Stephanie: You're not dressed yet.
Dayzee: No. I don't want to rush this.
Stephanie: Oh. (Chuckles) I don't blame you. It's such a... (Inhales sharply) lovely feeling waking up on your wedding day.
Dayzee: Yeah, especially in this beautiful home. Thank you again.
Stephanie: Oh, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Dayzee: Everyone has just been so incredible-- you, Eric, Thomas. It's so overwhelming. (Laughs)
Stephanie: Well, that's because you're a special person, and everybody wants you to be happy.
Dayzee: Oh.
Stephanie: And a wedding is the best possible excuse to have someone happy.
Dayzee: Yes. (Chuckles)
Stephanie: So, um, you heard from the groom?
Dayzee: No, not yet.
Stephanie: Oh. Wait till he sees you in that dress that Tom designed.
Dayzee: (Laughs) I know. Gosh. I wonder what he's doing right now. I hope he's as happy as I am.
(Thump)
(Tires screeching)
Thomas: Hey, man, what's going on?
Marcus: Hey, what's up, man?
Thomas: Is someone hurt?
Marcus: Yeah, yeah. It's Anthony.
Thomas: Okay, what happened?
Marcus: I hit him. I-I hit--I hit--I hit him with my car.
Thomas: Wait. What? Where?
Marcus: No, uh, I was texting.
Thomas: Oh, man.
Marcus: Was-- I was near Dayzee's, and--and I--and I didn't see him. So...
Thomas: Okay. How bad is it?
Marcus: Uh, I don't know, man. He wasn't conscious when they brought him. Damn, Tom, what have I done, man? Anthony's the homey. And now--and now he's in there. He's fighting for his life, man. (Stammers) I hit him. I hit him with the car, Tom. What have I done, man?
(Elevator bell dings)
Lt. Baker: Any word from the lab?
Charlie: Collins wants to know how far back.
Lt. Baker: Just last night. I want to know if and when this kid used his phone to text.
Brooke: The place looks lovely, Eric.
Rick: Yeah, I've got to say you're getting quite good at this.
Eric: Well, we've had a lot of practice.
Ridge: Marcus here yet?
Eric: Uh, no. No, he's not. Stephanie's upstairs with the bride-to-be, though. I know where they are. (Chuckles)
Brooke: Speaking of Stephanie, she wanted me to bring this.
Rick: That would make you the videographer?
Brooke: Me?
Eric: Unless you're not up to the task.
Rick: You do know how to use that thing, right?
Brooke: Ha ha. Excuse me, gentlemen, I have a wedding to shoot.
Eric: (Chuckles) God.
Donna: Hello? Hi there.
Eric: Hey. Come in. Hey.
Donna: Hi.
Ridge: Hey. Where's Bill?
Katie: He's out of town on business.
Eric: Well, you two must be thrilled.
Justin: Oh, yes, we couldn't be happier about this.
Donna: Dayzee is an incredible girl. To think, she's gonna be our daughter-in-law.
Katie: (Chuckles)
Eric: Well, they are very lucky to have found each other. We all are.
Rick: Uh-oh. Man's in wedding mode.
Katie: Oh.
Donna: (Laughs)
Eric: Yes, I am. And when you find the right young lady in your life, you'll understand.
Rick: Yeah, I suppose.
(Door opens)
Donna: Where's the champagne?
Katie: Yes.
Eric: Oh, champagne-- we got some.
Donna: Yeah.
Dayzee: (Sighs)
Stephanie: He's on his way, right?
Dayzee: Yeah. That's probably why he hasn't texted me back. I bet he's nervous. (Laughs)
Stephanie: Well, Tom will calm him right down. Nothing rattles that guy.
Dayzee: That's very true. Thomas is great. Marcus picked the perfect best man.
Thomas: Tell me everything.
Marcus: Okay. So I was texting Dayzee.
Thomas: While you were driving.
Marcus: No, Tom, I'm telling you, I just took my eyes off just for one split second, okay?
Thomas: Okay.
Marcus: An then bam, I hit something, and so I did-- I got out of the car, and there he was--Anthony. He was lying there on the ground. I hit him, Tom. I hit him with my car.
Thomas: Hey. Just relax. Okay, we just--we need to figure out how he's doing and we can go from there, all right?
Marcus: Yeah.
Thomas: (Sighs) That's Lieutenant Baker.
Marcus: What?
Thomas: What's he doing here?
Marcus: There's the doc. Doc, how is he?
Dr. Meade: He's lucky to be alive.
Marcus: Is he okay?
Dr. Meade: Well, he's conscious now, and that's a positive, but we still need to run some tests.
Marcus: Good. That's cool. Cool. I'd like to see him.
Dr. Meade: Just for a minute.
Marcus: Anthony? Can you hear me?
Anthony: Marcus.
Marcus: Yeah, it's me. Anthony, you gotta know that, um, I'm sorry about what happened. I'm sick about it. You gotta know that.
(Cell phone alert chimes)
Tony: Good to see you again, Mr. Forrester.
Eric: Um, my pleasure.
Leilani: I'm so happy for Dayzee and Marcus.
Eric: Me, too.
Rick: Um, excuse me. Uh, Dad, the minister's here.
Eric: Excuse me.
Tony: Hello.
Ridge: Dayzee and Marcus, I can't tell you how happy I am for you guys, but today is a particularly happy day for us and you guys. Congratulations to both of you. Love you.
Brooke: And what about your upcoming wedding?
Ridge: Oh, yes. There is that. I'll make an honest woman out of this here Brooke Logan. She is a handful, though.
Brooke: Oh, oh, oh. Here -- can you, Pam?
Pam: What?
Brooke: Just push that.
Pam: Push that.
Brooke: Just keep recording.
Pam: Keep recording. Okay. Hold it like this? (Gasps)
Ridge: Mm-hmm.
Brooke: Mm-hmm. Oh, yeah. She is a handful. (Squeals)
Pam: (Gasps) Okay, now.
Donna: (Laughs)
Katie: So, I guess you're the only one left standing, huh?
Donna: Yeah, I guess I'm going to be the Logan spinster. (Laughs)
Katie: Oh, yeah, right. You'll be in love by the end of the year.
Donna: That long, really?
Katie: (Chuckles)
Donna: So how's the bambino?
Katie: He seems to be growing every day.
Donna: Yeah? Well, it must kill Bill to be away from you.
Katie: Yes, he's a little insane right now. He's texting me like every hour on the hour. He's so concerned.
Donna: (Laughs) Oh, Katie, we're all concerned. You would tell us if there were something wrong, wouldn't you?
Katie: Of course, but there's nothing wrong. I am fine and this child is going to be just fine.
Donna: (Sighs)
Katie: (Chuckles)
(Knock on door)
Stephanie: The troops have gathered. (Laughs) Oh.
Dayzee: So, is Marcus here yet?
Stephanie: No, not yet. Everybody is so excited.
Dayzee: (Chuckles) As many wedding as you guys have here I just -- that surprises me.
Stephanie: Really? Well, I mean, I know we have a lot of weddings, and they're usually terrific, but this has a special meaning for everyone but particularly me.
Dayzee: Oh.
Stephanie: Honey, I just want you to have all the joy and happiness in this world. (Chuckles)
Dayzee: Oh. (Chuckles)
Dr. Meade: I finished the examination.
Marcus: Oh, good. So, how -- how's he doing, Doc?
Dr. Meade: Contusions, bruises, two broken ribs, a broken leg. I understand that he had a prior issue with his foot?
Thomas: Uh, yeah, yeah. It gives him a lot of problems. It's, uh, he walks with a limp.
Dr. Meade: Well, let me know if you need an orthopedic surgeon. I think I can help you out.
Marcus: That's real good. I mean, he's lived with that thing forever.
Dr. Meade: I should get back to him.
Marcus: I appreciate it. Thank you.
Dr. Meade: You're welcome.
Marcus: I can't do it. I can't even imagine it. I can't get married.
Thomas: Hey, come on.
Marcus: I should be here with Anthony.
Thomas: Relax. Okay? There's nothing you can do here. He's in good hands. Okay? You can come back here after the wedding.
(Cell phone alert chimes)
Marcus: It's Dayzee.
Thomas: She's probably worried. You usually answer her messages right away.
Lt. Baker: Yeah, that's what my son always says. Answer your messages, Dad. But you can't always do that, right?
Thomas: Lieutenant Baker, right?
Lt. Baker: Yeah, you're one of the Forrester boys, aren't you?
Thomas: Thomas.
Lt. Baker: Yeah. Well, this is my son. Uh, Charlie.
Charlie: Hi.
Lt. Baker: That is a fancy phone. Pricey looking. All those games. And uh, uh, apps.
Charlie: Apps.
Lt. Baker: Apps, yeah. Um, could I see it? I'm thinking of getting one like this.
Marcus: Yeah, go right ahead.
Lt. Baker: Whoa! Feels solid. (Clears throat) I bet you do a lot of texting on this, don't you?
Thomas: You know what? Uh, if you can excuse us, Lieutenant. We have a wedding to get to.
Marcus: Yeah.
Thomas: Marcus, he's getting married.
Lt. Baker: You don't say.
Marcus: Yeah, so. If there's nothing else, then I'm going to get going.
Lt. Baker: You're planning to go away for a honeymoon?
Marcus: No.
Lt. Baker: Good. Congratulations.
Marcus: Thanks.
Charlie: What do you think, Pop?
Lt. Baker: Fancy phone like that. He's using it all the time.
Charlie: Maybe too much.
Lt. Baker: We'll see.
Rick: Hey, beautiful.
Caroline: Hi.
Rick: I thought you'd be coming with Thomas.
Caroline: Yes, plans changed. Uh, Marcus needed him for something.
Rick: Uh, best man duties.
Caroline: Probably. (Chuckles)
Rick: Look, if you need some company --
Caroline: Oh, are you alone?
Rick: Well, not at the moment.
Caroline: (Laughs) Nice threads!
Rick: Yeah?
Caroline: Yeah.
Rick: I look better in a dress, though, right? (Laughs)
(Voices overlapping)
Pam: Well, it's about time.
Eric: Where have you been?
Thomas: We're here now. Let's get this show on the road.
Eric: Good.
Stephanie: Well, thank goodness.
Brooke: Oh, Marcus. You look a little stressed?
(All laughing)
Thomas: Whoa. Whoa. Take it easy. It's his wedding day. Cut him a little slack.
Brooke: Okay. Okay.
Stephanie: (Laughs)
Brooke: Well, it looks like everybody's here, except for Anthony.
Pam: Oh.
Stephanie. Oh.
Charlie: Got the e-mail from the lab.
Lt. Baker: Oh, let me see.
Charlie: (Sighs)
Lt. Baker: Oh.
Charlie: What?
Lt. Baker: Marcus' phone. The time line between his last text and his call to 9-1-1, 27 seconds.
Charlie: That was fast.
Lt. Baker: Yeah. So, Marcus is texting. Half a minute later, he calls 9-1-1. What's that tell you?
Charlie: He was texting when he hit Anthony.
Lt. Baker: Let's go.
Brooke: (Sighs) Hope would have loved this wedding.
Katie: She really had to work?
Brooke: Yeah, she's had a lot to do since her preview.
Katie: And Liam has to mind the store while his dad's away.
Brooke: That's right. It would have been nice if they were here. You know, being newlyweds and all.
Katie: They've been through so much. And that videotape still bothers me.
Brooke: It's over. Liam told Hope everything, and she forgave him.
Katie: Really? He told her everything?
Thomas: (Sighs)
Caroline: You okay?
Thomas: Well, I'm doing a lot better now.
Caroline: Another Forrester wedding. (Chuckles)
Thomas: I know.
Caroline: It's inspiring.
Thomas: Is it?
Caroline: Very much so. You don't think? I mean, you've probably been through a bunch, so --
Thomas: Every one of them's different.
Caroline: Mm-hmm.
Thomas: Do you ever think about what kind of wedding you'd like to have?
Caroline: Not until recently. How about you? Do you have a fantasy wedding? (Chuckles)
Thomas: I never give it a thought. But I do think a lot about the person standing next to me that day. (Chuckles (Sighs)
Caroline: Mm. Where were you and Marcus?
Thomas: (Sighs) I'll tell you later.
Caroline: He wasn't getting cold feet, was he?
Thomas: Oh, no. Nothing like that.
Caroline: Worse?
Thomas: (Sighs)
Stephanie: We were beginning to wonder about you.
Marcus: (Sighs) Dayzee. I mean, was she worried or anything?
Stephanie: No. I didn't let her go there.
Marcus: You know, Stephanie. She really loves you, like a mother.
Stephanie: Well, I love her. She's a terrific girl.
Marcus: Yes, she is. I just hope that I'm worthy.
Stephanie: Of course, you are.
Marcus: You know, I look at Dayzee and how she lives. She's never into herself and always helping, giving.
Stephanie: (Sighs) And now she's going to be your wife. She needs all your support, because her way isn't an easy way. But I suspect it's the only truly great way to live a life of any value. (Sighs) You recognize that everybody in the world is truly your brother and your sister. She made me understand that, you know. You're a lucky guy.
Minister: Excuse me, Marcus. We are ready to begin, if you are.
Stephanie: Well, I'd better get the bride.
Minister: Yeah. I'd better get ready.
Stephanie: Okay.
Thomas: How are you doing?
Marcus: How am I doing? I can't do this. I can't get married.
Thomas: What are you talking about?
Marcus: Anthony's in the hospital. He should be here.
Thomas: Hey, hey, hey, dude. Listen to me, all right? You are a good man. That's why Dayzee loves you.
Marcus: Yeah, but she has a right to know.
Thomas: Not today.
Marcus: When? When?
Thomas: After the wedding. Don't ruin this for her.
(Knock on door)
Stephanie: Dayzee?
Dayzee: Mm-hmm? (Chuckles)
Stephanie: You look beautiful.
Dayzee: Oh, thank you. Thomas did a good job, right?
Stephanie: Oh, Thomas made that gown absolutely beautiful, but the young woman inside it is even more beautiful.
Dayzee: Thank you. (Sighs) This day is incredible. It's literally like nothing I've ever experienced.
Stephanie: Oh, sweetheart. You deserve it and all the joy and happiness that comes with it.
Dayzee: (Sighs)
Stephanie: Well, shall we get this wedding going?
Dayzee: (Chuckles) Let's do it.
Stephanie: Come on.
(Wagner's "Bridal Chorus" from "Lohengrin" plays)
Minister: Dearly beloved, we are gathered her today to celebrate the union of two remarkable young people. Dayzee and Marcus have found each other. The road was not easy for either of them, but they persevered, and they touch our hearts like no one else ever will. We are here to celebrate their infinite love.
Caroline: Yes?
Lt. Baker: Lieutenant Baker, Charles Baker, LAPD.
Caroline: Um, there's a wedding going on. What's this about?
Lt. Baker: We are here to speak to Marcus.
Minister: And so we ask if anyone here has just cause why these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace.
