Bonnie: Hey, what?

[ Groans ] What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you know how much cigarettes cost these days?

Mimi: You quit smoking, Mom, remember?

Bonnie: Oh -- ow!

Mimi: The band's hardly a fashion statement. It's supposed to remind you not to smoke.

Bonnie: You are a major buzz kill, you know that?

Mimi: Really? Well, how interesting you can even be experiencing a buzz when our friends' family members are being murdered left and right by a deranged serial killer.

Bonnie: Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha. Yeah, baby, don't dis your boyfriend.

Mimi: Rex is not the killer, Mom.

Bonnie: Ha ha.

Mimi: He was put in jail by mistake. He is innocent.

Bonnie: Oh, yeah, whatever. As long as he has a good 401k plan.

Mimi: Oh, you think that's funny?

Bonnie: [ Chuckles ]

Mimi: What's that?

Bonnie: Nothing important. It's just a receipt. It's just --

Mimi: This is a list of Maggie Horton's personal belongings.

Bonnie: Give that back to me.

Mimi: Oh, my God, you're going to try and sell them, aren't you? You're going to sell them and pocket the money, just like you did with Jack's stuff.

Bonnie: Well, duh.

Mimi: No. I am not going to let you do it.

*******************

Nicole: You're going to kill me, aren't you?

Victor: You should have let me strangle you while I had the chance, because by the time I'm done with you, you're going to wish you were dead.

********************

Brady: She was an amazing woman, wasn't she?

Shawn: You promised that you'd always be here for me.

[ Sobs ] How will I go on without you?

Shawn: Kimberly. Oh, my God.

Kimberly: Oh.

Shawn: [ Sobs ]

Kimberly: Papa...Mama's always going to be here for you. She always will be.

******************

[ PDA chirps ]

Bo: What's the deal with this thing? What the hell? It's Mom.

Caroline: How could you do it, Bo? How could you let me die?

Hope: Oh, my God.

Caroline: I trusted you. I believed in you. You told me I'd be safe.

Bo: Ma, look, I tried to save you. I did everything I could.

Caroline: You let me down, Bo -- your own Mother. You're a failure...as a Son and as a man.

Hope: Turn it off. Turn it off.

Bo: No, no, it's Mom.

Caroline: I should have known no good would come from your life. My own Son -- letting me die. I hope you're happy.

Hope: Bo, please, turn it off. Turn it off. It's awful. Turn it off.

Bo: Get away from me!

*******************

Nicole: I wish I were dead. At least I'd be free from you.

Victor: Careful what you wish for, my dear.

Nicole: Divorce papers. Well, $100,000 is better than nothing. Give me a pen. I'll sign them right now.

Victor: Any agreement that we had before is null and void. There will be no money -- not one thin dime.

Nicole: What? How can you do this to me? How will I survive? Where will I go?

Victor: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

******************

Brady: You know, Shawn, I always thought of -- of Caroline as being my Grandmother, too. I guess it was because my Dad thought he was a Brady all those years. Turned out he wasn't, he was really John Black, but even so, Caroline and Shawn always treated him like a Son, and me like a -- like a Grandson.

Shawn-d: Yeah, she always thought of you that way, too.

Brady: Hey, you know what? I still remember when -- when Marlena and my Dad, they brought belle over to see you, when you had just gotten back from your around-the-world trip with your parents, and Caroline -- she took one look at you and Belle playing together, and she predicted that the two of you would become Husband and Wife one day.

Shawn-d: Yeah, well, she was right.

Brady: You're sure about that?

Shawn-d: Oh, yeah, yeah. Belle and I are going to get married someday. Nothing could keep that from happening.

********************

Shawn: So did you just get in?

Kimberly: Yeah, I flew out this morning. I didn't know whether I could get a flight or not. That's why I didn't call.

Shawn: Bless you. Bless you for coming.

Kimberly: Oh, Papa.

Shawn: Oh.

Kimberly: Papa, I wish, um...I wish I'd been here sooner, when Ma found out that she was in danger. I wish that I could have helped in some way.

Shawn: There was nothing anybody could do to help, Kim. Nothing. Keep telling myself that. Otherwise, I'd go crazy.

[ Sighs ]

Kimberly: Oh, Papa, Papa, come here. Come here. Your family's here for you. You know that? And Mama would want you to be okay. She'd want you to carry on. She'd want you to be here for all of us.

Shawn: Yes, she would have wanted that.

Kimberly: She would, because you know what? We need you now more than ever.

Shawn: And that's why -- that's why I'm going to get through this.

[ Sobs ] For my kids, my Grandkids. Oh...I am so blessed, so blessed.

Kimberly: Papa, we all are. I mean, to have had Mama...to have had Mama for as long as we did, to have experienced that kind of love from that woman, the joy, that kind of joy -- I mean, that's what we have to focus on right now, Papa, right? Right?

Shawn: Yes. Yes...and we have to stop this killing.

Kimberly: We will, Papa.

Shawn: We will.

Shawn: [ Sighs ] The boys are going to find out who did this to you, Caroline.

[ Sighs ] But you've got to help them. You got to show them the way, give them guidance, help them all you can.

*******************

Hope: Bo, turn it off.

Bo: No. I want to hear what she has to say.

Caroline: Wondering how I can talk to you like this when I'm dead? It's simple. This device you're holding is a conduit to hell.

Hope: Why are you doing this to yourself? The killer somehow managed to do some sort of special video effect to freak you out. You know what? You're letting him do it.

Caroline: I raised you to be a good man and a good Son...but you didn't protect me from evil, did you? Your own Mother. O-o-oh. Oh! Aah! Aah! Oh! Aah! Aah! You -- you got to help me escape! Aah! Help me! Help me!

Hope: That's it. That's enough. Turn it off.

Bo: No, no, no.

Hope: Turn it off, Bo!

Bo: Hope, I'm not going to abandon her.

Caroline: [ Screaming ]

*****************

Shawn-d: Why does it take someone dying to realize how important they are to you? I mean, why didn't I ever tell her? I --

Brady: I'm sure she knew, Shawn.

Shawn-d: How? How? You know, all the times I would come here, I'd tell her what was going on with me...I never even thanked her for listening. And I never asked her how she was --

Brady: No, Shawn, don't -- don't do this to yourself now, okay? I mean, you made your Grandmother very, very proud. She was proud of all of us.

Shawn-d: You know...that this used to be the Brady Fish Market, and before that, the Bradys ran a junkyard. Yeah, that's my family history. But I'll tell you something -- I'm damn proud of it, 'cause through the good times and the bad, my Grandmother has always been there...with her understanding and her wisdom.

Shawn: I can't believe it.

****************

Nicole: You are hardly in the driver's seat where this divorce is concerned. If you don't cough up some major dough, I am not moving out.

Victor: You're hardly in a position to call the shots here, Nicole.

Nicole: Don't underestimate me, Victor. I took out a little insurance just in case this day might come.

Victor: Insurance.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. Remember when you tried to choke me to death? Yeah. I captured that happy little moment, just for posterity.

Victor: You mean you have some photographs. Aren't you clever?

Nicole: Yes, I am. And I am quite prepared to take those photos to the Salem Police Department and charge you with spousal abuse, sex slavery, and anything else my imaginative little mind can conjure up.

Victor: [ Chuckles ]

Victor: Yes, Salem Police Department, I'd like to speak to Commander Brady about one of his more high-profile unsolved crimes.

Nicole: What are you doing?

Victor: Yes, I'm talking about the murder of Colin Murphy.

********************

Caroline: [ Screaming ] How could you do this to me, Bo? How could you let this happen?!

Hope: For God's sakes, turn it off. Turn it off, Bo, please.

Caroline: Aah! It's too late! You let me die! Your own Mother!

[ Screaming ]

Bo: Damn it. Come on. I can't get her back.

Hope: Give me the PDA, please. Give me your PDA, Bo. Give it to me.

Bo: Will you stop it?

Tek: Bo, this just came for you.

Bo: Oh, my God it's from my Mom.

*****************

Mimi: The Horton family would have a collective heart attack if they knew that you were making a profit off Maggie's belongings.

Bonnie: Will you keep your voice down before the whole world hears?

Mimi: The hotrods will find out, Mom. They're smart people. They'll figure out what you've been up to, and they'll report you to the police, and we'll lose everything.

Bonnie: Such a drama queen.

Mimi: I'll lose my friends because they'll no longer respect me, and you'll lose your freedom. Do you not care about that? Your freedom?

Bonnie: I love that you love me so much and care for me so...

Mimi: Oh, I get it. So this is your way of ignoring everything I said and pretending to be all motherly, like I'm the one who has the problem.

Bonnie: You are. You're a worrywart, and if you don't cheer up, you're going to get tons of wrinkles and gray hair.

Mimi: [ Groans ]

Bonnie: Sweetheart, sweetheart, I got to go. I will see you at the wake for Mrs. Brady. Come on. So sad -- all these people dying like flies.

Mimi: And if that isn't bad enough, my Mother is a vulture.

*********************

Hope: What is it, Bo?

Bo: It's addressed to me. From Mom.

Tek: We ran it through x-ray, and everything checked out.

Bo: All right, we're gonna want to send it down to the lab for prints, et cetera.

Tek: All right, I'll get on that now.

Bo: Uh, uh, wait. Make arrangements. Um, leave it here with me in the interim, okay?

Tek: All right, sure.

Alice: Oh, my dear, sweet Caroline. We grieve our loss, but we must treasure the time that we had with you. You added so much to our lives -- your generosity... wonderful sense of humor...your kindness. But you weren't the killer's first victim, and I'm sure you won't be the last. Dear God, when will the streets of Salem be safe again? When will we ever feel safe again?

***************

Bonnie: Oh, my ga-rosh! Oh! Oh, Mr. Horton. Wow, look at all this food. What an outpouring of love.

Mickey: Yeah, the neighbors have been very generous.

Bonnie: They certainly have. So, if you want I should make you a plate of something, maybe?

Mickey: No, no, I'm afraid I don't have any appetite.

****************

Hope: Hey, wait a second. Wait a minute, wait a minute. There's a note in here.

Bo: That's Mom's personal stationery.

Hope: Do you want me to read it?

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: "Dear Bo, as I write this, I'm sitting in the Brady Pub at the bar. I just told your -- I just told your Mother I needed to jot something down, and she generously gave me some of her own stationery. She said she usually doesn't keep stationary down at the bar, but she had written her Daughter Kimberly a note earlier. Kim had called asking for her Mom's Irish bread recipe, and Caroline had been happy to oblige. I mentioned to her that I thought her bread was great. She said she'd love to give me a loaf, since she'd just baked two, but she promised one to her Son. And just then, you came into the bar. Caroline gave me a wink and told me she'd be right back. She said she had to talk to you and give you the bread. I saw you, Bo. You were in your official police mode -- big hurry, important criminals to catch and lock up. You asked your Mom for a cup of coffee to go. She filled your order. You leaned over the bar, and you gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and then you dashed out. You were so intent on going out and finding the killer that you never even saw me sitting there. Caroline came back to me, told me that it was my luck you were in such a hurry. You didn't pick up your bread. So she gave it to me, and now I'm sending it to you. After all, it is the last loaf your Mom ever baked for you. Enjoy it."

Bo: Oh, my God. This is from the bastard who killed Mom.

Hope: She obviously knew him -- or her -- very well.

Bo: And they were right there. Hope, the killer was just a few feet away from me.

Hope: Bo, you couldn't have known.

Bo: I should have known! This psycho's laughing at me. They killed Mom, and I did nothing to prevent it -- not a damn thing!

Hope: Bo, were you at the Pub right before your Mom was killed, getting coffee?

Bo: Yeah. Yes, I was there.

Hope: Okay, well, try and picture it in your mind. Can you remember who was sitting at that bar?

Bo: No, Hope. I can't. Damn it! I'm a cop. I'm supposed to be aware of everything and everybody around me, especially now when we got a serial killer on the loose! Damn it, I could have prevented this! I could have saved my Mom!

******************

Shawn-d: I can't believe it.

Brady: What? What can't you believe?

Shawn-d: This is my teddy bear from when my Mom and Dad and I sailed around the world. My Grandmother gave it to me. I haven't seen this thing in ages.

Brady: Well, how'd it get there?

Shawn-d: I have no idea.

Brady: Well, I have never seen it there on the windowsill before.

Shawn-d: Yeah, me neither.

Shawn-d: Someone must have put it there, but who?

[ Cellular phone rings ]

Shawn-d: Hello? Belle. Hey. Yeah, no, I -- I was just thinking about you. Yeah, I'm hanging out with your Brother. I know. I know, it's horrible. But, uh, hey, you know what? You remember my teddy bear that I had? Yeah, I know. It's going way back. Yeah, I just found it. No, no, here at the Pub. I -- I can't believe it. I haven't seen this thing since I was, what, 7? Yeah, maybe my Grandmother put it out before she died. Sending me a sign? You know, I think you're right. I hadn't even thought about it. That's what this has to be. I love you. You're brilliant.

******************

[ Line rings ]

Nicole: Hi. This is Nicole's cell phone. You know what to do.

[ Beep ]

Victor: Yes, I'll hold.

Nicole: Go ahead. Tell the police I killed Colin. Tell everyone. Then it will be my turn to blab how you covered it up. Sure, I'll go to jail for murder, then you'll get locked up, too -- as an accessory. And you know what the best part will be for me? That you have to admit to your Sons Bo and Philip and your grandson Brady all the rotten things that you've done. And what will they think of you then, Victor, while you're doing 10 to 20 in the state pen?

Nicole: Good choice, vice.

Victor: It's not what you think.

Nicole: Sure, it is. We just played a game of chicken, and I won.

Victor: Don't be delusional. I'm not afraid to turn you in.

Nicole: Then why did you hang up?

Victor: I did it because I don't want to hurt Brady. It would be like a slap in the face to him to find out that his Step-Grandmother's a murdering whore, totally beyond salvation. I can wait.

Nicole: So, now that we're back to square one, you want me gone, but I'm not leaving here until I'm financially compensated for the hell you put me through. I want $5 million, and I'm not leaving here until I get it.

Victor: Nicole, pack Mrs. Kiriakis' things. She'll be moving out today.

Nicole: If you leave me penniless, I will go after Brady and turn him against you just like that. Is that what you want, to lose your Grandson to me?

****************

Mimi: Hey, Brady.

Brady: Hi.

Mimi: The wake's upstairs, right?

Brady: Yes, but not for a while, so make yourself comfortable. I'll be back in a minute.

Mimi: Mom said she'd meet me here. What's taking her so long?

*******************

Bonnie: Oh, Mr. Horton. I've decided to take all these goodies down to the shelter. You know, those poor homeless people almost never get great desserts like this.

Mickey: Yeah, well, that's fine. Take some of this home for you and Connor.

Bonnie: That is so sweet of you, but I never eat sugary stuff.

Bonnie: Mmm.

Quit stuffing your face,

and make small talk

with the old coot.

And then get upstairs

and grab dead red's

designer duds.

Ha ha!

Don't you listen

to that truck stop trollop.

Look at Mickey.

He's suffering so much.

He needs your compassion.

Befriend him.

Help him through

this time of grief. Stop it! Both of you. I know what I have to do.

Mickey: Excuse me? What did you say?

Bonnie: I know what I have to do. I have to make you some tea.

Mickey: No. No, thanks.

Bonnie: Okay, well, then I'm done in here. I'll just go upstairs and get to work.

Mickey: That's fine. That's fine. And I'll pack up Mrs. Horton's things and get them out of the house for you.

Mickey: What?!

Bonnie: I mean -- I mean it just -- I think that you seem so sad. You don't want to be opening that closet and getting all upset seeing Mrs. Horton's stuff in there, especially knowing she's never going to...come home again.

Mickey: Bonnie, you're not taking my wife's clothing out of this house. Absolutely not. It's way too soon.

Bonnie: But I thought you wanted --

Mickey: No!

Bonnie: But --

Mickey: Look, bonnie, just get out.

Bonnie: No --

Mickey: Out, I said! Get out of here right now!

*****************

Bo: What are we doing here? We should be working on this case.

Hope: Bo, we also need to mourn your mother. We need to be witH the family, okay? Come on.

Bo: Hey, Kimber.

Kimberly: Mm.

Bo: I'm sorry, really sorry.

Hope: We're so glad you're here.

Kimberly: Thanks, Hope. I was upstairs with Pop, and he's having a real hard time of it. I mean, why wouldn't he, losing her so sudden like that?

Bo: Yeah, well, it's my fault. I'm the reason she's dead.

Hope: Would you stop saying that?

Bo: It's true. I could have saved her. I will avenge her death.

Kimberly: Hope, um, do you mind if I have a couple of minutes with my Brother? Is that okay with you?

Hope: No, no, of course. I'll go check on your Dad and Gran.

Kimberly: Thank you so much. Hey, tough guy, you got a couple of minutes for me? Come on. Take a load off. Have a seat. It's been a long time. Bo, what I wanted to tell you is that from the bottom of my heart, I want you to stop blaming yourself. We just lost our Mother. That's a terrible loss you're suffering right now.

Bo: We had warning, Kimber. We knew she was going to be next, and we didn't stop -- I didn't stop them.

Kimberly: Because you couldn't. Mama wouldn't want you punishing yourself like this. Now, that's the last thing that Mama would have wanted. But we all got to express our grief. We got to cry, we got to mourn, but this bitterness of yours is --

Bo: What do you want me to do, be happy that Mom's dead? Huh? Look on the bright side? There ain't no silver lining here, Kimber.

Kimberly: Mama believed in God, and she believed in an afterlife. She's in Heaven right now, and she's waiting for us. And we're going to all be there with her someday, Bo. And in the meantime, little Brother, don't you go forgetting the principles that she taught you how to live your life, how to love your neighbor as yourself.

Bo: Are you kidding me with this Sunday school stuff? Do you really want me to forgive the bastard who killed Mom in cold blood?

******************

Shawn-d: Amen.

Shawn-d: You said that this guy would keep me safe, that he'd watch over me and protect me through the night. I know where you are now, Grandma. I know that you're safe and protected. So, in case you need some extra love, right?

Shawn-d: That's all I got to give.

Shawn-d: I'm going to miss you. I love you, okay? I always will. I love you.

******************

Hope: I've never seen Bo like this, Gran. He's so full of hate and anger. He blames himself for his Mom's death. I don't know what to do.

Alice: Darling...

Hope: How do I help him?

Alice: Dear, all you can do is to love him and support him. And wait. Time heals. I know that better than anyone.

Hope: Is that really all it takes -- time?

Alice: No, for Bo to really find peace, he's going to have to learn to forgive.

*******************

Bo: I'll never forgive the bastard who killed Ma. No way.

Kimberly: Maybe you need to sort out your feelings. You want to talk to Marlena? Is that it?

Bo: I love you, and I know you're trying to help, but there's no way in hell I'll ever let go of this anger. I will use every ounce of strength I have to make sure that son of a bitch suffers just as much as he's made our family suffer. And even then, it won't be enough, Kimber. It will never be enough!

******************

Brady: Hey.

Shawn-d: Hey.

Brady: I was just upstairs when you came down, and I saw what you did with the bear.

Shawn-d: Yeah. Made me feel better somehow.

Brady: Good. I'm glad. It was Belle's idea, wasn't it?

Shawn-d: Yeah. Yeah, how'd you know?

Brady: Just sounds like her. Sounds like something Chloe would do, too.

Shawn-d: Yeah, um...have you spoken to her lately?

Brady: No. No, not in a while.

Shawn-d: Well, she's probably going to be gone for a long time then, huh?

Brady: Yeah, the tour is going to run for a couple more years. It's a huge success. I've been keeping track of it on the internet, and I tell myself every single night, "don't go to Cecelia Marin's website." And I always do.

Shawn-d: Well, maybe it's time you start moving on with your life.

Brady: I am. I'm working.

Shawn-d: No, I don't mean work. I mean dating.

Nicole: Is what's in those magazines any better than this?

Victor: Promise me you'll never get involved with Nicole. All I want is for you to be happy, Brady. And I know in the long run, she'll never, ever make you happy. Honor me by giving me your word on this.

Brady: Yes. Yes, I promise. Yes, I...I don't want to hurt Chloe's feelings by moving on without at least talking to her first about it.

Shawn-d: I understand. I mean, it wasn't too long ago...

Brady: What?

Shawn-d: That I, um...well, I was getting involved with -- well, I wasn't really getting involved, but I was helping out this girl without talking to Belle, and, uh...

Brady: Jan Spears.

Shawn-d: Oh, yeah. Man, am I glad that she left town.

Jan: Yes. This is Jan Spears. That's right. I want the mansion redone top to bottom. Yep, I'm back in Salem, and I'm planning on staying. There's some very important things I need to take care of.

Victor: There's no way you're going to be able to get your talons into my Grandson's heart.

Nicole: You want to bet? You've seen the way he looks at me. You have all your money, your -- your bodyguards, but you can't stop me from making Brady fall in love with me. There's no ammunition you can use against me, not with him.

Victor: That's where you're wrong, my dear. You see, I have Chloe Lane.

Nicole: What?

Victor: That's right. I'm bringing Chloe back to Salem.

Bonnie: Ooh.

Mimi: Mom --

Bonnie: Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh.

Mimi: Oh, I can tell by the look on your face your mission of charity didn't go so well.

Bonnie: I think Mickey's on to me.

Mimi: I knew it! Oh, I'm ruined. I'm going to lose all my friends, and you're going to go to jail.

Mickey: Bonnie. We need to talk.

"On the next Days of Our Lives…"

Hope: I am so worried about Bo.

Shawn: We have to find a way to help him.

Kimberly: Yes, we do, or his anger will consume him.

Bo: I failed you, Ma. And I'll never forgive myself. But I will get revenge. When I get my hands on your murderer, I will not wait for the courts to do their thing. I'll send the monster that took you away from us straight to hell.

Bonnie: Are those flowers for little old me?

Mickey: I want you to know I worship the ground you walk on.

Bonnie: Yahoo! Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Shawn: Well, I know who the guilty party is.

Kimberly: Who do you think it is, Pop?

Shawn: Nicole Kiriakis.

Kimberly: Roman, what is it? Oh, my God. No!
