Marcus: (Sighs)

Dayzee: (Whispering indistinctly)

Leilani: Oh! (Gasps) So they got you out on bail?

Thomas: No bail. The charges were dropped.

Tony: They were?

Justin: Yeah.

Dayzee: Yeah, it turns out Marcus didn't hit Anthony. Someone else did.

Leilani: (Gasps)

Marcus: Yeah, Thomas and Caroline figured it out.

Tony: The security tape.

Thomas: Yeah. It was all right there.

Justin: Nice piece of detective work.

Leilani: Mm-hmm.

Dayzee: Seriously, guys, we're so grateful. We can't thank you enough.

Marcus: Really. Thanks to you two, we got our lives back.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm. (Sighs)

Rick: (Sighs) So how you holding up?

Hope: I'm guessing mom filled you in.

Rick: Pretty much. You walked out. (Grunting)

Hope: I just needed some space.

Rick: And, uh, old lover boy didn't try to stop you?

Hope: No, he did. He tried to convince me to stay. But I don't know. Mom thinks I'm overreacting. Apparently, a lot of people do.

Rick: I don't.

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Liam: (Breathing heavily)

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Liam: (Sighs) Hey.

Steffy: Hey. You, uh, working out?

Liam: I was running on the beach. (Sighs)

Steffy: You feel better?

Liam: Not really, no. (Chuckles)

Steffy: So, uh, put in a few more miles. I mean, you were always good at, uh, working off stress.

Liam: Yeah, you'd know, wouldn't you?

Steffy: (Chuckles) Oh, yeah. Yeah. Look, I was just checking in on you.

Liam: Thanks. You know, I'm--I'm... I'm good.

Steffy: Well, you're looking pretty good.

Liam: (Chuckles)

(Doorbell rings)

Liam: Hey, listen, thanks for stopping by earlier today.

Steffy: Go ahead. Say it.  You needed that.

Liam: You're right. It was fun walking on the beach. I haven't done that in a really long time, you know, so... I gotta go.

Steffy: Okay. I'll talk to you later.

Liam: (Clears throat)

Katie: Steffy on the phone?

Rick: So let me ask you, how do you feel about the guy?

Hope: (Sighs) I don't know. I still love him. And--and--and I'm not ready to let this go.

Rick: Yeah, well, some advice from your older brother-- get ready-- he doesn't deserve you, Hope. And what he did to you at your wedding is completely inexcusable, period.

Liam: Is that why you're here-- just to talk trash about Steffy?

Katie: I'm here to convince you to stay with your wife. I shouldn't have to do that.

Liam: No, you don't. I'm not giving up on my wife.

Katie: Even though she's staying with Brooke?

Liam: Well, I wish she hadn't done that.

Katie: (Sighs) But you know why she did. Listen, I get it. You're a Spencer. You don't like when a woman walks out on you, but for God sake, don't let Steffy walk in.

Taylor: So you know Hope is staying with Brooke.

Steffy: Yes. Yeah. Um, Liam told me. Hope tore up the marriage papers before they could sign them.

Taylor: Really? So you've seen Liam?

Steffy: Yeah, I, um, I saw him this morning. We took a walk on the beach. We used to love doing that. You know, it felt like we were, you know...

Taylor: Married?

Steffy: We're not, Mom.

Taylor: Well, he isn't legally married to Hope, either.

Steffy: Yeah, but it doesn't have to be that way. Liam wanted to go to the courthouse yesterday. But Hope tore up the papers, and I try to give her advice, but she doesn't listen to me. She ignores me. I really--I don't even know what I can do anymore.

Brooke: You can stay away from her husband.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Thomas: We got a flat tire, broke the front rim, and we hit the same pothole you hit, Marcus.

Caroline: Yeah, so we were at the garage getting it fixed, when Thomas remembered the security cameras.

Justin: Yep, it was all there on tape. Anthony gets hit by a car that keeps going. Then Marcus comes along, hits a pothole, stops, he get out, and he sees Anthony on the street.

Marcus: No, I just knew that I hit the guy.

Dayzee: Ah, but you didn't.

Stephanie: So does anybody know where Anthony is? Is he still upset with you?

Marcus: I have no idea.

Anthony: Ask him in person. He's in the house.

Liam: So you talked to Hope.

Katie: Yes.

Liam: What am I supposed to do, Katie? I mean, how do I help her through this? I don't know. I--

Katie: You're supposed to be patient. She's in crisis. You're supposed to be there for her.

Liam: Katie, I want to be. I--you should have seen it. I did everything I could to keep her from leaving here last night.

Katie: Would you have stayed if the situation was reversed? Don't give up on her, Liam.

Liam: I won't.

Katie: She loves you, and I know you love her. Don't lose your wife over this, because if you're not careful, that's exactly what's gonna happen. Think about that next time Steffy shows up.

Rick: Look... (Sighs)

Hope: Thanks.

Rick: I know it's hard to let go.

Hope: It's so much more than that, Rick.

Rick: I know. You love the guy. Breakups are tough.

Hope: Yeah, but I mean, this isn't just some high school romance. You know, Liam and I, we've--we've been through so much together.

Rick: Then you should be able to trust him, especially on your wedding day.

Hope: I know. I know. But he really thought that I had left him.

Rick: No, don't. Don't defend him.

Hope: No, I'm--I'm not defending him. Trust me, I'm not. I just--I'm--I'm trying to look at this from all sides.

Rick: Hope, sweetheart, the guy's a head case. He can't make up his mind. And you know what? You are way too smart for this.

Hope: I'm not putting up with it.

Rick: You are if you go back to him. It's not gonna stop. The guy's stuck on Steffy.

Steffy: I have to work.

Brooke: Have you seen Liam?

Steffy: Yes. Yes, I have.

Brooke: Oh. So all those kind words of support to my daughter, that was just lip service?

Steffy: Hope wouldn't listen to me. And I know she's not listening to you, either.

Brooke: She needs time to digest what she saw.

Steffy: I did my best to encourage Hope not to leave Liam.

Brooke: She hasn't left Liam.

Steffy: Brooke, she offered me her wedding ring and then said I could have Liam. And I told her to go back to her husband.

Brooke: She didn't mean that, you know. Those two are going through a very difficult time, and they need time to sort this out, so just stay away from them completely.

Steffy: It doesn't have to be that difficult, Brooke. Liam--he did something...

Brooke: (Sighs)

Steffy: Off of false information. All Hope had to do was forgive him, but she wouldn't. That's her choice, and now she has to live with it.

Brooke: Which means?

Steffy: She may lose him to me.

Thomas: There you go. Easy.

Dayzee: It's... (Sighs) it's--it's so good to see you out of the hospital, Anthony.

Anthony: Yeah, Dayzee, it's good to be out.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Justin: You heard about Marcus's hearing.

Anthony: Yes. He didn't do it. And you two figured it out.

Stephanie: (Chuckles)

Dayzee: Yep. Saved the day, hmm? They saved Marcus from having to go to jail for something that he didn't do.

Anthony: Yeah, saved me, too, from a lot of hate and bad karma. I-I-I want to say something. Thomas, can you help?

Thomas: Yeah. Ooh, there you go. (Chuckles)

Anthony: I falsely accused you, Marcus. I said some really bad things. I shouldn't have done that. But I need your forgiveness. I know I might not deserve it, but I'm asking anyway.

Marcus: You made a mistake, and I made one, too. No, I didn't hit you, but I could have.

Anthony: So we're good?

Marcus: Yeah. We good.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Anthony: (Chuckles)

Leilani: Glad you're back.

Stephanie: Well, Anthony, let's hope the police can figure out who actually did this to you.

Caroline: Maybe they'll need our help. (Chuckles)

Anthony: The two sleuths.

Thomas: What can I say? We make a pretty good team...

Caroline: Mm.

Thomas: In a lot of ways.

Hope: If Steffy is the one that Liam wants, then I'm--I'm not gonna fight him on that. But I really don't think she is.

Rick: Even after what happened in Italy?

Hope: Uh, I-I'm-- I'm really hoping that I can deal with that in time.

Rick: I don't think Steffy's gonna give you time.

Hope: I'm done competing, you know? I've just--I've--I've got to believe that I'm the only woman in Liam's life. And until I do... (Sighs)

Rick: At least let him get you a diamond necklace or super bowl tickets...

Hope: (Chuckles)

Rick: Or something.

Hope: I am not for sale.

Rick: I am.

Hope: Oh.

Rick: Now get me those damn super bowl tickets.

Hope: Okay, I'll see what I can get for you.

Rick: (Chuckles)

Hope: Okay, I have to go back to work, so, um, thank you for your wonderful advice.

Rick: Yeah.

Hope: Sweaty brother.

Rick: Well, yeah, I was working out.

Hope: Love you.

Rick: Love you, too.

Liam: (Inhales sharply)

Steffy: Great.

Hope: These what you're looking for?

Steffy: Thank you. Yes. Hmm.  Hope, what--what more do you want from us?

Hope: Us?

Steffy: Yes. Liam and me.

Hope: You make it sound like you're a couple. Is that how you see it?

Steffy: Okay, you know what? We messed up, and--and we apologized repeatedly. I'm not perfect. Liam's not perfect. You're not perfect. We are human beings. Just admit it, all right

Hope: (Sighs)

Steffy: You love Liam. Go back to him. He would--

Hope: Steffy, I don't think I'm expecting perfection by wanting my husband to keep his hands to himself on our wedding day. I think that's called common sense. It's just so simple for you, isn't it?

Steffy: No, you know what? It--it shouldn't be difficult, Hope. He loves you.

Hope: You think I'll lose him.

Steffy: It could happen.

Hope: To you, I suppose.

Steffy: If he wants me, I'll be there.

Marcus: So did you get ahold of mom?

Justin: No, I haven't yet. She's, uh, out in Europe gallivanting with your grandfather.

Marcus: That's good.

Justin: Yeah.

Marcus: You know, if she found out about this, she'd be on the first plane out.

Justin: (Chuckles) Most definitely.

Anthony: I want to thank you, Mr. Barber.

Justin: Justin. And for what?

Anthony: For keeping this guy out of jail.

Marcus: (Chuckles)

Justin: You know, I couldn't have done it without these two. (Chuckles)

Anthony: Yeah, well, I owe all of you, especially you, Marcus, for getting me to the hospital and bringing Dr. Mede into my life. He's gonna fix this foot. He's gonna make it as good as new.

Marcus: (Chuckles)

Justin: All right. All right.

Anthony: No more limping. (Chuckles) Won't that be something?

Justin: Yeah. Sounds like a plan.

Caroline: So what's our next case, Sherlock?

Thomas: Elementary, my dear.

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Thomas: We are in search of the perfect... kiss.

Stephanie: Well, who knew the family had detectives in it.

Caroline: (Giggles)

Thomas: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Maybe you should have an agency.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Thomas: Maybe.

Stephanie: Have I told you guys lately that you remind me a lot of your aunt and your dad? Yeah. You remind me so much of them, Ridge and Caroline. Gosh, they were a beautiful couple, just like you. They had that kind of magic about them. And the family could certainly use a lot of that now.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Caroline: So was there a message there?

Thomas: There always is with my grandma.

Caroline: And what might that be?

Thomas: She wants us to be a part of the family.

Caroline: Does she always get what she wants?

Thomas: Always.

Dayzee: You know, those two are seriously digging one another.

Marcus: Yeah, and who would know better more than you? You know, I am one lucky man in more ways than one.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: And I still owe my beautiful bride a proper wedding night.

Dayzee: Well, you were a little distracted.

Marcus: I'm--okay, a little.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: (Chuckles)

Dayzee: (Sighs) Thank God everything turned out the way it did.

Marcus: The thought of being away from you and Rosey...

Dayzee: I know. And I can admit it now-- I was really scared.

Marcus: Yeah, you were a little scared.

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Marcus: But you did a great job covering it up.

Dayzee: Thank you.

Marcus: I was scared, too.

Dayzee: (Sighs) I don't want to be without you, Marcus, ever.

Marcus: Well, I have learned my lesson, okay? And I am never going to do that again.

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Marcus: I'm serious. You can count on it.

Dayzee: Okay.

Marcus: Okay.

Dayzee: I've never loved you more than I do right now.

Marcus: Well, let's go home then, you know what I'm saying?

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Marcus: I'm serious, though.

Dayzee: We will.

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Hope: So you've ruined my wedding, and now you're trying to mess with my marriage.

Steffy: No, Hope, you are doing that on your own. Liam doesn't deserve to be punished, but that's exactly what you're doing.

Hope: And if you had seen a video like I saw, your fiancé making out with another woman, you wouldn't have been just a little bit bothered?

Steffy: Of course, I would. Given the circumstances, I--

Hope: Steffy, you wouldn't have given a damn about the circumstances. You would have been hurt and angry, especially if I were the other woman.

Steffy: But I would have gotten over it.

Hope: Well, I guess that's the difference between you and me. I don't want to get over it. I want it to end.

Steffy: Liam and I were married. We still love each other. But I respected his desire to marry you. And what did you do? What did you do? You walked out on him again. I'm sorry, I really am, but you are not fit to be his wife.

Hope: What, because I won't tolerate you making out with him?

Steffy: He thought you were gone for good!

Hope: Oh, God!

Steffy: He saw the note, okay? Look, I am trying to give you advice, but you just ignore it. Instead, you don't legalize your marriage. You rip up the papers. I can see what it did to him, Hope.

Hope: You've seen him?

Steffy: Yes, I have. I have, because I care.

Hope: You want him.

Steffy: I always wanted him.

Hope: So you're going after him.

Steffy: If you can't make him happy, Hope, I will.

Hope: Steffy... Liam loves me. And I still love him. We are having a problem right now, in large part because of you.

Steffy: (Scoffs)

Hope: You are going to give us a chance to work this out. That is the least you could do. Stay the hell away from Liam.

Steffy: (Sighs)
