Days of Our Lives Transcript Tuesday 9/25/02
By Amanda
Shawn-d: Hey, if something was wrong, your dad would have called.
Belle: Yeah, well, if nothing was wrong, why wouldn't he call me back? I'm starting to sound like him, aren't I? Totally paranoid.
Shawn-d: No. No. In one week, you've moved out of your house, you have a schedule of classes, and you have a ton of schoolwork. Your parents are over at the hospital taking care of Cassie and rex, and you're worried about them.
Belle: Not about my parents.
Shawn-d: I know you don't think that they would hurt anybody, and I don't think they'd hurt anybody, either, but anytime Stefano Dimera’s name is mentioned, I'm worried.
[Knock on door]
John: Knock-knock.
Belle: Dad, oh, my -- where have you been? I tried calling you. What's going on?
John: Hey, honey. Well, I didn't expect you to be up before 10:00 A.M. I mean, you are on college time now, right? Hey, Shawn.
Shawn-d: Yeah, right. Hey.
John: Anyways, I wanted to stop by here before I went to the hospital.
Belle: Are Cassie and rex okay?
John: Yeah, yeah, it's your mother that I'm worried about.
Belle: Why?
John: She needs to take care of herself, needs to eat, sleep. She's been with the twins around the clock.
Belle: You're going to see her?
John: Uh-huh.
Belle: I want to go, too.
John: Absolutely not.
[Telephone rings]
[Ring]
Craig: Dr. Wesley.
Brady: Yeah, hi. It's Brady.
Craig: Brady?
Brady: Yeah. Chloe's fine. She's just fine. She's with me.
Craig: Thank god. Nancy and I have been trying to get ahold of the two of you.
Brady: Yeah, I know. Our -- we forgot to recharge our cell phones.
Craig: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where are you? Are you still in New York?
Brady: Yeah. Uh, yeah, we're -- we're still in New York.
Craig: Well, can I speak to Chloe, please?
Brady: Yeah, sure. She's right here.
Chloe: Craig, hi.
Craig: Hey, sweetie, how are you?
Nancy: Hi, Chloe! I'm here, too. How are you?
Chloe: I'm fine. I'm sorry I didn't call earlier. I hope you weren't too worried.
Nancy: Me? Worry?
Chloe: So, uh, Philip came home?
Craig: Yeah, he got home okay.
Chloe: And he's all right now?
Craig: Yeah, he's fine -- expect your mom was going to throttle him for leaving you behind.
Chloe: Well, I am in really good hands, believe me. So, how was the light the night walk?
Craig: It was great. It was really great. Actually, your mom and I --
Nancy: No, don't tell her!
Craig: Why?
Chloe: Don't tell me what?
Victor: Philip awake?
Henderson: Yes, Mr. Kiriakis.
Victor: Just?
Henderson: Yes.
Victor: 11:00. Sleeping late, huh? Well, that will change. Oh, this is done. Good. Thank you.
Henderson: Shall I tell Philip that you've come home to see him?
Victor: Thank you, Henderson. I have the situation with Philip under control, and I will thank you to stay out of it.
Kate: I am not staying out of anything -- not my son's life, not your life, and certainly not your business. You and your floozy fiancée have targeted me for the last time.
Sami: God, what kind of meeting place is this? You know what, Brandon? I'm sorry. I-I can't hang out here. Aah!
[Screaming]
Nicole: Welcome to the morgue, Sami.
Chloe: Nancy, is something wrong?
Craig: No. No, sweetie, nothing's wrong. Um, your mom and I were just very worried about you when you didn't show up for the light the night walk, that's all, and she... didn't want to bring it up. We just wanted to know why you didn't call.
Chloe: I'm sorry.
Craig: I guess this thing with Philip and Brady -- something you don't want to talk about, huh? It's okay, 'cause you know what? We won't pressure you.
Chloe: Thanks. So, uh, did Philip tell you anything?
Craig: Um, very little.
Chloe: Good. Uh, look, I'll tell you guys all about it when I come home, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm okay.
Craig: Okay, okay, then we'll see you later.
Nancy: No, no, no. Give me the phone. Hi, honey. When are you coming home?
Chloe: I don't know. Soon.
Nancy: How soon?
Chloe: I don't know, Nancy. Look, there's something that Brady and I have to do first.
Nancy: Well, I thought this was a pleasure trip.
Chloe: It is, yes, but, um, I've decided that I needed to find someone -- an old friend, someone that was at the orphanage with me.
Nancy: And this person now lives in New York?
Chloe: Yeah, yeah. I'm pretty sure. Look, Nancy, I'm really anxious to come home, too, but this is something that I have to do.
Nancy: Okay.
Chloe: Thanks.
Nancy: Be careful.
Chloe: We will.
Nancy: Stay in touch.
Chloe: I promise.
Nancy: I love you, Chloe.
Craig: Hey, miss you, too.
Chloe: Me too. Bye.
Brady: You okay? Well, hey, you were right. Philip didn't tell them we weren't in New York.
Chloe: I knew he wouldn’t. It was just really hard lying to Nancy and Craig.
Brady: Well, you won't have to do that for much longer.
Chloe: If we find my father. Look, maybe it doesn't even matter now if anyone else finds out we're looking. We already scared the man away. Brady, I don't want to do this forever.
Brady: Like I said, Chloe, it's all going to be over very soon.
Chloe: One way or another, right? Look, I'm just dreaming of going home and telling Nancy and Craig that we found my bone marrow donor. Brady, did they sound strange to you?
Brady: What do you mean?
Chloe: I don't know, I just -- I got the feeling that something was wrong.
Craig: So, do you feel better now?
Nancy: Much. It's amazing what one phone call can do.
Craig: So tell me something, Nance. Why didn't you want to tell Chloe about the baby? Hmm?
Nancy: I didn't want to get her hopes up, Craig. I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I'm really pregnant.
Craig: You just can't get behind those test results either way, can you?
Nancy: Do you think I was already pregnant when those tests said I wasn't?
Craig: Could be. False negatives are always more common than false positives. Your cycle isn't so regular, and it might just have been too early to tell.
Nancy: Hmm.
Craig: But we're going to find all that out when we get your little sonogram and we measure the baby and we -- we figure out the due date. As soon as you see that little heart beating, you're going to have no trouble believing it at all.
Nancy: Craig?
Craig: Hmm?
Nancy: I'm having a baby.
Craig: You're having our baby.
Sami: Nicole, what are you up to? What the hell's going on?
Nicole: Brandon didn't send you that note, Sami.
Sami: You are crazy. Oh, my god!
[Elevator bell dings]
Sami: What? Nicole -- god!
Nicole: Shut up.
Sami: Jeez! Oh, what, now you're gonna murder me?
Nicole: I'm not going to let you ruin my brother's life or mine.
Sami: Hey, we are even here. I won't tell victor about Colin as long as you lay off me. Don't forget who started this, Nicole.
Sami: What is that?
Nicole: Formaldehyde. Isn't that what they put in dead people?
Belle: Dad, why can't I go to the hospital with you?
John: Because you have class.
Belle: No, I don't, not for a couple of hours.
John: You have studying.
Belle: No, you just don't want me to see Cassie and rex.
Shawn-d: Come on, you know he let us see them yesterday.
John: Your mother needs some uninterrupted time right now.
Belle: But you're going to interrupt them, right? Dad, you know mom said it would be good for Cassie and rex to see me.
John: What about what is best for you?
Belle: They are my friends, and the more you tell me I can't see them, the more I'm going to feel I need to. Psychology 101.
John: Ah. You want to talk about psychology, fine. Why do you think you're so attached to them? I mean, you can't be friends with someone you couldn't even have a conversation with all summer. Yes, I understand that you think that they are dependent upon you --
Belle: They are, and don't even say that they're not. You saw them yesterday.
John: Yeah, I know. I was there. I saw how they were working you.
Belle: They were not working me.
John: Now, how can you let two total --
Belle: People, dad. They are people, dad, and their names are cassie and rex.
John: Fine, people... who you don't even know inspire more loyalty than your own family.
Belle: I don't even know why I have to choose.
John: Well, you're making a choice by letting them come between us. But you know what? You don't have to worry about it, 'cause you said you trust your mother's going to take care of them, and she's doing that. Besides, you have a life here now. You have school here, right, Shawn?
Shawn-d: Right.
John: I think you should be concentrating on that. That's what I think, so... I love you, sweetheart, and I will talk to you as soon -- if I talk to your mother.
Belle: You're never going to let me see them again, are you?
John: I'm not saying that.
Belle: But you're not denying it, either. Mom promised me, dad. You know that.
John: I'm just going to say this one more time. It's for your own good, sweetheart.
Shawn-d: Hey, hey, hey, hey. It'll work out, okay, so don't make things worse right now.
Belle: Yeah, well, you'd probably like it if it worked out that I never saw Cassie and rex again.
Shawn-d: Oh, you know that's not true.
Belle: I finally got out of my house, and now my dad decides to tell me who I can and can't see.
Shawn-d: He let us see them yesterday, okay? Listen, I hate to say this, but I think your dad is right, okay? This isn't good for you. You're obsessed.
Brady: So, Chloe, why do you think something's wrong at home?
Chloe: Craig and Nancy just seemed... I don't know, tense.
Brady: Of course they're tense. They've been worried about you.
Chloe: I hate to think of having to go back and explain to everybody why I'm not with Philip, since he didn't explain it to anybody. Not that I wanted him to.
Brady: You feeling guilty?
Chloe: Yeah, for not realizing sooner how I felt about Philip. And for letting myself think -- and letting him think -- that I really, truly loved him. I just feel so worn down.
Brady: Do you think Philip would want you to be worried about him?
Chloe: Yes.
Brady: At the expense of your health?
Chloe: No.
Brady: Come on. The sooner we go back to dry creek and look for Sykes, the sooner we can get you home.
Chloe: Brady thanks for being here with me through all this. Brady, we have to find him. We have to.
Philip: What's going on?
Kate: This doesn't concern you. I just need a moment alone with your father.
Philip: But Henderson said you wanted --
Victor: When I'm finished here. Wait for me upstairs.
Kate: I'm fine. It's okay. Listen to him.
Philip: All right.
Victor: Now, would you mind telling me the purpose of this home invasion?
Kate: Oh, as if you don't know. Before Nicole was indisposed, she was having a sporting time raiding basic black accounts. But when she went into the hospital near death, I decided to let sleeping dogs lie. But now that she's recovered --
Victor: It is business, Kate, plain and simple. I run a bigger company, a tighter ship. I can afford to give superior service for less money.
Kate: Oh! And what kind of services does Nicole walker provide, huh?
Victor: Get out of my house.
Kate: I need to talk to my son.
Victor: Out of my house.
Kate: I've been told that Nicole’s acting a little crazy since the coma. What's your excuse, victor?
Philip: Hey, dad... what's going on?
Victor: Your mother had to leave.
Philip: Now what?
Victor: It doesn't concern you.
Philip: Dad, how do you expect me to go away when things are like this between the two of you? Like I could even concentrate in school.
Victor: As if anyone but Chloe had anything to do with your delaying your entrance into Columbia. Don't try and blame anyone else for your lack of motivation. Look, I'm sorry that your ex-girlfriend is sick. That doesn't give you the excuse to mope around my house for the rest of your life. If you're not going to school, you're certainly not going to hang around here.
Philip: Dad, dad, come on!
Victor: Henderson packed some bags for you. Now, are you going to take them to school, or out to the street?
Philip: I've already missed the beginning of the semester.
Victor: I want you out of the house today!
Belle: Obsessed? Am I obsessed with you because I want to spend time with you on a regular basis?
Shawn-d: What does that mean, that Cassie and rex are as important to you as I am?
Belle: No!
Shawn-d: I understand that you care, okay? Believe it or not, I care about them, too. But they're in good hands now. What do you want to do, storm the facility, kidnap them, and hide them out here? Belle, you cannot take care of them for the rest of your life!
Belle: When Mimi needed a house, you didn't say, "sorry, we're not carpenters. We can't help you." When we found out Chloe had leukemia, you didn't say, "our bone marrow doesn't match. We can't help you." Shawn, I am just talking about visiting them.
Shawn-d: They're not your responsibility, belle.
Belle: Well, when you decided that someone was in trouble and they were your responsibility, you felt totally justified, didn't you, even though it made everyone miserable, as long as you were helping out a "friend."
Shawn-d: Is this going to come up every time that we have a problem?
Belle: Shawn, it still is a problem. You wanted to help Jan so badly that it didn't matter if you hurt your family, believed her lies, and sacrificed me. You want to talk obsessed? You were obsessed, because after that, we have lost something that we are never going to be able to get back -- trust.
Russell: Ah.
John: Hello, spector.
Russell: I bet you're here to see your wife.
John: Don't tell me she's not available again.
Russell: Well, she's just started another hypnotherapy session with the twins.
John: Well, she can restart that session after she sees me, can't she?
Russell: Well, she asked not to be disturbed.
John: Damn it, spector! Listen, Russell, I'm very proud of my wife. I know she's the only one who can do this kind of work, and I know why she's doing it, but at the rate we're going, I'm not going to have a family left to protect, you understand?
Russell: Oh, uh, she asked me to give you this.
John: Oh, how nice. What's next, messenger pigeon?
John: "Dear john" -- I hate that --
[Thinking] "I miss you so much. I'm sorry I can't see you right now. I hope you truly understand why I had to do this. After spending all this time with Cassie and rex, I've realized... it's destiny."
Russell: What's wrong?
John: Marlena thinks these twins are her destiny. Kind of sounds like my daughter now. Let me in there.
Russell: Now, wait a minute, john!
John: You let me in there, or I'm going to tell the whole world about this facility, about the twins, and the genetic engineering. I swear to god, I will blow the lid off this whole thing.
Philip: You're throwing me out?
Victor: You actually expect me to support you around here while you do nothing?
Philip: Well, I could work at titan.
Victor: You can put that idea our of your head.
Philip: Dad, its one semester. You're acting like I'm never going to go to college.
Victor: You think I want you to go to college so I can brag to my fellow moguls about my Ivy League son? College is for you, Philip, but you have to learn that for yourself. You'll find out soon enough how easy it is to get a job without a college degree, especially in a recession.
[Telephone rings]
Victor: Now go upstairs and get the rest of your things. I want you out by noon.
Philip: Okay then.
Henderson: It's the nurse from the hospital, about Miss Walker.
Victor: Victor kiriakis. Yes, I saw Nicole this morning. What's this about? What do you mean, she can't be found?
Nicole: You scared, Sami? Good! Now you know how I felt when I woke up and saw your hand on my life support plug.
Sami: You know, when they said you had this post-coma syndrome thing that made you extra mean, I thought, "how in the world will anyone tell the difference?" You know what, Nicole? I think I can tell.
Nicole: All I wanted was a simple "I'm sorry." But you made it much more complicated. So, if you're not going to apologize, I need revenge. And I'm not leaving here without it.
Nicole: Don't you --
Sami: Give it to me! Nicole! Ow!
Craig: Ta-da! Ha ha ha ha.
Nancy: Oh, Craig, you're so sweet.
Craig: Well, now, I can't vouch for everything, but I promise you, the toast is 100% edible.
[Both laugh]
Craig: Go on.
Nancy: I'm sorry, honey, I'm just not hungry.
Craig: You know, studies show that if you eat something, you'll feel better.
Craig: Here. Drink up for the baby. That's a girl.
Nancy: You know, the last time I was pregnant, all I could do was pray that it would just go away. I wish it could've been this way for Chloe.
Craig: Oh, Nancy, you know, carrying a pregnancy to term and then finding the strength to give the baby up was a very brave thing you did the first time. It was. Now -- now you've got a second chance to give Chloe life.
Nancy: Aren't we just so blessed?
Craig: Yeah. We are.
Nancy: Has there ever been a baby that was so wanted or so loved? You know what? You have the best big sister.
Craig: Mm-hmm.
Nancy: I can't wait for you to meet her.
Shawn-d: You're saying you still don't trust me.
Belle: You don't seem to trust me enough to make the right decisions or know what I need. Why do you always know what's best, Shawn? Why are you always right, and everyone has to go along with your way?
Shawn-d: You don't think I learned my lesson? I made a mistake, a big mistake, months and months ago. But you know why I lied about Jan, you know that I would never do that again, okay? And I am sorry. I will always be sorry but I am not going to tell you how to run your life. I respect you too much for that, but do not tell me that I am not a trustworthy person!
Belle: I didn't say that!
Shawn-d: No, but trust is always going to be an issue with us, but not with your best friends, the twins, even if dimera did send them here. They're perfect, and they need your help, but you know what? Why don't you just go devote your life to them.
Belle: Shawn --
Shawn-d: You know what? I've got too much to worry about to talk about this anymore, okay? So call me selfish, call me what you want, but I'm not making excuses for this anymore, all right? Don't give me that.
Sami: Just give it to me!
Sami: God. You know, I don't think that is the kind of physical therapy that your doctor ordered. Gah.
Nicole: Oh. Oh, this is exactly the kind of therapy I need. God, what does it say? Your handwriting is terrible, Sami. "Kate's a pest." No kidding. Oh. "Kate's past." So, what about Kate’s past am I going to read about in the "intruder," huh? Something I already know? I might be able to fill in the blanks for you, make your scoop a little juicier -- ow!
Sami: You know, Nicole, if you're not careful, you are going to wind up in the morgue.
Nicole: Is that a threat?
Sami: No. I'm not the one who will put you here. You are.
Nicole: Hey. Sami Brady! You get back here!
Victor: Nicole. What on earth is going on?
Woman: Here you go.
Kate: Thank you.
Woman: You're welcome.
Philip: Hey, mom, I'm glad you called.
Kate: Sweetie, I am so sorry you had to walk in on that argument between your father and me.
Philip: Is there any chance you guys might make up today for your sake and mine?
Kate: Honey, come on. You have far too much anxiety already about Chloe’s health and your future. I-I don't want you worrying about your father and me. We'll work things out. We always do.
Philip: No, you don’t. And now dad's taking it out on me.
Kate: What do you mean?
Philip: He said that if I didn't go to college this semester -- you know, he kicked me out of the mansion, mom.
Kate: Oh, Philip.
Philip: He thinks I'll be a better person if I learn that college should take priority over the girl I love. And if there's one thing I don't need to learn -- you talk about messed up. Can you believe him?
Kate: Well, honey, I'm sure he also told you that you need to learn to do for yourself. You need to learn to survive on your own.
Philip: Yeah, but that doesn't mean he needs to kick me out --
Kate: Listen to me. I have been there before. I have been far too dependent on the wrong people, and it was a mistake.
Philip: What do you mean?
Kate: It may seem cruel, but we're doing this because we love you.
Philip: We? So what, you're not even going to let me live with you?
Kate: Honey, come on, you know that I will always be here for you. But I live in a hotel room. And, besides, I think it's very important that you learn that you can do this. I already know you can. You are going to be fine, okay? Take care.
Victor: Are you in pain? You look like you're in pain.
Nicole: No, no, I'm just antsy.
Victor: So you took a walk down to the morgue? Do you have any idea how many people were looking for you? It's a good thing somebody saw you get off the elevator.
Nicole: I'm a big girl. I wasn't going to get lost.
Victor: We were worried about you because --
Nicole: I know. I know. You think I'm crazy.
Victor: No, because you almost died. Is it wrong for me to want to protect you, to tell you that I couldn't bear the thought of anything more happening to you?
Nicole: It won’t. All those people who want to get us -- they won't, because you won't let them. So, please, worry about them, not me.
Victor: You'll be happy to know that I followed up on your overture to brad Wallace this morning.
Nicole: Brad Wallace? Oh, I almost forgot.
Victor: Well, I didn’t. You did a brilliant job, and titan's got him.
Nicole: Away from Kate? Way to go! Ow!
Victor: Take it easy, take it easy. There you go. You know, closing deals is nothing compared to what I'm going to do for you after we're married. And if you think you've got everything now, wait until your name is kiriakis.
Chloe: I don't know why I thought -- I mean, of course my father wasn't going to come back. Of course he wasn't going to leave a trail. Their house is for sale. He and his wife have started a whole new life in the witness protection program, somewhere else.
Brady: Thank you. Well, hey, at least we have a real lead now. I mean, Dr. Jasper was pretty sure that Mrs. Thompson has a son out there somewhere. All we got to do is find him.
Chloe: Yeah, except we have no idea what his name is or where he lived, not to mention the fact that he might not even be related to me.
Brady: Chloe, come on!
Chloe: Brady, I'm tired of trying to be positive. I'm just plain tired. Look, Brady, thank you so much for going through all this with me, but I don't need to tell you what reality is. I'm not going to find a bone marrow donor. Brady, I'm not.
Belle: Caprice, did Shawn leave?
Caprice: Yes.
Belle: Not that I'm 5 years old and I need you to take care of me. I mean, I should be able to handle this by myself.
Caprice: Would you be here for me if I needed you?
Belle: But, caprice, you don't ever need me. I don't understand how you did it. You were away from your family for so long when you lived with us, and I've been away from my mom for... oh, it hasn't even been that long. I can't even talk to my dad right now. Brady's out of town. I-I just feel so alone.
Caprice: And Shawn?
Belle: You probably heard our fight. I mean, it's not fair of me to keep holding this whole Jan thing over his head. He apologized a million times, and I forgave him, but...what's wrong with me?
Caprice: Belle, you may forgive, but, baby, no one expects you to forget.
Belle: I told him that I don't trust him.
Caprice: Hmm. Well, that must've been hard to say, but it's better that way than for you to keep it all locked up inside.
Belle: Will I ever get over this? Will I ever really trust him again?
Caprice: Ha ha ha. Well, we both know what I'm going to say to that. Only you can answer that question, belle.
Philip: Hey. Hey... Shawn.
Shawn-d: Oh, hey, Phil.
Philip: Hey, man, what are you reading?
Shawn-d: You know what? I have no idea. Just be glad you have a semester off at school.
Philip: Yeah, right.
Shawn-d: Look, did victor calm down yet?
Philip: No. Actually, when I said I wasn't going to Columbia till winter, he kicked me out of the house.
Shawn-d: He what?
Philip: And my mom decided she wasn't going to let me stay with her, either.
Shawn-d: Whoa, whoa, so what are you going to do?
Philip: I don't know.
Shawn-d: My g-- well, jeez, what if you -- you know what? Never mind. I'm not going to get in the middle of anything else today.
Philip: What do you mean?
Shawn-d: Belle and her dad were fighting about the stupid twins. I took her dad's side, and she got pretty mad at me.
Philip: Tell me the twins aren't still living in your garage.
Philip: Oh, no, no, no. They got taken away by the federal government.
Philip: What?
Shawn-d: Yeah, and it turns out -- big surprise -- they're not aliens.
Philip: Well, I didn't figure.
Shawn-d: Well, yeah, no one else did except for belle. Anyhow, her mom is hypnotizing them so they can remember something about their past, right? Because they can actually talk now. But they don't remember anything about who they were, so it makes for a pretty fascinating conversation, right? Yeah, belle seems to think so, and it's all she wants to think about.
Philip: So, what are you saying? Are you jealous?
Shawn-d: Of Cassie and rex? No, of course not. It's just that I don't have the time or energy to deal with it. You know, I got an alcoholic for a roommate, I have no idea what a derivative is, and, uh... you know what? I'm going to stop, because all this is nothing compared to what you just told me.
Philip: I'll be okay, man. Hey, look, if you need to get studying...
Shawn-d: Yeah, you know what? I-I better get cracking, so... but, um, listen, if there's anything you need me to do...
Philip: Thanks. I'll let you know. I'll let you know.
Shawn-d: All right, I'll talk to you.
Philip: Maybe you and I can help each other, belle.
Sami: God, this place is like a maze. Where the hell am I?
John: I appreciate you interrupting Marlena’s session.
Russell: Feeling better?
John: Yeah, a lot better. I guess I should've known that when Marlena said this thing with the twins was her destiny, she meant professionally. I guess I did. It just hit me the wrong way.
Russell: Well, I understand.
John: You know, you're the only one who thinks I'm not paranoid. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know for a fact that dimera did not genetically engineer those two and then set 'em loose in Salem for sport. I'm sure wherever he is he's getting a great laugh out of watching us bang our heads against the wall. Aliens... now, I know everybody's in love with these Gemini twins, but I got to tell you, I really wish another spacecraft would just touch down here and take those aliens back to wherever it is the hell they came from.
Shawn-d: No. Let her call. This time, she owes me an apology.
Belle: Oh, Shawn, are we ever going to get through this? I don't get it, Shawn. Why do you act like it never happened, like it was all a big joke?
Shawn-d: I never said it was a joke.
Belle: No, no, that's what you do. Something big happens, and once it's over, you're like, "let's pretend it never happened and move on."
Shawn-d: Okay, what are you talking about?
Belle: I think you know what I'm talking about.
Shawn-d: No, okay, you are not talking about Jan.
Belle: Oh, you had to say her name.
Shawn-d: That is what you're talking about. Okay, first of all, nothing ever happened with her, okay? So I don't understand how this is some sort of analogy to what's going on, because all I said is that these aliens are gone, and we'll probably never see them again, okay?
Belle: Stop! Just -- just stop, okay?
Shawn-d: Okay, you know what? I will stop, so you just let me know when you're sane again.
[Knock on door]
Belle: Philip.
Philip: Is it okay if I come in?
Belle: Uh, sure, come on. Um, what are you doing here?
Philip: Uh, looking for you. I just wanted to say that, um, I'm sorry for what I said to you last night.
Belle: Hey, it's okay. You don't need to apologize. I know you were just upset about what happened with Chloe. And before you ask, no, I haven't heard from Brady yet.
Philip: I don't want to put you in the middle, belle. Believe me, right now I feel like you're the last friend that I have.
Belle: That's not true.
Philip: You want to bet? Even my own parents just said, "see ya."
Belle: What?
Philip: Yeah, my dad kicked me out of the house, and my mom -- she doesn't want me, either.
Belle: Philip, I --
Philip: No, no, I don't want you to feel sorry for me. I just -- I don't have a place to go. That's why I came to you.
Chloe: Brady, I'm sorry for all of this wasted time and effort and for everything that you had to go through, but it's time to go home now.
Brady: You say that -- that Chloe and I are supposed to work together, but no wonder I can't make her understand.
I don't understand. What is it exactly that she and I are supposed to do?
Isabella: You have to go on a journey together, one that will bring you home.
Brady: You know what? Chloe, I don't think this trip was a waste of time. I mean, we had to go on it in order to go home.
Chloe: What?
Brady: Nothing. I'm sorry. I'm rambling. Look, I just don't want you to give up, okay? I'm not. I'm going to make sure that you're going to be okay. I'm never going to give up on you, Chloe. Never.
Nancy: I wonder what honey and sugar are going to think about a new baby in the house.
Craig: [Chuckles]
Nancy: Craig, I am talking about this like I really, truly, definitely believe it. We're going to have a baby.
Craig: Oh, it's going to happen, sweetheart.
Nancy: Oh. But I'm not nearly out of my first trimester yet, and you hear about all those numbers --
Craig: Nancy.
Nancy: There's a one-in-four chance of a miscarriage.
Craig: Sweetie, that's just statistics, and it has nothing to do with you. Nothing. Besides, the odds are in our favor,
way in our favor.
Nancy: Then there's a one-in-four chance that this baby will be a match for Chloe. Odds way not in our favor, Craig.
Craig: You know what I think? I think that four is our magic number. A family of four. That's what it means, and that's the only number that means anything. Mm-hmm...
Nicole: Hmm. You know, you didn't have to do all this.
Victor: Well, of course I did. We have to toast your recovery. Non-alcoholic champagne. To our engagement.
Nicole: And to titan's little coup of the day. Eat your heart out, Kate.
Kate: You think it hurt when you got shot, Nicole? When I'm finished with you, you're going to wish you stayed in a coma.
Russell: Well, at least we have them contained, and we've got the opportunity to study them. You know, john, if these Gemini twins are any kind of threat, we're going to find out.
Sami: [Thinking] Okay, did they just say that there are aliens here in the hospital basement?
Sami: Forget about Kate’s stupid past. The "intruder" will have to pay me triple for this story. "Salem invaded by aliens." Ha.
