Ridge: [ Laughs ]

Brooke: Look at how cute!

Ridge: We've taken some great pictures. Look at that.

Brooke: [ Giggles ] Yeah. It's fun being a grandma again. Or a step-grandma. I'm not sure what steffy's gonna want kelly calling me.

Ridge: I'm so happy you went over there. Now, can I take that as a sign that we'll all support this beautiful new family?

Steffy: Hope left?

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Well, that was nice of her, to drop off a gift. I know it couldn't be easy for her.

Liam: Yeah, but that's hope. I mean, I know she doesn't like it, but... she seems to understand it,

Steffy: Mm.

Liam: She respects it. And... she's right. Where else would I be besides here, at home, with my girls?

Danny: What can I get you?

Wyatt: Scotch, neat.

[ Loud slurping ] Sally?

Sally: Wyatt spencer. Fancy seeing you here.

Wyatt: More like fancy seeing you. Are-- aren't you supposed to be in new york right now?

Sally: Yeah. Yeah. It's a funny story.

Wyatt: You okay?

Sally: Few more of these and I might be.

Wyatt: Sally, what -- what's going on?

Sally: Don't act like you don't know. They're back together.

Wyatt: Who?

Sally: Thomas and your definitely-not-dying cousin.

Brooke: Of course I'll support that family. Can't say I'm thrilled about it, but I will support it.

Ridge: I didn't expect you to be thrilled about it. I know you've wanted hope and liam together for a long time. But I was just wondering if you could find some -- some happiness in that beautiful heart of yours for steffy, for liam, and for that child they created together.

Steffy: Oh, wow.

Liam: What?

Steffy: Have you talked to your cousin lately?

Liam: No. Why? Is something wrong?

Steffy: Uh, no. It's just the opposite, actually. Thomas just texted me -- they're back together.

Liam: What? He was so angry.

Steffy: Well, when a couple's meant to be.

Liam: Wait, what about sally?

Wyatt: You and thomas are over?

Sally: Yup. Finito.

[ Sighs ] Fat lady sang. Singed? Sung? Sang? Sing? I don't know. Can I have, um, another round?

Danny: You got it.

Wyatt: You sure you need --

Sally: And for my friend here, too.

Wyatt: And a couple of waters, too.

Coming up.

Wyatt: Thanks.

Sally: Flavor of the month.

Wyatt: What?

Sally: That's what my grams used to always say that I was for thomas, the flavor of the month. She was right. Grams is always right.

Wyatt: So he moved you to new york just to --

Sally: Realize that he couldn't live without his socialite. Or son. Or both. I don't know. I stopped listening halfway through his over-the-top breakup speech, hopped on a plane, flew right back.

Wyatt: I, um -- I don't know what to say.

Sally: Lesson learned -- liars always win in the end.

Liam: I mean, s-- [ Sighs ] Sally moved to new york to be with thomas.

Steffy: You didn't think they were a good match, did you?

Liam: Well -- well, don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled for caroline. I mean, she's got her family back. I -- I obviously support that. But I'm surprised. I mean, I just thought thomas said he never wanted anything to do with caroline ever again.

Steffy: I think he had a knee-jerk reaction when he found out about her lie. But she was manipulated. And then, once his anger faded, he must have accepted it. I mean, let's face it. I don't think he fully understood what he was getting into with sally. Dating her is one thing, but moving in with her? I'm surprised it took him this long to go back to caroline.

Liam: [ Sighs ] I mean, I-I know you're not sally's biggest fan, but you don't think she deserved everything she went through last year, right? I mean, my dad basically put her through hell. I don't know. I kind of thought things might start going sally's way.

Steffy: Yeah, I'm sure this breakup is hitting her hard. But nothing keeps sally spectra down for long.

Danny: Happy to call you both a ride if you need.

Wyatt: No, I -- I live in walking distance.

Sally: Wow. Little forward.

Wyatt: And I will make sure she gets home safely.

Sally: Yeah. Wherever that is. I gave up my apartment when mr. Tall-dark-and-flaky whisked me off to new york. Can't crash at the office, right? Can't sleep on a pile of rubble all thanks to your father.

Wyatt: I wasn't a part of that.

Sally: Guilt by association.

Wyatt: Sally, come on. That's not fa--

Sally: I have nothing, wyatt. Nothing. Do you understand? I am sitting here tonight penniless, dumped, all because of your father. First bill. Then caroline. Every last one of you spencers makes me sick.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Ridge: Well, that's interesting.

Brooke: Hmm?

Ridge: Seems steffy is not my only child repairing a relationship. Thomas just texted me.

Brooke: Repairing? What do you mean? Something to do with sally?

Ridge: Unh-uh. Caroline.

Brooke: What?

Ridge: Yeah. Looks like both my grandchildren have their parents reunited.

Brooke: Well, that's good news. Kind of confusing, though, the way thomas whisked sally off to new york.

Ridge: Well, I guess we all knew it wasn't gonna last.

Brooke: I'm sure sally's furious. I can't imagine that she would take this well.

Wyatt: There's no reason to hate all spencers.

Sally: Okay. Not all spencers. Most spencers.

Wyatt: Two. Two spencers have wronged you. And -- and caroline is actually very likeable when you get to --

Sally: Okay. Not buying it. Uh, excuse me, danny, can I close out?

Wyatt: Wow. Something I said?

Sally: You didn't have to say anything.

Wyatt: Oh.

Sally: I could feel it. You don't want to hear my sob story. I totally get it.

Wyatt: I never said I didn't want to hear it.

Sally: "Caroline's actually very likeable."

Wyatt: She is.

Sally: All right. If you start defending your father next...

Wyatt: That's not gonna happen.

Sally: ...Or his damn skyscraper...

Danny: You have another card?

Sally: Why?

Danny: This one's been declined.

Sally: Declined?

Danny: 'Fraid so.

Sally: Uh... I, um... I don't normally carry cash. I, um --

Wyatt: I got it.

Sally: No, it's -- it's fine.

Wyatt: It's not a problem.

Sally: Wyatt, I'm not a charity case.

Wyatt: Fine. You can pay me back.

Sally: Just mind your own business, okay? I just -- I-I, um...

Wyatt: So, when's the remodel done?

Danny: Soon. It's actually gonna be a whole new look.

Wyatt: Nice, nice. I got a great tile guy if you want his number.

Sally: You know, I can, um -- I can do the dishes.

Wyatt: I got it. All right? Look this should be more than enough to cover it. It's the least I can do. It doesn't make up for my cousin, or my father's existence, but it's at least something.

Sally: Well, thank you.

Wyatt: You're welcome. Where are you going?

Sally: Probably gonna sleep on the beach.

Wyatt: Yeah, no, I can't let that happen.

Sally: Sand is soft.

Wyatt: Yeah, but you don't want to know where it ends up when you do. So why don't you come to my place, crash on the couch or something?

Sally: No.

Wyatt: I'm not asking. Let's go.

Liam: Well, she's still sound asleep, so we should probably -- ...sleep, too.

Steffy: [ Gasps ] What? Is she up? Is she hungry? Should I feed her?

Liam: No, no. She's asleep. Hey. Hey. She's asleep. Rest. Rest.

[ Sighs ] We probably have a long night ahead of us. Mm.

Steffy: Ohh. Mm. Mm-hmm.

Liam: Did you ever think it would be this way? Parenting?

Steffy: I didn't know what to think. I'm just glad I'm not doing it alone. And that you're here for our little girl.

Liam: It wasn't just for kelly, you know. I hope you feel that. I hope you -- I hope you know how much I love you, and that I'm here for you.

Steffy: [ Sighs ] And you never took this off. You never gave up.

Steffy: No. Never. Whoa! What are you doing? What are you -- what are you doing? No!

Liam: Trust me. Trust me.

[ Laughs ] Trust me.

Steffy: Wh-- no. Why are you --

Liam: Yes. Trust. Me.

Steffy: But I don't want -- okay. Okay. You had so much faith in us when I didn'T. I mean, you believed in us so strongly, you never took this off, even when the annulment papers were signed. I'm so grateful that my daughter is half you. Because you are the example she needs. How to be strong, how to be passionate, how to live. And I think, with the two of us together as a couple, we could be the example of how to love, too. Steffy forrester...

Steffy: [ Exclaims ]

Liam: ...Would you do me the honor of wearing this ring again? Would you be my wife?

Steffy: [ Laughing ] Yes! Of course. Yes.

Liam: May I?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: [ Laughing ] Good!

Steffy: Shh!

Liam: Hey, you weren't worried, were you? When I took your ring off?

Steffy: [ Chuckles ] Maybe just a little. I'm never taking it off again.

Liam: Yeah, that's the right answer. You, me, and kelly.

Steffy: Hm.

[ Kelly cries ]

[ Groans ] Rock, paper, scissors?

Liam: [ Sighs ] No, let's both go. We're doing this together, steffy. For the rest of our lives.

Brooke: So, what's a girl got to do to get you off that phone?

[ Laughs ] Well, that was quick. You were mid-text.

Ridge: Yeah, no, well, that's just my son's future. This -- this is mine. Hi.

Brooke: Hi. Wait, what happened? What -- what did he say to sally? What did she say?

Ridge: She was ranting and raving, apparently.

Brooke: Oh. Mm.

Ridge: I'm -- I'm just glad he's got that crazy redhead out of his life.

Brooke: [ Exclaims ]

Ridge: Hi.

Sally: This is a really bad idea.

Wyatt: I mean, it's not exactly the most comfortable couch in the world, but it sure beats sleeping on the beach, trust me.

Sally: You shouldn't do this. Really, you should seriously stay away from me.

Wyatt: It's only one night, sally. I don't think you're gonna bring total destruction on my life in one night.

Sally: I'm gonna go.

Wyatt: You know, you are stubborn, you know that? And you're prideful. And I get it. But you got to be a little realistic here. Your credit card just got declined. You have no money, no home. Where are you gonna go? And don't say "the beach" again, 'cause I'm -- I'm gonna flip out.

Sally: I don't know! Okay? Grams and coco are gone, and so are saul and darlita, and... I don't have any other friends to speak of.

Wyatt: So then -- so then why did you even come back to L.A.?

Sally: Instinct? I don't know. I always knew that I was gonna end up in los angeles. I was gonna make something of myself, become somebody -- a fashion icon. And...

[ Scoffs ] So when thomas gave me the old heave-ho, I just -- it just seemed right. That was really stupid, huh?

Wyatt: No. Not necessarily.

Sally: Yeah. Right. As if I was gonna make it. As if I ever had a chance. People like me, we don't make it big. People like me fail.

Wyatt: You didn't fail, sally, you were --

Sally: Failed at business. Failed at men -- first thomas, then liam, then thomas all over again. Failure after failure.

Wyatt: This is the alcohol talking. Why don't you just sleep it off for a couple hours? It'll make you feel better.

Sally: Sleep here?

Wyatt: Yeah.

Sally: On your couch?

Wyatt: Yes.

Sally: A spencer cou-- I would rather die.

Wyatt: Sally! You just need to chill out. My name doesn't mean anything, okay? Just -- just -- just sleep it off for a couple hours. You can apologize to me in the morning.

Sally: Apologize?!

Wyatt: Yeah.

Sally: Apol-- to you?! For what?! Apologize for the fact that i got screwed over? Apologize that your father has his damn skyscraper obsession, or somehow it was my fault that he wanted that building?

Wyatt: Okay, calm down. That's not what I meant. I meant that --

Sally: How calm would you be if a man a zillion times more powerful than you made it his mission to destroy you?

Wyatt: I'd feel horrible! All right? I understand why you're upset. But trust me, a good night's sleep might help you. So why don't you just sit down, sally?

Sally: Please don't touch me. Just please --

Wyatt: Just sit down on the couch.

Sally: I said please don't touch me!

[ Purse drops, items clatter ]

Wyatt: I'm sorry. I -- sally? Uh...

Sally: Money gone. Dignity gone. Dumped and alone.

Wyatt: Okay. First off, you're not alone here, okay?

Sally: But I am. Because of your father.

Wyatt: Okay. Sally -- sally, put the gun down.

Sally: Destroying my business... my life. Sally, put the gun down. Please.

Sally: Your damn father. Your whole damn family.

Wyatt: Right. That's what I'm saying, okay? I'm not him. I didn't do any of that stuff to you. It was him, okay?

[ Stammers ] I didn't do any of that stuff, sally.

[ Gunshot ]
