Liam: Uh...

Hope: (Laughs)

Liam: (Laughs)

Thomas: Liam! What do you think you're doing? You're married to my sister.

Hope: Thomas.

Katie: I'm not gonna let anyone make a fool out of me, Bill.

Bill: Katie, I wasn't making a fool out of you. I didn't say anything because I knew you'd misunderstand.

Katie: You knew I would have questions. I don't understand why you're continuously involving yourself in Steffy's manipulations. That's why you didn't tell me that Steffy and Liam were at the same resort as Hope and Thomas.

Bill: You make it sound so nefarious. It wasn't. I am simply protecting my son's marriage.

Katie: It's more than that, and it’s about time you admitted it to me and to yourself.

Bill: (Sighs)

Brooke: How's it coming?

Ridge: You be the judge.

Brooke: (Gasps) Oh! It's beautiful! Ooh.

Taylor: Oh. Uh, Pam wasn't at her desk. Am I interrupting?

Ridge: Hey, Doc, what brings you by?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: Well, I was wondering if you'd heard from Thomas.

Ridge: I got a text from him a little earlier.

Taylor: Oh, good. Well, I-I hope he and Hope are enjoying themselves.

Ridge: I think he'd be enjoying himself a little more if Hope had said yes.

Taylor: Said yes to what?

Brooke: To your son's marriage proposal. But she turned him down for obvious reasons.

Ridge: And how's this for a coincidence? They're staying at the same resort as Steffy and Liam.

Taylor: How did that happen?

Brooke: We don't know exactly how. But however it happened, I just Hope that they're okay and nothing's gone wrong.

Thomas: Steffy!

Liam: Oh, my God! Oh, my God, Steffy.

Hope: Oh, my God.

Thomas: (Gasps)

Hope: Steffy! Oh, my God.

Thomas: Guys, call somebody! Steff, wake up, please.

Bill: You're making way too much out of this.

Katie: I don't think so. There's a definite pattern here.

Bill: What pattern?

Katie: You and Steffy are keeping secrets. It's starting to feel like Aspen all over again.

Bill: It's nothing like that.

Katie: Why, because she didn't ask you to stop a gondola this time? What did she ask you to do?

Bill: You know what? You are getting on the wrong person. It's your niece that's creating the trouble.

Katie: Well, it's my niece who has been the most hurt by all of this. Are you telling me that she won't be hurt again?

Bill: (Sighs)

Katie: Can you promise me that whatever you and Steffy are up to, no one will get hurt?

Taylor: I think maybe I should call Steffy.

Brooke: (Sighs) Or I could try reaching Hope.

Ridge: Look, they're handling this. I think we need to stay out of it.

Taylor: Okay. But on behalf of mothers all over the world, that's easier said than done, especially in certain circumstances.

Ridge: Why do I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle with you two?

Taylor: Ridge, if anybody's been losing out, it's been Steffy. She has been through so much in her young life. I mean, she watched her parents' marriage fall apart. She lost her sister. I know there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't think about her. She misses her terribly. I also know that's why she lives her life in overdrive. It's her way of staying close to Phoebe. It's like she's trying to live her life for her. And on one hand, that might seem like being mischievous to some people, but on the other hand, it's also showing you just how fragile and how sensitive she really is.

Doctor: (Speaking Spanish)

Man: (Speaking Spanish)

Doctor: (Speaking Spanish)

Liam: Uh, uh, Doctor. Doctor, excuse me.

Woman: No, no, no. (Speaking Spanish)

Liam: What? What? I'm sorry, I--

Woman: (Speaking Spanish)

Liam: I don't understand what you're saying to me. I--she--

Thomas: No-- no hablamos español.

Woman: (Sighs) Wait here. Wait here.

Hope: Okay. Okay.

Liam: All right. Okay. We should be in there with her. I don't understand why they're not letting us go in there.

Doctor: Mr. Spencer?

Thomas: No, Thomas Forrester. I'm Steffy's brother.

Liam: Oh, I'm--I'm-- I'm the husband. I'm Liam. How is she?

Thomas: She's gonna be okay, right?

Doctor: (Sighs) I understand you witnessed the accident.

Thomas: Yes. She was driving. She slammed on the brakes and went flying off. I-I think she hit her head, but from where I was standing, I couldn't be sure.

Doctor: Has she ever had a head injury before?

Thomas: No. No.

Liam: Yes. Yes! Remember, uh, she--she hit her head on the tub last year. She slipped, she fell. She almost drowned.

Hope: Yeah, yeah. Uh, Liam gave her C.P.R. and saved her life.

Doctor: Was she hospitalized at the time?

Liam: No, but, you know, her doctor said, "Keep an eye on it," and luckily, everything turned out okay.

Doctor: Okay, I need to get back to my patient.

Liam: Well--

Doctor: You have to remain out here.

Thomas: W-wait. That's my sister. I want to be with her.

Doctor: When I finish my examination.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Hope: (Sighs)

Thomas: Of course.

Liam: Yeah.

Thomas: (Scoffs)

Hope: (Sighs) Hey. Hey. Steffy's a fighter. She is strong.

Thomas: (Sniffles) So was Phoebe.

Hope: (Sighs)

Doctor: (Speaking Spanish)

Woman: Sí, Señor. (Speaking Spanish)

Doctor: (Speaking Spanish)

Liam: So this is why you've been so distracted, why you've been disappearing? You knew Hope and Thomas were here the whole time, Steffy?

[Liam remembering]

Steffy: Hope!

Liam: Forget this. Hope? Hope!

Hope: Thomas, stop. What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing here? When did you get here?

Doctor: (Speaking Spanish)

Woman: (Speaking Spanish)

Doctor: Muy bien.

Liam: How is she?

Doctor: Still too early to tell. We need to run more tests.

Thomas: (Sighs) What kind of tests?

Doctor: There don't appear to be any broken bones or any neck or spinal involvement. Her vitals are steady.

Liam: (Sighs)

Doctor: That's the good news. But your sister is still unconscious. We have to find out why.

Thomas: Well, she hit her head.

Doctor: Fortunately, there's no external bleeding. The C.T. scan should tell us more. We need to take her to Radiology.

Liam: Oh, this is serious.

Doctor: I know you want answers, but until we run the necessary tests, and evaluate them very carefully, just know we're doing everything possible for your wife.

Hope: Go ahead.

Thomas: I need to call my parents.

Taylor: So Hope and Liam haven't run into each other, and they're at the same resort?

Ridge: Apparently not.

Brooke: Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Taylor: Wonder what?

Brooke: If that's a fluke, too, or something more.

Taylor: Oh. Oh, my gosh. What, now you're accusing Steffy a--

Brooke: No, no. I'm not accusing anybody. I'm just saying, what are the odds that Hope and Liam haven't run into each other yet?

Taylor: Oh, yes. Unless Steffy were the one there making sure that didn't happen.

Brooke: (Whispers) Bingo.

(Cell phone rings)

Ridge: Oh, it's Thomas. Hey, Son. We were just talking about you. How's it going?

Thomas: There's been an accident, Dad. Steffy's in the hospital. It's serious.

Taylor: What? What happened?

Liam: (Sighs) (Sighs) Hey, uh, it's me.

Bill: Hey, Kid, why are you calling me you're supposed to be frolicking in the ocean with your new bride. Oh, wait a minute, let me guess. You ran up the bar tab. You need me to float you a loan.

Liam: Dad, can you--stop. Stop. This is--this is serious.

Bill: What's serious?

Liam: Uh, well, we're at the hospital, and, um... Steffy's been hurt, and she's not conscious.

Bill: What the hell happened? Well, what do the doctors say? What do you mean, that's all they know? All right, uh, put whoever's in charge of her case on the phone now. All right, fine. But when I get there, I want to see him immediately. Yes, of course, I'm coming. Where else would I be? This is my family.

Liam: My dad's coming. (Sighs)

Hope: Yeah. I'm sure, uh, Ridge and Taylor will be here, too.

Liam: Yeah, and they're gonna have a lot of questions and not just about Steffy's condition. Mean... what--what do I tell them?

Ridge: Okay, that was Spencer. They're pulling into the parking lot.

Taylor: Call Thomas again. I-I want to know if there's any more word.

Ridge: It hasn't been that much time, Doc. They're probably still running tests.

Taylor: Feel so helpless.

Ridge: I do, too. I do, too. Thomas is there with her. He's just watching over her until we can get there, okay?

Brooke: Did Thomas say how the accident happened?

Ridge: No, not really. I didn't press him. He's got a lot to deal with right now.

Taylor: I can't lose her. I can't go through this again, Ridge.

Ridge: You won't. We won't, I promise.

Bill: So do I.

Taylor: Have you heard anything, anything new?

Bill: No. No.

Ridge: Bill, once again thank you for your help.

Bill: Above all else, we're family, Ridge, and this is a family crisis. The sooner we can get to Mexico, the sooner we can be there for Steffy.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Katie: Bill's made all the arrangements.

Bill: My jet's fueled. We're ready to take off as soon as we get there. My driver's downstairs.

Taylor: Okay, let's go.

Ridge: Okay.

Katie: Give Liam my love, okay?

Bill: Yeah, I will.

Katie: And call me.

Bill: As soon as I know Steffy's out of danger.

Katie: Okay.

Ridge: Logan, please make sure that none of this leaks to the press, okay? The last thing we need in Cabo is something like that.

Brooke: I know. I'll do my best. And tell Hope to call me. I'm worried about her, too. And don't worry, Steffy will pull through this.

Ridge: Yeah. Come on. Come on. Come on.

Katie: All right, fly safe. I love you. (Sighs)

Brooke: (Sighs)

Woman: No change.

Thomas: (Sniffles) Hey. (Sniffles) Mom and Dad are on their way. They told me to tell you how much they love you. You're gonna be just fine. (Sniffles) Of course, you and I already knew that. No bump on the head is gonna keep Steffy Spencer down. (Sniffles) (Sighs) love you. (Sniffles) (Sighs) (Sniffles) (Sighs)

Liam: This was, uh... supposed to be the honeymoon we never had-- you know, fun in the sun and... just the two of us together. (Sighs) And now I would give anything to see those eyelids flicker.  Come back to me, Steffy. Come back.  (Sniffles)
