["O Little Town of Bethlehem" plays]

Eric: [Sighs]

[Glasses clink]

Eric: Merry Christmas, my love. Your mother would be so happy knowing you're here. We're both very grateful you've come home... where you belong.

[Water running]

Rick: Honey? Honey, you almost ready? You know my dad is expecting us.

Caroline: I'm hurrying.

[Water stops]

Caroline: Rick, I can't do the button.

Rick: Oh, shh, shh. It's okay. It's all right. Let me see here. See, see? [Smooches] Crisis averted.

Caroline: Mm. My hero.

Rick: Hero?

Caroline: Mm-hmm.

Rick: Does that mean I'm gonna get everything on my Christmas wish list?

Caroline: About that -- I -- you know, I just really didn't have time to go shopping this year what with the spur-of-the-moment wedding and the honeymoon. I hope you won't be disappointed.

Rick: Our first Christmas together as husband and wife -- I was just hoping for something more memorable.

Caroline: Does that qualify?

Rick: Mm-hmm.

Caroline: Mm-hmm? [Chuckles]

Pam: {singing}  Dancing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh over the fields we go laughing all the way bells on bobtail ring making spirits bright oh, what fun it is to sing in a sleighing song tonight.

Eric: How's it going in here?

Pam: [Chuckles] How about you tell me?

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Pam: Be honest.

Eric: It's perfection, as always.

Pam: Yes!

Eric: [Laughs]

Pam: By the way, I saw it earlier.

Eric: What?

Pam: Out on the terrace. The bluebird on my shoulder. Remember -- Steph said she'd be that bluebird perched on my shoulder. She's here, Eric. She's with us.

Eric: Yeah. Yeah.

Pam: Yeah.

Thorne: Wasn't the same around here without you.

Ridge: Hey.

Thorne: How are you doing, man? I missed you, big brother. I have a surprise for you.

Felicia: I don't believe it! Oh, my gosh! Merry Christmas, you big lug.

Ridge: Oh, same old Fifi.

Kristen: Oh, same old Ridge.

Ridge: Hey.

Kristen: Handsome as ever.

Felicia: What?

Ridge: And that's why you're my favorite.

Felicia: Hey!

Thorne: Some things never change.

Kristen: Oh, Thorne.

Felicia: That's right. That's the way he goes.

Kristen: Yeah, he says that...

Caroline: That package was not there earlier.

Rick: Oh, that package?

Caroline: Oh, yes.

Rick: Well, it looks like Santa Claus came early. I guess you should open it.

Caroline: [Chuckles] It's -- it's a photo album of our honeymoon.

Rick: Yeah.

Caroline: [Chuckles]

Rick: What?

Caroline: How would you feel about volume two?

Rick: [Chuckles]

Caroline: [Chuckles]

Rick: We didn't.

Caroline: Oh, we did.

[Laughter]

Caroline: [Laughs]

Rick: I love it. I love you. Merry Christmas, Mrs. Forrester.

Caroline: Merry Christmas.

Felicia: Brooke must have been surprised to see you.

Thorne: Well, she's going to be even more surprised when she sees R.J.

Ridge: He arrived last night, but Logan doesn't know.

Kristen: [Smooches]

Eric: So, Tony and Zende -- what's going on?

Kristen: Oh, Zende just wanted to visit some old L.A. buddies, and Tony's just dropping him off.

Eric: Good. And Tony? How's his health?

Kristen: Oh, my gosh, Dad. He is doing amazing. We feel so blessed.

Pam: Well, there's a lot of that going around now.

Eric: Yes, your aunt has a new man in her life.

Pam: Oh, now, Eric, I didn't mean that.

Felicia: Aunt Pam has a new boyfriend?

Pam: Oh. [Chuckles] Well, kind of. His -- his name is Charlie, and I'll wait till Tony gets here to tell you all about it.

Thorne: Ah, well, wait no longer. Here he is.

Pam: Oh.

Aly: Merry Christmas, Dad.

Thorne: Merry Christmas, honey.

Ridge: Oh, brother, good to see you.

Tony: How are you, Ridge?

Eric: Merry Christmas. Hi, sweetheart.

Thorne: How are you, my brother?

Tony: I love this holiday.

Eric: How is it that the two of you are together?

Aly: Oh, we ran into each other on the way in.

Eric: How are things at the mission?

Aly: Busy. Dayzee's still there, but she'll be by later.

Eric: Well, she better be. I mean, Marcus is still in South Africa. She needs to be with her family.

[Knock on door]

Eric: Oh, here.

Ridge: Allow me.

Eric: Uh, come in. Come in. You brought something for me? It's for me?

Ridge: [Sighs]

Thorne: I got it. He's good, all right?

Ridge: Okay. [Clears throat] Wow.

Brooke: [Sighs] Merry Christmas, Ridge.

Ridge: Merry Christmas, Logan.

Brooke: Oh, I have, um, some presents in the car for everybody.

Ridge: Oh, and I'm gonna help you with that, but...open my present first.

Brooke: Okay...

R.J.: Merry Christmas, Mom.

Brooke: Oh! Oh, my God. Honey, oh! Oh, come here. I can't believe this. This is the best present ever. Oh, my gosh. You look amazing. [Chuckles]

Ridge: Come here.

Brooke: You know what? Having my son home for Christmas -- that is the best present ever.

Ridge: And you wanted to get her perfume.

R.J.: Not just any perfume -- French perfume.

Ridge: Kid's got expensive taste.

Brooke: [Chuckles]

R.J.: Nothing's too good for mom.

Brooke: Oh, thank you, sweetie. [Smooches] That's so sweet.

Rick: Ho, ho, ho, Forresters! [Chuckling] Do I know you?

R.J.: It's me, Rick. R.J.

Rick: No. No, it can't be. R.J.? He was this little guy. Who's this grown man in the room? Somebody tell me who this guy is.

Caroline: You know, video chatting is so much fun, but it's so nice to finally meet you in person, R.J.

R.J.: You, too.

Pam: Okay, people. I really need some volunteers in the kitchen. Uh, Felicia, Kristen. Oh, that's okay, Brooke. We're good now. Come on, girls.

Brooke: I'm getting hungry.

Kristen: Sorry. [Chuckles]

Brooke: Hurry. Hurry up. [Chuckling]

[Indistinct conversation]

Ridge: So, did you tell your mom?

R.J.: About going to school in Ojai next term?

Ridge: Yeah. He's already enrolled, and he's looking forward to it, aren't you?

R.J.: A bunch of my friends from L.A. go there, but the best part is I'll be near you and mom.

Brooke: [Chuckles]

Felicia: So, I'm in charge of stuffing.

Pam: Uh, oh, no, no, no, no. No. Steph loves my stuffing best. I'm -- I'm sorry.

Kristen: It's okay.

Felicia: Pam...

Kristen: Pam, it's okay. It's okay.

Pam: [Crying]

Kristen: We feel it, too.

Felicia: Her presence -- everywhere in this house.

Pam: I know.

Kristen: It's why we all feel the closest to her here.

Felicia: Home and family -- that's what mom was all about.

Kristen: Especially during the holidays. [Chuckling] Now you got us going.

Felicia: Ready?

Pam: Antler love!

Ridge: Haven't had a chance to congratulate the newlyweds. Congratulations. Lucky man, Rick... in more ways than one.

Aly: Hey, have you heard from Hope? Is she all right?

Brooke: She will be. She just needs some time.

Thorne: Is everything okay over here?

Brooke: Oh, yeah. Yeah, just Aly being her sweet, caring self.

Thorne: [Chuckles]

Brooke: I see so much of you and Darla in her.

Thorne: Are you going to see Donna and Katie?

Brooke: Yes, I am. It's been a tough year for the Logan sisters, but...I'm hoping it will be a fresh start. Oh! Look! [Laughs]

Thorne: Oh, attention, holiday revelers! What you've all be waiting for --

Aly: Grandpa's famous eggnog.

Eric: Now, here we are, ladies and gentlemen. You all know how much Stephanie loved my eggnog.

Rick: Uh, well...

Eric: All right, all right, stretching the truth a little.

[Laughter]

Eric: But she always humored me, and I'm assuming that you will allow the rest of the family to humor me, as well. Good. Thank you.

[Laughter]

Eric: All right, everyone. Happy holidays!

All: Happy holidays!

Tony: Feliz Navidad!

Eric: Here, put that here. Put it right there.

Tony: Feliz Navidad, also, right?

Eric: And Feliz Navidad, too. Put it right over here.

(Indistinct conversion)

Eric: All right, everybody. If you would -- if you would just, uh, sort of -- if you'd sort of indulge the old man here.

Felicia: You're not old, Daddy.

[Laughter]

Eric: We're all missing Stephanie, of course. And we're missing Bridget and Logan and Hope. In the meantime, we're making -- we're making new memories here, all of us, as a family. To peace on earth and goodwill to all.

All: Here, here.

Tony: Salud.

Ridge: Here's to dad.

Kristen: To mom.

Felicia: To this crazy, glorious family.

Thorne: And to the birth of a child long ago that forever changed the world.

Eric: Sounds like a segue to me.

Ridge: Come here. Now, when I was a boy, we would draw names to see who got to place the baby Jesus in the stable.

Brooke: And I think it's your turn this time, honey.

["Away in a Manger" plays]

All: Away in a manger, no crib for his bed the little lord Jesus lay down his sweet head the stars in the sky looked down where he lay the little lord Jesus asleep on the hay away in a manger, no crib for his bed the little lord Jesus lay down his sweet head the stars in the sky looked down where he lay the little lord Jesus asleep on the hay

Eric: Whatever happens with you and Brooke, you're not leaving L.A. again. This family needs you. I need you.

Ridge: I need you, too, Dad. Come here.

[Indistinct conversation]

Felicia: Okay, everybody, listen up. Tony actually has a good idea for a change.

Pam: No!

Tony: I-I think would be a very nice way --

Felicia: We're all gonna say what Christmas means to us.

Tony: But -- but -- but in five words or less.

Felicia: That's right.

Kristen: Oh. Kind of a little holiday tweet. Holiday tweet.

Brooke: Honey, you start.

R.J.: Presents.

Kristen: Yes!

Eric: Okay. Good one.

Rick: Um, mistletoe.

Caroline: Oh. More mistletoe.

Pam: Oh, you guys have a one-track mind.

Felicia: Ski boots, Daddy. Hint, hint. [Chuckling]

Thorne: Daughters.

Aly: Dads. And grandpas.

Felicia: Yes.

Pam: Sisters. [Chuckling]

Tony: Each other.

Kristen: Yeah.

Thorne: Wow.

Brooke: Sons!

Eric: Family.

Ridge: This. This is Christmas -- three generations of Forresters around a Christmas tree. We're strong, resilient, and united again.

Thorne: Not exactly five words, big brother, but, hey.

[Laughter]

Ridge: Dad, help me out.

Eric: I, uh -- I think this is Christmas, yes. And I thank you all for being here. I know you're all very busy. I love that you came home again. It means so much to me. It gives me so much joy. There's really now way I can, uh, well, express it. But I could, actually.

Tony: Oh, no!

Pam: No!

Thorne: Come on!

Kristen: Are you kidding? We're singing?

Eric: Joy to the world, the lord is come
