(Knock on door)

Steffy: I had to see you.

Liam: Come in.

Steffy: When I saw Hope at the office today, I knew you hadn't told her yet.

Liam: Yeah, well, how am I supposed to do that, Steffy?

Steffy: (Sighs)

Liam: How do I tell Hope what happened between you and me in Italy?

Steffy: N-no, no, no, no, no. Don't. You can't.

Liam: Yeah, well, if I don't, Brooke will.

Steffy: (Sighs)

Taylor: I don't have to guess what this is about. (Sighs)

Brooke: Steffy told you.

Taylor: That you confronted her about the video that you got your hands on. Brooke, it was not Steffy's fault.

Brooke: She was kissing my daughter's husband the morning he got married. You don't find that reprehensible?

Taylor: Well, -I'm sure you know the story Liam thought that his relationship with Hope was over, a-and that she had left him at the altar.

Brooke: And Steffy was there to comfort him.

Taylor: Of course. Of course, she was. They're in love, Brooke.

Dayzee: (Laughs) And then there's old George.

Stephanie: How old is old George?

Dayzee: He's old.

Stephanie: (Chuckles) And how is George?

Dayzee: He's good. He's been clean three weeks.

Stephanie: How did that happen?

Dayzee: Um, you know, it turns out, he was really good at numbers, and so I just put him to work on the books, and he's like a whole different person. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: That's terrific.

Dayzee: I know. It's really cool. So what's up? What are we doing here?

Stephanie: Well, Marcus...

Dayzee: Oh.

Stephanie: The wedding date.

Dayzee: Look, it's only been a day.

Stephanie: Honey, that's a day too long. How can he not be rushing to the altar with a beautiful young girl like you?

Dayzee: Oh... (Scoffs) now you sound like your grandson.

Stephanie: (Chuckles) Good.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Eric: Oh, good, the principals are here.

Dayzee: Hello!

Eric: Hello. Okay.

Dayzee: Hi.

Ridge: How's the bride-to-be?

Dayzee: Oh, you know, still waitin' for a date.

Eric: Well, soon enough soon enough. But in the meantime, you have a choice to make.

Dayzee: I do?

Thomas: Ah, between one of these.

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Dayzee: Oh.

Eric: Here you are. (Chuckles)

Dayzee: Wedding gowns?

Ridge: From our new Hope's Perfect Wedding Collection.

Dayzee: (Chuckles) I-I didn't even know about that.

Thomas: Well, Hope for the Future got such a big lift from the wedding, we decided to capitalize.

Eric: Now we're gonna preview a few of the pieces in a few days.

Thomas: You're gonna be the first to walk the aisle in one of these babies.

Dayzee: Me? Really?

Stephanie: Well, unless you have something else in mind.

Dayzee: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. (Laughs)

Stephanie: (Laughs)

Dayzee: These are beautiful. I just--I can't believe it. (Sighs)

Marcus: Hey.

Dayzee: Oh.

Marcus: Hello.

Dayzee: Hi. Hi. What are you doing here?

Marcus: Well, I heard my fiancée's in the building, so I just wanted to come by to, um...

Dayzee: To--to--to what?

Marcus: To... do this.

Dayzee: Aw, thank you.

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Dayzee: But now you have to go because I'm choosing wedding gowns.

Marcus: Go where? Oh, you are?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: Can I see?

Dayzee: No!

Marcus: Okay, fine. Hi, Dad. Um, bye. Have fun.

Dayzee: Bye. Oh, I will.

Marcus: I bet you will.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Eric: Unfortunately, you cannot wear all three, so you're gonna have to make a choice.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Brooke: Steffy and Liam should not have been alone in that hotel room.

Taylor: Yes, I know, but Steffy did just happen to be there when Liam came looking for Hope. (Sighs) You know, this isn't shocking. This isn't news. Liam a-and Steffy are always going to share a very close emotional involvement.

Brooke: We'll see.

Taylor: We will.

Brooke: Yes, when Liam tells Hope exactly what happened before the wedding.

Steffy: I tried to get through to Brooke.

Liam: You talked to her?

Steffy: Yeah, she, um came by the office.

Liam: Oh, man, I'm so sorry. You two were making such progress.

Steffy: Ohh, she's, uh, very disappointed.

Liam: Yeah, I know, in both of us.

Steffy: Are you mad at me that I, um that I followed you back to the hotel room?

Liam: Mad at you? No, I-I had just read a letter that I thought meant Hope was leaving me, and that's what I believed and, trust me, if you weren't there, Steffy, I would have found you. I needed you.

Dayzee: These are all exquisite. (Stammers) Who designed these?

Ridge: Uh, Dad, Thomas, me.

Eric: The triumvirate.

Dayzee: (Chuckles) I just--I can't even imagine wearing one of these on my wedding day.

Stephanie: What are you talking about? You'll look beautiful in any one of the three.

Dayzee: Okay. That's what makes it so hard.

Stephanie: (Laughs)

Dayzee: This is it. This is the one. I-I don't know, I-I just feel like it was made for me.

Eric: (Clears throat)

Dayzee: What?

Eric: Thomas designed it.

Stephanie: Ohh! Well, then, of course, that's the one.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Eric: (Chuckles)

Dayzee: Oh, this is beautiful. Thank you, Thomas.

Thomas: Not a problem.

Ridge: Well, I guess you better get some measurements there, sonny boy.

Thomas: You're right. Hey you got some time right now?

Dayzee: Yeah, sure.

Thomas: Okay, let's go.

Dayzee: All right.

Thomas: Oh, sorry, guys. Second and third place-- that's not bad, right?

Eric: Yeah, yeah.

Ridge: Get out of here.

Dayzee: (Giggles)

Ridge: That's my boy.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Taylor: So Liam is going to tell Hope what happened in the hotel room before the wedding?

Brooke: That's right.

Taylor: And I'm sure you tried to convince him not to.

Brooke: No, I suggested it. I demanded it.

Taylor: Good. Good. I-I think it's something that he should do, too.

Brooke: Of course you do, because you think it would be the end of a very short marriage.

Taylor: Well, it will be good for Liam to finally resolve this once and for all.

Liam: I don't know what should do. Brooke is being so insistent.

Steffy: Tell her to stay out of it. Her little girl isn't hers anymore. She's your wife.

Liam: And can you imagine anyone saying that to Brooke Logan?

Steffy: Brooke shouldn't interfere in your marriage, period.

Liam: Yeah, well, what if she goes through on her threat and she tells Hope herself? Some of the guys at the office sent that.

Steffy: They sent the same flowers when we got married. I remember you saying that it made the house smell like a funeral home.

Liam: Yeah.

Liam: (Sighs) You shouldn't have to be dealing with this. It's not your problem.

Steffy: If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be having this problem. I just came in-- I came in at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Liam: No, you came in at the right place at the right time. Steffy, I-- I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't show when I read that letter.

Steffy: Well, you already trashed your tablet...

Liam: (Chuckles) Yeah.

Steffy: So I guess you could have started breaking the furniture. (Chuckles)

Liam: (Chuckles) You see that? You see what you did? You stopped from being an ugly American.

Steffy: I'm very glad I came by. But that's not why.

Brooke: Hope needs to know the truth. She will understand.

Taylor: Would you? If I told you that Ridge and I were involved the morning of your wedding?

Brooke: (Sighs) That is exactly my point. There are way too many similarities. That's why I want this to end before Hope and Liam begin their life together.

Taylor: Hmm.

Brooke: I'm going over there.

Taylor: I'll come with you.

Brooke: Oh... (laughs) I'd rather you didn't.

Taylor: No, my daughter's involved in this. I am going.

Brooke: (Sighs) Okay, whatever.

Steffy: I know you meant what you said... in the hotel room. If Hope hadn't come back, if she actually ended it, you and I would have been married right now.  But it wasn't meant to turn out that way. Hope showed up in her wedding gown, and you did the right thing.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: You had to marry her. Now all that matters is that your marriage survives, and you two are happy together.

Liam: Steffy, it may not survive if I have to tell he what went down between you and me before the wedding. I mean, Hope is strong but the... (Sighs) this may be asking too much.

Steffy: That's why you can't tell her. You have to get through to Brooke. You love Hope, Liam. I know you do.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: And I know that you have to fight for your marriage, okay?

Liam: I...

Steffy: You've come this far. But you wouldn't have if Hope weren't the person you actually wanted to be with.  But she is. You have to protect her. You have to protect your marriage.

Stephanie: (Sighs)

Marcus: Oh. Everyone gone.

Stephanie: Yes, they are, and they've taken the sketches with them, so you're safe. Come on in.

Marcus: Good, good. Did she pick one out?

Stephanie: Well, of course, she did-- Thomas' design.

Marcus: Cool, cool. Yeah, I mean, he knows her anyway, so... I was gonna ask him earlier, but I just didn't get a chance to.

Stephanie: Oh, really? Before or after you set the wedding date?

Marcus: Oh, okay, I guess I have been a little slow on that front. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Well, I understand. I mean, you've got a very busy life. And so--she certainly has a very busy life.

Marcus: Mm, yeah.

Stephanie: But don't you think setting a wedding date should also have a priority?

Marcus: Yeah.

(Cell phone vibrates)

Marcus: Yeah, I actually do. Um, and... (Laughs) Thomas was actually, um, talking to me about that. It's got me thinking, too. What would my life be like if I woke up and Dayzee wasn't there?

Stephanie: And what did you say to yourself?

Marcus: Let's just say... (Laughing) that I don't want to find that out.

Stephanie: (Chuckles)

Marcus: So... with that said, I give. I want to get married to Dayzee... right now.

Stephanie: Well, great. (Laughs)

Dayzee: Thanks again for the dress, Thomas.

Thomas: It's you, isn't it?

Dayzee: Yeah, it does seem as though you're reading my mind. It's exactly what I would have wanted.

Thomas: Elegant, refined, not too opulent, but... understated. It's who you are

Dayzee: You think so?

Thomas: (Chuckles) Oh, we weren't together long, Dayzee, but I did get to know you.

Dayzee: Yeah. Yeah. Well, thanks again for all the sweet stuff that you said to Marcus. I don't know when I'll be wearing this dress. (Laughs) One of these months, maybe.

Thomas: If I were Marcus, I'd marry you as fast as I could.

Stephanie: Congratulations!

Marcus: (Laughs) It's about time, right?

Stephanie: Yeah. (Laughs) You know, you're marrying a very unique young woman.

Marcus: Yeah, she is something special...

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: So much heart. You know, Stephanie, I can't tell you how much-- how much I love her, you know? And now with that said, there's a favor that I wanted to ask you. As you know, I've been looking for wedding places, and I was thinking that maybe--

Stephanie: Oh, you might want to get married at the house.

Marcus: Yes, that would be so tight if we could. Of course, if-- if that's all right with you and dad.

Stephanie: Honey, he's your father. He'd be thrilled to have you and do this wedding at the house. Just give us a date.

Marcus: Thank you. Really, Stephanie, appreciate it.

Stephanie: I'm very proud of you, Marcus. You're a wonderful young man. You know how much I love Dayzee.  Just relax you're going to have a wonderful, happy, happy marriage.

Marcus: You promise?

Stephanie: (Laughs) I guarantee it. (Laughing)

Steffy: I guess I made my pitch.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: So what are you gonna do, Mr. Married Man?

(Knock on door)

Brooke: Did you tell Hope yet?

Liam: No, not yet.

Brooke: Liam. (Sighs)

Liam: Uh... (Sighs)

Taylor: May we come in?

Brooke: What the hell are you doing here?

Steffy: I came to see Liam about this demand of yours.

Liam: Yeah, we both feel that she should not be told.

Brooke: She is going to be told. If you won't tell her, I will.

Steffy: This is so unnecessary. Everything that happened in Italy was based on misinformation.

Taylor: Well, that may be true, but it--it did happen.

Brooke: I'm not gonna tolerate my daughter being married to a man who has divided feelings. She deserves to know what happened in that hotel room.

Steffy: Liam had been rejected. He was left at the altar. The woman he loved was gone forever. And then we realized it was a huge mistake. So everything that happened between us, it was--it was meaningless.

Taylor: Is that really how you feel, Steffy? Is that the way both of you feel? That what you shared in the hotel room was meaningless?

Steffy: Brooke, you were at the wedding. You saw the love between Hope and Liam. Why do this to your daughter? Don't you see how damaging this could be for her?

Brooke: She needs to know the man that she's going to be spending the rest of her life with. And right now, she doesn't know Liam. I mean, I do believe that they love each other very deeply, and they will get past this, but Hope needs to know. There is no way around it.

Steffy: I'd like a minute alone with Liam.

Brooke: Absolutely not.

Liam: Get out, both of you, now!

Taylor: Okay, let's let them talk, okay? They'll talk some more.

Brooke: (Sighs) Fine. Fine. But I am not changing my mind. Hope needs to know the truth.

(Door closes)

Steffy: Hope's gonna find out.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: It's better if you tell her. Look, I...

Liam: (Sighs heavily)

Steffy: I just want you to be happy. That's all I ever wanted for you. I just wish it-- it could have been with me.

Liam: Why did you tell me to marry her?

Steffy: Because it was her wedding day. She was wearing her gown. She loves you. You intended to marry her, and I respected that. I didn't come after you. Look, Hope's gonna be-- she's gonna be hurt, and she's gonna be angry, but--but that's life. The ring is on her finger, and she's married to a wonderful, wonderful man. She just needs to focus on that, okay? How lucky she is. She'll understand, Liam.

Liam: Will she?
