Hope: Our wedding day, and he's touching Steffy like that. (Sighs) How could he do this?

Steffy: You're staring.

Liam: I'm waiting for you to say this is all a mistake.

Steffy: What is-- our divorce or your marriage to Hope?

Liam: (Scoffs) No, what Madison just e-mailed about Marcus.

Steffy: Yeah, I know. It's--it really is horrible. I feel for Dayzee and him and, you know, Anthony, too.

Liam: I know. Same here. I mean, they just got married. Can you imagine a-a worse wedding present-- Marcus charged with aggravated reckless driving?

Steffy: I know. You know what?

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: That actually reminds me. I never got you a wedding gift.

Liam: (Chuckles)

Steffy: Do you, like-- is there something special you need?

Liam: Huh.

Steffy: Huh.

Bill: (Clears throat)

Liam: Dad. Hey, when did you get in?

Bill: Open this. It's from Italy.

Steffy: I'm guessing it's... a bottle of wine.

Liam: Hope and I still need to sign these?

Bill: To make your marriage official.

Liam: I thought it already was.

Bill: In the eyes of the church, you are married. But according to the state of California, you are not. All you have to do is go down to the county's registrar office with these signed papers, say a couple of "I dos," and you're all legal. You and Hope will be out of there in no time.

Steffy: Oh, well. (Sighs) You can't blame a girl for hoping. I'm kidding... kind of.

Liam: (Chuckles)

(Door closes)

Liam: Did you have to do that, bring them here? I mean, isn't that kind of like rubbing it in her face?

Steffy: Hey.

Taylor: Pam said you were with Liam, so I didn't want to interrupt.

Steffy: Hmm. Didn't stop Bill. He just barged right in.

Taylor: What's wrong?

Steffy: Nothing. Nothing. Things couldn't be peachier.

Taylor: Are you still worried about that video of you and Liam?

Steffy: There is no video. It's been deleted, remember?

Hope: (Sniffles) I trusted him. He made me believe that it was over between him and Steffy.

Brooke: It is, Honey. It was over the minute he realized that good-bye note wasn't from you.

Hope: Mom, how are you defending him right now? How can you watch what just happened and defend him?

Brooke: Honey, please, just listen to me.

Hope: It--it is not what he told me. It is nothing like what he told me. It is so much more than what he made it seem. Oh, my God. What if there's more? What if there's more on that video?

Brooke: No, Sweetie... (Sighs) The battery died. Really, what you saw is all there is.

Hope: Okay, the-- yeah, the--the video stopped, but that does not mean that Liam and Steffy did. (Sobs) How can I be sure? They're there on that bed together. How can I be sure?

Brooke: I asked him.

Hope: (Sighs)

Brooke: And he assured me...

Hope: Yeah.

Brooke: That it didn't go that far.

Hope: Uh-huh. (Clears throat) (Sighs) Who else has seen this? (Sighs) Okay. (Sobs) He didn't tell me the whole truth. (Sniffles) He lied to me. I don't know Liam anymore.

Steffy: Look, Hope and Liam are married. Nothing's gonna change that... well, once it's officially official.

Taylor: I didn't know it wasn't.

Steffy: Bill brought over some papers that didn't get signed. As awesome as the ceremony was in Italy, they still need to make it legal in the U.S. Quick trip to the local registrar's office, you know, a couple of signatures-- well, it's not like they aren't married already in all the ways that really count.

Bill: It's all there-- no biggie-- the date and location of the wedding in Italy, what the bride was wearing, how dapper your dad looked as the best man, how supportive I'm being of your wife. I know it wasn't always that way-- in fact, it was never that way. I thought Steffy was the woman for you. But we're not dwelling on that any longer. Hope is your wife, or she will be, officially, by the end of the day. What?

Liam: Something happened between Steffy and me the day Hope and I got married. (Sighs)

Bill: (Scoffs) Before or after you learned that the letter was from Hope's old man?

Liam: Before. I thought Hope had left me. I was crushed. I was devastated. And then Steffy showed up, and... you know, and some kissing happened. It--it got a little intense. But we didn't--we did not have... you know.

Bill: All right. All right. All right. All right. So what's the big deal?

Liam: I told Hope.

Bill: You-- you told Hope. But--damn it, Son, when are you gonna stop being such a boy scout?

Liam: I-I know. (Sighs)

Bill: (Sighs) So what happened?

Liam: It's fine. Now it's fine. We're good. I mean, Hope--I--Hope understands and--and that's the most important thing. I mean, she understands how it happened. And you know, we've never been stronger.

Brooke: Honey, I know you're in pain right now, and as bad as this looks, I--

Hope: (Sniffles)

Brooke: You need to know Liam didn't mean to hurt you.

Hope: Mom, stop.

Brooke: I'm not gonna let you think what you're thinking.

Hope: I don't even know what I am thinking right now. (Sighs)

Brooke: Liam didn't want you to see this video, because he was afraid of this, of how you would feel. You have to think of the circumstances.

Hope: (Sighs)

Brooke: He thought you were out of his life for good.

Hope: Mom, will you please stop defending him.

Brooke: I'm not. I'm just trying to give you some perspective.

Hope: Perspective? (Sniffles) Liam was going to leave with Steffy on Bill's jet.

Brooke: No. No. He was just reacting to what he thought had happened. That's not how he really felt.

Hope: He still loves her.

Brooke: Hope.

Hope: He didn't say it. He didn't have to say it. But you saw the way he looked at her.

Brooke: He married you. He is committed to you.

Hope: For how long? Until there's another misunderstanding and he runs right back into Steffy's arms or her bed?

Brooke: They didn't sleep together. You do know that.

Hope: Yeah. (Chuckles) (Sighs)

Hope: If he could turn to her so quickly and barely an hour later turn around and make vows to me... how could you do that?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: (Sniffles)

Brooke: Honey.

Hope: (Sobs)

Bill: That's why I pay you the big bucks--to handle jerks like Vanstory when I'm away. I leave for one day, and the joint falls apart.

Liam: You'll whip them back into shape.

Bill: The way Hope did you?

Liam: I had it coming. (Sighs)

Bill: What about Steffy?

Liam: She's moving on with her life.

Bill: You sure about that?

I never thought that you would be the one to hold my heart but you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start you put your arms around me and I believed that it's easier or you to let me go you put your arms around me and I'm home you put your arms around me and I'm home

Hope: I remember every promise he made that day. He was so sweet and funny. But when he looked into my eyes, and he vowed never to let a day go by without showing me how important I am to him--

Brooke: And you are, Sweetie. You're the most important person in the world to him.

Hope: That's how he made me feel. But I’m not. How can I be? (Sniffles)

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: I mean... he was with Steffy. How--how can he go from kissing his ex-wife to committing his life to somebody else? I mean, did he not mean any of it?

Brooke: Those vows were as sacred to Liam as they were to you.

Hope: I thought so. They're not. I mean... (Sniffles) What am I supposed to do after seeing this video? What--am--am I just supposed to pretend it never happened?

Brooke: Honey, he made stake. He knows that and he's sorry.

Hope: (Sniffles) How can I trust that he won't do this again?

Brooke: (Sighs) Because that's just not who he is. I mean, he doesn't go running around behind your back and cheating on you. You have to put yourself in his shoes, what he was feeling, the betrayal.

Hope: Yeah, no, I-- I know, and I... (Sniffles) I get all that. But if it were me, and I had found the note, I would have done everything I could to try to find him, to try to talk to him and figure out what had really gone wrong. But he didn't. (Sniffles) He read it, and that was that. He didn't try. He didn't fight for us at all. He just turned to Steffy. All he saw was her. And all he wanted... was her.

Brooke: Hope. Hope, where are you going? Hope, come back! (Sighs) Where's your father?

Steffy: I don't know. What's wrong?

Brooke: (Sighs) It's that damn video-- that's what's wrong. Hope saw it on my computer.

Steffy: Wait, how is that possible?

Brooke: Look, it's too difficult to explain. I just need to find your father.

Steffy: No, no, Brooke, you're freaking out. Relax.

Brooke: I'm freaking out, because my daughter is devastated.

Steffy: Yeah, well, I will deal with it.

Brooke: No. No. You stay away from Liam, and you stay away from Hope.

Steffy: Okay, can you just relax, please?

Brooke: If you just stayed away on their wedding day, none of this would be happening.

Steffy: Oh, that is really unfair.

Brooke: This marriage means a lot to Hope, and if you think you're gonna capitalize on this little situation--

Steffy: No, I'm-- I'm not gonna do any of... (Sighs) Wait, you really think they won't make it?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Liam: Hope? Where are you? Hey, Gorgeous, you in the shower? Oh, there you are. You're not gonna believe this. My dad dropped this off today. Apparently... (Scoffs) We're--we're not officially married. I know, right? Like a--like a wedding in front of an entire town of people watching us say our vows doesn't count, but evidently, Italy was just the ceremony. It's not official until we sign that, so... yeah, anyway, I'll explain everything on the way to the registrar's office, and then we can come back here and make the honeymoon official. (Chuckles) You coming?

Hope: No.

Liam: Um... okay. Yeah, I mean, well, I guess we can put it off until tomorrow, but I--

Hope: You told me you kissed her.

Liam: What?

Hope: It wasn't just... some kissing. You were all over each other on the bed, making out, making plans. It's all on the video. I saw it on my mom's computer. Tell me something, Liam. How did you leave that bed with Steffy, then look into my eyes and say wedding vows? Were you lying?

Liam: No, I meant every word of those vows, and I'm not gonna let you overreact. I told you what happened.

Hope: You told me what you wanted me to know and only because my mother forced you to.

Liam: I did not lie to you, Hope. Why--why would you want to know something like that? Why would you want to know details like that?

Hope: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Are you playing that card with me right now?

Liam: I'm okay--I think--

Hope: Liam!

Liam: Can we just take a-a breather here?

Hope: You want to take a breather right now? What is that gonna do, Liam? What will that do? It is not going to erase what happened between you and Steffy in that hotel room. It is not going to turn back the clock. Everything is ruined.

Liam: No, no, it's not. It's not ruined. Our wedding is not ruined. Our relationship is not ruined, not if that's what we chose. I-I was yours for every breath I took during that wedding, and I will be for every moment onward. Yeah, it was a long haul getting here, full of anguish and heartache and tragedy, but we're here now, and we never have to take another step backwards again. (Scoffs) I mean, come on, with everything stacked against us, we--we never would have made it to that beautiful moment if our love weren't strong enough. We will get through this, okay? I know this. We will get through this.
