Marlena: You've probably delivered more babies than I have.

Abe: We'll bring Jennifer back. Let's go.

Hope: We'll be back, Roman. Marlena, hold onto this.

Kate: I was right about the storm. It looks like it's going to be a really bad one.

John: Yeah. You shouldn't be up here. This roof probably isn't the best place. Come on. Come on. Come on down with me.

Kate: You didn't think I was going to jump, did you? I'm much too big a coward to even think about taking that way out.

John: You're not a coward. You're one of the bravest, strongest women I've ever known.

John: Doc made me that way, but now I find myself questioning who I am and what I might become.

Rex: Science lingo. Sorry. When I woke up, I checked my e-mails, because I knew the results would be coming out around now.

Bonnie: Well, what happened? What kind of contest? What'd you do? What'd you win? Hello!

Rex: Well, as Mimi knows, I'm always reading science journals, and this cooler/thermos manufacturer came up with this contest to see if anyone could improve the insulation of their products. Well, it was a no-brainer to come up with a thin, environmentally friendly, recyclable polymer that -- well, anyway, I won! And the rules of the contest were that the manufacturer would get the right to the product, but there was a nice cash prize for winning.

Bonnie: How much?

Mimi: Mom...

Bonnie: It's a logical question, Meems.

Rex: Enough to pay rent and expenses for a while...and a little left over to take the woman I love on a romantic getaway. What do you say, Mimi? You, me...Hawaii next winter?

Patrick: [Thinking] Come on, hope, I can't deliver this baby. You have to get here with help -- fast.

Hope: Yeah, right here -- these branches. I bent them when I came through before. They're bent in that direction, which means I must've come from that direction.

Abe: You're sure?

Hope: Yeah. We should reach the ravine in -- I don't know -- about an hour. Let's go.

Kate: You can't blame yourself for what happened. Even Roman moved beyond it. John...everyone knows that you and Marlena were the great loves of each other's lives. And Roman was the great love of mine. And what we can't come to grips with is that...we've lost the center of our being.
