Donna: Wow.
Caroline: Oh, I am so glad you guys could make it.
Brooke: The room is fabulous.
Caroline: The staff did a terrific job. Hey, um, you didn't happen to see Rick on your way in by chance, did you?
Brooke: No.
Caroline: I just kind of expected him here by now.
Donna: Well, since he's in the fashion show, he'll be here. [Chuckles]
Caroline: I'm gonna go check for him backstage.
Brooke: Good luck.
Donna: Raise lots of money.
Caroline: That's the idea.
Donna: Sure you're gonna be able to stay away from Bill?
Brooke: Uh, yes. I already told you.
Donna: Let's be honest. You've never really been good at denying yourself handsome, sexy men.
Brooke: Well, I guess I have to learn. I don't want to come between Bill and Katie. She deserves to have a fabulous, wonderful, healthy relationship, and I want her to be happy. So, whatever was going on between Bill and me, it's... it's over.
Waiter: Someone will be right with you.
Bill: Thank you.
Katie: Thanks.
[Both laugh]
Bill: You look like you're in shock.
Katie: Well, it isn't every day that my business titan husband clears his schedule for me and takes me to lunch.
Bill: Shame on me. You deserve the attention.
Katie: Seriously, making it where we can spend time together? Thank you.
Waiter: Would you like some champagne?
Woman: Thank you very much.
Waiter: You're welcome.
Woman: Thank you.
Caroline: Oh, you made it. Thank you so much for coming.
Woman: Happy to support the foundation.
Woman 2: It's wonderful what you're doing here.
Caroline: Thank you so much. Well, come on in.
Woman: Thank you.
Caroline: Absolutely.
Danielle: Hi, Honey.
Caroline: [Gasps] Mom!
Danielle: Wow. It looks amazing. I wouldn't expect anything less.
Caroline: Well, wait till the main event. Here. Come on. I'll show you where you're sitting.
Danielle: Okay.
Pam: That Caroline Spencer's one smart cookie, inspiring all these ladies to open up their purses. It's just kind of a shame that Bill Spencer's not in play. Well, you know, what red-blooded woman wouldn't want to see that guy strip down to his boxers?
Marcus: This place is gonna be packed. You know, I still can't believe that she talked us in to this.
Dayzee: What is the big deal? You two are shirtless on the sky lounge, like, all the time.
Carter: Yeah, working out.
Marcus: Not on the runway.
Caroline: You boys ready for your walk?
Marcus: Yeah, anything to help out the foundation. [Chuckles]
Caroline: Hey, has anyone seen Rick?
Maya: Well, I'm not a huge Caroline fan, but this fundraiser, it's gonna rock.
Rick: Raising money for cancer research is something that's personal to her.
Maya: Did she lose someone?
Rick: Her aunt. It was the woman who she was named after.
Maya: I'm so sorry. Well, I'm happy you can help the cause.
Rick: Well, it could be worse. Caroline could ask me to wear heels.
Maya: Why would she do that?
Rick: It's a long story. But I'd love to tell you about it over dinner. That is, if you're free.
Maya: I'd like that. Yeah.
Caroline: There you are. I have been looking all over for you. I am so excited to get started. It's gonna be a great afternoon. And night.
Maya: I was just telling Rick your fundraiser's gonna be awesome.
Caroline: Well, Rick was my inspiration. I know how much I like seeing my man shirtless. And there's such a wealth of talent around here, it's kind of a no-brainer. You know, Carter's in the show, too.
Maya: Is he?
Caroline: Mm-hmm. A little eye candy, especially for you. See how I got your back?
Rick: So generous.
Caroline: I just want everyone to have a good time. Truly. Even you, Mona. Petty differences don't even stack up against this terrible disease. We can go back to being enemies again tomorrow. I got to go. Wish me luck.
Rick: You don't need luck. You're gonna be great.
Caroline: You are just the sweetest man. I see a very nice reward in your future.
Waiter: Can I get you something to drink?
Bill: My wife will have an iced tea, and I will have a... water.
Katie: No, go. Order something. Really. It's fine. I would like a white wine, actually.
Bill: Um, well, in that case, I'll have a scotch, neat.
Waiter: I'll send them right over.
Katie: Thank you.
Bill: I'm not gonna pay for this later?
Katie: Only when you get the check. I meant what I promised. I am done trying to change you or control you. I don't want to be the nagging wife that you can't get away from fast enough. I know who I married. And you are absolutely perfect just the way you are. [Laughs]
Bill: Perfect. Um, it's a stretch, Katie, but I appreciate the sentiment.
Katie: Well, I'm sorry I've been so rigid and judgmental. I mean, that's not who I am. That's not who you married.
Bill: Well, you were going through a lot.
Katie: You've been incredibly understanding. A lesser man would have walked away, but you didn't. You never lost faith in us. And I'm gonna have so much fun making it up to you.
Brooke: Dr. Caspary?
Dr. Caspary: Oh, Brooke.
Brooke: Hi. I didn't expect to see you here.
Dr. Caspary: Cancer research is something I'm passionate about.
Brooke: Yes, of course. You are a doctor. Well, it's nice to see you out of context.
Dr. Caspary: You too.
[Fanfare playing]
[Applause]
Caroline: Good afternoon, and welcome to the first Los Angeles fundraiser for the Caroline Spencer Cancer Research Foundation. I am so grateful for your support. I'll start out by thanking you all for coming out and showing your support for cancer research with your time and with your money, because believe me, my goal today is to separate you from as much of it as possible.
[Laughter]
Caroline: Every single one of us in this room know someone who has fought that battle, like the co-founder of Forrester Creations, Stephanie Forrester, who recently lost her battle to cancer, and like my aunt, Caroline Spencer. She was strong, and she was brave, and she was beautiful. She was a remarkable woman. Working was her life, and she had finally found where she belonged here with the Forresters and with Ridge, the man that she loved. They should have had time... years and years of happiness. They should have had children. They should have grown old together. But...cancer struck and cut that time short. I never got the privilege of meeting my aunt, but... I carry her name with pride, and it is in her name that I fight this battle against this killer.
[Soft music playing]
Caroline: The Caroline Spencer Cancer Foundation was formed with one goal in mind -- finding a cure. Caroline Spencer-Forrester was a brave woman. Cancer took her from her loved ones much too early, but the foundation passionately carries on in the battle she lost. Our commitment to this cause has already helped thousands of lives all over the world. It is our mission to continue fighting this horrible disease in honor of Caroline.
[Applause]
Caroline: We need to know more. That being said [Sniffles, clears throat] There are auction tables in the hall, um, offering everything from facials to a five-star trip to Europe, so I urge you to please find something that you love and bid on it because every penny counts. Now, please go and enjoy yourselves. Thank you so much.
[Applause]
Maya: Hey, Caroline. I was really moved by your speech. You're doing a good thing here.
Caroline: Thank you. And, um, thank you for coming. But don't feel like you have to stick around. I mean, Rick's unavailable. We have plans tonight.
Maya: If it's all the same to you, I think I'll hang out. Wouldn't want to miss that fashion show.
Katie: I'm telling you, your son is already a heartbreaker.
Bill: What makes you say so?
Katie: Mm-hmm. He flirts.
Bill: What do you mean, he flirts?
Katie: Oh, yeah. He does.
Bill: He's a baby.
Katie: I can tell. A woman comes in the room who's not his mother, and all of a sudden, he's smiling and all goo-goo-eyed. And sure enough, they melt.
Bill: That's my boy.
Katie: How did I know you would approve?
Bill: You know, he blows my mind.
Katie: He really is a miracle, isn't he?
Bill: Yeah. Something I never thought I would experience.
Katie: Ever miss the old days?
Bill: Not for a moment.
[Upbeat music playing]
[Applause]
Caroline: Thank you. It's time for the main event. This is my gift to the ladies. You can thank me by opening your wallets.
[Laughter]
Caroline: I am proud to present our newest bedroom wear that we are now featuring as part of the men's line. And here to give you the first sneak peek are the men of Forrester Creations!

[Cheers and applause]
Caroline: With a special shout-out to my boyfriend, Rick. You look amazing, Baby. And thank you all so much for coming out and supporting the Caroline Spencer Cancer Research Foundation. [Chuckles]
[Cheers and applause]
Caroline: I did it. It's my first L.A. fundraiser.
Rick: You certainly did.
Bill: Katie, um... you know, you have done a lot of apologizing. And now it's -- it's my turn. Don't hang a halo on me. I've been frustrated. I should have been more sensitive to what you were going through.
Katie: I-I never felt that.
Bill: I just want you to know how sorry --
Katie: No. Don't. Don't.
Bill: I'm gonna do better. I'm gonna be the best husband and father that I can be. Because you and Will and this family that we've created... nothing is more important. And I never want to lose it.
Katie: You never will.
[Indistinct conversations]
Dr. Caspary: Brooke.
Brooke: That was fun, wasn't it?
Dr. Caspary: Yes.
Brooke: [Laughs]
Dr. Caspary: Um... I need to speak to you.
Brooke: Is something wrong?
Dr. Caspary: I'm not sure how to tell you this.
Brooke: What? You're scaring me, Dr. Caspary.
Dr. Caspary: I got a call from the hospital lab about your results.
Brooke: Okay. About my blood tests.
Dr. Caspary: Yes.
Brooke: [Sighs] So, is it menopause?
Dr. Caspary: No, Brooke. You're pregnant.
Brooke: [Sighs] Oh, God. [Sobs]
