Brandon: A chocolate brownie? This is the craving you had when I was kissing you in the park?

Jennifer: What did you think it was?

Brandon: Well, a guy can dream, can't he?

Jennifer: Well, let me just tell you, if you have never had one of Caroline's world-famous triple chocolate brownies, you have not lived.

Brandon: Mmm. And the frosting on the cake is that Jack is nowhere in sight. Of course, he could be hiding behind the bar.

Jennifer: Come on, let's go get a table. I hope not. Hey, Caroline, how are you?

Caroline: Oh, hi, Jennifer. Hi, how you doing?

Jennifer: Good. Good to see you.

Caroline: Hi, Brandon.

Brandon: Hi.

Colin: Hey. Hope you can make it on such short notice.

John: I got to stop Lexie. I got to -- I got to stop DiMera.

Marlena: John?

John: I got to stop DiMera.

Marlena: John...

John: Stop DiMera.

Marlena: You're having a dream. John --

John: Stop DiMera. Stop it, damn it, stop it! Stop it!

Marlena: John, it's -- it's me. It's me. You're having a dream. It's over now.

John: No. No. It's never gonna be over as long as there is still a DiMera standing. And it's up to me to bring them down, every last one of them.

[Doorbell rings]

Celeste: Ah, Abraham.

Abe: Celeste. I-I'd like to talk to Lexie.

Celeste: I thought you saw her earlier.

Abe: I didn't like the way we left things.

Celeste: Oh. Come in.

Abe: So how is she? Celeste?

Celeste: It's, um, it's bad, Abraham -- very bad.

Lexie: Mama's gonna have everything ready for you when you come back, Isaac. It won't be long now. I'll be holding you and singing to you just like before.

Bo: Here you go.

Hope: All right, sweetheart...

Bo: Hey.

Hope: There you go.

Bo: Are you hungry? Yeah, it's a heart.

Hope: Grandma Julie made you an all-American PBJ.

Bo: Mmm.

Hope: Mmm. Oh, Bo, I'm so happy that we took this trip to Paris. It changed everything.

Bo: Well, we don't know for sure -- not yet, anyway.

Hope: Well, I do. I know in my heart. Bo, my dream was telling me to remember that you and I had loved one another and made love, even when Stefano had control of our minds. This little sweetheart over here -- he's ours.

Bo: I want that to be true more than anything, but we got to be prepared for a letdown.

Julie: What? What's this about a letdown?

Doug: Yes, now is there something about Isaac that we should know?

Hope: Yes. Yes, there is.

John: Yes, there is.

Marlena: John, Stefano is gone. Lexie is the only DiMera remaining, and it's over. She's lost.

John: She's here in Salem. And wherever there is a DiMera, their evil and power is a threat. And it's got to end right now, and I'm not just talking about Stefano. I'm talking about wiping out his whole legacy.

Marlena: Why?

John: Bec-- because I got to make up for all the hell I put people through.

Marlena: I know you worry about what you did when you don't remember it. Stefano wanted you to kill for him, but there's no reason to believe that you did.

John: Yes, there is.

Lexie: Mom, I have things to do!

Celeste: This won't take long, darling, and then I will help you.

Lexie: I don't want your help. I don't want to go for a walk, and I don't want anything to eat, okay? And I definitely don't want to take any more abuse from you, Abe. Whose side are you on, anyway, Mom?

Abe: Lexie, you can't keep running. Now don't you know by now it won't work?

Lexie: Neither will making threats.

Abe: I'm here to help you.

Lexie: I don't need your kind of help, Abe.

Abe: Celeste is right. You don't know what's real and what's not anymore.

Lexie: What have you been telling him?

Celeste: That I am frightened for you, darling. I hear you pacing and talking to yourself at night.

Lexie: I am not talking to myself!

Celeste: Then who are you talking to? You are the only one upstairs at night, except for me.

Lexie: It's none of your business.

Lexie: This interrogation is over, Commander Carver, unless you're planning on reading me my rights again.

Abe: Don't do this to us, Lexie.

Lexie: There is no "us" anymore, Abe. And in case you have any doubts about that, here's something that you can take away with you from Isaac and me. Now get out!

Hope: Anyway --

Bo: Marlena told us that it's important that Isaac has different names for us -- you know, different from the ones that he used for the Carvers.

Hope: Anyway, we didn't want to confuse him by changing his name too much, so we were thinking of calling Isaac Zach.

Bo: Zach Brady.

Doug: Gets my vote.

Julie: Oh, mine too.

Bo: Well, then it's a keeper.

Hope: It's a keeper. It's unanimous then. Perfect.

Doug: Okay, to Zach Brady.

Hope: To Zach Brady.

Doug: New name, new life.

Julie: We love you, and we're so glad you're finally home.

Hope: Thank you.

Julie: Okay, you two, what's really going on?

Hope: We just told you.

Julie: Victor Kiriakis lends us this wonderful airplane so we can all fly off to Paris to find out who the baby's biological father is. And we get to Paris. And we are there such a short amount of time, I barely get over my jet lag when you announce it's time to go home. Therefore, you must have learned something. What is it? Do you finally know who this baby's father is?

Colin: I couldn't wait to see you again.

Nicole: Nice try.

Colin: Why is that so hard to believe? You're a beautiful, fascinating woman.

Nicole: Well, since you put it that way, I'll play along.

Caroline: Here you go. Muffin, some coffee. Anything else?

Bart: I'll let you know, sweetheart.

Caroline: Right.

Brandon: Mmm.

Jennifer: I am really enjoying our time alone like this. And, you know, about the weekend -- I, uh... we're not alone after all.

Brandon: Jack?

Jennifer: Oh, no, the ball is in your court this time.

Brandon: We could make a run for it.

Jennifer: [Laughs]

Colin: No place in town has better clam chowder than the Brady Pub.

Nicole: Now I know why you wanted to meet here, and it ain't the clam chowder.

[Pager beeps]

Jennifer: Oh. Oh, it's the office. And you know what? I don't have my cell phone. Will you excuse me? I'm going to have to use the phone at the bar.

Brandon: Okay. Can't guarantee your brownie will be here when you get back.

Jennifer: Don't you dare. Excuse me.

Brandon: Okay.

Sami: [Clears throat] Hey, Brandon. Any more of that brownie, you'll have to put in a couple extra hours at the gym.

Brandon: In case you haven't noticed, that seat is taken.

Nicole: Well, well, well. If it isn't miss down-and-out trying to make another comeback.

Sami: What the hell are you talking about, Nicole?

Nicole: Oh, you mean you haven't told my brother yet? Well, don't worry. I told him all about Victor's little get-together at his office the other night. Real moment of truth, right, Sami? Victor nailed you. He finally exposed you for the rotten schemer you are, and I don't know when I've had such a fun night.

Hope: All right, yes, we did. We found out some things in Paris sooner than we thought we would.

Julie: I knew it!

Bo: Right now all we have are leads, and as we all know, even the best lead is meaningless unless it checks out. So until we know for sure, we're not saying anything to anybody.

Hope: It won't be that long, okay? I promise.

Julie: Oh, looks like someone's getting a little sleepy. Time for his nappy-poo.

Hope: Sweetie, I wish you had eaten more of your sandwich.

Julie: Maybe grandma can tempt him with some luscious sliced banana. How's that sound?

Bo: There you go.

Caroline: Oh, honey, your mama's here. See? There's your mommy -- right there. Can you say "mommy"? "Mommy"? Aw, honey, it's all right.

Hope: He still misses Lexie. You know, we can change his name all we want to, but... Lexie's mama to him, not me. Excuse me.

Bo: Whatever Lexiss done, she and Abe -- well, they devoted their lives to that little boy in there. Any child who's been loved like that will open their heart to love again -- our love.

Doug: Well, Zach seems to have settled down. He even let me do a few bars of "Take me out to the ball game."

Hope: Thanks, Daddy.

Doug: And I just called home and let Alice and Shawn-Douglas know we're on our way back.

Bo: Could you do me a favor, call my folks, too?

Doug: Absolutely.

Hope: No, wait, Bo, you call. They'll want to hear from you.

Bo: Well, I'll see them soon enough.

Bo: I'm concerned about her. It would be nice if Zach called her "mommy." And it would be nice to know truth so we can be the family we were meant to be.

Doug: So what are you thinking?

Bo: I'm going to make sure she gets what she needs.

Abe: Lexie, you know, why do you keep pushing away the people that are trying to help you? Lexie, don't you realize that if you don't get Cameron Reese to withdraw that guilty plea, you could be facing a prison sentence.

Lexie: I don't care!

Celeste: Darling, please, listen to him.

Lexie: It doesn't matter, Mom. Nothing matters without Isaac.

Celeste: Abraham, she's been like this ever since she was brought home.

Lexie: [Sniffling]

Abe: Lexie, parents should grieve together. We both lost a son. You know, our home is -- it's so empty without him, without you.

Rolf: Eliana thought you might like some tea, Alexandra.

Abe: Get out!

Rolf: I apologize for the interruption.

Lexie: It's all right, Rolf.

Abe: Nothing he does is all right.

Rolf: If there is a problem, Commander Carver --

Abe: Yes, Rolf, you are the problem. You set my wife up! You came up with some scheme with Cameron Reese to make Lexie panic, take the baby, and run.

Rolf: I assure you my only interest is in protecting Alexandra.

Abe: You screwed up, Rolf. If Stefano finds out that you failed his daughter, you better get yourself a new identity, or they're going to find you belly-up in some landfill.

Lexie: You stop talking about my Father like that! Your scare tactics won't work on Rolf. They won't work on me, either.

Abe: Lexie, for your own good, get away from this house. You know, the longer you're in Stefanos world, the harder it is to get out, to be who you were before they made you one of them.

Lexie: No matter what happens, Abe, I'm proud to be a DiMera.

Celeste: Abe, wait.

John: The dream I had just brought it all back -- the helplessness I felt under DiMera's control. My body, my will had been broken. No thoughts of my own, just those damn phrases repeating over and over and over again. [Panting] "To question is to doubt." To question is to doubt. "To doubt is to be disloyal." To doubt is to be disloyal. "Death before disloyalty death before disloyalty. "Death before disloyalty."

Marlena: John. John.

John: Everything that I was, everything that I knew was stripped away. DiMera got exactly what he wanted -- he got me. Just an instrument of his will.

Marlena: Losing the sense of yourself can be very frightening. But that was a nightmare. It was not real.

John: This was real.

Marlena: All right, then what else? What is it you're not telling me?

[Telephone rings]

Marlena: Let it ring. [Ring]

John: Could be Belle. John Black.

Bo: Hey, John, it's Bo. Look, man, I need your help.

John: Yeah, I'll take care of it. No problem.

Bo: Thanks. I'll call you again when we land.

John: Oh, Bo, one more thing. I don't want you to worry Hope, but just keep your eyes open.

Bo: Is Lexie making threats?

John: No.

Bo: Hey, if you know something, tell me.

John: Well, at this point, let's just say it's -- it's based on a feeling from past history. We're not out of the woods yet.

Bo: You think DiMera's going to make a move?

John: Could be. Or someone connected to him. Just don't trust anyone.

Bo: All right. I'll make sure Hope and the baby are never alone.

John: Watch your back, too.

Marlena: What's going on?

John: Just a precaution. They don't need to be hurt again.

Marlena: Don't play games with me, John. I can tell you're scared. It's not just that dream. What is it?

Bo: Hey, mommy, how you doing?

Hope: Ah, much better now that my two guys are back. Oh, sweetheart, we love you so much. I -- I'm sorry about before.

Bo: Ah, that's okay.

Hope: No, not really. I mean, it doesn't help anyone if I get upset and fall apart and --

Bo: I'll make you a deal. One whole day, you get to be cranky.

Hope: What?

Bo: Yeah. And then, you know, who knows that? Things do have a way of working out.

[Isaac babbles]

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: What are you up to?

Bo: You do have a suspicious mind.

Hope: Mm.

Bo: Mm.

Shawn: So, you're all on your way home, are you, huh?

Caroline: Bo and Hope and the baby, too?

Shawn: Oh, yeah. They're all together. They're calling from the plane.

Julie: So tell me about your idea.

Shawn: Well, it's just we -- you know, we think that a christening would be a wonderful way to welcome that little boy into the family. Huh?

Julie: Oh, we think so, too. It's perfect. They want to have a christening.

Doug: Hasn't Zach already been christened?

Julie: It's perfect.

Caroline: Tell them we'll start making arrangements at the church now.

Shawn: Oh, yeah, right.

Bart: [Thinking] Mama Mia. Wait till the boss hears this. There's no way he's putting the "amen" on these developments.

Rolf: Calm yourself, Alexandra. I told you, I can return him to you before the Brady's have any idea what hit them.

Lexie: You must think I'm as crazy as you are!

Rolf: A few drops of a harmless potion, and Isaac will only appear to have passed away. The coroner will be paid off. Isaac will be buried --

Lexie: Stop it! You are not to risk my son's life in any way.

Rolf: Do you want him back or not?

Lexie: I'll get him back... without your services. This time I'm going to do it my way.

Rolf: Which is? Don't you dare question me!

Lexie: Here is a list of clothes and toys that I've ordered for Isaac. Pick them up and see that they're put in his nursery. Isaac will be home sooner than you think.

Rolf: And how exactly is this miracle going to happen?

Lexie: Listen, if I say my son is coming home, don't you dare question me! I'm a DiMera, remember? It'll happen.

Rolf: I may have to use that potion on more than one member of this family.

[Telephone rings]

Rolf: DiMera residence.

Bart: It's me, Rolfsky. Bo and Hope are on their way back with the kid, and the in-laws are fixing to throw a christening for the little guy.

Rolf: A christening, eh? Perfect.

Bart: Maybe you didn't hear me right.

Rolf: And when is this event to be held?

Bart: Beats me.

Rolf: Well, find out, you idiot, and get back to me! I've arrangements to make! We're going forward with my plan, Alexandra. First, I must put a stop to your plan, whatever it might be.

Jennifer: Thank you. Okay -- Colin.

Colin: Hmm. This is a surprise.

Jennifer: Is it?

Colin: Oh, you don't think I followed you here? Maybe you're hoping I did.

Jennifer: Get over yourself, doctor.

Jennifer: Hey, room for one more?

Brandon: They were just leaving.

Sami: You know, I could get my order and join you guys.

Jennifer: Oh, no thank you.

Nicole: All right, Jennifer! Hey, you two have a good time. Excuse me.

Brandon: Goodbye, Samantha.

Brandon: Your timing couldn't have been better. Those two were about to come to blows.

Caroline: Sami? What's wrong? Oh. I think I know what your problem is. Don't worry. I know how to solve it.

Lexie: [Humming lullaby] [Knock on door]

Rolf: I am sorry to disturb you, Alexandra. Something has happened you need to know. It's about your son.

Lexie: [Stops humming] What about him?

Rolf: Hope and Bo are returning from Paris with him. The Brady's are planning a christening to give Isaac a new name.

Lexie: Oh, God.

Rolf: I warned you, Alexandra. Hope and Bo are determined, relentless. You must act now, or you will lose your son forever.

Rolf: We have to administer that potion to Isaac soon, or he will be out of your reach. It will be too late. Did you hear me, Alexandra?

Lexie: Don't come any closer. You'll wake the baby.

Rolf: What? I-I-I...

Lexie: I'm going to take care of my son my way without any interference from you. I didn't get much sleep last night the way Isaac was fussing. My poor little boy. Yeah. Please. Just go.

Rolf: Yes. Yes, of course.

Rolf: If you need anything...

Lexie: Nothing, thanks.

Lexie: It's okay, sweetheart. Just sleep, dream. Mama's right here with you. Mm.

Rolf: Alexandra has slipped into never-never land. Well, perhaps it's just as well. It will enable me to handle things without any interference. The world as we know it is about to change once again, Alexandra. Only this time, I will be in control.

Doug: Hey, kids, I left my car at the airport. We can drive you to the house.

Bo: No. We, uh, we have to make a stop on the way home.

Julie: A stop? Would this stop have anything to do with what we were discussing earlier?

Hope: We might have some information about who Zach's father is -- possibly.

Bo: Are you ready?

Hope: Oh, you bet I'm ready.

Caroline: The best medicine is to throw yourself into something new, like the christening. Bo and Hope need all of our help to make Isaac -- Zach's christening -- you know, it's going to be a wonderful family day.

Sami: Oh, that's very sweet. You know what? I will think about it.

Caroline: Good.

Sami: Grandma, um, could I have my coat and my purse underneath the bar?

Caroline: Oh, yes. Oh, you're not rushing off without finishing your meal?

Sami: Oh, well, thank you very much, but, yeah, I have something I need to take care of. Love you.

Caroline: Okay, hon.

Sami: Oh, come on, pick up. Jack, it's me -- Sami. We've got a problem. An emergency.

Brandon: So, the only question is, how far away do we go this weekend? Your passport hasn't expired yet, has it?

Jennifer: Oh! I think somewhere close to home would make more sense.

Brandon: Okay. Your pick.

Jennifer: Well, uh, you know, there's always the Green Mountain Lodge. I heard that it is beautiful this time of year.

Brandon: Mm, and busy. We probably wouldn't be able to get two rooms.

Jennifer: Yeah, I know.

Nicole: Looks like we got rid of Sami.

Colin: That's a start.

Nicole: Should I take that as my cue to get lost?

Colin: No, I didn't mean you. Definitely not you.

Nicole: Then, what were you thinking?

Colin: How would you like to go away with me?

Marlena: What did you mean before when you said that Stefano was programming you to kill?

John: The dream was a warning -- a warning I can't ignore anymore.

Marlena: What kind of warning?

John: Losing my soul. What I could never admit, not even to myself, is that I surrendered to Stefano -- totally and completely. And when I did that I gave myself over to evil and I was lost. But you know, during that whole time, there were brief moments, no longer than a breath -- a heartbeat -- but in that instant, I could realize exactly what was happening to me. And with all my will, I made a vow to myself that if there ever came a day when I was my own self again and I was free of that evil, I would not rest until I wiped out that hideous power!

John: And when it came to be that I was free of Stefano, I had -- I blocked out that other time and that vow I made to myself, but the dream I just had brought it all back, showing me I can't ignore that anymore. Now that you and the kids are in my life, it is more important than ever that I keep that promise to myself. You understand that, don't you?

Marlena: Yes, I do. And I'm begging you not to do it.

John: I have to.

Bo: Do you need any more information?

Woman: No. I will tell the doctor you're here.

Hope: Thank you. Oh, Brady... I already know that Zach came into this world because we love each other so much. But when it comes down to microscopes and DNA --

Bo: Hey, you just say the word. We're out of here.

Hope: Are you serious?

Bo: Yeah. No test is going to make me love this little guy any more than I do now. He's ours, no matter what happens today.

Hope: You are the most amazing man.

Isaac: [Babbles]

Hope: He agrees.

Bo: Yes, he does. So, do we go, or do we stay?

Hope: We're staying. Bo, we need to find out the truth... for our son's sake.

Woman: Mr. Brady? You can come in now.

Bo: Here we go.

Bo: [Thinking] For her sake, let me be this little boy's father.

Jennifer: Oh, well, the christening is just such a lovely idea for the baby.

Shawn: Ah, it's -- it's a way of asking the Lord's blessing for this child, you know, now that he's been returned to his true family.

Jennifer: Oh, will you excuse me for one second?

Shawn: Well, sure, sure.

Jennifer: Thanks.

Shawn: And he'll be getting a new name, too, you know. Zach Brady. Ha ha. Now, listen, you are invited, so don't forget.

Brandon: Well, thank you very much.

Shawn: All right.

Jennifer: Thanks. Okay. You're thinking about Lexie, aren't you?

Brandon: Yeah. I'm afraid of what'll happen to her without that little boy. He was everything to her.

Jennifer: You know, she's very lucky that she has you in her life.

Brandon: Well, it's your life that I'm interested in at the moment -- and this weekend.

Jennifer: Oh, you know what? Well, now we're going to have to change it to the weekend after next because of the christening.

Brandon: Ah. Well, whenever it happens, it'll be worth the wait.

Jennifer: Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Brandon: Let's go.

Jennifer: Okay.

Nicole: Go away with you? What kind of girl do you take me for, doctor?

Colin: So, is that a yes?

Nicole: Depends. You going to tell me where you just went?

Jennifer: Ha ha.

Brandon: You know, we should play hooky more often.

Jennifer: Yeah, well, call me next time you get a craving for Caroline's triple chocolate brownies.

Sami: [Mocking Jennifer] Call me the next time you have a craving. Loser. You don't want to know what's going on, Jack. Jennifer's putting the moves on Brandon, big-time. We've got to split these two up before things go any further. Trust me, the time is now.

Colin: I went to get you some more coffee.

Nicole: You could've let the waitress do that.

Colin: It was quicker this way.

Nicole: And you could get a closer look at Jennifer.

Colin: What? No.

Nicole: All right, so whats with you two?

Colin: Well, as far as she's concerned, I'm evil incarnate.

Nicole: Are you?

Colin: Depends your definition of "evil."

Nicole: Sounds challenging. So... where did you want to go this weekend?

Colin: I was hoping the weekend after next.

Nicole: You getting cold feet already?

Colin: Not a chance.

Nicole: I'll think about it.

Colin: Well, why don't I go make a reservation while you're thinking about it?

Nicole: Whatever.

Colin: I'll be right back.

Nicole: [Thinking] One weekend with me, doctor, and you'll be asking, "Jennifer who?"

Lexie: [Humming lullaby]

Rolf: Don't be ridiculous, Bart. Stefano would never allow his grandchild to become a Brady.

Bart: Well, the big guy better move fast then. Because like it or not, Isaac Carver is going to be Zach Brady before you can say "Brady Bunch Reunion."

Rolf: Mark my words. That christening will be the day that the Phoenix rises from the ashes again. The DiMera power will be felt as never before. All the Brady's and their friends will be crushed, most of all by the loss of a son.

Bart: I thought Lexie was negative on the "bye-bye, Isaac" thing.

Rolf: Mm, suffice it to say, she is non compus mentus.

Bart: Say what?

Rolf: She won't be a problem anymore. Bo and Hope may have Stefanos grandson now, but his first official day as a Brady will also be his last. And will be there to see it, as Hope's precious child joins the heavenly chorus right before their very eyes.

Bo: Hey.

Hope: Hey, how'd it go?

Bo: Piece of cake. Waiting's the hard part.

Hope: Yeah, well, I don't know about you, but I'm a wreck.

Bo: Well, I got a cure for that.

Hope: Yeah?

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: Brady... we're at the doctors.

Bo: Oh, is that better?

Woman: Uh, Mr. Brady?

Bo: Well, hey. Hi.

Woman: Just pretend we're not here.

Bo: Okay.

Hope: He definitely has your ears, Brady.

Bo: Ya think?

Hope: What I think is that I am the luckiest woman in the world to have someone who loves me, who is as sensitive and caring and as crazy as you, Brady.

Bo: Well, that goes both ways. Let me get our little guy. Hey, you. Yeah.

Hope: [Thinking] Please, God, let him be Bos child.

Isaac: Daddy.

Hope: Hey, Zach.

Bo: There's mommy.

Hope: Hey, sweetie.

Isaac: Mama.

Hope: Yes.
