Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: Today feel especially long to you, too?

Hope: (Laughs) Yes, definitely.

Liam: (Sighs)

Hope: Mm.

Liam: Maybe it's because we couldn't wait to get home...

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: And do something like... this.

Hope: (Chuckles) Oh, you know, when the day starts and ends with that, the rest is just filler.

Liam: Mm-hmm.

Hope: (Laughs) Oh, my God. My feet are killing me. (Laughs)

Liam: Yeah?

Hope: These are evil...

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: However, handy. Had the woman at the coffee house gotten physical, I could have used them as a weapon.

Liam: Mm.

Hope: (Laughs)

Liam: That was so uncool, by the way. I mean, just...

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: She showed up out of nowhere and... (Sighs)

Hope: I've never seen anyone so disappointed in me before.

Liam: Yeah. I can't help feeling responsible. I shouldn't have kissed you like that in public. It was so stupid.

Hope: Look, Liam, no. No, no, no. Marcus had just proposed to Dayzee right there in the coffee house.

Liam: Uh...

Hope: It was so sweet. Of course, we got swept away in it.

Liam: I know. I know. But I should have been more careful.

Hope: In public, yeah, yeah. But, um... when we're here... (Inhales sharply) In our own home... we can do whatever we want.

Woman 1: It's beautiful, but not very comfortable.

Ridge: Couture rarely is. Here, turn around here. Just what I thought. The seam is off by 1 centimeter.

Woman 2: How can you tell?

Stephanie: He has a gifted eye.

Ridge: Thank you, girls. That's all.

Stephanie: Bye, ladies. I was hoping Brooke would be here with you.

Ridge: (Chuckles) That's a first.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: Really? Why, are you afraid she's gonna go overboard planning your, uh, anniversary party?

Stephanie: I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't. But, look, your father and I have done so many of those, it doesn't really count anymore. I really don't want you making a big fuss, okay?

Ridge: Oh, come on, Mother, this is a big one. This is monumental. You and dad have been through so much the last how many years, and you just remarried. Come on, kick up your heels and celebrate a bit.

Stephanie: (Groans) All right, but Brooke can't cook anything.

Ridge: Brooke is a woman of many talents. Unfortunately, one of them is not with an oven.

Stephanie:  Yes.

Tony: I've never seen you wear gloves to do dishes before ever.

Dayzee: (Laughs) That is because I have never had this beautiful thing to worry about.

Leilani: And it is gorgeous.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Marcus: Well, thank you very much.

Tony: You're one lucky guy.

Marcus: Yeah, don't I know it?

Leilani: I'm so happy for you.

Dayzee: Oh, thank you.

Tony: Congratulations, man.

Marcus: Thank you, bro.

Tony: All right.

Dayzee: All right, I love you two. I'll see you tomorrow.

Marcus: Night, guys, Leilani.

Anthony: Marcus, I want you to know that this lady is very special to me.

Marcus: Don't I know it?

Anthony: You do right by her, okay?

Marcus: You got my word. I will.

Dayzee: Thank you.

Anthony: Oh, you are so welcome. You just make sure that I get a chance to sing at that wedding, okay?

Dayzee: Oh, we'd be honored.

Anthony: Listen, why don't you two get out of here and go have some fun, celebrate?

Dayzee: Okay.

Marcus: Okay.

Anthony: Oh, and, uh, make sure you get some real bubbly.

Marcus: All right, but I like the apple cid--no?

Dayzee: Stop.

Marcus: Mwah!

Dayzee: (Giggles) It's all gone.

Marcus: We are so lucky to have the love and support of our friends.

Dayzee: Yeah. Wow. Married to you.

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Dayzee: What an adventure that's gonna be.

Marcus: Yeah, you're damn right.

Dayzee: (Laughs) I love you.

Marcus: I love you, too.

Dayzee: I know.

Marcus: Mm.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Stephanie: Well, Marcus, uh, proposed to Dayzee.

Ridge: Really? Marcus popped the big question?

Stephanie: Yes, a little while ago at the, uh, at the coffee house.

Ridge: Good for them.

Stephanie: I know. I think they'll make a nice couple. Um, he had actually invited, uh, Liam and Hope to join them. You can imagine it was a pretty, uh, romantic situation. Uh, Hope got carried away. She kissed Liam.

Ridge: In public?

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: This is not good.

Stephanie: No, it gets worse.

Brooke: What happened?

Stephanie: Uh... (Clears throat) a woman accosted your daughter, uh, verbally. She called her an adulteress, said she was a fraud and a hypocrite. It got pretty ugly.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Liam: Wow, did that woman say horrible things to you.

Hope: (Chuckles) I, uh... I can't really blame her for being upset. I'm not the person they thought I was.

Liam: See, stop saying that. That is not true.

Hope: Well, it kind of is true, Liam. I kissed a married man in public tonight. And little do they know, I'm living with him.

Liam: (Sighs) Look, I don't want us being together to mess you up, and I--and I know how important Hope to the Future is to you.

Hope: I just wish that I hadn't disappointed that girl and her mom. But... I have to live my life.

Liam: Wow, you are taking this well. You are taking this really well.

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: I mean, I kind-- I kind of thought you would just flip out.

Hope: Well, I did, at--at first.

Hope: (Breathing heavily) (Sighs) (breathing heavily) But, um... I got over it.

Marcus: Yep, I'm pretty impressed with myself.

Dayzee: (Giggles)

Marcus: I couldn't believe I managed to surprise you.

Dayzee: Yeah, good job. Not bad.

Marcus: Well, you know, I thought about taking you to Catalina, you know, somewhere more exotic and fun to propose.

Dayzee: No, no, no, no, no.

Marcus: No?

Dayzee: This place was perfect. I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else.

Marcus: Mm.

Dayzee: And plus it was great having all of our friends who care about us, Anthony and--

Marcus: And Liam and Hope.

Dayzee: Oh, my gosh. I feel terrible the way that woman went off on her.

Marcus: Yeah. (Sighs) I mean, she took such a strong stand, and now she's coming from a different place.

Dayzee: But I mean, it's not her fault. (Scoffs) Steffy's basically holding them hostage.

Marcus: Yeah, but part of me can understand why that girl and her mother felt betrayed.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Brooke: I feel awful for Hope.

Ridge: This is exactly what I've been afraid of.

Stephanie: Yeah, well, it was bound to happen.

Brooke: Nobody deserves an attack like this by a total stranger.

Stephanie: Well, she's in the public eye. That automatically opens one up to--to scrutiny, doesn't it? Besides, she's living with Steffy's husband. Steffy's the real victim here.

Brooke: Oh, please. I'm calling Hope now, make sure she's okay. (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings)

Liam: Is that you or me?

Hope: Mm, it's me. (Ring)

Hope: (Sighs) Oh, it's my mom. (Ring)

Liam: Oh.

Hope: Hey, Mom.

Brooke: Hi, honey. You didn't answer my text.

Hope: Oh, sorry. Uh, I guess I just wasn't paying attention.

Brooke: Well, Stephanie just told me what happened. (Sighs) That must have been a horrible experience for you.

Hope: Yeah, it felt pretty awful, but I mean, there's nothing I can do about it now.

Brooke: Well, so you're holding up okay?

Hope: There are gonna be people who are gonna hate me, and I just have to accept that. And Liam has been very sweet and supportive, and right now we're just here at home trying to focus on us.

Brooke: Well, good. I'm glad to hear you're not letting this lady get to you.

Stephanie: (Whispers) Let me speak to her. May--may I?

Brooke: (Whispers) Okay.

Stephanie: (Normal voice) Uh, hi, honey, it's me.

Hope: Hey, Stephanie.

Stephanie: Everything okay?

Hope: Yeah.

Stephanie: Well, I-I-I saw how upset you were, um, you know, when that woman lashed out at you.

Hope: Look, I don't like what she said, and I don't think it's fair, but I'm--I'm not going to let people like her ruin my life.

Stephanie: You sure everything's all right?

Hope: (Laughs) Yes. Yes, I'm--I'm fine, I promise. I'm fine. All right, I'm here with Liam. We're fine. We're just at home. You don't need to worry about me, okay? But thank you for calling. Bye.

Dayzee: I wish everyone was as happy as we are.

Marcus: And that would be nice.

Dayzee: Mm-hmm. Like Liam and Hope. I know Liam loves her.

Marcus: (Sighs)

Dayzee: Just the way that he looks at her. But I guess Steffy's banking on him changing his mind and wanting her back.

Marcus: Well, between you and me, I really don't see Liam and Hope making it down the long haul.

Dayzee: What? Why not?

Marcus: Because Liam and Steffy are still close, and I know for a fact that she loves the heck out of that guy.

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Marcus: I really don't blame her for not wanting to annul her marriage. Act like it never happened? That's like saying Liam never loved Steffy.

Dayzee: (Sighs) Yeah, I guess you're right. I never thought of it that way.

Marcus: Mm-hmm. Look, enough about talking about other people's endings. Let's talk about our beginning.

Dayzee: Okay.

Marcus: And that beautiful little rock on your hand.

Dayzee: (Scoffs) Little? (Laughs)

Marcus: You know, Rosey helped me pick it out, right?

Dayzee: Aw.

Marcus: Mm-hmm. I had a few other choices lined up, but she pointed at this one, so I knew I had to get it.

Dayzee: I like that, the idea that she helped pick it out.

Marcus: Well, you are getting both of us packaged deal, baby.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Marcus: Me and my baby girl.

Dayzee: I know. She is half the reason I'm marrying you.

Marcus: You know, she does love you, too, right? You know that?

Dayzee:  Mm hm.

Marcus:  And you are gonna be a great step-mom.  And one day we’ll have some little ones of our own.

Dayzee: (Sighs) I am so happy. I mean, I finally have the family I always wanted.

Marcus: Me, too.

Ridge: So Hope is okay?

Brooke: She sounded good. Don't you think so, Stephanie?

Stephanie: Well, yeah. She sounded calm, cool, and collected. It seems a little strange to me.

Brooke: Why?

Stephanie: Well, that woman was so abusive to her. She said terrible things. Your daughter was really upset. I thought for a minute she was going to have a panic attack, and now she's, you know, fine.

Brooke: Why should she let that woman get the better of her?

Stephanie: Because it only happened about an hour ago, and now she's just hunky-dory.

Ridge: Yeah, well, apparently, she is.

Stephanie: I think you'd better keep an eye on her.

Liam: So was that calm attitude just for your mom and Stephanie's benefit or, uh...

Hope: No. No, I meant every word.

Liam: So you're really not freaked out? Because I-I mean, I-I really worried that something like this would happen, and it would affect you.

Hope: Oh, look, for the first time, you're worried more than I am. (Laughs)

Liam: No, no. I'm--that--I'm just saying that woman had no right to say those things to you.

Hope: (Sighs) Well, she basically bit my head off, but you defended me. Thank you.

Liam: Not really. I mean, I tried, but--

Hope: No, you did. Are you kidding? It was so sweet.

Liam: (Scoffs)

Hope: Uh...

Liam: Hey, whoa. You okay?

Hope: Yeah. Y-yeah. That was weird. I just got really light-headed for a second. Sorry.

Liam: Well, no, hey...

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: If you're having a day, you're entitled.

Hope: Oh, you know what? Let's not talk about it.

Liam: Okay.

Hope: Okay.

Liam: Okay. I'm glad you're hanging in there.

Hope: I'm just--I'm not gonna let people like her ruin what we have.

Liam: Good.

Hope: I love being here. And you know what the best part is?

Liam: Um, listening to me snore?

Hope: That and...

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: The fact that I don't ever have to leave ever if I wanted to, because I live here.

Liam: That's true. You do.

Hope: I live here...

Liam: And your makeup junk all over my bathroom counter is proof.

Hope: With you!

Liam: Yes.

Hope: The man of my dreams, my husband-to-be, the most gorgeous man in the world.

Liam: Okay, now I'm really concerned. Are you sure you're okay? Really?

Hope: (Giggles) Yeah, I'm fine. I'm great, actually, because of you. Seriously, you know, I-I-I feel like I've been a good person. I feel like I lived my life in a really positive way, and I'm--I'm glad that people look up to me. And I know that I have responsibilities to them, but I also have responsibilities to myself, to my own happiness, to us. There is nothing wrong or shameful about us being together. Liam, I love you so much, and being with you is right. And living together, moving in together is right. Let's just forget about today, all right? Let's--let's forget about the whole world and just be in love.

Liam: Okay.

Hope: Okay.

Brooke: I'm really proud of the maturity that Hope had handling this situation. I think all the love and support that she gets from Liam has boost her confidence and helped her deal with issues like this.

Ridge: I'm glad she's not still upset, but she has to understand this doesn't just affect her and our family. It also very much affects the company.

Stephanie: (Laughs) I always thought we went too far on that Hope for the Future P.R. campaign. I knew it was a mistake then, and it's going to come back to haunt us.

Brooke: Hope was verbally assaulted this evening, and she had the strength to rise above it. I'm really proud of her, and I'm not gonna sit around worrying about what may or may not happen next. And I don't think you two should, either.

Stephanie: Really? The woman called her an adulteress, a fraud. I mean... (Laughs) there is a certainly amount of hypocrisy in all of this, isn't there? And don't you think that your daughter knows it? I don't think this company can ignore that. And I don't think your daughter can ignore it, either.

Hope: Mm, it's so cozy in here.

Liam: Yeah? I thought I'd light a fire.

Hope: Mm-hmm. Mm. Hey, I can't find my phone. I don't know what I did with it. I think--maybe I left it in my car? I don't know.

Liam: Are you serious?

Hope: Yeah.

Liam: The--Hope, you were just talking on it to your mom and Stephanie.

Hope: Oh, yeah. I knew that.

Liam: (Scoffs) Did you?

Hope: I--yes, I did. I knew that. Mm. Are you making brownies?

Liam: I am. Double chocolate fudge.

Hope: (Gasps) Yes! Oh, my God. You're amazing.

Liam: That's a minority viewpoint.

Hope: (Laughs) That's why I keep you around.

Liam: I know.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Liam: I know.

Hope: Mm. This is the best... (Sighs) being here alone with you, laughing and making brownies. Knowing that I get to do this for the rest of my life is just... it makes me so happy.

Liam: (Laughs) Good. I'm glad.

Hope: (Laughs) Yeah.

Liam: We should always be this happy.

Hope: We should, shouldn't we? But I'm--I'm always such a worrywart. I worry, worry, worry.

Liam: Hey, hey, hey.

Hope: Blah, blah, blah. I'm such a drag.

Liam: You know what? Hey. You bite your tongue. I fell in love with that worrywart. But I gotta tell you, I am so impressed with the way that you've been handling yourself, I mean, especially after what happened at Dayzee's. That was horrifying, and--and you overcame it. You just...

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: Dealt with it, and it was amazing. You are amazing.

Hope: (Chuckles)

Liam: So tell us, Hope Logan, what is your secret? How do you do it?

Hope: (Chuckles) My secret is you, Liam. My... fantastic, amazing, magnificently wonderful love for you. (Chuckles) Wow. I am just... I am so happy right now.

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: I'm serious, Liam. I have never been so happy in my whole life. (Laughs)
