Nancy: Okay, Craig, I decree that you should be the sports car, and I will, as usual, be...

Craig: The puppy.

Nancy: The puppy.

Craig: You are certainly in a good mood tonight, sweetie.

Nancy: And why wouldn't I be? My daughter and I are actually getting along.

Craig: Hey, that's great.

Nancy: You know, sweetheart, I think this time it might last. I mean, I think Chloe and I actually had a breakthrough.

Chloe: S-u-g-a-r and sugar was his name oh could I be more bored?

Chloe: I guess I could call Philip.

Nancy: I want you to find someone that's nice and normal and dependable -- someone like Shawn Brady. Oh, Chloe, I could just see the two of you together.

Chloe: Well, don't see it. He's a very dear friend of mine who's in love with my best friend Belle who loves him, too.

Nancy: Honey, I just meant if it didn't last --

Chloe: It will last. But I think you're right, Nancy. I should stay away from Philip for now. And Brady, too. It's just too much for me, too much pressure... pressure... no. I'll let Philip call me. It's better to be bored than self-destructive. Right, sugar? The last thing I need right now is pressure. But I know what I do need, and I have you to thank for it.

Brady: Well, I'm going to go for a drive. I'll be home in time for dinner.

Belle: Wait, I thought you were going to go work out.

Brady: Well, I'll find time for it. You two need to talk. See ya.

Belle: Wow. You and Brady -- so much has changed. He's calling you Mom.

Marlena: I know. I feel so blessed to have him back in my life. I like being close to him.

Belle: At least something's going right.

Marlena: Look, that situation with you and Shawn and Jan -- you -- you just have to trust that there's some good reason that Shawn can't confide in you right now -- whatever it is.

Belle: Shawn is such a good person, Mom, and Jan is using him. Why can't he see that?

Mrs. Spears: No one uses my daughter and gets away with it.

Jan: Stop it! Shawn is the only person who has ever been good to me.

Mrs. Spears: He knocked you up. You want to score with every girl in town? Well, I got news for you, stud. This time, you picked one a little too young. I'm going to have you arrested for statutory rape.

Jan: No, Mom, what are you doing? Mom. Mom! Stop! No, Mom! Mom, who are you calling?

Operator: 911.

Mrs. Spears: Yes, I'd like to report a rape.

Jan: No, no! Mom, stop! Give me the phone!

Mrs. Spears: Give me the phone, Jan!

Jan: No! Stop!

Operator: Miss, is there a problem?

Jan: Shawn didn't do anything wrong! It's my fault I'm pregnant.

Mrs. Spears: It takes two!

Lucas: [Moaning] Will... Will...

Kate: Sweetie, sweetie, Will's going to be here soon. And from now on, you're going to see him every day. I promise.

Roman: Careful. You could be doing more harm than good.

Kate: And I told you if Sami tried to fight me, she'll lose. And you'll lose, too, if you try to help her.

Roman: Everybody loses when you and Sami lock horns, Kate.

Kate: This time, it's different. Austin is going to convince Sami to give in.

Roman: My daughter spent years dreaming about being happily married to your son. If this is some kind of stunt to ruin that dream, I guarantee you, you'll regret it.

Sami: I thought you'd gone.

Austin: I'm not going to leave things like this.

Sami: Well, I have to get Will's dinner ready.

Austin: I got a great idea. Why don't I take us all out to dinner?

Sami: Why don't you call me when you've gotten rid of your family?

Austin: You're my family.

Sami: You could've fooled me.

Austin: Look, I don't like the way my mother is trying to force my hand in this, either, Sami.

Sami: But you're going to make nice and let her get away with it.

Austin: Damn it, Sami, can't you give me a chance to come up with an alternative?

Sami: You don't want an alternative, Austin! You want to let Lucas have your house and your bed, and you'll sleep on the floor like an obedient watchdog if that's what Kate wants. Well, I'm not going to let you sacrifice my son because you won't stand up to her. Granny Kate is not going to steamroll will the way she does you. I have never been more disappointed or disgusted with anyone in my entire life!

Austin: How screwed up are you? You're disgusted because I love your son.

Sami: Kate and Lucas are leaving your apartment, and that is final.

Austin: The only thing my mom wants is access to Will, which would help Lucas recover.

Sami: You're the one in a coma, Austin, if you really believe that. When are you going to wake up and realize that Kate wants to ruin my life?

Belle: Mom, I really need your advice.

Marlena: All right. How can I help?

Belle: Well, you always tell me to think things through rationally. So, here we go. Fact number one -- Shawn loves me.

Marlena: Mm, yes, and you love him. That's very clear.

Belle: Obviously too clear, because you think I'm overboard about him.

Marlena: No, no, I don't want you to become desperate and think that you can't go on without him. That would concern me.

Belle: Okay, I got it. Let's drop that.

Marlena: You brought it up.

Belle: No, I know, I just want to go back to the original discussion.

Marlena: Okay, I think we were on fact number two.

Belle: Fact number two -- Shawn is definitely keeping secrets from me.

Marlena: About Jan.

Belle: Fact number three -- I'm completely freaking out about fact number two. When Shawn and I are together, he's usually completely there.

Marlena: There?

Belle: Well, present and attentive, but now it seems like he took this trip to another planet and I can't reach him.

Marlena: And you want directions.

Belle: Do you have any?

Marlena: I am so glad we can have a conversation about your relationship with Shawn.

Belle: Mom, can we please not get mushy? I want the phone to ring too much right now to get mushy.

Marlena: Oh, of course. Sure. We'll, uh, we'll get right to it. Sit yourself down. And let's start with, uh, fact number one. Boys and girls react to stress differently. Boys get quiet, and they become more difficult to communicate with.

Belle: That's Shawn.

Marlena: Yes. Fact number two. If Shawn loves you, he will eventually tell you the truth.

Belle: Yeah, but how long is "eventually," because look how long it took dad to tell you --

Marlena: Now, what happened between John and Hope is very different.

Belle: Mom, but still -- I'm sorry. It was very insensitive of me to bring this up again.

Marlena: No. No. I want you to be honest and open about this. You were about to say that although we know that John is not the father of Hope's child, he was unfaithful, and he was not forthcoming right away.

Marlena: Honey, the truth is, that he was trying to protect his family. I mean, he was a victim. He didn't want that to happen. It was out of his control.

Belle: I know that now.

Marlena: So maybe Shawn is just trying to protect you.

Belle: I don't want to be protected. What is worse than being completely shut out?

Marlena: Honey, do you think that Shawn and Jan are romantically involved?

Belle: No way. Shawn would never betray me like that.

Marlena: Well, I'm glad to hear you sounding so confident about that.

Belle: I am confident. You don't sound confident.

Marlena: It doesn't matter how I feel about it. What matters is how you feel about it. But as long as we're talking about this, I know that you and Shawn have survived a lot of difficulties, and you will continue doing that, but I would like to say that I'm -- I'm very pleased to see that you have decided to wait, not to carry a relationship any further than it is right now.

Belle: Sexually, you mean.

Marlena: Yes, uh, I-I mean that.

Belle: Then why didn't you just say it?

Marlena: Because you knew what I meant.

Belle: Yes, but, Mom, when you avoid using that word, it makes me think that you're obsessing.

Marlena: No, I don't see the logic in that.

Belle: Because when you're being so careful, I know in the back of your mind you're actually wondering when it is going to happen. And it's not going to happen, by the way.

Marlena: I trust you.

Belle: I told you, Mom, I love Shawn. And we are both mature enough to make the right decision. We're not going to risk my getting pregnant, and we're certainly not going to ruin our lives that way.

Jan: Mom, come on!

Mrs. Spears: Give me the phone, Jan.

Jan: No! I'm sorry. Everything's fine. It -- it was a false alarm.

Operator: I'm sending the police to your location.

Jan: No, no, no, no. You really don't need to do that. Everything's fine. I-I am sorry. Just please, please, please don't do that.

Shawn D.: Look, I know this is a surprise. But can we just calm down and talk?

Mrs. Spears: You think you're so smart, don't you? You've got my daughter so hooked on you that no matter what you do, she's going to try to protect you.

Shawn D.: That's not what happened.

Mrs. Spears: Look, just save it for the police. Because when they arrive, I'm going to have them drag you off to jail by that pretty little earring and make sure you stay there for a long time.

Kate: This isn't a stunt, Roman.

Roman: Why didn't you call somebody before you brought Lucas here? Why didn't you warn Sami and Austin?

Kate: Why are you so skeptical? I thought the Brady’s were all about family and togetherness.

Roman: Because I'm looking after Will. You and Sami have been battling each other for years. Will keeps getting caught in the crossfire.

Kate: I'm doing this for Will because he wants to be with his father.

Roman: I'm sure he does.

Kate: Look at my son. I had almost lost all hope, and then one visit with Will and everything's changed. He said Will's name, he recognized me, he recognized Austin.

Roman: And that is great.

Kate: You tell me something. If our situations were reversed, and it was Sami lying there in that bed, you tell me that you wouldn't do everything in your power to help your child.

Austin: Sami, not everything is about you.

Sami: When this gets to your mother, my God, I can't wa--

Austin: My mother wants Lucas to get better, and if you think that's an attack on you, then you really need --

Sami: She wants to take my son away from me, Austin, and if Lucas recovers, he's going to help her. I mean, they'll probably use --

Austin: Will you stop being so paranoid, please?

Sami: How can you say that after all the terrible things they've done to me?

Austin: Look, they're Will's family, okay? And, you know, Sami, if you hadn't pulled all the crap that you did after will was born, then maybe you and my mother wouldn't doubt each other's motives all the time.

Sami: Now you're going to blame me?

Austin: Damn it, Sami, your son's future hangs in the balance, and you can't even see it.

Sami: Don't you lecture me about my son, Austin.

Austin: Hate Lucas, hate my mother, do whatever you want to do, okay, but that little boy in there -- he loves all of you. And there needs to be somebody here putting him first.

Sami: That's what I'm doing!

Austin: No, you're being selfish. You're denying him the chance to know his father because of your past mistakes.

Sami: My mistakes? How about Lucas, huh? He almost killed Will. What was that, just a little harmless --

Austin: You know exactly what I'm talking about, Sami.

Sami: No, Austin, why don't you tell me why you're so stuck on Will knowing Lucas, huh? Maybe it's because little Austin never really got to know his father, huh? Huh? Maybe this is really all about you, and you're using my son to get what you want.

Austin: You know what? I think that's your specialty, Sami. Boy, I thought you'd changed.

Belle: You are so afraid to give yourself to someone totally and completely. Chloe. I've seen the two of you together. You can deny it all you want, but I know you're crazy about her.

Brady: Belle doesn't know what she's talking about. You know, it's incredible the excuses you can offer.

Chloe: Excuses? What are you talking about?

Brady: Oh, admit it, you can't stay away from me. I don't blame you. I am irresistible.

Chloe: You know what? You're right, Brady. I just can't resist doing this.

Brady: [Choking]

Chloe: Ha ha ha ha!

Brady: All right, all right, all right. You can knock it off now. Thank you.

Chloe: Okay, but I'm going to get you.

Brady: Not if I get you first!

Chloe: No! No, you don't! Ha ha ha ha! No! I don't know what happens to me sometimes. I just feel like this black cloud comes over me, and all I want to do is go into hiding.

Brady: Well, every black cloud needs a silver lining.

Chloe: And I suppose that's you?

Brady: Yes, it is. 'Cause I'm always good for a laugh.

Chloe: When you're not being a pain.

Brady: What? Warm-hearted, fun-loving Brady Black -- me? No.

Chloe: I'll give you fun-loving. [Giggles]

Brady: Cheap shot. That's not fair, Chloe. Let's see here.

Chloe: Aah! Ha ha ha ha! Missed.

Brady: Well, not... this time.

Chloe: Come here. [Giggling] Aah!

Brady: All right, stop cruising, Brady. Let's pick a direction and let's take it.

Chloe: Ice cream. That's always a better option than boys.

[Sugar barks]

Chloe: Arf? What is it, sugar? Ooh. You seem surprised by my independence and initiative. Wha-- what's that? Yeah, that's true. If I do go downstairs, I'll have to deal with Nancy and Craig. But maybe I'll surprise them, too.

Craig: So, tell me about this little breakthrough you had with Chloe, Nance.

Nancy: Well, you know how she pushed us away when she was sick?

Craig: She hates being fussed over.

Nancy: True, but, um, I finally realized why.

Craig: Why?

Nancy: Craig, when I was talking to her, I understood. She's just not used to being loved.

Chloe: I'm just not used to someone really caring. It's always been my problem with you.

Nancy: Wait, are you trying to tell me that you've really never had anyone truly care for you? Your adoptive parents -- they must've been really cold. Is that why you have so much trouble with our relationship, accepting a mother's love?

Craig: No wonder you're excited. She really -- she really opened up to you.

Nancy: Sweetie, it gives me hope that someday we could really be close, like a real mother and daughter.

Craig: Hey. Let me tell you something. You are a real mother and daughter. Don't you forget it.

Nancy: I love you. Sweetheart, are -- are you okay?

Chloe: I'm fine. Stop looking at me like I'm sick. I had a nosebleed, that's all.

Craig: Who's looking at you? We're not looking at you. No one's looking at you. What are you doing?

Chloe: I came down to get some ice cream. You guys want some?

Craig: Oh! Oh, do we still have mocha chip? I would love some mocha chip!

Chloe: That was the plan.

Craig: Count me in.

Chloe: Okay, Nancy?

Nancy: Yes, I'd love some. Thank you.

Chloe: Okay.

Nancy: Chloe, we were just going to play some monopoly. Would -- would you like to join us?

Craig: Yeah.

Chloe: Only if I can be the puppy.

Nancy: Absolutely.

Craig: Well, well, well. Looks like you certainly did have a little breakthrough there.

Nancy: All right, I guess I can be the thimble.

Craig: Nothing wrong with being the thimble. Thimbles are good. [ Doorbell rings]

Nancy: I'll get it, I'll get it.

Craig: Why can't I get the door?

Nancy: Oh. It's you.

Brady: Hi, Mrs. Wesley.

Nancy: Brady.

Brady: Is Chloe home?

Nancy: Now is not a good time, Brady.

Brady: Why, is something wrong with Chloe? What's going on?

Nancy: No, no, she's fine, but we just started a game of monopoly, and we --

Chloe: Maybe Brady would like to play, too. What do you say, Brady? Up for a high-stakes game of monopoly?

Brady: Sure. Why not?

Brady: Hey, Dr. Wesley.

Craig: Hey, Brady.

Brady: No way. It can't be. It can't be. Let me see... it is. It's mocha chip. It's my favorite.

Nancy: Chloe, how did you know to bring Brady a dish of ice cream?

Chloe: I saw him from the kitchen window.

Brady: And you were just so sure I was going to come in and play with you, weren't you?

Chloe: I think I know you pretty well by now, mocha chip man.

Marlena: All right then. Okay, well, since you are so wise and don't need my advice, I'll just say I'm so proud of you for thinking through this relationship with Shawn and -- and respecting each other and being so mature. He is, too.

Belle: But you still don't believe we're going to end up together.

Marlena: No, I didn't say that. I think that whatever's going to happen will happen. I just don't want you being hurt.

Belle: And you're assuming Shawn is going to hurt me.

Marlena: No, I think you're young and so there's no guarantee.

Belle: I'm starting to hate this conversation, Mom.

Marlena: I hate it, too. I am so done with it. I want to say one more thing, though. I'm just glad that since you are emotionally involved with Shawn, you've decided not to get physically involved. You know, I saw that when I was in high school. I saw it in my office a lot. I've seen young girls having sex too soon, getting hurt, and getting pregnant.

Belle: I'm not one of those girls, Mom.

Marlena: I know that. And I want you to experience all the joys of your young life.

Mrs. Spears: Oh, I remember punks like you when I was in school, preying on all the easy girls.

Jan: Mom, you can't have Shawn arrested. We're both teenagers, and I consented.

Mrs. Spears: Jan, this boy took advantage of you.

Jan: No! It wasn't -- he didn't rape me. Look, it's my fault I'm pregnant, okay? My fault!

Shawn D.: You okay?

Jan: Yeah. You okay?

Mrs. Spears: Why? Why did both of you have to ruin your futures like this? Well, I'm not going to let this happen. You are not having this baby.

Jan: Mom --

Mrs. Spears: No, we'll get rid of it. No one has to know.

Shawn D.: People already do know.

Mrs. Spears: What?

Shawn D.: I told my parents. They weren't happy, but they understand the choice we've made.

Mrs. Spears: What choice is that?

Shawn D.: Jan's already made her decision, Mrs. Spears. She's not having an abortion. She's going to have this baby.

Roman: All right, Kate, yeah, you're right. I would do anything for my kids, but I don't think that --

Kate: I knew -- I knew that you would understand that, because, Roman, that's what we share. We understand the importance of family, one generation -- one generation guiding the next.

Roman: I would like to see our families at peace.

Kate: Well, they will be at peace as long as Lucas gets what he deserves -- a chance to know his son. We would have years of happiness for our grandchildren, for their grandchildren. All of that's possible. Roman, it's possible as long as Sami stays out of the way.

Sami: That's not fair, Austin. I have changed.

Austin: It's just sometimes, Sami, when you get mad, it's all of a sudden the old Sami standing before me, the one that lied to me about Will being my son.

Sami: I thought you had forgiven me for that.

Austin: I did, you know, but that's when I got to know the real Sami, or what at least I hope is the real Sami.

Sami: I am. She is.

Austin: Well, Lucas and my mother never really got that chance.

Sami: Because I don't care if they forgive me.

Austin: Well, you should, and you should forgive them.

Sami: Are you kidding me right now?

Austin: I just don't see how we can continue like this, Sami.

Sami: She framed me for murder, Austin!

Austin: Yeah, and you faked amnesia so I wouldn't marry Carrie, but don't you see? None of that really matters when you're looking at Will's future. What's going to happen when he grows up? What are we going to tell him?

Sami: Nothing. He never has to know about --

Austin: That doesn't mean he's not going to find out. Then what's going to happen? I mean, what are the chances he's going to understand? And all the people in his life, all the people that he's loved, they're going to start looking like, you know...

Sami: The enemy. I'll lose him.

Austin: You know, I just don't see how we could be a family unless Will can have his father in his life.

Sami: Lucas is a drunk. He almost killed Will. He's a terrible father.

Austin: He loves his son with all of his heart, and we just have to have faith. Okay? Just -- he'll learn from his mistakes just like you did. Sami, you have done a lot of things that you're not proud of. You've hurt people. You have been forgiven. Now it's time for you to forgive. And unless you do that, well, we're going to have some serious problems.

Sami: What are you saying, Austin? That if I don't let Will see Lucas, you're not going to marry me?

Brady: Whoa, nine?

Craig: No, no.

Brady: Nine? [All laughing]

Brady: Whoo! No!

Craig: Yes, she got it.

Nancy: That gives Chloe a second monopoly.

Chloe: Um, Brady, do you have a monopoly?

Craig: Do you?

Brady: Rub it in.

Chloe: [Laughs] Okay, I'll take mercy on you. I will give you Baltic Avenue for your St. James place.

Craig: And that will give you a monopoly, Brady.

Brady: Yes, it would. However, that would give Chloe two major monopolies in a row. I'm not falling for that.

Chloe: Fine. You'll give in sooner or later.

Nancy: Sooner or later.

Craig: Sooner or later?

Nancy: Ha ha ha.

Craig: Uh-huh.

Brady: No. [All gasping]

Chloe: Your turn.

Brady: There you go. [All groaning]

Craig: Oh, six! I don't think that's a good number. [Laughter]

Brady: No! No!

Chloe: Pay up, Brady!

Brady: All right, Leona Helmsley Trump.

Craig: Ha ha ha.

Brady: Do I have enough money here? Yes, there we go -- 2,000 big ones.

Chloe: Oh, thank you. You know what? Trade me your St. James place for Baltic Avenue. It's your only hope, Brady.

Brady: I don't think so. That's like Faust making a deal with the devil.

Craig: Faust!

Chloe: And you criticize my singing?

Craig: Hey, I have had a lot of ice cream. It doesn't mix very well with the throat.

Chloe: Right. Great excuse.

Nancy: It's all right, sweetheart. I love your singing voice.

Craig: Why, thank you, sweetie.

Nancy: Besides, Brady's really no judge. He thinks Chloe couldn't make a professional singer.

Brady: What? I never said that!

Chloe: Nancy, you must have misunderstood. Brady just wants me to be the best I can be.

Brady: Have you been ragging on me to your parents, Chloe?

Nancy: Chloe was very upset, Brady, by what you said.

Craig: Nancy.

Chloe: Nancy, I can speak for myself.

Nancy: Really? Can you sing for yourself?

Craig: Nancy, sweetie.

Nancy: Come on, honey, sing. Show Brady how good you are.

Chloe: Brady has heard me sing.

Brady: I think your mom is challenging you.

Chloe: Fine. I'll sing if you trade me your St. James Place.

Brady: Depends on your reviews.

Chloe: Well, why don't you sing with me, and then we'll negotiate later?

Roman: I want to get this right from the horse's mouth. Dr. Adams, Kate tells me that Will's visit is what caused Lucas' breakthrough. Is that true?

Dr. Adams: Absolutely. Spiritual and emotional healing is an essential component of any patient's recovery. We're connected to our children in a very special way.

Kate: You see? You have to help me. You have to go to Sami. Make her do the right thing.

Sami: Answer me, Austin. Are you going to call off the wedding if I don't give in to Kate?

Austin: It's not about giving in. It's about letting go of the past so Will can have the best possible future, Sami.

Sami: It's not that simple.

Austin: It can be done. I forgave you.

Sami: That is different from me forgiving Kate.

Austin: Why?

Sami: Because I was a messed-up kid madly in love with you. She was an adult out for my blood, and she's still trying to ruin my life.

Austin: Look, you both have hurt in your lives, and you're both trying to improve your lives.

Sami: Oh, she is not trying -- Austin, you're a good person, and that makes it hard for you to imagine how bad some people can be.

Austin: No. I got a pretty good idea, Sami.

Sami: Look, I'm just never going to trust Kate. And whether or not Lucas recovers and decides to improve his life is really up in the air right now, okay? So I'm not going to risk him jeopardizing my son's life.

Will: Mommy, I heard yelling.

Sami: Oh, honey, I'm sorry. Everything's fine. And you know it's going to stay that way. I am never going to let anything bad happen to you.

Belle: Mom, sometimes I wonder if you worry so much about me because of what happened with Sami.

Marlena: Oh. Well, I wasn't consciously thinking about that, but maybe you're right. I do feel partly responsible for Sami's situation -- you know, what went on with her and getting pregnant. Not that will isn't just an absolute angel, but the circumstances of her life. I wonder if I'd insisted that she stay closer to me, if we talked more, if she'd been more open --

Belle: No, Mom, Mom, you've always done everything you can for your kids.

Marlena: I mean, a lot of Sami's life was really, you know, beyond her control. Well, she did choose to sleep with Lucas when she was really too young. Like the girls in high school -- they just miss out on so much.

Belle: I have to admit, Mom, it's hard for me to picture you in high school.

Marlena: Hard for me to picture you in high school, too. I still think of you as the little girl that I would feed at 2:00 in the morning.

Belle: I still like a late-night snack.

Marlena: I want you to wait until you are so sure it's the right time.

Belle: Mom, I know in my heart that Shawn is the right one. Someday I'm going to marry him. We're going to have a family. In that order.

Marlena: It's wonderful that you think of it in that order --

Belle: But here comes the lecture.

Marlena: Well, no, I'm your mother, and I have more experience in this area than you do. So...wait. And then wait even longer. And if you and Shawn are meant to be together, it will make it so much more exciting, and you will have a much stronger relationship.

Shawn D.: She's made up her mind, Mrs. Spears.

Mrs. Spears: Oh, really? What are you going to do, saddle yourself with a child for the rest of your life? Because you'll be raising it on your own. This jerk will be long gone once he gets a taste of what parenthood is really like. Look at him. Do you really think he's going to stay with you until death do you part? He's a child, for God's sakes. He's going to have dozens of women before he decides to settle down, and it's not going to be with a loser like you when he does.

Shawn D.: Would you please not speak to her like that?

Mrs. Spears: Oh, I'm sorry. Am I offending you? Did the little hero get his feelings hurt?

Shawn D.: Look, we've made the right decision.

Mrs. Spears: Listen, this is yours, okay? This baby is yours --

Shawn D.: Would you let her go?!

Mrs. Spears: If you really want to be its father, are you going to marry her? Answer me. Are you going to marry my daughter?

Chloe: How about it, Brady? Sing with me?

Craig: I'd like to hear a little duet. Hmm?

Brady: All right, I'm game. Any requests?

Nancy: Something in English. None of those Italian or German operas where I can't understand a damn word.

Craig: Just make it a little love song, hmm?

Brady: A love song, huh?

Craig: Yeah.

Brady: Know any standards, Chloe?

Chloe: Well, how about this one? It's more of a "don't love me" song.

Chloe: Don't throw bouquets at me don't please my folks too much don't laugh at my jokes

too much people will say we're in love don't sigh and gaze at me your sighs are so like mine

your eyes mustn't glow like mine people will say we're in love don't start collecting things give me my rose and my glove sweetheart they're suspecting things people will say we're in love

Brady: Don't praise my charms too much don't look in vain at me don't stand in the rain with me

people will say we're in love don't take my arm too much don't keep your hand in mine your hand

feels so grand in mine people will say we're in love don't dance all night with me till the stars fade from above they'll see

Both: It's all right with me people will say we're in love

Austin: Hey, buddy boy, you know what? You don't need to worry about anything. Your mom and I are just, um... having a very loud discussion, so why don't you go up to the kitchen and get yourself some juice, okay?

Will: Okay.

Austin: Okay.

Austin: Are you going to tell him?

Sami: Not now.

Austin: His father is across the hall, and he's going to find out sooner or later.

Sami: I can't do this.

Austin: Sami, he needs to know his father's here, okay? For all of us.

Sami: He's my son, Austin, and this is my decision to make. Not yours, and it's certainly not your bitchy mother's.

Kate: Well, why don't we go to Sami's apartment right now?

Roman: And do what?

Kate: Tell her that we agree. We both feel Lucas needs to be here so Will can help him recover.

Kate: Roman, it's about family.

Roman: Okay. All right.

Kate: Good.

Sami: This is not the time for this.

Kate: Oh. Well, well, well. This is going to be perfect.

Kate: Ready?

Roman: Let's go..

Brady: Thank you.

Chloe: So, Brady, you still think I sing with no heart?

Brady: Well, I-I do have to admit there was a small spark of passion there, musically speaking, of course. However, you still have a lot of work to do.

Nancy: Chloe, don't listen to him.

Chloe: I'm going all the way, Brady -- with or without you.

Marlena: It means a lot to me that we can talk like this.

Belle: Me too.

Marlena: I'm so glad to be your mother, and I am so proud of you.

Belle: Oh. You're not just my mom. You're my friend, too, and I am very lucky, because not every daughter can say that.

Mrs. Spears: So, what's your plan, pretty boy? Are there wedding bells in your future, or are you going to make my daughter bring a bastard child into this world? You don't know, do you? You don't know what the hell you're doing.

Shawn D.: We know we're doing the right thing.

Mrs. Spears: Right for who? This is not some little accident happening here. This is a disaster, for you, for your parents --

Jan: Oh, poor you, Mom. Poor you.

Mrs. Spears: That's enough of that.

Jan: I know what you're thinking, what you're always thinking. Why don't you just say it?

Mrs. Spears: You are impossible.

Jan: That's right. I'm impossible. I'm a terrible daughter, and I've ruined your life. Why don't I just die and leave you alone?

Mrs. Spears: You are the most ungrateful -- I have given you everything that a child could want, and this is how you repay me.

Shawn D.: Please, please. Can we just take a time-out? There is a baby that we need --

Mrs. Spears: There is not going to be a baby.

Shawn D.: Jan has made her decision.

Mrs. Spears: Get out!

Shawn D.: No, what are you talking about?

Mrs. Spears: Get out of my house right now.

Jan: It's okay. Just go.

Shawn D.: I'm not -- I'm not going to leave you here.

Jan: It's -- it's fine. I'll call you later, okay? Bye.

Shawn D.: What are you doing here?

Sami: What do you wa-- great.

Kate: Hello, Sami.

Sami: Dad.

Roman: Sami, we got to try to work this thing out right now so Will can be with Lucas.

Sami: Over my dead body.
