Episode #7878 ~ Xander tells Emma that he has been keeping a secret from her; Zoe overhears Sally tell Wyatt that she heard Hope's warning.

Liam: I finally got her down. Rough night.

Steffy: Thanks for taking turns with me.

Liam: Are you okay?

Steffy: Uh... I still can't believe hope is pregnant. In a way, it feels like a disaster, but then... take myself out of it... and I think of the baby... every w fe

Liam: Hey, just so you know... I don't think hope intended to get pregnant.

Steffy: No, I know. Bill manipulated all of this.

Liam: Yeah. My father caused a lot of... mayhem.

Steffy: But we worked it out. And we have our child and our home, our life. All we need to do is cement it. As husband and wife, we can handle anything.

Hope: So, thorne and i decided after the show we want to feature the scarf campaign next to the gift-bag table, and we want people to share in the experience of getting a scarf and sending it to another person, spreading love and style around the world.

Xander: Makes sense to me.

Hope: Yeah, and we want the interns involved in the process and the restocking.

Emma: Awesome. We're here to help. Are you all right?

Hope: [ Clears throat ] Actually, I'm -- I'm terrific. But I have been doing some thinking lately about the recent events happening here.

Emma: Concerning me?

Hope: I have come to believe that it was a rookie mistake and you didn't mean any harm, right? You said so much yourself. So, how 'bout this? A fresh start.

Emma: Seriously?

Hope: Seriously.

Emma: Yes! Please.

[ Chuckles ]

Katie: Well, this was a brilliant idea, playing hooky today.

Thorne: Well, thank you. I'm glad that we're spending time together... 'cause I like you.

Katie: I like you, too.

Thorne: Which is why I don't like keeping things from you, especially when it's something you really should know about.

Katie: What's going on?

Thorne: Someone seems to be having an issue with hope.

Sally: What did I ever do without you?

Wyatt: [ Chuckles ] You must have been pretty lost and confused.

Sally: Well, I certainly never started the day with a dip in the ocean.

Wyatt: Clearly, you haven't lived.

Sally: Clearly.

Wyatt: Yeah, clearly.

Sally: But I'm starting to now I've got you.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Sally: My foot in the door at forrester, for whatever's that worth.

Wyatt: You will turn that into something career-defining. Trust me.

Sally: Yeah, not as long as hope has anything to say about it, 'cause she hates me.

Wyatt: Okay. She -- she doesn't hate. Maybe she disapproves of you, but she doesn't hate.

Sally: Right. Right. She's far too altruistic for that.

Wyatt: Ohh. Are we still feeling sorry for ourselves?

Sally: Less.

Wyatt: Uh-huh.

Sally: You were right. The swim helped.

Wyatt: Good. Then that just tells me I have a little more to do, more to work on to make you at peace.

Thorne: You know liam's been setting up the website for hope's new line.

Katie: Yeah.

Thorne: Well, he was showing me the site and reading some of the live comments when he came across one that was a bit disturbing.

Katie: Well, what did it say?

Thorne: "I'm coming after you. Watch out." And a red skull and crossbones.

Katie: What?!

Thorne: Oh, liam deleted it, of course, but he kept it for evidence in case we need it later. We were hoping it was the end of it, but, unfortunately, it wasn'T.

Zoe: You two ever come up for air?

Wyatt: Oh, hey! Ha!

Zoe: Should I, uh, come back?

Wyatt: No, no. Uh, no. Your -- your wall awaits.

Sally: It's looking really good.

Wyatt: [ Chuckling ] Yeah.

Zoe: Well, it's getting there. Well, you know the drill. Act like I'm not even here.

Wyatt: [ Chuckles ] I don't think you want us to do that.

Zoe: My other clients will tell you it wouldn't be the first time it's happened.

Wyatt: Hey, and I wasn't brushing you off earlier. You have every right to be upset with hope, the way she's been treating you.

Sally: I have a confession.

Zoe: Should I, uh, step outside?

Sally: No. No, no, no. It's fine. You've heard me go on about hope before. I really don't mind if you hear.

Wyatt: Yeah, wh-what?

Sally: I was standing outside the door whenever hope was warning you about me.

Wyatt: You sneaky mcsneaker.

Sally: I heard my name. Look, it's one thing to go on about my job, but, really, to meddle in my personal life, where does she get off?

Wyatt: Okay, but did you stick around long enough to hear my response?

Sally: You said that you cared about me...

Wyatt: Mm-hmm.

Sally: ...And admired me.

Wyatt: Hope has no influence here -- not about you and me.

Emma: I can't tell you how much this means to me.

Hope: Well, there's more. I would like to revisit using your choreography for the upcoming show.

Emma: I thought that was off the table.

Hope: Well, now it's officially back on -- I mean, unless you'd rather not.

Emma: Oh, no, no. I'd definitely rather.

[ Laughs ]

Xander: Emma won't let you down, hope.

Hope: Well, that works for me.

Emma: [ Laughs ]

Liam: You're really something, you know that? I expected you to be -- I don't know -- way more upset.

Steffy: Am I happy that hope's having your baby? No. I mean, you, me, and kelly were already a functioning family. So, why don't we just get married? Unless... you still want to get married, don't you?

Katie: Are you saying there was more than one threat?

Thorne: It's open for interpretation. "There's no 'hope' for you."

Katie: Okay. Well, clearly, this was written by somebody who doesn't like hope, but it doesn't mean it's dangerous.

Thorne: Which is why liam and don't want to push the panic button. Now, ridge is in on the loop, too, just so you know. We've discussed some options -- not having a comments section at all or having some kind of registration process.Katie: You don't want to change the spirit of the website just because of one troll.

Thorne: Exactly. We're also not ruling out that it's someone closer.

Katie: What do you mean?

Thorne: Well, I overheard maya, xander, and emma venting about hope the other day.

Katie: You think it's one ofe'reooking at all possibilities. Then there is sally. There's no love lost there.

Katie: Well, what does hope say about all this?

Thorne: She doesn't know.

Katie: [ Scoffs ]

Sally: It's like déjà vu.

Wyatt: Hmm.

Sally: First your father tries to ruin my life, now hope.

Wyatt: Okay. You had land my father wanted.

Sally: Don't you dare try and tell me it wasn't personal.

Wyatt: It -- it wasn't!

Zoe: Hope, though, you know, from what you've shared, sounds like it was pretty personal to her.

Sally: See? Zoe gets it. Thank you very much. I haven't done a damn thing to that woman in my life.

Zoe: Maybe it wasn't just that. Maybe she's just jealous or something -- deep down, threatened by having you around.

Sally: So, she's using her power to keep me down?

Zoe: Some women are just like that.

Sally: Hope may have made a huge miscalculation, 'cause i don't like the view from down here.

Wyatt: Oh, yeah?

Sally: I might just come up swinging.

Emma: Thank you so much for believing in me again.

Hope: Well, you're talented, emma, and this is the potential for great P.R. For hope for the future. It would be a mistake not to use you. In fact, you can use my office today if you need to to get a head start.

Emma: Great. Okay. I won't let you down.

Hope: That's what I like to hear.

Emma: [ Chuckles ] Can you believe that just happened?

Xander: Yeah, I believe it. Hope knows a star when she sees one, and I knew she'd eventually figure out there was no dark, scary secret about you.

Emma: Right?

Xander: It got me thinking about my own life. Now that we've gotten closer, there's something I want to tell you.

Steffy: It's okay, liam. You can say it. Has hope's pregnancy made you change your mind about marrying me?

Liam: Wait. No. That's -- first of all, it's not you. It's not about you. I just -- suddenly, I feel like I'm not in a position to get married at all. 'Cause it's complicated. I have this -- this beautiful daughter here with you, and we have a wonderful life right now, living in our home together. But I have to figure out what hope'

Steffy: No, I-I get it. I'm just disappointed because i love you and I want to marry you more than anything.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: But I know what we have. So take whatever time you need, liam, okay? I just know our future is together with our little girl.

Xander: I don't really open up about my past. But you're quickly becoming more important to me.

Emma: [ Chuckles ] Same here.

Xander: Well, I guess the first thing you should know is... I was raised in england.

Emma: Xander [Laughing] I thought you were being serious.

Xander: I am! I am!

Emma: Right, and...

[ British accent ] I'm the queen mum.

Xander: [ British accent ] Hey, that's not bad.

Emma: [ Normal voice ] You're pretty good, too.

Xander: Yeah, I'd hope so.

Emma: Wait. But you're related to the avants.

Xander: Yeah. Um, my dad married a brit. You know, before I got here, i sounded like this.

Emma: For real? Say that again.

Xander: Okay. Um, I think I said... "you are more beautiful every day."

Emma: Get out.

[ Laughing ] Why have you been hiding this?

Wyatt: Ah! Is the artist satisfied?

Zoe: I'm feeling it. But, more importantly, how 'bout the client?

Wyatt: I-I think it looks great. Sally?

Sally: I think it's beautiful. I can't wait to see it when it's all done.

Zoe: And to have me out of your hair.

Wyatt: Who -- who said that? Did we say that out loud?

Zoe: Hey, new relationship. I get it.

Sally: It's probably actually better that you're in and out, or we might not get anything done.

Wyatt: Well, other than the important stuff. Right? Hmm? What? No, don't tell me you're thinking about -- we were doing so well.

Sally: I know. It's just when I think about my job at forrester, I should be excited.

Wyatt: I know.

Sally: You know, like this, like I am with you. And instead, I just have this terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, wondering what new and inventive ways hope is gonna have to make me feel like I'm not wanted there.

Wyatt: Okay. You want my advice? Just be who you are. Be a force that hope can't deny. Like, if you excel at every task that she throws your way, no matter how menial it is, eric is gonna take notice of that. He's the one you want to impress.

Sally: And ridge and the rest of the forresters.

Wyatt: Yeah, but if you get eric on your side, trust me -- everyone else will follow. And hope won't even have a choice.

Zoe: And won't that revenge be sweet?

Sally: Well, thank you, guys, both of you, for the support. I should check in now. Have you guys seen my laptop? I swear I left it in here.

Wyatt: No.

Sally: [ Sighs ]

[ Tea kettle whistling ]

Liam: Oh. Your, uh, kettle.

Hope: [ Chuckles ]

Liam: So, h-how are you? I mean, is the -- is the nausea any better?

Hope: Uh, not yet, but this helps. I mean, I'm still getting used to it. But I don't mind, you know? It's a nice little reminder that there's a baby on board.

Liam: Yeah, our baby. That's -- that's still hard to believe.

Hope: It's quite an amazing surprise.

Liam: I told steffy.

Hope: [ Chuckles ] Well, how did that go?

Liam: Well, uh, she wasn't thrilled, but, you know, she took it in stride, and she made a quick mental adjustment, and she just said...that we'll all deal.

Hope: And that was the end of it?

Liam: Well, no. I mean, she -- she wants us to get married right away.

Hope: Okay. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that she wasn't talking about you and me. So...what are you gonna do?

Liam: [ Sighs ]

Emma: So, you grew up in england. Why are you so secretive about it?

Xander: [ Normal voice ] There -- there's something i left behind. You know, coming to L.A. Was fresh start for me. That's all I was hoping for. And what I didn't see coming was you.

Emma: [ Chuckles ]

Xander: I've always heard american women were knockouts, but now I know for sure. You knocked me out, literally.

Emma: [ Laughs ] Got your attention, didn't I?

Xander: And I've been looking ever since.

Katie: Okay. Enough of this. Do I have to remind you what playing hooky is all about?

Thorne: I just feel like i should be staying on top of the situation.

Katie: You might fall into the vortex. Are you really willing to take that chance?

Thorne: What, you got a better idea?

Katie: As a matter of fact, I do.

Thorne: You do that again, I'm throwing this into the ocean.

Katie: Promise?

Thorne: Yes.

Katie: No, go ahead. You'll just be distracted.

Thorne: Okay. I do want to show you something. Take a look at this.

Katie: "Good luck. You're gonna need it."

Thorne: So, what are we dealing with here? Is someone really stalking hope?

Sally: How does someone lose a laptop? Like, a phone -- okay, I get that, but a laptop?

Wyatt: I like to think you've been distracted.

Sally: Well, yeah. Okay, I'll admit that hope's attitude threw me.

Wyatt: No, I was talking about us.

Sally: I didn't expect her to welcome me with open arms, but complete career sabotage? That I never expected.

Wyatt: Okay. Will you stop?

Zoe: Oh, look. Is that your laptop?

Wyatt: Ah.

Sally: What the heck?

Wyatt: [ Chuckles ]

Sally: How did it get here? Thank you.

Wyatt: I don't know.

Kelly: [ Fusses ]

Steffy: Ohh. This is no different. Hope's pregnancy is not gonna change anything. Okay?

Kelly: [ Fusses ]

Steffy: You, me, and daddy -- we're gonna be a family...

[Voice breaking] Forever. I promise.

Hope: Well, I can't say I'm surprised steffy wants to get married right away.

Liam: So [Scoffs] Listen, I'll -- I'll tell you what i told her, which is... I just -- I can't make that decision yet. This is all new. It's life-changing, and I think I just need to kind of sit with it and see what it means. I love my daughter.

Hope: I know you do.

Liam: We're a family. Steffy, kelly, and me -- we're a family. And -- and we... are about to be a family, too.

Hope: I never meant to complicate your life.

Liam: That's not -- that's not -- hey. It takes two, and I'm not sorry. And you bring so much to my life. I love you, hope. I could get lost in you. But the inconvenient fact is that I love steffy, too.

Hope: [ Sighs ] So, you're gonna stay with her?

Liam: I have to be close to my daughter. Can you give me time?

Hope: I'm going to be honest. It's not gonna be easy, carrying your child while you're living with steffy, but... I understand why you need to be there. I am not going to come between you and kelly. I won'T.

Liam: Thank you. Thank you so much.

Hope: [ Sighs ] I love you so much.

Liam: I love you, too. . . .
