Katie: Oh, come on. Don't pretend like you're not involved in this.

Liam: No, no, no, w-wait a minute. So the--the--the whole time, the whole time that I thought Steffy was dying...

Katie: Lies, all lies--again. Come on, Bill. Fess up. Tell 'em what you did.

Brooke: Ridge? He must still be in his meeting.

Hope: Mom, I want to tell him myself. (Sighs) Do you think he'll be disappointed?

Brooke: Maybe. (Sighs) But he loves you, and he and I will support you if you want to pull the Hope for the Future line. He will question it, however, just like I am, and he's gonna want you to think it through.

Hope: I have. I can't do it anymore, Mom. I cannot stand in front of an audience and give another speech about values that I am now questioning. It--it's not gonna ring true. The press will see right through it, and so will our customers.

Brooke: What about all the young women that you've inspired so much? Think about that before you lose faith in your message.

Hope: Everything I was preaching backfired on me. The only thing my message did was drive Liam away. (Sighs)

Brooke: Honey, think of all the good that you've been doing.

Hope: I feel more like a fraud. This entire campaign has been so archaic, and--and I'm finally catching on.

Brooke: Encouraging young women to respect their bodies to make the right choices about when to be intimate-- I mean, what's wrong with that? You really have made a difference. If you want to back away from the line, do that. Just don't back away from your principles.

Hope: Liam married Steffy. (Sighs) He and I had our whole future planned out, and he married her. So my principles didn't work very well. (Sighs)

Brooke: You've read all the blogs and all the e-mails. Everybody respects you for holding true to your values. You didn't lose. You didn't. And I really hate to say this, but I thought that you and Liam would be together forever. But if Liam chooses a life with a person like Steffy... you aren't the one who's a loser.

Steffy: I saw the M.R.I., Katie. We all did.

Katie: Someone's M.R.I., not yours.

Liam and Steffy: What?

Katie: They used different results. Steffy was never in any danger.

Steffy: Oh, right. How would the doctor not realize that? Come on!

Katie: The doctor was in on it. Now did you pay him, off, too, or was that just Bill?

Bill: All right, Katie, enough. Stop.

Katie: Oh, no, I'm going to be heard. I don't care how many rooms you lock me in.

Liam: Lock you in? What?

Katie: Oh, yeah, just for your information, if you ever want to keep your wife from telling the truth, you can always lock her in the tower.

Steffy: Oh, my God. No. No, no, no, this is--

Katie: Oh, you didn't think he would go that far? You should be careful who you scheme with.

Liam: You locked Katie in a tower?

Katie: To keep me from telling you what they did.

Bill: No, to keep you from saying foolish things that would only upset people.

Liam: Oh, my God, this doesn't make any sense.

Steffy: Nothing happened.

Katie: Oh, well, let me explain it to you. You were going to leave Steffy. You were gonna go back to Hope. And then suddenly, Steffy can't be upset, and your poor little delicate wife can't have any stress, or else she'll die.

Steffy: Not true at all.

Katie: They were so desperate to keep you together, because they knew you wanted to end it.

Steffy: Liam, this is a lie.

Katie: So they thought up the most disgusting lie to keep you from doing that. Is it starting to make sense, Liam?

Steffy: Liam, come on, believe me. Bill, say something.

Brooke: Okay, I guess I don't really understand what happened here. (Sighs)

Hope: The man I love married somebody else.

Brooke: I know, I know. You're heartbroken. I get that. I've been there. But how does that affect what your line means to you? Unless I'm mistaken. Was your message about holding on to a man?

Hope: No, of course not.

Brooke: You are asking young women to look inside themselves and try to figure out what morals worked for them, what their values were, and that's what's really important. (Clapping hands rhythmically) That's what counts. And if there is a man worth waiting for, he's going to respect that.

Hope: Okay, but that's-- that's really not even why Liam and I broke up. You know, yes, it was difficult for him, but he understood.

Brooke: Fine, exactly. Then don't give up on your line. Your message wasn't wrong. Honey, your message has nothing to do with your relationship with Liam. It's about you, and it's about these young women who need somebody like you to help them figure out who they are, what their morals are, and what they need to stick to. God knows if I had somebody like you when I was growing up, things would have been a lot easier for me. You really have made a difference, and you are making a difference. Don't give up on that now. Please. Not for a man. I know you're stronger than that. I know you are. (Sniffles)

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: I can't-- I can't even-- you locked Katie in a tower?!

Bill: Because I didn't want her telling you all this nonsense.

Steffy: Because she doesn't know what she's talking about? Because she's making it up? What, he just wanted her to come to her senses, right?

Bill: I hoped she would.

Katie: He wanted me to go along with your lie, as if locking me away is gonna change the truth. I'm not letting you two get away with this.

Steffy: Katie, I don't understand why you think this is a big lie.

Katie: Because I showed the M.R.I. to my doctor. I have proof.

Steffy: And what? She thought it wasn't mine? How could they know that?

Katie: Because she had the M.R.I. from the last time you hit your head in the bathtub, and she compared the two. And guess what? Two different people.

Steffy: Oh, God.

Liam: So this is true?

Bill: Maybe there was some mistake in Mexico.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Bill: Maybe someone switched Steffy's M.R.I. but it--it doesn't matter. Clot or not, your wife needs you.

Liam: Dad, Dad, don't B.S. Me! Did you do this?! Did you do this?

Bill: Yes.

Liam: (Gasping)

Hope: You're right. (Sighs) You're right, Liam shouldn't define me, and what happened between us should have nothing to do with my line or my vision.

Brooke: He made choices. He has to live with them, not you.

Hope: Yeah. Yeah, so... Liam married Steffy. Fine. That doesn't change who I am or what I believe in. Yes... (Sighs) I still love him. But I-I-I can't keep living my life for what might have been. I... I'm not giving up. I'm not-- I'm not giving in, and I'm not going to become somebody else. I'm not gonna become somebody like Steffy. Thank you. (Sighs) Thank you for reminding me why I did all of this in the first place.

Brooke: Does this mean that...

Hope: (Sniffles)

Brooke: Hope for the Future is back on?

Hope: Yes, it does! Absolutely.

Brooke: (Laughs) Oh!

Hope: I have a message. I still have a message, and... (Sniffles) You know what? Steffy can make fun of me, and Bill can smirk, and he can thank his lucky stars that his son didn't end up with "The evil virgin."

Brooke: (Laughs) Oh, Honey.

Hope: But I'm not going to stop saying what I believe, and--and I'm not going to compromise my integrity. I don't care. Even if I end up an old maid, at least I will have respect for myself!

Brooke: (Laughs) I highly doubt you will ever be an old maid.

Hope: (Laughs)

Brooke: And you know what? The right guy will come along, a man who loves you and respects you for who you are. You stand up for what you believe in. Oh, Honey, you are everything I always wanted you to be...

Hope: (Sighs)

Brooke: Everything that I couldn't be myself, and everything that everybody works towards, you know, to have that love and that respect for themselves. And you do it. (Chuckles) If you just hang on to that, everything will fall into place, I promise.

Hope: (Sniffles)

Brooke: I am so... (Laughs) Proud of you.

Hope: (Laughs)

Brooke: I am.

Hope: Thank you.

Brooke: (Laughs) Ohh. Ohh.

Hope: (Laughs) (Sniffles) Mm.

Brooke: (Chuckles) (Sighs)

Liam: This is disgusting, you two. It's beyond disgusting.

Steffy: Liam, I didn't do anything.

Liam: No, no, no, no, no. How many times are you gonna lie to me before I finally get it? Is this-- is this marriage to you?

Steffy: No, I didn't--

Liam: Is this what a marriage is supposed to be? Just lie after lie after lie? I'm supposed to stay with you because you're dying? I don't even--I don't even know what love means to you.

Bill: Liam, Steffy had nothing to do with this.

Liam: No, I don't believe a damn word that comes out of your mouth!

Steffy: I would never do anything like this to you!

Liam: You would never what? You would never lie to me about Hope? You would never trap her in a gondola? You would never collude with your brother in Mexico to keep us apart? You keep on justifying these things, Steffy. You justify them like its okay. It's not okay! You know, our entire marriage to you is about keeping me away from Hope. It's not even about us, and you told me, "No more lies. No more manipulation."

Steffy: I know. I know, but I haven't, Liam, believe me. Please, just le--

Liam: No, I'm done. I'm done with this. I'm outta here. I'm done.

Bill: Liam, stay here and let me explain.

Liam: You have nothing left to say to me! Now it's my turn to explain...

Steffy: No, Liam, please, please, don't--

Liam: To Hope!

Steffy: Please, don't. Liam!

Bill: Liam. Liam, stay!

Steffy: (Sobbing)

Bill: Go after him.

Katie: Leave him be.

Bill: I need to speak to Katie-- alone!

Steffy: Do you realize what you've just done?

Katie: I had to tell the truth.

Steffy: I meant him! What you put me through!

Bill: Liam was going to leave you. I stopped him.

Steffy: What do you think he just did?! What, so you prolonged it a while? Bill, for weeks, I was living in fear that I was going to die!

Bill: You almost did die. You had a serious injury. You needed your husband to care for you, by your side.

Steffy: You know, every waking moment, I just kept thinking, am I--am I gonna die today? Is this what it's gonna feel like? How will I know its happening? That is what you put me through!

Katie: Liam's not here anymore. You don't have to keep pretending.

Bill: Katie, shut it!

Steffy: Was it worth it? 'Cause the result's the same... except now he hates us both. You know, he ran straight of here and went right to Hope, because he thinks that I lied to him again because of you! You tried to save my marriage? You just ended it. I'm guessing this is the end of your marriage, too.

(Vehicle horns honking)

[Liam remembering]

Hope: (Sighs) Say it one more time. Say those words one more time.

(Siren wailing) (Sighs) (Sniffles)

[Hope remembering]

Liam: I love you, Hope Logan, and I'll always love you-- tonight, tomorrow, and the rest of our days.

Hope: (Giggles)

Liam: And I want you to be my wife.

Hope: (Giggles)

Liam: Will you marry me?

Hope: Yes. (Laughs)

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: Yes, I would like nothing more than to be your bride. (Giggles) (Laughs)

Hope: (Laughs happily)

Brooke: Honey?

Hope: Hi.

Brooke: Why did you want to come up here?

Hope: (Sighs) This is where he proposed.

Brooke: (Sighs) Oh, Hope.

Hope: No, don't worry, I-I'm not wallowing. It just felt right, letting it come full circle, you know? (Sighs) I really love him, Mom.

Brooke: I know. I wish things had worked out differently for you.

Hope: Just thinking that it's really over, I... (Sighs) I wish I could go back to that night when we came up here and committed our lives to each other. I just... I just wish I could hear those words one more time.

Liam: Hope.

Hope: Liam. What are you doing here?

Brooke: Liam, I don't think this is such a good--oh.

Liam: I'm through, Hope. I'm freeing myself from the lies, and I'm looking to my future, and that's you.

Hope: What?

Liam: I love you.

Hope: (Sighs) (Chuckles) Oh, Liam.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: Liam. (Giggles) Ohh.
