Steffy: What went wrong?

Liam: I don't know.

Steffy: Liam, what did Hope say?

Liam: (Sniffles)

Steffy: "I love you, but I can't do this. I'm sorry. Good-bye"?

Liam: "I can't do this. Good-bye."

Hope: I was with my father.

Brooke: Deacon?

Hope: Yes. He--he just wanted to talk to me, you know? He knew about the wedding.

Brooke: So what does he want, money? Is he in some kind of trouble?

Hope: What? No! No. Mom, he's not like that. (Sighs)

Brooke: Yes, he is, honey. You don't know him. You don't know anything about him.

Hope: No, I don't, but I want to. And now I can. I asked him to walk me down the aisle today.

Brooke: What? Sweetheart, no. No.

Hope: No, he said no. He said no because he didn't want to upset you.

Ridge: All right, look, we can talk about this later. Right now we have to find Liam, okay?

Hope: Yes. (Sighs)

Liam: So that's it, you know? Hope's gone. (Scoffs)

Steffy: I should--I just-- I don't get it.

Liam: Everything my dad said, every--everything he said... (Sighs)

Steffy: Hey.

Liam: I... I just--I can't believe it. (Sniffles)

(China rattles)

Taylor: No. No. No more for me. I'm gonna float out of here. Maybe you need to go on to bed. I'm sure Eric's wondering where you are.

Stephanie: (Scoffs) Eric--he's unconscious by now. Why do you think you haven't heard from Ridge or Steffy?

Taylor: (Sighs) But I doubt I will now anyway. They probably figure I'm asleep.

Stephanie: Well, let's call her.

Taylor: In the middle of the ceremony?

Stephanie: Uh-huh.

Taylor: No. I don't--no, she'll call me if she needs me.

Stephanie: If she needs you? What are you talking about? She's standing there watching the man she's in love with marry another woman. Of course she needs you.

Taylor: (Sighs) I wish she hadn't gone.

Stephanie: Oh, well, that goes without saying. So do I.

Taylor: But there is a part of me that's very proud of her for demonstrating such humility and grace, standing up for--for Hope like that.

Stephanie: Really? I think it's so foolish-- heartfelt, but foolish. And I think it was wrong of Hope to ask her to do it.

Taylor: Well, I think they all just want closure. Liam's time with Steffy is over. He is marrying Hope today.

Hope: Okay, when did he leave?

Ridge: He's probably back at the hotel by now. He tried to call you.

Hope: Oh, oh, I can't find my phone. Will one of you give me a ride?

Bill: No. Let's just stay put.

(Cell phone rings)

Liam: (Sighs)

(Ring)

(Ring)

Steffy: Hope?

Liam: Dad.

Bill: Where are you?

Liam: I'm at the hotel. Um... Hope's not here. She, um... she's gone, Dad. She walked out on me.

Bill: Are you alone?

Liam: No, I'm with Steffy.

Bill: Good.

Liam: You were right, Dad. You... (Sniffles) You warned me.

Bill: Grab Steffy, get in the car, and go. Meet me at the plane. We're leaving.

Liam: Okay.  Let's get out of here.

Taylor: Okay. No, I'll text you when I get up, okay? All right, good night.

Stephanie: Was that Tom?

Taylor: Isn't that funny how everything goes in reverse? He's checking to see why his mother is out so late...

Stephanie: (Chuckles)

Taylor: And to let me know Steffy hadn't called.

Stephanie: Well, had he expected to hear from her?

Taylor: No, he didn't. To tell you the truth, I didn't, either.

Stephanie: (Sighs)

Taylor: Although, I would have... (Chuckles) I would definitely feel better if she had called. (Sighs) Maybe this is for the best.

Stephanie: You honestly believe that?

Taylor: I know this pattern, Stephanie. (Sighs) Clinging to a wish, uh, you know, it's-- it's an endless cycle, wondering what you could have done differently, what you can do to get him back. How many years did I wait for Ridge to come back to me? Maybe this is what she needs-- to actually witness the two of the committing their lives to each other. Maybe then she can let go of this dream with Liam.

Hope: This is crazy. Liam and I should be married right now. Okay, I-I-I have to at least talk to him. Uh, can I borrow your phone?

Brooke: Uh...

Bill: You won't be able to reach him. I have his cell phone. He asked me to hold it for him during the ceremony.

Hope: Oh--okay, that's okay. I'll just call the hotel.

Ridge: If he's even still there.

Hope: (Groans) Well, I can't just sit around and wait for him to come back, okay?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: Uh, Bill, just tell Father Fontana that we will be right back, okay? Let's go.

Bill: I'll stay here in case Liam shows up.

Brooke: Okay.

Steffy: You're leaving without talking to Hope?

Liam: I have no idea where she is. I mean, she's the one who can't marry me, remember?

Steffy: Was she acting weird or anything?

Liam: Oh, she was... I mean, she was nervous. We were--we were joking... (Chuckles) a-about her standing me up... at least I thought it was a joke.

Steffy: Liam, maybe--maybe she took another pill. Maybe she had a panic attack.

Liam: Who knows? (Sighs) I mean, I hope not.

Steffy: Something must have happened.

Liam: She walked out on me, that's what happened.  I can't believe this.

Steffy: (Sighs) Liam, I am so sorry.

Liam: (Scoffs) How did I... (Chuckles) how did I not see this coming?

Steffy: Hey, no one did.

Liam: My father did. (Scoffs) He was right. I should have listened to him. You know, all this time... he was right.

Liam:  So my dad's on his way to the airport and wants us to meet him.

Steffy: Nobody can blame you for leaving.

Liam: Steffy? Come with me.

Steffy: (Sighs) (Chuckles) Are you sure?

Liam: Yes. I'm done.

Steffy: No. No. You know, you're upset right now.

Liam: No. No. I'm not upset. I can't do this anymore-- the lying and the pills and the moving in and the moving out. I'm exhausted. She's got problems I can't fix, and I... I hope she--she gets better. I-I do. But my God, what I've done to you.

Steffy: (Sighs) You see me complaining?

Liam: (Sighs)

(Church bells ringing)

Steffy: (Sighs) (Sniffles) (Chuckles) Wedding bells.

(Ringing continues)

Steffy: (Sniffles) (Sniffles) I thought, um...

(Ringing continues)

Steffy: This is when you would be married to Hope, and it would be over for us.

(Ringing continues)

(Ringing stops)

Liam: It's not over, Steffy.

Steffy: (Sniffles)

Liam: It's just beginning.

Hope: Faster. Accelerate, per favore. I have to get back to the hotel.

Taylor: Look, I wanted to believe that Steffy and Liam belonged together, but clearly, that would have not worked out.

Stephanie: (Inhales sharply) You know what's so upsetting to me about all of this? Hope is allowed all the insecurity and anxiety that she wants or needs, and Steffy--absolutely not.

Taylor: Well, they've both made a lot of poor choices based on strong emotions.

Stephanie: Yes, but the Logan girls are always forgiven for everything.

Taylor: Oh, well.

Stephanie: I just wish you and your kids could have come out on top this time.

Taylor: Well, so do I, but that isn't gonna happen right now. I'm sure Liam and Hope are already married.

Hope: Okay. (Grunting)

Brooke: Honey, wait.

Hope: No, I gotta find Liam! I gotta go get him!

Brooke: Hope, wait! (Sighs)

Bill: (Sighs)

Man: Mr. Spencer.

Bill: My son's on his way. He'll have someone with him.

Man: So I should list three passengers on the manifest?

Bill: No, just two. I won't be joining them. I have some business to finish here.

Hope: Oh! Liam, it's me. Open up! (Breathing heavily) (Sighs) Liam? Are you there?

(Flashback 1)

Hope: I want my dad to walk me down the aisle. I mean, my real dad... Deacon.

Brooke: What? No. No. He's out of your life.

Hope: Because of you, right?

(Flashback 2)

Deacon: I have never felt this way about a woman in my life. And I don't think I ever will.

(Flashback 3)

Brooke: God help me, I do love you, Deacon.

(Flashback 4)

Deacon: This baby's a blessing. Please tell me that you're not gonna try and deny this baby a father.

(Flashback 5)

Brooke: Deacon, that part of my life is over. I'm different now. My life is different. I have different priorities. My number one concern right now is Hope.

(Flashback 6)

Brooke:  You listen to me. I am not going to be blackmailed or threatened by anybody, especially you. Now if you really care about me, Deacon, you would do what I want, right now. I want you to leave.

(Door opens)

Ridge: (Sighs) We should check with Francesco and make sure that Deacon's not staying at this hotel.

Brooke: He wouldn't dare.

Ridge: Well, he was able to find Hope on her wedding day, wasn't he?

Brooke: She asked him to walk him down the aisle, and now she wants to get to know him. I mean, this is a-a nightmare.

Ridge: Or... (Sighs) a very well-orchestrated plan. Deacon hasn't seen Hope since she was a child. Now out of the blue, he appears just in time to disrupt their wedding? I have to wonder if Bill had something to do with this.

Bill: This is important. Liam and Steffy have a lot of catching up to do. Once you get airborne, I want them to have total privacy.

Man: They'll have plenty of it. It's a long trip to L.A.

Bill: Not L.A. You have to change the flight plan to Borum, Turkey. I have a gulet waiting for them. Liam and Steffy will be completely incommunicado for a good week.

Hope: Liam? (Sighs) (Gasps) Oh! Oh, you're here. Oh, my gosh. I didn't miss you. (Sighs)

Liam: You came back.

Hope: Yeah. U, Liam, I was at the church, and--but I couldn't stay there. I-I-I had to come.

Liam: You were at the church?

Hope: Yes. O-o-okay, I-I literally got there right after you left. My mom told me how worried you were, that you--you tried to call me a bunch of times.

Liam: Yeah, I did, a bunch of times.

Hope: Well, I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But listen, you-- you will not believe what I went through.

Liam: I'm sorry. What are you--what are you-- what is this? What are you doing? Why are you wearing that?

Hope: My... my wedding gown? (Giggles) Because it's my wedding day.

Liam: Hope, there is no wedding. I was at the church, and I waited for you, and I waited for you, and I thought maybe something was wrong, and like an idiot, I came all the way back here, and you're just gonna pretend like nothing ever happened. Really?

Hope: I'm--I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, but--but, Liam, you will not believe--

Liam: Yeah, I believe it. You stood me up, Hope.

Hope: What?

Liam: You walked out on me on our wedding day.

Hope: Whoa, what? What--what--what--Liam, what are you talking about? No, I didn't.

Liam: What am I talking about? "I love you, but I can't do this. I'm sorry. Good-bye." That's fine. That's--you know what? You gotta go? You gotta go. Do whatever you want to do, but I'm done. I am so over this, and there's nothing you can say--

Hope: Whoa, Liam, Liam, I did not write this. Liam, I didn't write this. This is not for you. It's for me. (Sighs)

Liam: What?

Hope: It's from my dad. Liam, he was here. He was here. He came to see me on my wedding day.

Liam: Your--your dad?

Hope: Yes. That's why I was late. I was all ready to go, and then there was a knock at the door, and I thought it was the limo driver, but when I opened it--

Liam: Deacon?

Hope: Yeah. (Sighs) Oh, Liam, I-I did not stand you up at the altar. I did not walk away from you. I would never do that. (Sighs) Oh, my God. You poor thing, thinking that I-I totally walked out on you and--and left you all alone. (Sighs) Oh, Liam, this is our wedding day. We are getting married. Nothing has changed.
