be changed forever. And I blame that bastard Stan. I swear, if I ever see that guy again, I'm gonna kill him.

Nicole: Oh, my God. Not Sami. It can't be.
