Bridget: What is it, Nick? What happened on Catalina?

Bridget: Tell me what happened between you and Katie.

Donna: I'm sorry. I just-- Owen, I can't. It--it wouldn't be right.

Donna: Do you understand?

Owen: Okay... if that's what you really want. Is it?

Ridge: He actually woke up? He spoke?

Stephanie: I was stunned.

Ridge: Oh. What did the doctor say?

Stephanie: Well, he said it's a very good sign, but of course, they're not sure about anything yet.

Ridge: Whew. Okay, what do we do now?

Stephanie: Wait. But I honestly believe he's on the road to recovery. Ridge, I want to get him out of here.

Ridge: Do you think we could?

Stephanie: Well, Seifert thought it would be a good idea to take him home. You know, to be-- for him to wake up and be in familiar surroundings.

Ridge: Oh, good. Okay, let's, uh, let's get Donna's permission. We'll get him released.

Stephanie: I don't want to involve Donna.

Ridge: Mother, we don't have a choice with that. She's his wife.

Stephanie: She gave up that privilege tonight when I walked in on her with Owen in your father's bed.

Ridge: You saw Donna and Owen having sex?

Stephanie: I didn't wait around to watch the finale. (Sighs) But let's just say they were well on their way.

Ridge: Did they see you?

Stephanie: No. No, no. They didn't even know I was there. Look, your father's fighting for his life here, and that... bitch is bedding her so-called employee. I want to get your father out of here. I don't want Donna anywhere near him. I want to get him home. I want to get him home where he belongs with the family that really loves him.

Katie: (Sighs) He's telling her now. He's telling her right now.

Nick: Katie was done. She wanted to quit. She wanted to die. She would have stopped taking her medication if I'd have let her.

Bridget: It's a good thing you were there then, huh?

Nick: Yeah. You know, I guess that was my part, wasn't it? To just be there, to take care of her, to make sure she had what she needed. Everybody had their role to play. Nick was gonna pretend he was in love with Katie while she was dying.

Nick: The only problem is nobody dealt with the fact that she's living.

Bridget: Honey, I never asked you to pretend like you were in love with her. I just wanted you to spend time with her. Are you angry a-about this? I'm so sorry. I just knew that Katie cared about you, and... (sighs) oh, my goodness. I never intended for you to play this role of-- of, you know, being the savior for some dying woman. I assumed that you two shared some pretty deep moments. And I hope you don't feel guilty about that or harbor resentment toward me, 'cause for the record, I am not harboring any resentment toward you.

Nick: Well, you might. I did something wrong, something I need to tell you.

Owen: God, you drive me crazy, and I don't want to stop. But I will if it is what you really want.

Donna: I'm sorry. I'm s-- I'm not ready. Not yet. Owen, you know how I feel about you after everything you've done. But Eric could wake up from his coma and come home to me tomorrow. Look, Eric was-- Eric is the love of my life. (Sighs) I'm sorry.

(Cell phone rings) (Ring)

Donna: Hello?

Ridge: Donna, it's Ridge. Would you meet me at the hospital?

Donna: Is-- is it Eric? Did something happen?

Ridge: No, it's not about him. It's something else.

Donna: O-okay. I'll--I'll be right there.

Ridge: She's on her way.

Stephanie: Will you handle this, please?

Ridge: Absolutely.

Stephanie: Good. Because I don't think I could trust myself alone with her right now.

Katie: (Sighs) Are you telling her now, Nick?

Bridget: You did something wrong?

Nick: I allowed myself to get... caught up in it.

Bridget: What do you mean "Get caught up in it"?

Nick: Caught up in the moment. No matter how involved it got with Katie, it has nothing to do with my commitment for you. I love you.

Bridget: Uh-huh.

Nick: And she loves you. And we would never do anything intentionally to hurt you.

Bridget: I'm listening.

Nick: Something happened on the island.

Bridget: Did you sleep with her? Is that what you're trying to tell me, Nick? You slept with Katie.

Donna: Ridge? Ridge, I got here as soon as I could. What's going on?

Ridge: It's about Forrester Creations, Donna. The spring line's debuting in Paris this week, and I'm sure you're aware of that.

Donna: Well, y-yes. Of course.

Ridge: Normally Dad would go, or I would. Obviously, Dad can't attend, and I was, uh, let go, so I was wondering who you were going to have represent the company.

Donna: Oh, well, uh, um, maybe Rick could go.

Ridge: It's very important that someone from upper management goes, the person in charge. You, perhaps?

Donna: Me?

Ridge: Who better to reassure the buyers than Eric's devoted wife?

Donna: Oh, okay. Um, well, under normal circumstances, of course I would go in a heartbeat, but I-I can't leave Eric right now.

Ridge: Donna, you're in charge here. Now if you want there to be a company when my father comes out this coma, you better start acting like the C.E.O. you claim to be.

Donna: Okay. Okay, fine, I'll go.

Ridge: Good. I expected you would. The Forrester jet is ready to go. Maybe you should take, um, your team with you-- Marcus, Owen.

Donna: Oh, well, no. No, Marcus is needed here, but, um... but you're right. I-I should probably take Owen. But I-I just want to say good-bye to your dad before I leave. Let him know I'll come back as soon as I can.

Ridge: Hmm.

Donna: Thank you. Thank you very much for thinking about the company at a time like this. Maybe when I come back, we can discuss your returning to the company.

Ridge: Mm.

Woman: Dr. Petaglia, call extension 1-9-8. Dr. Petaglia, extension 1-9-8.

Ridge: No, Donna. When you come back, I pray that Dad will be well, and you will be out of our lives for good.

Ridge: So the plane is ready?

Stephanie: Oh, yes. All she has to do is go home, pack up some sexy lingerie and then when she's out of the house, we'll get your father in.

Ridge: How soon can we do this?

Stephanie: I got the release papers. I'm gonna forge her signature.

Ridge: Mother, that's gonna come back to haunt you. This hospital doesn't exactly, uh, view you with a great reputation right now.

Stephanie: I'll deal with those consequences when I have to. Right now, I'm going to do what I think is best for your father.

Ridge: Okay, well, this will work out. That little cheater will be far away. Dad will wake up with the woman that really loves him by his side.

Donna: I'm off to Paris. (Sniffles) Seems kind of sudden, I know, but Ridge-- Ridge is right. It--it's best if I go. I am trying so hard to be strong.

Donna: I feel so lost without you. Will you please... please come back to me? Please?

Donna: You told me one time to... to move on with my life. How do I know if you're never gonna wake up? I would wait for you forever, Eric. But if you can't come back to me, I know you-- you would want me to find my happiness.

Donna: Good-bye, my love.

Bridget: So you're telling me that you had sex with Katie?

Nick: Yes.

Bridget: Can you explain to me how that has nothing to do with your commitment to me? Huh, Nick?! God, I've been such-- such a fool! What was I doing thinking that I could trust you again? Oh, my God, you haven't changed, Nick! You haven't changed one bit! You don't tell one woman that you're in love with them and go sleep with another one.

Nick: This was about her-- her happiness. It was one moment. We thought she was dying. It--

Bridget: Well, how the hell does her happiness involve sex? Huh? Wow, you must have felt really, really, really important giving that dying lady one last roll in the hay, huh? What I wanted for Katie was something sweet, innocent and pure. That was my purpose. I wanted you to spend her last remaining days and give them some meaning, some joy. How the hell you took that and gave yourself a green light for sex, I have no idea, but you were so sorely mistaken. I can't believe that I have been so naive to think that my aunt and the man that I love and am married to might actually have a little bit of respect for me and know that there's a line that you never, ever cross. How could you do this to us? Our history-- do you remember what it did to me when you left me for my mother?

Nick: Bridget, I'm not trying to feel like a hero, and I don't feel like I'm important because I had sex with her. It was in the moment. It was something that I shouldn't have done. I'm sorry if I hurt you. I-I don't know how else to exp--

Bridget: Well, then you should have kept your pants on.

Bridget: How did it feel standing up there at the altar with us saying our vows and you two looking me straight in the eye and lying to me in my face? And why the hell are you telling me this now? Something clearly changed, because you don't go and have sex with Katie in this once-in-a-lifetime, in-the-moment fantasy thing and then decide to tell me now. So go ahead, Nick, spit it out. What's changed? What else do you have to say to me?

Owen: Nice. (Laughs)

Donna: First time on a private plane?

Owen: Yeah, it is. I could definitely see myself owning one of these someday. I still can't believe that we're going to Paris.

Donna: Well, Ridge made it clear that I was needed. I mean, I'm acting as C.E.O. In Eric's absence, so I guess it makes sense.

Owen: You okay?

Donna: What am I doing? I mean, what--what am I doing? I-I-I am trying to run a company, and I have absolutely no experience. I'm-- my husband's in the hospital, and I'm flying to Paris for the debut of a spring line. I-I mean, chances are I'm-- I'm gonna say the wrong thing or--or laugh at the wrong joke, or--

Owen: All right, Donna, no, no, no. What are you talking about? You are gonna be perfect, and Eric is gonna be so proud of you.

Donna: Really? You think so?

Owen: Yeah, I do. I mean, it's obvious that Ridge feels the same way. Otherwise, he wouldn't ask you to come on this trip.

Donna: Okay.

Dr. Seifert: If all goes according to plan, we can transfer him home tonight.

Ridge: Great. Great news, doctor. Thank you so much.

Stephanie: Thank you, Dr. Seifert.

Stephanie: We're taking you home. And when you get there, you will be surrounded only by people who really love you. The next time you wake up, open your eyes, you'll be home.

(Crickets chirping)

Katie: Please forgive us, Bridget. This doesn't have to change everything. Please understand. Please.

Katie: Please love this baby.

Bridget: So what do you want to tell me? That you're in love with her and you want to run off into the sunset with her?

Nick: Bridget, I--

Bridget: And you're telling me this now because history would tell us that I'm probably going to say, "Go! Go, Nick. Go explore your feelings for her. I'll just stay home, wring my hands and wait patiently for you to get back." Well, it's not gonna happen.

Nick: Bridget--

Bridget: I will not play the fool again, Nick.

Nick: Please listen to me.

Bridget: Uh-huh?

Nick: This isn't about anything like that. I don't want to run off with Katie. I got caught up in the moment. I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you. This has nothing to do with my love or my feelings for you.

Bridget: Well, I know that you love me, Nick. You love me. You love me. The problem is you don't respect me! I don't care what your immoral little justifications are. It should have never happened.

Nick: You're right. It shouldn't have. I made a mistake.

Bridget: Is that--is that what we're gonna call it now? "A mistake"-- two people that were caught up in the moment and had this little fantasy? Fine. That's great. Call it a mistake. Why didn't you tell me? Why are you hiding behind this dirty, little secret? Why didn't you just tell me, Nick? You should have told me when you got home from Catalina. You should have told me the-- the night you proposed to me or the day that Katie was supposed to die and she didn't. Or you could have told me at our wedding ceremony.

Nick: Bridget... she's pregnant. She's pregnant, and it's my child.
