Nancy: Maren. Maren. Latin for "sail." That's a good one. M-a-r-e-N. Maren. It's so great. Mehitabel. No. Moira.

[Gasps] Pasquale.

Craig: Hey. I thought you were going to be at home resting, remember? You were going to go home and relax, read your book, watch your soaps, hmm? I don't want you neglecting yourself, nancy.

> Nancy: Craig, I'm fine. It's the baby that's being neglected. Do you realize that I have been pregnant for weeks and weeks, and we haven't even started to spoil this little one yet? But I'm going to make up for lost time now. Oh, look, isn't it great? Oh! Oh, look, it's a puppet. Oh...

Brady: You know, once you've had your transplant, chloe, you're gonna pick up right where you left off. You're gonna to move to new york, study at juilliard. I can come and visit you. We'll go see the opera. It'll be fabulous. And I promise the ax will not fall.

Isabella: You've told her that you love her. Now give her what she needs -- to know her father.

Brady: I found chloe's father once. I could find him again. He's got to be out there somewhere. What the hell am I doing sitting here?

John: We got to get to that island. You know, doc, there's a good chance that's where lexie was going to take zack. There could be some clues on that island, something that could lead us to tony as the murderer.

Marlena: Please don't use that word.

John: No, no, I'm sorry, but I'm just saying that if hope is dead, then she was murdered. The sooner we face that fact, the bett chance we have of getting rid of dimera forever.

Lexie: Tony, when I looked at bo and I saw all that support surrounding him -- john, marlena, abe -- I knew that I'd never make it. No matter how good our defense team is, if this goes to trial, the whole thing will be over before it begins.

Tony: Listen. Are you finally ready to listen to me?

Lexie: I am done listening. I want you to do whatever it takes. Just get me out of here.

Tony: I will. I will set you free, alexandra.

Lexie: How? How are you going to do it? When?

Tony: Have faith. The plan's already underway.

Larry: I really outdid myself this time. With all the evidence I planted on her, lexie carver is either going to get the death penalty or spend the rest of her life rotting in prison. And not just for a crime she didn't commit, but, even sweeter, for a murder that never even happened.

Hope: [Thinking] Have you read it yet, bo? The letter. I was so careful so larry wouldn't figure out the clues. But I know you did. You couldn't have missed them. Hurry, bo. Please hurry.

Jennifer: I got here as fast as I could. Is there a break in the story? Did they find hope? It's bad news, isn't it?

Hope's voice: By the time you read this letter, I'll be dead. I pray to god this letter will be found and gotten to you somehow. Lexie kidnapped me and zack. She's crazy, bo, and I know she intends to kill me and take our child and disappear forever. There were so many times in the past you've saved me from certain doom. I marvel at how we always managed to defy the odds and beat what seemed to be our inescapable fate.

Hope's voice: But this time I know there is nothing you can do. I don't have much time, and I can't risk lexie discovering this letter. Just knoi I love you and shawn and zack more than life itself. I cherish every moment I've ever spent with you. And I'm comforted, even now, by all those special memories of how we fell in love as children, how we kept that love alive no matter how people or circumstances tried to separate us, how we always felt that love across time and space, and how we will continue to feel our love even after death.

Abe: So you're sure this is hope's handwriting? I'm going to take this over to forensics, see what they have to say.

Roman: Yeah. Thanks.

Jennifer: Jack, are they sure -- are they positive -- that the blood type matches?

Jack: Yeah. Yeah, it would appear so.

Jennifer: It can't be. It just -- it can't be true, jack. It can'T.

Billie: Is that new evidence?

>  Abe: Yeah. I'm taking it down to forensics.

Jennifer: Abe, wait a minute. What is that?

Abe: Can't tell you that.

Jennifer: Look, abe, I am not here to get a story. Hope is my cousin.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, we're here as family. I mean, anything you tell us is off the record until you give the okay. We, uh...we just want to know.

Abe: It appears to be a letter from hope. It's in her handwriting.

Jennifer: That's wonderful. That means that she's alive.

Abe: According to this, hope wrote this letter without lexie's knowledge, and she dropped it so it coulbe found.

Jennifer: Where? Where did she drop it?

Abe: On the way to wherever they were taking her.

Jennifer: Okay, so that's a clue. And I know that you have people searching all over the place wherever that letter was picked up, all right, so this means that hope is not dead. And that is great news, abe.

Abe: Here. You should read it.

Jennifer: She's not asking bo to rescue her. She's saying goodbye.

Lexie: No, tony, I want to know.

Tony: You think you do, but at this point it would be too overwhelming, too much information. Trust me. At the right time, you will know everything. Hey, I have your best interests at heart.

John: Doc, you think I want to play hero here? That's not it. I just want to keep the people I love safe. Ansince I have been given certain abilities, its up to me to liquidate the threat of the dimeras in our lives.

[Cellular phone rings]

Marlena: Excuse me one second.

John: Mm-hmm.

Marlena: Hello?

Roman: Yeah, this is roman. I need a favor, doc.

Marlena: What is it?

Roman: We're not getting anywhere with lexie. I was wondering if you could come down here and try to get her to open up.

Marlena: I'll be right there. That was roman. He wants me to come down and talk to lexie.

John: I see. All right. I'll just stay here and make final preparations for the trip.

Marlena: I'll call when I'm done.

John: Mm-hmm.

Marlena: Wish me luck

John: Always. But more important, be careful.

Marlena: Always.

John: Yeah, it's john black. I'm calling in a favor.

Roman: Marlena's on her way over to give us a hand with lexie.

Abei I hope lexie cooperates. I got to get this to the lab.

Jennifer: Oh, my gosh. I just -- I can't even deal with this. They really seem to believe that hope is dead.

Larry: Hope's in for a less on the fine points of being a prisoner -- a lifelong prisone here's to making every day of the rest of hope's life a living hell.

Hope: [Thinking] Come on, bo, I'm waiting for you. I know you'll find me. I know because -- oh, my god. How could you come for me if you don't kw w where I am? I don't know where I am.

[Aloud] But I'm going to find out. I'm going to find out.

Brady: Local paper. Thank you. "Regional news archives."

[Taps key]

Brady: Please be there.

[Computer beeps]

Brady: I knew it. Zoom in. Crop. Enhance. And... print.

[Printer whirring]

Chloe: Brady, what are you -- I guess I fell asleep.

Brady: Yeah, while I was talking.

Chloe: I'm sorry. How rude.

Brady: No, it's okay. Don't apologize. I'm not offended. Besides, it gave me a chance to do something special for you.

Chloe: What's that?

Brady: I have a picture of your father.

Jennifer: Abe showed us the letter. You know, bo, I adad it, but it just doesn't seem real.

Bo: There's some kind of message in the letter. Somewhere, somehow. I -- or it's a setup -- um, they want us to think hope is dead so we stop looking for her.

Jennifer: Oh, god.

Bo: She's alive. She's out there. I will find her.

John: Oh, no, killing is never my first option, but you have to do what you have to do to keep your family safe. And I want you to keep my family safe -- that's doc, belle, and brady. You take care of them, and I'll take care of dimera.

Skin...it moves and growswith you.

Brady: Want to see what he looks like? That was taken about a year ago.

Chloe: I don't look like him at all.

Brady: Well, it's hard to tell from a newspaper photograph.

Chloe: I don't know. I wasn't expecting someone so normal looking. Brady...

Brady: What?

Chloe: You are so amazing. You said you'd find my father, and you did.

Brady: Well, it's just a picture, but it's a start. You ready? Let's go.

Chloe: Go where?

Brady: To the hospital. I want to make a copy of this and show it to craig so we can get the P.I. Moving again. The more people looking for sykes -- or thompson, or whatever he calls himself these days -- the better chance we have of finding him.

Chloe: I still can't believe I know what he looks like.

Brady: Well, come on, let's go.

John: You know, I'm not sure if there is an airstrip, but I can always parachute in if I have to. You know, on second thought, that might be a viable option. I don't know if the airspace is monitored around the islands. Yeah. That's a fact. You're on standby.

Larry: Next -- finalize travel plans. Of course, not las vegas. Not this time. No, hope will just have to do with an island paradise. Not that she'll enjoy it any more than she's enjoying the room she's locked up in now. Prison is prison, whether you're behind bars like I was or stuck on a deserted island for the rest of your life with no hope of escape.

[Chuckles]

Hope: [Thinking] There's got to be something I can use to open that damn thing.

Tony: Trust that your future will always be safe in my hands, alexandra. I promise you'll always feel secure and well-protected.

Marlena: And how do you plan to do that?

Billie: I don't want to add to bo's stress, but if I can help him, jack, I really think I should try.

Jack: Uh, billie --

Roman: Whoa, billie, you're going the wrong direction.

Billie: I just --

Roman: You've got a shift starting. Get going.

Billie: Captain brady, this is not an ordinary day. Can't somebody cover my shift?

Roman: Look, I don't have time to stand here and argue with you. I got more important things to do, like keeping my brother together. So you hook up with your partner and get out there in those streets now!

Billie: Yes, sir.

Roman: I said now! Go!

Billie: [Groans]

Abe: Forensics says that the handwriting and the fingerprints are hope'S. Kicker is, the paper the letter was written on is torn out of lexie's date book.

Roman: Oh... I'm sorry, abe. It's not looking good for lexie. Or hope.

Tony: Well, marlena, my sister is in a jail cell. A rather bare one, at that. She's understandably very upset. She just revealed to me that she's in fear for her life due to bo brady's thuggish notion of law and order.

Marlena: Bo would never violate the restraining order.

Tony: Oh, come on. To get a dimera -- that's what bo brady lives for. I wouldn't trust him within a mile of my sister. It would be so simple for him to be let in, and while his other officers look the other way. That's why you heard me say that I was afraid for her safety.

Marlena: Lexie, you understand how bo feels, don't you?

Lexie: Of course I do.

Tony: Alexandra's a highly compassionate person. She's a practicing doctor, for heaven's sake. Why does she always have to be the one that's being understanding in these circumstances, when it was the child she raised that was pulled from her arms? And now she's placed unfairly in this prison cell. No one believes that she was framed, no matter how much she protests that she had nothing to do with hope's disappearance.

Marlena: It isn't just hope. It's also zack. And they have a history you can't ignore. Lexie did try to take zack at one point.

Lexie: Isaac was my child then. Look, I've lost him. I've lost my husband. What more does everybody want from me?

Tony: Do you understand what her state is like right now? She is going to be tried and probably convicted of a crime she had nothing to do with.

Lexie: And never would. I vowed that I would let isaac lead a peaceful life with his birth parents. He deserves that.

Marlena: If that's true, then talk to me. Let's try to sort out what really happened.

Tony: Absolutely not.

Chloe: You know, today is one of the best days of my life.

Brady: You've been having a lot of those lately.

Chloe: Thanks to you. Even iwe never find my father, it's so incredible to finally know what he looks like. It completes something inside me.

Brady: You know, when you finally do meet him, I'll be there for you... if you want me.

Chloe: Yes, please. Everything in my life is better when you're with me, brady.

Brady: Nothing is going to disappoint you or hurt you again. I promise you that.

Brady: Oh, my god! It's him!

Chloe: Who?

Brady: It's your father! It's sykes!

Brady: Damn it! I'm sorry, chloe. I lost him. I don't believe this. There he is again. Wait right here. I'm gonna t him.

Chloe: Brady, wait!

Brady: What?

Chloe: It's not him. Look at his face. It's not him.

Brady: You're right. I'm sorry. I guess I want to find your father so badly, my imagination is in overdrive.

Chloe: Well, when you think about it, though, what would sykes be doing here?

Brady: Well, he's as likely to be here as anywhere. Remember when he got scared off at the clinic at dry creek? He had no idea we were from salem, so there's no reason why he'd be avoiding this place.

Chloe: True. I just don't want you freaking out every time you see a man wearing a gray coat and a baseball cap.

Brady: I'm gonna find him, chloe, I promise. You are going to know your father. I'm committed to that... if that's what you want.

Chloe: I do. You're right, brady. I need to.

Brady: I will make sure it happens then. Come on, let's get out of here.

J john: What the hell are you doing here?

Marlena: Why don't you want lexie to talk to me, tony? You afraid of what she might say?

Tony: Maybe I'm afraid her words will be twisted by bo brady and police posse. I will have my sister speak to no one unless she consults a lawyer.

Marlena: Well, there's a mistake. I'm not even sure lexie wants an attorney. But then I can't stop you.

Tony: No, you can'T.

Lexie: Tony, maybe it wouldn't do any harm for me to talk with marlena as long as you stay here with me.

Tony: You're in a deprived state. You've hardly slept. The food is hardly edible. My god, your situation is classic. The local fuzz will grind you to the point where you'll be so desperate to get out

this cell, you'll say anything to please them. No, I will not compromise you. You've heard of the saying "anything you say or do will be used against you"?

Marlena: Patient confidentiality would apply.

Tony: Oh, really? Even if the conversation revealed a crime? What are you, a minister as well as a shrink? What if you discovered someone's in potential danger? Would that be strictly confidential?

Marlena: What are you saying, tony, that she does know where hope is? Is that what you're afraid she'll tell me?

Jack: So, tell me, how's bo? How is he holding up? It was a stupid question, I know. He's a wreck, just as I imagine I'd be.

Jennifer: He doesn't even believe that hope is dead, and I can't blame him. None of us want to believe that that is true. Look, jack, as far as this --

Jack: I know, I know. Just stop. You don't have to say it. I'm not pushing the reporting. To hell with the paper -- these are people we love. They come firs

Jennifer: Thank you.

Jack: I am here for you, jennifer, for as long as it takes.

Mark: I got lucky getting partnered with you -- not because you're so cute. Just, the last time we were out and you found that evidence in the alley, it's like you knew just where to look. It's amazing.

Billie: Hey, mark, how about going to get us a cup of coffee? I could use one so badly, and there's a doughnut shop a couple blocks away.

Mark: Uh, captain brady says we're not supposed to split up.

Billie: Oh, come on, what's a few minutes? We got our radios if something goes down.

Mark: Well, I can't say no to you.

Chloe: Hi, craig.

Craig: Hey, sweetheart. Your mom is in my office making out a list of baby names. She voted down all my suggestions. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Brady: What, she didn't like eustace?

Craig: No. She didn'T. What's up with you? You look like you're ready to burst.

Chloe: You want to see a picture of my father?

Craig: You found sykes?

Chloe: No, but brady did find a newspaper photo of him on the internet. Isn't that incredible?

Brady: Yeah, I suddenly thought that he may have had his picture taken as part of the medical staff at the dry creek clinic.

Craig: Okay, not a word of this to your mom, do you understand that? Do you have the picture? Can I see it?

Brady: Yeah, it's right here.

Craig: Okay, um, look, I-I have got A... patient to see, but I want to make a copy of this. Can you guys stick around for a while?

Chloe: Yeah, definitely. Brady and I will help nancy pick out baby names.

Brady: Yeah, sure.

Craig: Okay. Not a word of this to nancy. Not a word.

Chloe: Ayay.

Craig: See you.

Chloe: Well, if it's a girl... carmen!

Brady: And if it's a boy... pagliacci.

Chloe: Ha ha ha.

Nancy: Ha. I see you ran into craig in the hall. Well, what are you doing here?

Brady: We wanted to have the mac and cheese at the hospital cafeteria.

Chloe: Well, actually, we came out here to find out if you'd gotten the results of the amnio.

Nancy: No, sweetheart, not yet. I'm sorry.

Chloe: That's okay. So, seriously, what names have you come up with?

Nancy: Well, for a boy... rock. And if it's a girl... daisy. Oh...daisy. That was julia roberts' character name in her very first movie "mystic pizza" --

Chloe: "Mystic pizza," yeah. Nancy loves julia roberts.

Nancy: Julia. Julia fiona. That's her middle name in real life.

Brady: As opposed to her fake life?

Nancy: You know what I mean.

Brady: Why don't you just go the whole way? Erin brockovich wesley.

Chloe: Oh, great. Now you've gone and done it.

Lexie: Look, I don't know what the two of you are talking about. If I knew where hope was, I would tell you. But as it happens, I have no idea where she is. I had nothing to do with her disappearance. So there's no way I can incriminate myself, tony!

Tony: That's not what I meant to imply. Marlena is a doctor, could be called to testify on your state of mind in general. I mean, it's just that you have been so upset. You still havet t gotten over the trauma of losing your child. I just don't think it's a good idea to speak to her or any other psychiatric professional.

Marlena: I'm really good at what I do, lexie. You know that. If you're telling the truth, you've got nothing to hide, so why not talk to me? And if I believe you, I could testify on your behalf. All they've got now against you is circumstantial evidence.

Tony: Did the police ask you to speak to lexie?

Marlena: I've worked in the past with the P.D. As a consultant.

Tony: Then you're on their side, not lexie'S.

Marlena: Nobody owns me, tony. I think for myself. In fact, you might start doing that, lexie. Why don't you talk to me?

Jennifer: I just feel so awful for bo, not knowing... I mean, jack, what do you think really happened? Do you think that lexie killed hope?

Jack: Not with her own bare hands. She was here in salem when hope and zack went awol in cedar rapids. She was already in custody when the crematorium break-in went down, but she could've given the order, had some goon do the actual kidnapping.

Jennifer: Roman. What have you heard?

Roman: I got the dna results from the hair and blood recovered from the sweater.

John: Why didn't you tell me you were coming?

Shane: Whoa, lucky for me, you're not trigger-happy.

John: I was wondering who the hell it could be. I can count on one hand the number of people who know about my security entrance. Shane donovan -- you're a sight for sore eyes. Good to see you.

Shane: You too, you too, john. It's been, well, it's been too long.

John: Too long.

Shane: Of course, I hear about everybody from kimberly.

John: Hmm.

Shane: Now, just because we're divorced doesn't mean we don't talk.

John: Right. So, how are the kids?

Shane: Good. Getting big.

John: Mm-hmm. And I assume you are here because of hope's disappearance. I'm sure dimera is connected.

Shane: Ah... john, we have a lot to talk about. I'm going to lay some things on you that, we, frankly, they're -- they're pretty shocking. Are you sure this room's secure?

John: I'd stake my life on it.

Shane: Hmm, you just may have to.

Larry: Not too bright, billie. I told you not to come here.

Billie: I know what you told me, and now I'm telling you something. This has to end right now.

Hope: If I could just ease this open... we can see where the hell I am.

Nancy: Little sabrina is going to add so much to our lives.

Brady: Yeah, like diapers and 2:00 A.M. Feedings, colic --

Nancy: I'm just praying that our new baby will be a bone marrow match for chloe.

Woman: Dr. Wesley. This is for you from dr. Bader. It's the results of mrs. Wesley's amniocentesis.

Craig: Thank you.

John: You want to see something cool?

Shane: Oh, a new toy. Yes, please.

Shane: Ha ha. Hey, that's -- that's expensive. That must've put you back a little pocket change.

John: Well, you know, the isa has high standards. I can't conduct international surveillance inododay's world with yesterday's technology.

Tony: I'm sorry, alexandra, but I know best. You'll just have to trust me. She won't be speaking with you, marlena.

Marlena: If you change your mind, lexie, tell the guard. I'll come right back.

Tony: Yes, well, don't hold your breath.

Tony: If you've come to browbeat my sister...

Abe: I came to tell lexie that the evidence against you is growing. We've recovered a letter to bo from hope. In this letter, she talks about how you planned to kill her and run off wi z zack.

Lexie: That isn't true!

Tony: Don't say anything else.

Abe: And that's not all. The dna results are back on the bloodstains and the hair that was found on hope's sweater. The bloodstains are definitely hope's, and the hair... is identified as belonging to hope and you, lexie. I'll fax these results to your lawyer, but even cameron reese won't be able to talk her way out of evidence this damning.

Tony: I wish it was otherwise, but it's what I feared. These people are not going to give you a fair shake. They've been looking to find something to nail you. Now they have it.

Lexie: Get me out of here, tony. Please, just get me out of here.

Bo: You know what they say -- dna doesn't lie.

Jenfefer: B for you if you need anything -- really, anhing. We have no place else that we need to be right now. Isn't that right, jack?

Jack: Right, right.

Bo: No, fine, go to work. Um, you know, go see abby, do whatever it is you got to do. I'll be okay.

Jennifer: No. And I want you to know that this is not going to run in the newspaper, not until we clear it with you first.

Roman: Good. Good, that'll, uh, give us time to break this to the family. Nobody knows yet.

Bo: No, roman, we're not going to do that. This is circumstantial evidence. I mean -- bloodstains, hair on a sweater -- it's -- it's nothing. There was no body, no one saw anything specific, heard anything. Hope didn't just vanish. If she was dead, I'd know it. I'd feel it, and I don'T.

Larry: I know, the stress is getting to me, too, but you ally don't have a thing to worry about. I know what I am doing, all right? There is no way that this operation is going to be compromised.

Hope: Got it.

Hope: Billie.
