Pam: Do you hear me, Donna? You and Eric are through. It's over, finito. That is my promise to you.
Donna: I'm calling the police.
Pam: Oh, I-I wouldn't do that if I were you. I--see, I've got this little friend here under my poncho. What, you--you don't believe me? Hmm, go ahead then, make the call, see how fast you become Swiss cheese.
Donna: I-I could-- I could scream. Ridge is-- Ridge is right upstairs.
Pam: (Laughs) Ridge is working late. Owen just left here. Brooke just drove your mom to the E.R., Where your overprotective son is laid up with a snakebite. My, two of your precious family members in the hospital at one time-- is that a coinkydink or what?
Taylor: So your doctors say that you're going to be okay? There is no permanent effects?
Marcus: Well, that's what the doctors told me.
Steffy: Might even spring you tonight.
Marcus: Hey, that's cool with me.
Stephanie: Hi. All right if I come in?
Steffy: Grandmother, sure, come on in.
Stephanie: Hi.
Rick: Hey.
Taylor: Hi, Stephanie.
Stephanie: Marcus, I'm so sorry that this happened to you, and, uh, gosh, I'm-- I'm so relieved that you're all right and nothing-- you know, that you weren't seriously hurt.
Donna: It was you. You are not gonna harm anyone else in my family. That is my promise to you. You're not gonna get away with this.
Pam: Gotta catch me first, and no one's even come close. Not going to either. You know, Donna, it's--it's been kinda fun being on the other side of the law, eluding their grasp. (Laughs) Look, here I am watching you, making sure that you do not take what is not yours. Eric is exactly where he should be right now. He is with my sister.
Donna: He is my husband.
Pam: Oh, yeah. Life's full of choices, isn't it? And you got one to make now. If you want your honey bear off the endangered species list, you will leave him alone. Stay out of Eric's life, Donna. That's an order. Or the lemon bar bandit strikes again.
Beth: Marcus, oh, my goodness.
Marcus: Grandma, what happened? How come you're limping?
Beth: Oh, you should see the other guy. I got hit by a car.
Stephanie: Oh, my God.
Taylor: What? Where? Where did this happen?
Brooke: It was hit-and-run right by her house.
Steffy: God.
Rick: Are you gonna be okay?
Beth: Yeah, nothing broken. I'm just really lucky.
Brooke: I wanted to bring her to the hospital just to make sure.
Ridge: Well, crowded in here.
Eric: Oh, my God.
Ridge: Must be a good sign.
Stephanie: Are you all right? Should you be out again?
Eric: Donna told me what happened to Marcus and--and to her mother. I just wanted to see how they're doing.
Marcus: The doctors say I'm gonna live, so...
Eric: Well, you're in good spirits. I'm glad to see that. And you--oh, my God. Are you in one piece?
Beth: Well, so far, so good.
Eric: Yeah, donna was frantic when you called. She ran out of the house. Have you--have you let her know that her mother's okay?
Brooke: Yeah, she saw Mom before I brought her to the emergency room. She's waiting at home for the kids.
Marcus: Poor Mom got a two-for-one tonight.
Eric: Yeah, she's gonna be emotionally wrung out.
Brooke: Thank you for your concern about Donna, but now that she knows that Marcus and Mom are gonna be okay, I'm sure she's gonna be just fine. It's all behind us now.
Eric: Yeah.
Donna: Pam, you have been off your meds for--for too long now, okay? You--you need help. You're out of control.
Pam: But that's exactly where you're wrong, Donna. I have never felt better in my entire life. I am callin' the shots now, miss hot tamale, and I am on a mission to make sure that my sister gets exactly the life she wants, the life she was meant to live with Eric.
Marcus: Well, I thank you all for comin' down here and takin' the time out to see if I'm okay. It really means a lot to me. I would like to speak to you alone for a minute, Eric. Is that okay with the rest of you?
Rick: Yeah.
Taylor: Sure.
Ridge: Sure, absolutely.
Beth: Excuse me.
Steffy: I'll be right outside.
Marcus: Thanks, baby.
Eric: So, Marcus, what is it? What do you want to talk to me about? Or do I even have to ask?
Marcus: My mom. She loves you so much. You mean everything to her. She would give her life for you.
Donna: Pam, Pam, let's just-- let's just talk about this without guns and without threats.
Pam: You don't understand anything but threats, Donna. You don't listen otherwise. But I sure got your attention tonight, didn't I, with all those precious family members, those wonderful Logans? Stephanie and I never had that. We had a horrible upbringing. The one good thing in my life, the only good thing, is Stephanie, and she deserves to live out the rest of her life surrounded by people that love her, with her family and with Eric. So you back off. If Stephanie doesn't get him, nobody does.
Donna: (Breathing heavily) If you-- if you are--are thinking about hurting Eric... Pam, Pam, do--do you remember when you realized you-- you caused his heart attack? Do you remember how-- how terrible you felt at Big Bear? And--and you said-- you said that you were hoping and praying he-- that he would pull through and come back to us.
Pam: No! To his family, to Stephanie, not to you, not to you. God, you--I-I should just finish you off right now. That would make everything so much easier.
Donna: No, no, no, don't do that. Pam, Pam, we-- we--we can make this fine, you know? We--we can pull through this, but the violence has to end. Please, let me help you. Let me help you.
Eric: Marcus, I'm having a pretty hard time forgetting what I saw.
Marcus: Look, I know Owen. I know his type. He's the kind of guy that always tryin' to find someone to be vulnerable and taken advantage. Eric, my mom was a wreck the entire time you were in that coma. Now Owen saw that and tried to make his move on her. Eric, she made a mistake. Now going to Owen for comfort-- yes, that was a bad move, but most of your family was pretty cold to her. She needed someone. She felt alone. She just chose the wrong person to lean on, and believe me, Eric, I know how sorry she is. She's praying that she'll be able to make things right with you. I hope you give her that chance. Eric, forgive her, please. At least say you'll think about it.
Donna: Pam, Pam, let--let--let me call your sister, okay? Or you--you call her. I-I bet she'd want to hear your voice to--to see that you're okay. Look, the police consider you armed and dangerous. Please, please let-- let me help you.
Pam: You help me? That'll be the day.
Donna: No, I-I will. I will, okay? Let's--let's call Stephanie, okay? It-- I mean, don't--don't you want to see her?
Hope: Bye, Mrs. Allen. Thanks for bringing us home.
Hope: Hi, Aunt Donna.
Donna: Hey, guys. How was the movie?
R.J.: It was awesome.
Donna: Oh, good, good. I'm so glad to hear it, but guess what? Tomorrow is a school day, so you need to get to bed, okay?
Hope: Where's Mommy and Daddy?
Donna: Um, well, they--they-- they had to go out. But you know what? I would love you to brush your teeth and put your PJs on, so go, go, go. Scoot. I'll check on you later, okay?
Pam: Very smart of you not to try to use those kids to try to get away. Very smart.
Donna: I didn't want you to be alone when you obviously need help.
Pam: (Laughs) What a crock. You don't want to help me. You want to see me dead, Donna.
Donna: No, no, no, no, Pam. I-I don't want to see anyone dead, okay, or hurt, especially those two precious children up there.
Pam: That little Hope really is adorable, isn't she?
Donna: My God. How could you even think about hurting a child?
Pam: Well, you just don't know what I'm capable of, do ya?
Donna: You have to know, Pam...
Pam: Hmm?
Donna: Stephanie would be horrified if you did anything to those children up there. It would kill her.
Pam: Yeah, so it's all in your hands then, Donna. You see, whatever happens is on your head. Just stay away from Eric, and nobody gets hurt. D-do you see how easy that is? You just tell Eric to go back to Stephanie, and everybody's safe. That just seems so simple to me. But you defy me, you try to somehow get Eric, think you can weasel your way out of this somehow, all bets are off. My sister will be with Eric, Donna, or nobody will.
Steffy: You want me to be your maid of honor?
Taylor: It would mean the world to me.
Steffy: Sure, of--of course. I-I'd be honored, Mom.
Taylor: Thank you, sweetheart.
Steffy: I just want you to be happy.
Rick: So what about you, man? You want to stand up for me? I hear my fiancée has chosen an incredibly hot maid of honor.
Marcus: You can count me in, buddy.
Rick: Nice. Excellent. (Chuckles) see, you're the ideal person for the job, because you don't know anything about our past, only our present. Come here. I love you.
Woman: Paging Dr. Stateman, Dr. Stateman, please.
Stephanie: Here.
Ridge: Oh, thank you.
Stephanie: (Sighs)
Ridge: Hell of a day.
Stephanie: I know. (Sighs) I've been thinking about what Beth said, you know, about the car and the driver. It almost seemed as though, um... well, the way she described it is that it was intentional.
Ridge: A lot of crazy drivers in L.A.
Stephanie: The thing with Marcus and now this-- the idea of a hit-and-run-- I mean, if you think about it, the two of them could be dead. Just seems strange to me... very strange.
Pam: You know what you have to do, donna. Tell Eric it's over. Owen is the man for you. You can't get enough of his virile, young body. And make it convincing, or I'm gonna tan someone's hide, and I ain't talkin' spray-on this time.
Donna: How am I supposed to do that? How am I supposed to do that when for weeks, all I've done is beg him to come back to me?
Pam: I don't care how you do it. Just do it.
Donna: (Breathing heavily)
Pam: Put on the performance of your lifetime, which shouldn't be hard if you really care about him as much as you claim to.
Donna: What?
Pam: If you love someone, set them free. Isn't that the saying? You are gonna let Eric go to save his life, and when you do, my life will finally have meaning. I will have been put on this earth for a purpose-- to reunite my sister with the man she loves. All those years I stood by and watched my father torment Stephanie. Do you have any idea what that was like for me? I-I was just a kid myself, totally helpless, and my mother would not lift a finger to help. So I watched my own sister, whom I adore, spend her entire childhood suffering in silence, donna, and I kept saying to myself, "Why was I spared?" Because of Stephanie. She did it for me. She saved me. So now after all these years, if I can give her something in return, her marriage, there is nothing and no one on this earth that is gonna get in my way, Donna, including you, especially you. (Doorbell rings)
Donna: (Gasps)
Pam: Donna, you count to ten, and then you answer it, and don't you try anything funny, or you'll be sorry.
Donna: (Breathing heavily) One, two, three, four...
(Doorbell rings)
Donna: Five, six, sev--seven...
Donna: Eric.
Eric: Hey.
Donna: Hi. What--what are you doing here?
Eric: I just saw Marcus at the hospital.
Donna: Oh, okay. Uh, how is he?
Eric: Well, your son is doing remarkably well, considering everything he's been through. I saw your mother, too. Apparently, her guardian angel was on duty, too. My God, what a-- what a terrible night you've had. You must have been worried sick.
Donna: Well, um, thank-- thank you very much. Thank you for--for stopping by and letting me know that. It's very kind of you.
Eric: That's not the only reason I'm here. Donna, I, uh...
(Crickets chirping)
Eric: I miss you. I miss you and me together, and I want to see you, and, uh, I want to do this.
Donna: Mm. (Gasps)
Eric: Donna, what is it?
Donna: (Breathing heavily)
Eric: Donna? Donna, talk to me. What's going on? What is it? Is--is--is something wrong? Donna, what's hap-- what's--what's going on? I just want to talk to you, you know? That's all. I just--I just want to talk to you for a minute. What is--what's happening? What's the matter?
