Liam: You and me like this right here-- that's all that matters.

Hope: (Sniffles)

Liam: Okay? You forget about that videotape. Forget about Steffy and marriage certificates. None of it makes a difference. I love you. And we can work through this.

Taylor: What do you mean, she gave you her ring.

Steffy: Hope had it out, and she told me that I could take it. She said that I could have Liam.

Taylor: What did you do?

Steffy: I told her that she was foolish. Yeah, okay, part of me wants to have that life back. Part of me wants my husband back. But I'm not gonna take advantage of her mood swings. I'm not gonna jump in every time she freaks out. That's not how I want it to happen.

Marcus: (Inhales sharply) Some honeymoon, huh?

Dayzee: You'll make it up to me.

(Door opens)

Justin: Everything's set. The judge will call us to his chambers as soon as he's finished reviewing the file. We'll get you home tonight.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

(Bell rings)

Man: Didn't expect to see you guys back so soon. The car's not ready yet.

Thomas: Oh, no. We hit a pothole.

Caroline: Yeah, just down the street.

Thomas: Blown tire, busted rim.

Man: Uh... (chuckles) same as your friend's car. (Chuckles) What, is it, uh, is it contagious? (Chuckles)

Caroline: (Chuckles)

Man: (Clears throat) I'll check it out. Be right back.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Caroline: Strange, huh?

Thomas: Yeah, it's strange. I get the same damage hitting a pothole that Marcus does hitting a person.

Marcus: Well, the best part of getting this over with tonight is I can get home before my mom hears about it.

Justin: Exactly why I haven't told her yet.

Eric: There's no reason to tell Donna and get her all upset while she's on this trip with her father.

Stephanie: What are you talking about? You're gonna have to tell her eventually. Posting bail just gets you out of here. You're gonna probably stand trial.

Justin: Yeah, but they can drop it. Marcus has a lot of things in his favor. It's not exactly worth the prosecutor's time.

Eric: Yeah, but it's obvious that Marcus had no intent to harm Anthony.

Marcus: Yeah, but, Dad, if they're trying to make a point, then--

Justin: No, not--not with a case like this. You called the ambulance. You went to the hospital. You accepted responsibility.

Marcus: Well, yeah-- hell, yeah, and I plan on never texting and driving again.

Justin: I believe you, son. The judge will, too.

Caroline: Careful. You're on camera. Security feed.

Thomas: (Sighs) Yeah. Uh, a lot of robberies in this area last year. Most of the stores in this area have one now. Every Dayzee decided to...

Caroline: What?

Thomas: That pothole we hit was outside the coffee shop, right where Marcus hit Anthony. Maybe Dayzee's camera caught it on tape.

Taylor: Well, I've gotta say I-I'm very proud of you, knowing how much you love Liam.

Steffy: It wasn't that long ago where I would have grabbed that ring and ran. But you know what? Taking advantage and--and plotting, it's just not who I am anymore.

Brooke: I talked to Hope. I know she was here, offering to walk away from Liam.

Steffy: So you came to thank me, Brooke? Hope had her ring off. She was trying to give it to me. I told her to go home to her husband.

Hope: (Sighs) Liam, I want to believe that what happened doesn't matter. I love you. But I've got this decision now, because we still have to file these papers. I mean, I... I know that we've said the words, but that doesn't technically make it legal, and--and now, I'm just thinking... do I really want to commit my life to someone who would kiss another woman on our wedding day?

Liam: Hope, don't make it sound like I didn't--

Hope: No, Liam. Liam, I realize that things got really confusing for you when Deacon showed up and left that letter, but that--that does not make it okay. All the explanations, all the reasons that you're giving me does not change how I feel about what you and Steffy did on that bed while I was rushing off to pledge my life to you. And you just expect me to get over it?

Dayzee: Hi. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Quite a way to begin a married life.

Dayzee: Oh, my gosh. Unbelievable, right? (Sighs) It could have been worse, though--much worse.

Stephanie: That's true. At least Anthony's gonna be all right

Dayzee: Yeah. Reconstructive surgery-- he'll be better after it's over.

Stephanie: I hope so.

Dayzee: Yeah.

Stephanie: I don't suppose he wants to hear much of that now, though.

Dayzee: No.

Stephanie: No.

Dayzee: He's still really bitter, which, I mean, I don't blame him.

Stephanie: (Sighs)

Dayzee: Obviously, he's upset. But once he understands that Marcus never meant to hurt him-- he means what he said about not ever texting and driving again. It was a tough lesson to learn, but... he's learned it.

Stephanie: Well, I certainly hope so, but you know what they say-- actions speak louder than words.

Dayzee: That's right. (Sighs)

Thomas: Leilani? Hey.

Leilani: Hi. Oh, hi, Thomas. How's it going?

Thomas: Good.

Leilani: Can I get you two some coffee?

Thomas: Sure.

Leilani: Okay.

Thomas: Uh, hey, can I ask you a question? Do you know anything about the security cameras around here?

Leilani: Not really. Uh, check with Tony. He helped Dayzee set it all up.

Thomas: Great. Thank you.

Leilani: You're welcome.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Steffy: Yes, that will be fine. Okay, see you then bye.

Taylor: Are you done yet? Are you gonna stop berating my daughter?

Brooke: I just want to warn her.

Steffy: About what?

Brooke: Hope went home to Liam.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Steffy: Okay. Is--why is that a warning? I told her to.

Brooke: Please, just stay away.

Taylor: You know, I don't know why you're saying this to her. Steffy has done everything to back away from this. It's Hope who's the one who came by to give her husband away.

Brooke: They need some time alone to work this out without anybody intruding or manipulating.

Steffy: (Sighs) I don't know how to make you understand. Oh, my God.

Brooke: Just stay away from Hope and Liam. Do not interfere.

Liam: I don't just expect you to get over it. It'll take time. But we can get these images out of your head if we work together, if we're committed.

Hope: Well... (Sighs) that's... that's what's scary-- wondering about your commitment. (Sighs)

Liam: My-- are you kidding me?

Hope: No, I'm not. I heard something from Steffy today.

Liam: Okay.

Hope: She told me... (Sighs) that when I left the hotel room and she crawled out of her hiding place, she told you to marry me. You claim that you meant every word of your vows, but you never would have said them if it weren't for Steffy.

Marcus: So you really think this might not go to trial?

Justin: Let's just get you out on bail. We'll worry about the trial later.

Dayzee: But it could be six months if he's found guilty.

Justin: Yeah, it could be, or just 30 days.

Eric: But they could drop it.

Marcus: I'm guilty, okay? I wasn't paying attention, and I slammed into the man. Now yes, I did the right thing, okay? But that doesn't change anything. They won't drop it. Now I just think that we should all just accept the fact that I might be leaving you and Rosey for a while.

Stephanie: Well, there's a very good likelihood that could happen, but I don't think the two of you should dwell on it, because there's nothing you can do about it. Let's just wait and see if you do go to trial. Until then, I think you should just go home, spend as much time as you can with each other and the baby and work on your marriage, because that's what's gonna get you through it.

Tony: Here we go.

Thomas: Great.

Caroline: How far back does the footage go? We need the night of Dayzee's bridal shower.

Tony: Mm, not sure. Not sure.

Thomas: But the camera points towards the street, right?

Tony: Oh, it sure does.

Thomas: Good. Let's see what we can find.

(Keyboard keys clicking)

Taylor: What difference does it make, uh, whether-- whether Steffy is around Liam?

Steffy: Mom, don't even worry about it.

Taylor: No, this is ridiculous, honey.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: Brooke can't tell you who to stay away from and how to live your life. Steffy loves Liam. She is always gonna be there for him, not that the same can be said about Hope.

Brooke: I am just asking Steffy to give Hope and Liam a little space to work this out. I don't think that's being unreasonable.

Steffy: Okay, Brooke, she needs to realize that she can't just give up and walk out every time something bad happens. If she keeps acting like little miss "everything has to be perfect," she's going to lose him. I told her to go back home and to move on. For her sake, I hope that's what she's doing.

Hope: Was she telling the truth?

Liam: Yeah.

Hope: And if she had said the opposite, if she had said, "forget about Hope, go away with me," what would you have done?

Liam: (Scoffs) Hope, I love you both. That's no secret at this point. But I married you for a reason, and it wasn't because Steffy gave me permission.

Hope: We're not married yet.

Liam: Don't-- don't do that. Don't pretend like our vows didn't matter. Yeah, we haven't signed the papers yet. So what? We're married. Yes, yes, I kissed Steffy. In a terrible and confusing situation, I turned to one of my closest friends, and she gave me her blessings to follow through on what she knew I wanted more than anything-- marrying you. All it took was one look in your eyes-- no more confusion. I didn't even have to think twice about what had happened before. All that pain was a distant memory.

(Flashback)

Liam:  Hope, take this ring as a token of my love and fidelity.

Hope: Liam, take this ring as a token of my love and fidelity.

(Present time)

Liam: And the same can be true for you, if we work on this together. But you have to think about everything that we've been through to get to this point. This is just one more obstacle, one last obstacle to overcome. And we can do it. We can make this marriage happen. But you have to tell me that's what you want.

Justin: I'm gonna check with the clerk, see how much longer it'll be.

Marcus: Is Rosey too young for roller coasters?

Dayzee: (Chuckles) Yes, she's too young for roller coasters.

Marcus: Okay, well, we're gonna go anyway. No, I'm serious. I want to take her to as many places as I possibly can while I'm out.

Dayzee: (Scoffs)

Marcus: No, I-I'll take pictures. We're gonna take on--on-- on go-kart rides and things...

Dayzee:  Mmm hmm.

Marcus: Because I want her to know how much f she's gonna have when her daddy comes home.

Dayzee: (Scoffs) She doesn't need roller coasters-- just you. So, you know, we'll take pictures-- pictures of you holding her and loving her. But you won't need them. Come here.

Marcus: Huh?

Dayzee: Because we are gonna go to the prosecution. We'll go to the police. We'll go to anyone we have to every day, I have to, to make them understand. I will not lose you from my life.

Caroline: Well, this is the right night.

Thomas: Yeah, a pretty clear view of the street.

Caroline: Do you think that we'll see what happened to Anthony?

Thomas: (Sighs) I hope so. It might answer a few questions.

Hope: (Sighs) God, we fought so long to get to this point.

Liam: Yeah, and we'll keep fighting until we make it work.

Hope: Liam, I can't accept promises made to me because Steffy told you to.

Liam: I just said that's not why--

Hope: No, Liam, I think it seems really straightforward to you. You made vows, you honor them. But it's not that simple.

Liam: It is that simple.

Hope: No, it's not. I need some time.

Liam: Okay.

Hope: Away.

Liam: What? (Sighs) Come on.

Hope: I just--um... I'm sorry. I just--I can't stay here right now. I'm gonna go stay at my mom's.

Liam: No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do this.

Hope: Liam, I just--I don't want to deal with this anymore.

Liam: H-how are we supposed to get past it if we're not even around each other not even talking to each other?

Hope: I don't know. I'm not sure, Liam, but for right now, this is what I want. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, okay?

Liam: Wait a second wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hope, hey, hey. You don't need to do this. You don't.

Hope: Until I can wrap my head around this... it's just the way it has to be.  I'm sorry. (Sighs)  (Sniffles) (Sobs)

Taylor: You know, I try to stay out of how you raise your kids, but I have to tell you, the more you push Hope to Liam--

Brooke: I believe in them, Taylor.

Taylor: Yes, but at a certain point...

Brooke: What?

Taylor: Are you ever going to let Hope think for herself?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: You know, that video must have really upset her. Why should she have to be with a man who--who's in love with another woman? She isn't blind, and she doesn't want to be second to Steffy. Do your daughter a favor, and if she has given up on trying to make things work with Liam, let her live with it.

Brooke: (Sighs)

(Knock on door)

Steffy: You disappointed?

Liam: No. No. Hope just left, so...

Steffy: Yeah, no, I-I just actually drove by her. Is she coming back soon? 'Cause I can--I can leave. That's not a problem.

Liam: No, I-I mean, she's walking out on me.

Steffy: What? What? I can't believe she's doing this again.

Liam: Yeah. Yeah.

Steffy: You know, maybe... maybe it's for the best. I supported your marriage before. I took a step back and--and let you have a chance with your relationship. But then she walks out on you again because of this simple misunderstanding? It's time to let her go, Liam.
