Liam: I mean, yeah, I... (Sighs) Hear what you're saying. If Hope has to find out what happened in Italy, then I prefer it be from me.

Steffy: It'll go down a lot easier than coming from Brooke. I have to say it-- where does Brooke get off being all sanctimonious? I mean, how many secret has she kept in her life? God. (Sighs)

Liam: How do you--

Steffy: Okay, I feel better, you know. Okay.

Liam: (Chuckles) Had to get it out, huh?

Steffy: Yeah, I did. It's just irritating.

Liam: (Scoffs)

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: (Sighs) You know what, though? The--the--the thing is, there would be no question about me coming clean to Hope. There would be no issue with me worrying about whether she's gonna understand or get past it if you and I didn't have this... connection, this history. It's a hot-button issue for Hope, understandably.

Steffy: Yeah. Brooke gave you an ultimatum. I think it's a big mistake, but Brooke’s not backing down.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: It's either you tell her or she will.

Liam: (Sighs)

Ridge: The line is called Hope's Perfect Wedding. We're launching it, uh, hard and fast, which is why we're gonna have the press conference and preview this afternoon.

Woman: Wow, that is fast.

Ridge: That is why we need to get you both down to the fitting.

Brooke: We need you.

Ridge: Go down to the showroom and see Madison. She'll instruct you from there.

Woman: Thanks, Ridge.

Ridge: Okay. So what's going on?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: Liam... (Sighs) And Steffy... (sighs) Were together in Italy.

Brooke: On Hope's wedding day.

(Indistinct conversation)

Woman: What's the concept behind Hope's Perfect Wedding?

Hope: Uh, well, it's exactly how it sounds. I mean, I was lucky enough to have one-- yes, I am married now-- and I just want other women to have the same experience.

Woman: Are you focusing strictly on bridal gowns?

Hope: Uh, well, today, we are previewing gowns and bridesmaids' dresses, but we offer attire for wedding guests, for flower girls, for mother of the bride. You are definitely in for a treat. How was that? Was that okay? Was that good?

Woman: Terrific. You hit all your bullet points.

Hope: Okay, good. Thanks. Hey, you two!

Thomas: Hey.

Dayzee: Hi! Wow, everything is coming together so quickly.

Thomas: Yeah, that's what happens when my family gets behind a project.

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Thomas: Everyone's really stoked.

Hope: Especially me. I finally got my life back. (Chuckles) Oh, hey, I heard you picked one of Thomas’s gowns.

Dayzee: Yeah. One look and I knew that, um, that dress was for me.

Dayzee: You know me very well.

Hope: That's because he's so charming, women just can't help but tell him their stories.

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Thomas: I've heard a few, none as intriguing as yours.

Dayzee: Stop. (Chuckles) I swear, this guy is gonna run into a wall if he doesn't stop texting.

Hope: (Laughs) Marcus...

Marcus: Hmm?

Hope: Whatever you do, do not look at any of the dresses backstage.

Marcus: Why can't I look at any of the dresses backstage? That's what I wanted to do. I want to see you.

Hope: No, because Dayzee’s gown is based on one of the designs for the collection.

Marcus: Really?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: So I take it that the meeting went well.

Dayzee: Yes, it did.

Marcus: Mwah. Mm-hmm.

Dayzee: Yeah. It's new. A lot of work is going into this if we ever set a date.

Marcus: Right. Yeah. (Chuckles) You know, actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about.

Hope: Should we leave?

Marcus: No. Nonsense.

Hope: Okay.

Marcus: I want the world to hear what I have to say to this beautiful fiancée of mine. I already spoke to my dad and Stephanie...

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: About, you know, using their place to have the wedding.

Dayzee: Really?

Marcus: Mm-hmm. All we have to do is just give them a date, and we're ready to go.

Dayzee: I'd love that.

Marcus: Yeah. Well, plan on it. All we have to do is just let them know when.

Dayzee: (Squeals)

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Hope: Aw. One more perfect wedding coming up.

Marcus: Mm.

Liam: This is so screwed up, you know? Hope should not have to know about this.

Steffy: I agree. It's the last thing I wanted.

Liam: I know. You made that clear. I mean it, Steffy. You have not done one thing wrong.

Steffy: (Scoffs) Can I get that in writing?

Liam: (Sighs) You could have been the end of Hope and me. You could have stopped our marriage.

Steffy: I can't say I wasn't tempted. If we're being honest...

Liam: Always.

Steffy: There's a part of me that wants Brooke to tell Hope everything.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: Then maybe we'd get another crack at the life we almost had. Everything that we said in the hotel room, I know you meant it.

Liam: I did.

Steffy: You thought Hope left you, and she didn't, and then you got married.

Liam: Yeah. And if she ever finds out what happened on our wedding day... (Scoffs)

Steffy: It's too late. It's too late. Hope will find out. Brooke is very determined. So it needs to be from you.

Dayzee: Okay, so this is happening. We're really getting married.

Marcus: Yeah--whoa. Did you have any doubt?

Dayzee: Yes. You have not been the most enthusiastic groom.

Marcus: Okay, I admit that. But thanks to my man here, he helped me see the light, put some perspective in my eyes.

Thomas: Just looking out for my buddy. No reason both of us should make the same mistake.

Hope: Aw, that's kind of sweet.

Marcus: Oh, well, I am not making that mistake and letting this one slip through my fingers. I cannot do that. No, no, no.

Dayzee: Oh, you stop. No!

Marcus: Mwah! Oh, no, you--don't you get embarrassed now.

Hope: (Laughs) Well, I think you two are gonna be so happy together. I mean, I feel like I can say from experience that marriage is amazing.

Thomas: You've been married for, like, a week.

Hope: I know. I know! But I feel--I feel different. Really, it--it changes you right away. As soon as you say those vows and commit yourself to each other-- I don't know-- you--you get this peace inside, like, nothing will ever come between you again.

Brooke: Steffy came into the room. Liam told her about the letter. It said, "I love you. I can't do this. Good-bye."

Taylor: And nobody knew it was from Deacon. Of course, Liam thought it was from Hope.

Brooke: At that moment, Bill called.

Ridge: Why did I know that his name was gonna crop up here eventually?

Brooke: Liam told him that Hope left him and that he was right about Hope all along and that he was there with Steffy. And... (Sighs) Then this look passed between the two of them that was so intimate, it was almost uncomfortable to watch. And Liam hung up the phone and said, "Come on. Let's get out of here."

Ridge: They were leaving Italy?

Taylor: Together.

Brooke: Meeting Bill at the airport. And Steffy asked Liam if he was sure, and he said yes, it was over with Hope and that he felt bad-- everything he put Steffy through. And then the wedding bells chimed on her phone.

Taylor: It was something that she set to, you know, remind herself that there would be a transition of Hope and Liam getting married.

Brooke: He turned off the tone, and then he told her that they weren't ending. They were just beginning. And then they hugged and... (Sighs) One thing led to the next, and then the battery died. We don't know what happened after that.

Ridge: If Liam is that much in love with Steffy, why would he go through marrying Hope like this?

Brooke: Steffy took advantage of a misunderstanding.

Ridge: From what you just said, Steffy walked into something it doesn't seem like of her own making. It seems like she reached out to comfort Liam. It doesn't exactly sound like she was promoting new beginnings.

Taylor: Precisely. Steffy has been nothing but grace under pressure here. She could have blown that whole wedding into the Adriatic Sea, but she didn't, and you shouldn't be talking about her like that.

Ridge: All right. All right. Here, look. I take it the two of you have a plan of action here.

Brooke: (Sighs) For once, Taylor and I agree.

Taylor: We think that Hope should be told.

Brooke: She cannot begin her marriage with a huge secret.

Taylor: And if Hope has trouble accepting it or dealing with it, then so be it. And Liam and Steffy can just pick up where they left off and go start their life back together.

Ridge: I don't know. (Inhales sharply) It feels pretty explosive to me. Hope and Liam are married now. They're happy. I don't see any reason to upset that.

Brooke: Ridge, one thing I've learned-- secrets always come out. Hope needs to know the truth now.

Ridge: I'm not so sure.

Brooke: I told Liam if he didn't tell her, I would.

Ridge: Okay, please, just hold off for now on this, okay? Let me go talk to Liam and see where his head's at, okay?

(Door closes)

Taylor: Good.

Steffy: So what's it gonna be? Will you tell Hope?

Liam: (Sighs) Not like I have a choice. God, I wish Brooke didn't see that damn video.

Steffy: Well, she did. (Sighs) And it's not like she's giving you much wiggle room.

Liam: It's only gonna hurt Hope. I don't want that. (Sighs)

Steffy: Well, there's no talking her out of it, Liam. You know Brooke. When she gets things in her head... (Sighs) Maybe it'll backfire. Or--not like I'm wishing it could. Maybe a-a little.

Liam: (Chuckles)

Steffy: It’s... (Scoffs) It's like you can read my mind.

Liam: (Laughs) How the hell did you fall into the Adriatic during my wedding?

Steffy: Oh. A comedy of the errors for me. But you already know the whole bit.

Liam: Yeah. Yeah.

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: Still kind of funny.

Steffy: I'm glad my day from hell amuses you.

Liam: You don't have to talk about it. I...

Steffy: No, it's-- it's fine. It was... a little bizarre and weird and funny, you know.

Liam: Well, at least you didn't get hurt.

Steffy: I don't know about that. It's the day I lost you. I just... I want the best for you. You know, I-I want you to be happy, you and Hope.

Liam: We are. She is. I... if I do this, though I-I don't know if anything will ever be the same.

Steffy: She's crazy about you. She has a big heart.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: You're all she ever wanted. And you guys had the most incredible wedding day. It's like it was meant to be. Remind her. She'll understand.

Liam: (Sighs)

Brooke: Odd, isn't it, being on the same side of an issue?

Taylor: We probably shouldn't get used to it.

Brooke: Probably not.

Taylor: You know, sometimes I wonder... if, uh... we could have ever been friends.

Brooke: You and I?

Taylor: You know, if we hadn't always been fighting over the same man. What do you think?

Brooke: No, I-I'm not gonna touch that. You first.

Taylor: I'm gonna say yes.

Brooke: I agree.

Taylor: (Sighs) You are... hands down... the most annoying person I have ever known...

Brooke: (Laughs)

Taylor: In my whole life, but you do have a good heart...

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: And you're loyal.

Brooke: Oh, that's a shame, isn't it? I mean, friends are hard to come by, but that's life... (Sighs) Some things lost, some things gained.

Taylor: Yeah, for you. You gained the guy. (Sighs) But I've accepted it.

Brooke: (Chuckles)

Taylor: You know, I let Ridge go to you, because there is one thing I know, and it is that man can only commit to one woman. And that's where Liam is right now. He's going to have to make a choice.

Brooke: He already has.

Taylor: Well... (Sighs) I know you don't want to hear this, but when Hope finds out that Liam was making plans with Steffy, she could very well walk away. And if she does, you know he's going to turn to Steffy. And if that happens, I'm just saying that... you'll need to find a way to let go yourself and also to find a way to accept it.

Liam: You know.

Ridge: Yes. Liam, I've got two daughters with their hearts on the line. I need to know where you stand.

Liam: Nothing's changed, Ridge. I'm married to Hope, and I plan on honoring that commitment.

Ridge: What about Steffy?

Liam: She understands. She supports my decision. She even encourages it, actually.

Ridge: Really?

Liam: Yeah. Well, neither of us want to hurt Hope.

Ridge: But if your heart is with someone else--

Liam: Steffy's a part of me. That's just how it is. But our time together... is over. And we both know that.

Ridge: Maybe. Liam, a game changer's about to come into play here. You might want to think about that.

Hope: (Sighs) Hey.

Steffy: Hey. Wow, a big preview.

Hope: Yeah. Yeah. Hope's Perfect Wedding. And that's exactly what it was, in large part, thanks to you.

Dayzee: My life seems so surreal right now.

Marcus: How do you mean?

Dayzee: I mean, look at it. I'm being accepted into this huge sprawling family, which I never thought I'd have. I run a business where I'm able to affect people's lives. And if those weren't blessings enough, I'm about to marry you.

Marcus: (Sighs) You're gonna be such a beautiful bride on our wedding day. I mean, you coming down that aisle with your hair all fancy...

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Marcus: And a dress designed by Thomas-- I can't wait. I can't wait.

Liam: You know, if I had never met Hope, I could spend the rest of my life with Steffy. I mean, she's amazing.

Ridge: Yes, she is.

Liam: She lights up room, you know. She walks through the door and you just can't tear your eyes away from her. And it's not-- it's not just that she's gorgeous. It's that she's--she's alive with--with intelligence and energy and fun. And then once you get to know her, she's that and more. (Chuckles)

Ridge: You seem like you've understood my daughter in a way that no man ever has.

Liam: But I did met Hope, and I'm married, and I made vows.

Ridge: Are you gonna tell Hope what happened between you and Steffy?

Liam: (Sighs) It doesn't seem as though I have a choice, do I? But you understand, right? I mean, I-- I really believed that Hope and I were through.

Ridge: Yeah, I do understand.

Liam: But...

Ridge: You're obviously still in love with Steffy.

Hope: (Sighs) You know, it may not have been a traditional perfect wedding, but as unconventional as it was, it was perfect for us, and--and that's something that I really want to get across in my message for the bridal line, you know? Don't get hung up on what you think your wedding is supposed to be. Just let it be what it is-- unique and individual for each bride and groom.

Steffy: Sounds good.

Hope: Hey, Steffy, I-I know I said it before, but really, I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me in Italy.

Steffy: Hope, wait. Oh, I just... you know, you are... a very vulnerable girl and innocent, and, you know, you've been hurt so much. I'm sorry I've been a part of that.

Hope: Hey, the past is behind us.

Steffy: Um, listen, I have to tell you something.

Hope: Okay. Uh, you know what? Can it wait, though? I've really gotta go. Can we talk about it after the preview?

Steffy: Uh, no, no, no, no. This is-- this is really important. There's something you have to know.
