Steffy: You're lucky I've grown. If you told me six months ago that you loved me, I would have held you to it.

Liam: Yeah, well, I don't say it lightly.

Steffy: I know.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: We've just been on such an emotional roller coaster for so long. We were married. Residual feelings are to be expected.

Liam: They're real, Steffy. They're real feelings.

Brooke: It's a little disorienting looking at these pictures through a shattered screen.

Hope: (Laughs) I know.

Brooke: How did that happen?

Hope: I don't know. I guess Liam's just a little careless.

Brooke: I don't know how he would get any work done with that.

Hope: I know. Oh, well, lately, we have been a little distracted. (Laughs)

Brooke: Oh. As newlyweds should be.

Hope: Oh, I love this one. I love that one.

Brooke: (Clicks tongue) Aw, Alberobello-- it's so magnificent.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Brooke: Uh-oh. What's happening?

Hope: Hmm. Oh. No, it's fine. We just need to unlock it.

Taylor: (Gasps) (Sighs) I am so glad you're here. I'm about to burst.

Ridge: What's going on?

Taylor: I just saw Liam and Steffy together, and he may be married to Hope, but he is still in love with our daughter. I'm telling you. And-and she feels the same way.

Ridge: Doc, that is not news.

Taylor: You would have to be blind not to see it. So what are we gonna do about it?

Dayzee: (Grunts) Gosh, I have always wanted to go to Italy.

Marcus: (Laughs) Why are you just saying that then? We could have hitched a ride.

Dayzee: (Laughs) Not!

Marcus: Why not? The Forresters are my family, too.

Dayzee: Yeah, but you can't just crash their weddings and barge onto their jets. I mean, besides, Hope and Liam said that they wanted the ceremony to be intimate.

Marcus: Yeah, and they totally got more than that. I heard everybody and their mama showed up to celebrate and witness it.

Dayzee: (Groans)

Marcus: (Sighs)

Dayzee: It must have been awesome.

Marcus: (Sighs) Well, yeah. I mean, I'm just glad it all went down finally.

Dayzee: Aw, you were really worried.

Marcus: Are you kidding? Babe, Bill Spencer, my pop, the word "sabotage" being thrown around?

Dayzee: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but obviously, nothing happened, so it's okay.

Marcus: Or-- or it didn't work. Look, anyway they're married now, so that's all that matters, right?

Dayzee: Yeah. Yeah.

Marcus: Oh, look who just showed up.

Thomas: That's what I heard, right?

Caroline: (Giggles)

Thomas: Play some "Horse"?

Dayzee: Oh, must be something in the air, huh?

Marcus: Nah. They're just trying to be like us.

Dayzee: Aw. (Chuckles)

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Hope: That's weird.

Brooke: What?

Hope: The little slide button isn't working. Huh. Maybe Liam damaged this more than he thought. Oh! (Laughs) There it goes.

Brooke: There it is.

Hope: There, I found it.

(Door opens)

Katie: Hello?

Hope: (Gasps)

Katie: E-excuse me, but I'm looking for a Mrs. Liam Spencer.

Hope: (Giggles) Here I am! (Laughs)

Katie: (Laughs)

Hope: Can you believe it? That's me.

Katie: Oh, my gosh. Oh, I am so happy for you. No one could be happier for you than me, expect maybe your mom.

Hope: Mm.

Katie: I so wish I could have been there.

Hope: Oh, it was amazing, Aunt Katie. I mean, it was everything I ever could have imagined and some things that I could not have.

Katie: Yes, I heard about Deacon showing up. But we will talk about that later. I have some news that I want to share and get out of the way.

Brooke: Some good news, from the look on your face.

Katie: Yes. Bill and I are having a boy.

Hope: Aah! Yay!

Brooke: That is fantastic.

Hope: Oh, my gosh. Liam's going to have a little brother.

Katie: Yeah.

Brooke: Bill must just be strutting around right now.

Katie: He's so excited.

Brooke: Wow I-I thought you were gonna wait to find out.

Katie: We were, but... (Sighs) Then we just couldn't resist.

Hope: And you have never looked more radiant, might I add.

Katie. Yeah. Hey, who can say that the Logan women don't lie, right?

Hope: (Laughs)

Brooke: That's right.

Katie: You just got married.

Hope: Oh.

Katie: And you're engaged again.

Brooke: (Laughs) I know.

Katie: And I'm having a baby.

Hope: Mm-hmm. Yeah. We're awesome.

Katie: We are.

Hope: (Laughs)

Katie: (Laughs)

Ridge: Promise me you're not gonna try and do anything about Steffy and Liam. He's married to Hope. It's over.

Taylor: You wouldn't be so sure if you had seen what I did or know what I know.

Ridge: Okay. So fill me in.

Taylor: Well, anyone who would see Steffy and Liam together would think that they were the newlyweds.

Ridge: Steffy and Liam were out in public together?

Taylor: No. No. They bumped into each other, literally. Steffy was at Dayzee's with me. We were getting some coffee. And she went up to get me a refill, and Liam came in the door and she didn't see him. Then she turned around, and she spazzed like I do, and coffee went everywhere. It went all over them. They were both really upset, and then when they looked in each other's eyes, they--Ridge, it was so powerful. (Scoffs) It's just so unfair. They are still in love with each other. And everybody expects Steffy to just let him go and--and watch him live his life with another woman knowing that he's still in love with her.

Ridge: Liam fully intends to honor his commitment to Hope. I know. I was there. I watched him do it. Taylor, you really need to get over this. You know, he meant every word of what he said. Steffy has gotten over it. You need to do it. There's nothing the two of you can do to change anything.

Steffy: This must be what bittersweet feels like.

Liam: (Chuckles)

Steffy: I know you love me. You made it very clear. I could never doubt it again.

Liam: Yeah, well... that'll never change.

Steffy: I feel the same.

Liam: But, you know, I-- life is about... the commitments we make and--and how we honor them.

Steffy: You don't have to explain it to me. I told you to marry Hope.

Liam: I know. (Scoffs) I know you did, and it was the most selfless thing I've ever seen.

Steffy: No, it would have been inconvenient if you hadn't. Everyone had flown to Italy. Hope was in her wedding gown.

Liam: Steffy, we both know what you did.

Steffy: That's what I mean-- bittersweet. I did an honorable thing. (Sighs) And now... you're Hope's husband... and not mine.

Thomas: Yep!

Dayzee: Yeah, I know. I'm having the best summer.

Caroline: Well, I see many more to come.

Dayzee: Thanks.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Dayzee: I intend to take what's good about the present moment and just enjoy it.

Caroline: That's a good lesson.

Dayzee: Yeah, so, um, tell me about you and Thomas, huh? You guys seem to be getting along really well.

Caroline: I really like him.

Dayzee: Oh! Well, I know for a fact that he really likes you, too.

Caroline: For a fact?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Caroline: Hmm.

Dayzee: Boys talk, too, girl.

Caroline: (Giggles)

Thomas: (Sighs) Caroline keeps me interested, you know?

Marcus: True, because you never really had an attention span. What?

Thomas: Well, that's all changed. Come on, I've never met a woman like her before. She's--uh, you peel away one layer, and there's three more underneath. She's smart, incredibly talented...

Marcus: And definitely not hard to look at.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Katie: Well I was very surprised to hear that Deacon showed up.

Hope: I'm sorry. My mom is not very pleased that he reached out to me.

Brooke: To put it mildly.

Katie: How do you feel about it?

Hope: Honestly, it was the best wedding present ever.

Katie: Well, what was it like? I mean, he's had no contact with you since you were a kid. And then suddenly he shows up in Italy on your wedding day, no less.

Hope: I know. I-I-I honestly thought I was hallucinating. And then all these words just started spilling out of me, and I called him "Dad," and... I felt all the love and all the need that I've been keeping inside. (Sighs) You know what? All those missing years didn't matter. It was just enough that he was there.

Brooke: First and last time, if I have anything to say about it.

Katie: I see your forgiving nature only goes so far.

Brooke: I don't want Hope anywhere near Deacon ever. Look, I... (Sighs) I thought you wanted to talk about the wedding.

Katie: I do. I do. Yes, please.

Hope: Okay. So the whole day was unbelievable.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: First my father shows up, you know, and I didn't want to rush things with him, so I was running late, and I was going to call everyone, but I couldn't find my phone. So I couldn't call them, and no one could get in touch with me.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Brooke: We're waiting at the chapel, and it was getting late. Hope wasn't showing up. We tried calling her. She wasn't answering her phone. So we got worried.

Hope: (Sighs) So -I left Deacon, and I ran out to go jump in the limo, but when I got outside, it was leaving. The limo was leaving without me, and I'm yelling at him. I'm waving my arms, like, "Hi, I'm right here! I'm the bride!" And he left. So luckily, this little, like, gardener truck showed up, so I hopped in the back of the truck, and he was going to take me all the way to the church, and we were so close. We were almost there. And then there was a road closure.

Katie: (Sighs)

Brooke: (Laughs) And then Liam went all the way back to the hotel to try to find out what was keeping Hope.

Hope: But nothing was going to stop me from getting to my wedding. So I got out, and I ran the rest of the way.

Katie: That must have been a sight.

Hope: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. By the time I got to the chapel, though, Liam was gone. He had already gone back to the suite, and he was reading a note that Deacon left me that Liam thought was for him. Uh, and he thought I couldn't go through with the wedding.

Brooke: (Sighs) Liam was devastated.

Katie: Deacon left you a note?

Hope: Yeah. It basically said, you know, "I-I love you, but I can't do this. I'm sorry. Good-bye." (Sighs) Luckily, I got back to the suite in time to, you know sort everything out with Liam, and at that point, we just wanted to get married as soon as possible.

Katie: (Chuckles)

Brooke: They ended up in Polignano a Mare.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Katie: Mm

Hope: Which is where Mom originally wanted us to get married. (Laughs) It was amazing. We were cheered on. We were serenaded by the entire village.

Katie: Oh!

Brooke: They sang "Volare."

Katie: Oh!

Hope: Mm-hmm. It was a wild roller coaster of a day, but I would not have changed any of it.

Steffy: You seem to be a magnet for wild, wacky weddings...

Liam: (Chuckles)

Steffy: In scenic locations with mountains involved.

Liam: (Laughs)

Steffy: What's up with that?

Liam: I have no idea. (Laughs)

Steffy: When you think of everything that went wrong, it's kind of a miracle that you and Hope managed to pull it off.

Liam: I know. I know. Deacon showing up, Hope being late, ape trucks, road blocks, letters from somebody else...

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: You.

Steffy: Us.

Caroline: Have you two been together long?

Dayzee: Um, about a year or so.

Marcus: Well, give or take. I mean, we've been through a couple bumps along the way including your boy right there.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Caroline: Ah, you're full of surprises. You and Dayzee, huh?

Marcus: Hey, hey, hey. Let's just say that I was in Europe during that time.

Dayzee: Oh.

Marcus: Trust me, if I was here, that little romance thing would have never happened.

Caroline: (Laughs)

Dayzee: You had your hands full when you got back with Amber.

Marcus: You're bringing that up now?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: O-o-okay, fine, yes. We had a couple of challenges here and there, but, hey, look how everything turned out, all right? Everyone ended up with the right person, mm?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: Mwah.

Caroline: So when's the wedding?

Marcus: Well, I haven't set a date yet.

Thomas: What are you waiting for?

Dayzee: Marcus has been "busy." He hasn't been able to pencil me in just yet.

Marcus: What does that mean, "busy"? Uh, just I'm climbing up the ladder, okay? It takes focus.

Dayzee: Uh-huh. I'm starting to think someone's getting cold feet.

Marcus: I am not getting-- girl, now you know I love you. You know I'm gonna marry you.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Marcus: Huh? Mm-hmm.

Thomas: You want my advice? Look, you got a great girl on your hands, but if you continue dragging your heels, she's gonna slip away.

Dayzee: Aw, Thomas, thanks, that was so nice.

Thomas: It's the truth. I should know.

Ridge: Why is it so hard for you to let go of the idea of Steffy and Liam?

Taylor: Maybe what it is... was a mistake.

Ridge: According to the experts, there's a 50/50 chance it was. But that's for Liam and Hope to discover on their own. Meanwhile, Steffy has said repeatedly and emphatically that she wants to move on. And as her parents, we need to support that, Doc. We need to encourage Steffy to go on new directions and let those kids live the lives they've chosen.

Taylor: What if those lives were chosen for them?

Hope: I told Liam that I would not have changed a thing about our wedding day, but I don't think he agreed with me.

Brooke: (Laughs) Can you blame him?

Hope: No, I don't blame him. I mean, he thought I blew him off again.

Katie: Well, he shouldn't have thought that, I mean, especially not in a letter. Come on.

Hope: Well, why--why not? I've--I've done it before, remember? And I'm not exactly the model of emotional stability. These past few months have been really hard and confusing for him. I-I-I totally get why he freaked out.

Katie: Well, when you put it that way... (Sighs)

Brooke: I'm just glad you got to Liam in time.

Hope: Mm-hmm. It just goes to show whatever's meant to be will be.

Brooke: Mm-hmm.

Hope: And you should know-- and I want you to pass this along-- Bill was one of the best parts of my wedding day.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Katie: Really?

Hope: Yes.

Brooke: Whoever thought Hope would say that, right?

Katie: (Laughs)

Hope: I know, I know, but I really mean it, Aunt Katie. He was so great. He was sincere and humble.

Brooke: It was touching. I saw a side of Bill that I never knew existed. Now I sort of see why you fell in love with him.

Katie: Yay! Thank you. Finally.

Brooke: Said "Sort of."

Hope: (Laughs)

Katie: (Laughs)

Hope: I can hardly believe it. I'm a married woman about to move in with my husband. (Giggles) We finally made it. (Laughs)

Brooke: (Laughs)

Steffy: We were almost out of there, headed for Bill's jet and whatever came next. If we just left five minutes earlier... I could see Hope from the bathroom. The door wasn't fully closed. It took every ounce of strength not to rip open that door and to tell Hope that you committed to a life with me.

Liam: Why didn't you?

Steffy: I couldn't do it. I-I saw your eyes. I-I saw the way you looked at Hope. And I knew I had to let you go.

Katie: Well, follow me out to the car. I've got a little present for you out in the trunk.

Hope: Okay. Aw! You didn't have to do that.

Katie: Of course, I did.

Hope: Aw.

Katie: And hopefully, we'll be looking forward to another wedding very soon...

Brooke: Oh, yes.

Katie: This time, closer to home.

Brooke: Oh, right. Yes, we--we will.

Steffy: You need to know something. I told my mom.

Liam: Which part?

Steffy: All of it. No, don't--don't worry.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: Confidentiality is sacred to my mom. She promised me to treat me like a patient, not like her daughter, so she won't tell anyone. (Sighs)

Liam: What did she say?

Steffy: That I-I shouldn't hold back the truth...

Liam: Okay.

Steffy: About what happened.

Liam: (Sighs) (Chuckles)

Steffy: Liam, no, no, no, no. No, don't--don't worry, okay? I wouldn't do that to you. It's between you and me, Liam. No one will ever find out.
