Steffy: You asked Hope to come home. So where is she?

Liam: She’s... (Stammers) She's staying at her mom's until we figure out the--the--the plan. It's--

Steffy: No, no, don't-- don't do that. Just stop making excuses for her, Liam.

Liam: (Sighs) Uh...

Steffy: She's not just staying with her mom, Liam. She walked out on you again.

Brooke: (Sighs) Thank you.

Ridge: You're welcome.

Brooke: Mm.

Hope: Hey. Uh, so Liam... (Sighs) Came by tonight.

Ridge: He did?

Hope: He asked me to come home.

Brooke: What did you say?

Hope: Hmm.

Brooke: Hope.

Hope: It was a really good talk. And he understands why I can't stay with him like nothing ever happened. My trust and my faith in Liam were broken. So we decided... (Sighs) To start fresh. We're going to plan another wedding, one that will be filled with good memories.

Caroline: (Groans) It's so hot! We might have to jump back in the pool.

Thomas: Or we could just stay here, keep doing what we're doing.

Thomas: Mm.

Danielle: (Clears throat) You two look like you could use a little cooling off.

Caroline: Hi, Mom.

Danielle: Hi.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Thomas: Hi there.

Danielle: Sorry to interrupt. I checked the guesthouse.

Caroline: Oh, yeah, Thomas and I went for a swim.

Thomas: Yeah, this heat wave is insane, right?

Danielle: You know, it's rather nice at the beach.

Caroline: Uh-oh. I know where this is going.

Danielle: We've got your room all set up for you. (Sighs) We would love to have you move back home.

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Caroline: You really want me to move in with you?

Danielle: Karen's been away on business.

Thomas: And you're having empty nest syndrome. It's--its fine. My mom gets that way, too.

Danielle: I miss my daughter. I'm so used to seeing you every day.

Caroline: I know. I'm sorry. Thomas and I have just been a little busy lately.

Thomas: Yeah, playing amateur detectives.

Caroline: (Giggles) We've been pretty much inseparable. But for a good cause, though.

Thomas: Yeah, it was.

Hope: I hate being away from Liam, but after what happened in Italy, I-I-I feel like this is the only way.

Brooke: (Sighs) Liam is a Spencer, and just like his father, he may have issues with you walking out on him.

Hope: I'm just staying here temporarily until I sort things out. And I think I have-- a new wedding, a fresh start-- and he understands.

Brooke: Does he? Are you sure?

Liam: It's not permanent. Hope's moving back in.

Steffy: After yet another wedding.

Liam: She is coming home, Steffy.

Steffy: Yeah, fine. She'll move back in, and everything will be great, but how long do you think it'll be until she moves back out?

Liam: It's not gonna work like that.

Steffy: You got it bad. Well, somebody's gotta knock some sense into you, and I think... I think that person needs to be me. Oh, come on. We are going out.

Liam: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want to do that. I-I really don’t. I-I don't want to go anywhere.

Steffy: No, no, no, too bad. I am kidnapping you. You want to spend the rest of your life with Hope, fine. But you are free right now, and you are not enjoying it.

Liam: I-- (Sighs)

Steffy: No, come on. I am gonna give you a first-class lesson on how to live.

Caroline: The good news is, through our little investigation, Thomas and I figured out that it wasn't Marcus, but it was another car that hit Anthony.

Danielle: (Clicks tongue)

Caroline: And he is doing great, by the way.

Danielle: This is what the two of you have been up to?

Caroline: Mostly. (Chuckles)

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Danielle: (Gasps) Well, you make a good team.

Thomas: It's funny. My grandma said the same thing.

Caroline: Yeah, Stephanie said she saw a lot of Ridge and Aunt Caroline in Thomas and me.

Danielle: Well, that's quite the compliment, especially coming from Stephanie.

Caroline: (Sighs)

Hope: This is the last wedding Liam and I are going to have, I promise.

Ridge: Hey, it happens.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: Your mother and I are big fans of multiple weddings.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Hope: (Laughs) Tell me about it.

(Knock on door)

Pam: Yoo-hoo! Anybody home? Oh, good Lord...

Brooke: (Sighs)

Pam: Does that air-conditioning feel good. I thought I was gonna melt on the way over here.

Brooke: Hey, Pam.

Pam: (Sighs)

Ridge: Do you have the quarterlies for me?

Pam: I sure do. Here you go, Boss.

Ridge: Okay. Oh, this isn't what I asked for.

Pam: What?

Ridge: No.

Pam: Don't worry about it. I'll call the office and see what Madison did wrong with it. (Sighs)

Brooke: So... (Sighs) How soon do you think you can plan this wedding?

Hope: Mm, well, I promised Liam it would be really soon.

Brooke: You could always have it here.

Hope: Yeah, I thought about that. Um, but... honestly, there's one place that I've always wanted to get married.

Brooke: Where?

Hope: Eric and Stephanie’s.

Ramona: Hi, Lady.

Liam: Hey, how are you, Ramona?

Steffy: She just came in from, uh, from Aspen.

Liam: Oh, right.

Ramona: In town for a couple of days on assignment. Had to come out when I heard Othello was guest deejaying.

Liam: Oh, yeah.

Steffy: No.

Ramona: It's pretty hot tonight.

Liam: Yeah, literally.

Steffy: As hot as it is, this guy needs some warming up. You know what I mean?

Ramona: (Chuckles) Well, um, I know the bartender, so let me grab you guys some drinks. Excuse me.

Steffy: All right.

Liam: Okay.

Thomas: I should probably call my sister. She's going through a rough time. Its guy problems.

Caroline: Steffy's still in love with Liam.

Danielle: But he's still married to Hope, right?

Thomas: Not officially.

Caroline: It's a very long story.

Thomas: Well... (Sighs) There's just a back and forth between Hope and Liam. It--don't get me wrong. I-I st--I care about Hope. It's just--

Caroline: They used to date.

Thomas: Briefly. Look, I feel for her and what she's gone through, but I honestly think my sister's better for Liam.

Caroline: Not that you’re biased. Go. Go make your phone call. I'm gonna fill my mom in on all the juicy details.

Thomas: Don't hold it against us.

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Thomas: (Sighs)

(Cell phone ringing)

Steffy: Hello?!

Thomas: Hey. So what is it, the islands or Malibu? Why is it so loud? Where the heck are you?

Steffy: I brought Liam to a club.

Thomas: Real--wait. Hope didn't come home?

Steffy: No. No. Not yet. Uh, she's planning their wedding, if Liam marries her. No, I just-- I wanted to take him out, so he could just live life and--and be happy without Hope, you know?

Thomas: You mean, how happy he could be with you.

Steffy: Oh. (Sighs) She's just too immature, you know? She--she's complicated, and she is too young for marriage. I love Liam. That's why I want to save him from Hope.

Ridge: You want to get married at my parents' house?

Hope: (Sighs) Well, yeah. I mean, Eric and Stephanie’s is like-- it's the family home. We've had just about every Christmas and Thanksgiving there. It's--it's really special.

Pam: Excuse me, but... (Chuckles) I'm a little confused. You just married Liam in Italy. What do you need to get married again for?

Hope: (Clears throat)

Pam: Is--is there something I don't know? Stephanie never tells me anything anymore.

Ridge: Pammy, it's complicated.

Hope: Just-- just some things happened.

Ridge: Their marriage isn't valid in California.

Brooke: Hope's staying with us for a little while.

Hope: I just needed some space to sort some things out.

Pam: It must be pretty serious if you moved out.

Hope: (Groans) Oh, my God. I did not move out. I wish people would quit calling it that.

Pam: Well, you're not with your husband. What would you call it?

Hope: I am planning another wedding, and then we will be together.

Steffy: Cheers!

Liam: Cheers!

(Glasses clink)

Steffy: Are you having fun yet?

Liam: I'm getting there.

Steffy: (Laughs)

Liam: I'm getting there.

Steffy: Well, I guess I have to work a little bit harder.

Liam: What?

Steffy: Here.

Liam: What? What? Where you--where you going? What?

Steffy: Okay.

Othello: Listen up, everyone. Steffy Forrester-- special guest deejay. Make some noise.

All: (Cheering)

Steffy: How's everyone doing tonight?

All: (Cheering)

Steffy: I can't hear you.

All: (Cheering)

Steffy: That is what I'm talking about. Okay, I want everybody off their seat and on the dance floor, all right? It's about to get fun tonight. You ready for this?

All: Yeah!

Liam: Yeah!

(Dance music playing)

Caroline: Mm. Feels good.

Thomas: It never gets this hot in L.A.

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Thomas: I blame you for bringing the heat. Mm.

Caroline: I love it.

Thomas: Me, too.

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Thomas: It just means I get to see you wearing less clothes.

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Caroline: It reminds me of Manhattan in the summer. It's hot and humid-- my favorite time of the year.

Thomas: Yeah?

Caroline: Mm-hmm.

Thomas: You miss it?

Caroline: New York?

Thomas: Yeah.

Caroline: Sometimes. But if I didn't come to L.A., I would have never met you. A bunch of us used to go up to the rooftops on sultry nights like this. It's the only place you could get a breeze, and we'd bring a couple bottles of wine and listen to music, the sounds of the city. I think that's what I miss the most. You don't get that very much here.

Thomas: City noise?

Caroline: It's soothing to me.

Thomas: (Chuckles) You know what?

Caroline: Hmm?

Thomas: Close your eyes. Close them.

Caroline: Okay.

Thomas: Don't peek.

Caroline: I'm not. (Giggles)

Thomas: I'm serious.

Caroline: I'm not peeking.

(Car horns honking)

Thomas: There's an app for everything.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Caroline: Oh, that's so much better.

Thomas: Feel at home now?

(Honking continues)

Caroline: Completely.

Brooke: Are you sure you want to have this at Eric and Stephanie’s?

Hope: (Sighs) Do you think they'll be okay with it?

Ridge: I think we can make it happen.

Hope: (Sighs) Really? You'll help me?

Ridge: I'll give it my best shot, Sweetheart.

Hope: Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. I mean, Italy was... breathtaking. But it was--it was so messed up. I just--I want this wedding to be really beautiful, very sophisticated, and--and elegant, you know, maybe with a string quartet or something. And family-- I want it to be all about family. And I know Steffy’s your daughter, but she is not invited. I hope you understand.

Brooke: (Sighs) She won't be there, Sweetie. I'll make sure of it.

Hope: Okay. I really want to do this soon, so I'll start, you know, talking to wedding planners and caterers and--

Pam: Whoa, whoa. What the heck would you be needing a wedding planner for when you're got me? I'm your girl.

Brooke: Wait. Wait. Wait. (Laughs) Maybe we should just keep this simple. I mean, I think having it at Stephanie’s is going to create some issues.

Hope: (Sighs) I really think it's the perfect place. I mean, it's--it's part of the Forrester family tradition. When I look back on my wedding, I want to be proud, you know? I want it to be filled with only positive feelings. (Sighs) I will finally be Liam’s wife for real this time. And nothing will ruin this wedding.

(Dance music playing)

Steffy: How's everyone feeling?

All: (Cheering)

Steffy: You're feeling good? You're feeling good?

All: Yeah!

Steffy: Okay, so for my next song-- is for a very, very special friend of mine, a man who needs to be reminded what it's like to be free.

Liam: (Chuckles)

All: Yeah!
