Philip: Good. Well, I'm glad you are totally clear. Because, you know, I don't want to overstep and I don't want to hurt you.

Belle: You would never hurt me, Philip.

Philip: God, you're so beautiful.

Jan: Ready to play?

Shawn: Actually... no.

Jan: Why not?

Shawn: While you were in the bathroom, changing, I was just doing some thinking. And I really tried, okay? I really did. And I remember us being in bed together... but I don't remember us actually making love. So maybe belle was right. Maybe everything you have been telling me is a lie.

Patrick: Where's Tony?

Bart: Tony. The boss is taking care of last-minute details. So, uh, so how long before, you know, the -- the island blows up?

Patrick: Not long.

Bart: Uh-huh. Listen, Pat, uh, we're gonna have enough time to -- to -- ha ha ha ha -- get away, right?

Patrick: I don't know. I sure as hell hope so.

Bart: Bad answer.

Nicole: I can't believe Victor's alive.

Brady: Neither can I. That's amazing.

Nicole: Yeah.

John: You don't seem too happy.

Nicole: Look, I just found out my husband wasn't murdered. I'm not upset. I'm thrilled.

John: I bet you are. It's a miracle. You beat a murder rap. Let me tell you something. Attempted murder's just about as bad. I bet you're wondering right about now how long it's gonna take before Vic starts telling everybody you tried to kill him.

Nicole: You don't know what you're talking about.

Nicole: I was with Brady the entire time. He can tell you that we were together when we found Victor. We pulled him out of the tub, and I was the one who gave him mouth-to-mouth. I was the one who got him breathing again.

John: Well, apparently, you did a better job than you realize.

Brady: I was with my grandfather when he took his last breath. What I don't understand is how the hell is he here? He was not a victim of the Salem serial killer.

Hope: We never thought he was. But then again, Marlena didn't kill anyone, did she?

Brady: So the DiMeras set his death up, just like everybody else's? Because they had that funeral director Milbauer on their payroll, so no one would suspect anything. Listen, bottom line -- my grandfather's here, he's okay, and Nicole is innocent.

John: You're still lining up excuses for her, son.

Brady: I'm just giving her the benefit of the doubt, dad.

Hope: All right, how about this? He must've seen who electrocuted him.

Brady: Yes, and then we'll know the truth once and for all.

Hope: Listen, we can't waste any more time. We need to find Bo and Billie right away, and get everyone the hell out of here.

John: But first, we need to find and destroy this power source that's keeping these onshore tides from letting us escape by boat.

Hope: Okay, fine. You, Brady, and Nicole do that. I need to find Bo.

Bo: Damn, it's getting hot in here.

Billie: My I.S.A. sources told me this place is built on an active volcano.

Bo: How the hell would DiMera do that?

Billie: I don't know. But if he wanted to destroy the island, this seems like a good way to do it.

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: We gotta find the others and get outta here before this place erupts.

Bo: Okay, let's do it.

Billie: All right. Aah!

Bo: Billie! Billie!

Bart: Look, Pat-Meister, if you're trying to scare me, you're doing a hell of a good job.

Patrick: I'm doing the job Tony paid me to do.

Bart: Okay, okay, I'm cool with that. Ours is not to reason why...

Patrick: Ours is but to do and die.

Bart: Do or die. All right? Let's keep our options open.

John: From what you and Billie overheard, how much time do you think we have before Tony destroys this island?

Hope: Tony didn't say exactly, but I got the impression it was only a matter of hours, maybe less.

John: Hours. All the more reason for Brady and I to find that generator and shut it down.

Hope: Okay, fine. As I said before, you take care of that. I'm going to go after Bo, Billie, and Roman. And Patrick, okay?

John: Forget about Patrick. He's a traitor.

Hope: I really thought he was on our side.

John: Well, he's very convincing. I found myself buying into his story once or twice.

Hope: Jennifer and the baby never would've survived if he hadn't been there to help in the assistance of her delivery. He even risked his life -- almost died -- trying to rescue Jack. It doesn't make any sense.

Nicole: And now he's helping the DiMeras kill us all. I'd call that a wash.

John: Listen, we're wasting time talking. Let's move out. Come on.

Hope: I'm going after Bo.

John: No, you're not.

Hope: John, we have two objectives here, okay? Shut down the generator, which hopefully stops the destruction of this island, and find Bo, Billie, and Roman. We may not have time to do both if we don't separate.

Brady: She's got a point.

John: All right, fine, I'm not going to argue anymore. We're wasting too much time. You go find Bo. Brady and I will shut down the power source.

Hope: All right, where should we meet?

John: Rendezvous at the Brady Pub, 2300 hours.

Hope: Good luck.

John: Hope, if you're not there, we're gonna be forced to leave without you. Good luck. Let's go, come on.

Brady: Stay close.

Nicole: I plan to.

Nicole: Sorry, guys. But I have to find Colin Murphy. He has to stay alive to clear me of his murder.

Bo: [Coughing] Billie... can you reach my hand?

Billie: I can’t. It's too far.

Bo: Damn it. Can you climb up?

Billie: No, it's too slick. I don't know how much longer I can hold on.

Bo: All right. I'm coming down to get you.

Billie: No! It's too dangerous.

Bo: I'm coming down.

Billie: Not yet. There's something I have to do first.

Jan: I am not the liar. Belle is. She lied to you about her mother's alibi. Oh, and she lied to you about sleeping with Philip.

Shawn: I am not so sure.

Jan: You said you saw it with your own eyes. Oh, but I know exactly why you're blaming it on me now. Because I'm the bad girl. I mean, isn't that what she made you think?

Shawn: All right, Jan, would you just listen to me? Just for a second. Belle did lie to me about her mother, but she swore up and down that she did not make love to Philip, and why would she say that if it wasn't true? Her and I waited so long to be together. It just doesn't make sense that she would just jump into the sack with Philip, especially if she says she doesn't really care about him. And if she is in love with him, why the hell would she care what I think? I just wish there was more from the summer that I could remember -- how you and I got together and how her and I grew so far apart. Something does not make sense here. I am just gonna find out what it is.

Jan: I know exactly why she told you that she hadn't been with Philip. Because she's trying to get you to run back to her, to get back at me. Because she hates me that much. And if you fall for it, you're an idiot.

Shawn: Don't call me that.

Jan: Look, I'm sorry, but you just can't go back to Belle.

Shawn: I didn't say I'm going to go back to her. I said I'm going to find out what is going on.

Jan: You can't!

Shawn: Just because we are together doesn't mean at all that you can tell me what I can do.

Jan: Look, I'm sorry, okay? I'm not trying to tell you what to do. I'm just -- I'm trying to protect you. Because I don't want you to be hurt again. That's what this is about, Shawn. All Belle wants to do is hurt you.

Philip: If you want me to stop, you're gonna have to tell me, okay?

Belle: Oh, Philip... if I really do want this, it means that I finally accepted that Shawn and I are through. But... I'm afraid of what I'm feeling.

Philip: Why?

Belle: Because a part of me is just worried that I'm just turning to you and using you because Shawn hurt me so badly.

Philip: No.

Belle: I don't want to hurt you, Philip.

Philip: Belle...

Belle: What if I don't know how love is supposed to be?

Philip: Belle, what happened with Shawn is not your fault. It's not your fault, okay?

Belle: But I truly did love Shawn with all my heart. He was my whole world. It just seemed so right and perfect, and it wasn’t. Love's not supposed to be like that. I hope.

Philip: You've been through so much this year. You were counting on Shawn to be there for you, but he wasn’t. That's why you're having such a hard time with this. It has nothing to do with you.

Belle: All I could see in my future was the two of us spending the rest of our lives together.

Philip: I know. He'll always have a special place in your heart. He was your first true love. He just didn't turn out to be the person we all thought he was. How could he blame you for his parents' death? How could he make you doubt who you are? Belle, you are such a good person. You're the best. And you know exactly what love is. Shawn is the one who doesn't have a clue. I just want to help you heal. More than anything, I just want to love you like you deserve to be loved. And all you have to do is let me.

Patrick: I didn’t.

Bart: You didn’t. You're right. You are right, Pat-Meister. Listen, uh, when this happens, is the earth gonna open up, you know, like in all those dinosaur movies? I mean, not that there's any dinosaurs on this island, but I have seen some major lizards on the jungle surveillance cameras.

Patrick: Bart!

Bart: Yes, sir.

Patrick: If you don't shut up, I'm gonna staple your lips together. If I screw up these calculations, we're both gonna find out the answer to your question in about two seconds.

Bart: Okay, all right, I'm sorry. I just -- you know, I tend to ramble, you know, when I'm nervous. So shoot me. That's a figure of speech. Ha ha! I'm gonna pack. Comic books -- gotta remember the comic books. Do you like comic books? I got a silver age "spider-man." 9.0, CGC. Worth a fortune --

Patrick: Get the hell --

Bart: I'm going! All right?

Patrick: Oh, God, that wasn't supposed to happen yet.

[Rumbling]

Brady: What the hell was that -- an earthquake?

John: I don't know, but it can't be good.

Brady: Nicole. Nicole? Nicole! Nicole, can you hear me? Oh, boy. Dad, I'm sorry, I gotta go find her.

John: No. You can't risk it. We don't have any time. If she doesn't answer, she had to turn back. There hasn't been another outlet in the shaft here since we left with Hope.

Brady: That means she went her own way a long time ago. Damn her. Why would she do that?

John: I don't know, son. I don't know.

Brady: You know what? She said that she saw Colin Murphy. Personally, I think she's hallucinating. She hit her head really hard. Do you think she's stupid enough to go look for him on her own?

John: Yeah, I think she is. Listen, she saw Colin or thinks she did. You know, chances are, though, she's gonna run into Bo, Billie, and Hope.

Brady: That's a good point.

John: Damn. It's getting hot in here. Feels like this place is gonna blow any second. Forget about Nicole. We've gotta focus on taking out that generator, because if we don't, everybody on this island is gonna die. Once we shut down the power source, we'll come back and find Nicole, all right? All right, well, stay close. Let's move.

Nicole: Oh, my God. I can't get trapped in here if another earthquake hits. I have to find Colin so he can clear my name. Oh, God, I hate sweating.

Nicole: Who is that? What the hell is he doing?

[Bang]

Patrick: Who's there?

Bo: Damn. That's a hell of a jolt. I-I gotta get you out of there! Nothing's more important.

Billie: Yes, there is. I've got to get this CD-Rom up to you. That's what you saw me doing earlier in the control room. I was downloading Tony’s files.

[Gasps]

Bo: What kind of files?

Billie: I don't know. I was telling you the truth earlier. But I was afraid of getting caught, so I just downloaded whatever I could find. I've gotta get this to the I.S.A., And you have to help me. If I die --

Bo: You're not gonna die. I'll make sure of that.

Billie: I hope you're right. But if I do, I at least want to know that my last mission was completed.

Bo: Okay. Throw it up.

Bo: [Coughing] Don't try that again. Tell you what --

[Coughs] You and I can take to the I.S.A. When I get you outta there. No! Let's not argue about this.

Hope: Bo, don't! Don't do it!

Shawn: What the hell are you talking about? Belle could not possibly hurt me any more than she already has.

Jan: That's what you think. But she'll even use your own feelings against you. And me. She knows that a part of you is still attracted to her. And I know it, too. I mean, that's why you won't move in with me at my country house, huh? Right? I mean, that's why you won't make love to me right now. She's trying to convince you that she's still the same, unspoiled virgin she was when you first fell in love with her. She's counting on you buying into it, breaking up with me, and running back to her. She'll do everything she can to ruin our happiness.

Shawn: No, but she didn't know that you and I were together when she was with Philip or that we even saw them.

Jan: She's playing on the fact that you're injured, that you had brain surgery, that you can't remember all the details of everything you saw and did. But you did see her with Philip, over and over again. You saw them making love at the green mountain --

Shawn: It looked -- it looked like they were making love, but I couldn't actually tell, and Belle said that they didn’t.

Jan: Oh, so you're gonna believe her? Well, if you believe her and run back to her, then you really are an idiot.

Shawn: I told you, do not call me that.

Jan: You're not an idiot. You are a very smart guy, and that's why I know that you're not gonna fall for all her crap. She is a lying, cheating slut who cannot stand that you saw her for what she really is. And what she really can't stand is that you're with me. Everything that that girl has said and done since you've come back is just to get her revenge for you dumping her.

Belle: I thought I was ready before. I don't want to disappoint you again.

Philip: This is not about me. This is about us. And it's up to you, Belle. You have to decide what your future's going to be. No matter what, I'll be your friend, I promise.

Belle: I just feel like I'm asking so much, you know? I waited so long to be with Shawn. Part of me is so nervous -- just about the first time, not because it's you.

Philip: I understand. And I know you'll understand when I say this -- Belle, I love you and I want you, but I can't hold you anymore in my arms just to comfort you. It's too hard. And I'm not going to make a bunch of empty promises to you, either, because I truly believe that we have a future together. But if you're just gonna sit around pining after Shawn, hoping for some kind of miracle, Belle, I can't do this anymore.

Belle: This isn't about Shawn and me anymore. Philip, you're right. It's over. This is about us now. You have been there for me. You have been so much more understanding than I deserve, and it's just not fair to make you wait anymore, and I won’t.

Philip: I don't want you to feel like I'm pressuring you into making a decision, either. I'm not.

Belle: You aren’t. I want this. I am sure. I am finally, totally sure. I never should've waited this long. I never should've made it such a big deal.

Philip: It is a big deal.

Belle: I just wanted to be sure that the man I made love to would be the man I would love forever.

Belle: Philip, you have been in my life for as long as I can remember. I couldn't imagine it any other way. This is right.

Philip: Thank you.

Belle: Make love to me, Philip. I really mean it this time. Make love to me.

Patrick: I know who you are. I recognize you from the papers. You are the infamous Nicole Kiriakis. Yet another new guest from Salem. Believe me, I'd rather not be here.

Patrick: Oh, I don't blame you.

Nicole: What are you doing?

Patrick: What? It's none of your damn business.

Nicole: Look, I just -- I just need to find a certain person who's a prisoner here, and then I'll leave.

Patrick: What person?

Nicole: Colin Murphy.

Patrick: Why is that?

Nicole: It doesn't really matter, does it? Do you know where he is?

Patrick: If you expect me to tell you anything, then you'll tell me why you want to find this Colin.

Nicole: It's none of your damn business.

Patrick: Okay. Well, then I guess you're out of luck. Now, get out of here. I've got work to do for Tony.

Nicole: What, you work for tony DiMera?

Patrick: That's right.

Nicole: Well, hell, you know, I'll work for tony, too, if you'll just help me get to Colin and then the hell outta here.

Patrick: Let's try this again. Why are you so desperate to find this Colin Murphy?

Nicole: If I tell you, will you help me?

Patrick: Well, that depends. What's in it for me?

Nicole: If you help me, I promise I'll make it worth your while.

Brady: Whoa. All right, let's shut that thing off.

John: Not so fast. It can't be this easy, son.

Hope: Bo, don't go after Billie.

Bo: Hope, I gotta try. I can't just leave her down there to die. Do you really hate her that much?

Hope: No. But I do love you. You're my husband, the father of our children. Bo, please, I don't wanna lose you. I hate to say it, but there's no way to

save Billie, Bo.

Billie: Hope's right, Bo. You'll die if you try and save me. Even if you reach me, there's no way for you to get back up.

Bo: Billie, I have to try.

Hope: You swore that you would never risk your life saving Billie again. You swore that to me, Bo.

Bo: Hope, I've got no choice.

Billie: You do have a choice. And I'm gonna make it easy for you.

Hope: No.

Philip: Are you really sure?

Philip: Belle? There's no going back.

Belle: I-I waited so long to make love to Shawn, to be true to the purity vows that we made to each other. But Shawn broke them when he slept with Jan.

Philip: I know how important those vows were to you.

Belle: They were. But Shawn made them mean nothing. What matters now is you, and knowing that you love me. I wanna return that love.

Philip: Belle, I know this is your first time, so I want everything to be perfect -- romantic and special just like you always dreamed it would be.

Belle: You've done this before.

[Music plays]

Philip: I've been with other women before... but never somebody like you.

Shawn: You're wrong, Jan. Belle does not care about revenge. She's actually much more forgiving than she should be.

Jan: No, no, that's just the way that she wanted you to think of her. She's a selfish, spoiled, rich bitch who's always used to getting her own way. You were the first thing that she's actually wanted and couldn't get. So, she's gonna make sure that you pay and that I pay for stealing you away. You know, I am really worried that she's gonna hurt me.

Shawn: What?

Jan: But I'm mostly worried about you. Look, she had to send Philip to her rescue tonight, right? Which meant him attacking you. You just got out of major surgery. You have to be careful. I mean, Lexie said --

Shawn: Listen, I don't want you worrying about Philip. I can take him any day. In fact, I look forward to the chance because he is as much to blame for this as Belle is.

Jan: So, you believe me about Belle.

Shawn: That she's hurting and angry, yeah. But that she's making love to Philip, I'm not so sure. The only way I can be is if I confront her, and get her to tell me the truth.

Jan: No, you can’t.

Shawn: Like hell I can't. That is the only way I'm gonna be able to find out what is going on between Belle and Philip -- if I talk to her. So, look, I'm gonna go over to her loft. I'll sneak into her bedroom. I'll use the fire escape, and I'll wait to talk her there. Okay?

Shawn: Philip and Belle are in there, all right. Looks like you were right about them, Jan.

Jan: I was? I mean, of course I was.

Philip: Belle. I thi--

Belle: Make love to me, Philip.

Philip: I just want you to know you'll be safe. Okay?

Belle: Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Shawn: Come on. Let's go. I've seen enough.

Jan: What?

Shawn: I'm ready.

Jan: Oh. [Giggling] Not just yet. Hold on. Now you're ready.

Jan: [Thinking] After tonight, you will be mine forever. Thank you, Belle. Shawn... oh!

[Giggles] Shawn. Oh, yes! Yes!

Brady: Whoa.

John: Whoa.

Brady: Dad, time is definitely running out.

John: I know. We've gotta shut this two-ton gorilla down and get everybody off this island before it blows.

Brady: Wait a second. If we shut down the generator, doesn't that mean we're out of danger?

John: Well, like I said, it's not that easy. Look at the floor here -- metal plates, pressure sensitive alarms. I'm sure there's booby traps on the triggering mechanism on the generator here -- lot of different ways to keep us from tampering with it. Not to mention...

Brady: Not good.

John: We got our work cut out for us, kid. And the clock is ticking.

Nicole: Ooh.

Patrick: Whoa.

Nicole: I guess the island Gods are trying to tell us something.

Patrick: Like what?

Nicole: Help me find Colin, and I'll give you anything you want.

Patrick: I wish I could take you up on that, but I don't have the time. So, for the last time, why is finding Colin so important?

Nicole: Fine, I'm only telling you this because I have to. I'm suspected of killing Colin. But it isn't true. Abe Carver, and Roman, Bo -- they were ready to take the law into their own hands and give me the death penalty even though I'm innocent. I didn't murder anyone. Look, I know Colin is here, just like Victor is, and I'm accused of killing him, too. So, I'm vindicated on both counts. I saw Colin. And if I can find him again, obviously, I can prove that I'm not a murderer. Now, will you help me find him and then get me the hell out of here?

Patrick: I can't. I have a job to do.

Nicole: But -- what job? What exactly are you doing for Tony?

Patrick: I am programming the computer to force the volcano to erupt and destroy the island. And there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Bo: You're not making any choices right now, Billie. I'm coming down there after you. You just hang on.

Hope: I won't let you do it, Bo. Don't do it.

Billie: I won't let you do it either, Bo. My situation is hopeless. Coming down here to save me would be suicide.

Bo: So what -- what are you gonna do?

Billie: I'm gonna die, Bo. I won't let you die with me.

[Crying]

Bo: Billie?

Billie: Bo! Bo, we don't have much time. Get outta here! Save yourselves and the others! Live full long lives. Raise your kids to be strong decent boys, just like you are, Bo. And love each other like you always have and always will. Goodbye.

Bo: Billie! No!
