Episode # 7655 ~ Brooke grills James about his medical decision regarding Sheila; Katie and Wyatt take their relationship to another level while attempting to keep their secret safe from Bill.

Brooke: Answer me, james -- the truth. Is sheila really that impaired that she has to stay here in eric's home?

James: Well, obviously, you don't think she is.

Brooke: I don't -- I-I-I don't know. I'm not a doctor. You are. That is why you're here. So tell me -- do you think she's up to her same old tricks, faking it, so that she can stay here at eric's longer? Just tell me the truth.

Sheila: [ Thinking ] Don't you dare, james. Don't you dare!

Bill: All right, what's next?

Justin: You don't want to take a breather? We've been going nonstop since i got here.

Bill: Time is money, my man. I don't like wasting either one. Now bring me up to date on the kepley acquisition. Tad seen the light, or do I have to apply a little pressure?

Justin: Actually, wyatt's been handling the negotiations, so he can fill you in.

Bill: Well, that would require wyatt being here. Where the hell is he, anyway?

Wyatt: You're quiet. You're too quiet. Say something.

Katie: I think words are so overrated.

Justin: You know, it's not like wyatt to blow this off. Maybe he got held up elsewhere.

Bill: What could be more fun than discussing mergers and acquisitions with your old man? Well, he's gonna have to catch up on his own. I'm gonna take this opportunity to touch base with my other son.

Justin: Oh. Liam?

Bill: Will. Haven't seen him in a few days. Gonna head over to katie's, spend some quality time with my boy.

Wyatt: Just say it. That was pretty damn close to perfection. Hmm?

Katie: [ Chuckles ] Yeah, you're right. It was pretty damn close.

Wyatt: Mm.

Brooke: Why are you hesitating?

James: Brooke, I'm not gonna give you the answers that you want to hear. Yes, I know we all have reasons not to trust sheila, but her condition is very real. You can't expect me to say she's capable of taking care of herself after suffering a concussion and a traumatic blow to the head.

Brooke: I realize that, but i also realize that she could milk this situation for her own purposes. Are you saying she's not?

James: I'll tell you the same thing as I told eric. I think it would be best for her if she stays here for a few days until she fully recovers. I mean, what if she leaves here now and she collapses again or, god forbid, anything worse should happen? I mean, could you imagine the guilt that eric would live with?

Brooke: Well, you are the professional. And you know best. So if you think she should stay here for a few more days, then... just know that I'll be back. And when I am, I want sheila gone.

[ Door closes ]

Sheila: God. For a moment, i wasn't sure if you were gonna sell me out or not. Thank you. Just know this, james. If you think you're gonna turn on me or you refuse to play along, I will reveal your dirty little secret. Count on it.

Justin: Uh, hold on, bill. You know what? We never got a chance to review this.

Bill: All right. I'll take it with me and get back to you. I'm anxious to see my son.

Wyatt: Katie logan of the famed logan sisters.

Katie: Oh, my god. No, you didn'T. You did not just compare me to my sisters already.

Wyatt: You were completely different than your sisters.

Katie: Yeah, I know. I'm the brunette sister, so, clearly, I'm boring.

Wyatt: No. Different as in... I've finally gotten to spend a lot of time with you.

Katie: Mm-hmm.

Wyatt: And I've gotten to know you... in a -- a whole new way.

Katie: [ Chuckles ] Uh-huh.

Wyatt: Look, you're smart, and you're strong and you're determined. And I know this is kind of a generalization, but... a lot of guys go for the... giggly blond type.

Katie: Mm!

Wyatt: But me? I'm into brunettes who run a little deep, who, you know, have a sense of who they are, and i am babbling, and I'm gonna stop. AKatie: You are. But by all means, please, babble away.

Wyatt: Ah. Seriously, katie... you're an incredible woman... and one who probably hasn't been fully appreciate until right now. And there's one more thing.

Katie: What?

Wyatt: You are insanely sexy.

Brooke: Where's quinn?

Eric: She went for a run? She's trying to -- trying to stay as far away from sheila as possible, I think.

Brooke: Yeah, well, considering what happened between those two when they were alone together, that's probably a good idea.

Eric: You're still suspicious, aren't you?

Brooke: I just think she's trying to work her way into your life somehow. She did bring you the information of ridge and quinn.

Eric: Yeah, well, I'm grateful to her for that.

Brooke: What are your feelings?

Eric: What are my feelings? About what?

Brooke: About your marriage. What about quinn? I know that you were upset with her. You were gonna divorce her, but then you let her back into your life. And ridge -- I know you haven't fully forgiven him yet.

Eric: No, I haven'T. Have you?

Brooke: The point is, if you're not over this thing between your son and your wife, I think sheila senses it. She's trying to find an opening.

James: I should get going.

Sheila: Not so fast. I want to make sure we understand one another.

James: What is there to understand? You're blackmailing me. Unless I go along with you --

Sheila: I will expose your addiction to painkillers. And you will lose your license permanently.

James: I told you, I have stopped. I'm in recovery. I've turned my life around.

Sheila: Which is what I am doing. Don't say anything and I keep your secret, but you betray me...

James: What do you hope to gain from this? Really? Do you honestly think the forresters, let alone eric, are gonna let you back into their lives?

Eric: Just about the proudest moment of my life, hanging this portrait of quinn up there above the mantel. Opening a whole new chapter for me. Someone caring and supportive, unquestionably loyal... until she turned to ridge.

Brooke: Yet you allowed her back into your life, anyway.

Eric: Because I love her, brooke. And I believe her when she says nothing like that'll ever happen again. In spite of the fact that she despises sheila for telling me the truth about her and ridge...

[ Sighs ] ...I can't tell you what it was like to walk in here and... and see sheila on the floor, quinn there? I honestly thought sheila was dead. I thought...my wife had killed her.

Brooke: Eric... you have a way of taking damaged women and making them feel whole again. You did that with me, with quinn, with sheila. You just have this goodness in your heart, this goodness that you want to share with everybody. But you can't, not with sheila we can't forget everything that she's done. She can't be trusted -- ever.

Sheila: You think I'm delusional, that i have zero chance with eric? What you don't know is that his wife was unfaithful.

James: Unfaithful how?

Sheila: Quinn had an affair. Yes, she betrayed that wonderful, devoted man with another, and it wasn't just any other man. It was with ridge. Yes, his own son. That's why I'm here, james -- to protect him.

James: That is quite a betrayal. But you need to be realistic. You don't have a chance to work your way back into eric's life. He's obviously forgiven quinn. Otherwise, the woman wouldn't still be here.

Sheila: Oh, you mark my words. I will be a part of eric's life again. And my portrait will be the next to hang above the fireplace in the forrester home. And I will make that happen.

Bill: Katie? Katie, you home?! Will? Anybody here?

Katie: Oh, my god! Oh, my god! Go, go, go, go, go, go in there! Go! Go! Hurry up! Go! Go, go, go, go, go!

Bill: You guys in there? Had a few minutes, so I thought I'd come by and see -- you're in bed.

Katie: Yeah. Yeah, I'm in bed.

Bill: What's going on? You're not feeling well? Something got you down?

Katie: No, I'm -- I'm feeling fine.

Bill: Why are you... are you... is there a man in there? A man?

Katie: Oh, my -- is that so inconceivable?

Bill: No, no, no, no, no! I'm just -- you know, I'M... well, I'M... I'm happy for you.

Katie: Great. Thanks, bill. Now, will you please get the hell out of my bedroom?

Bill: Why don't you introduce us?

Katie: I'm going out on a limb here and saying that he probably doesn't want to meet my ex-husband at this moment in time. Might put a damper on things.

Bill: Come on. That's ridiculous. We're all adults here.

Katie: He's in the shower.

Bill: I don't hear any water.

Katie: Bill, get out!

Bill: Okay. All right. Fine. Oh, here. And, katie... wow! This is great. Congratulations.

Katie: Go! Leave!

Bill: Uh...

Katie: What now?

Bill: Nothing. One more thing. He's a good guy, right? We have a son together, and i just want to know that I'm gonna like him.

Katie: Oh, I can almost guarantee that you're gonna like him.

Eric: Brooke, I appreciate the support, but in a couple of days -- even less, maybe -- sheila will be out of this house.

Brooke: But not out of your life, if she has her way. Don't worry. I'll be back. And I'll personally make sure she leaves -- for good this time.

[ Door opens, closes ]

James: Your portrait, hanging over the fireplace downstairs?

Sheila: It is not as absurd as you make it sound.

James: Oh, sheila, please, it is beyond absurd. Will you listen to me?

Sheila: No! I want this life. It's the life that I had before I -- I gave in to my darkest demons and ruined everything! Eric loved me once, and he's going to love me again. Once he sees the woman I can be, the wife I can be, what he thought he had in quinn... before she proved she wasn't worthy of him, and she's going to do that again. James, I need this. I need this place. I need this family. I need eric's love to make me whole. Life just isn't worth living without him. There's no way I'm leaving.

James: Well, you have to know quinn will never let you stay here. She sees you as a threat.

Sheila: Oh, I'm a threat. And I'm her worst nightmare in more ways than one.

Sheila: It's not that you brought me into your home, eric. It's that you believed me. It's helping me believe in myself. You mark my words, james -- eric and I will have a future together.

James: And the current mrs. Forrester?

Sheila: Quinn's days as the matriarch to this family, they're numbered. It's just a matter of time.

Bill: What do you mean, you guarantee I'm gonna like him? Someone I know?

Katie: You know what? You can't just barge in my bedroom like this. You should really call first.

Bill: Well, technically, I'm not barging 'cause you gave me the key. Anyway, I'm here to see my son. Is he here?

Katie: Is your son here? Um...will is at practice, and then he's spending the night with his aunt donna.

Bill: Oh, that's right. I forgot about the practice. All right. Well, I will pick him up there, and then I'll drop him off at donna's, since you're, uh... you know what you are.

Katie: Since I'm none of your business. Can you grab his overnight bag? He forgot it. It's by the front door.

Bill: You will always be my business because we have a child together.

Katie: Great.

Bill: And, yes, I will grab it on the way out. And, katie...

Katie: Oh, my god.

[ Lock clicks ]

[ Sighs ]

Wyatt: [ Laughing ] Oh! That was insane!

Katie: That was not funny.

Wyatt: It was kind of funny.

Katie: It was kind of funny. But did you hear what he said? "A man? A man, katie? Are there pigs flying in a frozen hell?" I mean, what --

Wyatt: Don't let him get to you, okay?

Katie: I mean, if he only knew.

Wyatt: I know. He has a key?

Katie: Yeah, we might have to do something about that.

Wyatt: Yeah. I think so.

Katie: You know what?

Wyatt: Hmm?

Katie: I don't care what bill or anyone else thinks or says. I want to stay right here, in this moment, with you.
