[ Cellphone rings ]

Steffy: Hi.

Bill: Has my prodigal son returned?

Steffy: He came home last night.

Bill: Really?

Steffy: Yeah. He didn't spend the night in san francisco.

Bill: Well, he shouldn't have gone in the first place. Especially not with that redhead.

Steffy: This has to stop.

Bill: Tell that to liam.

Steffy: Bill, what happened the other night, you threatening revenge on liam if brooke leaves you, it needs to stop.

Bill: He betrayed me. And he doesn't appreciate you. Not the way you deserve to be appreciated.

[ Door opens ]

Steffy: I got to go.

Liam: Hi.

Steffy: Hi.

Liam: What's going on?

[ Footsteps approach ]

Eric: You're moving a lot better.

Quinn: My back isn't hurting nearly as much. That massage really helped.

Eric: Oh, yes.

Quinn: Mm-hmm.

Eric: The massage.

Quinn: Mateo is really very good.

Eric: Mateo is really very attractive. And young.

Sheila: Thanks for coming by again.

Mateo: I can't stay long. I got to get to work.

Sheila: Oh, that's right. Mr. Estate manager. I bet they don't pay as well as I do, though, do they? Hey. [ Sighs ] You know, you and I, we have a deal. You're going to use your incredible talents to prove once and for all that quinn is not a devoted, loyal wife to eric. And you're gonna make your money. And that's gonna help your family. And I'm going to become mrs. Eric forrester again. And you're gonna make that happen. And don't even think about backing out. Trust me on that.

Quinn: You can't be serious. Mateo? Our estate manager?

Eric: Yes, and your personal masseur.

Quinn: Ha, ha! Well, he really is very good. But...that... really benefits the only man that I have eyes for.

Quinn: Well, if my back feels better, then it feels better for all those other activities, hmm?

Eric: I'm texting mateo. I want him to continue working his magic so that you can continue working yours.

[ Quinn laughs ]

Mateo: We have a deal, but I don't know.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Sheila: What do you mean, you don't know?

Mateo: Uh-oh.

Sheila: What?

Mateo: From mr. Forrester. "Mateo, mrs. Forrester said that you gave her a massage." See? I may be getting fired right now.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Sheila: Oh, no, I -- I don't think so.

Mateo: "It really helped her back. Thank you. On your way in today, please buy a massage table." Huh?

Sheila: [ Laughs ] Oh, gosh. Quinn is going to cheat on eric again. But this time, it's gonna be with you.

Justin: Then he's off to san fran with guess who?

Bill: Sally spectra. I know about that. What else?

Justin: Kid has a loose wallet. He's increased daycare. Place looks more like a kindergarten than a business.

Bill: Yeah, spending money like he thinks he's santa claus.

Justin: All he needs is a sleigh and some reindeer. Got to figure out how to stop him somehow.

Bill: I plan on doing just that.

Liam: So, are you surprised i came home the same day I left for the meeting with sally? Is that it? Steffy, I cut the trip short because I want you to know I respect your feelings. Please don't doubt my commitment to you. I love you.

Mateo: And it folds up if you want to use the room for something else.

Eric: Well, I don't think that's gonna be necessary. I think what we should do is make this room the official massage room. All right?

Quinn: Ooh, I like that.

Eric: Mateo, I want to thank you. You've done wonders for my wife's condition.

Mateo: It's just a back sprain. Very common. But you got to take it easy.

Quinn: Well, that's not really my style.

Quinn: Well, I'm gonna be better in a few days, I think. I just need a couple more treatments.

Mateo: It still hurts?

Quinn: Well, I mean, it hurts when I -- when I do that.

Mateo: We'll get you fixed.

Mateo: I just need a few moments to set up the room, and then we will get you on the table.

[ Knock on door ]

Sheila: Charlie. I don't remember summoning you.

Charlie: Yeah, well, this one's on my dime.

Sheila: And it's worth about that. What do you want?

Charlie: You. Out of town.

Sheila: You shouldn't use that tone with me.

Charlie: Oh, the queen of threats, huh? So, did you threaten the owner of that restaurant?

Sheila: What are you talking about?

Charlie: Il giardino. I hear you're pushing pasta over there.

Bill: How many, justin? How many meetings have they had?

Justin: What, sally and liam? Uh... seems every time I turn around, he's either over there or she's in the office.

Bill: And you think it's all business.

Justin: What else? He sees her as an investment.

Bill: I think he sees her as a lot more than that. Steffy asked liam not to go to san francisco with sally. What does he do? He ignores her and goes anyway.

Justin: Just to hold sally's hand while she met with those architects. Yeah, you got to wonder why.

Bill: I don'T. All the signs are there.

Justin: What signs? Wait, wait, wait. So you think liam has something for sally spectra? With a wife as incredible as steffy?

Steffy: Still wish you hadn't gone to san francisco with sally.

Liam: Yeah. Kind of thought we agreed to disagree about that one.

Steffy: I don't remember ever making that agreement.

Liam: [ Scoffs ]

Steffy: But I understand why you went. I didn't approve. I -- I don't approve. But, hey, it was your call.

Liam: Well... I mean, I appreciate that. Hey, I don't like when things come between us. But that's marriage, right? I mean, you have an issue, you communicate, you listen.

Liam: Steffy, I hardly think what's going on with my father --

Steffy: Liam, can you just please, please hear me out this time?

Liam: Okay.

Steffy: Bill has been exiled from his own company. It's wrong, and it's dangerous. You need to be very careful.

Sheila: [ Laughing ] Oh, charlie, charlie, charlie.

Charlie: Oh, you think this is funny? You think I don't know what's going on? Huh? That restaurant you're working at is almost right next door to forrester creations.

Sheila: So?

Charlie: So eric goes in there a lot.

Sheila: Hmm. That is a coincidence, isn't it?

Charlie: Hardly. I mean, you're stalking him like a vulture. And it's pointless, sheila. I mean, any -- any dreams you have of becoming mrs. Eric forrester again are totally stupid. So instead of pushing noodles, why don't you use your noodle? You have no chance. Zero.

Mateo: Mr. Forrester! I fixed the place up. What do you think?

Eric: It's really wonderful. Good job.

Mateo: I hope mrs. Forrester likes it.

Eric: I'm sure she will. I want a word with you before you start with mrs. Forrester.

Mateo: Uh, yeah. Yeah, certainly.

Eric: You've become very important to me, and to the property, managing the estate and, uh, my home.

Mateo: I'm just grateful for the opportunity.

Eric: Well, I gave it to you because I trust you.

Mateo: And I appreciate that.

Eric: Trust is very important to me.

Mateo: To me, too.

Eric: Then you understand. If somebody betrays me, they pay the price. A very steep price. I want you to remember that. Don't cross me, mateo. Not ever.

Mateo: I understand.

[ Door opens ]

Quinn: Oh! Eric.

Eric: Quinn. Mateo and I just had to clarify something. Have a good massage.

Quinn: I will. Wow! This place looks so serene.

Mateo: You ready?

Quinn: I'm ready if you are.

Justin: I don't know. Liam and sally spectra?

Bill: Maybe.

Justin: Seems that he's doing what he always does.

Bill: Needing to feel loved, worthy. Playing the hero. Rescuing the damsel in distress.

Justin: The way he bailed her out.

Bill: Do you have any idea what that insolent son of mine is costing me?

Justin: Well, now, let's see...

Bill: Millions. Tens of millions. Not to mention the excessive spending on employee benefits.

[ Sighs ] Worst of all, he's costing me my wife. And I've lost pretty much damn near everything. Brooke... I am not gonna lose brooke. And if I do, liam better have an army watching his back.

Justin: Hey, don't let steffy hear you talk like that.

Bill: She already has. I foresee big problems for her and liam. He's neglecting her, justin. And you don't neglect a woman like steffy and hang on to her.

Liam: I need to be careful with my dad?

Steffy: You have to take him seriously.

Liam: I'm serious enough to get rid of him and take over the company. How's that?

Steffy: Liam, that is what I'm talking about.

Liam: I did him a favor, steffy. I kept him out of prison.

Steffy: You blackmailed him.

Liam: Yes, and if I hadn't, he would have done something else. Probably something worse, 'cause the man is his own worst enemy.

Steffy: Oh, right now he thinks you're his worst enemy. He's powerful, and he's used to getting his way.

Liam: Yeah, well, his way is the wrong way.

Steffy: He lost his company. Brooke left him. You know that he's ruthless.

Liam: Steffy, I can handle my father.

Steffy: I'm not so sure. He's suffering over there. He's angry, and I just see this feud between you two ending in some kind of tragedy.

Liam: What -- what is this? What's going on here? Where is this coming from? Oh. He came to see you again, didn't he? And he got to you.

Liam: You're letting him get to you, steffy. You can't let my dad scare you. There's nothing he can do to me.

Steffy: He isn't scaring me.

Liam: Well, he's trying to get you on his side.

Steffy: His position has some legitimacy.

Liam: [ Huffs ] There's a woman a spencer. Louise. Been there 30 years. And I'm talking to her the other day, and she says it was the first time anyone's ever called her by her name on the executive floor. Can you imagine that? 30 years being treated like nothing but a number?

Steffy: I understand that. You taught your father a lesson. And you'll see that he's changed once he's come back.

Liam: He's not coming back.

Steffy: Then what do you expect him to do? Retire? He's not gonna do that.

Liam: I don't give a damn what he does. He's got enough money to buy a small country and make himself a dictator.

Steffy: Liam... your father is gonna come after you. I'm not sure where. I'm not sure when, but --

Liam: How? How, steffy? What's he gonna do? I've got the company, and I've got you. I've got you. That's all that matters to me.

Justin: I know that look. Liam may be your son, but you're not gonna let him get away with this. What are you gonna do, dollar bill?

Sheila: Zero chance with eric?

Charlie: That's funny. That's exactly what I said.

Sheila: You don't know me very well, charlie.

Charlie: But I do know quinn and eric. And nothing's gonna split them up.

Sheila: I am gonna get my husband back. And I'm going to be the best wife to eric. It's going to happen, charlie. I just need the right touch.

Mateo: You ready for the full treatment, mrs. Forrester?

Quinn: I am, mateo.

Mateo: I, uh, brought some of my special oil. Do you mind?

Quinn: Oh, not at all. I'm in your hands.

[ Groans ] Oh, yeah. Oh, that's good. Ohh, yeah.

Sheila: $200,000, mateo. That would do a lot for your family. Get the job done.
