Episode # 7508 ~ Wyatt admits to Liam he has an ulterior motive for expediting his divorce with Steffy; Quinn gives Ridge more of a reason to accept her as a valuable member of the Forrester family.

Quinn: Eric! I thought you were in Genoa City.

Ridge: Just because my dad's on a business trip doesn't mean you don't get your after-work martini. All right. How about a toast?

Quinn: To your father's safe travels?

Ridge: Yes. And to you keeping the fire burning while he's gone.

Steffy: Thank you, Sawyer. And you'll take care of the follow-up call, Rick?

Rick: Mm-hmm. As soon as the Paris office opens. Contracts aren't ready.

Steffy: [Sighs] That is next on my agenda.

Rick: And see, you thought being CEO was all about posting sexy pictures of yourself. Hey, come on. I'm kidding!

Steffy: That was Wyatt's idea, not mine.

Rick: That's true. Very true. Hey, can I ask you something? How's he doing? I mean, I--I heard that the divorce went through.

Steffy: He's, uh, he's doing well...considering.

Rick: Well, that's a tough situation. Two brothers.

Steffy: That worries me. Their relationship is strained enough as it is. I hope this doesn't make it worse.

Liam: So, uh, I mean, can I get you anything? Water? Beer?

Wyatt: Uh, a beer if you're having one.

Liam: Yeah.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Liam: Yeah.

Wyatt: And thanks again for the messages. I-- I've been meaning to respond, I just--

Liam: No, no, uh, don't, uh... Don't even worry about it, you know? I'm just glad you're here so that we can, uh, talk.

Wyatt: Yeah. Thanks.

Liam: Thank you. Uh, please.

Wyatt: [Laughing] I just--

Liam: I--

Wyatt: Yeah. I-- I just want you to know....I-I get now that ending my marriage was the only option. For Steffy, for you, for me. For everybody, really. Uh, And, uh...I just-- I just-- I want my-- I want my brother back.

Steffy: I hope it's not a huge ordeal. I hope Wyatt will adjust.

Rick: Hey, you're starting a new life with Liam. Of course he's gonna adjust. Wyatt is a strong, independent guy. The way that he feels about you... That's just not something that's gonna happen overnight.

Wyatt: I mean, we've just been at odds for so long. Fighting over women, Dad, business, everything. I mean, it just seems so pointless when we butt heads when we could be working together. I mean, I think about what we could accomplish if we weren't...competing.

Liam: Spencer brothers take on the world, huh?

Wyatt: Heck yeah!

Liam: [Chuckles]

Pam: Katie, you are such a lifesaver!

Katie: Anytime. Happy to help.

Pam: And thank you for sneaking in the back like I asked. I mean, who needs Quinn asking questions about what I'm making.

Katie: Yeah, is, uh... is she around?

Pam: Mm, not that I know of, but you can't be too careful with her. Do you know that she actually thinks that Eric should give up eating sweet altogether?

Katie: That's crazy.

Pam: Right? That's crazy. So if she catches me, I'm just gonna pretend I'm whipping up a kale salad.

Katie: Ooh!

Pam: But the real plan is to have a big, beautiful batch of fresh Meyer lemon bars waiting for Eric when he gets back from Genoa city tomorrow.

Katie: Well, that sounds like a great plan.

Pam: Uh-huh.

Katie: Did Eric tell you his plan? To make Ridge co-C.E.O.?

Pam: What?!

Katie: And, apparently, it was all Quinn's idea.

Quinn: Not quite as good as your father makes them, but it's drinkable.

Ridge: He's better at some things, I'm better at others.

Quinn: Mm, that smile on your face -- is it because you and Eric talked about the C.E.O. Position?

Ridge: He said he would reassess my place in the company when he got back. If I get to be C.E.O. Again, it's all because of you.

Steffy: I appreciate you getting this done so quickly.

Chapman: No problem! Just sign right there.

Steffy: "Steffy Forrester, C.E.O." -- That doesn't get old.

Chapman: [Laughs] I imagine not. Need anything else?

Steffy: No, I am good. Thank you very much, Chapman. All signed and ready for your conference call. I am out of here.

Rick: Okay. Going home to Liam?

Steffy: Yes, I am.

Rick: You know what you should do? You should elope.

Steffy: You think?

Rick: You know, take a -- take a nice, long honeymoon, you know? Like a few months, or... I don't know, hell, take a whole year off.

Steffy: Huh. Gee, I wonder who I could ask to take over.

Rick: Hmm. Now that I think about it, you know, uh, I wouldn't mind stepping up to fill those C.E.O. Shoes.

Steffy: Huh.

Wyatt: [Inhales sharply] Aah!

Liam: Hurts, huh?

Wyatt: Yeah, like a son of a --

Liam: Yeah, I know, I know. I went with Steffy to a couple of her treatments, and... doesn't look pleasant.

Wyatt: [Scoffs] The things I do for you. Mm, mm, mm.

Liam: Pour moi?

Wyatt: Yeah, pour toi! And Steffy, you know? I don't want -- the two of you are together now. I don't want to walk around with this thing, making you both uncomfortable. Okay, fine, I don't want to be uncomfortable about it, either.

Liam: Yeah.

Wyatt: Yeah. It just reminds me of how crazy my mom can get. You do know how horrified I was about what she did to you, right?

Liam: Yeah, I know.

Wyatt: When I found you, I wanted to save you. Don't doubt that for a second. I wanted to bring you back to your life. What I didn't factor in is that I was bringing you right back to Steffy. And I just -- I loved her so much. I couldn't let go of her. But I can now. I can do that. It's time to be mature. Be a man. I'm gonna find a woman who doesn't know your name 'cause I am so tired of playing second fiddle to you. It's disgusting.

Liam: Yeah.

Wyatt: I'm gonna -- I'm gonna find a woman who doesn't have a history with you, someone, you know... she's into me because I'm me.

Liam: You deserve that.

Pam: No, no, Katie. You must have misunderstood. There is no way on earth that Quinn would want Ridge to have any power at Forrester creations.

Katie: Well, that's what Eric said.

Pam: But -- [Laughs] They despise each other! [Sighs] Well, it's a good thing you brought a lot of eggs 'cause now I got to make a cake for Ridge to congratulate him. My baking list just got longer.

Quinn: If you end up sharing the title with Steffy, you're gonna have your father to thank for it, not me.

Ridge: All right. But you're the one that put that idea in his head.

Quinn: Only because I know he's wanted a compromise like this all along. Your father really respects you.

Ridge: As I do him.

Quinn: So what are you gonna say to Steffy? I can't imagine she's gonna react very well.

Ridge: Steffy's gonna be fine. We love each other, we're gonna do what's best for the family and the company. Make dad proud. If this happens, it's all because of you. I'm not gonna forget that.

[Car approaches]

Steffy: Look at you.

Liam: You know something, I will never take for granted the sight of you walking through that door. Welcome home.

Steffy: No wine for you?

Liam: Uh, actually, I have a bit of a beer to finish.

Steffy: Oh.

Liam: Wyatt and I kind of had a toast earlier.

Steffy: Wyatt was here?

Liam: Yeah. [Chuckles] Yeah.

Steffy: Toasting? Not arguing.

Liam: He is taking this a lot better than I would have, a lot better than...I did.

Steffy: Yeah, he is. He's getting the tattoo removed.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Mm-hmm.

Liam: It's like it gives me hope. For the first time in my life, I think I might have a real relationship with my brother. Finally.

Steffy: I wanted that for you two. Poor Wyatt. I wish I could tell him the tattoo removal gets easier.

Liam: I wish I could tell him getting over you gets easier.

Katie: Now, now, don't get ahead of yourself. Eric only said he was considering it.

Pam: Yeah, and all of this because Quinn wants this to happen?

Katie: Apparently.

Pam: I wonder if she might be trying to win Ridge over. You remember the way she did with me? Pretending she was my friend.

Katie: That could be it.

Pam: Right? No. No, because Ridge would never fall for that. Except, Katie, yesterday at the office, he was talking to us all, saying that we should accept Quinn more.

Katie: Really?

Pam: Yeah.

Katie: You don't think that he's starting to...

Pam: No!

Katie: No?

Pam: [Laughing] No! Katie, he can't stand her! [Scoffs] And I can't imagine that he ever will.

Quinn: If I have anything to do with healing the rift between you and your father, I'll be thrilled.

Ridge: You really do want to bring this family together, don't you?

Quinn: It was painful, knowing what being with me was costing your father.

Ridge: You know, this whole boycott... it was to protect my dad because I thought you were coming in here to destroy him. But it turns out I have nothing to worry about. Good. Thank you.

Quinn: [Laughs] No. No, you don't have to thank me.

Ridge: Yes, I do, my dad told me to thank you, so that's what I'm doing.

Quinn: Oh! Oh, well, then he raised a very good boy.

Ridge: Right? Really. Thanks.

Quinn: You deserve it.

Steffy: I mean, it's a little red, but...

Liam: It's gone.

Steffy: It's too bad. I was really excited about my next appointment.

Liam: Sure. Sure. Yeah.

Steffy: Well, the doctor was cute.

Liam: Say what now?

Steffy: ...If I were single but I'm not. I'm with someone who makes me really happy, and he's handsome.

Liam: Love-of-your-life kind of thing?

Steffy: Mm-hmm.

Liam: Hmm. Sounds like a keeper, I guess.

Steffy: Oh, what we've been through? Definitely a keeper.

Liam: You know, I made you a promise... ...that when the tattoo was gone and this finger was healed...

Steffy: Liam...

Liam: Steffy, you and I have talked a lot about our future, haven't we? We know exactly how we want it to look. And I don't want to wait anymore to be with you. I can't. I can't. You are the most exquisite woman I've ever known. Steffy Forrester, will you spend your life with me? Will you be my wife?

Steffy: Of course! Yes, of course!

Liam: I was a little nervous there...

Steffy: [Laughs] Oh, my -- of course!

Liam: Yes! Okay. Come here.

Steffy: Oh, wow. It's beautiful.

Liam: Huh? Much better, right?

Steffy: Yes, it is. Wow.

Liam: Well, there's one more thing.

Steffy: Okay.

Liam: Uh, it's a little more exciting than a tattoo...

Steffy: No, we don't. This is perfect.

Liam: I think we should get matching tongue piercings. Yeah, I think we can actually do it here.

Steffy: What?

Liam: I just need to find a towel for the blood...

Steffy: Ew. No!

Liam: Maybe like a clamp...

Steffy: You're not serious.

Liam: No, no, no. You need a guy that's, like, a rebel. You need a guy that's gonna mutilate himself for you, don't you?

Steffy: Hey, no, no. I -- I need you.

Liam: Yeah?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: You sure? Not too boring?

Steffy: Nothing boring about us. Never will be.

Pam: Tell Brooke I say hello.

Katie: Oh, Pam says hello. Yeah, yeah, I'm over at Eric's, making lemon bars. I know. I know, it's -- it's super-exciting. Uh, hope wants a care package.

Pam: Aww!

Katie: You know, I-I'm really glad that you went to visit her. I think it's good for you. But you shouldn't stay away too long. You know, Ridge misses you. He can't wait for you to get back so he can marry you.

Quinn: It's strange, isn't it? Being able to talk to each other like this?

Ridge: Yeah. You know what's even stranger? Me looking up there and not getting physically ill. Watch this. There, no gag reflex.

Quinn: You know, that might be the nicest thing you've ever said to me.

Ridge: You know why? I can be really charming sometimes.

Quinn: Dangerously.

Ridge: I really thought you were gonna walk in here and destroy my family, destroy this company. But look at us -- we're still here, weeks in, and the sky hasn't fallen.

Quinn: Hmm! No, it hasn't, chicken little.

Ridge: Chicken little? Unh-unh, more of a cocky-locky kind of guy.

Quinn: Mnh-mnh-mnh-mnh-mnh. Because you were the ringleader, which makes you, Ridge Forrester, chicken little.

Ridge: Mm, which makes you what? The fox that eats everybody in the end?

Quinn: Is that how that fairy tale ends?

Ridge: Pretty sure they -- they don't kiss in the end, the chicken and the fox.

Quinn: God, you know, I don't like all of those kissy fairy tales anyway. Teaching little girls that a prince is gonna save you in the end -- it's ridiculous.

Ridge: It is ridiculous. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna call these guys, tell them no more princes saving the day. It's done.

Quinn: Oh, well, cheers to that.

Ridge: Cheers to you.

Quinn: Mm.

Ridge: And cheers to you. Here you go.

Quinn: Oh, and cheers to no longer feeling sick when you see me above the mantle. Hmm.

Ridge: You know what, Quinn, I could do one better.

Quinn: Hmm?

Ridge: I actually now look forward to seeing you. In the flesh. So, yes, we have turned a corner, haven't we? Quite a lady. And I'm gonna be C.E.O. because of you.

Quinn: [Laughs]

Ridge: Ahh! This is great! Thank you.

Katie: Am I interrupting something?
