Liam: Nicely done.

Steffy: Shhh! Don't you dare wake him.

Liam: I won't. I think the kid's pretty wiped out.

Steffy: I just- I don't want him crying when his dad gets home. He's trusting us.

Liam: Have you always been so motherly?

Steffy: Phoebe always got the babysitting gigs.

Liam: Oh, she did, huh?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: Well, I guess you're learning.

Steffy: I guess.

Bill: How did Will do?

Will: (Coos)

Liam: Really good. Uh, he got tied, and Steffy put him down like a pro.

Bill: I'm impressed. All right, you guys did your duty, beat it.

Liam: You know, we don't mind. I mean, if you guys need a break--

Bill: No, no, no, no. Listen, you didn't get to go to Hawaii. I know you're disappointed you couldn't wear your goofy shirts.

Brooke: (Chuckles)

Bill: So I'm not gonna make you do some more babysitting on top of that. Go on, enjoy yourselves, just the two of you.

Liam: Thanks, Dad. Did you hear that?

Steffy: Mm.

Liam: Exactly what I had in mind.

Caroline: You're angry. You have every right to be.

Rick: Just tell me the truth. Before you went to see Thomas, I had this impression that you weren't gonna fall for any of his lines. But after seeing this picture, it seems like you did. What's going on, Caroline?

Caroline: It's not as bad as it looks.

Rick: So you're not hugging Thomas in that picture?

Caroline: Oh, I am. But it's for a really good reason.

Rick: He's leaving town?

Caroline: No. (Chuckles)

Rick: Damn. (Sighs)

Caroline: He committed 5% of the Caroline by Thomas Forrester sales to my cancer foundation. Rick, do you realize how much money that's going to be for cancer research?

Rick: It's great. It's a worthy cause, even if he's using it to his advantage.

Caroline: I don't think that he is. His grandmother is--is dying of cancer.

Rick: That doesn't mean you can’t help people and be self-serving at the same time. I should know. (Chuckles) I just want to know where we stand. Thomas and I both had the hots for you ever since you stepped out of that limo. He had his chance, but you and I, we--we connected from the very beginning, and I want to go with that. I want to see where this leads. But if there's any part of you that's still interested in him... Are you?

(Heartbeat thumping)

(Floorboard creaks)

(Creaking)

(Crash)

Bill: (Sighs) I can't understand why Katie's doing this.

Brooke: I don't know. Maybe she's afraid.

Bill: Of what, being a mother?

Brooke: Of dying.

Liam: Yeah, I don't think she ever has. I know. I know can't wait to see her face when I take her-

Steffy: (Clears throat)

Liam: Um, hey, I-I gotta go, but you--are you gonna have everything set up? Cool. Okay, thanks.

Steffy: Talking about my face.

Liam: That's right. (Chuckles) You ready?

Steffy: You don't think I ever what?

Liam: You'll see.

Steffy: No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What are you planning?

Liam: Nothing. I-I'm taking you somewhere-- a little hobby of mine, it's a surprise.

Steffy: You can't surprise me. I know everything about you.

Liam: Not everything.

Steffy: What are you doing?

Liam: I told you. It's something you've never done before that I know of.

Steffy: Liam!

Liam: Uh, be patient. We're almost there.

Caroline: I'm not sure how to explain it.

Rick: You're still interested in Thomas.

Caroline: The idea of Thomas, that connection to my aunt. I don't know. You probably don't understand.

Rick: No, I understand. You grew up with this idea of a--of the perfect couple, Caroline and Ridge. You move to L.A., you meet Thomas. Everybody keeps telling you just how much you remind them of--of your aunt and then let's face it. I mean, Thomas is tall. He's got dark hair. He's the spitting image of his father.

Caroline: Just--I've idolized my aunt so much. You know, and then I met Thomas, and I started spending time with him. And I felt closer to her than ever. I-I've spent my whole life hearing her story, and now I can live it, too.

Rick: Is that what you want?

Caroline: I'd like to make my own story. I'm grateful to Thomas for all the opportunities that he's given me. He's a really great guy. But you're the one for me. So you want to know where things stand with us, and you want to know the truth? I love you.

(Heartbeat thumping)

(Siren wailing)

(Flashback)

(Gunshot)

Katie: Brooke, where's Storm?

Brooke: (Sobs)

Katie: (Breathing heavily) Where's Storm?

(Heartbeat thumping)

Brooke: Storm hasn't gone anywhere. He's right here inside of you, and every breath you take keeps a part of him alive.

(Present time)

Katie: (Sighs)

(Heartbeat thumping)

Katie: (Sighs)

Bill: I've been thinking about what you said about Katie afraid of dying. We're all dying, Brooke. It never stopped Katie from living before.

Brooke: But now that she has a baby, and if she's afraid of leaving him--

Bill: She did leave. She walked out on both of us.

Brooke: Okay, okay. I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

Bill: (Sighs)

Brooke: (Sighs)

Bill: I'm sorry. I.. obviously, I'm not mad at you. Don't cry.

Brooke: (Sighs) I'm not. (Laughs) Okay, maybe just a little but I'm really not. (Sniffles) It's just--this is all so strange to me-- Katie behaving the way she is and... (Sighs) Ridge walking out the way he did, Stephanie dying. I can't help but get a little bit emotional.

Bill: It's understandable.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Steffy: Wait. Are we--

Liam: Paragliding?

Steffy: (Laughs) No way. This is awesome. Liam, I've always wanted to do it.

Liam: So you have not done this before?

Steffy: No. You have?

Liam: More times than I can count.

Alex: Liam.

Liam: Hey, Alex, good to see you again, man.

Alex: How's it going? Good to see you. This must be Steffy.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Yeah, hi.

Liam: Great. Everything's ready, so if you want, I could do the safety briefing or you can.

Steffy: Oh, I think we could get the instructions from the professional, thanks, yeah.

Alex: Which one?

Steffy: Huh?

Alex: You mean, you haven't told her?

Liam: Uh, no, she doesn't know.

Steffy: Told me what?

Liam: Um.. (Laughs) I, uh, spent a few summers doing this as an instructor. Not here, obviously-- where I--where I grew up, but, uh, what's that you were saying about knowing everything about me?

Steffy: Okay. Okay. Wait, so you expect me to just hold onto you and jump off this mountain?

Liam: Aw, come on, biker mama, you're not the only thrill seeker in this relationship. Come on, what do you say? You ready to take a leap of faith, put your life in my hands.

Steffy: (Chuckles) I already have.

Rick: Did you just say that you love me?

Caroline: (Laughs) Yes.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Rick: (Sighs)

(Heartbeat thumping)

(Dripping water)

Katie: Stop it. Stop it. (Gasps) (Breathing heavily)

(Muffled arguing)

Katie: Shut up. Shut up

(Arguing continues)

(Baby cries)

Katie: (Sighs) (Sobs) No. No. No.

(Baby's crying continues)

Katie: (Sobs)

Brooke: What's happened to us? We've both been left.

Bill: But it doesn't mean we have to feel sorry for ourselves or accept it. I'm gonna get through to Katie. And Ridge--come on, Brooke. You guys have never been apart for very long.

Brooke: I just hope it all goes well when I see him.

Bill: It will. Stephanie's dying but she's having a party to celebrate her life, what better time for Ridge to forgive and reunite?

Brooke: (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings)

Brooke: Donna?

Donna: Oh, God. I'm so glad I was able to get ahold of you. Katie came back for her stuff.

Brooke: What?

Donna: Yea. I'm--I'm at her house, and I mean, you said she only left with her purse, right?

Brooke: Yeah.

Donna: Well, her clothes are gone. Her personal things are gone. There's--there's no trace of her even being here.

Brooke: Oh, no. (Sighs)

Bill: What?

Brooke: Yeah, Bill's right here with me.

Donna: I'm sure it won't be a surprise, but could you tell him what's going on?

Brooke: Yes, of course. I'll-I'll call you later. Bye.

Bill: She saw Katie?

Brooke: No. (Sighs) She's at your house, and Katie moved out all of her things.

Bill: Of course, she did. She sends us on a-- on a wild goose chase to Aspen so she could move her things out.

Brooke: Remember what you said. You don't have to accept this. You will get her back.

Bill: (Sighs) I don't know that I want to.

Liam: You got that camera mounted on your leg?

Steffy: Yep.

Liam: Good. Good. 'Cause you're gonna want to remember this forever. You ready?

Steffy: Let's do it.

Liam: All right. Go. Run, run, run.

Steffy: Oh, my God! Oh, I can't believe this. Oh, my God, this is amazing! Oh, my God. So cool.

Liam: Are you scared?

Steffy: Oh, I'm beyond scared. Oh, my God. Look at over there. (Gasps)

Liam: Look at the colors.

Steffy: It's so beautiful! Oh, my God.

Rick: What?

Caroline: Nothing.

Caroline: My mom always said that I'd know.

Rick: Your mom always said what?

Caroline: That I'd know. I know.

Rick: (Sighs)

(Muffled arguing)

(Baby crying)

Katie: Shut up. Why can't everyone just shut up?! Oh!

(Heartbeat thumping)

Katie: (Breathing heavily) Oh! Please let it be over soon. (Sobs) It has to be over soon.

(Baby cries)

Katie: (Sobbing)

(Heartbeat thumping)

Katie: Will's better off. Better off. Better off without me.

(Siren wails)

Katie: They all are.

(Baby cries)

Katie: Please let it stop. Please let it stop.

(Heartbeat thumping)

Katie: (Sobbing)

Brooke: Of course, you want Katie back.

Bill: Who she used to be, yes, but I don't know who she is right now.

Brooke: And that's what scares me. That's why I think she needs you now more than ever.

Bill: She made it clear she doesn't need any of us, Brooke. You know, you make choices in life. Well, Katie chose to leave. I have a newborn who needs a mother, and she walks away? I don't care what you're afraid of. You don't do that.

Brooke: (Sighs)
