Sami: So you have another half day at school next week. Some sort of teacher development thing. So you and Mommy are going to be able to have lunch again. Doesn't that sound like fun? Oh, sweetie, come here. Ha ha! Well, Mommy has to go back to work now... if your dad would ever get here.

Will: There's Daddy and Grandma!

Lucas: Hey, Will! There's my man! How's it going, big guy? Oh, you got some ice cream, don't you? That's good stuff.

Sami: Well, here are all your toys.

Lucas: Thank you.

Will: Thanks, Mommy.

Sami: Um, Mommy has to go back to work now, so I'll see you soon.

Lucas: Ready to play? Ready to have a real good time? What do we got in the bag? We got stuff?

Kate: Oh, having a tough time, Sami? Well, just wait. This is just the start of the hell we have planned for you.

[Dialing]

Brady: Hey, you were supposed to call me back, remember?

Chloe: Brady.

Brady: So how'd it go? What happened when Nancy and Craig got back from New York?

Chloe: Oh, you are not going to believe this. The master class audition is on. Cecelia Marin agreed to hear me.

Brady: Are you kidding? That's great.

Chloe: Yeah, I go to New York in July when my throat is all healed.

Brady: And you were so sure that Nancy was going to ruin everything.

Chloe: I wanted to strangle her.

Brady: I know. I was there. So how'd they pull it off?

Chloe: I want to tell you in person. I can't wait to see the look on your face when I tell you the whole story.

Brady: All right, uh, I'm at Salem Place. You want to meet?

Chloe: Java Cafe in 15 minutes?

Brady: You got it.

Chloe: Okay, bye.

Craig: Sounds like someone is in a good mood.

Chloe: Thanks to you and Nancy. Come here.

Craig: That's my girl. Listen, I'm here to tell you that Nancy is sorry she couldn't stay around all day with you, but she had to go to the station and do her radio show.

Chloe: Oh, that's okay. There will be other days. Besides, I have plans to meet someone.

Craig: Mm-hmm.

Chloe: I'm going to go get my purse.

Craig: Okay.

Chloe: Ow!

Craig: You okay?

Chloe: Yeah, I'm fine.

Craig: Sure?

Bo: You want to play ball, a little hand-eye coordination? You ready?

Bo and Hope: 1, 2, 3!

Bo: Catch!

Hope: Oh, that was a great catch! Let's throw it back to Daddy!

[Doorbell rings]

Bo: No, hang on. Abe, uh, thanks for coming over.

Abe: Yeah.

Bo: Come on in.

Abe: Hope.

Hope: Abe, hi.

Abe: Hey, hey, Isaac. Hey. How you doing, sweetheart, huh? How are you, huh? Yeah.

Bo: Abe, um, we've decided to call him Zach.

Jack: Lexie, if I could just have one -- just one little moment. Um, if you could answer one last question before you leave --

Lexie: What is it, Jack?

Jack: If the baby switch occurred in the nursery, as you've implied, does that mean you hold the hospital responsible for the loss of your 2-year-old son?

Lexie: Damn right I do, and I intend to sue for gross negligence, criminal neglect, and malpractice. By the time I'm finished, University Hospital will be totally disgraced and bankrupt.

Brenda: What?

Lexie: That's right. And you'll all learn the price you pay when you cross a DiMera!

Jack: What parties will you be naming in the suit?

Lexie: Board of directors, chief of staff, head of pediatrics, and they won't stop me, I promise you that.

Jack: What amount will you be suing for?

Lexie: This isn't about money!

Jack: What is it about then?

Lexie: You have to ask, what it's about? It's about justice!

Jack: Justice, revenge, publicity, what?

Celeste: That is enough! Come, darling, come.

Jennifer: He is good, isn't he?

Colin: Better call Dr. Wesley. Tell him what's going on. Meanwhile, I'll take care of Lexie Carver and that damn reporter. Deveraux!  Your time is up.

Craig: Wait a minute. Lexie Carver is suing the hospital? Oh, great. This -- all right, Brenda, Brenda, listen to me. Just call my secretary, tell her I'm on my way, and tell her to have the chief legal counsel in my office when I get there. Damn it.

Chloe: Craig, is something wrong?

Craig: No, no, just... A situation at the hospital that you do not have to worry your pretty little head about, okay? Is that from when you bumped your leg earlier?

Chloe: It's just a little sore, that's all.

Craig: Can I see it?

Chloe: No, it's fine.

Craig: Chloe, can I see it, please? Sweetie, this bruise is from when you just bumped your leg?

Chloe: I think I must've hit it a little bit harder than I thought.

Craig: Chloe, sweetie, when I asked you earlier about your energy, you said you were getting stronger. Were you telling me the truth?

Chloe: What, you think I'd lie?

Craig: Well, I think you might lie if you were worried about upsetting your mother and me. Are you getting stronger, Chloe?

Chloe: Yes, a little.

Craig: Chloe.

Chloe: Okay, not really.

Craig: So you're still getting tired.

Chloe: A little, but I've had the flu.

Craig: Come here. Give me your arm. Now, see, honey, you're still getting symptoms. Why didn't you tell me?

Chloe: Because it's no big deal.

Craig: No, it is a big deal. Let me be the judge of that. Okay?

Craig: Look, I got to get to the hospital. I want you to come with me, and I want you to get another blood test. Come on.

Chloe: Now? I have plans.

Craig: You're going to postpone them, all right?

Chloe: Craig, come on.

Craig: Listen, standing here arguing about it is not going to get it done faster.

Chloe: Okay. Since you obviously won't take no for an answer.

Craig: Let me get my keys.

[Cellular phone rings]

[Ring]

Brady: Hello.

Chloe: It's me.

Brady: Chloe, where are you?

Chloe: I'm still at home. I'm running a little bit late. Uh, can you wait for me?

Brady: Okay. What are we talking about here, half an hour?

Chloe: Yeah, something like that. Um, if it's longer, I' give you a call.

Brady: All right, I'll see you when you get here.

Sami: Will, honey, you have everything you need in your backpack and the bag, all your toys, so if you need Mommy, you can just call me at the office or on my cell phone. Okay, sweetie?

Lucas: He'll be fine, Sami. We're going to be having too much fun for cell phones, aren't we, Will? We're going to the St. Luke's carnival.

Will: I want to go on the bumper cars.

Lucas: Do you really? I'll tell you what. You got it. No problem.

Sami: No. Will, those are too dangerous, okay, honey?

Lucas: They're perfectly safe. I'll be doing the driving, anyway, so just relax.

Will: There's Uncle Brady!

Brady: Will! All right, man, what's up? Give me five!

Will: What's up?

Brady: How's everybody doing?

Sami: Swell.

Brady: Good. Uh, Kate, that marketing report you asked for is on your desk.

Kate: Oh, that's great. Thanks.

Brady: Uh, Will, what do you say we go take a look at the yo-yos?

Will: Yeah!

Brady: Is that cool with you, Lucas?

Lucas: Yeah, it's fine. Go for it.

Brady: Come here. And I'll race you.

Lucas: Beat him, beat him!

Sami: You two may think that you have the upper hand --

Kate: Oh! No, no, no. I know we do. Because Victor still has that tape of you confessing to all your lies, your crimes, your schemes, so you see, you really are a dead duck. You just don't have the sense to stop quacking.

Sami: It's only a matter of time before I'm on top again, and the two of you are history.

Kate: [Gasps] ooh, look at me, I'm trembling.

Lucas: Oh, yeah, me too, Mom! Me too. You know what, Sami? I have great news. Well, for me, that is. And you -- you're going to hate it.

Jack: Excuse me, I'm not finished questioning her yet.

Colin: You most certainly are.

Jack: As I recall, the first amendment of the constitution guarantees the right of free assembly.

Colin: This is a trauma center, not Washington Square. A private hospital.

Jack: Supported by public funds!

Colin: Well, I'll just have security escort you to the door.

Jack: I have a right to be here!

Colin: Not for impeding the treatment of a patient -- my patient. Dr. Carver is in no condition to be questioned and harangued. Dr. Carver?

Jack: I'm going to find out what's going on here, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Does that worry you? Is it because you might have prior knowledge of what's going on here and you might be implicated?

Colin: I'll tell you for the last time, I wasn't even in the country when this so-called baby switch occurred.

Jack: No, you were in North Africa trying to seduce my wife.

Jennifer: Maybe I should go over there and break this up.

Brandon: I just want to hear what they're saying about you.

Celeste: Alexandra. What on earth were you thinking, calling yourself a DiMera in public, and in front of a reporter?

Lexie: I have nothing to be ashamed of!

Celeste: Well, now, that kind of thinking is only going to get you into deeper trouble, especially since your guilty plea is still pending, and you're waiting for the judge to decide your sentence! Now, forget this lawsuit nonsense and instead pray that you don't go to prison!

Bo: Abe, you were as much a victim in this whole mess as anybody.

Hope: You've been so strong, selfless. As soon as you learned that Zach was mine, you did everything in your power to bring him back to me.

Abe: I just did what I knew was right. I really don't deserve any credit for that.

Bo: Yes, you do, Abe. I mean, you not only helped us, you did it generously and lovingly under the worst possible conditions. You're a good honest man. Zach couldn't ask for a better role model.

Hope: We always want you to be a part of Zach's life.

Abe: I'd like that. But... You know, being here right now, it's...

Bo: Yeah, I know, it must be very difficult, but don't you think with time it might get easier?

Abe: Guess it'll have to, huh?

Hope: Yeah, especially if you're going to be his godfather.

Sami: So, what's the big news? Have you started drinking again? I mean, it's obviously not that you got a job because no one in their right mind would hire you.

Lucas: No, actually, I'm taking will away for a very long weekend.

Sami: Oh, that's so sweet. Too bad it's a pathetic fantasy.

Kate: We told you you were going to hate the idea.

Sami: I don't just hate it. I forbid it. It's out of the question.

Lucas: Yeah, the only thing is, we haven't decided where we're going yet. Obviously someplace that caters to children.

Sami: Will can't leave town. He's got to be here for the Brady family christening and for my sister belle's high school graduation.

Lucas: Ooh, that's just too bad he's going to have to miss all that boring stuff, isn't he, Mom? Isn't that a shame?

Kate: Definitely. Oh, and do remind Sami about the summer vacation plans.

Lucas: Oh, right.

Sami: What?

Lucas: As per your agreement with Victor, yeah, I'll be taking Will away for the entire summer break.

Sami: The entire -- Lucas, you can't do that. Take him away for the whole summer? He'll be homesick. He'll resent you, Lucas. Use your head.

Kate: No. No, no, no. Actually, he's very excited about the plans.

Sami: You're taking Will for the whole summer. Then why do you need to take him away this weekend?

Lucas: Well, let's see, um, well, because I feel like it!

Kate: Oh, how the mighty fall. It looks like your, what, 10 seconds of power are over. History.

Sami: I wouldn't feel so confident if I were you. Victor still has those sleazy and disgusting photos of you as a hooker.

Kate: Shh! Keep your voice down.

Sami: Not to mention that he is one of many people in this town who'd like to squash you like a bug, which means you'll never know when he's going to use those photos to bring you down.

Abe: It would be my honor to stand up for I-- for Zach. Look, I-I want to say that, uh, you both have also behaved honorably throughout all this. You've shown compassion to me and to Lexie, and you have been great friends. Bo, um, I know you're going to be a loving father to this little boy, just like you've always been to Shawn and J.T. So thank you. It would be my privilege to be Zach's godfather. I love him. I'll always be there for him.

Isaac: Daddy. Daddy.

Celeste: Do you hear what I am saying to you, child? Get this obsession with this DiMera power out of your mind. And why would you say anything to the press? Don't you remember what happened the last time your husband caught you talking to a reporter?

Lexie: I don't care what Abe thinks or what anyone thinks. All I care about is getting my son back. And by God, I'll punish the people who broke up my family, starting with this hospital.

Celeste: You sound so much like your father you frighten me. Just how far do you plan to go with this madness, Alexandra?

Jennifer: Why do you assume they're talking about me?

Brandon: You know that they are.

Jennifer: Why, because I'm the hot topic in Salem these days? I don't think so. But you know what? It doesn't matter what those two are talking about because I am interested in you right now and in us and our vacation weekend.

Brandon: Have you packed yet?

Jennifer: No! I mean, we're only going for a couple days, you know. We don't leave till Friday, so, I mean, what do I really need to bring? Just casual clothes for during the day, and, you know, for at night, I just --

Brandon: Hey. No pressure, okay? It's just going to be about being together, getting to know everything about each other.

Kate: I trust Victor a hell of a lot more with those photos than I would ever trust you.

Sami: Well, then you're a damn fool because Victor would loving nothing more than to see you humiliated.

Kate: He adores his son. You know, that was your big mistake, when you threatened to show Philip those photos. I mean, not that Victor didn't think you were the scum of the earth before, but that made him really want to destroy you.

Sami: I don't need to listen to this.

Kate: Oh, yes, you do, because you can rant, you can rave, you can do whatever you want to do, but you know something, Sami? The truth is, you lost. We won.

Sami: You're trying so hard to convince yourself of that, but you know it's not true, because Sami Brady is invincible, unbeatable, indefatigable, and superhumanly powerful when it comes to protecting her turf. And that is exactly what I'm going to do. So watch out.

Brady: All right, just like I taught you -- like this. There you go! Nice!

Sami: Sorry to interrupt, but I'm going to need to say goodbye to my son. Goodbye, Will. Be good for Daddy. I love you.

Lucas: Well, gee, it looks like Sami's in a bad mood. That just breaks my heart.

Jack: There are just too many unanswered questions about you.

Colin: I need to get back to my patients.

Jack: Fine. You do your job, and I'll do mine, which is digging up dirt. And if there's any dirt on you, doctor -- and I suspect there's mucho -- I'm going to bury you up to your neck in it!

Colin: You just can't stand that Jennifer turned to me while you walked out on her!

Jack: You don't know what you're talking about! First of all --

Jennifer: Would you please lower your voices?

Craig: Excuse me. You, out of here right now.

Jack: What are you afraid I'll find out, Dr. Wesley?

Craig: I want you to listen to me. No reporter works here without permission, so you can get out on your own, or I'll have security throw you out. You understand?

Jack: Right. Right. Ahem.

Craig: Colin, may I speak to you for a second, please? Chloe, I'll be just a minute, okay?

Chloe: I hope so. I told you I'm meeting someone.

Craig: I promise. Um, listen. I'm worried about Chloe. She, um, she's still fatigued, and she's bruising easily.

Colin: But the numbers were much better on her last test.

Craig: I know, I know. I'm just -- I'm afraid they might have changed. Look, will you do me a favor? Will you run another full blood-work up stat, and make it seem like it's routine? I don't want to get her worried, okay?

Colin: I'll get on it right away.

Craig: Thanks.

Celeste: Please, darling, let's just go home, all right?

Lexie: No. I'm not going anywhere until I tell Craig what I think of him and his damn hospital.

Brandon: You should listen to your mother, Lexie.

Lexie: I didn't ask for your advice.

Brandon: We need to talk. You've gone too far, Lexie. Suing the hospital? Come on, do you really want lawyers and cops digging into how these babies got switched?

Lexie: I told you, I don't need your help.

Brandon: I may be the last friend you have. But if you go ahead with this lawsuit, I could be called as a witness, and I don't think you'd want me to tell the truth -- the whole truth -- would you? Because I know a hell of a lot more about what you knew and when than anybody else.

Abe: Daddy, huh? Always used to call me "Dada."

Hope: Marlena thought it might, uh, ease the transition for Zach if he were to use different names for us. He picked up "Daddy" pretty quickly, but he still hasn't called me "Mommy" yet.

Abe: I'm sure he will.

Bo: Abe, um, have you heard anything about DiMera lately?

Abe: No, no, he's been -- he's been quiet. Too quiet.

Hope: Lexie's never going to accept what's happened, and neither is her father.

Abe: Well, I wish it were otherwise. You know, you've been through enough. I wish you could have peace of mind.

Bo: Huh. Peace of mind when DiMera's involved? That's impossible.

Hope: We think they're plotting against us, Abe.

Bo: As you know, DiMera would do anything to keep his daughter happy.

Hope: We think they're going to try to take Zach away from us, give him back to Lexie. We will return for the second half of "days of our lives" in just a moment.

Bo: Come here, little guy. I've arranged to have a security detail at the church for this -- this little guy's christening.

Abe: Yeah, well, that's a good idea. I'll keep an eye on Lexie, and I'll do whatever I can to keep her away.

Hope: Thank you, Abe.

Bo: Thanks.

Abe: Yeah. I'm going to have to go, so I'll see you later, Zach, huh?

Bo: Say bye. Bye-bye.

Abe: Bye.

Bo: Bye-bye. Thank you.

Abe: Yeah.

Bo: Well, I think it's time to get this little guy ready to go buy his christening suit, huh?

Hope: I think maybe you should stay at home with him, and I'll go get the suit.

Bo: No. I know you're worried about him. I am, too. But we're all going. I will not live my life in fear.

Colin: How are you feeling, Chloe?

Chloe: Okay. But my mother is a real worrier, and since Craig is a doctor, they tend to overreact every time I so much as sneeze.

Colin: Always better to err on the side of precaution.

Chloe: Yeah, well, I've rescheduled my audition in New York for July, and there's no way that I'm missing it. I have to go.

Craig: How's my girl? You all set?

Colin: Yes, we're done.

Craig: Good, good. So do me a favor. Go home and get some rest, okay?

Chloe: I told you I'm meeting a friend at Salem Place. I can't.

Craig: Chloe, don't object, okay?

Chloe: I promise I won't be late.

Colin: Hopefully the blood count will be as good as it was last time.

Lexie: How dare you threaten me?

Brandon: Hey, I risked going to jail by hiding you when you were on the run with Hope's baby.

Lexie: Isaac is my baby!

Brandon: Damn it, Lexie! You've got to get a grip. You're in this up to your neck. You knew about this baby switch for over a year, and you never said a word to anybody except me. If you go ahead with this lawsuit and the truth comes out, you are going to be in a lot more trouble than you are already. Use your head and let it go.

Jack: This baby switch story could be Pulitzer material.

Jennifer: Yes! It's a big story -- if we get the truth.

Jack: We will, and we'll be back on top again, just like old times. We got to put our heads together and come up with a strategy...

Jennifer: Yes. Yes.

Jack: Over dinner tonight. We can talk ab--

Jennifer: No. No, we can't do that. We can talk about it at the office. I need to find Brandon and say goodbye.

Brenda: Lunch is one hour, Sami.

Sami: Um, oh, I'll make it up tomorrow. We have a serious problem, Jack.

Jack: I'm thinking things are looking pretty good.

Sami: Well, why don't you think again?

Jack: Hmm?

Sami: We've got to find a way to break them up.

Brady: You're going to be a yo-yo champ someday, big guy.

Will: Thanks, Uncle Brady.

Brady: You're welcome. Anytime. All right, Lucas, I'm going.

Lucas: Okay.

Brady: See you later.

Lucas: All right, thanks, Brady, I appreciate it.

Brady: You got it. So long.

Kate: Bye.

Lucas: Pretty fun.

Will: Can I practice with my new yo-yo now?

Lucas: Sure, absolutely. Just stay close so I can keep my eye on you, okay?

Will: Okay.

Lucas: Be right back. We certainly aced Sami, didn't we?

Kate: Oh, please. Don't underestimate her. She's determined, and she's vindictive, and when she comes at us again, we have to make sure we can stop her in her tracks.

Lucas: Come on, now, Mom, can't we just at least enjoy the victory?

Kate: Honey, we won the battle, but Sami is still at war -- I guarantee it -- and we can't drop our guard for a second.

Lucas: Well, you know what? I'm not going to be paranoid about it. All I plan to do is have a real fun summer with my son over there, get as far away from Sami as I possibly can.

Kate: Lucas, would you consider taking Will away for the summer...

Lucas: Yeah.

Kate: And never coming back?

Jennifer: Oh, you know what? I almost forgot. On my way here, I stopped by the travel agency, and I got this brochure on the Green Mountain Lodge and everything it has to offer -- all the services at the spa and the spacious rooms, and there's an outdoor hot tub.

Brandon: Mmm. Sounds great.

Colin: Can you put a rush on Chloe Lane's blood-work, I hope?

Brenda: Oh, they'll get you those results before the end of the day, if not sooner.

Colin: Thanks.

Brenda: Oh, and, doctor, will you be taking off early on Friday? I mean, since you're going away for the weekend, I just thought that --

Colin: No. I'll be here a full day.

Brenda: Ahh. Green Mountain Lodge, huh?

Colin: Shh.

Brenda: I'm sorry. I forgot you didn't want anybody to know about where you're going or who you're going with.

Colin: That's right.

Colin: Let me know when those results come in.

Brenda: Will do.

Celeste: Sami, you've got --

Craig: Are you threatening this hospital with a lawsuit?

Lexie: What, you want to try to talk me out of it? Like I'd listen to you, you rude son of a --

Craig: What the hell is the matter with you?

Lexie: Oh. Haven't you heard? I lost my son, thanks to your pitifully run hospital.

Craig: No. No, no, no, no, no. Don't point your finger at this hospital. Don't you dare.

Lexie: Let's get out of here. This man makes me will.

Craig: No, no, no. You know that there is no way in hell that two babies could be switched, not here, because we have state-of-the-art security. You know all about that, don't you, dr. Carver?

Lexie: Everyone here thinks you're a jerk. Do you know all about that?

Craig: Lexie, you were working in pediatrics at the time of the fiasco. You had full access to the newborn nursery, and a year later when they brought you in here to the emergency room after the explosion at the Tuscany, you babbled something to my wife about a baby switch, and then you made up some lame excuse to cover it up.

Lexie: Your wife is such a liar.

Craig: No. That would be you. You know a lot more than you're letting on, but you'll be exposed. One day you will be exposed, and if you want to take it to court, fine. But I have no doubt in my mind that you will become a bigger loser than you already are.

Lexie: Bastard.

Celeste: Alexandra, he is right about that lawsuit. That's exactly what I was saying.

Lexie: Look, I -- I have to get out of here.

Celeste: All right, all right, then let's just go.

Lexie: No! No, I want to be alone. I'll see you later at home.

Sami: Hey, Brandon. I just, um, was going over the weekend schedule, and I noticed that you took yourself off the on-call list. Why is that?

Brandon: Is that part of your job, now, Samantha -- interrogating staff members about their personal lives?

Sami: Well, no, of course not. I guess I was just curious. But I guess 's pretty easy to figure out that you're going away with Jennifer.

Craig: Hey.

Colin: The results should be in later today. I've put a rush on them.

Craig: Okay. I wish I could be more anxious about them.

Colin: I hope -- well, we should know soon enough, won't we?

Craig: Yeah. I mean, just it's... to try to be optimistic about Chloe when all her symptoms seem to indicate that -- you're right. Just like you said, we'll know soon enough.

Chloe: Hi, Brady. I'm sorry I'm so late.

Brady: Yeah, it's a diva thing, I know. Make 'em wait. It's cool. You're worth it. So, uh, what held you up?

Chloe: Oh, Nancy and Craig had something for me to do that just couldn't wait.

Brady: You know, I still can't believe that Craig and Nancy pulled it off. I mean, you're saying that they actually got Cecelia Marin to reschedule your audition? Here you go.

Chloe: Thanks. Yeah. Pretty amazing, huh?

Brady: And you were so worried that they had ruined everything.

Chloe: You love it when I'm wrong, don't you?

Brady: It's one of my favorite things, aside from raindrops on roses.

Chloe: [Laughs]

Brady: I know.

Chloe: Well, you had better enjoy it like crazy, Brady Black, because it's never going to happen again.

Brady: Oh, really? So tell me, how did they pull it off? How did they get her to give you another shot?

Chloe: Oh. Long and weird story short. Craig posed as a masseur, and Nancy and Cecelia got into an argument. Cecelia was screaming, and then started freaking out about losing her voice. Craig made Nancy leave so he could be alone with Marin, and then Craig, who had done all this research on the woman, told her that he knew about her past as -- get this -- a hog caller.

Brady: No.

Chloe: Yeah, and she didn't want him to spread the word, so now I have another chance to audition.

Brady: What was so weird about that?

Chloe: Yeah, I guess that is pretty normal for Nancy and Craig, right?

Brady: Absolutely. So Marin was a hog caller. Hmm. Well, I guess this gift will have more meaning after all. Or maybe not, I don't know.

Chloe: What is this?

Brady: Go ahead, open it.

Chloe: Oh, my God. Brady, it's adorable.

[Pig squealing]

Brady: Sounds just like you.

Chloe: [Gasps]

Jack: [Thinking] That baby switch was no accident, and I'm not giving up until I find out who was responsible and how and why they did it.

Celeste: Every day, Abraham, I pray, I hope against hope, that Alexandra will begin to heal and come to her senses, but every day she sinks deeper and deeper into this abyss of misery and self-destruction.

Abe: She needs help. Psychiatric help. And since she doesn't trust me anymore, you're the only one who can persuade her.

Celeste: But, darling, I can't. Don't you see? Alexandra's not interested in feeling better, being happier. She's obsessed with getting her son. And not only that, but, uh...

Abe: Not only that? What else?

Celeste: Abraham, she was at the hospital earlier, ranting and raving about suing them, holding them liable for the loss of her son.

Jennifer: Yeah, that's great. Yes, and make sure I have those front page leads on my desk when I get back, okay? All right. Yeah, thanks, Harold. All right, I got to go. Bye.

Hope: Look at that.

Jennifer: Hey, cuz, hey, Bo.

Bo: Hey, how are you?

Hope: Hey, Jen, how are you, sweetie?

Jennifer: Good. Hey, cutie pie.

Jennifer: Hey, how are you doing, sweetheart?

Bo: Zach is doing great.

Jennifer: Zach?

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: A little name change to help ease the transition.

Jennifer: Zach Brady?

Hope: Zach Brady.

Jennifer: He's a rock star. No, no, he's going to be a race car driver.

Bo: Well, we're thinking something a little more secure, like merchant marine or policeman or --

Jennifer: Of course. Okay, I understand. Luckily, he has a long time before he has to worry about that.

Hope: Yeah.

Jennifer: Yes, you are so lucky to have two parents who love you so much.

Hope: I think he knows that.

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: He smiles at us more and more every day, don't you, sweetheart? Hey, Zach.

Jennifer: He does. I can really see that. And I know there's an adjustment period, but when you look in his eyes, he looks like he knows where he belongs.

Isaac: No, no, no.

Bo: Okay, you do it. He wants Mom to do it.

Hope: Yes, he does. Hey, there's something we want to ask you.

Jennifer: Yeah, anything. What?

Bo: Go ahead.

Hope: Okay.

Isaac: [Babbling]

Hope: Uh, would you do us the honor and be Zach's godmother?

Jennifer: Are you serious?

Hope: Yes.

Jennifer: Oh, my goodness, that is the best offer that I have had in forever. Really?

Bo: Really. We couldn't think of a better person for the job.

Isaac: [Babbling]

Bo: It'll make us feel secure -- yes, that's your hand. Make us feel secure knowing that you're going to be here for this little guy. There you go. That's right.

Lexie: [Thinking] "We couldn't have chosen a better person for the job." Well, you're about to be laid off from that job, Jennifer, because it won't exist. My baby is coming back where he belongs. He's Isaac, not Zach, and he's mine.

Sami: So, was I right? Is Jennifer the lucky lady you're taking away this weekend?

Brandon: Stop interfering in my business, Samantha.

Sami: Hey, Brenda. You know, um, I was looking over the schedule for this weekend, and I noticed that Brandon is not on it.

Brenda: Yeah, so?

Sami: Well, I know it's not my job, but I was just looking out for you. I realized that we might be a little bit understaffed.

Brenda: Let me look at that. I want to see. Oh, we are shorthanded this weekend, you're right, and dr. Murphy's going off call as well.

Sami: What's he doing?

Brenda: He's going away for the weekend, too. Seems to be a trend around here. Oh. I didn't say that.

Sami: What?

Brenda: That Dr. Murphy's going away. He didn't want anyone to know about his plans.

Sami: Oh. Okay, well, sure, I won't tell anyone.

Brenda: Thanks. Wouldn't want to get on his bad side.

Sami: Yeah, right. Hmm. Coincidence? Maybe not. This could be something that Jack and I definitely need to know about. I have to find out where Brandon and Colin are going, and who they're going with.

Brenda: Dr. Wesley, your secretary called. The hospital's chief legal counsel is waiting in your office.

Craig: All right. Thanks. Um, you'll call me, right?

Colin: As soon as Chloe's blood-work comes back.

Craig: Thanks.

Brady: Thank you. I just had to get him for you. I don't know why.

Chloe: Well, you'd better figure out something soon, Brady, or I'll think it's because he reminded you of me.

Brady: Okay, okay. I couldn't resist getting him for you because... Well, the truth is that I kept picturing your smile when you saw him, and this is going to sound cliché, but it's true. Your smile just brightens my day. It makes me happy.

Lucas: Take Will and leave Salem. I don't know. I don't know if I could do that to him.

Kate: What, you wouldn't want to give him a better life than he has now?

Lucas: It's not that, Mom. He's going to miss his mother.

Kate: Oh, really? Well, he'd be better off without her.

Lucas: No. No, he wouldn't. You know, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to sink to Sami's level. I want him to respect me. I want him to know that I'm fair.

Kate: You know something, Lucas? That is very noble, but while you're out there trying to get respect, Sami's going to be doing everything she possible can to take will away from you.

Lucas: She won't. She won't. Not again. Hey, I'm not going to let that happen.

Abe: Lexie knew about that baby switch. You know, I'm convinced of that. But to sue the hospital -- it just doesn't make any sense.

Celeste: What are we going to do? How are we going to protect her?

Jennifer: This is so great. Zach, I am so excited to be your godmother. Do you know that? Oh, does this mean I get to buy him lots of things? I mean, I would no matter what, but I feel like I --

Hope: Yeah, I know you would, but please don't do that, because he has so much stuff already. He doesn't need any more.

Bo: Jen, Jen, did you know that Kimberly and Melissa are coming to the christening?

Jennifer: You are kidding.

Bo: Mnh-mnh.

Jennifer: This is going to be the most incredible day for the Bradys. Do you know that, Zach? Well, wait a minute. Who's going to be this baby's godfather? I know. It's going to be Roman.

Bo: No, it's not Roman. We've -- we've asked Abe to be the godfather.

Lexie: Oh, no. I will never let that happen. Never.
