Katie: If you think Donna's gonna keep quiet about this, you're wrong.
Bill: You think I'm worried about Donna? I'm not. I'm worried about us, our family--you, me, and Will.
Katie: And Liam? He and Hope were happy. They'd be together right now if it weren't for you. When Donna finds Liam, she's gonna tell him everything. I mean, you saw them at the hospital. They still love each other. What Donna knows could give Hope and Liam another chance.
Donna: (Sighs) (Sighs) (Sighs)
Bill: You know what, Katie? I'll apologize any times as you need me to, but I'm not the reason that Hope and Liam aren't together.
Katie: Deacon didn't just show up in Italy. You got him out of jail, and you paid him to interfere with his daughter's wedding.
Bill: And if the authorities find out, I could go to prison.
Katie: Donna's not going to the police.
Bill: No, she's just gonna go to Liam. She doesn't want to ruin your life, just mine.
Katie: So you didn't it. I mean, I-I wasn't sure, because I-I thought that maybe you didn't understand what seeing you behind bars would do to me. It didn't seem to deter you at all.
Bill: Nothing happened, not to me, not to our family, not even to Hope and Liam. They got married. And if Hope was truly devoted to my son, they would still be married.
Katie: You can blame Hope for this all you want, but I guarantee you, when Liam finds out what you did, the only one he's gonna blame is you.
Donna: (Breathing heavily) (Sighs) Oh, God. (Sighs)
Hope: Aunt Donna?
Donna: (Gasps)
Hope: Hey. What is it?
Donna: (Sighs)
Hope: What's--um, is it Katie? Is it the baby? Are they okay?
Donna: No. Uh, yeah, they're-- they're fine. They're fine.
Hope: You're not, though. What's wrong? Rick!
(Heart thumping)
Katie: (Sighs) Is the baby still asleep?
Bill: Yeah. You should be sleeping too, Katie.
Katie: I haven't heard from Donna.
Bill: Nothing from Liam. Maybe she changed her mind.
Katie: No, I don't think so. (Sighs)
Bill: Well, that means that Liam could come barreling through that door any minute yelling for my head.
Katie: I-I don't want you arguing around the baby.
Bill: I can handle Liam. I can handle all of this. It won't be an issue for us, Katie.
Katie: There will be consequences.
Bill: None that you'll have to worry about.
Katie: I know you don't want to lose Liam.
Bill: I'm not going to lose anybody.
Katie: You want to concentrate on our family, on Will, on this... amazing miracle we've been given.
Bill: Yes, Katie. He is a miracle, and he deserves 100% of our attention.
Katie: But things have happened. They can't be undone or ignored. It could change everything.
Steffy: I missed you. I missed us. Its different now, isn't it?
Liam: Yes.
Steffy: (Sighs) You know how much-- you know how much I love you.
Liam: I do. I do.
Steffy: And... I waited for this for so long. I never stopped wishing. You're free, Liam. You're finally free.
Hope: Yeah, thanks, Madison. I'll get on that first thing in the morning. (Sighs)
Donna: They need you back at work?
Hope: Oh, it's nothing urgent. I thought about, uh, maybe stopping by to see Aunt Katie and the baby.
Donna: No. Uh, You know, I was just there, and they, uh, they need some time to themselves.
Hope: Oh, yeah, I'm sure they've had a lot of visitors.
Donna: Yeah, just family.
Hope: Uh, what about Liam?
Donna: No. No. He wasn't--he wasn't there.
Hope: No. No. He's probably with Steffy.
Donna: Why would you say that?
Hope: Liam asked me to go back to him.
Donna: When?
Hope: Today.
Donna: T-today?
Hope: Yeah, at the hospital. And I said "No."
Donna: Honey, I'm sorry
Hope: Aunt Donna, what if I'm making a mistake? I mean, he practically begged me to go back to him, and--and I said “No." And I thought that I was doing the right thing, but what if I'm not?
Donna: (Sighs)
Hope: He said this was our last chance, and I kind of thought that he was just making a point, but what if it really is? I feel like I'm running out of time, but I'm just--I'm not ready. I still don't know if I can trust him, but, you know, I kind of think that if I don't do something about it now, it'll be too late.
Bill: Katie, this is a distraction we don't need right now. You almost died. You're recovering from surgery. We need to think about our son.
Katie: I am. I am thinking about him.
Bill: Let Donna tell Liam whatever she wants. That's between him and me. He's not going to lose his father.
Katie: (Sighs) You committed a crime. You put our entire family at risk. How do you think Liam is gonna react to that?
Bill: He's not going to go to the police. He may hate me, but he wouldn't do that to you, and he wouldn't do that to his little brother.
Katie: That's what makes me so angry. I just--I may not be here to watch our son grow into a man.
Bill: Will you stop saying that?
Katie: But it's--it's true, Bill. What happened in the hospital, you--you don't understand it.
Bill: Katie.
Katie: (Sighs) I need to--I just need to rest. I need to lie down for a while. I'm gonna--I'm just gonna lie down for a while.
Bill: Okay, that's good idea. Get some sleep. I'll watch the baby.
Katie: No. He's--he's gonna need to eat soon. We'll be fine.
Bill: I love you, Katie.
Liam: You never gave up.
Steffy: Nope. (Chuckles)
Liam: (Chuckles)
Steffy: Once or twice, I-I thought about it, but... no dice. I love you no matter what. That's the thing about the women in my family.
Liam: Ah, so it's not that I'm just irresistible. Clearly...
Steffy: No. (Laughs) You are.
Liam: (Chuckles)
Steffy: To me, you are. Wait, what was that thing that, um, that you called me when we were in Venice Beach?
Liam: Relentless.
Steffy: Yes. Relentless. To some guys, that's turn-off.
Liam: Yeah, well, strong women is kind of a thing for men in my family-- actually, for women, too.
Steffy: Mm.
Liam: Uh.
Steffy: Well, you know what that makes us?
Liam: Doomed to become our parents?
Steffy: (Chuckles) The perfect pair.
Donna: So you haven't talked to Liam since you were at the hospital?
Hope: No.
Donna: So this bad feeling you have, what...
Hope: It's... (Sighs) Just this feeling or dream that I can't shake. And you know, maybe it has something to do with seeing Katie at the hospital and--and seeing how scared Bill was. I mean, one minute, everything's fine, you know. They're planning for the baby, and the next...
Donna: Yeah.
Hope: You know, we almost lost her.
Donna: I mean, I'm glad she came back to us.
Hope: Yeah. Yeah, thank God. You know, you--you think that you're gonna have-- have time to plan things and work things out, but sometimes you don't, and--and what if-- what if I don't?
Donna: Well, you're not really trying to work things out.
Hope: Do you think that we should?
Donna: You know, I'm not really the--the right person to be giving you advice about this.
Hope: Oh, come on, Aunt Donna, please. I need to talk to somebody. My mom is on her honeymoon. Aunt Katie's busy with the baby. I really gotta talk about this, and my head is all over the place right now. I just... I need to talk to somebody objective, somebody who will tell me the truth.
Donna: Honey, I can only tell you what I know.
Hope: Okay.
Donna: I don't know if you want to hear this.
Hope: No, I don’t.
Donna: (Sighs) It might come as a shock coming from me. There's more to life than men. And there's more to your life than this one guy.
Hope: (Sighs) But what if he's the guy?
Donna: Hope, I believe in you. I believe that you-- you're so smart. And you--you could do wonderful things, okay? You can't waste all of your energy trying to figure out Liam Spencer. And, he has to figure himself out first.
Hope: (Sighs) Yeah. You know, he--he--he's told me that he wants me so many times. (Sighs)
Donna: But your gut told you not to trust him.
Hope: Yeah, I-I mean, at first, in that moment. But, I--you know-
Donna: Honey, Honey, you ended it for a reason, and--and you might be questioning those reasons, but those reasons are still there, aren't they?
Hope: You mean Steffy?
Donna: She's been the problem since the beginning, and, well, that hasn't changed.
Hope: Maybe it could, you know, if--if I didn't need things to be so black and white. I mean...
Donna: Are you saying, change who you are?
Hope: No.
Donna: You're damn right "No," Hope.
Hope: (Sighs)
Donna: My goodness, if your mother heard you talking like this, she would have a fit.
Hope: (Sighs)
Donna: Your principles are so important to you. And every time you've not lived up to them, there have been big problems.
Hope: Yeah.
Donna: And you're gonna compromise your principles for a guy who doesn't even share you values? You're gonna be filled with regret. You're so young. You're smart. And look at you-- you're so beautiful.
Hope: (Chuckles)
Donna: Why... (Sighs) You could do so many great things, Hope, and--and God, to have accomplished as much as you have at your age-- I don't think you should be tied down to anyone. You should go out there and--and live life and--and have adventures...
Hope: Mm-hmm.
Donna: And meet people.
Hope: (Sighs)
Donna: And someday, you're going to meet that guy. Maybe you already have.
Hope: (Sighs) If you mean Thomas... (Chuckles) I'm not in love with him, okay? I mean, we--we--we work well together. We're a great team professionally. But he's not the one. Liam's the one. (Sighs)
Donna: Honey.
Hope: (Groans) I know. I know this doesn't make any sense at all. I'm the one who broke it off. I've just been really hurt and really... confused.
Donna: I think you still are. Trust me, I have had my share of breakups, and I know it takes a very long time to feel like yourself again. I mean, your emotions are all over the place... (Sighs) And it just--it's-- it's horrible. But it goes away, if you let it. I'm so sorry, Honey, but I think that you're holding onto something that doesn't exist anymore. You've made your decision. Just stick with it.
Hope: But there still could be a chance.
Donna: How many times have you said that? How many times are you gonna put yourself through this, Hope?
Hope: (Sniffles)
Donna: I mean, isn't it better just to be done on your own terms? Just... (Sighs) Just let Liam go.
Hope: (Sniffles)
Donna: Set yourself free.
Hope: Mm-hmm. So it's over-- that's what you're saying.
Donna: Yeah, Honey. I'm sorry, but it is.
Hope: (Sniffles) (Sighs)
