Shawn-D: Hey. What are you doing awake? Well, I don't know about you, but I slept like a rock. Hey, you want the football?

J.T.: [Giggles]

Shawn-D: Yeah. Hey, we got to do this a little more. What do you say, huh -- have these sleepovers? Except if you keep hogging the bed like you did, you little punk, you little punk...

[Blowing] I got your belly! I got your belly! Look at you. Always smiling. Well, I guess you got a lot to smile about. You got a big brother who loves ya, and I think you're pretty special. Come here. Come here. I think you're pretty special. And you know what else?

J.T.: [Crying]

Shawn-D: What? You know what else? You got the best mom and dad in the whole world.

Bo: You feel incredible, from the top of your beautiful head right down to the tips of your toes.

Hope: Bo, there were so many times I was afraid we'd never make love.

Bo: Or even be together.

Hope: We'd tell each other how we feel.

Bo: There were times there where I thought I'd lost you.

Hope: And there were times that I didn't think you really ever wanted me..

Bo: [Chuckles] I wanted you so much, it hurt.

Hope: Bo, don't ever stop wanting me.

Hope: I wish this night could go on forever, Bo. I really do.

Bo: And it will because I will always love you. I promise.

Bo: My God, this is something I suspected a long time ago, isn't it? Something all of you denied to my face over and over again. Say it to me! He's John Thomas’s father, isn't he? Isn't he?

Hope: You said that things could never be the same, Bo. Did you really believe that?

Hope: Saying "I’m sorry" -- it -- it -- it sounds so hollow, I know, but I-I don't know what else to say, Bo. I should have told you the truth. You did -- you deserved to know who J.T.'s father is. You deserved better, so much better.

Bo: Yes, Fancy Face, it did take me a while to get used to the idea of this baby, but now I am -- I love it. I am going to take on all the responsibilities of late-night feedings and the baby's first steps. I'll be there for the small moments and the big moments, just like I was with Shawn. I'm going to be a good father to this baby -- to our baby, okay?

Hope: Oh! Oh!

Bo: Uh, friar? Marry us -- now.

Hope: Oh...

Bo: It's okay, okay. Breathe.

Man: Do you, Bo, take Hope?

Bo: I do. I do. Believe me, I do.

Man: Uh, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife..

Hope: Aah! Uhh!

[Baby crying]

Woman: Okay, congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Brady. You have another son.

Hope: I don't want you to leave, Brady. I don't want you to leave. [Sobbing ]

Bo: Hope, look at me. I love you more than anything. How can I make you believe that I don't blame you for the baby being sick? That is why I’m going to Ireland. DiMera's responsible for everything that happened while you were pregnant, and I'm going to make him pay.

Hope: And if I asked you just to leave it alone? Bo...

Bo: Hope... If I can't protect you and my family, what kind of a husband and father am I?

Hope: Bo, please. Can't you at least postpone this trip? The baby's christening is coming up.

Bo: Hope, I'm gone a few days. That's it.

Hope: All right. Right. Famous last words.

Bo: I won't miss Johnny’s christening. I promise.

Man: John Thomas Brady, I baptize thee in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit.

J.T.: [Coos]

Hope: I wish you were there, Bo.

Bo: I guess I’m pretty good at hurting you.

Hope: I guess I’m... Pretty good at hurting you, too.

Bo: Ha ha. We've been dumb.

Hope: And stupid.

Bo: And we're here all alone.

Hope: Until morning?

Bo: What, you think I’m going to stand around and argue all night?

Hope: Gosh, I hope not.

Bo: Oh, me neither. That isn't one of my favorite things.

Hope: That's not what I like, either.

Bo: Truce?

Hope: For tonight? Truce.

Bo: For tonight.

Hope: Ha ha.

Hope: We've always been able to forgive each other in the past, but now? Oh, God. It's different. It's different this time.

Hope: Nice bike.

Bo: Yeah, she is. What did you say your name was?

Hope: I didn’t.

Bo: [Laughs] Oh, great. Hauled in a cute one tonight. Where do you live, lady "x"?

Hope: Out by the lake.

Bo: Oh, by the lake. Your parents must have some bucks.

Hope: They do okay.

Bo: Where do you go to school?

Hope: Uh, State Teachers' College.

Bo: No -- high school.

Hope: Lincoln.

Bo: That's what I thought. Here. Put this on. Keep your pretty head safe..

Bo: Pretty little rich kid who's nothing but a pain.

Hope: Look, if you don't want to drive me home, then just say so.

Bo: Nah, I think I can put up with you for the 10 minutes it will take to drop you off at your folks. Here. Hop on.

Bo: Well, well, well, ha, you sure you're old enough to man this booth?

Hope: Cut it, Bo. Okay, give me a ticket and let's get this over with.

Bo: "Over." Okay. Here you go, little one.

Hope: There must be a dozen tickets here.

Bo: Closer to two dozen. Think you're up to it?

Hope: I guess it's for a good cause.

Bo: Ha ha. For a good cause.

Hope: That's it? For two dozen tickets, that's it?

Bo: You're right. I'm not paying to kiss you. You're not ready for it.

Hope: I can handle it, Bo.

Bo: And I don't think you can, little one.

Hope: I said I can handle it.

Bo: Oh, you did, huh?

Hope: And I can.

Bo: Sure you ca--

Bo: Hope, I don't blame you for hating me. I've been awful to you. I know it, but I'm going to make it up to you.

Hope: You are?

Bo: Hope, I haven't been able to think of anything but you.

Hope: Bo, why didn't you tell me? Bo, why did you have to be so mean to me?

Bo: Good morning.

Hope: Good morning.

Bo: You happy?

Hope: Extremely. Oh, Bo, I can't --

Bo: Shh, shh, shh.

Hope: I love you.

Bo: I love you.

Hope: Whoop! Ha ha.

Hope: I was pretty young when you met me, and I'd get so mad at you when you'd call me "little one" -- ha ha -- but knowing you and loving you has made me grow into a woman, and I am your woman, Bo...

Hope: And standing here in front of all of these people, I give you my life and all my love, now and for all eternity. Oh, Bo, I love you, and I am so proud to be your wife..

Bo: Who knew "forever" would end last night?

[Christmas music throughout]

Bo: See? They spit at you. Does this one look all right to you?

Hope: Well, it's a little lighter than the others, but I think it's fine..

Bo: Oh, Hope, I think you should probably open it up and check it out.

Hope: I'm not gonna open it. Here. You open it.

Bo: No, you open it. I'm digging -- I'm digging clams here.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: Careful. Careful. Don't hurt yourself.

Hope: Okay. Ooh, these really stink.

Bo: Well, it's kind of like ocean.

Hope: Oh. Oh, Bo.

Hope: Did you do this?

Bo: No. Of course I did it. You like it?

Hope: Oh, Bo, it's beautiful.

Bo: Well, good. Here.

Hope: Oh, it's the most beautiful diamond. Okay.

Bo: Here. Let me put it on you. It will be more beautiful. I can never figure these things out. Oh, there we go.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: Oh, you got your hair in the way.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: There we go. I did some scrambling to get that thing in here. Haven’t done those in a long time.

Hope: Oh, Bo.

Bo: Happy Anniversary.

Hope: I love you. Don't know what I'm going to do with you, but I love you.

Bo: Kiss me. That's what you're going to do.

Bo: All right, before we open the champagne...

Hope: Yeah?

Bo: And get down to business...

Hope: Uh-huh.

Bo: I got presents for you.

Hope: Ooh, I love presents.

Bo: This is the first one. Just pull the -- yeah. Very good.

Hope: Ooh.

Hope: A brand new Dukie bear.

Bo: Uh-huh. Ha ha.

Hope: Ha ha.

Bo: It may not be extravagant, but it's from the heart.

Hope: I love it. Thank you so much. [Sniffs] You can't give up on us, Brady. I won't let you. I won't let you. Please.

Bo's voice: Everything we had together, everything we used to have as a couple, ended tonight...For good.

Hope: [Sobbing]

Bo: You know how hard it is for me to tell people how I feel about them, especially the people I care about, but today in front of all these people, I have no problem telling you that I love you 'cause I want you to know that and I want them to know it, too, and like the Archbishop said, I know our lives aren't going to be just sunshine and roses from here on in, but I want you to know I’m going to try my hardest to keep our love alive because we've got something very special here. It's worth fighting for. I love you, Hope.

Hope: Oh, Bo.

Bo: It's great, isn't it?

Hope: Yeah, it's great.

Bo: Used to be mine, and before that it was my p-- it was Shawn’s, and before that, his pop's.

Hope: Does this mean you think we're going to have a boy?

Bo: I don't know.

Bo: Look at this little guy. He's just so tiny. And these little fingers -- they're so perfect. How... How could something so tiny be so perfect?

Hope: He's so beautiful, isn't he, Bo?

Bo: He's a miracle. That's what he is. You're a miracle, too, you know?

Hope: Oh, Bo.

Shawn-D: [Coos]

Bo: Easy, baby. Come here. Oh, man. Just look at this Boat. Isn't she a beauty?

Hope: Yeah, it's beautiful.

Bo: Look at those lines. Bet she's fast.

Hope: You've never given up that dream, have you, Bo?

Bo: It's not a bad dream, either. I mean, wouldn't it be fantastic? We get on this boat -- the three of us -- and just sail off wherever the wind took us?

Hope: It's for sale. Bo, why don't we do it?

Bo: Yeah, I wish it were that simple.

Bo: Hope, I’m -- I'm trying to do the right thing.

Hope: And you think signing these divorce papers is the right thing? Don't answer. Please. I really want you to think about it before you answer me. There's a lot at stake here -- a family, a marriage... A bond of real love. Once I sign those papers, that bond will be broken forever. There's no going back, not for me.

Hope: You're... You're sure this is what you truly want?

Bo: Yes. Yes, it is.

Bo: We are getting a divorce.

Hope: I'm still your wife... And I love you with all my heart, Bo, and no matter how many times you pretend that it's over, it's not over. It'll never be over. You love me.. You'll always love me... And I can prove it.

[Shower running]

Bo: What are you doing?

Hope: Don't pay any attention to me.

Hope: Good catch.

Bo: Thank you.

Hope: Ooh. I don't hear any wood being chopped out there, Brady.

Bo: 'Cause I decided to take a break.

Hope: Sorry, but there's only enough room for one person in here.

Bo: I'm just going to have to stay very, very close.

Hope: Bo, I’m so sorry.

Bo: No. No, Hope, I can't do this.

Hope: Bo, please.

Bo: I can't.

Hope: Bo, please don’t... Please don't...

Bo: "To Bo, the love of my life -- Happy Anniversary, always and forever.. Hope."

[Music Box playing "tonight I celebrate my love"]

Hope: It's beautiful. Thank you.

Bo: I've been thinking about what you said before. So I’m not really sure how things are going to work out... But I would like to give us another chance.

Bo: Um... So... Would you like to do the same thing?

Hope: Yeah. Yeah.

Bo: Cool.

It seems

the natural thing to do

tonight

no one's gonna find us

Bo: I'll never get that love back again.

We'll leave the world behind us

when I make love to you

tonight I celebrate my love for you

Hope: Bo? [Sobbing]

if there were no words no way to speak

I would still hear you

if there were no tears no way to feel inside

I’d still feel for you

and even if the sun refused to shine

even if romance ran out of rhyme

you would still have my heart

until the end of time 'cause all I need

Are you, my valentine

oh, whoa

you're all I need

my love, my valentine oh

Hope: Bo, you can't give up on us. We have so much. We could have so much more.

Hope: You think I want you to stay because you feel obligated?

Bo: Don't push me, 'cause I do feel like walking out that door and giving up, because I know our lives will never be the same again. After this, I know I can never trust you again.

Shawn-D: All right, hey, do you like my hat? 'Cause I happen to have one right here for you. Here you go. Here, all right -- backwards. Try backwards. Whoa, whoa. All right, you know what we need? We need a mirror to make sure this is perfect. What do you think? What do you think? You like that? I like that look for you. Very dapper. Now what do you say we go downstairs and we get you some breakfast? Without the hat.

Shawn-D: Hey, Dad.

Bo: Well, hey. You guys have a slumber party and didn't invite your old man?

Shawn-D: You're not upset?

Bo: No, no, no, of course not.

Shawn-D: Well, I know you don't want me disrupting his sleeping patterns, but I only kept him up till -- how late were we up till? 2:00, 3:00? I think -- I think it was 3:00. Dad.

Bo: Yeah?

Shawn-D: You okay?

Bo: Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.

Shawn-D: Well, I heard about your little disagreement with mom. That's not what's bothering you, right? I mean, you guys have been --

Bo: Hey, whoa. Don't worry about it. You know what? I this growing boy is hungry. Why don't you take him downstairs and give him something to eat?

Shawn-D: All right. Hey, what do you say we go downstairs and get some pancakes, huh? You like pancakes, right? Say bye to Daddy.

Bo: Bye-bye.

Shawn-D: Bye to Daddy.

J.T.: Da-da.

Shawn-D: There you go. Ha ha.

Bo: Forgot my badge.

Hope: Uh, before you leave, um... Why don't you let me make you some breakfast? We could all eat together as a family.

Bo: No, no, I don't have time. I got to get to the station. Shawn is feeding J.T.

Hope: What time can I expect you home?

Bo: I don't know. Probably have to put in some overtime tonight. You know, could be pretty late. You know what? I'll call you later, let you know if I’ll be home tonight.

Hope: Bo, wait. You can't leave like this. Please... I love you, Brady. I love you. Please. I know you still love me. Bo, we can get through this. We can get through it. Please, give us another chance. Tell me you forgive me, please. Please.

Hope: Say something, please.

Hope: I want you back, Brady. You're the only man I want to wake up next to every day. Bo, we have so much to look forward to. We have so much. We have Shawn’s graduation. We have J.T.'s first day of school. We have weddings, grandkids. We -- I can't imagine sharing any of these moments with anyone but you. I don't want to share them with anyone but you. Don't you hear me? Bo, please. Tell me we have another chance. Tell me you still love me, please.

Bo: I do love you. I do.

Bo: You were my first love, and I know you'll be my last.

Bo: Hope Williams Brady, I promise to love you, to cherish you, to respect you, and protect you for all the days of our lives.

Hope: Bo Brady, I promise to always love, honor, cherish, respect, and protect you, too. To share my life with you and build our future together for ourselves and for our family. I've never loved anyone but you, and I know I never will.

Bo: Isn't this the part where, um... "you may now kiss the bride"? I think someone already has.

Bo: Hey, you guys.

Shawn-D: Hey, Dad. J.T. and I were wondering if you and mom wanted to get some pancakes. Get 'em while they're hot.

Bo: Looks like somebody’s been taste-testing the batter here.

Shawn-D: Yeah. So do you want me to set you and mom a place?

Bo: No, I got a stack of work waiting for me at the station. Can I take a rain check?

Shawn-D: Yeah, yeah. Well, you just don't know what you're missing.

Bo: Yeah. You guys have a good day, all right?

Shawn-D: All right. Bye, Dad. Dad's leaving. Say bye.

J.T.: Da-da.

Shawn-D: Say bye.

Bo: Bye-bye. You guys mean the world to me. Don't ever forget that.

Shawn-D: Yeah. Are you sure you're okay?

Bo: Yeah, fine. Just... Sometimes I forget to tell you guys how much I love you.

J.T.: Da-da.

Bo: [Laughs]
