Steffy: (Laughs)

Liam: Oh, God.

Steffy: (Sighs)

Liam: (Groans)

Steffy: Remind you of anything?

Liam: (Sighs) Hey. (Sighs)

Steffy: Hey, yourself.

Liam: Steffy.

Steffy: Hmm?

Liam: Where are we?

Steffy: We're at the hotel.

Liam: Oh. Right. We must be pretty fancy to have a pool in our room. (Sighs)

Steffy: We're at the pool. We crashed her last night. You don't remember?

Liam: Oh, yeah. No. Yeah. It's all coming back. You kidnapped me and took me to a club.

Steffy: (Chuckles) And you claimed and owned the dance floor.

Liam: And you have mad deejay skills. When did that happen?

Steffy: A woman of many talents.

Liam: (Scoffs)

Steffy: So how are you feeling?

Liam: I feel like... (Inhales sharply) Like I must have had fun. (Chuckles)

Steffy: Yeah. It's freeing, isn't it, letting the music take you?

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Yeah. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it, because once Hope slips that ball and chain around your neck, freedom won't be in your vocabulary.

Liam: (Groans)

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Hope: (Sighs) Thank you. Thank you so much for helping me with this.

Brooke: Of course, honey. But just a word of caution. Eric might be fine with this but--

Hope: I know. Stephanie might be a challenge.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: You do understand why.

Hope: Yeah, of course. I mean, same as you-- Steffy's her blood.

Ridge: That doesn't make you any less my daughter.

Hope: Oh, I know. I-I know. I really--I wasn't trying to imply anything. Oh. (Sighs) I know it's hard for everyone, taking sides between me, Steffy, Liam.

Stephanie: Well, good morning. Hi, Hope.

Brooke: Oh, hello.

Ridge: Hi.

Hope: Hi.

Stephanie: You look lovely.

Eric: Yeah. Why is that? Have anything to do with this, uh, family powwow you called today?

Hope: Yes, it does, actually. I, um, I want to ask you something.

Stephanie: All right.

Hope: Okay. Liam and I would very much like to get married here in your home. Is that possible?

Bill: So Hope still hasn't moved back in?

Katie: Well, she never really moved out. Her things are still at Liam's.

Bill: But Hope isn't.

Katie: No, she is staying at Brooke's for the time being.

Bill: Do you realize how ridiculous that is?

Katie: I don't think it's ridiculous at all. I'm not so sure I would be as forgiving, I mean, after what she saw.

Bill: (Sighs)

Katie: She needs some time to see where things stand with Liam and to see if she can rebuild her trust.

Bill: I was there. I know how committed Liam is to Hope. I also heard the promises they made to each other. Okay, so he--he screwed up because of a colossal misunderstanding. You know, I-I am--I am trying to embrace Hope as I promised I would, but something like this happens, and it makes me say, what is wrong with this girl? Is she trying to push Liam away? She's off to a good start.

Katie: And I'm sure Steffy will be there to make it all better.

Bill: No man is gonna tolerate his wife moving in and out of their home every time they have a disagreement.

Katie: (Chuckles) This qualifies as more than just a disagreement. She saw Liam all over Steffy on her wedding day, and she knows that they were gonna run off together. I mean, come on, Bill. She must have felt horribly betrayed.

Bill: Well, Hope needs to get over it.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Bill: Liam married her, not Steffy. You're not defending this erratic behavior, are you?

Katie: Yeah. I understand where she's coming from, sure.

Bill: Well, that must be a lonely club you're in.

Katie: You can't see Hope's point of view at all?

Bill: Nope. You can't keep bailing on someone and expect the center to hold. Hope may have gone too far this time, Katie, and Liam may tell her to stay gone.

Katie: I don't think that's gonna happen.

Bill: I wouldn't be too sure.

Stephanie: You and Liam want to be married here in my home?

Hope: You both look very surprised.

Eric: Well, it's not exactly what we expected.

Brooke: It would really mean a lot to Hope.

Ridge: And to me.

Hope: (Sighs) Okay, well, don't say "Yes" all at once. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Well, I can't speak for Eric, but I have a problem with this.

Hope: I know Steffy is your granddaughter.

Eric: And she's still very much in love with Liam, which, of course, you know better than anybody.

Hope: (Clears throat)

Stephanie: I should think you'd have some reservations about this.

Ridge: I'm just trying to be supportive of both of my daughters.

Stephanie: Well, isn't that admirable? Uh... (sighs) look, I... I'm not sure that I could do something like this for you, Hope. I have a real problem with the fact that I-I don't necessarily feel that you and Liam should actually get married, because I think he has a lot of unresolved feelings about Steffy.

Steffy: You should come over to Forrester for a fitting.

Liam: Fitting for what? (Groans)

Steffy: Jumpsuits.

Liam: Jumpsuits?

Steffy: Mm-hmm.

Liam: Uh, I don't-- I don't wear those.

Steffy: You haven't so far. But once a prisoner is married, you're gonna want to look fashionable.

Liam: Ha ha, that's--

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: That's cute. I walked right into that, didn't I?

Steffy: Too easy. But true. Hope's gonna want to settle down and hang cutesy little sayings on the wall, like "Home is where the heart is"...

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Or "There's no place like home." The next thing you know, she's gonna be pregnant, and your life is going to be over.

Liam: Dude, you are getting way ahead of yourself.

Steffy: You'll see. You'll see, unless you snap out of it in time.

Liam: I--

Steffy: I'm serious.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: I mean, like, what is the rush, really? Why do you have to marry Hope? Why do you have to marry me or anyone? You should have seen yourself last night. You were dancing hard-core, and you loved it.

Liam: I--yeah, okay. It was fun. But it--it was one night. It wasn't a lifestyle. What am I doing here, anyway? I gotta get to work.

Steffy: Oh, no, you don't.

Liam: Oh, jeez.

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: I'm not done with you. We still got another item to check off your bucket list.

Liam: My bucket list?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: Isn't that for when you know you're gonna die?

Steffy: Exactly.

Liam: (Chuckles) That's funny. That--that's funny.

Steffy: True.

Katie: You haven't been keeping secrets again, have you?

Bill: What secrets?

Katie: Oh, I don't know-- something's going on between Liam and Steffy that's gonna break Hope's heart?

Bill: Nothing I know of, scout's honor.

Katie: Hmm.

Bill: But if Hope keeps leaving...

Katie: You act like she jumped on a plane and has disappeared forever. She's at Brooke's. She's just trying to sort things out.

Bill: You see, this-- this is typical Hope, having to have all her little ducks lined in a row. But she is forgetting the fact that Liam needs his wife. (Chuckles) Now I am really trying to be supportive.

Katie: I know you are.

Bill: But she doesn't make it easy.

Katie: Well, it's all gonna be resolved soon enough. Brooke tells me that Hope wants a fresh new start with Liam, one that's not tainted by betrayal.

Bill: What does that mean?

Katie: She wants another wedding as soon as possible at Stephanie and Eric's.

Bill: Wait, wait. Are you kidding me?

Katie: (Chuckles)

Bill: Just--just shoot me, all right? Just--just--just do it.

Katie: (Laughs)

Bill: One right in the forehead. Does this girl ever get tired of planning weddings?

Katie: Aw. I'll kiss you instead.

Bill: (Sighs)

Katie: (Chuckles)

Hope: You should know that I'm not inviting Steffy, so if that's a deal breaker...

Stephanie: Well, thank God. She should never be at any of your weddings, and she should have never gone to Italy.

Hope: No, she shouldn't have, and that was my doing.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: It was a mistake, I know, one that I will not be making again. (Sighs) Eric, Stephanie, I really would be so honored if you'd let me get married here.

Stephanie: All right.

Hope: Really?

Stephanie: Well, I can see how much it means to you to get married here.

Hope: Oh!

Brooke: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Do you have any objections? Speak up now.

Eric: (Chuckles) Absolutely not. I'd be delighted.

Hope: Oh, my gosh.

Eric: Good.

Hope: Thank you so much. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Oh, my gosh. (Sighs) Ha!

Ridge: See, that wasn't so hard, was it?

Hope: No.

Eric: There's nothing to worry about. Stephanie's a big softie. You know that.

Stephanie: Oh, yeah. Believe that at your own peril.

Hope: Thank you. Thank you so--this is just-- this is the best. It is. I'm--I'm gonna call Liam right now. Thank you.

Stephanie: (Sighs)

Brooke: That was very nice.

Eric: When are we doing this?

Stephanie: What? Oh.

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: Wearing a muumuu, and I think that's not appropriate club attire.

(Cell phone rings)

Steffy: I can't--I can't take you anywhere if this is what it's gonna be like.

Liam: I'm just saying, I-I don't know much about this whole world, but this is not-- oh, God. (Ring)

Liam: Hey.

Hope: They said yes.

Liam: Uh... oh! Stephanie agreed?

Hope: Yes. It--it took some convincing, but we are getting married at the Forrester home.

Liam: That's fantastic. I-I know how much that means to you.

Hope: (Sighs) Maybe this is what we've be missing all along-- grounding our marriage in family and tradition.

Liam: Yeah. Totally. I--and if you're happy, I'm happy. But, uh... (inhales sharply) I mean, while you're waiting it out, you could be at home with me.

Hope: It won't be long. I promise.

Liam: Okay. No, I get it. I... yeah, I get it.

Hope: Well, I should go, because we've got a lot of planning to do. I love you.

Liam: Love you. (Sighs)

Steffy: My grandmother agreed to what?

Liam: Having the wedding at the Forrester house.

Steffy: Great. How lovely.

Liam: Does that bother you?

Steffy: Well, it's Hope's family home, too, and she has every right to get married there. So it begins. (Sighs) Hope's planning another glorious wedding to launch your perfect life. That will be the last we see of Liam.

Liam: (Scoffs) God. Wow. Exaggerate much?

Steffy: No. I... (sighs) I kidnapped you so you could... have fun and have a few last crazy experiences, because once you get married, that is never gonna happen again.

Katie: I don't blame Hope for wanting a do-over on her wedding. I mean, powerful forces were at work. First, Deacon shows up out of nowhere. I guess when the devil shows up at your door, the day can only go downhill from there. I mean, what do you suppose inspired him, anyway? All these years, not a word, no attempt to get to know his daughter. And then suddenly, there he is. It couldn't have been a coincidence.

Bill: I could hunt him down and interrogate him for you.

Katie: That might not be such a bad idea.

Bill: You know what? I don't give a damn about Deacon Sharpe or where he shows up, because I have better things to think about...

Katie: Mm.

Bill: Like my beautiful wife blossoming before my eyes.

Katie: You've got that look.

Bill: See how you affect me, hmm?

Katie: (Chuckles) I've always heard that men get all hands-off when their wife gets pregnant, but not you-- contrary in every way.

Bill: I haven't heard you complaining.

Katie: Mama likes it.

Bill: Yeah? Well, come to papa.

Katie: (Chuckles)

Eric: You understand, of course, that Stephanie's initial reluctance to have the ceremony here is no--no slam against you.

Hope: No, I know. I know. I mean, naturally, she'd want to side with her granddaughter.

Brooke: Hmm.

Eric: So, uh, what kind of ceremony are we talking about here?

Hope: Uh, very, very small, elegant, traditional.

Eric: Well, it's your day. It's your night.

Brooke: Yeah.

Eric: Whatever you want.

Hope: (Giggles) Oh, gosh. What--what I want is to finally be Mrs. Liam Spencer for real... (sighs) and forever.

Brooke: A big "yes" to that.

Eric: (Chuckles)

Stephanie: (Whispering) How many more failed attempts do we have to have at weddings before everyone is willing to admit Liam and Hope are not meant to be a couple?

Ridge: Way to show support, Mother.

Stephanie: Oh, stop it. I love Hope. She's a wonderful girl. Otherwise, I wouldn't have agreed to let them have the ceremony here. But I can't support, in good faith, that marriage. I know. I can see that Liam is still very conflicted about Steffy, so... why can't you see that?

Ridge: Well, I'm kind of caught in the middle, in case you haven't noticed. Liam may love Steffy, but he loves Hope as well. Now if she's gonna be his choice, who am I to oppose that? It's not like I have a lot of room to be self-righteous.

Stephanie: (Sighs) I don't know how wise this is. Everyone's always rallying to Hope's side. It's very apparent to me and to a lot of other people that Liam and Steffy love each other.

Liam: Where-- what are we doing now? Oh!

Steffy: Come on.

Liam: Come--come on?

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Liam: You're taking me home, right?

Steffy: No, you're getting on my bike.

Liam: Home--like I'm getting on your bike to go home?

Steffy: You are getting on my bike.

Liam: Us safe at home, right?

Steffy: Mm-hmm.

Liam: We're-- we're just gonna go... no? Okay, fine.

(Motorcycle engine turns over)

(Engine revs)

Brooke: I am very impressed. You actually pulled it off.

Hope: Mm.

Brooke: (Chuckles)

Hope: You didn't think Stephanie would let us get married here?

Brooke: Well, I had my doubts. You know how protective she is of her namesake.

Hope: I know. I know. And it can't be easy for any of you, you know, picking sides between Steffy and me. (Sighs) I mean, it's partly why I-I-I don't want her to come. I-I-it shouldn't be about tearing people apart. It should be about bringing the family together. But I mean, do you think I'm wrong to exclude her?

Brooke: No! Absolutely not.

Hope: Okay. Okay.

Brooke: Not after what she did in Italy. I don't even know why she'd want to be here anyway, unless she's a closet masochist.

Hope: I don't want to talk about Steffy.

Brooke: (Clears throat) Okay.

Hope: I just--I want to focus on the future... (Sighs) On Liam and I and--and our lives together, finally free to live as husband and wife.

Liam: Wow! That was...

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Liam: That was crazy.

Steffy: You like that, huh?

Liam: Yeah, I knew--well, I knew you had a motorcycle. I didn't think you could handle it like that.

Steffy: Oh, no, I learned how to ride on Mulholland.

Liam: Really?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: You risk taker.

Steffy: No, I just figured if I could ride down safely, I could ride anywhere.

Liam: Well, that was just-- that was--there are no words for whatever that was.

Steffy: Was it--was that your first time on a motorcycle?

Liam: No, this is-- that's what I'm saying. It's never even entered my consciousness before.

Steffy: (Chuckles) Well, now it's stuck there for good.

Liam: Yeah, no kidding. That was amazing.

Steffy: (Chuckles) I love seeing you like this...

Liam: Oh, yeah?

Steffy: Energized and--and goofy.

Liam: (Chuckles)

Steffy: Let me take a good long look at you, because you're not gonna be feeling like this much longer. (Chuckles)

Liam: You know, that's relentless. Thank you.

Steffy: I just want you to realize, okay?

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: I want you to have fun and party, dance till you drop...

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: Roaring down the highways with the wind down your face. I mean, that is life-- exploring life's possibilities. Liam, don't marry Hope, okay? Have fun and be free. You can't say you're not a little tempted.

Liam: I'm tempted.

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: I'm tempted.

Steffy: Yeah?

Liam: All right, you knock me out, Steffy. I mean, that you just grab ahold of every experience, and I have more fun with you than I do... I had fun with you, and--and--and I think you're amazing.

Steffy: One of a kind?

Liam: Yeah, see, you say that. You joke, but I really think that there--there is nobody in the world like you.

Steffy: (Chuckles) You might want to consider that before you tie yourself to Hope for the rest of your life.

Liam: That's not what... (Chuckles)

Steffy: Or--or maybe you're just not ready to let me go.
