Sami: Ah.
Lucas: Hey, baby.
Sami: Whoa!
Nicole: Victor's trying to railroad me. I have to do whatever I can to save myself. And as soon as I take care of old man Kiriakis... I'm going to make you so happy, Brady. And there's the little wench who's going to help me get what I want.
Brady: Hey, Granddad, is now a good time to talk?
Victor: Well, I'm on a deadline for the Liberty merger, but, uh, I've always got time for you, Brady. What's up?
Brady: I've been thinking about what you said last night about Nicole.
Victor: I thought you were going to stop thinking so much about my so-called wife.
Brady: Well, you said that you think she's the Salem serial killer. And if that's the case, then... I think you need to go to the police, turn her in.
Abe's voice: It's time to wake up, Celeste.
Celeste: Abraham. It can't be you, unless... am I dead?
Abe: Not yet. But unless you reveal the name of the killer, you will be... and soon.
Celeste: [Gasps] Oh.
Lexie: Oh, Abe, I miss you so much.
[Knock on door]
Lexie: Come in.
John: You got a minute?
Lexie: Yeah, yeah. Uh... I was just, uh, going through my brother's medical records before I turn them over to the police.
John: Very generous of you.
Lexie: So what brings you by?
John: I'm worried about doc. The deaths of all these people that she was so close to is -- it's really getting to her.
Lexie: It's getting to all of us, John.
John: Yeah, but doc's so strong, you know? But lately, she's not dealing very well with this. I think she's feeling guilty.
Marlena: Ooh, I'm sorry, Abe.
Lucas: Good morning, gorgeous.
Sami: What the hell are you doing, Lucas?
Lucas: What do you think I'm doing? I slept here last night. Duh. You and I checked on our son together.
Sami: Yeah, well, you have your own place down the hall. Why aren't you in there?
Lucas: You know, you sure go from hot to cold in a hurry.
Sami: Well, I was thinking about my coffee.
Lucas: Yeah, well... I take mine black.
Sami: Keep dreaming.
[Water running]
Sami: I want you.
Lucas: I know you do, baby.
Sami: Ah, yes.
Lucas: Wait, wait, wait.
Sami: Huh?
Lucas: What if will wakes up?
Sami: We'll tell him it was an earthquake.
Lucas: Sami. Sami. Sami!
Sami: Aah! What?
Lucas: Look, when you're through making a mess in the kitchen, tell will I'll be back later to take him to school, all right?
Sami: Lucas, don't go.
Celeste: Abraham... why are you frightening me like this?
Abe: The killer's identity is buried deep inside you, Celeste. You're the only one who can uncover it.
Celeste: And if I don't?
Abe: You can play it safe, but then others will die.
Celeste: Abraham, if -- if I bring the killer's name out of my unconscious and name her, I'll be the next target.
Abe: That's the chance you'll have to take.
Celeste: Oh, Abraham, God... please... tell me what to do, please. I can't make such a profound choice.
Abe: I'm sorry, Celeste. You're the only person who can.
Lexie: What does Marlena have to feel guilty about?
John: Well, it's kind of complicated, Lexie. I mean, you know, we all feel frustrated we haven't been able to find this killer and stop the murders, but... you know, with a psychiatrist, there's this extra responsibility.
Lexie: John, Marlena seems very much in control.
John: Aah, it's an act -- you know, cool on the outside, but inside, she's -- she's blaming herself.
Lexie: Come on, sit down.
John: [Sighs]
Lexie: Have you and Marlena gotten back together?
John: She doesn't want me living at the penthouse anymore.
Lexie: Oh, John. That's awful. It must be so hard.
John: Yeah, I just wish your mom hadn't said anything about the so-called premonition from Caroline Brady. I mean, I've never hurt doc, and now it's killing me to know that she's afraid of me, all because of this warning from the grave.
Lexie: I know. It's hard to accept. It's devastating for me to accept that Abe is really gone... that I'll never see him again, never hear his voice. I-I -- oh.
John: Hey, I'm -- I'm sorry. Uh, accept my apology for being so damn insensitive, please.
Lexie: No. John, don't -- don't pity me, okay? That's not what I'm looking for.
John: You know, the fact is you're my hero in all this. I mean, not only have you lost your husband and your brother, but as a doctor, you have been on the front line dealing with all of these deaths firsthand.
Lexie: Yeah, it's been the greatest challenge of my life, and I don't always feel up to it, you know? I mean, doctors pride themselves on saving lives, but... so far, I'm batting .000.
John: You haven't lost anyone. The killer is responsible for all of these people's lives. I'm going to tell you something -- when we find her, I am personally going to see that she suffers more pain than she has inflicted on any of her victims.
Marlena: Jennifer, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt jack. I-I didn't have any choice.
Lucas: You want me to stay. Come on, Sami. Make up your mind.
Sami: Well, you know I'm not a morning person.
Lucas: Yeah, you're more fun at night... especially last night.
Sami: Okay, okay, will had a nightmare, and I freaked out. Don't read anything mushy into it. Thank you for staying, Lucas. How about some coffee? Um, I'll even make breakfast -- will's favorite. He likes, um, homemade waffles.
Lucas: Yeah, that'd be great. Sounds really good. I'll get the paper.
Sami: Okay.
Lucas: So, what happened to that coffee cup?
Sami: Oh. Right here. Ooh. Ha ha. Here you go.
Lucas: Thank you.
Sami: It's funny, huh? Us being domestic.
Lucas: Yeah -- real Ozzie and Harriet.
[Birds chirping]
Sami: Hello, Mr. Blue jay. Aren't you a pretty bird? Breakfast is almost ready, dear.
Will: Good morning, mother. Good morning, father.
Sami: Good morning, William.
Lucas: Sport.
Will: We're finishing our volcano in science class today.
Lucas: That's my boy.
Will: I can't wait to add the baking soda and see the lava overflow.
Lucas: Well, that sounds like a mighty exciting project. Ahem.
Sami: Look at my handsome men. I'm such a lucky woman.
Jay: Get a grip, girl. You and Lucas ain't no Ozzie and Harriet. More like Ozzy and Sharon.
[Squawks]
Lucas: Aah! Wha-- what's the matter? You don't like your bread? Hey, Sami! That boy doesn't like his bread! The food's on the couch! It's a freakin' mess everywhere! I don't know what to do.
Lucas: Ahh. Whoa! Oh, no! It's out of my [Bleep]... Oh, hell, a bloody mess. Oh, oh.
Sami: Damn it, I knew it was too good to be true. You are so outta here.
Jay: [Chirp]
Lucas: Hey, hey, hey. How about the waffles?
Sami: No, the waffles are history, and so is your coffee. You can make your own damn breakfast. I'm no little Sami homemaker.
Lucas: Fine, fine. You know what? I'll make my own breakfast. I'm a better cook than you, anyway.
Sami: You know what? Pouring gin in cereal isn't cooking.
Lucas: Oh, well, what, what, what, you going to burn the waffles like you did those cookies last time? "Lucas, they're burning, they're burning."
Sami: Oh, if you're going to be so mean, why the hell did you spend the night in the first place?
Lucas: Damned if I know.
Will: Dad, you slept over?
Victor: I'm weighing my options, Brady. I don't want to go to the police about Nicole until I have irrefutable proof.
Brady: What if she kills again while you're waiting for your "irrefutable proof"?
Victor: Well, I'm counting on the fact that she'll try.
Brady: What?
Victor: Look, I know it's playing with fire, but we have to accept a certain amount of danger if we're going to catch Nicole red-handed.
Jan: But I don't want to do this.
Nicole: I don't give a rat's ass what you want.
Jan: Hey, you know what? I, too, can get Shawn on my own, and I will.
Nicole: Get back here, you little bitch.
John: I got to run to the penthouse and see how doc's doing. Hope she doesn't slam the door in my face.
Lexie: John. Maybe things will change, huh?
John: One can only hope.
Lexie: Yeah. Ooh, better check on my mom. Excuse me.
John: Where is Celeste?
Lexie: Oh, she's staying at the Salem inn. She's been having more visions of the dead spirits who tell her that she knows who the killer is.
John: That's got to terrify her.
Lexie: Yeah. Uh, John? What if the killer finds out that my mother holds the key to her identity? What?
John: I think you know the answer to that.
Lexie: My mother could be the killer's next victim.
Celeste: [Moans] There's a huge difference between knowing what one should do and actually doing it.
Abe: You're braver than most people, Celeste.
Celeste: Abraham... what if I refuse? What will happen?
Abe: See for yourself.
Celeste: Must I?
Abe: You know you must.
[Eerie screaming]
Celeste: Oh, no! God! Oh, no! [Hyperventilating]
Lexie: Oh, my God. Abe.
Maggie: You're sick, you know that? But I can help you... if you let me. If you let me live. Please...for Mickey. He needs me. You don't want to do this. It's not who you really are. Aah!
Marlena: Maggie! No, no! Not Maggie. Aah!
Marlena: Caroline! No, no! Aah! [Moaning] I want to tell you something.
John: All right, what is it?
Marlena: Actually, John, it's really more of a...confession.
John: Doc? Doc, it's John. You okay, honey?
Marlena: I'm not okay. I told you. I... I have a confession to make. I didn't mean it to happen. I didn't mean to have those people die.
Brady: Granddad, am I hearing you right? You're willing to let another person be killed so you can catch Nicole red-handed?
Victor: I never said I'd let Nicole claim another victim. I've got Nico and a team of experts keeping an eye on her every move. Believe me, if lethal Lolita puts anyone's life in jeopardy, they'll put a stop to it. Trust me, Brady, Tony DiMera was her last victim. There won't be another one.
[Cellular phone rings]
Victor: Yes, Nico. What do you got for me? What do you mean she's missing? How can one blond tramp give your boys the slip? Well, find her, damn it. No excuses.
Brady: Well, so much for Nico and his team of experts.
Victor: Nicole is a lethal predator. My guess is, she's plotting her next murder.
Jan: Quit it, bitch!
Nicole: What, you think this is pain? This is nothing compared to how your poor little heart is going to break when you lose Shawn Brady for good.
Jan: You're not a nice person.
Nicole: Nice gets you nothing in this world. I thought you knew that.
Jan: Okay, fine. You know what? I'll do it, just as long as I don't go to jail.
Nicole: You want to avoid going to the pokey? All you have to do is follow my instructions to the letter. Do what you're told, or I will make sure that you never get in Shawn Brady’s pants. I will keep him away from you forever, and you know I can.
Jan: Shawn belongs to me. He's mine, and he's going to be mine forever!
Nicole: Get off of me! Oh, my g—
Lexie: Mom? Why is the glass in this frame cracked? Why are you upset?
Celeste: I'm sorry, darling. Oh...
Lexie: Okay, okay. Tell me what happened, hmm? Come on, sit down. Sit down. I'm here. It's all right. Just tell me exactly what happened. Did you have another premonition?
Celeste: Abraham came to me.
Lexie: Abe? He visited you in your dream?
Celeste: Yes, darling. Then...
Lexie: What?
Celeste: There was a coffin. Abraham kept saying I had to find a way to reveal the killer. I asked him what would happen if I didn’t.
Lexie: And then what, hmm?
Celeste: I... I found myself next to the coffin. I opened it. Oh, Alexandra... it was truly the most horrifying thing that I have ever experienced. Oh, darling. So much death. So much death. The screams of people in agony. Oh, my God, it was terrifying.
Lexie: Okay. It sounds awful, I know.
Celeste: It made me realize, darling, that I have to do whatever I can to reveal the killer. Otherwise, she will continue to terrorize the people of Salem forever. You do believe me, don't you, darling?
Lexie: Yeah. Yeah, I believe that you had a dream that felt very real.
Celeste: Too real.
Lexie: Oh... I'd give anything if Abe would appear to me again. Why doesn't he, Mom?
Celeste: He's here, darling. He's right there.
Will: I just knew you guys would get together. I knew it!
Sami: Um, will --
Will: Hang on, Mom.
Lucas: Wait, wait a minute, buddy. Who are you calling?
Will: Mr. Mertz.
Sami: The landlord? Why?
Will: Well, Dad's going to be subletting his apartment, right? I mean, why pay two rents if we're all living in one place? Hello, is Mr. Mertz there?
Lucas: Whoa, whoa, hang on, buddy, hang on. Um, I'm not subletting, okay? We're all staying where we are.
Will: But you spent the night. I heard you.
Lucas: Yeah, yeah, I did, but I was on the couch, buddy.
Will: It's a start.
Sami: Waffles. Um, your dad is making -- Lucas, get to work. He's making waffles for you. Your favorite breakfast, right? That's a normal family thing, right -- breakfast with Mom and Dad?
Will: Don't try so hard, Mom. Dad, that's cool.
Lucas: Yeah?
Will: Thanks.
Lucas: Okay.
Sami: Sweetie, wash your hands before you eat breakfast. I'm going to put your lunch in your backpack, will. Oh, man, your school -- I am so sick of recycling all the notices they leave you. Will, what is this?
Will: Oh...busted.
Lucas: Busted? What do you got? Ahem. Come on, will, when were you planning on telling us about this camping trip, man?
Will: I wasn’t.
Nicole: Get off! Monster!
Jan: Get off me, you bitch!
Nicole: You know, you're lucky I don't kill you! So what's it going to be, huh? Are you going to keep our deal, or what?
Jan: Okay! You know what? Fine, I'll do it! Get off!
Nicole: Get up! Shake on it. Yeah, that's better. Unbelievable. To both of us, huh? Getting exactly what we deserve.
John: A confession, doc? What kind of confession?
John: Doc?
John: Oh, my God, you're asleep. Doc? Honey, come on. Come on, honey, wake up. Doc, it's John. Hey. Hey.
Marlena: Ooh!
John: Hey, it's okay. It's okay, it's okay.
Marlena: What are you doing here?
John: I just stopped by to see if you're okay. Hey, you've been crying, baby. What's going on? You have a bad dream?
Marlena: When you came in, was I asleep?
John: Yeah. I didn't realize that at first, but that's because you were talking.
Marlena: What did I say?
John: You said you had a confession to make. Something about not wanting those people to die. Know what you were talking about?
[Gunshot]
Maggie: Aah!
Marlena: I don't know what I was thinking.
John: Probably having a nightmare about the murders. Oh, please, doc, don't blame yourself. The horror that's been visited here on Salem by this stalker is not your fault.
Marlena: That's not true. I'm responsible for all those killings.
Brady: Granddad, I checked everywhere. Nicole is not at the pool house. She's not anywhere on the grounds.
Victor: Well, she's not in the house, either.
Brady: What? Shouldn't you be, like, a little bit more worried?
Victor: Well, I'm alive, aren't I?
Brady: What do you think? you're next on Nicole’s list?
Victor: Well, I've known for a while I'm living on borrowed time. All the other murders were just practice leading up to the main event -- murdering me. I am lethal Lolita's next target.
Nicole: But you're going to stop me, aren't you, Brady?
Lexie: Mom! Abe isn't here.
Celeste: He is, darling. He's right there behind you.
Abe: She can't see me, Celeste.
Celeste: [Thinking] Why not, Abraham? Why won't you appear to her? Alexandra would so love to see you again.
Abe: Even if it were possible, it would cause her such pain.
Celeste: [Thinking] No. You're wrong, Abraham. Alexandra needs you more than ever. If you showed yourself to her in some way, it might give her the strength she needs to go on without you.
Lexie: Mom, why do you have all these visions and premonitions?
Celeste: Darling, I have deeply buried knowledge of the killer's identity. If I don't find a way to bring this knowledge to the surface, then another person will be killed, Alexandra.
Lexie: You sound like you know who the next victim might be.
Celeste: I do know.
Lexie: Well, for heaven's sake, Mom, who is it?!
Celeste: Me.
Lexie: [Gasps] Mom... I felt him. Abe!
Celeste: Yes, darling, I know.
Lexie: Oh, Abe. Oh, my darling. It's the most extraordinary thing, Mom. I-I feel his energy. I -- oh... okay. Okay, we have to do what Abe wants. I'm going to call Marlena. Maybe she can help you uncover the killer's identity.
John: Doc, you don't have anything to do with the killings. Why did you say that?
Marlena: Because it's true. Maggie had the identity of the killer buried in her subconscious. She could have named the stalker. I could have helped her, but I didn’t. I -- I let her down. I let our family down. I let our friends down. Our friends -- so many of our friends have been killed the same way Maggie and Abe were.
John: Listen, doc, you did everything that you could do, so don't feel guilty. Ah, I hate what this murdering woman has done to our family. But I'll tell you one thing. When she is caught, when I get my hands on her, she won't be breathing for long, and that is a fact.
[Telephone rings]
John: John Black.
Lexie: John, it's Lexie. I'm glad you're there. How's Marlena?
John: Struggling, just like the rest of us.
Lexie: Maybe we can change that. Do you think she can make time to see my mom? It's an emergency.
John: You mean right now?
Lexie: Right now. I think she's ready to name the killer.
John: Hold on. That's Lexie. She says that Celeste is ready to name the killer, and she wants to know if you'll take a session with her.
Marlena: Have her come right over.
John: Are you sure? I mean, you just woke up. You need time to pull yourself together?
Marlena: Have her come immediately.
John: All right. Lexie, she says that she will see Celeste right away. Just have her come to the penthouse. Yeah.
Marlena: Okay, well, I'm gonna catch a shower.
John: I'll, uh, I'll just wait downstairs. I can't tell you how happy this makes me feel. I mean, if Celeste does name the killer, it could end the suffering for all of us.
Marlena: Well, it'll certainly be the end for Celeste.
Sami: Hey, cut him some slack. I'm sure he just forgot to tell us about the camping trip, right, will?
Will: I didn't forget. In denial much?
Sami: Hey, lose the attitude. Let me see that. You know, Lucas, we could both go.
Lucas: Yeah? How about it, will? What do you say? I mean... well, it says here you get to pan for gold, and you get to tell scary stories. That's fun, right?
Sami: Yeah, you could tell the story of your life. That'll scare anybody.
Lucas: Me? You should talk.
Sami: Oh, give me a break!
Will: Oh, yeah. It'll be so fun camping with you guys.
Sami: We're not guys. We're your parents.
Lucas: That's right.
Will: I'm sorry. I keep forgetting. Or was it you who keeps forgetting?
Lucas: Wait a minute now. You can't go without us. It says right here, "family camping."
Will: Doesn't mean I have to go with my own family. I can just tag along with Arthur and Vincent and their folks. At least they're normal.
Sami: Hey, I'm normal! We -- we are normal. You could be normal.
Lucas: That's right.
Will: I've got to go.
Sami: Will --
Lucas: Wait a minute now.
Will: Vincent's mom is driving me.
Lucas: Wait, wait, will, I was gonna drive you.
Will: Don't sweat, Dad. We had breakfast together. I guess that's the most I can hope for.
Sami: Will --
Will: Like they'll ever get married and live together. Forget having real parents.
Sami: God, we are the world's worst parents.
Lucas: Come on, we're not. We're not that bad. Come on.
Sami: Yes, we are, Lucas. God, poor will. What -- what have we done to our son? [Sobbing]
Lucas: Come on, stop. Stop crying. It's gonna be all right, okay?
Brady: So you're admitting it. You are the Salem stalker.
Nicole: Oh, like hell I am. That's what old man Kiriakis wants you to believe. He's probably been setting me up -- him and his hatchet man Nico. You see, my loving husband wants me dead.
Brady: Wait -- he says that you want him dead.
Nicole: Don't worry about your grandfather. He's got Nico and his army of thugs to protect him, right, Victor? That's why I need you, Brady. I need you to stay with me day and night. I need you on duty around the clock as my personal escort.
Victor: Uh, call Marlena Evans Black. Tell her I've said you've lost your mind.
Nicole: Well, unfortunately for you, Victor, I am the exact opposite of deranged. My mind is clear, and I know exactly what I'm doing. And you, Brady, you're going to be my big, beautiful alibi.
Brady: Your what?
Nicole: I need you very, very close to me until the next murder. And then you can vouch for my total innocence.
Brady: Ahh! Not funny, Nicole.
Nicole: I wasn't going for comedy. I am dead serious. It's going to be you and me together for as long as it takes to clear me of murder.
Lexie: Hi, John.
John: Hi. Hi. Celeste. How you doing?
Lexie: Well, my mom's had better days.
Celeste: Yes, I'll be fine once this is all over.
John: I hear that.
Lexie: Marlena, we are so grateful for you for taking time out for us tonight.
Celeste: I feel terrible disrupting your private time with your family. You know, Alexandra, we should just go home and call Marlena tomorrow, darling.
Marlena: No, no, no, of course not. You're here now. I'm so glad you came.
[Pager beeps]
Lexie: Oh.
Marlena: Oh, there you go.
Celeste: Thanks.
Lexie: Ooh. I am so sorry. I've got to go. I'll call you after your session with Marlena, okay?
Celeste: All right, darling.
Lexie: You take good care of my mom.
Marlena: Don't you worry. I'll take very good care of her.
“Next on Days Of Our Lives”
Woman: I'm bunking alone, Miss Brady, and if you don't want to sleep with this man, I'll gladly share my space.
Victor: Who's there?
Belle: Aah!
Celeste: Oh, God! No! No! I don't want to die!
