Steffy: I-I can't believe you're here. So wait, what--what happened with Hope?

Liam: I don’t know.

Steffy: But you guys were supposed to have dinner, right?

Liam: Yeah, I know. I know. She canceled. Something came up.

Steffy: What did she say?

Liam: Listen, it’s cool, you know? I’m gonna see her tomorrow at the altar, but for tonight... I’m dancing.

(Song) Let’s go.

Liam: Come on. Come on.

Stephanie: You should not have canceled your dinner plans.

Hope: Here.

Stephanie: I'm fine.

Hope: You can keep saying that, but I am not leaving.

Stephanie: I just coughed because I was laughing. Don't you want to be with Liam?

Hope: No, I-I told you, I'm staying here until I know you're okay.

Stephanie: Wasn't he disappointed?

Hope: (Scoffs) It's the night before our wedding. I'm sure he has a million things to do.

Brooke: So Hope wasn't downstairs?

Ridge: She had plans with Liam.

Brooke: She shouldn't stay out too late. She's getting married tomorrow.

Ridge: Well, until she gets back, you and I have the whole house to ourselves.

Brooke: Mm.

Stephanie: You're as bad as your mother.

Hope: If you mean because she takes such good care of you...

Stephanie: (Sighs)

Hope: I'll take it as a compliment.

Stephanie: I mean as she drives me crazy.

Hope: Is it the wedding? I mean, are you stressed out because we're having the wedding here?

Stephanie: I'm not stressed out about the wedding. Are you stressed out about the wedding?

Hope: No. No. I mean, I just--I just want it to be perfect.

Stephanie: Well, just relax then, because it will be perfect. It'll be absolutely wonderful, and you don't have to worry about me or anything else.

Hope: (Sighs)

Steffy: Come here. Come here.

Liam: What's up? Where?

Steffy: Do you remember Rex and Jessica...

Liam: Hi! Yeah!

Steffy: Award-winning makeup and hair stylists?

Liam: How are you guys? Hey, it's good to see you! Hey, can I--how do you get your hair like that? 'Cause I have...

Jessica: What is Liam doing here? Isn't he getting married tomorrow?

Steffy: Not if somebody changes his mind tonight.

Jessica: (Gasps) (Laughs)

Jessica: (Laughs)

Steffy: I know. I know.

Brooke: Hold on, your dad wants to say good night.

Ridge: Hey, pal. Yeah. All right, I'll tell her you said so. All right, good night, R.J. Good night.

Brooke: Wishing his sister good luck tomorrow-- so cute.

Ridge: It sounds like he's having fun at camp.

Brooke: Yeah. There's no reason for him to come all the way back for the wedding.

Ridge: Not for one like Hope's having, no.

Brooke: No. It's gonna be too formal and...

Ridge: Too proper.

Brooke: And very elegant. There's nothing wrong with that.

Ridge: Proper.

Brooke: (Giggles)

Ridge: No, I didn't say there was. We all know that Hope likes, uh, tradition and decorum. And she wants things to be a certain way. She likes it when it's that way, you know, even if it means it might be easier if you compromised.

Brooke: Hmm. Stephanie and Hope have that in common. I think that's why Stephanie agreed to host the wedding. It surprised me, actually. I was amazed. (Sighs) She really does love Hope.

Ridge: Maybe, just maybe, this might help pull the family together.

Brooke: Yeah, that's what Hope wants. Wouldn't that be something?

Stephanie: You're letting him know you're on your way, I hope.

Hope: Actually, once Eric gets back, I'm gonna go over to my mom's.

Stephanie: Liam wanted to see you.

Hope: I know. I-I wanted to see him, too, but, um, you know, maybe it's-- it's better this way. You know, it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Oh, no, no, no. No more of that.

Hope: I know. I know. Liam and I have definitely filled our bad luck quota.

Stephanie: And then some.

Hope: Yeah. Steffy... thinks I brought all of this on myself. She doesn't... she doesn't understand why I need another wedding or why I can't stay with Liam right now. But it's been really hard for me. I have got to get beyond what happened between Steffy and Liam. But those images are really... really scarred into my brain. And I really think that having another wedding will help, because at least then those bad things will not have happened on my wedding day. Is that crazy?

Stephanie: Yeah. But if it gives you peace of mind, so be it.

Hope: Thank you.

Stephanie: You're welcome. I just don't know if you and he are really ready for this.

Jessica: Steff, what is Liam doing?

Steffy: Uh... having fun.

Ramona: With his ex-wife the night before his wedding?

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Jessica: Weird!

Ramona: Not for these two. Steffy, what is going on?

Steffy: Well, he was supposed to have dinner with Hope, but she canceled on him. She's probably too busy folding napkins or working on her seating chart. He just didn't want to spend his last night of freedom alone.

Jessica: Well, I can understand that.

Steffy: Thank you. (Laughs)

Liam: Guys, check it out. I, uh, I told, uh, the bartender that I'm getting married tomorrow, and he said he would keep the drinks coming on me!

Rex: This guy's awesome.

Steffy: Yeah. Yes, he is.

Liam: Thank you. No, wait, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! I want to--I want to-- I want to do a toast. I want to do a toast. Um, to, um... tonight! Yeah!

Steffy: To tonight! Whoo! (Laughs)

Liam: (Laughs)

Brooke: I am so proud of Hope.

Ridge: You should be. She's shown a lot of strength through all this. So has Steffy, don't you agree?

Brooke: (Sighs) I-I don't think we should focus on Steffy. Hope doesn't want to do that, so we shouldn't, either.

Ridge: Logan, what happened in Puglia was just a misunderstanding.

Brooke: Shh!

Ridge: I'm just saying, when they all got back to L.A., she didn't pounce on Liam. She even encouraged Hope to go home and work it out with him.

Brooke: (Chuckles) What? Hope decided all of that on her own.

Ridge: Well, it seems that Liam has made his choice with Hope, though.

Brooke: "Seems"? They're getting married tomorrow. And then you and I... can get to focus on our wedding.

Ridge: It seems kind of strange that you and I are gonna have the least dramatic of all the weddings around here.

Brooke: (Chuckles) There's not gonna be any drama tomorrow. Hope and Liam are past that.

Hope: You don't think Liam and I should get married?

Stephanie: Well, you're both so young.

Hope: Yeah. Yeah, we are.

Stephanie: I mean, a little more life experience wouldn't hurt.

Hope: (Chuckles) I don't know. I-I think we have experienced a lot. I mean, most couples our age are just hoping for the best when they say "for better or worse." They can't even imagine the worst. But Liam and I... (scoffs) we have lived it... a few times. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: What you two have experienced are tiny little bumps in the road, okay? If you plan on--on spending the rest of your life with this man, you'd better prepare yourself for a lot worse.

Hope: Thank you. That's very uplifting.

Stephanie: No. (Chuckles) Nobody ever wants to hear the reality of life. I certainly didn't. When I got married, I thought, you know, everything was going to work out exactly as I hoped for.

Hope: Has it?

Stephanie: Well... (sighs) I mean, we're in a pretty good place now...

Hope: (Chuckles)

Stephanie: But, my Lord, it took a long, long time to get here, to even just gain a little bit of wisdom. You guys are just beginning your lives, okay? You--you don't have any idea where it's going to take you. Nobody ever does. But if you get married, and you spend your life with this man, you're going to change in ways that you can't even begin to imagine.

Hope: And Liam and I will experience that together.

Stephanie: You know, it wasn't that long ago that Steffy said those exact words to me.

Hope: You want Liam to go back to her?

Stephanie: I want Steffy to be happy, but I want you to be happy, too. That's the big dilemma here, isn't it?

Ramona: It's good to see you having fun, Steffy, especially with Liam. Maybe someone should tell him to slow down.

Steffy: I am calling time.

Ramona: What about your motorcycle?

Steffy: No, I-I'll be back. I'll be back. Just wait here.

Liam: I'm cool.

Steffy: Wait here.

Liam: That's cool.

Steffy: I'll be right back.

Liam: I'm just gonna-- I'm gonna be right here.

Steffy: Okay.

Liam: Shakin' my bootay! Uhh! You get your boring car. I don't even care about your car, all right? This is my car right here. I'm in it. I'm in my--I'm in my groove car. 'Cause, uh, yeah.

Ramona: (Laughs)

Liam: Uhh! Whoa! (Snapping fingers)

Brooke: So that doesn't bore you, the idea of a plain, old, uneventful wedding, no crises, no excitement?

Ridge: I think we should save the excitement for the honeymoon.

Brooke: Why do we have to wait? I know you like surprises.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Brooke: The proposal-- the search for the giant olive.

Ridge: Mm.

(Flashback)

Brooke: Wow. (Gasps) A giant olive.  (Gasps)

Ridge: So what do you say, Logan? Want to marry me one more time?

Brooke: (Gasps)

Ridge: Was that a "yes"?

Brooke: (Giggles) Yes. Yes. (Sighs)

Ridge: Yes.

Brooke: Oh. It's so beautiful.

Ridge: Yes, you are.

(Present time)

Ridge: I think you find ways to surprise me every day.

Brooke: What if I told you I had a giant surprise for you right about now?

Ridge: Yum.

Brooke: Yummy.

Hope: I appreciate your advice, Stephanie.

Stephanie: But you're not gonna listen to me?

Hope: I am marrying Liam tomorrow.

Stephanie: Okay. Then I will do everything I possibly can to make it a wonderful day for you.

Hope: Even though you don't think it's a good idea?

Stephanie: Well, I've offered you my home and my pearls of wisdom.

Hope: Which I really, really appreciate. I just wish I had your blessing.

Stephanie: Well... (sighs) honey, it's just so apparent to me that Liam has such unresolved feelings for Steffy...

Hope: (Clears throat)

Stephanie: And for you to enter into a relationship like this-- I just don't think it's healthy.

Hope: (Sighs)

Stephanie: You're so young. You have so much more going on in your life. I know. You think I'm--I'm taking sides, but, honestly, I'm not.

Hope: No, I--no. I do... I do see your concern for me.

Stephanie: I am concerned.

Hope: You don't have to be.

Stephanie: Well, what's the rush to get married?

Hope: I don't know. (Sighs, laughs) I don't know. Maybe it's, uh, maybe it's my way of rebelling. I mean, every generation tries to rebel against their parents, and my childhood was anything but traditional.

Stephanie: (Chuckles) Yeah. Decorum was in short supply at that house.

Hope: You know, I think that planning a traditional proper wedding is probably the most outrageous thing a Logan woman could do.

Stephanie: Okay, cutie. All right.

Hope: (Giggles) (Sighs) Mm.

Steffy: Hey, okay, so the car is coming. Where is Liam?

Ramona: Uh, he went with Jessie and Rex. I think he's looking for his lampshade.

Steffy: Wait, which-- which way did he go?

Ramona: Uh, over there. They've been gone awhile. I don't know.

Steffy: Let me just, uh, get through here. Excuse... really? Really? Excuse me. Sorry. Oh, my God! Liam! Liam! There you are. I told you not to go anywhere. Uh-oh.
